[32:08]Min on these blessed nights of Shaan and particularly tonight being the
[32:14]night of Hazat Abbas Alisam.
[32:15]We wanted to share a short but important reminder with you all
[32:19]regarding our tabaruk fund.
[32:23]Imam Ali Alisam beautifully reminds us do not feel ashamed for giving
[32:29]little because refusal is smaller than that.
[32:33]Sometimes we think it's only a few pounds.
[32:35]Does it really make a difference?
[32:36]But Imam Ali has is telling us that even a small contribution
[32:39]carries honor, value and reward.
[32:43]Many of us have experienced this personally.
[32:45]A family may wish to do tabaruk for a mar parent or
[32:51]on a wad or waf but between work, children, daily responsibilities, preparing
[32:55]food for large numbers can become overwhelming.
[32:58]In the past, this often fell on the same few families again
[33:04]and again.
[33:03]Alhamdulillah, with the tabaruk model, that burden has been lifted.
[33:09]The baruk is now organized in a dignified, sustainable way and still
[33:14]open for everyone to earn tawab whether by sponsoring, contributing or dedicating
[33:17]it for a loved one.
[33:20]This is where the tabaruk fund comes in.
[33:23]It allows every single person even if they can't cook, sponsor a
[33:27]full night or commit regularly to still share in the reward in
[33:32]the remembrance of the aul.
[33:35]Alhamdulillah, we have raised 2,743 pounds so far towards our target of
[33:39]£7,000.
[33:40]Every contribution, no matter how small, is helping us build some something
[33:45]sustainable that will serve this Jamaat for years to come.
[33:50]So on this blessed eve of the 4th of Shaaban when the
[33:55]house of Aulb is joyous with the birth of Abul Fil Abbas
[33:57]we humbly invite you to please please contribute whatever you can towards
[34:02]the tabaruk fund.
[34:04]The link to donate has been shared by email and WhatsApp or
[34:07]you can transfer your kind donation directly to the Wessex Jamaat account
[34:11]with a reference tabaruk.
[34:14]May Allah subhanana wa ta'ala accept from all of you grant taw
[34:19]to your marumin and place baraka in your wealth and homes for
[34:23]tonight's majus we are honored once again to have the opportunity to
[34:28]listen to say muhammad nakwi m kindly join me and welcome him
[34:30]to the member with restitation of three loud salawad Muhammad Ali Muhammad
[35:26]Muhammad Muhammadan regime.
[35:43]Alhamdulillah.
[35:51]Alhamdulillah.
[36:04]For speech, Abdulham.
[36:47]Amen.
[37:28]Again I extend my greetings and congratulations to each and every member
[37:35]of the community on the occasion of theat of the moon of
[37:39]moons of Beni Hashimb.
[37:54]It is a bravo to our mothers who have raised us in
[38:02]the love of Ali.
[38:05]May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala bless them.
[38:08]May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala grant them the best of rewards for
[38:14]feeding us the milk while she was singing Ali Ali to us.
[38:23]What I wish to do in my presentation today is speak about
[38:32]the importance of planning on how to upbringing our children in the
[38:38]community to be the soldiers of the awaited savior.
[38:44]Im And I want to do this by using the example of
[38:59]the apostle of Allah and how he took care in the upbringing
[39:05]of his cousin, his son-in-law.
[39:19]And then I want to continue to discuss how Ali raises his
[39:29]children in anticipation to save the Imam or to assist the Imam
[39:33]of their time.
[39:35]In our case, the Imam of our time is the awaited savior
[39:42]alim.
[39:54]In the time of the Imam was the holy prophet of Islam.
[40:00]In the time of Hassan and Hussein, the Imam was Ali.
[40:05]And so what was it that they were doing in bringing the
[40:12]children up in creating a particular characteristic in them for them to
[40:21]be able to be there for the imam of their time.
[40:23]And this is an important subject although I will not be able
[40:30]to tackle the entire subject on upbringing because I want to bring
[40:34]examples.
