[0:05][clears throat] [clears throat] Alhamdulillah.
[0:22]Alhamdulillah.
[0:55]Muhammad.
[0:58]Allah.
[0:59]That's right.
[1:47]For the purification of the souls, the enlightenment of the hearts, the
[1:51]acceptance of the deeds and for the hastening of the reappearance of
[1:57]the awaited savior for Sharif.
[1:58]Enlighten your souls and the atmosphere with the recitation of salawat upon
[2:03]Muhammad Ali Muhammadu.
[2:10]Respected elders, sisters and brothers, this virtue indicates the excellence of the
[2:21]spirituality of the holy lady of light.
[2:23]It's a quality that she has been named after.
[2:28]And one of the names that she's known is related to the
[2:35]displaying of this act of devotion.
[2:36]And it's an act of worship that you and I sometimes struggle
[2:39]needing inspiration from role models like the holy daughter of the holy
[2:45]prophet of Islam.
[2:48]The salah of is an outstanding demonstration of the excellence of this
[3:09]human being.
[3:11]Many a times when you and I come forward to analyze and
[3:16]to look at some of the blessings that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
[3:21]has granted us for example the ability to live in a country
[3:24]whereby we are able to hold malis not to have any fear
[3:30]for example that these malis will not be allowed or for instance
[3:34]to wake up in the morning and have the ability to go
[3:38]to work or to school or to college.
[3:40]Many times we wake up in the morning and we recognize these
[3:42]blessings and say alhamdulillah many a times we take them for granted
[3:47]because without a shadow of a doubt we need to remember Allah
[3:52]subhana wa ta'ala's blessings what is the greatest blessing that Allah has
[3:56]given you and I we have to recognize this we have to
[3:59]know so that in the morning we are able to say alhamdulillah
[4:03]when we remember this blessing is it wealth is it health is
[4:07]it for example family.
[4:10]The holy six imbu one day asked somebody he said what's the
[4:21]greatest blessing that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has granted you so the
[4:25]man said health imam said that's fine but it's greater the man
[4:30]said wealth imam said it's greater he listed all the good things
[4:33]that you and I think that we have imis said is greater
[4:38]the man said I don't know you Tell me.
[4:40]Imm said, "Have you not read the Quran?" What is it?
[4:42]He said, "Allah says, speak to people about one favor of Allah."
[4:49]In Arabic, there is the plural, which is and there is the
[4:54]what singular, which is speak to people about one favor, one one.
[4:59]So, this has to be better than the others.
[5:03]It must stand out.
[5:05]He says, "But I don't know which favor this is." He says,
[5:09]"The answer is also in the Quran." Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says
[5:14]in today I have perfected your religion and I have completed my
[5:27]favor upon you.
[5:30]He uses the word and he says today the has been perfected.
[5:34]So when Allah says today the has indeed now reached the maximum
[5:39]that according to the Quran and in the word of that blessing
[5:45]that favor of Allah which is the greatest according to Im is
[5:50]the of the demonstration of the presence in The males of the
[6:06]holy lady of light the remembrance of the B is all manifestations
[6:09]of being grateful and expressing gratitude to Allah subhana wa ta'ala for
[6:13]the path of wa to say ya Allah alhamdulillah that I am
[6:16]following these holy individuals.
[6:20]One of the key aspects however is I need to look at
[6:22]areas in my life that I'm struggling and ask the question what
[6:25]would Ali Muhammad do what tips have they given me?
[6:30]What can I utilize to inspire myself and inspire others without shadow
[6:34]of a doubt?
[6:36]One of them is salah.
[6:37]Why?
[6:37]Because today you find salah is something that is robotic, something that
[6:42]people perform on a regular basis because it is something you and
[6:47]I have accustomed to performing from a young age.
[6:50]And when it comes to something which is rhythmic and happens on
[6:53]a regular basis, perhaps it loses its value because it becomes a
[7:00]tick list exercise.
[6:59]No doubt salah you and I have been raised to remember its
[7:06]importance.
[7:04]Raised to recognize its significance.
[7:07]Yet the question that we have to ask today is what importance
[7:12]did these prophets and imams including the holy lady of light place
[7:17]upon salah?
[7:19]For example, Ibraimisam, this great prophet of God, when he was commanded
[7:23]by Allah subhana tala to leave his family.
[7:26]Imagine Allah tells you, leave your family in a barren desert.
[7:29]There's nothing.
[7:30]And now you have to leave your wife and your son and
[7:35]leave them.
[7:34]Let Allah look after them.
[7:37]What would be the first dua that you'd ask Allah?
[7:38]There is no food.
[7:41]There's no water.
[7:41]There's no security.
[7:42]It's an empty place.
[7:45]There is a foundation of the cabba and that's it.
[7:48]So most of us would ask Allah what?
[7:52]Ya Allah please keep them alive.
[7:54]Give them some food.
[7:55]Allow them what?
[7:58]Some sustenance.
[7:57]GET PEOPLE TO PROTECT THEM.
[7:59]YOU AND I would praying for this isn't it?
[8:01]Some of us travel when we travel we ask ya Allah please
[8:05]our families we entrust our families to you.
[8:08]You protect them.
