[0:09][Music] in [Music] [Music] one of the greatest blessings upon any community
[0:49]and Society is to have righteous Scholars Scholars that guide people Scholars
[0:59]that they themselves are guided and are on the right path this
[1:05]is the greatest blessing that Allah subhanahu wa taala could give a
[1:08]community and a group of people this is why when he divides
[1:17]people he tells His companion K he tells him people are in
[1:23]three categories either someone is a righteous Alim who is he himself
[1:40]on the right path and guides other people or someone who's aim
[1:46]someone who's on the path of seeking knowledge and seeking guidance and
[1:53]the third category is people that are lost people that are astray
[1:57]according to you could only be in either these three categories one
[2:05]of these three categories nothing else and the role of the the
[2:11]role of the scholar especially the righteous scholar is very important in
[2:19]fact the of says one one one true fak scholar he is
[2:38]worse Onan than 1,000 worshippers than 1,000 because one can guide thousands
[2:46]of people hundreds and thousands of people while the might just guide
[2:52]themselves might just be praying for themselves and this is why we
[2:56]see in the story of prophet yunus prophet Unice he was sent
[3:05]to his community and after Decades of preaching only two people believed
[3:11]in him one of them was aim a scholar and the other
[3:16]was an Abid a worshipper and after many decades of calling upon
[3:21]upon people even Prophet Eunice he himself became tired they wouldn't listen
[3:27]to him they would mock him they would harass him so so
[3:32]the Abid the worshipper he came and he told prophet eunus he
[3:36]tells him why don't you pray against them do Dua against them
[3:39]let the punishment of Allah come against them and Prophet yunus Alam
[3:45]he did the Dua and the punishment was going to come and
[3:49]when the signs of punishment came theid the worshipper and Prophet eunus
[3:55]they escaped they ran away Allah subhana T describes in the Quran
[4:04]he went he ran away Prophet yunus but theim he stayed he
[4:12]stayed and when the community when the people of prophet yunus Alam
[4:17]when they saw the signs of in the sky showing they repented
[4:22]and they needed someone to teach them how to repent how to
[4:28]turn back to Allah subhah wa ta'ala they all went to the
[4:30]they went to the scholar that had believed in Eunice and he
[4:35]taught them how to repent he tells them separate the child from
[4:38]his mother and separate even the animals separate the newborn from the
[4:43]mother and then beg to Allah subhanahu wa taala turn to Allah
[4:51]with sincerity and this is exactly what they did and theab did
[4:54]not come upon them yunus he ends up getting swallowed by the
[4:57]well and then he comes back to his community he sees that
[5:02]his community is safe and sound and they had repented to Allah
[5:06]subhanahu wa ta'ala so you see this shows you the value of
[5:12]the AL the value of the God-fearing Al all of these people
[5:15]they could have been punish but that he turned them back to
[5:23]Allah subhanahu wa taala so while the is a great benefit to
[5:28]communities and societies at the same time you see that sometimes maybe
[5:32]someone is a yet this person might mislead people maybe this person
[5:38]might misguide people and bring people away from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
[5:44]and away from the truth and this is also a reality this
[5:49]is why he says two have broken my back two that wear
[6:03]the Garb of scholarship one of them is a but he does
[6:06]not fear Allah subhah waala he said he says this person broke
[6:12]my back and someone who's a j but he has a and
[6:18]he has a long beard and he comes and he acts like
[6:22]he has the knowledge he comes and he acts like he knows
[6:26]says these two people have broken my back and he says in
[6:34]a he says when the one scholar in a community if this
[6:42]person is corrupted if this person is not following the truth not
[6:46]guiding towards the truth then the whole Community will suffer and my
[6:53]dear brothers and sisters as a Muslim Community we have seen the
[6:58]benefits of Scholars that are God-fearing and we have also seen the
[7:04]harms of individuals that have no fear of Allah subhah wa tala
[7:08]why was there a division after why are the um why is
[7:14]the umah still divided today a few days ago someone came and
[7:17]asked me he tells me say something as simple as praying every
