[12:45]passed away today in London mahuma was the sister-in-law of Muhammad by

[17:39][Music] [Music] [Music] your lovely [Music] I have recited the eighth verse

[18:13]of Surah Assaf which is the 61st chapter of the Holy Quran

[18:21]beautiful words of Allah and deep Allah says [Music] and they desire

[18:37]to put out the light of Allah with their mouths [Music] but

[18:50]Allah will perfect his light even though the faithless should be a

[18:57]verse in this verse the term which means the light of Allah

[19:10]according to Serene refers to several things it refers to the Deen

[19:19]of Allah which is the religion of Islam it refers to the

[19:26]Holy Quran which was sent down for the guidance of mankind it

[19:32]refers to the guides who are sent for the guidance of mankind

[19:38]all the prophets including the holy Prophets [Music] and the imams from

[19:53]his progeny throughout the history we will find that in every time

[20:04]and in every society they have always been a group of people

[20:09]a group of powerful elements who have strived to subdue the message

[20:19]of Allah and to achieve this they applied different techniques and methods

[20:29]some of those techniques were solved and some were harsh when it

[20:36]comes to soft techniques it's making mockery of religion to put people

[20:41]off the Deen of Allah or using bribery bribing people so that

[20:48]they leave the Deen of Allah they live following the Guides of

[20:55]Allah and come towards them and they when were unsuccessful in these

[21:01]So Soft techniques they applied harsher and aggressive techniques such as bringing

[21:09]about social injustice causing operation or causing Wars and killing the people

[21:17]even though all these techniques soft or harsh and aggressive may be

[21:27]overwhelming for us we find that Allah in this verse is actually

[21:33]making mockery of their combined efforts he says and they desire to

[21:46]put out the light of Allah with their mouths but the power

[21:55]of Allah is such that it has always prevailed and will continue

[22:00]to Prevail and that is why Allah then says but Allah will

[22:12]perfect his life even though the faithless are averse so this is

[22:18]the power of Allah and we will find that there have been

[22:23]people who have been messing around with the power of Allah without

[22:29]success in all times one of the examples that has been cited

[22:35]in the Holy Quran is the encounter of prophet Musa alaihissalam with

[22:44]history tells us that for our own was a very powerful ruler

[22:53]and his incredible power led him to a height of arrogance where

[23:01]he even declared himself to be God and what he did in

[23:09]his Society with his subjects is that he divided in them into

[23:13]groups and tribes and treated the bani yes at the lowest level

[23:24]he made them as his servants and slaves belonged to this tribe

[23:37]of bani Israel one day his magicians informed him that a male

[23:43]child will be born in bani yes who will be the cause

[23:49]of your destruction and the destruction of your entire Kingdom when he

[23:55]heard this he immediately ordered that all the male children in bani

[24:00]Israel should be killed and following his instruction thousands of infants male

[24:12]children were massacred were killed in that Society Quran says indeed exalted

[24:19]in the land foreign and he made groups and divisions and tribes

[24:34]in his people amazing one of them and that is in reference

[24:38]to bani is Massacre their male children and sparing the lives of

[24:51]their women indeed he was one of the Agents of corruption so

[25:01]Allah is talking about this thought that with his incredible power which

[25:08]he had through which he had claimed to be God he would

[25:13]be able to fight against Allah to go and counter the power

[25:19]and the father of Allah what happened to him Allah made a

[25:24]mockery of him his mother feared that he too will be killed

[25:36]like the other male children of Bari Israel but then Allah inspired

[25:40]her to put Musa in a basket and cast him in the

[25:47]river and he was picked up by none other than the wife

[25:55]of the Pharaoh the wife of her own who insisted that his

[25:58]life should be spared and that she would raise him this we

[26:03]find that Allah to be raised in the house of pharaoh who

[26:10]was actually looking out and voting out for Musa to kill him

[26:15]and this is the same Musa who eventually destroyed firon and his

[26:22]entire Kingdom he wanted to blow the light of Allah to put

[26:29]out the light of Allah with his mouth my brothers my sisters

[26:32]tonight we have gathered here to celebrate the birth of the master

[26:38]of our age our 12th living Imam Imam birth of our 12th

[26:53]Imam is just as miraculous as the birth of Musa just heirs

[27:00]pharahn was informed that male child will be born in bani Israel

[27:05]who will be the cause of your destruction and that led him

[27:12]to kill the male children of bani Israel predictions about the birth

[27:23]of was prevalent in the society that a child will be born

[27:27]in the progeny of the holy prophet who will go into in

[27:33]an occultation and when he re-emerges he will or the question he

[27:41]is going to fill this Earth with Justice and equality after it

[27:50]was fraught with inequality and operation there are numerous numerous traditions in