[8:08]Ibrahim didn't ask.
[8:10]What did he ask?
[8:12]What was the dua of Ibraim when he left his family?
[8:17]Yes.
[8:21]Ya Allah, I've left my family here.
[8:24]I want one thing, just one thing to start off with.
[8:27]That's all I care about.
[8:29]I want them to pray.
[8:30]That's it.
[8:36]Then after they establish salah, then it's okay.
[8:40]I will now want to ask Allah please fulfill their physical needs.
[8:46]The moment their spiritual needs are fulfilled, I'm okay because thereafter you
[8:51]will definitely look after them because they have demonstrated their devotion to
[8:56]you.
[8:56]Isn't it?
[8:57]That's why the dua of Ibraim was what?
[9:00]The dua of continuously was how many times when we go you
[9:10]stand before the shrine of shrine of insh you stand there these
[9:20]holy sites what is your dua what is the dua that you
[9:24]ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala yes these prophets would come forward and
[9:28]tell you and I one One of the most fundamental elements to
[9:30]establish is not only our prayers, not my salah.
[9:35]Ya Allah, please make my salah better.
[9:37]I want to be able to achieve focus.
[9:39]I want attentiveness.
[9:40]I want salah to be looked after.
[9:45]No, no, no, no.
[9:44]They had vision.
[9:48]Is what is the son of Ibraim?
[9:49]What does he ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala?
[9:54]In the Holy Quran, we are told Allah says, remember he was
[9:59]a prophet and he was a rasool learned from his father.
[10:10]He used to command his family to pray.
[10:14]So now Ibraim's dua has been answered continuously.
[10:18]Ya Allah make me of those who establish the prayers and my
[10:23]progeny the not doesn't mean my children it means generations that come
[10:27]after me therefore the first idea that emerges from the Quran and
[10:30]the practice of the prophets is salah is not about you and
[10:34]I salah is about planting the seeds for generations to come that
[10:38]I am emphasizing for my children and myself leading by example because
[10:43]in maybe 1,000 years those who establish the salah may be here
[10:49]in Minneapolis, Minnesota or anywhere else is because of my attention to
[10:55]salah.
[10:53]It's because of my effort.
[10:57]Yes.
[10:58]Don't take it lightly.
[10:58]These efforts that you and I may be putting.
[11:02]Yes.
[11:02]That's why the holy prophet of Islam sallallam when he speaks about
[11:14]salah it's another level.
[11:15]And you know sometimes we think the have been somehow forced or
[11:20]programmed to love worship.
[11:25]Therefore what Allah subhana wa tala praised them not at all.
[11:30]The relationship with this acts of worship based on the love of
[11:35]Allah and the sweetness of his remembrance.
[11:39]So the prophet of Islam says Allah has made what is beloved
[11:48]to my eyes the salah what I love what brings me happiness
[11:54]and he has placed this love of salah in my heart why
[12:00]because because I want it so he has expanded it he says
[12:06]when someone's hungry What do they usually want?
[12:09]Food.
[12:10]He says, "Allah has programmed the human being who's hungry to ask
[12:14]for food." He said, "When I am in need, I ask for
[12:19]salah.
[12:20]That's my need." Yes.
[12:19]When someone's thirsty, they ask for water.
[12:23]He says, "But when someone's hungry, when they eat, they get full.
[12:27]When someone's thirsty, they drink, they are satisfied." He said, "Every time
[12:33]I come, every time I pray, I am still in need and
[12:37]I wish to pray more.
[12:40]I wish to pray more." One of the sets a line a
[12:44]few years ago when I read it in the book, it shook
[12:49]me.
[12:49]It really is a very difficult line to absorb and a very
[12:53]difficult test to apply in our lives.
[12:56]If you're going to switch off for the rest of the lecture,
[12:58]just listen to this line and think about it for the rest
[13:02]rest of the next few days.
[13:04]He says, if you want to examine whether you love Allah and
[13:10]want to be somebody whom Allah loves, examine your relationship with salah.
[13:18]If you hate it or it's a burden or when you hear
[13:22]the adan or it's time of salah not this again then there
[13:27]is a big problem of your relationship with Allah why because what
[13:31]is it that loves he loves the prayers what is it that
[13:35]he has made something that will be first accountable on the day
[13:39]of it's salah isn't it the holy prophet of Islam says the
[13:42]first thing we'll be asked if it's accepted everything is accepted if
[13:47]it's rejected everything else is rejected yes We are told from a
[13:50]young age the foundation of religion.
[13:51]I ask you when we're born what's the first thing that we
[13:53]are told to do.
[13:55]Yes.
[13:56]And that it happens before salah.
[13:58]When we die what happens.
[14:01]It encapsulates our lives from the beginning and at the end.
[14:06]Allah is telling you AND I LISTEN.
[14:10]I HAVE PROGRAMMED you created you with this need.
[14:12]You need you need it and I love it.
[14:15]Now if you begin to resist that highlights what that there is
[14:20]work to be done there is what effort that needs to be
[14:23]placed.
[14:23]That's why on that night as when he stopped to perform his
[14:40]salah and someone came to him and said yeah Ali we're really
[14:43]not in the right time.
