يا كاشفَ الكربِ اكشف أسى قلبي
O’ waiver of sorrow, waive the sorrow of my heart
عبّاسُ إنَّ دمعتي جرتْ على الحسين
Abbas, my tear was shed upon Hussain
أنتَ بها تُطلب والعونُ مِن زينب
You are implored by tears, and the blessings come from Zainab
كيفَ أعودُ خائباً وفارغَ اليدين
How do I return disappointed and empty-handed?

اي والله يا عبّاس تارس الدنيا إحساس
I swear O’ Abbas that you filled the world with emotions
سولفتك بسمك كربله عالرايح وعالجاي
Karbala has spoken deeply about you
الناس الذي يعطشون بالماي يتروّون
People who suffer thirst are quenched by water
بس انته من گد ماوفي يعطش عليك الماي
But due to your great loyalty, water thirst for you

انته غيره والبصيره نافذه وكلّك فخر
You’re the essence of pride and insight
ماكو مثلك تشهد اهلك بالعطش تجري نهر
You’re nonpareil, you reached the river but refused to drink

صوتٌ بأعماقي يا أيُها الساقي
A voice deep within me “O’ Quencher
أنزل عليَّ قطرةً من جودِكَ العظيم
Bless me with a drop from your great benevolence
فماؤكَ الكوثر والفوزُ بالمحشر
Your water is the Kawthar and the triumph in the hereafter
عيناكَ يبنَ المرتضى خارطةُ النعيم
Son of Ali, your eyes are the map to paradise

مثلك فلا موجود نخوه ومهابه وزود
You are unmatched in your nobility, glory, and benevolence
گد ما عظيم المنزله يتنخّه بيك حسين
You’re so great that Hussain pleads you
بخيبة أمل مولاي لا ما ترجع الجاي
You never disappoint those who seek you
حتى السهم لمّن اجه خلّيته وسط العين
You’ve even welcomed the arrow and kept it in your eye

واحد انته الما قبلته على شاطي العلگمي
You only rejected one on the bank of the Euphrates
الماي گرّب گلّك اشرب گتله لا ابقى ظمي
The water sought you asking you to drink, but you chose to remain in thirst



اجريتَ أنهارا فضلاً وايثارا
You’ve created rivers of selflessness
(يانفس هوني) لم تزلْ أنشودةَ الوفاء
“O’ soul, perish” is still a eulogy of loyalty
حاشاكَ تنساني مابينَ أحزاني
You shall never forget me in my anguish
ماهكذا الظنُّ بكَ ياسيّدَ العطاء
That is not your virtue O’ Master of benevolence

ما شايف ولا اشوف واحد بدون چفوف
I never saw one whose palms are severed
تنمد إله چفوف البشر يترسها رحمه وخير
Yet people extend their palms towards him, and he fills them with blessings and mercy
وبچفّك المگطوع باقي العلم مرفوع
In your severed palm, the flag remained high
وبحضرتك يابو الوفه مأمن ينام الطير
In your presence, even the birds rest in refuge

واليطوفك مايعوفك حضرتك جنّة عدن
He who visits you never abandons you, your shrine is a paradise
يابو فاضل انت كافل حاجتي بطول الزمن
O’ Abbas, you’re the guardian and my needs are weighty

وها أنا ارجو من محنتي انجو
I implore you to save me from my adversity
لذا أتيتُ نادباً يا أيُّها الكفيل
That is why I sought you in mourning O’ guardian
الروحُ مُحتاجة فقضي لها الحاجة
The soul is in need, grant its desire
فَمَن سِواكَ سيدي يشفي لها الغليل
Other than you, who can relieve its despair?
