[45:36]Allah.
[45:38]for [clears throat] we pray to Allah subhana t tonight.
[46:05]Anyone who has h, anyone who has duas, anyone who has trials
[46:12]and tribulations, Allah subhanaa tala blesses them and gets rid of any
[46:20]trials, any tribulations or accepts any desires and in the words of
[46:27]one of the who says one day I made a lot of
[46:32]withdatam because something was worrying me something was stressing me And as
[46:36]you know we have ways of making with and other members of
[46:44]Alatam other than Hazat Abbas being one of them.
[46:47]Imaff being one of them.
[46:51]And he says I I I mentioned the name of Abul Ful
[46:56]again and again and again to call him for something that was
[46:59]bothering me.
[47:01]And he says, "At night when I went to sleep, I saw
[47:03]Hazat Abbas in a dream.
[47:07]And he said to me, uh, you know what is it?
[47:09]You keep calling me.
[47:10]You've called me." He says, "Yeah, or my master say," he says,
[47:15]"Then call onto my mother." without a doubt is uh a very
[47:25]powerful way of making with for the acceptance of and dua and
[47:33]we all have duas who doesn't have dua is and is a
[47:37]place of trials and tribulation is like a prison for the believer.
[47:43]We all come when we all come to this when we all
[47:45]come to the majus.
[47:48]No majus is small.
[47:47]No mus is you know no majus is lighter than the other
[47:52]majus.
[47:52]Every majus in which there is acceptance from Allah in B is
[47:55]to be taken as a form of success of the M.
[48:00]Because we have come here for one reason and one reason alone.
[48:02]For the pleasure of Allah.
[48:04]For the pleasure of his nabi and the pleasure of the of
[48:08]the we.
[48:16]We remember a lady who of course like her son is known
[48:23]for her loyalty.
[48:22]And so tonight I want to discuss levels of loyalty, types of
[48:27]loyalty.
[48:28]And when loyalty reaches a level where death has no meaning, it
[48:32]goes beyond death.
[48:34]You know loyalty can be of different types with the respected [snorts]
[48:39]molana.
[48:40]Molana with your permission inshallah.
[48:42]Loyalty can be of different types.
[48:45]Sometimes you have somebody who is loyal to the land.
[48:49]Somebody's loyal to the land he's born in.
[48:51]Somebody's you know I am born in so and so place.
[48:54]I'm loyal to that land.
[48:56]I feel that land is my home.
[48:57]I could live anywhere but I have a loyalty towards the land.
[49:00]Somebody's loyalty somebody has loyalty towards this city because we belong to
[49:05]this city.
[49:06]We've been raised in this city.
[49:07]We have been educated in this city.
[49:10]My forefathers are buried in this city.
[49:13]And so this leads to uh you know nationalism.
[49:17]Sometimes it leads to uh patriotic movements and other mindsets and movements.
[49:23]And sometimes you find that people have lived their whole life.
[49:26]Let's say people have lived their whole life in the west.
[49:29]It happens a lot in the Pakistani community.
[49:32]Happens a lot.
[49:32]They've lived their whole life in the west.
[49:34]But when they die, they make a wasa.
[49:36]We want to be buried back where we came from in our
[49:41]own villages and our own towns and cities.
[49:44]Why?
[49:44]You lived here baba 40 45 years.
[49:46]50 years you lived here.
[49:47]But no, when I die, I make a was that you take
[49:50]me back and you bury me to uh where I could where
[49:55]my forefathers because he still or she still feels a connection, a
[50:00]loyalty with the land.
[50:02]Another form of loyalty is a loyalty towards your cause.
[50:10]Now that cause could be religious or non-religious but I am loyal
[50:14]to the cause and for this reason sometimes you find people will
[50:17]join movements a a socialist movement a communist movement a liberal movement
[50:26]a nationalist you know political or non-political religious or non-political or non-religious
[50:32]because there is a loyalty to a cause it brings people together
[50:37]yes doesn't matter I'm not discussing uh the is it political, is
[50:42]it religious or non doesn't matter.
[50:44]People have loyalty.
[50:43]You can be of any religion, any creed, color, race.
[50:47]You can live anywhere in the world.
[50:49]But you feel that sometimes you have a loyalty to a cause
[50:51]and that brings people together.
[50:54]Loyalty can of course be good and bad.