[27:54]this regard from the holy prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam himself and every

[28:03]Imam who can talk about our 12th Imam every infected there are

[28:10]and narrations recorded by both the shias and the sunnis famous tradition

[28:15]there is a difference between us and them but we both believe

[28:20]that Mahdi welcome the only difference is that they believe that mahadi

[28:24]will be born and we say that he is already born the

[28:30]Hadith of rasulullah it will say in which he says that a

[28:32]child will be born in my progeny according to another Hadith a

[28:39]child will be born in the progeny of my daughter who will

[28:43]go into occultation he will go into and when he re-emerges he

[28:53]is going to fill this Earth with Justice and equality after it

[29:01]had been fraught with Injustice and operation so the prophet talked about

[29:05]the prediction was there already in the Muslim society and practically every

[29:10]Imam also talked about this for example it is mentioned that foreign

[29:24]he once came in the presence of our eighth Imam Imam Imam

[29:34]asked him asked him recite some couplets to recite some hashar so

[29:41]he began and one of the couplets which he recited in the

[29:43]presence of our Imam was this is one of his capitalists and

[29:57]the emergence of an is an undeniable truth he will rise by

[30:43]is stood up from his place placed his hand over his head

[30:46]bowed down and for three times he said Allah now we understand

[30:59]that this practice of blessing our hands over our heads when the

[31:03]name of Imam is uttered and bowing down in respect and saying

[31:07]it has come from it is known as the tradition of our

[31:16]eighth Imam so we find that the predictions are already there in

[31:21]the Muslim society and it was worrisome for the rulers of the

[31:27]time they were concerned about it especially when it came to the

[31:31]time of our 11th the Abbasid ruler who was there at the

[31:35]time knew that any time after this person the Mahdi is expected

[31:43]so he too just like a pharah had done came up with

[31:46]his own schemes with his own techniques one of the techniques which

[31:54]he applied was to isolate our 11th Imam from his spouse so

[31:57]that he should not have any relation with his wife and mahadi

[32:02]should not be born this is what he did he put our

[32:04]Imam in detention he imprisoned him huh they put our Imam attention

[32:32]and suddenly an incident occurred Samara was struck with feminine a severe

[32:43]family not a drop of rain came and people were they were

[32:46]tired they were exhausted the heat of Iraq the heat of Samara

[32:53]they did every thing possible for the rain to an extent that

[32:59]they gathered outside the city of Samara and prayed together that special

[33:03]prayer which is known as which is normally recited for rain but

[33:06]nothing happened so once they were there outside the city praying to

[33:13]Allah for the rain suddenly a Christian priest appeared and he said

[33:20]to them that your prayers are not been sanctioned that your prayers

[33:24]are not being accepted you wait and watch I am going to

[33:30]pray and Allah is going to pour rain he is going to

[33:32]send rain thereafter he lifted his hands towards the sky and suddenly

[33:41]a cloud appeared above him suddenly a cloud appeared above him and

[33:47]it rained little now seeing this Muslims were shocked they were surprised

[33:52]we who are on the true part have been praying we prayed

[33:56]salatulations nothing happened and here is a Christian some of them even

[34:03]begin to suspect their own lead their own religion and it happens

[34:08]nowadays it happens I remember a time when when that ganpati huh

[34:14]Idol in Hindu mandir had started sucking milk I don't know if

[34:21]you remember children don't know about this but it happened about some

[34:24]20 years ago I believe and people flocked to the temples to

[34:29]witness this amongst them or other people let us go and see

[34:39]and some of them came back with their Iman weakened in the

[34:42]how can this so you find that Muslims were there who who

[34:49]were baffled by this and they said how can this be possible

[34:53]to talk about this became worried not that he was worried about

[34:58]religion he was worried about his own rulership because he was regarded

[35:03]as the Khalif of the Muslim and he didn't want to lose

[35:05]that he had power over the Muslim land so he immediately gathered

[35:11]his counselors his ministers his Scholars and conferred the matter with them