[14:46]He said then why are we fighting them to establish this very
[14:50]prayer?
[14:51]Yes.
[14:52]that when I imm says that the holy second Imam when he
[14:58]hears his time for salah his knees and his elbows would shake
[15:07]in anticipation of standing before the eve of the day of one
[15:14]of the biggest demonstrations of the love of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
[15:19]was what say's devotion to his prayers that despite the arrows being
[15:25]showered, he would look at the individual who recited the adan and
[15:28]said it's time for salah, he says the salah.
[15:33]Now imagine this this man who was one of the companions of
[15:37]the holy imam is saying it's time for prayers.
[15:40]What's the dua of the imam for him?
[15:43]He's going to attain shahada in five minutes.
[15:44]This man he said it's time for salah.
[15:47]Imam said well done.
[15:50]YOU'VE REMEMBERED SALAH.
[15:49]MAY ALLAH GIVE YOU JENNA.
[15:52]NO.
[15:53]MAY ALLAH MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL.
[15:54]NO.
[15:54]Says may Allah make you of those who establish salah.
[15:56]Even though he's five minutes because it's a very lofty status.
[16:05]IT IS SOMETHING THAT IS DESIRABLE.
[16:07]It is something that you and I need to seek to attain.
[16:10]Yes.
[16:10]And therefore I'd like to ask the very important question and that
[16:14]is how was the salah of this holy lady.
[16:27]And I'd like to analyze this by asking a number of questions.
[16:33]Number one, what does she say is a sign that I am
[16:37]on the right track and I have understood why salah is waj
[16:40]how do I know that this has impacted in my life what's
[16:46]her words number two how does she diagnose an illness related to
[16:50]salah number three how is she named after salah which name of
[16:54]is related to her prayers number four what recommended deeds needs related
[17:04]to salah are named after or were given to her.
[17:08]And number five, what did she do before she left this world?
[17:11]And how is it that you and I can be inspired by
[17:15]the daughter of the holy prophet, the wife of and the mother
[17:20]of Alass Hussein.
[17:29]Two days ago, I was holding a marriage workshop in Manchester, UK.
[17:36]And when I was holding the marriage workshop for couples in order
[17:40]to strengthen their marital relationship, one of the participants put his hands
[17:46]up towards the end of the event on Sunday and he said,
[17:48]"Look, I have a question.
[17:52]My question is why is Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala made the wife who
[17:57]loses her husband gain only an eighth of his inheritance?" One over
[18:02]eight.
[18:03]Why?
[18:04]She needs more.
[18:07]Surely how would she survive?
[18:08]Right?
[18:08]There are many out there today who are asking questions related to
[18:12]the laws of Allah subhana wa ta'ala.
[18:14]Why is this this?
[18:16]Why is it this?
[18:16]Why is it not like this?
[18:17]Because of course we look at it from our perspective, from our
[18:21]lens.
[18:22]We would like to explain it from our intellect, from the way
[18:25]we have been raised or the society, the way it's impacted us.
[18:28]Right?
[18:29]This is known as the reasoning behind or the logic behind rulings.
[18:34]Right?
[18:34]And at the end of the day, we are told by the
[18:39]Quran and hadith of the B that many of times it's beyond
[18:41]our comprehension.
[18:42]Many a times we are not able to explain part of the
[18:48]creation of Allah.
[18:48]That's the wisdom doesn't want us to know some of the details.
[18:53]However, sometimes some of the deeds he has also informed us through
[18:57]the words of the including the famous sermon known as of the
[19:03]holy lady Fatma peace be upon her.
[19:04]But it's not only about because many of times you look at
[19:09]this sermon and you recognize that she speaks about so many other
[19:13]aspects strengthening the beliefs and of the people.
[19:17]One of the things that she talks about is why Allah subhana
[19:20]wa ta'ala has made certain things and what do they achieve?
[19:29]For example, he she comes forward and says what?
[19:33]What?
[19:39]has been made something for you so that you attain some certainty
[19:45]or she comes forward and says Allah has made fasting.
[19:50]So when you fast you observe sincerity.
[19:54]Why?
[19:56]Because usually people don't know you're fasting.
[19:59]So you do not like salah for example or other acts they
[20:04]cannot necessarily figure out that they're fasting.
[20:06]One day somebody came to a mosque during the day and saw
[20:13]someone praying in the mosque.
[20:14]He left at night he came back saw same person praying by
[20:16]themselves.
[20:17]said mashallah this person such a good mumen always I find them
[20:24]in mosque always praying that person whilst they're praying they stop their
[20:27]prayers they looked at them and said by the way today I
[20:29]was also fasting huh so when you don't tell people that you're
[20:34]fasting right they would not know they would not be able to
[20:41]figure out comes forward and says why Allah one of one one
[20:44]of the reasons why salah has been legislated And a sign for
[20:53]its acceptance in our lives is what?
[20:56]What?
[20:59]Allah has made salah obligatory so that you distance yourself away and
[21:07]you purify your hearts from arrogance.
[21:10]The idea that emerges is what that many times in Islamic teachings,
[21:15]we are told there's a correlation between worship and the way we
[21:20]perform our duties and responsibilities in society, the way we interact with
[21:24]others, relationships and so on and so forth.