[50:55]You can have a bad cause.
[50:57]You can have a negative cause.
[50:58]And sometimes loyalty is to the family.
[51:01]I'm loyal to my tribe.
[51:02]I'm loyal to my family.
[51:06]that sometimes it could take it could become it could possess somebody
[51:09]that somebody could say even if my family is wrong I still
[51:13]defend them even if my tribe is wrong because I'm a lawyer
[51:17]and this used to be the case for the Arabs pre-Islamic Arabia
[51:24]whoever bothered to investigate what the chief of the tribe is doing
[51:30]is right or wrong nobody bothered to investigate that as long as
[51:35]he's done As long as he's given somebody his promise, his oath,
[51:39]we are part of it.
[51:40]The chief of my tribe says we will not fight that tribe,
[51:43]we don't fight that tribe.
[51:44]The chief of my tribe says we shall fight that tribe even
[51:48]though it's for a sake of a a sheep or a cow
[51:51]that was stolen by by somebody.
[51:53]We'll fight them to the last breath and they go and fight.
[51:55]Who ever stopped to discuss investigate who's right, who's wrong, nobody.
[52:01]Because the loyalty was to the tribe.
[52:03]the loyalties to the chief, the master of the tribe, the tribal
[52:08]leader and you can still find that this sort of thing still
[52:10]exists today in the modern world in the so-called educated world.
[52:16]However, we within the religion of Islam, we say the best loyalty
[52:23]is the loyalty to the religion.
[52:27]The best loyalty for man is to be loyal to his creator
[52:33]to Allah subhana wa ta'ala.
[52:34]And of course when religion is established when you've established out of
[52:38]all of religions that the only religion that stands firm is the
[52:45]religion of Islam and within that is the shadab.
[52:49]There's only one religion out of all of religion which stands in
[52:53]the sense that it is the only true and correct religion of
[52:58]Allah subhana wa ta'ala without addition of of its messages without deletion
[53:02]without any sort of corruption is a religion of Islam and that's
[53:07]why you're Muslim and within the sects of Islam the only mab
[53:11]which stands the test of its its its truthfulness its accuracy with
[53:19]which it speaks and propagates with which it uh which with with
[53:25]which the message has reached you is the mab of the Shia
[53:30]and that's why you're Shia.
[53:32]Yes.
[53:35]And I say this without any reservation.
[53:39]You look through all of the sets, you will find and if
[53:45]you truly genuinely look through them and you want to learn and
[53:48]research, you will find that there will come a point they will
[53:52]run out of answers for you.
[53:55]But your questions won't finish.
[53:56]You'll still have questions.
[53:58]And there's nothing wrong with having questions.
[54:02]Or the question is half of if one doesn't have a question,
[54:10]then one is not learning.
[54:09]Of course, one must have a question for the sake of learning.
[54:14]The only mudhab which answers all of your questions and quenches your
[54:18]thirst is the maz of suhammed.
[54:29]And so when a mudhab quenches your thirst, when an ideology quenches
[54:36]your thirst, then you and I must become loyal to that.
[54:39]You see Allah subhanaa tala speaks of the the verse that I
[54:46]recited in the beginning of the and remember is he was he
[54:51]fulfilled he was truthful.
[54:53]It was somebody who was faithful and faithfully fulfilled and then Quran
[55:01]says and Ibraim.
[55:02]So is and Ibraim both have been praised for their loyalty and
[55:06]you know the story.
[55:06]Ibraim you are to sacrifice this is father says to son I've
[55:13]seen a dream that I'm sacrificing you.
[55:15]What do you say?
[55:15]He says father if is the of Allah then so be it.
[55:21]The point being that Allah does not doesn't stop at Ibraim.
[55:27]Ibraim, mashallah, you've passed the test.
[55:29]Ibraim Ibraim and his and what of Ibraim?
[55:33]Which father can put the son under the knife?
[55:42]But then he he speaks of is in other words Allah speaks
[55:49]of the sacrifice and the sacrificer.
[55:53]You with me?
[55:55]Yes.
[55:55]There's two here.
[55:57]It's not that only the loyalty of Ibraim is prayers.
[55:59]You were very loyal to your Lord.
[56:03]Your Lord commanded you to do a thing that no father could
[56:05]do and you you did it and then Allah intervened and stopped
[56:09]it.