[40:35]However, the importance of upbringing our children for preparing our children to
[40:41]be in service of our imam is what I wish to speak
[40:44]about through these examples that I will come with inshallah.
[40:54]The moon of Banu Hashim is what in Uru we call the
[41:04]murad of Ali, the desire of Ali, the need of Ali, the
[41:08]want of Ali Abal.
[41:11]And this was planned by Ali as to what he wants and
[41:20]why he wants what he wants.
[41:22]And you will see in his upbringing he is making a separation
[41:27]between Hassan and Hussein and between his own other children.
[41:33]So you will observe this inshallah as I go about.
[41:38]Abu F Abbas was born on 4th of Shaan 26 after Hijra
[41:47]to Amirin and Fatam who is known to us as Umulin.
[41:55]When you observe the life of you will realize that he was
[42:05]fully focused on the mission of asking Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala for
[42:10]a son and to give him a foundation as well as adequate
[42:14]information with regard to the imam of his time.
[42:20]But let me come to the holy prophet of Islam as to
[42:24]what he did with regard to Ali and why he did what
[42:26]he did.
[42:31]Amir knew his importance to the holy prophet of Islam.
[42:37]The apostle of Allah knew the importance of Ali in his life.
[42:43]Amir knew the importance of the prophetic mission.
[42:48]He knew what the prophet needed when he needed it and how
[42:53]he needed to be prepared.
[42:58]In speaks about how he was raised by the prophet and I
[43:07]want you to observe this.
[43:08]You might find this something extremely overwhelming when you listen to this,
[43:16]but you will realize and you will ask yourself a question as
[43:21]to what the holy prophet of Islam was doing in terms of
[43:24]him raising Ali.
[43:26]We know that Imm Ali at some point was raised by the
[43:29]holy prophet of Islam due to what happened to Abu Talib and
[43:37]therefore the holy prophet personally physically took care of Ali Abu Talib
[43:43]and Ali speaks about this in observe what he said.
[43:48]He says He's asking a question.
[43:59]Do you know?
[44:01]Do you know my position, my status to the holy prophet of
[44:09]Islam?
[44:12]Due to my closeness with him and my special relationship to him.
[44:19]Then he explains he says as I was being raised by the
[44:24]holy prophet and I will put a question before you so that
[44:30]we can think together and develop this particular subject.
[44:34]Says as I was being raised by the holy prophet of Islam
[44:41]the holy prophet used to make me sit on his lap.
[44:45]Now one or two points to remember a mass prophet is raising
[44:56]a masum im there is no need for this because a masum
[45:01]is born a masum a masum is mansus mean Allah divine from
[45:06]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and infallible of this nature of the holy
[45:15]prophet of Islam feels the need of giving an upbringing to an
[45:21]infallible of the stagger.
[45:22]And so he says the apostle of Allah used to bring me
[45:37]close to his chest.
[45:40]Meaning he used to embrace me.
[45:54]Allahbar.
[45:55]He used to bring me close to him.
[45:59]He used to make me smell his fragrance.
[46:03]The fragrance of being taken by the fragrance of Ibama.
[46:09]So is taking the fragrance of Nubu.
[46:15]to ask a question.
[46:15]Yahoo Allah, why?
[46:16]Feeding Ali, putting him on his lap, taking care of him, bringing
[46:23]him close to your chest, talking to him.
[46:27]Observe what says further.
[46:28]He says not only did he used to do that the apostle
[46:40]of Allah he used to take a morsel of food chew it
[46:46]and then give it to me in my mouth morsel by morsel.
[46:50]This is the holy prophet taking care of Then he used to
[47:04]give that food to me morsel by morsel.
[47:06]What was the result of this?
[47:08]Now this is to teach us for us to understand what was
[47:13]the result of this care?
[47:14]What was the result of this focus on says the result of
[47:21]this was the result of this was that Ali never uttered a
[47:31]word of lie nor did he find any weakness in the characteristic
[47:37]of >> this was the result of the care that the holy
[47:45]prophet of Islam took forward and he says not only that says
[48:13]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala had appointed an angel who used to guide
[48:21]the holy prophet of Islam and teach him teach him every best
[48:28]characteristic day and night he was being guided by this angel the
[48:32]holy prophet of Islam.
