(يُروىٰ لَها في الكُتُبي ... قَـد زارَهــا كلُ نَبي)
It is narrated in books that every Prophet has visited it
شمس الأراضين ... چي بيها الحسين
The sun of lands for it beholds Hussain
(أهلُ السَمَا تَقْصُدها ... صَلّت علىٰ سيِّدِها)
It is sought by the angels who greet their master
لوحه من الاحساس ... راسمها عبـــاس
An art piece of emotions sketched by Abbas

صارت حضـاره لـ الدمـع ... قِــبــــله للاحــرار
It has become a civilization for tears, a Qibla to the believers
(مَنْ زارها) گـــالــــوا إله ... عرش الله قد زار
He who visited it has indeed visited Allah in his shrine
بيت العشگ يا كربــله ... ومنها العشگ صار
The home of love O’ Karbala, it is where love formed

هيه السمـــاء الثامـــنه فوگ الارض ... تصـير
It is the eighth sky but on earth
هيه عـرش أعظم جَسَد لَموا عله الـ ... حصير
It is the throne of the greatest body which was gathered in a rug

إكرامــــاً لأشــرف نحر
In honor to the most noble neck
الـ ما يحترمها مو بَشَر
He who does not respect it is inhumane
كربـله يعــني بهالدهر :
Karbala is great indeed
حسين ... حسين
Hussain

( أيُّ دمٍ فيها نَــزَفْ ... وَ احْتَضَنَتْ نَحراً و كَفْ )
The purest blood was spilled in it, it embraced a severed neck and severed palms
انقَدِس إسمها ... خل نحترمها
We glorify its name, we must respect Karbala
( في تُربها سِـرُّ شِفا ... ذي كــربــلاءُ و كفىٰ)
Its sand holds the enigma of cures, this is the great Karbala
بوابــة دمـوع ... لمكسور الضلوع
The gate of tears upon the one whose ribs were shattered

ربتنه عالحب و الأدب ... نكسرها معقول ؟
It taught us upon love and manners, how can we not respect it?
يا نـاس نِعمه كربلـــه ... حِفــظوها لَتـــزول
Karbala is a blessing, preserve it so that you’re not deprived of it
اليعرِف قَدِر هاي الأرض ... بدموعه مقبول
He who knows it’s worth, is accepted by his tears

أم الحجــاب الزينبــــي خـل تقـــمَع الـ ... سفور
The veiled woman must vanquish immodesty
الشاب الحسيني بكل أدب ايعلمنه مِن ... يــزور
The faithful youth must perform visitation in manners

لأجل الحسين و مَقتله
For the sake of Hussain and his slaughter
لازم نِــقدس كربــــــــله
We must glorify Karbala
واللهِ ما عِـــشـنــه بَلَه :
We can never live without
حسين ... حسين
Hussain
________
( قالوا وقُلناها : إذَن ... صارتْ لنا خيرُ وطن )
Karbala has become our home
هالگاع منبيـع ... ابلا كربـله انضيـع
We shall never give upon on it, we’d be astray without Karbala
( ما بُدِلَتْ بالذهــبِ ... لا عذَّبَ اللهُ أبـي )
It can’t be replaced with gold; may Allah bless my father who taught me
ايگلّي إلي چان ... الحَبْ كربله إنسان
That he who loves Karbala is a human

بيها الزِرَع قـــطــرة بچي ... اتخضُّر إله عين
The eye of one who sheds a tear in Karbala must prosper indeed
و شباچ الأبيض لو حِضَن ... اتگول المحبين
If he hugged the mausoleum, you’d envision that these lovers
من السَـحــــــگ كأنـما ... يحْضِن بالحسين
Are hugging Hussain to protect him from trampling


يا ناس و الما محترگ خل يحرگه ... البكاء
He who is not devastated must sense anguish in weeping
أنا على دين الجــــزع و متربي بالـ ... العزاء
I live on the faith of mourning and grieving

لحسين أحب طعم الهضم
I love devastation upon Hussain
سادس فرض عندي اللطم
My sixth obligatory prayer is my chest-beating
صحت و رغم أنف الخصم
I cried despite the spiteful foe
حسين ... حسين
“Hussain!”