[56:10]But Allah says Ibraim is loyal is loyal as well because the
[56:15]son says whatever is the hookum of Allah.
[56:17]This is the hookum.
[56:17]Oh father if this is the hookum then whatever is the hookum
[56:21]of Allah.
[56:20]So Allah praises both the sacrifice and the sacrificer.
[56:27]So when you praise Abul who a sacrifice you must also praise
[56:34]the mother who raised him.
[56:36]Yes.
[56:38]And so here begins the test of your and my loyalty.
[56:46]Bani how she raised her son with loyalty.
[56:52]But we're tested on a daily for our loyalty.
[56:55]When you get if you've connected with Abu Fmulin and you come
[57:01]here as lovers of Abbas and Omul Banin there only one thing
[57:08]that brought you out tonight.
[57:07]The love of that love only one reason that brought you out
[57:17]here tonight.
[57:18]You could have been anywhere.
[57:21]Every day you and I are tested for the loyalty.
[57:25]Loyalty.
[57:26]Our loyalty towards our cause.
[57:28]And our cause is Husseini.
[57:30]Yes.
[57:31]That's why you go.
[57:34]That's why you go z because you're loyal to the IM and
[57:36]his cause loyalty.
[57:45]You make dua Allah in I want to be with them in
[57:48]I want to be with them.
[57:53]Loyalty I am at peace with the with those who are at
[57:55]peace with Im Hussein.
[57:58]Let's go to Fatima.
[58:01]You're at peace with those who are the friends of Fatima and
[58:05]the lovers of Fatima and you hate those who hate Fatima.
[58:09]Loyalty.
[58:09]What else is it?
[58:13]You're loyal to the cause.
[58:14]And if any anybody comes against the cause, you have you have
[58:21]a problem with it.
[58:20]How are we tested?
[58:22]Every morning the first test of my loyalty is if I am
[58:31]who I am then how loyal am I to the cause?
[58:35]How loyal am I to how lo how loyal am I tob
[58:43]the first test of loyalty is the salah.
[58:47]Do I pass that test or do I fail that test?
[58:50]I know we all know I begin my day with the name
[58:59]of God with the name of Allah subhana wa tala and the
[59:02]of Fatima or I begin the day by sleeping through that it's
[59:08]a test of loyalty every everything is a test of loyalty Christmas
[59:15]is coming up my company has a Christmas Eve dinner or party.
[59:21]We have to sit and there will be colleagues and staff members
[59:28]who will be drinking alcohol.
[59:27]My loyalty is tested.
[59:31]Yes.
[59:31]What am I going to do?
[59:34]Am I loyal to the company or loyal to Allah?
[59:37]Am I loyal to the sleep or am I loyal to Allah?
[59:42]you know and once said a beautiful thing um if I remember
[59:48]correctly he said if you find it hard to pray for Allah
[59:53]this is deep huh if you find it hard to pray for
[59:58]Allah because you pray for Allah we all pray for Allah subhana
[60:00]wa tala if you find it hard to pray for Allah subhana
[60:04]tala okay take a step back pray for Imam Hussein At the
[60:14]time of salah, where would Imam Hussein want to see his follower?
[60:19]You can't get yourself up for God.
[60:23]Switch the strategy at the time of salah.
[60:28]Where would the imam want to see me at the time of
[60:33]when it's hard to get up?
[60:35]Yeah.
[60:35]In the cold nights especially.
[60:39]And he says when you stand on that prayer of salah you
[60:45]give respect to the word of the imam and the prophet.
[60:50]You want to respect the imam.
[60:53]You want to respect Allah then do not negate their or ignore
[60:57]their commands by sleeping through that.
[61:01]It is as if unfortunately we have negated that command.
[61:05]Every day is a test of loyalty.
[61:09]What do I do Christmas Eve when all work companies will call
[61:12]you for dinners and parties and meetings and whatnot that have alcohol?
[61:15]What do I do?
[61:17]Where is the loyalty?
[61:18]And nobody said it's going to be easy.
[61:20]Loyalty requires sacrifice.
[61:24]Abul gave Allah, you know what he gave?
[61:27]He gave everything he had.
[61:31]Loyalty required.
[61:32]Of course, the level of Abul Fazul is something that you and
[61:35]I can never even compre comprehend or even reach.
