[34:42]after Hijra is the day when the commencement of kubra that is

[35:05]of around 70 years of which is the minor occultation so for

[35:12]1,000 more than 1,000 years we as the umah and part of

[35:18]the Shia Muslim Community are part of that umah witnessing the moments

[35:25]of the and it befits us to remind us of our responsibilities

[35:27]during the this moment ofra where one of the major duties is

[35:32]for us to pray for farage for the Hadith mentioned to us

[35:37]that in praying for the farage there is going to be farage

[35:41]for us there's going to be delivery and relief for us so

[35:44]M may I request that as we commence our M for tonight

[35:50]especially on this night which is coinciding with and also coinciding with

[35:55]the 10th of shaal the commencement of the moments of kubra to

[37:19]Shah Ramadan and there is a Dua which we commonly call is

[37:23]Dua number two from the green book The Dua which starts with

[37:26]Allah a Dua which is recommended to be recited in the month

[37:34]of Ramadan after every prayer we rep to Allah subhah wa ta'ala

[37:37]that he accepts our little participation in the of Shah Ramadan and

[37:44]enable us insh Allah to get the to to be able to

[37:45]use all that recharging of our NS all the way to the

[37:52]next Shah Ramadan inshallah in that Dua Dua number two the line

[37:55]which says Allah we are praying to Allah subhah wa ta'ala oh

[38:03]Allah please give to that is the Dwellers of the graves the

[38:11]inhabitants of the Grave the deceased people give them that pleasure give

[38:17]them that happiness give them that state of smile and that state

[38:21]of Joy wherever they are in that abort of the graves as

[38:25]such this is a Dua which we have pray to Allah subhana

[38:29]and as for every Dua it requires us to be able to

[38:35]also put that Dua into action whilst we have commended this Dua

[38:39]we have handed over this Dua to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala asking

[38:45]Allah to grant that joy and pleasure to the to those who

[38:48]have passed away there is also a duty and a responsibility for

[38:54]us to be able to as we say walk the talk put

[38:57]into practice what we have asked from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala before

[39:00]we go into that aspect I would like you to just give

[39:06]a thought that when we make the Dua oh Allah enter that

[39:14]happiness enter that joy into the Dwellers of the Grave what are

[39:18]the thoughts which come into our mind that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

[39:21]will be doing to enter that suru to enter that happiness and

[39:28]joy into in the inhabitants of the Grave so already you had

[39:37]some thoughts in your mind that this would be a possible response

[39:43]of the Dua can you share with me what are the thought

[39:46]in your mind what would be possible response of Allah subhah wa

[39:50]ta'ala for the Dua somebody help me out if we pray to

[40:07]Allah subhana wa ta'ala for example that I would like to have

[40:09]good health then we know that the response is I will see

[40:11]that there's going to be change from the state in I am

[40:14]to be responded with greater good health when I say Allah subhah

[40:17]wa ta'ala give joy give happiness to the what is it I

[40:22]have in mind that Allah is going to bring about that joy

[40:23]and happiness sorry Elevate the station so as we say from economic

[40:32]class to other class I don't know in what are the classes

[40:37]but I'm sure when you say Elevate the station that is what

[40:40]you're meaning isn't it from the class there you want to give

[40:41]them upgrades with the miles which they collected in this world inshallah

[40:48]so that is one thing we ask one response could be that

[40:50]Allah is inshallah going to elevate their status what is another thing

[40:53]which can happen in response to our Dua sorry Allah will re

[41:02]forgive them that punishment all right probably save that punishment or at

[41:06]times suspend that punishment for a while we have seen Hadith which

[41:10]talks about if a person does a deed that effect of the

[41:14]deed goes to that parent and he suspends that punishment for that

[41:16]while so it could be forgive that punishment or suspend that punishment

[41:21]for a while what else do you think can come Allah subhanahu

[41:34]wa ta'ala can increase forgiveness of the sins for that person in

[41:38]addition to saving that punishment he increases that forgiveness for that person

