[18:24]the auspicious occasion of the birth of the savior of Humanity the

[18:32]of Allah subhah wa taala the our beloved IM I take this

[18:57]ear opportunity on behalf of myself and together with you to extend

[19:02]our to the the mother of the IMs and that is none

[19:09]other [Music] than and together with her we extend the to the

[19:27]to our the exalted Mar and the the noble Scholars and to

[19:37]all including yourselves Muhammad Ali [Music] muhamad M last night we participated

[19:50]in the of may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala out of his choicest

[19:57]Rah and accept our devot inshallah and grant us abundance of reward

[20:02]for our little efforts which we have tried to do and may

[20:08]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala give us a to to be able to

[20:10]witness these days again inshallah in the of we started off with

[20:22]the Dua of and you really recall that Dua was a gift

[20:25]presented by presented by m to one of his very close companions

[20:33]what was the name of that companion the one to whom this

[20:43]Dua was presented Kum Kum and the Dua is commonly known as

[20:52]du Kum so Kum in addition to what we hear from him

[20:56]with regards to the Dua M we also have got a story

[21:02]from his lifetime where he tells us about the living Imam of

[21:08]our time as narrated to him from none other than our Master

[21:19]Kum says that one of the days he was with M andir

[21:25]took him by his hand and they walked together till they reach

[21:32]close to the end of the town at that moment M addressed

[21:36]him in a long conversation and part of that conversation which is

[21:43]relevant for us today is what I would like to share with

[21:45]you tells him oh know that certainly the Earth will never remain

[21:57]without a huah there is never going to be a time when

[22:01]this Earth will ever be without a person who is the authority

[22:07]a person divinely appointed by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala representing that Authority

[22:13]and then Amir tells him that this H so this gives us

[22:19]an indication of what is that qualification or characteristic of that type

[22:25]of person tells him this person who is going to be a

[22:29]huah is one who will stand who will be appointed by Allah

[22:35]subhanahu wa ta'ala and by the authority of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

[22:39]from here by itself if you are to unpack it it tells

[22:44]us that the way Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has Authority Upon Us

[22:49]likewise every other moment when there is going to be a h

[22:55]upon us the role of that huah is such that you and

[22:59]I in our obedience to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala likewise our role

[23:03]in The Obedience to the huah would be similar in that way

[23:07]because that huah has been appointed by none other than the Divine

[23:15]Authority Allah subhanahu wa taal and that huah stands up as a

[23:18]result of the Authority for that which calls upon us to give

[23:21]that Authority and submission to the huah of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

[23:26]in one of the pr mjes on the occasion of the of

[23:31]the IM we had talked about the Hadith whereby the importance of

[23:39]having a h is very much significant and very much critical for

[23:42]the earth and the universe to continue and survive in the Hadith

[23:46]which had shared at that time we mentioned what the have told

[23:51]to us that if there would be even a single moment when

[23:54]there is going to be no h on this Earth there is

[23:57]going to be disastrous effect on on the Earth by itself and

[24:00]likewise we saw in where we read that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

[24:07]has created all this universe which is a Sak a gift which

[24:10]we are enjoying as a result of the love which he has

[24:14]for the what the B not present over there whom would have

[24:20]been gift been given to them you and I are beneficiaries of

[24:22]the gift for which Allah subhah wa ta'ala has created and we

[24:26]are the ones who are enjoying this gift to us so it

[24:30]is the Sunnah the tradition of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala right from

[24:35]the first human being in mankind and that is allaham Alam thereafter

[24:41]Alam and thereafter following the other prophets which come after Alam where

[24:47]we find that the prophets ibraim is Ish yob Zakaria and D

[24:55]isaam Allah subhah wa ta'ala grant them mercy and blessings upon all

[25:04]of them and finally we came to the H Muhammed every other

[25:14]moment mankind has had the presence of a huah during the time

[25:18]of the huah that is our final Prophet is when he again

[25:24]by the authority of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala mentions about the 12

[25:29]gu the 12 khif or the 12 who will come after him

[25:34]and tonight inshallah in our humble contribution and participation of the V

[25:42]of the final H we will try to look at our belief

[25:49]in the final huah with regards to its alignment with the Quran

[25:53]for M questions can be asked that as a Muslim how can

[26:00]and we be able to stand up and defend ourselves and be

[26:03]able to convince ourselves and likewise have conversations with others with regards