[7:23]day did the prophet pray every day in front of the Muslims
[7:26]yes he prayed okay then today today why are Muslims confused on
[7:32]how the prophet prayed some people have their hands down some people
[7:35]have their hands folded in their prayer isn't that something that is
[7:39]very obvious isn't that something that is very clear I told him
[7:43]yes it is something that is very clear and the prophet he
[7:46]prayed in front of all of the Muslims they all saw him
[7:51]praying he tells me then what was the issue why are people
[7:53]confused on how the prophet prayed I told him this is the
[7:59]job of those who came after the Prophet who claimed to be
[8:02]Scholars who claimed to be or maybe they were yet they misguided
[8:08]people and Allah subhana wa tala speaks about this category of people
[8:17]Those Who hide what we have brought down from the truth and
[8:25]the Huda and we have showed it to the people those people
[8:31]they deserve the curse of God and the curse of people and
[8:35]this is a reality this is a reality where there are that
[8:42]are God-fearing that bring people to the truth and gu guide people
[8:46]to the H and there are those who have no fear of
[8:48]Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala now one question someone might ask how do I
[8:56]know which scholar to follow how do I know which scholar I'm
[9:02]supposed to take as a role model as a guide and especially
[9:05]this is an important question because now we are living in in
[9:10]the era of the occultation now can I go and see the
[9:15]Imam can I go and visit the Imam of course not the
[9:21]IM is in a right now so who do I turn to
[9:22]IM he has a Hadith and he tells his companions he tells
[9:27]his companions you take your religion from someone who is from the
[9:34]who has the who has the understanding he says if someone is
[9:57]from the this person has preserved their own faith this person goes
[10:03]against their own desires and they obey the commands of Allah subhah
[10:08]wa ta'ala then the a then the lay men can follow this
[10:13]person they can take this religion they could see this person as
[10:17]a trusted Source in taking the religion from and this is who
[10:20]we should refer to but you see throughout history the Muslim umah
[10:28]there have been those who are real Scholars and there have been
[10:33]those who take money for a fatwa you know in mam we
[10:38]talk about IM Hussein and we cry for IM Hussein you know
[10:41]how IM Hussein was killed one of the reasons how IM Hussein
[10:45]was killed was because of a fatwa there was a there was
[10:50]a judge by the name of he took money from yazid yazid
[10:57]tells him I'll give you money and you issue a fatwa against
[11:00]IM Hussein Alam and this is what he did he took money
[11:06]and he issued a fatwa making it Halal to kill and Slaughter
[11:11]IM Hussein but then on the other hand we see there are
[11:15]Scholars from the umah and there are Scholars those who have the
[11:19]fear of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and they they stand for their
[11:26]principles and they do not compromise the truth and they resist the
[11:31]oppression and the Injustice and the forces of wrong they stand against
[11:36]them and this is the Hadith of the prophet in which he
[11:42]says that one of these is worth greater than even the prophets
[11:47]of B is now my dear brothers and sisters one point who
[11:53]should we measure as a great scholar anyone who comes and fights
[11:57]anyone who does Jihad anyone who who stands and struggles against Injustice
[12:01]this person is worthy of being a a a scholar and the
[12:05]one who is silent is not worthy of being a scholar no
[12:10]here we cannot judge because the AL they know what their obligation
[12:14]and duty is today some of us you see I I hear
[12:18]a lot of people they come and they say if you see
[12:19]a they're vocal and they're fighting oppression and they're very strong in
[12:25]their stance then this person deserves my respect but if there's a
[12:30]Al that is not very vocal then I don't respect this person
[12:32]this is not right because the the Alim knows what their obligation
[12:37]is sometimes your obligation is to stand out and be vocal and
[12:44]defend and be very loud and sometimes your obligation is to remain
[12:47]silent and be in the state of IM IM IM all of
[12:54]the imams of theit after IM Hussein they were all practicing and
[13:01]there were people they would come and they would look at the