[41:43]and that person we see a Hadith mentioning to us that those

[41:47]people in that the people who are in that area or in

[41:52]that barrier of Separation some of them get that opportunity to be

[41:56]able to visit their relatives in a much more comfortable status and

[42:00]they get that opportunity we even pray so for example the parents

[42:04]prayers is still effective for us after they have passed away we

[42:09]got different which talk about these things so these are some ideas

[42:12]where we see that Allah subhana would be responding to our Dua

[42:20]tonight insh and also the night on which we would like to

[42:25]observe the occasion of Y or I would like to now dwell

[42:33]on some few points of action for us as to how we

[42:38]can do our deed to be able to utilize that to give

[42:41]suru to give happiness to the to the Dwellers of the grave

[42:48]and thereafter inshallah to link it to the occasion for which we

[42:52]are also celebrate observing and that is the the inshah so muham

[43:03]mmad in the name of Thea I have tried to select five

[43:09]deeds from the numerous Deeds from the numerous actions which a person

[43:15]can do to be able to bring about Sur to be able

[43:16]to bring about happiness joy to thein to the Dwellers of the

[44:51]of reflection is that we all know that when we are greeting

[44:59]Salam when the Imam is telling us definitely there is a message

[45:01]which is giving to us that there is going to be a

[45:05]response from these dwellers of the Grave this itself makes us realize

[45:10]that there's a relationship which we enjoy with the people who are

[45:13]no longer physically with us a very important point and a very

[45:17]significant point for us to understand that unlike the majority people in

[45:23]The Wider world who think that the relation is stopped once there

[45:25]is no longer that physical what do you say presence of that

[45:30]person and we can just carry on with our lives as such

[45:32]is not there we are still linked with the Believers with the

[45:37]m and especially with our family members the relatives who have become

[45:40]lesson is that we are being asked to do that Salam so

[45:46]one there's a response number two it shows to us that there

[45:48]is also the significance for us to continue maintaining that relationship and

[45:54]the third benefit which he gets in continuing maintaining the relationship makes

[45:58]us constantly realize the reality of life that this is where we

[46:06]are going to end and this is what is going to be

[46:11]the situation however much high flying what do you say arrogant or

[46:17]enthusiastic or what what do we say ambitious that person can be

[46:22]in his in his mortal life over here but the reality is

[46:25]that he is going to be where we see those people who

[46:28]are now in Need for people to even come and give them

[46:35]point which I would like to share with you with regards to

[46:37]putting into action in giving that joy and pleasure to the mammad

[46:44]Ali Muhammad the second action which is told to us is when

[46:52]you visit the graveyard is to recite seven times our Muhammad is

[47:07]now explaining to us in what Manner to recite that times the

[47:14]Imam is explaining to the companion telling him that when you visit

[47:18]the graves of the brothers from among the M that means when

[47:22]you visit the grav of This Place Your Hands on the grave

[47:26]face the then recite seven times what will happen as a result

[47:38]of that you will be safe from the from that day when

[47:41]there is going to be the great Terror the great fright which

[47:44]is the day of the day of Resurrection so not only the

[47:51]Imam is mentioning to us the method of reciting Surah seven times

[47:54]in being able to place your hand on the grave facing towards

[47:57]the recite that the benefit of that is going to be that

[48:03]on the day of where there is going to be great Terror

[48:05]and fear on that day which is the day of you're going

[48:10]to be relieved of that situation you're going to be really safeguarded

[48:13]from that very terrible moments as such so again here this is

[48:21]the second point for us to utilize in being able to put

[48:23]into action in bringing that Sur in bringing that pleasure and happiness

[48:30]to the because you can realize that not only that moment of

[48:34]sakar was a moment of Terror for that M thereafter when that

[48:39]m is taken to the graveyard and left all alone and put

[48:42]into that that that the grave as such is added Terror and

[49:39]graveyard and he dedicates the theab of that recital to the deceased

[49:43]in that graveyard so you can imagine so many deceased in the

[49:45]graveyard you're just present in that graveyard and you recite aat and

[49:49]dedicate that for all the in the graveyard what happens Allah Allah

[49:58]the Noble and the elevated is going to create an angel for

[50:03]all the letters of ayat so imagine starts with Allah Allah itself

[50:08]five letters now I leave it for you to go and count

[50:14]out all the letters in from that will give you the number

[50:23]of Angels were created for recital of one what is the work

[50:27]of that angs who are going to be created not one Angel

[50:29]those numerous Angels their work is going to be that up till

[50:35]the day ofama these angels will do the Tas of Allah subhanahu

[50:39]wa ta'ala they'll be glorifying Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and the theab

[50:43]will go to the person who has recited the ayat intention is

[50:50]to visit the graveyard to give a gift happiness to the deceased

[50:55]in doing that Allah subhana wa ta'ala is also rewarding that person

[51:01]himself in this creation of angels equal to the number of the

[51:06]letters in the who will be staying to do the Tas of

[51:08]Allah subhah wa ta'ala till the day of the and theab goes

[51:14]to that person now you must be asking then what is the

[51:21]for the we have got the what is for the link this

[51:24]now to the fourth tip and you'll see the which comes in

[51:28]the recital ofy and in aith which is recorded in the book

[51:39]by K he says that if someone recites seven times we mentioned

[51:48]the second tip second seven times the first tip and thereafter next

[51:52]to the Grave when he does that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will

