[0:02][Music] [Music] will dig.
[0:32][Laughter] [Laughter] Say the for wal.
[1:28]form.
[1:31][Laughter] [Laughter] For the purification of the souls, the enlightenment of the
[2:25]hearts, the acceptance of the deeds, and for the hastening of the
[2:28]reappearance of the awaited savioral shar.
[2:31]Enlighten your souls and the atmosphere with the recitation.
[2:37]This is an important Quranic description that has been mentioned twice specifically
[2:43]in the immaculate book of Allah and it is directly linked to
[2:52]the commander of the faithful The great special news or tithing is
[3:10]a description that is found in the holy Quran twice.
[3:13]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala in chapter 67 of the holy Quran mentions
[3:21]this by saying Say it is a in itself.
[3:28]Allah says what is it that they are asking about the special
[3:41]news or tithing.
[3:44]The recognition that at the outset emerges is that many of us
[3:48]have come to recognize the association of this description in the holy
[3:54]Quran with and are indeed in the state of declaration of the
[4:07]special relationship that exists between the commander of the faithful and the
[4:11]holy Quran is in the month of the Quran and it's not
[4:17]a coincidence that he is struck on one of the nights of
[4:20]the Quran and he is marted on the other night of the
[4:25]holy Quran for you and I recognize that the holy prophet must
[4:38]establishes the foundation of the relationship between and the Quran.
[4:47]He comes forward in a book known as which is not a
[4:54]literature.
[4:55]The prophet is said to have mentioned Quran is with Ali and
[5:09]Ali is with the Quran.
[5:10]They are inseparable.
[5:10]They will never be separated until they meet me at the pond
[5:17]of kar.
[5:19]Similarly, when it comes to himself, he declares his relationship in the
[5:23]Quran with the Quran in the famous battle of when those individuals
[5:27]led by the enemy of Allah.
[5:30]He places the Quran on spears.
[5:33]When they placed the Quran on spears, Amir famously came forward and
[5:42]said, Quran I am the spoken Quran.
[5:45]Similarly I found another hadith that is narrated in the book in
[5:50]which says that I am the flag of Allah but also I
[6:03]am the words of Allah that is spoken.
[6:05]This is another dimension of the relationship of the Imisam with the
[6:10]Quran.
[6:11]What about its meaning?
[6:14]What about its interpretations?
[6:16]Each and every one of us has memorized the fact that famously
[6:22]said ask me before you lose me.
[6:26]When did he say this?
[6:28]It's mentioned that when he said this later he said never will
[6:38]you ask me about anything except that I will tell you about
[6:41]it.
[6:42]Then in another sermon he says the same thing and follows by
[6:47]saying ask me about the Quran.
[6:51]Imam is inviting and saying to people my relationship with the Quran
[6:56]is special.
[6:54]Why?
[6:56]He says he says by Allah there is not a single eye
[7:06]in the Quran.
[7:08]I know why it was revealed for whom it was revealed and
[7:11]what is the circumstances of its revelation.
[7:14]Every ayah I know it.
[7:18]Ask me.
[7:17]You will enrich yourself indeed with the knowledge.
[7:22]Likewise the famous companion of the holy prophet Abbas in another book
[7:28]which is not she author also by in this famous book he
[7:36]mentions that what in the holy Quran there are at least 300
[7:45]ayat that were revealed in the merit You and I may have
[8:01]come across this realization before.
[8:01]May have come across the idea that there are four.
[8:06]Some will come forward and say 333 ayat.
[8:09]Some will come forward and say for example chapter 5 verse number
[8:16]55.
[8:17]Some will come forward and say number five ayah number three.
[8:24]Some who are a little bit more learned say ay number 61
[8:34]that the Quran describes as the soul of the prophet.
[8:38]Yet the SH of Ali must also be equipped with lesser known
[8:45]ayat that have been established and quite clearly connected to the idea
[8:50]of the commander of the faithful through Sunni and Shia literature.
[8:54]Did you know that himself says there is an ayah in the
[9:01]Quran that is only in the reference to and that nobody before
[9:05]him and nobody after him did what this ayah says you must
[9:10]do.
[9:10]He says this ayah I was the only one who acted upon
[9:20]it.
[9:22]No one after me also acted upon it.
[9:27]Now someone comes to the of Ali and says which ayah is
[9:34]indeed talking about chapter 58 ayah number 12.
[9:38]Allah says what happened was that the prophet of Islam used to
[9:49]have consultations.
[9:49]People used to come to him to ask him questions.