[48:33]Well what was Ali doing at that time?
[48:38]He says, "And I used to follow the holy prophet of Islam
[48:46]just like a baby camel follows its mother everywhere." This is how
[48:52]the holy prophet of Islam takes care of.
[49:03]And he carries on by saying not only that he was giving
[49:16]me this upbringing every year.
[49:16]He used to take me along with him to to the mount
[49:23]of Hera.
[49:23]He was taking me every year to the mount of Ha.
[49:30]I used to see the prophet and nobody else used to see
[49:36]the holy prophet of Islam.
[49:44]And he talks about how he was the first Muslim.
[49:52]He says, "I used to see the light, the N of revelation
[49:57]and the message that was being revealed and I used to smell
[50:05]the fragrance of prophethood." This is how is being raised by the
[50:12]holy prophet of Islam.
[50:14]Why?
[50:12]Because the holy prophet wants to bring ali to a position that
[50:21]he understands the importance of the prophetic mission.
[50:23]The importance of the Imam of his time.
[50:26]The importance of what is required of Ali, the characteristics that will
[50:33]be required by Ali Abu Talib to be able to withhold any
[50:37]pressure that comes before him.
[50:38]And so he takes care of Im Aliatam in this particular manner.
[50:46]Amir Min is now raised by the holy prophet.
[50:50]But Amir Min has also heard from the holy prophet of Islam
[50:57]that there will be a day when Hussein will be surrounded by
[51:00]the Ashka.
[51:03]He also knows that Hussein who is going to be the ware
[51:08]of the Amy is going to need the same characteristics that were
[51:13]in instilled and inculcated in him by the holy prophet of Islam.
[51:20]So he knew that just like the holy prophet needed the assistance
[51:24]of Ali, Hussein was going to need the assistance of Ali.
[51:28]I don't know if you missed my word.
[51:33]Just as the holy prophet was going to need the assistance of
[51:37]Ali, Hussein was going to need the assistance of Ali.
[51:41]Here you will realize that he begins the preparation and the preparation
[51:55]begins with him visiting his brother who was an expert in genealogy
[52:03]who knew every pedigree who knew nobility of the families who knew
[52:08]the characteristics of the families.
[52:09]And so after the death of the beloved daughter of the holy
[52:16]prophet of Islam, Amir visits his brother and he says to him
[52:21]that I express to you that I want to marry a woman
[52:27]from a noble and a brave pedigree and I want you to
[52:30]expertly assist me in finding such a woman.
[52:36]Now observe the timing of observe his desire.
[52:42]Observe what he needs.
[52:43]Observe what he wants.
[52:44]And so he asks a takes one month to get back.
[52:50]His brother Akil takes one month to get back to Imam Ali
[52:57]Alisam.
[52:58]And he says to him, "My brother, what is your opinion about
[53:05]Fatima, the daughter of Hisam from the tribe of from the tribe
[53:08]of Kilabia?
[53:10]What is your opinion about her?" So Imam Ali says, "What do
[53:13]you mean?" He says from my research in the entire Arab world
[53:24]there is no Kabila that are more brave and courageous than the
[53:31]Kabila of this lady's father and therefore I recommend her to you
[53:39]takes the advice and accepts the advice of his brother Akil and
[53:46]then I don't want to go into what actually happened how the
[53:50]proposal was taken it's beautiful you can read it when you get
[53:55]a chance as to how the proposal went and how BB accepted
[54:00]Bul Bulanin accepted but she realized the proposal she realized who Ali
[54:08]was she realized whose father he was she realized whose husband he
[54:12]was and she knows what she is doing and her mother Umul
[54:16]Banin's mother and her father Hisam are also contributing to her to
[54:22]tell her the importance of who the proposal has come from.