[13:03]imams and they would tell them why don't you speak out against
[13:08]Theif why don't you speak out against the rulers the Imam would
[13:11]tell people I know what my obligation is I know what my
[13:16]duty is right now to protect the greater interest of the Muslim
[13:21]Community and protect the greater interest of the Shia during the time
[13:27]of IM sad Z Shah Z the uncle of Imam Z he
[13:35]rebelled against B IM Sadam did not join him because Imam sad
[13:42]knows that this is not going to bring the right results that
[13:46]the Imam was looking for and he did not join him similarly
[13:49]some of the descendants of IM alassan they rebelled against B and
[13:56]they rebelled against Ben ab and they were killed the imams of
[14:00]the they did not join them and they would come and they
[14:02]would tell the imams why don't you join them they would tell
[14:06]them we know what is the best interest of the Greater Community
[14:09]right now so here's a very important point to to try to
[14:13]comprehend and understand is that we don't we shouldn't just judge someone
[14:16]because this person is being loud and because this person is being
[14:22]vocal against oppression sometimes the duty is to be silently resisting and
[14:27]sometimes the duty is to be more vocal in your resistance however
[14:31]when we look at the greater picture when we look at the
[14:37]greater history of Islam and the Muslim Community and Muslim Scholars there's
[14:40]something that will catch your eyes and we are seeing many people
[14:46]aware of this especially in the last year year and a half
[14:49]with the genocide that's taking place in gazah and the suffering many
[14:53]people sh and non have become aware of this phenomenon and this
[15:01]reality and what is that that is you see that the scholars
[15:05]the scholars of the they are always in the Forefront standing against
[15:15]oppression resisting resisting wrong and they are always leading their UMAS and
[15:21]leading their communities and standing against the wrong isn't this a reality
[15:26]that we see right now don't we see the scholars of the
[15:29]Shia whether giving a fatwa for boycotting Zionist Goods or or supporting
[15:35]the resistance and supporting those who stand against oppression we see this
[15:40]we see this very clear right now and this is something that
[15:45]you will not see in the other schools of thought maybe you
[15:48]see the popular the the populations they are resisting oppression they are
[15:54]they're crying for someone to come and guide them and lead them
[15:57]to resist the oppression but they're their leaders their are either silent
[16:02]or they're telling people no you have no right to speak out
[16:07]and they are actually making it haram for people to protest and
[16:10]making it haram for people to speak out against oppression this is
[16:13]a reality right A lot of people are noticing this right now
[16:19]and we see here tonight I want to talk about give a
[16:22]brief history of some of the Shia Scholars some of the scholars
[16:28]of the followers of the bit and and their role in standing
[16:31]against oppression and we will try to address some of the factors
[16:34]and the reasons that lead them to be like this while other
[16:40]schools of thought are silent and subservient to the political leadership when
[16:46]we look at our you see since the time of the IMs
[16:54]of the and after the imams of the bate you see that
[16:56]the imams they have been the the leaders the the theah the
[17:05]scholars they have been very vocal in their stance against oppression and
[17:10]I can't mention all of the names of the scholars because we
[17:16]don't have enough time but I will mention some of the names
[17:19]of some of those very profound movements and Scholars that have paid
[17:24]the price and have led movements against oppression start with one of
[17:32]our Scholars who every student of the hza any scholar any student
[17:37]who enters in the they have to read this person's book A
[17:42]book of by the name of was authored by a scholar by
[17:52]the name of the first of the martyrs muhamed Al jazini he's
[18:01]from jazin in South Lebanon this scholar he was a great scholar
[18:07]he was born in the Levant area and he goes to he
[18:14]goes to where the was in in and he goes to carala
[18:20]and he studies in carala then he goes back to the Levant
[18:23]he goes back to Sham and he begins showing people his knowledge
[18:29]and he begins to Stand Out amongst the scholars in his community