[9:51]Allah subhana wa ta'ala says every time you come to see a
[9:57]prophet give sodaka means a secret conversation a private discussion givea before
[10:06]you speak to the holy prophet the only person that acted upon
[10:11]this ayah was every time he would come to the holy prophet
[10:14]he would give salaka and by the way he gave a lot
[10:18]of salaka because he would see the holy prophet very regularly Yet
[10:22]no other would give they would come and say no problem I
[10:27]will speak with the holy prophet I don't need to give that's
[10:28]why as well as of the other schools yes our brothers from
[10:36]other schools they say that this ayah is probably one of the
[10:39]few ays that went through abrogation that no one acted upon it
[10:43]other than Ali therefore afterwards this ruling this was lifted and therefore
[10:49]people didn't have Two, thereafter give sodaka towards what?
[10:54]Towards the consultation of the holy prophet of Islam.
[10:57]Yet another beautiful ayah that I'd like you to indeed remember is
[11:01]chapter 98 surah ayah 7 and 8.
[11:08]Please remember this ayah because this ayah will give us the confidence
[11:12]about number one the station and the status of a commander of
[11:15]the faithful as well as his followers.
[11:17][Music] Allah says those who are believers and do righteous deeds are
[11:39]the best of the people.
[11:54][Music] Quran says the best the creme the choices of God's creation
[12:04]are those who are believers and do righteous deeds they are called
[12:08]they will be given paradise underneath which rivers flow and importantly they
[12:15]will stay there forever.
[12:16]But Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Allah.
[12:21]Now the holy prophet peace be upon him and his family was
[12:24]asked this question.
[12:27]Who are they?
[12:29]We want to know so that we can either follow them or
[12:36]be one of them.
[12:35]three important books as well as yes all three have narrated that
[12:53]the prophet of Islam was asked this question he famously said It's
[13:04]you and your on the day of you are pleased with Allah
[13:09]and Allah is pleased with you.
[13:17]Therefore, many ayat can indeed give us inspiration, motivation when it comes
[13:25]to indeed being of the followers of the commander of the faithful.
[13:29]Yet one of them that I'd like to focus through through careful
[13:35]examination reflection is these sets of ayat in regards to what and
[13:41]I'd like your attention on this because when it comes to discussing
[13:48]with others when it comes to debates that are happening a lot
[13:51]on social media as well as in the workplace colleges universities everywhere
[13:56]around the world whether it's here in Africa Africa or in Europe
[14:00]or for example in the Middle East there are many discussions taking
[14:06]place between Muslims of different mah.
[14:09]The first thing to recognize is that what is happening online when
[14:13]it comes to the abusive language and the foul words that are
[14:18]being used is unacceptable, unislamic and not the of the prophet.
[14:23]Meaning what?
[14:25]That today some jah of the Muslim um they come forward they
[14:31]see a clip and trust me I am saying this based on
[14:33]experience of being at the receiving end of thousands of these particular
[14:37]verbal abuses.
[14:38]they see a clip from a follower of Ali or say they
[14:44]see something that is in praise of the B immediately on Instagram,
[14:49]Twitter, on other mediums especially YouTube the insults begin from this and
[14:55]that side in order to make themselves feel good in order to
[14:59]somehow show their true nature.
[15:01]This is totally rejected and the prophet of Islam would be the
[15:07]first to declare this unacceptable.
[15:08]Any person who goes and stoops this law including the followers of
[15:14]Ali and the including the who goes online and uses foul abusive
[15:20]insults is not representing number one the correct way number two is
[15:27]not actually doing the right thing committing haram that these ideas that
[15:31]indeed have been taught to us for 1400 years the least we
[15:35]can do when we engage in debates and discussions is to show
[15:40]is to show respectful mannerism.
[15:43]There is no problem if somebody disagrees with us.
[15:47]There is no problem if somebody comes forward and indeed has a
[15:51]different opinion to us.
[15:53]The important respect that we must show is that they're a human
[15:56]being and a human being that disagrees with us, we leave them
[15:58]between them and Allah.
[16:02]Number one.
[16:00]Number two, the engaging of discussions with others is in itself necessarily
[16:08]not a bad thing.
[16:08]But do not enter into debates with people when you are lacking
[16:11]knowledge or you are fearful into falling into doubt yourself.
[16:18]There are many out there today who engage in these sushi discussions
[16:23]and they come into the realization that afterwards I feel weaker.
[16:27]My im has become less.
[16:31]Yes, nobody's asking you to enter into these discussions.
[16:32]Make sure you equip yourself with the necessary and knowledge.
[16:36]Number two, very important.