[54:26]Now Pam Azmi in his poetry has has described this so beautifully
[54:33]about the desire of Ali and I want to use this I
[54:42]will translate it yesterday when when our brother was reciting a casa
[54:46]here in Udu I heard a lot of waha from from the
[54:51]crowd that made me think that you guys understand Udu And so
[54:56]I don't have to translate it.
[55:00]But I know my younger brothers here probably will require a translation.
[55:04]But describes this and please be with me with regard to this.
[55:07]He begins with many stanzas.
[55:12]Then he comes about the state of Ali's inner health as he
[55:16]is desiring Abbas.
[55:18]He says Ali was in constant state of thinking.
[55:25]What was he thinking?
[55:30]When people come against imus when there will be chaos in the
[55:43]world after my death.
[55:45]These are the thoughts of Ali described by Pam Al who will
[55:51]be there who will be there for the protection of this dean
[55:55]maniki.
[55:59]The position of Hussein at this time in this context is the
[56:04]same as the position of the holy prophet in terms of the
[56:07]mission.
[56:08]He says That wahawa told me you understood it.
[56:25]Hussein Hussein is also going to need.
[56:38]There came a time that he now began to pray to Allah
[56:43]subhanahu wa ta'ala.
[56:45]What did he ask for?
[56:48]He began to ask for the jal of he asked for another.
[57:03]He began to ask for a child who was going to be
[57:10]loyal.
[57:14]When the dua was accepted and the Ali was granted his dua,
[57:31]>> the mushkil kusha of the time was granted with his own
[57:38]mushkil kusha.
[57:41]In who?
[57:39]in Abbas Ali of Banu Hashim born forth of Shaan 26 after
[57:48]preparation of Ali begins when he starts to think about marriage he
[57:56]goes to his brother he asks what he wants he prays to
[57:59]Allah for a son and Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala grants him the
[58:07]son in Abbas who was born 4th of Shaan 26 6 after
[58:09]Hijra.
[58:10]He has three more brothers.
[58:11]Abdullah who was born 10 years after Abbas.
[58:14]He was born in 36 after Hijra.
[58:18]And then he had another brother called Man who was born 38
[58:23]after Hijra.
[58:24]And then he had another brother by the name of Jaffur who
[58:27]was born 40 after Hijra.
[58:28]The same year Amirin was martyed in the mosque of Kufa.
[58:34]The youngest brother of Abbas Alisam and Umul Banin's child was born.
[58:41]Now look at the preparation the name the naming of the child.
[58:51]Hali calls him Abbas.
[58:56]Many people call themselves Abbas or they have names Abbas.
[59:01]You know what Abbas means?
[59:09]A fierceful lion from whom all lions flee is called abbas.
[59:17]There are many names of a lion in Arabic language.
[59:22]Zam, Zar, Z all these names are the names of a lion
[59:33]in Arabic language.
[59:35]And I was reading about these names and I was trying to
[59:40]understand the Arabic uh technicalities of these names as to what each
[59:43]one of them mean.
[59:45]Most of it means means courage uh means valor and so on
[59:50]and so forth.
[59:52]But then I came across this and I I cannot verify this
[59:57]but I think it is quite close.
[59:58]When a lion is resting in a den on its own it's
[60:06]called assad.
[60:05]It is called assad.
[60:09]When it moves out of its den and stretches its pose is
[60:16]called zam.
[60:17]When it looks at its prey and it focuses its eyes on
[60:26]its prey, it's called gadanar.
[60:28]When it starts running towards its prey, it is called zam.
[60:34]When it attacks the prey and takes control of the prey, it
[60:40]is called hamza.
[60:43]When it attacks the prey and takes control of the prey, it's
[60:49]called Hamza.
[60:50]And then when it takes its prey in a manner that the
[60:57]prey cannot breathe anymore, it is called abbas.
[61:01]>> Now it has gripped the prey and the prey cannot breathe
[61:06]anymore.
[61:07]It is called abbas.
[61:07]And when this lion tears apart its prey, it is called Do
[61:19]you remember that statement of the time when he said, "I am
[61:30]the one whose mother named him.
[61:32]This is the time when the lion takes the prey and tears
[61:38]it apart." Anyway, this was just for the purpose of the fadila
[61:41]and for for the baraka.