[51:55]send an angel to the grave to worship Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

[52:01]the previous Hadith was that that angels are going to be in

[52:03]the number of the letters and they will do of Allah and

[52:08]the recital is going to get the theab now there's going to

[52:10]be a role of another Angel whom Allah subhah wa ta'ala will

[52:12]send next to the Grave who will carry out I of Allah

[52:16]subhah wa ta'ala imagine the maum the angels are sinless they are

[52:23]the ones who will be designated by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala next

[52:26]to the Grave to carry out I of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

[52:28]and the reward for that I will be registered not only for

[52:34]the person who is recited but for the dead person in that

[52:39]grave over there then this will continue till that that M who

[52:45]has been buried in that grave is resurrected on the day of

[52:49]and that person is going to be protected from the terror and

[52:55]the shock and the Fright of the day of not only that

[52:59]but that angel who had been created doing that I for the

[53:02]rest of the life of that angel till the day of that

[53:04]angel is not going to leave company of that Mar till he

[53:09]accompanies him into jna then continues in that Hadith where he says

[53:17]that now when you visit the grave of the Believers that is

[53:23]in addition to doing this recital of of ayat Kursi whose benefits

[53:28]we have been mentioned he says now recite once and seven times

[53:36]is each of them three times three times and three times so

[53:45]you can imagine the compound of the benefits and I'm repeating visitation

[53:50]previous Hadith told us that the number of the letters is the

[53:54]number of the angels will be created who will continue doing the

[53:59]Tas this Hadi tells us that the angel will be created as

[54:03]a result of reciting the who will do the will go not

[54:07]only to the person reciting but also to the till the day

[54:10]of protect him from the Fright of that day accompany him to

[54:17]the jenah and then he says increas in recitation F once seven

[54:24]times three times each three times and three times so here is

[54:33]another tip that is the fourth tip for us to put into

[55:14]the dark and he went out in Madina his wife Aisha saw

[55:33]returned she told Aisha that I saw him going towards that Valley

[55:40]which is known as is the name of a tree which is

[55:49]the Box tree Cactus like Tony Tree in that Valle which is

[55:53]today we respectfully call it as J Baki the heaven of baki

[55:56]so that well this slave is reporting to AA that I saw

[56:04]him going to that place he waited for a while over there

[56:07]then he raised his hands as if was doing his prayers he

[56:10]turned around and came back home in the morning Aisha asked the

[56:15]prophet she's asking her husband Yol Allah oh the messenger of Allah

[56:23]where did you go out last night so Allah said I was

[56:32]Saint as we all know that the prophet does not speak does

[56:37]not do any deed except with the permission of except with the

[56:40]permission of Allah subhah wa ta'ala so this deed of him going

[56:45]out at night he explains to say that I was sent last

[56:47]night to the Bak that is that graveyard over there and there

[56:53]I was asked to pray for them and thereafter it is narrated

[56:58]in the Traditions both in the sunah books and in our our

[57:01]books also that it would be the practice of the Prophet whenever

[57:03]he would pass by that area that graveyard he would stand over

[57:12]there he would greet them saying peace be upon you oh the

[57:20]people the Dwellers of the Believers we God willing are sure going

[57:26]to be joining you oh Allah have have mercy upon the Dwellers

[57:37]of Bak so this was a tradition which the prophet was following

[57:41]throughout even the final moments of his life he carried out a

[57:47]final Z to go to the to this that is the graveyard

[57:52]of the Bak to again pray for them to pass the greetings

[57:54]to them and pray for them so the fifth point is for

[57:59]us to be able to not only visit to do Salam but

[58:04]the same time to ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala for forgiveness of

[58:08]the so as a summary in our discussion tonight being the night

[58:15]of we looked at that lineu Ya Allah we ask you please

[58:24]Grant happiness and joy and Delight to the Dwellers of the grave

[58:27]at Five Points from the Hadith where the first point is conveying

[58:33]the Salam to them the second recital ofah seven times the third

[58:38]recital of aat once the fourth recital ofah seven times three times

[58:46]each three times each and three times each and the fifth one

[58:52]is the tradition of the Prophet after doing the Salam to ask

[58:55]Allah subhana waa for the for forgiveness of the Dwellers of the

[58:59]graveyard so from these Five Points we can see that M very

[59:05]small points as such but very heavy in the world of spiritual

[59:14]rewards from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala not only for the person who