[16:37]Number three, very important in this day and age.
[16:40]We are now in a new phase when it comes to Shiam
[16:44]and where we are in the world.
[16:46]For many centuries, Shiaism was under attack and we were hiding to
[16:49]preserve ourselves, our existence, our identity.
[16:54]Today, alhamdulillah.
[16:54]over the last maybe 30 40 years the spread of Shiaism the
[16:59]existence of the followers of in many parts of the world has
[17:04]given us a strong foundation and an existence what does this mean
[17:08]today we must not become apologetic she today we must not become
[17:12]appeasing sh today we must not become weak sh whereby our is
[17:19]not accepted by us unless it's approved by others meaning what today
[17:23]I have discussions with so many of Our brothers from within our
[17:26]communities and sisters they say I want evidence from the books of
[17:34]others for our practices for example our im in this or our
[17:37]in this.
[17:38]Why is it that imari does not mention or it is not
[17:43]find innatal or it is not performed by others.
[17:45]The response is this.
[17:50]My my beliefs, my my life, my teachings have to be from
[17:54]Ali Muhammad.
[17:56]I don't care if anyone else doesn't have it.
[18:00]As long as tells me what to do, I do not care
[18:04]if Abu anyone else tells it because that is not my leader.
[18:07]My leader is Muhammad.
[18:16]Let us as the she have confidence.
[18:22]I have my narrative.
[18:24]I have my I present it.
[18:26]Somebody rejects.
[18:28]It's that up to them.
[18:28]But I should not be weak to say you know what I
[18:33]am fearful that my practice is not accepted by others.
[18:35]That's why I say in countries like this Mosmbique in London in
[18:41]Europe in other places where alhamdulillah there is no fighting between Sun
[18:44]and Shia to the extent that there is what bloodshed there is
[18:47]peace between them the Shia must not be afraid when they go
[18:49]to anywhere to use a TBA or a mo and to pray
[18:53]like a and to say I am a why are we afraid
[18:57]just because we are 20 25% of the Muslim um stand up
[19:02]be honored speak to people tell them perform your the way and
[19:09]told you and leave the rest to Allahh.
[19:14]But we have to teach our children to be proud of their
[19:22]identity.
[19:19]We have to ourselves lead by example.
[19:22]Therefore, as I look at and what does actually refer to, let's
[19:31]look at three things that give us a good understanding of it.
[19:35]number one the Quran number two hadith and number three the Arabic
[19:39]language because of the utmost importance if we want to understand and
[19:44]how it's linked to we must look at the that exists and
[19:51]look at how and why do the is in reference to the
[19:53]commander of the faithful [Music] First point is what does in Arabic
[20:12]refer to?
[20:11]is in reference to first of all is not please understand I
[20:18]will go through a lot of Arabic in the hope that we
[20:21]can be enlightened and are able to understand why is it that
[20:25]we have a appreciative the status of the imam in our eyes
[20:32]in our and is a great news a special declaration a very
[20:37]important tiding yes it is not just aarab is a Then why
[20:41]is it that Allah subhana wa ta'ala says if is a special
[20:49]declaration that's huge what is the point of aim means great many
[20:53]have come forward and said this is emphasis and what extra declaration
[20:59]to highlight this is not something normal this is not something usual
[21:04]this is special that needs to be understood number one number to
[21:14]what are the opinions of regarding what is a few have said
[21:19]when Quran says what is it that they are asking is it
[21:27]they're asking about number one they say is the holy Quran but
[21:38]the majority of have said it's one of two things either the
[21:41]day of judgment or whom or the of so let's look at
[21:49]these two because the Quran idea is not necessarily agreed by many
[21:54]the mash the well-known is it's either the day of or it's
[22:02]in reference to im and his those who say it is in
[22:05]reference to the day of they say Allah subhana t says And
[22:10]is if you put on chat GPT by the way be very
[22:16]careful to use artificial intelligence to get your dean it's at the
[22:21]early stages it may confuse Sunni literature with it may give you
[22:24]selective readings if you ask it what does mean in the Quran
[22:32]it will tell you what it's the day of the day of
[22:37]and that is where you find the from Sahabah the school of
[22:43]Sahabah will come forward and say this why they say the first
[22:47]reason is this surah surah is mecc and mecc sur not for
[22:56]usually they talk about they talk about they talk about they do
[23:04]not talk about other things therefore it goes to show that is
[23:10]is resurrection.
[23:12]Our response is who told you im is im and the belief
[23:20]in divine leadership is without a shadow of a doubt the foundations
[23:26]of religion.