[18:33]and of course at that time there were many scholars not the
[18:36]scholars of the B and some of them they became very sensitive
[18:41]with this man they did not like it he's getting he's becoming
[18:45]very popular he is liked by the masses so they go and
[18:51]the Hakim the ruler of the time imprisons him imprisons him and
[18:56]they imprison him for one year and while he was imprison within
[19:00]seven days they tell him you're going to be executed within seven
[19:06]days he wrote that book that every student of the has to
[19:10]read and study today a book of Islamic law within seven days
[19:14]he wrote it in prison and then they beheaded him and they
[19:21]crucified him and they stoned him and they burned his body and
[19:24]he became known as sh yesterday we were talking about Baraka how
[19:31]someone is muak with that book that he wrote in prison within
[19:35]seven days that book every student of the has to study until
[19:41]today this is Shah then there's another scholar Shah he was killed
[19:47]in the year 786 hij which is 1384 in the Gregorian calender
[19:54]then you have another scholar that came about 200 years later by
[19:58]the name of the second of the sh see our they're known
[20:05]as a sh this is a great honor this is such a
[20:10]great privilege that we have that we recognize our by sh the
[20:15]one who gave up everything that he has for the sake of
[20:18]Allah subhah wa tala isn't this an honor isn't this something that
[20:22]we are very proud of his name is zi ALB Ahmed from
[20:30]ja also from South Lebanon this man this man he he was
[20:39]also imprisoned and he became known he wrote a sh he wrote
[20:48]an explanation on was written in seven days so it's very short
[20:53]book but it's filled with Islamic laws he WR he came and
[20:58]he wrote of course he has many other books this book that
[21:01]is studied by the in the it's called an a an interpretation
[21:12]of the because the is so precise it requires a and today
[21:15]the students of the they go and that that explanation which requires
[21:20]many other it requires explanations imagine how How deep the material is
[21:29]and how how um strong the points are that even the even
[21:32]the interpretation requires students to study for years studying this book the
[21:42]ruler of the ruler of s he wrote a letter to the
[21:46]sulan the sulan sultan Saleem the son of the son ofan he
[21:52]writes to him a letter he tells him if you want to
[21:57]keep control of this area if you want to for us to
[22:02]have control of this area then take out this scholar from here
[22:05]and they arrested him and they were taking him all the way
[22:11]to isul but the waser the waser of the of the government
[22:15]of the Sultan of the sultan he did not want the scholar
[22:19]to meet the sultan because if he meets the sultan he's a
[22:22]scholar he's able to talk to him he's going to talk to
[22:27]him he's going to have an impact on him he killed him
[22:33]on the way taking him to and he became known as Shah
[22:36]now my dear brothers and sisters these are some of our you
[22:43]fast forward another 200 years in the year 1890 in Iran the
[22:48]government at the time was the kajari government the kajari government they
[22:54]were the rulers and sometimes you see the rulers they are not
[22:59]following the will of the people of the population the British Empire
[23:06]at the time they had establish the heimy and they were trying
[23:11]to to gain control of land and resources just as they do
[23:16]until now before they did it in the name of occupying and
[23:18]in the name of spreading and now they do it in the
[23:22]name of democracy it's all the same they came and they went
[23:24]to Iran and they wanted to have control over the resources at
[23:28]that time 1890 oil wasn't discovered yet so what was the big
[23:34]resource the big prize that they wanted to take from people tobacco
[23:39]tobacco it was something that was big and the British Empire they
[23:50]made a deal with nasin Shah that they will have a full
[23:54]Monopoly and full control over the tobacco industry and this was hurting
[23:58]in the people this was hurting the masses and you see here
[24:05]once again the role of the scholars in not in Iran in
[24:12]samassi Massi he had taken the to Sam he wrote a fatwa
[24:19]with one fatwa he was able to break the backs of the
[24:25]British Empire and and save the Shia from this Monopoly with one
[24:28]fatwa he wrote any use of tobacco will be as if you
[24:33]are waging a war against who's going to come and use tobacco