[61:46]handsome goodlooking child named Abbas by Imam Ali Alisatam.
[61:50]He was so good-looking.
[61:51]Why is somebody whose entire family is moon is from that family
[62:01]he is called of Banuashim.
[62:03]He was extremely good-looking.
[62:04]He was wellbuilt.
[62:07]He was handsome to the extent that there is a tawis or
[62:11]there is a poem used as aawis uh associated with the poem
[62:18]of umul banin.
[62:17]She actually wrote a poem for the protection of Abbas and tied
[62:25]it on his arm.
[62:24]This poem is is is attributed to it says I seek the
[62:33]protection of the one Allah.
[62:37]from every eye of an envious individual whether that individual is standing
[62:48]or sitting whether he is a Muslim or a denier of Islam.
[62:55]She actually wrote this poem and put it on the arms of
[63:01]Abbas to keep away the evil eye of the people in the
[63:07]eye of the jealous people away from him.
[63:10]Now the birth of Abbas takes place and I want to focus
[63:14]on the upbringing.
[63:17]The birth of Abbas takes place.
[63:19]Again pam Azmi describes the birth of Abbas in this way where
[63:24]he says Abbas Abbas comes as a spirit of bravery.
[63:43]The soul of loyalty and the respect and the wakar of Abbasam
[63:53]comes.
[63:56]He came as an assistance to his brother.
[64:04]He came as the the the dignity of his mother and the
[64:10]valor of his father Mother Kishan.
[64:19]When used to carry abbas in her hands.
[64:29]So I I I read the poem.
[64:34]In the next edition this was changed.
[64:39]It says It was the planning of Ali.
[64:59]If you you saw Abbas in the cred, you would see that
[65:04]he was not an ordinary child.
[65:13]When he stood in the ranks of the armies, the opposite army
[65:19]used to flee by just looking at Translate this by explaining it
[65:31]for my younger brothers.
[65:32]Angry means to take a yawn.
[65:34]You know you stretch yourself and then you yawn.
[65:39]That is called angry in Udu.
[65:40]So as Mrs.
[65:44]as he was stretching and yawning in his cred what was happening
[65:51]was he wanted to announce that I am the son of Ali.
[66:03]when he used to clench his fist while he was taking a
[66:08]a stretch.
[66:10]He says, It is as if those fists were asking for alam
[66:27]that I am here to hold the alam of Hussein Ali, the
[66:33]alam of Islam.
[66:33]It took time, it took selection, it took planning from Ali.
[66:40]This is what he wanted.
[66:41]This is what he received from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
[66:47]and and with the partnership of Omul Banin and for him to
[66:53]make another Ali he needed.
[66:56]So the poet again says made his son into an entire army.
[67:16]He made him drink the storm and he made him into an
[67:21]ocean.
[67:22]and singing la to Abbas.
[67:42]with part in partnership with Ali made another Ali a spitting image
[67:50]of Ali Abal in character in his courage in his bravery he
[67:55]was a second Ali.
[67:59]This became apparent in the battle of now from here I revert
[68:02]back to the subject that I started yesterday.
[68:06]I mentioned to you that says we the cannot be compared to
[68:11]anyone.
[68:13]This was not only related to us or anybody else.
[68:18]This is also related to his own children other than the children
[68:25]of Fatima.
[68:27]What Ali is announcing is not only for the um no but
[68:30]it is also applicable to the children of Ali who are not
[68:38]the children of Fatima that they cannot be compared to the Aul
[68:42]B in terms of Hassan Hussein and the other imams.
[68:47]Now Imam wanted all his children to know that Hassan and Hussein
[68:51]have a different status than them.
[68:53]He wanted his own children to understand that Hassan is different, Hussein
[68:59]is different, Muhammad Hanafi is different, Abbas is different, man is different,
[69:06]Jaffer is different.
[69:09]Everyone is different to Hassan and Hussein.
[69:10]Their wakar, their status, their is theirs and exclusively theirs.
[69:18]And Ali wanted this to happen.