[23:25]Someone says you have it as as followers of but we don't
[23:31]have it.
[23:33]The response is in a hadith that is agreed by both and
[23:35]it is established as a foundation of religion.
[23:39]Which hadith Muslim narrates it all these?
[23:45]The hadith of the holy prophet peace be upon him is says
[23:53]anyone who dies without recognizing and having cognizance of the im of
[23:59]the time dies the death ofah.
[24:00]What is the prophet of Islam saying?
[24:02]Is this fur meaning branches or it's a fundamental part of the
[24:06]religion?
[24:07]Fundamental part meaning you have to have iman in it.
[24:10]It is not something that you follow.
[24:13]You must have from yourself.
[24:14]Therefore, the prophet says if you do not recognize the im of
[24:16]your time, you will die a death of ignorance.
[24:19]Therefore, the first recognition is that this surah is me.
[24:23]Yes.
[24:23]But it is talking about im which is what?
[24:27]which is part of the fundamentals of religion.
[24:30]Second is this they say if you look at the other ayat
[24:37]that comes after it it's talking about how this world has been
[24:43]organized in a particular manner thereafter that is the day of Then
[25:00]Quran says they say see this is evidence all the ayat are
[25:09]about the organization of this existence.
[25:13]Thereafter Quran says then the day of the resurrection, the day of
[25:18]separation is an awaited day.
[25:24]Now how do we respond to this?
[25:30]The response is very simple.
[25:32]Who comes forward and says that im is not regarding the organization
[25:38]of an individual's life.
[25:40]Please focus on this.
[25:40]Hisham Hakim was a famous companion of [Music] imaff once in the
[25:54]presence of the imam he told people the story he said in
[25:57]Basra there was a man by the name of and I knew
[26:04]that rejects Im so I went to the mosque and I sat
[26:11]down and there is circle and he was discussing certain topics.
[26:13]When I sat down, I did not show my face or people
[26:18]did not know who I am.
[26:19]Therefore, I sat down and I asked him a question.
[26:22]Oh, Amro, I have a question.
[26:23]He said, yes, ask your question.
[26:27]I said to him, do you have eyes?
[26:29]Omro said, excuse me, of course, I have eyes.
[26:32]Why are you here to mock me?
[26:34]I said, please answer the question.
[26:37]He said, yes, I have eyes.
[26:39]He said, "What is the point of your eyes?" He said, "To
[26:40]see." He said, "Do you have ears?" He said, "Yes, I have
[26:46]ears." "Why do you have ears?" "So that I can listen." He
[26:48]said, "Do you have a nose?" He said, "Yes." "What is the
[26:52]point of your nose?" He said, "So I can smell." He said,
[26:56]"Do you have a" He said, "Yes." He said, "What is the
[26:59]point of the the brain that you have?" He said to coordinate
[27:06]all these senses that Allah has given me.
[27:09]He said can the nose and the eyes and the ears function
[27:13]without the said no.
[27:16]He said why?
[27:19]He said in order for the eyes to function I have to
[27:21]see and the processes it.
[27:23]I have to hear and the intellect runs through it.
[27:27]I smell and the tells me what kind of smell.
[27:29]Therefore the is absolutely critical for all these senses to work then
[27:38]stood up and said listen Im is like Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
[27:45]has sent the affairs for mankind has sent them all these things
[27:50]they cannot function without a leadership chosen by Allah to guide them
[27:54]towards the truth and show them the path.
[27:58]So the man said to him, "Are you hakam?" He said, "No,
[28:02]no, no." He said, "You must be because only somebody who is
[28:07]a student of is able to bring such a deduction." Therefore, the
[28:12]idea that the verses in the Quran talk about what the systems
[28:15]in this world is in line with the notion that is what
[28:22]is im is what is absolutely essential for the running of everything.
[28:28]How many times we have heard this hadith this amazing hadith that
[28:33]many have misunderstood.
[28:35]Yes.
[28:35]where Allah subhana wa ta'ala [Music] says Allah if it wasn't for
[28:47]you I would not have created anything and if it wasn't for
[28:55]Ali I would not have created you and if it wasn't for
[29:01]I would not have created both of younations narrate this somebody comes
[29:10]and says what is this Allah comes and says to the prophet
[29:14]if it wasn't for Ali I would not create you and if
[29:18]it wasn't for you would not be created how how do I
[29:24]understand this never see a hadith and immediately say no no doesn't
[29:28]get to my your is weak not the hadith Never dismiss narrations
[29:36]that have been given to us by Ali Muhammad go and research
[29:39]and ask the and read how do we understand this hadith amongst
[29:45]very simple example if today somewhere in the Amazon forest in the
[29:51]world there is nothing nothing just forests somebody comes and builds the
[29:56]best and the most upto-date and the most technologically advanced university in
[30:02]the world, the best classrooms, the best technology, everything is there.