[21:27]The recognition here is say that comes forward and said if you
[21:30]want to know your salah whether your salah is something that Allah
[21:35]subhana wa ta'ala accepts whether your salah is meaningful notice how you
[21:41]view other human beings and how you deal with other human beings
[21:45]meaning what the first creation of God who displayed the sin of
[21:50]arrogance without shadow doubt yes when he says men I am better
[21:57]than he when it came to Adam.
[22:00]The holy prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam informs you and I says listen
[22:11]by the way there are so many times the speak about the
[22:14]importance of humility humbleness it's not a joke he says anyone who
[22:20]has an ounce in their heart of arrogance will not enter Jenna
[22:25]will not taste the pleasures of paradise Likewise, the holy six im
[22:32]says on the day of there are millions of years of waiting
[22:35]for some people until they get the accountability.
[22:39]Right?
[22:40]He says those who are those who are arrogant, Allah will create
[22:46]them in the size of a small meaning like an atom really
[22:52]small and will ask everyone to stamp on them on the day
[22:56]of.
[22:56]But that's not all.
[22:59]They will wait until everyone has been judged.
[23:00]They're the last to be judged because in dunya you thought you
[23:08]were someone.
[23:06]Now let's see if you are someone.
[23:10]The recognition that emerges is what is that there are strong position
[23:17]in the religion of Islam regarding the state of our heart when
[23:20]it comes to who we are.
[23:21]how Allah subhana t has created us comes forward and says I'm
[23:27]surprised about the human being they're created as a piece of cloth
[23:31]and they die and there is a stench and in between those
[23:36]they think that they what they are something right the recognition that
[23:40]say wants us to begin to understand is many times people ask
[23:44]the question my salah how do I know if it's accepted how
[23:48]do I know Allah subhana t has given it a tick look
[23:52]at your conduct God.
[23:52]Look at how you view others.
[23:53]What do we mean?
[23:55]Why are people arrogant?
[23:55]By the way, there are many reasons.
[23:57]One of the reasons is because of self admiration.
[24:01]They love themselves more than others.
[24:03]They think of themselves more than others.
[24:06]Similarly, another reason is they're self-insufficient.
[24:08]They're not satisfied with themselves.
[24:10]So, they want to exert themselves over others or think that they
[24:13]are in a better position.
[24:15]Likewise, another reasons they may have hatred or envy towards other human
[24:19]beings or they want to show off ostentation ri these are possible
[24:23]examples and there are others but the question is I have to
[24:30]scrutinize my heart.
[24:28]Is my salah impacting my is it impacting my relationship with my
[24:33]husband or my wife or with my father or mother or with
[24:38]my children or my colleague at work or anyone in the street
[24:41]or anyone I see anywhere in the restaurant whatever is it impacting
[24:50]or not?
[24:47]Do I see myself better than them or not?
[24:51]This is important because this could be a trap of Shayan for
[24:58]the believers.
[24:56]You and I automatically when we see individuals who are non-believers, the
[25:02]first thing we think is I'm better.
[25:04]I'm going jah.
[25:07]They're not going.
[25:06]I'm okay.
[25:07]I'm a I'm in the path of Ali.
[25:10]I'm in the path OF B.
[25:14]BUT YOU KNOW them see you in that's what we think, right?
[25:17]Or for example, we go we see other Muslims think a see
[25:24]I have been blessed to know Hussein but they haven't.
[25:26]Look at me.
[25:28]I'm saved.
[25:29]They're not.
[25:30]It's possible.
[25:32]Arrogance or not?
[25:36]100%.
[25:34]100% arrogance.
[25:35]Because when the story most of us have heard from a young
[25:38]childhood in Madrasa that Allah says to Musa, go and find somebody
[25:45]or a creation of mine that you think you are better.
[25:47]And he passes by and there is a dog with leprosy.
[25:50]You know the story is.
[25:52]And he doesn't choose the dog because he thinks no.
[25:54]And Allah says to him, "Oh Ms, if you have bought me
[25:58]that dog and you had said you are better than the dog,
[26:04]I would have taken away from you.
[26:05]Dog with leprosy, Allahbar, forget all the people that we see everywhere.
[26:11]Allah is saying, don't even say that you are better than animals
[26:15]that have medical conditions, let alone other human beings.
[26:18]Therefore, if my salah is not impacting this, I have to scrutinize
[26:23]myself." Someone asks but okay what are the signs that I am
[26:29]not arrogant I want to know the barometer the litmus test how
[26:32]do I know if I'm someone who has we are told say
[26:35]there are a few signs this is not exhaustive number one you
[26:39]are very keen to say salam to people before they say salam
[26:43]to you meaning what there are people out there who say I
[26:47]will never say salam until he or she approaches me who are
[26:51]WHY WHY ARE THEY NOT SAYING SALAM TO ME I why I'm
[26:55]not never going to start and initiate the greeting.
[26:59]Yes.
[26:57]For example, another quality of somebody who has taw or humility is
[27:05]what is that they accept criticism.
[27:08]Tough one.
[27:10]Tough one.
[27:12]They accept criticism.