[24:39]now with that one fatwa he was able to break the Monopoly
[24:47]and Nas Shah the Shah he had to come and re break
[24:50]that contract with the British Empire as a result of one fatwa
[24:56]see the role of the of the Shia see the role of
[25:02]the Scholars another example in 1920 after the fall of the Ottoman
[25:06]Empire after World World War I the fall of the Ottoman Empire
[25:13]the British they came and they took control over Iraq and here
[25:16]you see one of the greatest political movements that was led by
[25:23]the scholars that was led by the the 1920 Revolution and this
[25:27]revolution ution it was led by muhammedi Mah Muhammad Shi and many
[25:37]of the scholars many of the scholars in the one of them
[25:40]was and many others one of them who was our great-grandfather Muhammed
[25:47]who was young at that time he participated in that Revolution that
[25:54]was led by Scholars and against the British Empire so you see
[25:58]this is the role of the of the Shia fast forward 1979
[26:05]one of the greatest movements in contemporary Shia history and that was
[26:12]the revolution of Imam in Iran and this revolution has had such
[26:21]a great impact on Politics on geopolitics until today until today you
[26:27]see the impact of this movement and by the way today you
[26:32]find a lot of Western countries they come and they say we
[26:35]want to bring democracy to the Middle East this is why we
[26:39]invade and this is why we take our War Industry and we
[26:44]take our our military and all of that because we want to
[26:46]bring democracy to the Middle East well guess what there were times
[26:50]where there was democracy in the Middle East in 1953 in Iran
[26:55]there was a democratically elected government by the Prime Minister Muhammad madak
[27:02]and there was a a a democratically elected government the CIA and
[27:07]the UK they came and they toppled that government and they installed
[27:12]the father of the Sha and later on the Sha and they
[27:18]were trying they brought these individuals who were trying to westernize Iran
[27:22]and one of the things the father of the Shah did was
[27:26]he forbade the hijab for a brief time he forbade the and
[27:29]turning against the and as a result as a result you have
[27:35]a society that is mainly conservative a a society that is majority
[27:39]religious and practicing they came and they rebelled against the Shah monarchy
[27:47]and the 1979 Revolution took place similarly you see with Saddam Saddam
[27:55]when he came to power his number one victims were the his
[28:04]number one target was the and this is why most of the
[28:07]known schools and houses places of learning in Iraq whether in carala
[28:14]or Naf or Bagdad or anywhere else you see they were all
[28:18]destroyed and targeted by Saddam many of the scholars many of the
[28:22]they were targeted one of the greatest who was known was a
[28:28]Shah Muhammad Bak S A Shah say Muhammad Bak s who was
[28:33]killed because he stood against the oppression because he stood against the
[28:37]Tyranny and many other Scholars you have from theim family you have
[28:40]from the Khali family you have from the from many other families
[28:44]our family as well over 18 people from our family many scholars
[28:48]they were killed as a result of saddam's persecution targeting the religious
[28:54]organizations and the schools and the houses this is with Saddam then
[29:02]you fast forward to 2014 when Isis they came and they supposedly
[29:08]wanted to free Iraq free Iraq from who free Iraq from who
[29:15]you have people that went all the way from Europe all the
[29:20]way from other countries usbekistan and all these other countries they go
[29:25]to Iraq to free Iraq from the Shia because now the greatest
[29:28]danger the Muslim um has seen the Shia now they are in
[29:34]power in Iraq so they send all of these and they go
[29:36]and they wreak havoc and they cause car bombs and they cause
[29:41]suffering and they cause killing because they want to free Iraq one
[29:44]pause where are these movements when they want to free Philistine if
[29:51]you were to come and tell them Palestine was ruled or Philistine
[29:54]is being ruled by Shia I swear to you they will have
[29:57]movements and they will go and they will try to free it
[30:01]but now since it's not the Shan it's okay there're are brothers
[30:03]there're are brothers in n in 2014 the scholars led by the
[30:14]mer the great merer of our time aliani issued a fatwa making
[30:18]Jihad waj for those who are capable for those who are able