[35:16]what should we do nobody could offer any solution to him nobody

[35:19]there was one Court here a person present there he said I

[35:25]have a suggestion there is a solution to this problem that can

[35:28]be given by only one person they asked who is that person

[35:33]he said the person who you have put in detention who is

[35:36]in your prison muatamid he is Hassan son of Ali that is

[35:43]our 11th Imam and immediately realized that how true is this because

[35:48]deep down he understood he knew that these are the Divine guides

[35:55]they are the ones if they were to stand up on a

[35:57]musallah a mountain would move so immediately Muhammad said that he should

[36:03]be called and it is said that when Imam arrived in the

[36:08]court of umid For the First Time Muhammad Rose from his throne

[36:12]to welcome the Imam brought him and made him sit next to

[36:20]him and then briefed him about what had transpired Imam smiled and

[36:23]he said this is a small problem I will solve it for

[36:25]you he said ask the Muslims together outside the city of Samara

[36:32]and ask the Christian priest to also come when they had all

[36:37]gathered there Islam arrived and he asked the Christian priests to pray

[36:43]as soon as he lifted his hands Towards the Sky everybody witnessed

[36:48]there including the Imam that cloud came over him and Imam told

[36:54]him stop came to him asked him to open his fingers when

[37:01]he opened there was a small piece of lost born from the

[37:07]body of one of the previous prophets that was hidden between his

[37:13]fingers Imam took that bone and placed it respectfully in a handkerchief

[37:19]and then as that Christian priest to pray again this time when

[37:23]he lifted his hand nothing happened Imam then turned towards muatamid and

[37:29]the Muslims who were there and he informed them that this piece

[37:33]of moon belongs to one of the prophets and if it is

[37:39]exposed under the sky cloud will gather and it will also Reign

[37:43]this is the the respect of that prophet and this is what

[37:49]he has been using and thereafter the Imam said now I will

[37:51]pray for the rain Allah as soon as the grandson of the

[37:57]holy prophet raises his hand her clouds begin together from all this

[38:01]Imam turns towards the Muslims and tells them go to your homes

[38:06]as soon as they reach their homes it rains and it rains

[38:08]it pours heavily after this incident how could Mohammed send back the

[38:15]Imam to prison huh there would be a Revolt people would rebel

[38:18]against him what are you doing this is the man who has

[38:22]saved us who has saved our Dean who has saved Islam he

[38:27]had no choice but to send with honor and with respect our

[38:29]Imam back to his house and the historians like it is after

[38:36]this incident that the mother of Allah conceived our Imam and he

[38:42]was born on the 15th of Shaban in the year 255 or

[38:51]256 ah in so this is about the birth of our Imam

[38:59]and on this auspicious occasion of the birth of our Imam we

[39:06]extend our sincere greetings and felicitations to him and to our mushta

[39:11]hideen to our Maharaja and to all the shias and followers of

[39:15]one of the questions which many people ask with regard to our

[39:23]Imam or Imam as we all know is he is in occultation

[39:28]he had his occultation who are of two kinds one was the

[39:35]minor occultation which lasted for some time and then he went into

[39:41]Cobra where he will remain until he is commanded by Allah to

[39:48]emerge the question many people ask is that of our Imam how

[39:56]important it is for us to connect with him and how should

[40:04]we connect it's a question which many people ask the answers to

[40:09]this question this question has been given by the ulama but just

[40:14]a day or two before tonight's medalist I was following the lecture

[40:22]of one of our greatest Scholars who is alive uh his Eminence

[40:32]may Allah protect and prolong his life he was talking about Imam

[40:38]and he raised this issue he said this is a very common

[40:43]question people ask the answer which ayatullah gave that is what I

[40:46]want to briefly share with you but in my own words so

[40:50]that even the children can understand he says that people ask about

[40:54]how important it is for us to connect with the Imam of

[40:59]our time and what are the things which we do so that

[41:01]we get and remain connected to the Imam of our time his

[41:08]Eminence says that the answer to this question has been provided to

[41:14]us in the Holy Quran itself he says that after suratul hamd

[41:19]in the Holy Quran the second chapter begins which is Surah al-baqarah

[41:23]and in the opening verses of Surah al-baqarah now I want your

[41:30]attention because if you skip you will be lost so I want

[41:37]you to listen to me carefully and as I said the member

[41:40]is new I am high and I can see who is awakened

[41:44]who is asleep he says that the answer to this question has

[41:51]been given in the opening verses of Surah al-baqarah where Allah says

[41:55][Music] that is the book in which there is no doubt and

[42:11]it is a guidance for the for those who are very unconscious

[42:17]of Allah after describing the greatness of this book by using a

[42:29]pronoun that book Allah says then Allah mentions certain things his Eminence