[27:13]Meaning what?
[27:15]Someone comes to them in the most secluded or private.
[27:17]As the 11th im says, if you admonish or advise your brother
[27:22]or sister in public, you have humiliated them.
[27:25]But many a times today, if I'm not happy with someone like
[27:28]a speaker or an or someone in the community, subhan Allah, the
[27:32]social media has now become the platform of slandering people.
[27:37]Immediately I post something.
[27:38]Oh, this this.
[27:40]Have you tried to go to them directly?
[27:43]Have you spoken to them?
[27:44]Message them?
[27:45]Yes.
[27:46]did your duty by making sure that they have what received the
[27:49]message or if they haven't at least you have discharged your responsibility.
[27:52]The idea that emerges is many of times today when somebody comes
[27:56]to give us genuine advice or to tell us what's the first
[28:01]thing people say haram police you are the haram police don't tell
[28:05]me what to do don't advise me don't admonish me you have
[28:12]your religion I have my religion we have developed this thing where
[28:16]this is becoming obsolete and everyone's worried to speak to people in
[28:23]the most humble or the most respectful.
[28:25]Not we are not saying use force or aggression or anger.
[28:28]No.
[28:28]But at the same time there are people who are hesitant to
[28:34]speak about the wrong because why?
[28:36]Because they say this person will be upset.
[28:39]My uncle will never speak to me.
[28:40]My for example friend will sever their relationship.
[28:42]Yes.
[28:43]And therefore what are they doing?
[28:45]Number one, they are depriving themselves of the tawab.
[28:48]Number two, they are not necessarily showing the love to that individual.
[28:53]If they truly love them, they want the best for them.
[28:55]But one of the signs is that we need to encourage acceptance
[29:01]of criticism to encourage that.
[29:03]I remember one person I saw many about 15 20 years ago.
[29:05]I I don't remember seeing again in Stanmore, UK.
[29:09]I was taking my child to the Madrasa there, the Montasauri daily.
[29:14]He saw me.
[29:15]He said, "Brother, I saw you in my dream.
[29:18]Now, this could go anywhere." He said to me, "Brother, I saw
[29:24]you in my dream." I said, "Okay, let's hope it's good." He
[29:29]said, "I went inside the room and I saw you and I
[29:31]believe you are talking to the holy 12th Imam." So, subhan Allah.
[29:36]He said, "You are very engaged with him." So when I came
[29:39]in the room, the imam said salam to me.
[29:42]But you were so fixated on him.
[29:47]You didn't say salam to me.
[29:50]Then I came back to the room and I saw the imam
[29:54]by himself.
[29:56]You are not there anymore.
[29:56]So now you do the tap.
[29:59]You interpret this dream.
[30:01]Yes.
[30:02]I TOOK IT FROM IT.
[30:03]I SAID, "BROTHER, thank you so much.
[30:04]Maybe I need to say salam to more people or to acknowledge
[30:09]more people.
[30:09]This is fine.
[30:10]I will not be offended by it.
[30:11]I will even say it on the member.
[30:15]No problem.
[30:13]The recognition is that the idea that sometimes when somebody comes forward,
[30:18]the holy six, what does he say?
[30:23]That may Allah's mercy be upon the one who gifts me my
[30:29]mistakes.
[30:29]It's a gift.
[30:29]We accept it as a gift and we thank the individual.
[30:33]Therefore, the holy lady of light says, "Look, look at the what?
[30:37]Look at the why because there is a disease that the holy
[30:43]lady speaks about." Please pay attention to this when it comes to
[30:48]salah.
[30:56]Once she's talking to her father, the holy prophet peace be upon
[31:02]him and his family and she says to him, "Please focus on
[31:10]this." The holy lady says, "Oh father, what is the result of
[31:13]somebody who has the the condition, the disease, the spiritual disease of
[31:22]taking their prayers lightly?" The complacency in salah.
[31:26]What does this mean?
[31:29]What is the complacency in salah?
[31:31]Have come forward and said when you and I take our prayers
[31:33]lightly, it manifests in a number of ways.
[31:36]It manifests in the following.
[31:39]First of all, when I am complacent or I am careless in
[31:45]learning the rulings when it comes to and salah, I don't care.
[31:53]Or or I have learned it in Madrasa, but now it's been
[31:55]30 years.
[31:56]God knows what's happened to the knowledge on my head.
[31:58]And now what?
[31:59]And now I think I remember it.
[32:01]I have not refreshed it.
[32:03]I have not asked a question.
[32:05]I have not examined.
[32:05]I have not watched any clip.
[32:08]us.
[32:09]I still remember 30 years ago it was like this and you
[32:11]know I conduct these courses on on andul and and you know
[32:18]one of my favorite phrases people say to me is but I
[32:22]heard I remember I say to them may Allah bless the one
[32:24]who told you I heard is the most devastating line.
[32:27]What do you mean I heard from who?
[32:29]Where did you bring this from?
[32:30]Yes.
[32:31]For example, I give you an example.
[32:33]NOW I COME TO SALAH I want to pray.