[61:41]At most, you and I can become loyal and will be known
[61:48]through loyalty.
[61:48]Whereas Abbas had reached a rank where loyalty was known through him.
[61:54]You know, you mention somebody such as mashallah, he's a charitable person.
[61:59]He gives a lot to the Hussein.
[62:02]He gives a lot.
[62:00]He does a lot of mashallah.
[62:05]He recites the dua every Thursday.
[62:08]He had a good his pronunciation is very good.
[62:14]So he's known they are known through things.
[62:17]They're known through characteristics.
[62:20]Whereas waf loyalty is a characteristics which was known through Abul.
[62:31]And it was that which was instilled within him by his mother
[62:36]in the very first day when she enters the house of imm
[62:40]says do not call them brothers.
[62:43]What should we call them?
[62:46]Call them say what father Abbas was taught and his brothers were
[62:52]taught not even addressed to them as brothers.
[62:55]that loyalty had reached a level where Abbas would not see anything
[62:59]except that he would see Hussein before it, Hussein within it and
[63:02]Hussein after it.
[63:04]Death, you know, sometimes when you see death, it scares you.
[63:12]It's natural.
[63:14]Something really shocks you.
[63:16]I could have died.
[63:18]Something could have happened.
[63:18]You see why?
[63:20]And you and you and you ask them why, what happened?
[63:24]He says, I saw death.
[63:24]I look death in the eye.
[63:25]How many times people say that?
[63:26]They go through experiences.
[63:29]Abbas would not even see death because of his loyalty.
[63:35]He would only see Hussein.
[63:38]And when you understand that, you understand Bani.
[63:42]You know why?
[63:43]You know what the narration say?
[63:45]Keep loyalty in mind.
[63:49]Quickly on death.
[63:49]Death the narrations of Masumin.
[63:52]Death is nothing but a bridge that you cross from this duny
[63:55]into the other.
[63:56]Death is something that comes to you every night when you sleep.
[64:01]Except that the other death will be longer from the 50 m.
[64:06]Death for the mmin is freedom from the prison.
[64:09]Yeah, you have all these narrations on death.
[64:13]Death is like a sweet fragrance for the mmin.
[64:16]Dress is like death is like taking off old clothes and putting
[64:23]on new clothes for the m and vice versa for the kafir.
[64:26]Taking off good clothes and putting on old attire.
[64:32]Death for the m is the best time of his life and
[64:36]for the kafir the worst type time of his life.
[64:39]Okay.
[64:40]So there all these narrations.
[64:41]Now imagine if death for the M is this then what death
[64:47]would be for somebody who's a Shahid Hussein this is this is
[64:55]for the M this is not for Abul or even Banim this
[64:59]is for a M if we reach that level even we can
[65:03]have that question then Why fear of death?
[65:14]When loyalty drops, the fear of death increases.
[65:22]And when loyalty increases, the fear of death decreases until it diminishes
[65:27]until it's gone.
[65:29]You see, and you've probably seen this in in in your life
[65:35]with people who have passed.
[65:37]Good people can have a good death and good people can have
[65:42]a bad death.
[65:42]Somebody dies in the community for example, he died very easy.
[65:49]Mashallah, he died in his sleep.
[65:50]But how many times have you heard of fighting for for they're
[65:56]fighting in to die with the R is really struggling to come
[66:00]out and the last few moments of Sakarat M are the most
[66:08]difficult.
[66:06]We've seen this.
[66:09]Sometimes the mment dies at peace.
[66:14]Sometimes if there are sins on the shoulders of the moment, Allahh
[66:18]sometimes increases that last moment of death that pain of death or
[66:26]he will give them a sickness so that through that suffering he
[66:32]cleanses them before they enter the next world.
[66:33]sometimes is a mmin because Allah does not want to out of
[66:40]his mercy punish the m in hereafter maybe he will inflict a
[66:48]sickness and even within sickness there's rahma of Allah why because the
[66:53]narration say a night in fever you spend a night in fever
[66:59]it removes sins sins shed like leaves shed head from the tree.
[67:05]So even in that there is a rahma.
[67:09]You might say how zah but no we see we we see
[67:16]zah because we see the sweat of the fever.