[69:21]So now Abbas is being raised by and both of them are
[69:24]raising and Ali is focused on the and on upbringing Abbasatam and
[69:36]other of his children.
[69:40]Abbasis was introduced for the first time in the battle of Cine.
[69:44]You know this this part of history is known and he was
[69:50]introduced in in the battlefield.
[69:52]That was his debut battle if you like.
[69:56]That was the first time he came into the battlefield and Amirin
[70:01]is training him and he is the one who asked him to
[70:03]go against the army of Muawia.
[70:07]He had a nakab on him.
[70:08]When he fought he fought like Ali.
[70:10]When he presented himself he presented himself like Ali.
[70:13]Although he was much much much younger for him to have the
[70:20]stature of Ali yet the Muawi's army confused him for Ali.
[70:23]It was the first time when he raised his to say that
[70:30]I am Abbas the of Banu Hashim.
[70:32]So anyway now this of Banu Hashim is introduced.
[70:41]Look at the upbringing of Ali.
[70:46]Look at what he's trying to instill in the mind of Abbas
[70:49]and the rest of the children in one of the battles and
[70:59]all his sons are present there.
[71:01]Abbas is there, Muhammad Hanafi is there, Hassan is there, Hussein is
[71:06]there.
[71:08]And in the middle of the battle calls upon his son Muhammad
[71:12]and he says to him, "My child," this is, "My child, my
[71:20]child, go, go and give your skull in the way of Allah
[71:28]subhanahu wa ta'ala.
[71:31]My child, go." So Muhammad Hanafia is being told to go to
[71:35]Mayana to the right flank.
[71:36]Observe this please.
[71:38]He goes to the right flank.
[71:40]He fights and then he returns back after having fought a very
[71:46]courageous battle in the right flank of the army.
[71:50]He returns back to Im Aliatam.
[71:53]And while he returns he says to his father Baba I'm thirsty.
[72:01]I am thirsty.
[72:04]Muhammad gives him some water.
[72:12]He drinks the water and rests for a while.
[72:16]Then tells him go and fight the left flank.
[72:22]Now who to Muhammad Hanafi?
[72:24]Everybody else is there.
[72:28]Muhammad Hanafi listens to his father, obeys his command, goes and fights
[72:33]the left flank.
[72:33]As he fights the left flank, he returns back saying the same
[72:40]thing.
[72:41]Baba, Baba, I'm thirsty.
[72:42]I'm thirsty.
[72:43]And then he gave him some water and asked him to rest.
[72:49]After resting, he told him, "My child, now go to the of
[72:52]the now go in the middle of the army and go and
[72:57]fight them and show them you are my son.
[72:59]Tell them you are the son of Ali.
[73:02]I want you to go.
[73:07]Muhammad Hanafi decides hesitatingly to go to the of the Lashkar.
[73:10]He reaches the of the and he does what he was doing
[73:19]and he fights and comes back this time wounded heavily.
[73:23]He came back to his father and he was crying went to
[73:36]him and stood by and then said and he kissed Muhammad between
[73:48]his eyes on his forehead.
[73:53]And he said to him, "Brao, my child, bravo.
[74:00]You have done the best thing." And he says to him, "My
[74:08]child, you have really made your father proud with your jihad." This
[74:17]is complimenting his son Muhammad Hanafi.
[74:19]Muhammad listens to what his father has to say and still carries
[74:28]on crying.
[74:27]Comes to him and says, "My child, why do you still cry?
[74:35]What is the problem with you?" Observe the response of Muhammad.
[74:39]He says, Baba, why should I not cry?
[74:48]Baba, you are asking me why I am crying.
[74:51]Baba, why should I not cry?
[74:58]You sent me in the face of death three times.
[75:02]Three times.
[75:05]Allah saved me.
[75:10]And look at me.
[75:12]I am wounded the way you are seeing Baba.
[75:15]Look at me.
[75:16]And then he dared to say something to his father.
[75:21]He says, he says, and then he says, he says to his
[75:38]father, I went three times.
