[0:02][Applause] [Music] some people when they look at all that is going

[0:27]on out there in the world the Wars the poverty the oppression

[0:35]the suffering the Injustice they ask where is God some people are

[0:41]personally struggling and they ask where is God I don't feel like

[0:45]he's there with me what's going on sometimes the difficulty of life

[0:50]and the stress on us may make us feel this way how

[0:56]do we address this feeling of emptiness when we wonder where is

[1:01]God here's an interesting example to consider imagine you studied very hard

[1:06]and now you go to your final exam there are some exams

[1:12]that last for hours and hours ask lawyers and some doctors who

[1:16]have passed their exams some of them will tell you I took

[1:21]an exam that lasted 10 hours now imagine you're in that examination

[1:26]Hall and you're taking this critical examine that will determine the fate

[1:32]of your career during those 10 hours your professor is not there

[1:40]with you would it be fair for you to say where is

[1:42]my professor how come when I am taking my exam now my

[1:48]professor is not here with me sharing with me the answers would

[1:50]it be fair to say that if you were to say that

[1:55]your professor will tell you I brought you here I gave you

[1:59]all the tools that you need to succeed in this exam I

[2:02]spent so many hours with you in class before class after class

[2:09]preparing you for this exam but yes today you are on your

[2:11]own life is a trial Allah subhana wa ta'ala has given you

[2:17]the tools to see right from wrong he's given you the tools

[2:21]to achieve success don't expect every day for God to do a

[2:27]miracle for you and to physically intervene in your life so he's

[2:30]there Allah is always there with us but it doesn't mean that

[2:35]we expect miracles every single day because we are taking the exam

[2:39]it is our trial he has given us all the tools that

[2:43]we need to be successful if you are wondering where is God

[2:47]simply look at this universe look at the amazing organization in this

[2:53]universe ask a scientist to describe an Adam for you every Adam

[3:00]knows what it's doing have you ever heard about a confused electron

[3:04]that does not know whether to spin right or to spin left

[3:07]Allah has inspired the entire universe to have this perfect order let

[3:13]that remind you that he's always there the fact that you breathe

[3:19]your heartbeats every cell in your body is functioning that is an

[3:23]indication you have a lord who's guiding you so Allah subhana wa

[3:26]tala is always there even if you go through trials that is

[3:30]why in the month of radan we focus on the Quran the

[3:32]Quran gives us beautiful stories of great Servants of God who really

[3:37]struggled but Allah was with them every step of the way look

[3:44]at Prophet yfam since his childhood he had to deal with great

[3:47]trials his own Brothers ganged up on him they almost tried to

[3:51]kill him they threw him in a well but Allah was with

[3:56]him guiding him for that future then he was sold as a

[4:01]slave then he went to Egypt and the whole misery with Z

[4:03]started and then 7 years he was imprisoned some may may wonder

[4:09]where is God but Allah shows you the ending Allah subhana T

[4:12]shows you what he had prepared for Prophet YF Alam when he

[4:17]became the great minister of Egypt and then Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

[4:20]reunited him with his father with his family and his legacy until

[4:28]today continues to inspire us Allah is always there with with us

[4:32]just open your heart remove that negative mental chatter avoid those distractions

[4:38]and you'll feel him every moment in your day take a deep

[4:41]breath and say Allah is with me and you'll feel his presence