[30:09]And then says to people, please come and enroll and come to
[30:15]this university.
[30:14]They say, who are the teachers?
[30:17]He says, there is no teachers, but it has the best equipment,
[30:22]the best tables, the best chairs, the best technology you will enjoy.
[30:28]They say what's the point?
[30:28]We come here, we want to learn, we want the teachers.
[30:32]If you take away the teachers from the best university, the university
[30:36]becomes redundant and useless.
[30:38]Allah says, I have created this dunya, but I must have the
[30:45]best teachers in this dunya.
[30:46]Without them, this dunya is useless.
[30:48]What is the point of this dunya?
[30:50]without Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala's representatives who tell us how to best
[30:57]achieve success in they are Muhammad Ali Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam I
[31:08]will not be able to benefit from this dunya like that university
[31:12]without the teachers that have been yes appointed by Allah for this
[31:21]particular existence and this is affirmed in.
[31:24]Yes.
[31:22]That you and I [Music] recognize.
[31:33]Therefore, the recognition that emerges is this is in line with what?
[31:37]With the holy Quran and it is very much accepted.
[31:42]Now when it comes to therefore it does not in many opinions
[31:47]of the school of refer to resurrection it refers to what question
[31:55]how do we know and the answer is through numerous narrations that
[32:00]exist in both Sunni and Shia books that point to this being
[32:05]given to the imam and here I'll mention two or three in
[32:10]order for us to have an understanding ing of this in the
[32:17]battle of a man by the name of what?
[32:18]By the name of or somebody who came out and he kept
[32:24]saying with his sword.
[32:27]He said he started to recite this.
[32:33]All of a sudden one man came forward and said to him,
[32:36]"I will fight you.
[32:39]Stop reciting the Quran in this way.
[32:41]says, "No, no, wait, wait.
[32:45]Let me speak to him." He comes out and he says to
[32:50]him, "Do you know this that you're talking about that people are
[32:58]deferring overall?" No, I don't know.
[33:00]I don't know what this this great tiding, great news is.
[33:03]Listen to what Iam says.
[33:07]This hadith this narration is found in and a number of other
[33:10]books.
[33:11]He says im says by Allah I am the that you defer
[33:25]about and you have disagreement over my will and you accepted my
[33:37]will but now you've gone back against it.
[33:44]I saved you through my sword.
[33:48]Now because of your animosity against me, you will perish.
[33:53]And on the day of you were told that I [Music] am
[34:02]that on the day of you will know that I am this
[34:07]particular title.
[34:09]Yes.
[34:09]Then he lifted his sword over his head.
[34:13]That is one particular narration.
[34:15]Another one is from the holy prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam.
[34:25]Once he says to The prophet of Islam says to Ali, you
[34:47]are the gate of Allah.
[34:51]You are the path to Allah.
[34:52]You are the great news.
[34:54]You are the and you are the best example that people look
[35:00]up to.
[35:03]Yes.
[35:01]Similarly comes forward and says what and this is narration from the
[35:06]holy sixth IM someone came to him and said to him or
[35:08]the fifth IM he said to him about he said to him
[35:12]what is the are asking you about who is he says I
[35:18]will tell them first of all let me tell He says there
[35:34]is nothing for Allah a sign that is greater than me and
[35:39]there is nothing that Allah has bought as great news that is
[35:43]bigger than me that is declaring that he is what he is
[35:49]and that's Why in there is a beautiful z of im that
[35:53]is recited on the day of our 10th holy imi this he
[36:06]it is from the im in this we find that the im
[36:16]send to by using this title likewise dua lift it Ah yes.
[36:37]The holy 12th I im recognizes this title belongs to and only.
[36:45]Now there are a few other points that I'd like to draw
[36:50]your attention before we end.
[36:51]I'd like you to focus because they are technical.
[36:56]Number one, why does the Quran says not in Arabic is different
[37:04]is not the same as they say this is meaning that this
[37:13]meaning there is so much dispute and dissension and disagreement over it
[37:20]that people do not want to accept it.
[37:23]constantly want to reject it.
[37:27]Yes, there is a lot of discussion regarding it.
[37:30]I ask you is there a lot of discussion about the day
[37:35]of do people have much dis disagreement about the day of judgment?
[37:42]Not really.