[75:40]You can see me how injured I am.
[75:45]You can see me how wounded I am.
[75:46]And that is why I'm crying.
[75:48]But Baba, he dares say this to Imam Ali Alisam.
[75:50]But Baba, these two brothers, Hassan and Hussein, you have not even
[75:57]asked them once to go to the battlefield.
[75:59]You have sent me three times and you have not sent them
[76:02]even once.
[76:06]Human being father child relationship.
[76:10]Muhammad Hanafia is a great personality.
[76:13]Imam Hussein lives a in his name.
[76:16]But here he asked his father, "How come you only send me
[76:21]Baba and you don't send?" And who is watching here?
[76:24]Abbas is watching.
[76:28]It was his Abbas Alisam is watching.
[76:31]Abbas is watching.
[76:33]Muhammad says, "Baba, why did you not send them?
[76:36]You sent them three times.
[76:36]You sent me three times and I came back." And Allah subhanahu
[76:42]wa ta'ala saved me.
[76:43]Ali smiles and tells him, He says to him to Muhammad, "My
[76:52]child, you are my son." And these are the children of Fatima.
[77:03]You are my child.
[77:09]Another one of them is Fatima.
[77:14]Another isoolah.
[77:16]These are the children of Allah.
[77:20]You are my child and that is why I command you to
[77:22]do what I command you.
[77:29]Do you expect me not to protect them from death?
[77:34]It is at this time that Muhammad Hanafi immediately realizes and dones
[77:42]upon him and he says, "May I be sacrificed for them from
[77:57]every evil to touch them.
[78:03]Abbas is watching this.
[78:06]And that is why when you hear the Messiah in Kbalam, you
[78:12]realize the status of Abbas.
[78:14]You realize the behavior of Abbas.
[78:16]You realize how he presents himself before I Hussein.
[78:21]To the last bit of the Messiah.
[78:23]When you hear in the Messiah, Imam Hussein pleading to him Abbas,
[78:28]you never called me brother.
[78:28]Call me brother once.
[78:32]Call me brother once.
[78:34]You have never called me a brother.
[78:37]This was the upbringing of Ali.
[78:38]And um Benin when she entered the house of Ali after marriage
[78:42]she said to him Ali please don't call me by my name
[78:48]call me by my for this house knows Fatama as someone else.
[78:53]I cannot be compared to father.
[78:57]So I im Ali Alisam is training his children.
[79:02]Abbas is being trained.
[79:07]Abbas is being told.
[79:06]And in one of the wrote for Muhammad, he says, "I'm giving
[79:16]you the wasat for the respect of your brothers Hassan and Hussein
[79:25]because they have a greater right over you and upon you is
[79:32]to understand their right and their dignity.
[79:35]This is Ali training Abu Abbas to become the soldier of the
[79:47]Imam of his time and the Imam of his time was Hussein.
[79:52]He prayed to Allah for that child.
[79:57]Allah gave him that child.
[79:58]It was an honor for Abbas to be of this service to
[80:02]Imam Husseinatam.
[80:05]You see this manifested in Karbala when the letter of immunity comes
[80:13]and I'm not reciting Messiah but let's appreciate the inner state of
[80:19]Abbas.
[80:19]When the letter of immunity was presented to Abbas, he tore it
[80:25]apart.
[80:24]He was given a chance to move away from Imam Hussein Alisam.
[80:29]He was being given immunity.
[80:32]Him and his entire family and his mother and his brothers, all
[80:35]of them were being given immunity.
[80:37]He tore it apart.
[80:39]He didn't call Im Hussein a brother until it was imposed upon
[80:45]him in the last moments that O Abbas don't call me ma
[80:48]anymore.
[80:49]Call me a brother for I have a desire to hear.
[80:53]You say brother.
[80:56]Poet says I took a diamond and with the diamond I wrote.
[81:14]I removed the emotions and I wrote and and let me explain
[81:21]the two lines in English before I before I actually recited give
[81:26]you or present the couplet.