[67:17]We don't see the rahma that is behind the veil and these
[67:22]things are like that and then narration say because of his last
[67:27]few days that he or she has spent and when the r
[67:30]is extracted Allah makes the next steps easier but then you can
[67:34]have a bad person have a bad death and also a bad
[67:38]person have a good death.
[67:40]He was a tyrant.
[67:43]He was a viol and he died at peace.
[67:47]A bad person dying a bad death makes sense.
[67:50]Doesn't need explanation.
[67:53]But a bad person dying a good death.
[67:55]It is possible that that bad person, even though he's a tyrant,
[68:01]may have done something good in his life.
[68:03]But because a tyrant is hellbound, Allah doesn't want to give him
[68:09]that Allah is just.
[68:09]He's got to give anybody who does an atom's weight of good
[68:13]shall see it.
[68:13]Doesn't matter who he is.
[68:16]He could be the tyrant.
[68:17]It could be if he has done good, you're going to see
[68:23]it.
[68:23]But what Allah does, he gives it to them in so that
[68:29]in now they have to face what they earned by the and
[68:37]the oppression.
[68:38]And so sometimes the death of the bad people can become easier.
[68:42]But then there is another death unlike any other death which is
[68:48]a mouth of shahada.
[68:51]This type of death the way it has been praised in Islam
[68:58]has not been praised anywhere else.
[69:00]Martrdom within the religion of Islam to the extent that all of
[69:05]our 14 infallibus are either killed by the sword or by the
[69:10]poison.
[69:11]None of them leaves this except or this is the best death.
[69:16]This is the best form of martr which Allah subhana t has
[69:21]given to his some of his and some of the some of
[69:28]the pious when loyalty reaches a level where it's maximized and death
[69:38]has no meaning and so every day you and I are trained
[69:43]pray your salah you're trained pay You're trained when you can every
[69:52]now and then try to get up forat you train the willpower.
[69:56]People say how do you train the willpower is one of the
[70:01]best ways to train the willpower.
[70:04]I do not want to get up but I will have that
[70:11]willpower and get up.
[70:11]It's a train.
[70:14]It's a training.
[70:16]It's a form of a a training.
[70:18]And so when loyalty now look at the companions of Imam Hussein
[70:23]look at al that reached the level that one of them as
[70:26]young as 13 says death to me is sweeter than honey.
[70:39]Why?
[70:36]Oh by God.
[70:40]Oh uncle Hussein, if it's for your Nusra, if it's for your
[70:43]sake, if it's to help you seize death, sweeter than honey or
[70:54]in today's terminology, sweeter than candy because those children used to eat
[70:57]honey, right?
[70:59]Today they eat sweets and candy.
[71:01]Some of the am said this sentence also speaks of how young
[71:07]Kasim was.
[71:09]Yes.
[71:10]Or that moment when asks his father or father are we not
[71:20]on the truth?
[71:20]Look at the loyalty.
[71:22]He says of course son if we're not on the on the
[71:26]hak then who is?
[71:28]Then he says then oh father I do not worry if death
[71:30]befalls upon us or we fall upon death.
[71:33]If death comes to us or we go to death, it doesn't
[71:39]matter.
[71:39]The level of loyalty was such in the companions of Imam Hussein.
[71:44]If we're killed, burnt to ashes, those ashes are thrown into the
[71:50]air 1,000 times.
[71:51]Hussein, we won't leave you.
[71:59]Yahus, these are the companions.
[72:01]the statements of companions from the night of Ash and the Mak.
[72:06]So why is it that man fears death?
[72:11]You know why man fears death?
[72:12]One of the gives she kar he gives an example.
[72:18]He's a muas of the Quran.
[72:18]He says imagine in today's world if you want to give an
[72:20]example of today's life imagine a driver who drives a very expensive
[72:28]car.
[72:27]He's scared to crash it.
[72:30]He's scared somebody else might crash it.
[72:32]And if it's crashed, it's gone.
[72:33]It's done.
[72:34]He's lost everything.
[72:35]Especially if he's worked hard saving over the years to buy himself
[72:38]a very expensive car, you know, a Lamborghini, a Ferrari or whatever.
[72:43]He becomes fearful of driving.
[72:47]Sometimes fear of something else.
[72:51]Doesn't know where he's going.
[72:54]Doesn't know the route.
[72:55]Phone is dead.
[72:58]No connection.