[37:41]When the Quran [Music] says Muslims all of them agree upon the
[37:48]day of and if you talk about non-Muslims many also believe about
[37:55]the day of and those who disbelieve the Quran tells us they
[37:59]were very much establishing that there is no day of so there
[38:06]is no discussion there is no if or but so the idea
[38:08]that it is in reference to day of is not supported by
[38:14]the second is what the next ayah after it.
[38:26]Please understand this two ayat so that you can appreciate why is
[38:32]it established that it is in reference to the commander of the
[38:36]faithful.
[38:37]The word in Arabic is in reference to al meaning to what?
[38:46]To reprimand, to scold, to rebuke.
[38:50]Allah waala here says that the number one feeling or idea that
[38:57]emerges immediately when this is known is that these there are group
[39:01]of people who will reject him and there will be a group
[39:06]of people will accept him.
[39:06]So those group of people who accept him will see the benefits.
[39:13]Those who reject him will see the punishment.
[39:14][Music] That's the first understanding.
[39:20]Meaning what?
[39:19]There will be a group who are the lovers of Ali and
[39:23]they will see the benefits of the love of Ali.
[39:27]And there will be a group who are the enemies of Ali
[39:28]and they will feel the punishment of being the enemies of Ali.
[39:34]That's why the holy prophet of Islam famously comes forward and says
[39:43]that the sign of whether an individual is a believer or a
[39:49]hypocrite is the love of that's the first thing the second thing
[39:53]is why does the Quran says this is technical I'd like you
[40:02]to understand There is a difference between and knowledge and certainty.
[40:10]Knowledge is what you and I learn from a book or we
[40:14]listen.
[40:15]Y is something that exists in our hearts.
[40:19]Do you agree?
[40:22]I have certainty about something.
[40:23]I have conviction about something.
[40:26]There is a difference between knowing something and having deep recognition and
[40:33]what an understanding of an that thing.
[40:38]Today you and I as the Shia as believers we may know
[40:40]something but it's not the same as having about something.
[40:47]Please understand look at Hussein the soil of the grave of Abdah
[40:51]the soil of Kbalah.
[40:51]You and I know that it is a cause of shifa for
[40:56]illness.
[40:57]It's a means of attaining well-being and health when people are going
[41:04]through ailments and diseases.
[41:04]Do you agree?
[41:06]But there is a difference between somebody who knows this and somebody
[41:13]who has that he does.
[41:13]In which way?
[41:16]Our six imbu says what will make this of Hussein not work
[41:35]is the weakness of the belief of someone who takes it.
[41:42]Then he says, then he says somebody who has it will help
[41:56]them.
[41:54]It will indeed definitely help them and give them shif by the
[42:01]permission of Allahh.
[42:00]Now somebody might say I have conviction that when I take this
[42:06]soil of Hussein's grave and I have a bit of it if
[42:07]I'm sick it will give me cure.
[42:10]But it doesn't.
[42:10]Sometimes there are other factors that play.
[42:13]Sometimes Allah subhana wa ta'ala has his own decree.
[42:15]But if we put that aside and if there is a potential
[42:18]for this ta of imus to make a difference, what the difference
[42:22]between it making a shifa take place or not is the conviction
[42:28]that the believer that the person taking it that it will definitely
[42:34]help me.
[42:33]And so when the Quran says One beautiful or understanding of it
[42:45]is there are some who believe in the im of through and
[42:52]knowledge.
[42:54]There are those who believe in the of Ali through and conviction.
[42:59]It's different.
[43:01]There are those who have superficial im and what and belief in
[43:06]the of therefore easily they will fall.
[43:10]And there are those who when you search their hearts you'll see
[43:16]written in it embedded in it stitched in it that you will
[43:20]not separate my soul from the will of therefore the Quran comes
[43:30]forward and says there is a difference when you have a that
[43:38]is just in the tongue But you have a of like and
[43:43]you have of Ali like and these of and those who came
[43:52]after them that of Ali is inseparable because when that said to
[44:00]what did he say to him he said I will now execute
[44:05]you mamm said that's exactly what my master said you will do.
[44:08]He said therefore I will do the opposite of what your master.
[44:12]He said they will not be able to.
[44:14]He said watch me.
[44:14]Then he placed him on that tree and what wrapped him on
[44:17]that tree at that moment because it's not only in the tongue.
[44:22]It's deep in his essence he spoke the Ali to the extent
[44:28]that could not any longer tolerate him and indeed martyed him.
[44:33]That is the true and which means what?