[42:33]says that to expound on those things that have been mentioned in

[42:41]these verses would take an entire book because Allah is then taking

[42:45]us to a Next Level all together however our focus should be

[42:52]on the first statement that is the book that is the book

[42:59]of Allah the book this is Holy Quran what do we ought

[43:05]to understand is a very important point which we need to understand

[43:15]it is what the Noor it is the light of Allah one

[43:24]of the names which Allah has given to the Holy Quran is

[43:30]of Noor he has mentioned about it and even in many Traditions

[43:35]including we'll find it in some places when he is referring to

[43:40]the holy of Quran he is referring to it as has described

[43:49]himself as Noor as well he is the light of what of

[43:59]the heavens and the earth now this light which Allah is talking

[44:02]about is it a physical life or the mention is metaphor there

[44:08]is a metaphor meaning of of of of this light the light

[44:15]of Allah when he is talking about it it actually means that

[44:23]he is the Main and only source of knowledge and guidance this

[44:33]is one of the interpretations the light the physical light which we

[44:41]see in this life that of the Sun the stars and other

[44:44]objects these are but reflections of the Divine Light of Allah but

[44:52]when it comes to know Allah that Allah is known one of

[44:59]the interpretations with the mufa Syrian is that it means that he

[45:04]is the one and only and the main source of knowledge and

[45:08]guidance therefore if Allah shines his light upon anybody then the heart

[45:20]of such a person will be illuminated with knowledge and guidance this

[45:26]is what it means now that Allah who has described himself as

[45:34]Noor Allah Allah is the note of the heavens and the Earth

[45:39]himself says in the Holy Quran that this book is known that

[45:45]this book that has been sent down is Noor and we find

[45:50]that in Surah which is the 64th chapter of the Holy Quran

[45:54]verse number eight and those who believe in him that is believe

[46:16]in the holy prophet they honor him they help him and they

[46:23]follow the Noor the light which has come with him then they

[46:26]are the ones who will be felicitors so we find that in

[46:33]this Ayah in this verse of the Holy Quran Allah is light

[46:39]why because it contains direct words of Allah and nobody else and

[46:46]that is why it is known and if we refer to the

[46:52]traditions we will find that there are numerous traditions in which Quran

[47:08]you must adhere to the Holy Quran for indeed it is the

[47:15]firm Rob that is a rope that connects you with Allah and

[47:21]a manifest light that is if you follow the Holy Quran you

[47:29]will remain on a path that has been illuminated by none but

[47:34]Allah himself foreign lights off and guidance and shifa cure for the

[48:03]hearts cure for the what we call breasts this is what so

[48:08]we find that the Holy Quran has been referred to as what

[48:10]as you know I hope you are awake because we have to

[48:15]sail on a journey then his Eminence carry his own and says

[48:18]the book of Allah it says one is known as the book

[48:32]of existence which is the textual book in reference to Quran Majid

[48:40]The Honorable book and the other book is the book of creation

[48:51]which refers to a person in whom the entire Quran has been

[48:57]personified has been personified if you look at that person you will

[49:06]find that the command Commandments of the Holy Quran are seen in

[49:11]all his deeds the ethics and the characteristics of the Holy Quran

[49:17]are reflected in his characteristic and the inside of the Holy Quran

[49:27]is embedded in his logic such a person is the talking Quran

[49:35]and in our day and age that talking Quran is none other

[49:44]than mad master of our age end we find that again the

[49:55]Holy Quran and the Traditions are talking about this as well for

[50:00]example in in the Holy Quran Allah at one point says therefore

[50:09]believe in Allah and in his prophet and the Noor which we

[50:15]have sent down when it comes to tafsir of this particular verse

[50:20]we'll find the majority of Muslims says that the nor in this

[50:22]verse refers to only the Holy Quran but the the rations which

[50:29]we have received from the Allah clearly states that the Imam of

[50:36]the are included in this new life for example a person by