[59:18]carries out this deed but also for the the Dwellers of the

[59:23]Grave we pray to Allah subhah wa ta'ala on this night Ya

[59:26]Allah pray to you out of your out of abundant generosity and

[59:32]and forgiveness by the of the for all Ya Allah and especially

[59:39]for the and from our family members Ya Allah we pray to

[59:42]you grant them that that forgiveness in Elevate their standards Muhammad Muhammad

[59:53]so M linking in now to the fth point which I mentioned

[60:01]was the prophet was visiting that graveyard which is called in the

[60:07]publication of tomorrow we will be having more details with regards to

[60:11]J which we respectfully today called as J Bak as the heaven

[60:19]of Bak this occasion of Y or the day of Sorrow is

[60:25]observed throughout the Shia World especially within our kja community alhamdulillah our

[60:33]forefathers out of their wisdom have made it a very important part

[60:35]of all the other observations or commemorations which you have in our

[60:41]calendar the 8th of shaah 99 years from today that is from

[60:47]the 8th of shawah in the year 1345 after Hijra which coincided

[60:52]with the 21st of April 1925 the the first king of the

[61:00]Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by the name of Abdullah Abdul aiz bin

[61:03]Saud under the guidance of Muhammad bin Abdul wahab who considered himself

[61:07]to be a Revival a mujadid of Islam at that time and

[61:13]the salafi or the wahhabi scholars they guided and under that guidance

[61:18]he ordered for the bombardment the demolition of the Sacred shrines in

[61:23]janat Baki in Madina thereafter within that same year he again ordered

[61:29]for the demolition of the Sacred G of the Sacred sites or

[61:33]graves in J in Makkah in inshah there are more details which

[61:40]are mentioned about the personalities who are buried over there m in

[61:46]these 99 years which are mentioning this was not the first time

[61:50]or it is not the only time when this Saudi regime carried

[61:58]out this desecration of the Sacred shrines the desecration of the Sacred

[62:02]shrines started from the time 1924 the very clan of Saudi Arabia

[62:12]in 1924 as a group as a tribal group of BNS nji

[62:14]what do you say Raiders they invaded Makkah and Madina and carried

[62:21]out decretion in 1924 thereafter sorry the first one was carried out

[62:26]not in 1934 the first one was carried out in 1218 so

[62:31]you can imagine it's not even 100 years but more than that

[62:35]in 1218 then the second was carried out the next year 1221

[62:38]2 years after the 3 years after that in 1221 the third

[62:44]one for which we are observing y today or the eth of

[62:46]shaal was in 19 the third one was 1924 and then the

[62:51]1925 was again the demolition of jat baki and some of these

[62:55]were so horri iic that they would carry out not only the

[63:01]bombardment of the Sacred shrines in Madina but it even cost the

[63:05]loss of lives innocent people in Madina and there's a Hadith of

[63:11]the Prophet which talks about I'm paraphrasing that had where he says

[63:15]that may Allah give L to those who create Terror to those

[63:18]who hurt the people of Madina and when these n rulers went

[63:26]out to raid the J and espe in J Bak Madina They

[63:28]carried out Terror to such an extent that a number of women

[63:33]and children were innocently killed and disrespectful Deeds were done to some

[63:38]of them these are the records of the type or the amount

[63:40]of blood and crimes which the r the so ruling regime in

[63:44]Saudi Arabia has on its hands now M We Must Be Wondering

[63:50]is it important for us to observe this date on our calendar

[63:53]as I mentioned to you it is the wisdom of our for

[63:56]mothers that this date is there on our calendar just imagine for

[63:59]once if this date was not on our calendar what would have

[64:02]happen the crimes which thei has done we would see J Bak

[64:07]the way it is and we might think that this is what

[64:10]it was from that time as such so it is important for

[64:13]us to observe this day not only to constantly remind ourselves of

[64:18]the personalities Lives who had been desec whose Graves have been desecrated

[64:24]the personalities of buried in in J Madina and the personality worried

[64:30]in J makah but also at the same time to be able

[64:32]to remember the secred places these are there if they would have

[64:38]had it in their way the way the Saudi Kingdom continues under

[64:42]the guise of expansion and modernization so many other sites have just

[64:46]been raised out to the ground and replaced by other types of

[64:50]buildings coming to them they they would have had their way much

[64:52]more would have been done than what we are seeing today it

[64:55]is only because of the awareness which is being created Perhaps it