[44:36]when I am in a difficult position, when I am in a
[44:42]very tough moment, whether to follow the commands of the Amir or
[44:48]to go against him, I choose that which highlights what's in my
[44:53]heart, isn't it?
[44:52]I choose the belief in im and the belief in.
[44:56]And that's why the final point that we must emphasize is no
[45:03]doubt.
[45:04]But how how does it manifest in so many ways?
[45:10]Ali is the glad tidings in bravery.
[45:13]Ali is the glad tidings and news in justice.
[45:18]Ali is in eloquence.
[45:18]Ali is in spirituality and is in dedication and servitude of Allah.
[45:27]Ali is in being the closest to Allah.
[45:35]Ali is that nobody can marry other than him.
[45:37]Ali is that he is a that on the day of he
[45:48]is the differentiator between Jenna and Ali is because of the fact
[45:55]that he established the rules of correct mannerism and when it came
[46:03]to and forgiveness is and because to look at Ali He is
[46:08]and to mention him is as the prophet says he is Quran
[46:13]and he is he is justice and he is the truth is
[46:18]in every goodness of Allah subhana tala and therefore remember this if
[46:27]someone wants to summarize this man it will not be possible but
[46:31]one thing that is a greatest thing that can be spoken about
[46:35]in today's world is that is a man who is for all
[46:41]humanity he is he embodied this servant of Allah who loved Allah
[46:51]so much that he served his creation he served the creation of
[46:57]Allah in every way today if you want to speak to the
[47:01]world about speak about the fact that he was the embodiment and
[47:05]was oozing the love for humanity and to serve others.
[47:10]When he sees a Christian begging in the streets of Kufa, he
[47:13]says, "Why is this man begging?
[47:14]Take him and give him from Beth Mal." When he is at
[47:20]Safi and the army of Muawia does not have water yet few
[47:23]days ago they had kept the water away from the army of
[47:28]Ali.
[47:28]He says, "No, feed them water.
[47:30]Give them water." Yes.
[47:30]When he writes to Malik, he says to him, make sure you
[47:38]remember, oh, either your brother in faith or your equal in humanity.
[47:47]This is a man we embodied that servitude, that love towards whom?
[47:53]Towards the creation of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
[48:00]1,46 years ago he was martyed.
[48:07]Yet until today and until the day of Py the love of
[48:14]Ali intensifies in the hearts of people imagine usually with time it
[48:20]diminishes.
[48:21]Usually with time people's association weakens.
[48:25]Today when we hear the mass of the commander of the faithful,
[48:32]our hearts break.
[48:32]We are sorrowful.
[48:35]We go through grief.
[48:35]Imagine those who had to see the ma before their own eyes.
[48:42]There is one thing hearing about it in a maj or reading
[48:47]it in a book and another saying in such a state before
[48:52]you on a night like this.
[48:59]The commander of the faithful in Kufa was in the house of
[49:03]he knew this is the night.
[49:06]He looks at the heavens and says, "This is the night when
[49:13]he was about to break his fast.
[49:17]His beloved daughter gave him some dates, some water, and some salt."
[49:21]He said to her, "My beloved daughter, tonight I will only break
[49:26]my fast with some salt and some water.
[49:30]That's it.
[49:32]Only two things." And he began to remember Allah.
[49:36]spend the night in the remembrance of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
[49:39]And during the night, he fell asleep for a few moments.
[49:42]When he fell asleep for a few moments, he woke up and
[49:46]summoned some of the family members.
[49:48]He said to them, "I have just seen my brother Allah who
[49:52]said to me, you are coming towards us.
[49:59]We are waiting for you.
[50:00]Indeed, it is the time that I will be joining." The family
[50:04]began to cry.
[50:06]The family began to weep recognizing that this night is not going
[50:09]to be like any other night.
[50:12]The rewire says that woke up a few hours or a long
[50:19]time before fur in remembrance of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala preparing himself
[50:22]for such a night.
[50:24]When he was about to leave the house, there were a number
[50:30]of birds that tried to stop him.
[50:32]The rewire says they began to flap their wings.
[50:33]Yes.
[50:34]Then he says, "Subhan Allah, even the creation of Allah is stopping
[50:40]me from leaving the house." He is about to leave the house.
[50:43]His outer garment, his cloak is caught on the door of the
[50:46]house.
[50:47]He then lifts it and walks towards the says he began to
[50:56]awaken people who are asleep in order to invite them to perform
[51:00]the salah.
[51:01]one after the other until he reached.
[51:05]When he saw him, he saw this wretched man sleeping on his
[51:13]stomach.
[51:14]He had the poison sword under his stomach.