[50:40]the name of probably he was from Afghanistan I don't know if

[50:45]Kabul was there in those days but this person comes to our

[50:50]sixth Imam Imam and asks him he says what does this no

[50:59]refer to in this particular verse of the Holy Quran and Imam

[51:02]looks at him and he says Imam is now taking an oath

[51:11]that the nor in this verse is in reference to the imams

[51:13]from the homogeneous of prophet Muhammad till the day of judgment they

[51:17]are the ones who have been referred to as noon that is

[51:21]as the light of Allah when he is discussing this verse he

[51:32]says that there are all these that clearly state from the that

[51:36]in this verse Noor refers to the imams of because they are

[51:43]foreign in which Imam says they are the ones who illuminate the

[52:09]hearts of the Believers so my brothers and my sisters of two

[52:21]kinds there is silent book which is the Quran and then there

[52:26]is our duty is that in this life We should strive we

[52:34]should work hard to connect ourselves with both this Quran the silent

[52:40]Quran and the token Quran and benefit from their ways because they

[52:48]are light and get illuminated on The Path of Knowledge and guidance

[52:52]it is very very important that we do and how can we

[52:58]do this how can we illuminate our hearts through the Rays of

[53:02]Quran and through the Rays of the uh two things are required

[53:08]one is eyes ah we require eyes a person let me let

[53:19]me give you an example the most uh powerful source of light

[53:23]today is what is the sun isn't it now if you want

[53:30]to see the sun you require two things one is eyes that

[53:33]is why a blind person cannot different differentiate between day and night

[53:37]isn't it true because you cannot see so you need eyes and

[53:42]if you have eyes there is a possibility that still you will

[53:49]not be able to see the sun if there is a screen

[53:51]or barrier in front of your eyes isn't it true similarly if

[53:58]we want to benefit from the Rays of the Holy Quran and

[54:06]the Allah two things are required eyes there is eyes of what

[54:12]eyes of reason and thought that his marriage but cognizance of Quran

[54:17]covenants of the Muslim and we must remove the barrier of Disobedience

[54:22]and sins before our eyes and it is only then that we

[54:28]will be able to benefit from the light of Quran and the

[54:33]world [Music] we will and spend entire life reciting the Holy Quran

[54:43]attending the majority reciting the marasiya the Kasa will never penetrate into

[54:53]our hearts there will be no change we will be the same

[54:55]for 40 years 50 years we have been attending the majorles if

[55:00]we want to know that we have really benefited from Quran in

[55:04]the let us look at ourselves and ask are we what we

[55:08]were before if we are the same we are still there we

[55:14]have not moved forward we have not benefited there is very important

[55:20]he is the living Imam of our time What We should strive

[55:23]and one does not have has to see the Imam with his

[55:28]Naked Eyes in order to benefit from his race doesn't require to

[55:35]see you see this Center has walls they have got doors and

[55:45]windows that are inside and they are outside as well the outside

[55:48]wall doors at Windows face the Sun from morning till night do

[55:57]they benefit anything the Wolves the doors the windows do they benefit

[56:03]anything don't benefit they don't benefit anything but deep in the mountain

[56:08]in the depth of the Earth 70 or 100 meters down mysteriously

[56:16]there is a stone that receives the Rays of the Sun and

[56:23]that stone then term turns into a gym a shining Gem and

[60:45]he said this does not belong to us it belongs to you

[60:51]he said this belongs to you I said now I have lost

[60:58]it I said yes I know you have lost it in Sarat

[61:03]on your way back go back to sarach and go to the

[61:04]same place where you had encamped for one night and look for

[61:09]it he directed him where to search for and you will find

[61:12]this bullion take it with you back to bulk next year when

[61:17]you come and bring homes you bring this bullion with you and

[61:20]let me inform you that when you come again I will not

[61:23]be alive the deputy after me who will be there you should

[61:26]give this bullion this is Hussein was not an ordinary person when