[72:56]sometimes fear of losing uh you know losing out on the mileage
[73:04]or petrol is finished I won't get to the petrol station different
[73:09]reason different reasons why the driver fears driving he fears that if
[73:13]that car is damaged it's gone it's finished in the same way
[73:18]insan fears death because he thinks death is the end.
[73:26]Yet the companions of Imam Hussein show us that death is not
[73:31]the end.
[73:32]Death is just the beginning.
[73:34]The level of loyalty increases, the more the love for Imam Hussein
[73:40]increases and real love brings in brings in action.
[73:47]It brings in deeds.
[73:48]You know your love.
[73:51]One of the says something beautiful.
[73:52]He says the 12th I im you pray for his return.
[73:57]He says yes.
[73:56]He says if you have never shed tears for your separation for
[74:01]the 12th I imam then you have truly never missed him.
[74:04]Because when you miss somebody you shed tears for them.
[74:08]If we haven't if I haven't shed tears for the 12th I
[74:14]imam then truly I haven't missed him yet.
[74:19]Love if it intensifies and increases loyalty and it causes one to
[74:28]spring up in action.
[74:30]Love of the 12th Imam.
[74:33]Where is my loyalty to the 12th Imam?
[74:36]Friday dua.
[74:35]How many times or forget Friday every morning?
[74:41]One salam to the 12th im.
[74:42]How long does that take?
[74:45]My loyalty to Im Hussein.
[74:48]How many times do I go to Kbala?
[74:51]What efforts do I take to go to Kbala?
[74:55]to go and visit the holy you know z visitation of the
[75:01]is a physical representation of your loyalty to the im that you're
[75:06]visiting that this is my loyalty towards you when you stand in
[75:20]front of the grave of Im Hussein and you recite the salam
[75:24]you give him the salam this is a sign of my loyalty
[75:25]towards the holy Imam.
[75:30]A sign of the loyalty of Omul Banin towards the cause of
[75:35]Imam and Hussein was that she gave her sons and she never
[75:40]even asked about them from a young age is how she trained
[75:44]her sons.
[75:44]I give you a narration before I my time is reaching an
[75:47]end before I give you m Wasam is sitting and his sons
[76:00]are in front of his young sons.
[76:02]Abu F Abbas, his brothers, the sons of Bani, Imam Hussein, Im
[76:09]Hassan.
[76:12]The narration says in the book that Imam Hussein becomes thirsty.
[76:20]Abul Favl springs up and he runs towards his mother Omul Banin
[76:26]in the house.
[76:27]That's how she trains.
[76:29]Look how she trains them from a young age.
[76:31]And he says, "Oh mother, my master has become thirsty.
[76:35]She gets up." The narration says, "She gets up with speed.
[76:40]She rushes.
[76:41]She brings out a pot of water and she gives it to
[76:46]her son.
[76:46]She takes this he he takes this pot of water and he
[76:51]rushes back to Imam Hussein.
[76:54]And as he rush rushes back, this water is spilling on him.
[76:57]His clothes have become wet.
[76:57]Imm looks at his son Abd and he says to him it
[77:08]is as if looked at him and from he thought of Kbala
[77:13]because he knew about Kbala when he returned from he passed through
[77:18]and he cried for Kbala.
[77:20]He had that in his im.
[77:26]But look at how instills that loyalty.
[77:31]This is your im.
[77:32]Whatever small you can do for your IM, do it.
[77:35]You can take him water today.
[77:36]Abasco, go take him water.
[77:39]And if you can give your hands tomorrow, then give your arms
[77:42]for Hussein.
[77:44]Whatever small I can do today.
[77:48]One of the says something beautiful.
[77:51]He says, "Every Friday must on the Friday to give sodaka." This
[77:54]is every Friday make it a habit when you give sodaka for
[77:58]yourself and your family members.
[78:00]Include in that sodaka the 12th I im what is the harm
[78:08]in that?
[78:07]Give sodak on his behalf.
[78:10]do something for the 12th I im give it and to the
[78:12]12th I im two units of prayer salat to the 12th I
[78:19]im in the morning or in the evening at and give it
[78:24]as a gift some of the say recite three times our teachers
[78:30]used to say three times and give it as a gift to
[78:34]imm What else could you and I really give to the imams?
[78:44]What do we have to give to them?
[78:49]Nothing.