[32:36]I say this for example I come and say Allahbar yes and
[32:40]I stopah is I come and say Allahbar salah is what am
[32:48]I supposed to say has obligated proclusions such as salah is void
[32:55]why because I cannot say Allahbar I have to say the al
[33:01]if and the Allahbar he says is void So when I come
[33:07]I'm not here to scare you.
[33:08]I'm here to say one of the diagnosis or the signs of
[33:14]somebody who has this condition say Fatima asks the prophet which I'll
[33:17]tell you the hadith what is the result of this medical condition
[33:20]is the lack of concern for the rulings of prayers and in
[33:31]association what and salah.
[33:30]The second is when I am negligent or heedless in the performance
[33:38]of the prayer.
[33:40]What do we mean?
[33:42]Now I know the rulings maybe but I come and I have
[33:44]the world's fastest salah on record.
[33:49]I have seen speedy Gonzalez.
[33:52]You know within one minute everything is over and I'm surprised.
[33:58]Did you even catch your breath in that minute?
[34:03]Your sag subh doesn't even say the subhan out of the subhan
[34:06]Allah.
[34:07]Subhan Allah.
[34:08]Then out and then straight UP DOWN BACK AGAIN.
[34:09]WHY MA?
[34:11]There is a Super Bowl.
[34:11]Who cares?
[34:16]You and I will be held accountable for this.
[34:19]So the uh the complacency or taking it lightly in performance is
[34:25]another demonstration.
[34:26]One day the holy prophet of Islam he came in the masid
[34:33]he was in the masid in a man comes in and began
[34:35]to pray.
[34:37]Yes but he did not perform his properly.
[34:40]So the prophet says he has performed salah like the pecking of
[34:48]a woodpecker.
[34:49]Yes.
[34:50]Then he says if he dies without correcting his prayers he dies
[34:57]on a religion different to mine different religion not part of my
[35:01]religion.
[35:02]Yes.
[35:03]So when I rush my prayers, when I am careless about my
[35:07]andjud and the the correct performance of my prayers, is that a
[35:12]sign that I'm complacent?
[35:12]Yes.
[35:13]Is there a sign that I'm heedless?
[35:15]Yes.
[35:15]Is a sign that I don't care about my prayers?
[35:19]Yes.
[35:19]And the other symptom of this condition is complacency in the timing
[35:26]of the prayers.
[35:28]This is also tough.
[35:27]What do we mean?
[35:30]Our six im peace be upon him says test our in three
[35:32]areas one of them he says if they pray on time no
[35:39]that's that's the our yes when I am sitting there and it's
[35:42]time for salah for example yes and I am watching a movie
[35:48]or I'm doing something and I pray late and sometimes I only
[35:52]pray deliberately five minutes before it becomes or for example Paul, I
[36:00]miss my praise regularly where I can pray it.
[36:05]Yes, heedless.
[36:04]These are all problematic signs.
[36:07]Listen to what the holy lady of light receives from the holy
[36:13]prophet.
[36:12]This is just a wakeup call for us because some people will
[36:17]be shocked by this hadith.
[36:17]But it's there narrated by she asks him Allah when someone's complacent
[36:21]for example when the timing of their prayers in their and in
[36:27]the performance of their prayers what is the result the prophet of
[36:31]Islam listens what he says he says whomsoever from the men and
[36:39]women takes their prayers lightly they will be the receiving end of
[36:46]15 problems.
[36:47]One five, six in this world, three at death, three in the
[36:54]grave and three on the day of 15 issues.
[36:58]Some people come to me and say, you know, I have tried
[37:03]some after co so much to gain wealth.
[37:05]What is wrong?
[37:05]Why is it that my business is not looming?
[37:07]Listen to what the prophet of Islam says.
[37:09]He says number one the six in this dunya maybe maybe sometimes
[37:15]we need shock therapy write these 15 in front of you and
[37:18]remind remind yourself or put it in the phone he says the
[37:23]first one is what your lifespan will be what will not have
[37:26]the baraka not have the blessing you'll die earlier then what Allah
[37:33]would give you a time or lifespan that you could live up
[37:36]to therefore you go to the minimum number two where you will
[37:42]not get proper risk.
[37:45]You try and try no risk.
[37:46]It's not happening.
[37:48]Then he says Allah will remove the sign of the from their
[37:52]features.
[37:53]And number four, every deed they do, Allah will not reward them
[38:02]for it.
[38:05]Every time they ask Allah, the dua will not be answered.
[38:09]And the sixth one is not only their dua not answered, but
[38:15]when others pray for them also, it will be in vain.
[38:20]People say, "Please pray for me.
[38:24]You're going pray for me." They're praying for you for years, but
[38:28]you're not seeing the impact.
[38:28]Watch your salah.
[38:31]What's happening with your salah?
[38:34]It's blocking their dua.
[38:33]It's blocking your dua.
[38:37]Yes.
[38:36]Likewise, who are these?
[38:38]These are the six in this dunya.
[38:40]Then he says, "The three at the time of death, you will
[38:44]die disgraced.
[38:42]You will die hungry.
[38:45]You will die thirsty.
[38:45]If you were given the whole waters of this world, you will
[38:50]not be quenched." That's the three of and the time of death.
[38:54]The three inabah will appoint an angel that will continuously annoy you
[38:59]in the grave.