[26:09]to the belief which we have in regards to the final huah

[26:22]Im so within the little time which you have left with us

[26:27]our discussion tonight is going to be with regard regards to our

[26:30]belief and answer from the Quran what is the huah what is

[26:36]the proof in the Quran with regards to the existence of the

[26:39]final huah and that is Imam al- Mahi right from ancient times

[26:46]this question has been there and we find that there is a

[26:50]prominent scholar a mufas one who is a renowned exit of the

[26:56]Quran a mad one who has the authority to to be able

[26:59]to transmit and record the Traditions the Hadith of our beloved prophet

[27:06]and the a theologian and a by the name of Alama Hashim

[27:11]alahani who had comp compiled an ancient manual which till today is

[27:18]being utilized as a reference in the circles of theza and that

[27:23]manual is called the book is called the Clear Proof regarding what

[27:34]was revealed about Al so in this book we find that the

[27:47]renowned scholar has recorded at least 120 verses of the Quran 120

[27:56]ayat of the Quran which can be utilized as a as a

[28:01]proof in a conversation or as a debate with regards to the

[28:07]belief in the 12th IM and especially with regards to the belief

[28:10]of the final and that is our beloved IM Al so we'll

[28:22]start of inshallah with the first verse of the Ayah from Surah

[28:28]Surah number 13 Ayah number seven with which we had com commenced

[28:33]our Mist this evening Allah subhah wa ta'ala says this is an

[28:39]address to the prophet telling him that oh Prophet indeed you are

[28:42]a you are a Warner and for every people there is a

[28:50]guide for every people so we have a Hadith which tells us

[28:56]from our six IM with regards to this Ayah with the prophet

[29:07]said he placed his hand on his chest and he said this

[29:13]as he said this he said telling the people that I am

[29:17]the m i Am The Warner that is the prophet is telling

[29:20]the people that he is indeed the one whom Allah is pointing

[29:25]out that he is the Warner to give a warning to the

[29:27]people and then when the prophet says he then continues to say

[29:37]know all people that in every times there is going to be

[29:43]an IM from us the way the prophet mentioned that his role

[29:52]is the now he is clarifying to the people announcing to them

[29:57]that for every time there is going to be an Imam from

[30:00]us and the role of that Imam is that he is going

[30:05]to going to guide the people with regards to whato Allah has

[30:09]brought with regards to the message the Sharia of a beloved Prophet

[30:14]Muhammad Mustafa Imam continues to say that again when the prophet mentioned

[30:28]that for every people there is going to be a guide there

[30:33]is going to be a Hadi for them the Imam said then

[30:37]the prophet said this is what the Imam is mentioning the prophet

[30:39]said that the Hadi that the guide after me is going to

[30:44]be Ali and after him will be the imams from his Pony

[30:47]and the last of the guide will be the m M so

[31:00]this is one of the Ayah Surah Ayah number seven where we

[31:07]can utilize as a proof to be able to have that discussion

[31:11]with regards to our belief in the final Imam IM Al Mahi

[31:17]we do not have time but we also know that thereafter there

[31:19]are numerous Hadi especially one of the Hadith which is commonly under

[31:23]accepted by the Muslims that the prophet had his back towards the

[31:29]Kaa and he had the companion ja Abdullah anari and he mentioned

[31:33]to him that after me there are going to be 12f there

[31:35]they're going to be 12 khif or they going to be 12

[31:39]Amir 12 rulers and he mentioned the rulers one by one after

[31:42]the name he came to the name of the fifth Imam and

[31:45]he told jabir that You' be meeting my f fifth what do

[31:50]you say descendant convey to him my salams and there after he

[31:53]continued with the names all the way to the final name of

[31:57]the Imam so M this is one of the Ayah which has

[32:09]been mentioned in this book which is a way of being able

[32:14]to show that our belief in the IM al- Mahi is indeed

[32:16]aligned with the teachings of the Quran the second Ayah which I

[32:23]would like to share with you is with regards to a group

[32:25]of people had gone to 60 Imam ja and in the conversations

[32:40]which they had they asked a question to the Imam that how

[32:45]do we engage into the debates when people question to us with

[32:49]regards to the final Imam and that is the belief in the

[32:52]Imam Al M so the Imam told them engage with them in

[32:57]debate with with regards to this Surah so he gave them the

[33:01]name of the Surah which inshallah we're going to discuss as the

[33:04]second of the Ayah mentioned in this book by she Hashim Al

[33:07]bahani interestingly the muf of our contemporary times Muhammad Hussein tabat was

[33:17]likewise asked a similar question is to can you give us a

[33:25]worse which in our contemporary times we were able to discuss in

[33:31]debates with regards to the belief in our final Imam Al so

[33:44]say Muhammad tells them that there is a verse in the Quran

[33:48]which is the most significant proof with regards to the existance of

[33:52]the Imam Al Mahi and this is indeed one which proves that

[33:58]the Imam is present Even in our contemporary times today what is

[34:02]that Surah or what is that Ayah similarly to what our sixth

[34:07]Imam responded likewise say Muhammad is mentioned with regards to this verse