[78:48]The hands are empty.
[78:52]And yet the book of deeds of bad deeds are is full.
[78:57]We have nothing to offer them except tears.
[79:01]For so when we gather and we commemorate in his malis we
[79:05]shed tears with the hope that with these tears Allah will wash
[79:08]off my sins as he says and I always narrate this he
[79:13]says on the day of judgment I have nothing to show Allah
[79:17]I have I don't have deeds I have no guarantee of my
[79:21]prayers and fasts and hajj and zakat but there is one thing
[79:25]that I can guarantee Hussein that was not you can force force
[79:35]someone to pray.
[79:33]Get up.
[79:35]It's fudger.
[79:36]You can force someone to do the ibad.
[79:37]But you cannot force anyone to shed a tear for Hussein.
[79:41]This is why the tear has so much value that the one
[79:46]who sheds a tear even if it's the size of a mosquito's
[79:49]wing.
[79:50]The hadith says the one who cries, the one who makes somebody
[80:00]cry.
[80:00]And if you cannot cry, the hadith, this is important.
[80:04]Either you cry, well and good.
[80:08]Or you recite something, you make others cry.
[80:10]But the hadith says, if you're not one of those two, you're
[80:16]not crying and you're not a zer or a moolah who recides
[80:21]to make others cry, then be one of the third ones.
[80:25]The third category, what is that?
[80:26]He says, make a face as if you're crying.
[80:29]Show expressions of grief.
[80:32]Don't just sit there.
[80:32]Make expression of grief.
[80:35]This is the maj of Imam Hussein.
[80:38]Look down.
[80:39]Look sad.
[80:38]I can't cry.
[80:40]To be honest, if one cannot cry, just that thought should bring
[80:43]tears to my eyes.
[80:45]Why can not can I not cry would say when you sit
[80:52]on the maj Allah give me to shed a tear tonight.
[80:58]Allah where do I begin the ma of may Allah take you
[81:08]to jataki may Allah show us that day when there are domes
[81:12]on the of this is a lady who without a doubt occupies
[81:21]the highest rank after fatima from amongst the awaj oh shia When
[81:29]the caravan of Imam Sajad and BB Zab returns to Medina, Imam
[81:36]stops outside of Medina and he calls Bish.
[81:39]Oh Bish, your father was a poet.
[81:42]Do you recite something from poetry or not?
[81:48]He says I can recite some poem.
[81:52]He says go to Medina and recite a Marcia for my father
[81:55]Hussein.
[81:56]And you know the Marcia is famous.
[82:01]He comes rushing to Medina and he comes where?
[82:02]He comes in that malah known as the mal of hashim and
[82:07]he says Hussein.
[82:16]He comes to Medina and he says Medina is not the same
[82:26]anymore.
[82:26]They say, "What do you mean the chief of Medina is no
[82:29]more?
[82:30]The master of Medina has been killed.
[82:32]The elder of Medina is no more.
[82:34]They say, "What do you mean?" He says, "Kutil Hussein.
[82:39]They have killed Aba Abdullah." And he recites and he recites until
[82:43]he passes by the house of Amir where Ali used to live.
[82:50]Imm.
[82:48]And he passes by the homes of B.
[82:52]And he passes by the house where there is a daughter by
[82:54]the name of Fatima also known in the by the Arabs as
[82:59]Fatima.
[83:03]There is a lady that comes out and she says, "Oh Bisher,
[83:08]come closer." He comes closer.
[83:09]What news do you bring of Kbala?
[83:12]He says, "Oh lady, who are you?" She says, "I am Omul
[83:17]Banin.
[83:18]I am the mother of Abul Father." He says, May Allah accept
[83:23]your tears tonight.
[83:25]May Allah take you to Karbala.
[83:26]He says, "Oh, may Allah give you.
[83:31]Your son Jaffer was killed on the plains of Kbala." She says,
[83:37]"No, Jaffer.
[83:36]I didn't ask you about Jaffur." He says, "Your son Abdullah was
[83:43]killed." One by one he names the son and he says your
[83:46]son Abah gave every drop of his blood for Abdullah.
[83:51]She says, "No, Hussein, tell me what happened to my master Hussein.
[84:00]The news reaches Fatima." You know this ban, by the way, she
[84:08]was someone who would go into Bak and she would dig the
[84:11]graves and she would make four graves.