[38:59]Number two, the grave will be constricted and it will be dark.
[39:07]And finally the three that will happen in a Allah will appoint
[39:10]an angel who will drag you on your face on the floor
[39:15]and everyone will laugh and mock you from the creation and you
[39:20]will be heavily held accountable for every deed and finally Allah will
[39:29]not look at you with mercy and will not purify your deeds.
[39:34]and you will receive heavy punishment.
[39:37]15 it's serious.
[39:41]I remember at the time of co I know some people said
[39:49]drink bleach but most of us were what saying you know what
[39:51]at the end of the day it's very serious we have to
[39:55]take these vaccinations we have to we were worried about the future
[39:59]right that's fine here we are talking about our what our future
[40:03]in the recognition therefore is telling you and I when it comes
[40:12]to salah Start take it seriously.
[40:14]Start to reflect on how you and I performing it.
[40:16]Let it not be of those who are taking it lightly.
[40:21]That's why her name is as a result of her prayers.
[40:27]It's the holy prophet Sam when it comes to this holy lady
[40:41]he mentions why she's known as he says listen to this beautiful
[40:48]hadith from the holy prophet he says she is the chief lady
[40:55]of the women of the worlds from the beginning and the end.
[40:59]She is part of me.
[41:01]She is the light of my eyes and the fruit of my
[41:08]heart.
[41:09]And the spirit of mine which is in between my two parts.
[41:14]She is what?
[41:17]A human being also created from the fruits of Jenna.
[41:23]Then he says every time she stands in salah The radiance of
[41:32]the light from her face illuminates the heavens for the angels just
[41:41]like how all the stars illuminate and give light for the people
[41:48]of the earth including the sun.
[41:49]And then the prophet says Allah will say to his angels Look
[41:55]at my servant Fatima.
[42:00]She's standing before me and what her body is shaking because of
[42:07]what?
[42:08]The awe of standing in salah.
[42:12]She has come purely attentive with her heart with my worship.
[42:21]I want you all to be witness.
[42:25]I will save God from Subhan Allah.
[42:28]He is praising Fatima and all of a sudden he turns to
[42:34]his Shia.
[42:32]Yes.
[42:33]Why?
[42:33]In which way are the SH of Fatima going to be included
[42:38]with her in Jenna?
[42:38]No doubt if they pay attention to their salah.
[42:42]If Allah is praising the salah of Fatima, she is known as
[42:48]the radiant one because in salah her face radiates light for what?
[42:54]For the universe in salah.
[42:55]In salah the Shia of Fatima should follow the footsteps of inah.
[43:00]No doubt as much as they can.
[43:04]They should be protectors and defenders of their prayers and not take
[43:08]it lightly.
[43:07]That's why this association with salah is so beautiful with because our
[43:14]second holy imam says that one of the memories that has still
[43:18]indeed reached us is when he would look at his belove beloved
[43:25]mother and see her praying and praying for others before she prays
[43:30]for themselves.
[43:32]And he asks her, "Oh mother, in your salah, why do you
[43:35]pray for others?" She would say, We must always remember others before
[43:42]we remember ourselves.
[43:42]Hence, you find that she's been honored with a number of recommended
[43:46]deeds which you and I can utilize to make our salah better.
[43:53]Please focus on this last thing.
[43:55]What do we mean?
[43:54]There is an important salah which is known as salah ofaham.
[44:01]This salah has been recommended by our and it is one that
[44:08]is mentioned by for example in his book which is a revised
[44:19]version of and this salah is narrated in the book of bylih
[44:25]and others.
[44:26]This is known as salah of zah.
[44:29]Please understand this salah.
[44:32]What is this salah?
[44:33]This salah is when somebody is in hardship, difficulty, pain, they're going
[44:39]through discomfort, they need help.
[44:40]Yes.
[44:41]And we're told it's a salah.
[44:43]You perform these.
[44:45]Once you finish, you do once you finish the you are sitting
[44:52]there and you say 100 times.
[44:59]100 times.
[45:01]Then you put your right cheek on the ground and you say
[45:07]100 times.
[45:08]Then you put your left cheek on the ground 100 times.
[45:15]Then you put your forehead on the ground 100 times.
[45:21]So 400 times altogether.
[45:25]Yes.
[45:23]And then you ask your and it will be fulfilled inshallah.
[45:28]That's why you recognize salah of has been mentioned and many of
[45:36]our have said practice it but also the gift that the holy
[45:39]lady received from whom?
[45:41]From her beloved father something that you and I practice.
[45:45]How amazing is the 34 times Allah abar 33 times alhamdulillah 33
[45:54]times.
[45:55]Subhan Allah.
[45:53]Our six imuhammed.
[46:03]He says, he says, "When I perform after each salah, it's more
[46:19]beloved to me than performing 1,000 recommended prayers." 1,000 prayers.
[46:26]Imm says one is more beloved.
[46:29]When said this, what does it mean?
[46:32]It means this has not to be taken lightly.
[46:36]The challenge today is because once again it's become habitual.
[46:40]Many a times it is mentioned in times two speed.
[46:45]You know when you're watching people watching this video or this YouTube
[46:49]put the times two speed on YouTube.