[51:16]Wakes him up, tries to wake him up.
[51:19]Then he says to him, "You will commit one of the most
[51:25]heinous crimes that will shake the heavens." Then he walks towards masid
[51:29]in Kufa.
[51:31]When he walks towards masid in Kufa, he recites the adan the
[51:36]final time that the Muslims in Kufa they will hear the adan
[51:44]from the beautiful voice of Ali when he recites Allahbar until he
[51:49]reaches when he reaches the point they begin to come towards the
[51:56]mosque Now he is reciting the salah.
[52:04]He's standing there to recite the prayers.
[52:05]The says when is praying his prayers tonight each and every one
[52:15]of us our hearts are in next to that there is a
[52:20]man who cries like no other.
[52:24]The says when that man was placed soon three days into poison
[52:36]crept behind him and struck the head of Ali and split the
[52:45]head.
[52:46]That moment said, "I have made it gain victory by the Lord
[53:01]of the heavens made a cry.
[53:04]This place the kufa could now hear the cries.
[53:29]I'm at that moment leads the prayers.
[53:36]Imm with blood dripping down his head.
[53:41]Finishes the salah.
[53:40]They come to pain.
[53:43]They place him on their shoulders.
[53:45]Imm Hassan is lifting him.
[53:47]Some narration says Imm Hussein on the other side.
[53:52]Now slowly they are walking back to the house of Amir.
[53:55]Imagine that sight.
[53:57]How did I im Hassan and Imam Hussein look at their beloved
[54:01]father in such a manner?
[54:04]essence.
[54:05]When I imm Why Why do you want to walk around in
[54:25]the house without us helping you?
[54:30]He said, "I don't want to see my daughter Zam's heart broken.
[54:34]I don't want her to see you carrying me." Allahbar, his heart
[54:43]is with Zanab.
[54:45]He's worried about Zanab.
[54:46]He's concerned that Zanab's heart is not broken on a night like
[54:52]this.
[54:52]We tell you, I wish you were there to see [Music] what
[55:00]I wish.
[55:03]Because on that night of tell us when fell asleep for a
[55:13]few moments in her dream, she saw one child of Hussein missing.
[55:17]She went out on the on the wall on the plains of
[55:23]Kbala looking left and right.
[55:24]Then she saw a man carrying a young child.
[55:28]She came close to the man and the man was covered.
[55:30]She looked at him and said, "Oh man, may Allah reward you.
[55:41]This is the team of Hussein.
[55:43]I will ask my father Ali on the day of to intercede
[55:50]for you.
[55:52]You have protected the orphan of Hussein.
[55:54]Very wise says that that man came down from his horse.
[55:59]He played the child on the ground.
[56:01]Then he came walking towards then he raised his head and said,
[56:09]"I am your father Ali.
[56:13]Tell me, tell me what happened today in Zab says, "I wish
[56:22]you were there to see what I saw on the plains of
[56:30]I lost my and I lost your son." They shot an arrow
[56:43]on his eyes and they seven his right and left.
[56:48]Your grandson has a arrow in his throat.
[56:52]I had to carry him.
[56:55]I had to take him to his mother.
[56:58]I wish you saw the pain that us women had to go
[57:06]through.
[57:07]But oh father, there is one that the poet says that Zam
[57:10]found it hard to tell her father.
[57:17]She says, "Father, father forgive me one but I cannot say much."
[57:22]And I wish nobody saw but I saw father I saw Shim
[57:29]walk towards Hel.
[57:28]Father I saw him kick the chest of Hel.
[57:32]that I saw him sit on the chest of Allah tonight as
[58:14]we gather here and remember the we ask Allah subhana wa ta'ala
[58:22]to raise us on the day of with we ask Allah subhana
[58:25]ta to grant us the opportunity to perform this y of the
[58:28]shrine of sometime soon.
[58:32]Ya Allah.
[58:33]Ya Allah.
[58:32]There are many who are suffering around the world.
[58:36]Our sisters and brothers in Gaza, they've gone through another huge catastrophic
[58:43]loss of life over 400 of innocent men, women, and children have
[58:47]been slaughtered over the last day or two.
[58:50]Ya Allah, alleviate their suffering.
[58:52]Alleviate the suffering of and to all around the world.
[58:57]All those who are going through pain and oppression, ya Allah, give
[59:03]them respite, ya Allah.
[59:03]The of fulfill all the on these holy nights, ya Allah.
[59:08]Grant Shiva to all those who are sick, hasted their appearance of
[59:14]our 12th imam and make us of his devout and sincere followers.
[59:19]Alhamdulillah.