[34:13]and allahim bahani uses this as one of those proofs to show

[34:17]from those 120 verses with regards to the discussion on the argument

[34:21]of showing clear proofs with regards to the existence of the Imam

[34:29]of our time so Hashim Al bahani says that refer to the

[34:32]fourth Surah Surah 98 and that is Surah what is the fourth

[34:39]refer to the fourth Ayah beg your pardon refer to the fourth

[34:43]Ayah of Surah 98 of what is the fourth Ayah a very

[34:59]simple translation tells us that the a the words the the the

[35:04]the the Surah begins with telling us questioning us drawing attention do

[35:09]you know what is so it is drawing attention it's a very

[35:12]rhetoric question to tell us do you know what is thereafter Allah

[35:19]himself is responding drawing attention know that on that night that is

[35:28]the for the Arabic language grammar is to be able to understand

[35:33]that it is talking about an event which is taking place in

[35:36]continuous present tense it is something which is taking place it is

[35:42]not something which had taken place the word being utilized or the

[35:46]verb being utilized over here is to convey a message that it

[35:49]is something which is taking place so what is taking place means

[35:56]over here that is the in the which is they are they

[36:03]are indeed descending they do this descending they are descending so it

[36:16]is something in the continuous tense they are descending out of the

[36:20]permission from the permission of Allah subh that is send with all

[36:29]the decrees of all the Affairs so we need to ask ourselves

[36:34]that when we understand that the Quran is telling us that this

[36:40]is something which is happening they are descending from the permission of

[36:46]Allah subhana wa taala where are they descending the Quran was revealed

[36:52]during the time of our beloved Prophet Muhammad must muham Muhammad so

[36:59]it is easy to understand that the words in this is telling

[37:04]us that the Angel jbra and the they are indeed descending towards

[37:10]the prophet who is the of Allah subhana tala with all the

[37:15]decrees with all the Affairs on that night of and from the

[37:20]Hadith of the Prophet we know that after him it is the

[37:25]the first Imam and thereafter the second Imam and thereafter the third

[37:28]Imam so what it is giving us an understanding is that they

[37:31]are descending this is is one which is taking place every year

[37:38]in our lifetime number one number two on this event of the

[37:41]Angel jibrael and the angels are descending continuously number three a question

[37:46]was to ask where are the descending they are descending to a

[37:49]living entity and that is the H of Allah subhah wa ta'ala

[37:54]that is our beloved Prophet so in our time we very well

[37:58]know that we are witnessing and we know that this is an

[38:01]event where the Angel jibrael and the angels are descending all the

[38:08]moment there has got to be a living entity at that time

[38:10]and who is that living entity we are told from the Hadith

[38:14]of IM no oh people know that indeed by Allah indeed occurs

[38:33]every year which is true we see it occurring we experience it

[38:36]occurring every year and we know that the Quran is telling us

[38:44]that on this night is the am of Allah the decrees of

[38:49]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala are being revealed are descending where are they

[38:55]descending this is Imam sad responding they are descending to the to

[39:03]the Divine Authority the one who is the living and the living

[39:06]amongst our time [Music] is so M within this limited time I'm

[39:20]not going to go to the next Ayah just this two I

[39:23]very quickly is giving us two verses to be able to give

[39:29]us further conviction that our belief in the final IM Al Mahi

[39:33]is aligning with the Quran and it is something inshallah which is

[39:38]going to further strengthen and give more stronger our belief and our

[39:42]love and attachment to the of our time inshallah very quickly I

[39:48]would just like to mention with regards to the W we know

[39:51]that it was on the Eve or the middle of the shaan

[39:55]when the anunt of the 11th Imam by the name of hakima

[40:02]was invited by her nephew our 11th Imam to visit her home

[40:10]to visit his home and to stay there for ifar after ifar

[40:13]our 11th Imam requested his aunt to remain behind for there is

[40:19]going to be a child who is going to be born into

[40:22]this house and there is a conversation which takes place over there

[40:24]which you do not have time to look into it but what

[40:29]we know is that Akim mentions that close to the time of

[40:32]fud on the 15th of shaaban in the year 255 after Hijra

[40:37]she found that she was gaining drowsiness or she was losing Consciousness

[40:41]and after a while when she regained her Consciousness she saw a

[40:45]child over there and that is the Performing the S Muhammad and

[40:57]we also Al know very familiar that after a while the 11th

[41:00]Imam from outside the door asked his aunt to give him his

[41:06]son so the 11th IM took hold of a living Imam s

[41:11]in his arms and he asked the living IM to speak to

[41:13]him where the living Imam gave shahada with regards to theed of

[41:19]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala with regards to the messengership of a beloved

[41:24]prophet and thereafter the Imam sent down salutations and salawat upon the