[46:52]Yes.
[46:54]Sometimes fast you're not actually mentioning the properly.
[46:59]Yes.
[47:00]The recognition that emerges is that this is so beautiful, so important
[47:05]that the tell us it should be performed before we go to
[47:12]sleep.
[47:12]Those who do it will be counted as those who have remembered
[47:15]Allah greatly.
[47:19]Likewise, I have seen that say when you are going through a
[47:25]really tough moment in life, perform Many times we do it just
[47:32]after salah.
[47:33]Yes, greatly recommended also before we go to sleep.
[47:35]Greatly recommended.
[47:37]But at the same time, it is used as a means of
[47:40]attaining a form of what?
[47:43]A form of relief from hardship and indeed difficulty.
[47:46]It's not a surprise therefore that you'll see the life of this
[47:51]holy lady filled with demonstration of love towards Allah subhana wa ta'ala
[47:56]and service to his creation based on the excellence of her salah.
[48:02]Many a times we see and we remember what the Quran says
[48:05]about her and the sacrifice of their sons in addition to when
[48:11]they gave their food for three consecutive days.
[48:14]One of the reasons is their salah their adherence to that connection
[48:19]with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala was a hallmark indeed of their success
[48:25]and that's why you find that when it comes to theam you'll
[48:30]find many of them one of the last things they did in
[48:35]their life was salah interesting isn't it you look at the holy
[48:38]prophet of Islam on the day that he left this world it
[48:44]is mentioned that what that he would go and push away the
[48:46]first caiff who was leading salah and he himself would lead salah
[48:52]while sitting because the impact of the poison on the prophet was
[48:55]extensive yet he led the Muslims while sitting salah while sitting.
[49:01]Yes.
[49:03]Likewise, what happened when it came to the early hours of the
[49:07]morning of the 19th of Ramadan, 40 years after the migration of
[49:10]the prophet, he cried to I am victorious by the lord of
[49:19]the when in salah.
[49:19]Yes, Hussein Ali 10th of Muaram the barren desert of meets Allah
[49:25]after what?
[49:27]Establishing salah.
[49:29]That's why when it came to the holy lady of light, one
[49:34]of the last things she did before she met her Lord was
[49:40]indeed the prayer was indeed the salah.
[49:43]Imagine this holy lady.
[49:44]Her relationship in salah was such that the prophet of Islam wanted
[49:52]the world to know that the m that will be fall upon
[49:55]her is has to be linked to what?
[49:58]Towards her dedication in salah.
[50:01]What do you mean?
[50:03]For six months the prophet of Islam knocks on the door of
[50:05]fat.
[50:06]six months before he left this world.
[50:10]And narration says that he would come and knock and say and
[50:20]he would seek permission by knocking on the door but also calling
[50:25]his family to come out for salah.
[50:26]Say would come and say to him, "Father, this is your house.
[50:29]This is your door.
[50:34]Everything is for you.
[50:34]We are for you.
[50:37]I am asking you, you don't need to knock.
[50:41]But Allah knocks for six months.
[50:42]He knocks.
[50:44]Why?
[50:42]Why is he knocking?
[50:45]Because he knows one day that door will be pushed on his
[50:48]door.
[50:51]He knows one day this holy lady will be crushed between the
[50:58]wall and the doors.
[50:59]He knows that today will come whereby the nail will puncture the
[51:09]lungs of Fatima and break the ribs of Fatima says that don't
[51:15]think that Fatima was only crushed between the wall and the door
[51:20]once.
[51:20]When they entered they crushed her but she did not lose her
[51:23]mass.
[51:24]Then she fell on the ground.
[51:28]When they were leaving the house dragging Amir, she stood up.
[51:31]One of them used a whip and he what?
[51:35]Hit her.
[51:37]Another person pushed her and a third pushed the door on her.
[51:39]That is when she lost her mass.
[51:42]That is when the mu gone twice.
[51:46]Somebody asked me how can someone be pushed between the wall and
[51:49]the door.
[51:50]Their ribs would be broken.
[51:50]I ask you number one there is the nail.
[51:54]Number two being forcefully done twice would result would result in such
[51:59]an injury.
[52:01]That's why I saw this ria in Bihar that said towards the
[52:04]end of the life of Fatima this is how she looked.
[52:08]Just imagine this great lady of light the best female creation of
[52:11]Allah that her salah was the most perfect beloved toool Allah.
[52:16]If she was not created would not have a suitable match.
[52:22]These all these how is Fatima towards the end of her life?
[52:26]Thea says she was constantly somebody who fell unconscious and she tied
[52:32]her head because of the what?
[52:34]Because of the grief.
[52:36]She was weak.
[52:36]Her heart was broken.
[52:40]She was constantly in tears.
[52:41]This was Fatima that she became so weakened because of the impact
[52:45]of the attack on the door on the house.
[52:50]says to us on that final day of her life, she looked
[52:54]around the house.
[52:57]She began to get ready.
[52:58]She prepared the some food for Hassan and Hussein.
[53:02]Look at the mother love for her children.
[53:04]And then she looked at Asma.
[53:07]She said, "Asma, I am going to go to my room and