[81:29]What the poet is trying to say that if there was hypothetically
[81:32]if there was a Quran that was called wafa if there was
[81:40]a Quran and the name of the Quran was called loyalty then
[81:44]see what would have happened he says if there was a Quran
[81:54]that was known as then the position where alhamd is written in
[81:58]the Quran today Quran Therefore, my fellow brothers and sisters, when we
[82:13]look at the life of Abbas, when we look at the life
[82:20]of Ali, when we see how important upbringing a child is, upbringing
[82:26]the next generation is, you realize that Being a mass they took
[82:30]so much care.
[82:32]How much care do we take in bringing our children up?
[82:36]How much how much time do we spend in putting or instilling
[82:42]a in them?
[82:45]How much time do we give them in reciting Quran?
[82:47]How much time do we invest in bringing these children to become
[82:54]the soldiers of Imam Zam?
[82:56]Here we have celebrating the occasion of Abu Fat Abbas whose upbringing
[83:04]was taken care of by Ali and Ali's upbringing was taken care
[83:08]of by the holy prophet of Islam.
[83:09]The personalities that are masum are taking so much care about upbringing
[83:16]of the children.
[83:18]My fellow brothers and sisters, generation zed is a special generation.
[83:30]Now we are in alpha, I think.
[83:35]Are we generation alpha?
[83:35]Yeah, let's not go to alpha because we don't know them yet.
[83:39]But generation zed if you'll read about this generation I I I
[83:45]I really don't have much time but I would love to discuss
[83:51]what this generation is what their characteristics are what has Harvard University
[83:57]written about the characteristics of this genz's they are called genzers or
[84:03]genz's these individuals how they think how they are independent what is
[84:10]their attention span how the University lecturers have worked hard with psychologists
[84:15]to be able to teach them the way they understand not the
[84:21]way they were taught and how the lecturers actually speak to them.
[84:26]Do you know one of the statistics statistics with regard to the
[84:35]attention span due to the mobile phones and the uh devices that
[84:38]we have?
[84:39]Do you know the attention of the generation zed attention?
[84:43]One of the statistics is what?
[84:44]What is their attention span?
[84:48]17 seconds.
[84:50]If you capture their imagination or their mind within 17 seconds they
[84:59]will be with you.
[84:59]If you lose them in 17 seconds they will start scratching everywhere
[85:03]and go back to their devices.
[85:06]You observe this 17 seconds.
[85:12]Say Muhammad Nakwi comes here his 15 minutes and he's speaking to
[85:16]those who understand 17 seconds.
[85:17]Where do we go from there?
[85:21]We have to give the upbringing to the children in a manner
[85:27]that they understand the importance of who the B are.
[85:30]What is the meaning of?
[85:33]What is the meaning of respect?
[85:35]What is the meaning of kindness?
[85:38]What is the meaning of looking after each other?
[85:42]That needs to be instilled in them to be able to adorn
[85:49]the characteristics, the noble characteristics of theatam.
[85:54]when our parents don't care about how to bring their children up
[85:59]and when the children are also not interested in learning then we
[86:03]are going to raise a generation which is going to be alien
[86:07]to you and I and so my fellow brothers and sisters due
[86:10]to lack of time I will end here by just saying to
[86:14]you that if theatam were taking so much care in making sure
[86:21]that they were producing and bringing to the world an individual like
[86:29]Abbas, like Ali, then it becomes our responsibility to take lessons from
[86:34]them to bring about that kind of a generation that will stand
[86:38]for the imam of that time.
[86:48]May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala forgive our sins.
[86:52]May he make these days more blessed for us.
[86:55]May we die in the love of Alatam.
[86:59]We ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is a young man in Birmingham
[87:05]who is in critical care.
[87:08]May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala grant him.
[87:14]There are many others who are sick unwell who have asked us
[87:19]to pray for them.
[87:18]Ya Allah with the of Abu Abbas we ask you to grant
[87:24]them inshallah we pray to Allah subhanah wa ta'ala to hon the
[87:28]reappearance of the 12th IM we pray to Allah that we are
[87:33]amongst his ansar and his may I request you to recite three