[41:29]Imam starting from the first Imam mentioning them Name by name till

[41:32]he came to the name of his father respectfully where he stopped

[41:35]and today alhamdulillah you and I have meant to be able to

[41:42]recall with regards to this happy occasion of the V of the

[41:45]IM of our time [Music] muham so our conversation discussion tonight it

[42:08]with regards to looking at what is it we can respond to

[42:14]the the question that our faith is indeed aligning with the teachings

[42:17]of the Quran we have been able to just point out two

[42:23]verses from the Quran to be able to use them as points

[42:25]for discussion in this argument and we believe in IM of our

[42:32]time as a fulfillment of our submission to the Divine words of

[42:39]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala for failing to believe in the F in

[42:42]the Imam of our time would be failing to believe in at

[42:47]least 120 verses of the Quran because we have been able to

[42:50]see the book is mentioning 120 verses of the Quran with regards

[42:55]to the Imam of our time so one who would be failing

[42:57]to believe in 120 verses of the Quran has basically denied the

[43:04]full Quran which has been revealed from Allah subhah wa ta'ala so

[43:08]you and I alhamdulillah we are submitting ourself and conviction with what

[43:17]that book in which there is no doubt into it inshallah muham

[43:31]muh so when we look at these Ayah there for us the

[43:36]belief in the Imam Mahi is no longer a prophecy for the

[43:41]Mahi has already born he is living with us in our contemporary

[43:44]times in these moments as such and it is now close to

[43:49]1,191 years since the time 15 shaaban 255 after Hijra when he

[43:56]was born as you and I alhamdulillah we do shukar to Allah

[43:59]subhanahu wa ta'ala for the IM which you got to be able

[44:05]to hold steadfast to this teachings for the opportunity and toi to

[44:09]be able to celebrate in this J at the same time we

[44:11]have got to answer some big questions for our own selves so

[44:16]the big question is or the big questions are how do we

[44:18]prepare ourselves to serve him what is our role what is our

[44:26]responsibility during these moments of GBA and during these moments of how

[44:30]are we in our inar waiting for the far of the IM

[44:35]of our time these are questions for you constantly to be reflecting

[44:39]upon them we pray to Allah subhah wa ta'ala by the wasila

[44:42]of none other than the one who is going to bring about

[44:47]Justice into this world for the one who is going to bring

[44:49]about the the the the the setting up of The Message of

[44:54]Islam Ya Allah we pray to you enable us to be from

[44:58]his an and at all times Ya Allah we pray to you

[45:03]enable us to be of those who will be actively in the

[45:05]moments of in and Ya Allah we make special Dua for and

[45:11]Grant them good health long life to protect us during these moments

[45:15]of for the and the Ya Allah we make special Dua to

[45:23]you Ya Allah grant them a very painful punishment and plenty of

[45:30]your and and deprival of the fa favors upon them Ya Allah

[45:36]and for the we pray to you grant them that and us

[46:11]woman we are pleased to announce there's a cake cutting ceremony uh

[91:55]uh thank you for the opportunity so I I live in Oslo

[92:00]uh uh but I'm visiting here visiting Professor here in medicine uh

[92:05]but I'm originally from lakau so Shari like they say it's in

[92:14]my DNA uh so uh although I don't do I don't write

[92:16]anything but I I love to recite so uh in in in

[92:26]Udu ashar or cets means two lines or two stanzas so the

[92:32]first is from a very famous modern Udu poet called J malabadi

[92:37]our part of the world actually not far from lakov a place

[92:42]called malabad which is part of lakau so pesm insan means to

[93:07]awake the next couet is from probably the most famous meria reciter

[93:31]anise uh I'm very privileged that in my ancestral house in lakau

[93:36]Miran used to reside Mara couple of hundred years ago uh and

[93:42]and that how still stands R Subhan Subhan Allah uh I don't

[94:20]have my glasses so uh so apologies in advance uh if I

[94:26]make some mistakes uh but but that's how it is uh next

[94:32]one is from aomed from a poet called Muhammad Ali johar Hussein

[95:05]ISL couple of more and and you know I don't want to

[95:10]take much time and thank you once again uh this is a

[95:15]fantastic Center and I mean we have a very fantastic Center in

[95:17]Oslo called the to so I'm really happy for the you know

[95:24]for for for for uh me being here uh it's it's it's

[95:27]actually a sik poet uh a follower of Islam K Mohinder Singh

[95:32]B who's written this next uh and I I will need your

[95:37]attention it's it's it's a fantastic uh uh four lines of uh

[95:39]Udu poetry Shah IM Z Islam zind Islam and uh the last

[97:18]one uh one of my favorite and probably a lot of you

[97:24]will know it uh probably the only Udu poet in my uh

[97:28]uh knowledge who should have won a Nobel Prize and literature I

[97:32]mean we have Nobel Prize in literature in India but the only

[97:37]one Alama Muhammad ibal probably the only one uh you know philosopher

[97:43]poet thank you brother with your permission a couple of final shies

[98:16]before our final reiter for the night Grace is the podium one