[84:13]Marwan says this, Marwan.
[84:16]He says, "One day I was passing by a baki.
[84:18]I saw there was a woman who was crying and her lamenting
[84:24]brought tears to my eyes.
[84:25]I've never seen anybody cry like that.
[84:27]She's sitting in Bak and she said she sheds tears.
[84:31]He says I wanted to go and see who it was.
[84:35]He says I entered the graveyard of Baki.
[84:38]I came closer.
[84:37]What did I hear?
[84:39]I see there is a lady who cries and she says, "Oh
[84:41]people of Medina, oh woman of Medina, do not call me Banan
[84:49]anymore.
[84:49]Why?
[84:50]Because Omul Banin is the mother of sons.
[84:53]I do not have any sons.
[84:55]Jawadi says this that Omul Banin Marcia would say this.
[84:59]You know, she would cry and she would turn towards Karbala and
[85:02]she would say this.
[85:04]She would say, "Oh, Abas, I heard that you held the water
[85:07]bag with your teeth." Oh, Abas, why would you hold the water
[85:13]bag with your teeth?
[85:14][laughter] Who would tell Banin what happened to Abul Fuzler?
[85:18]Why did Abbas hold the water bag with his teeth?
[85:23]You know, oh Shia, Abbas did not have any arms to hold
[85:30]the water bag.
[85:29]It was two reasons he didn't let it go.
[85:33]one because Abul Abbas had promised that as long as he lives
[85:43]he will make sure the water reaches the tents.
[85:47]What is the other?
[85:47]The other is that Abbas initially was holding the bag with his
[85:50]hands and yet when it was the strike of the enemies when
[85:56]he lost his arms it is then then the water B bag
[86:01]falls to the ground.
[86:00]I leave you with this Allah.
[86:03]News reaches the house of Muhammad Iban Hanafi.
[86:07]News reaches the house of Omul Banin and Fatima to Alilah.
[86:14]This Fatima comes to her uncle Muhammad Hanafi.
[86:18]Who is he?
[86:17]Is the son of Amir Alman is the brother of Im Hashin.
[86:21]She says she comes into the room.
[86:24]What does he see?
[86:24]Muhammad Hanafi is sleeping.
[86:27]She says, "Oh uncle, wake up.
[86:29]There is news from Kerbala.
[86:30]He says, "What do you mean?" He says, "Somebody just walked by
[86:36]and says, "Hussein, my father is no more." It is says he
[86:40]jumps up and he falls to the ground.
[86:41]He says, "Oh, my child, what do you what are you saying?"
[86:46]He says, she says, "Yes, oh uncle, somebody walked by and he
[86:50]recited something from my father." What did he say?
[86:54]He says, "Hussein's head was severed and raised onto the spears.
[87:00]I leave you with this.
[87:03]He mounts the horse.
[87:03]Where are outside of Medina?
[87:07]He mounts the horse until he reaches the caravan of Imad.
[87:11]Now listen to this final line and I leave you here.
[87:15]When he comes close to Imam Sajad, Imam Sajad recognizes his uncle.
[87:19]But when when Muhammad Hanafi comes close, he doesn't recognize Immad.
[87:25]He says, "Who are you?" Imam Sajjad says, "I am your son,
[87:31]Sajad." You don't recognize your son.
[87:34]How would he recognize his son?
[87:36]His son has been paraded from Kbala to Kufa and Kufa to
[87:40]Sham.
[87:41]His son has seen his women come in front of Yazid and
[87:47]and and the people of Kufa.
[87:47]I leave you with this.
[87:52]When I sad says, "I am your son Sad." Muhammad Iban Hanafi
[87:55]could not bear it.
[87:57]Do you know what happens to him?
[88:00]Grief overtakes him.
[88:00]He faints and he falls to the ground.
[88:02]Immad takes him.
[88:05]But I leave you with this.
[88:07]Oh Muhammad Iban Hanfi, you just heard it and he had taken
[88:14]over you that you could not tolerated.
[88:15]Imagine.
[88:17]Imagine Imad on the night of Ash and Shi what Muhammad Hanfi
[88:25]could not tolerate.
[88:26]Say with her own eyes.
[88:51]forham.
[89:11]fordulus.
[89:34]Hussein outside.
[90:27]So name for God.