[30:24]to go and fight and defend the land that belonged to sunnis
[30:27]you know in 20 and when Isis came they didn't they didn't
[30:32]invade land they didn't invade carala or Naf they invaded land that
[30:34]belonged to sunnis and land that belonged to the Christians in Iraq
[30:37]it was the Shia because of the fatwa of Satani and the
[30:43]other Scholars they came and they fought them and they kicked Isis
[30:46]out and they gave the land back to its people this is
[30:50]the role of the of the Shia this is the role of
[30:55]the scholars of the Shia and history keeps repeating itself until we
[30:58]saw a few weeks ago the whole world witnessed the funeral of
[31:02]a great man a s who was able to liberate his own
[31:08]land from the Zionist and he was killed in the defense of
[31:11]liberating and the attempt of liberating Palestine from the Zionist this is
[31:18]our this is our history my dear brothers and sisters now someone
[31:24]comes and asks where do we get this from why are the
[31:26]sh and their Scholars why are they standing against oppression and why
[31:31]are the others silent why are the others not doing anything about
[31:38]the oppression and the Tyranny that's going on and in fact you
[31:41]don't only see some that are not doing anything you see some
[31:45]that are telling their people you have to remain silent you have
[31:49]to remain subservient you have to remain being crushed by others and
[31:54]where does this come from there are three reasons that I will
[31:58]mention my dear brothers and sisters one reason is that in the
[32:06]belief of the Shia the H the ruler the political ruler does
[32:10]not have Divine blessings what does that mean that means there's no
[32:17]there's no Divine immunity to the ruler the king the president whoever
[32:23]it is if this person is following the we will respect this
[32:30]person if this person is not following the H then we will
[32:32]rebel against this person and we will speak out against this person
[32:36]whereas you see in the Sunni faith and this was institutionalized over
[32:43]years and years and centuries and this was as a result of
[32:50]individuals sidelining the bit and they coming to power so how do
[32:53]they silence people from speaking out against them they tell them you
[32:56]have no right to speak against the sultan you have no right
[33:03]to speak against the Amir because the Amir he's a drunk he's
[33:06]a drunk he's drinking on his weekends at night he's partying he's
[33:10]doing all of this so people are going to naturally they're going
[33:14]to speak out against this person but they come and they fabricate
[33:17]narrations and they tell people you have no right to speak against
[33:21]the sulan you have no right to speak against the leader and
[33:29]there's a whole chap in some of the Sunni books it is
[33:34]har to rise and rebel against the sulan this is something you
[33:37]won't find in our books and they come and they take verses
[33:42]from the Quran for example oh you people who believe obey God
[33:51]and obey the prophet and those who are our they come and
[33:56]they tell us are very clear and the IMs of the they
[34:04]are the ones who have been appointed by Allah subh who are
[34:08]for you is the king that takes the sword and he's dancing
[34:14]this is for me and you have to come and give him
[34:15]you have to come and take him and and and it's Haram
[34:20]for you to rebel against him it's Haram for you to speak
[34:25]out against him if he did something wrong it's Haram for you
[34:28]to say anything and there are many of this type of narrations
[34:31]I was looking at this narration today in Muslim supposedly says is
[34:42]saying there's going to be leaders after me they're not going to
[34:47]be guided by my [Music] guidance there's going to be some of
[34:57]them they're to be like the so the narrator he says what
[35:03]should I do if I see someone like this you have to
[35:11]obey the Amir and you can't go against the Amir even if
[35:18]he is lashing you and whipping you and he's stealing from you
[35:21]you have to continue obey him this is the Islam for them
[35:26]the Islam that is supposed to bring K and dignity and honor
[35:29]to a person this is their Islam Today and this is why
[35:34]you see the Muslim umah is in the state that it is
[35:38]today because individuals who were Crooks individuals who were who were criminals
[35:43]today they have been elevated and they have been given Divine immunity
[35:50]right now this month of Ramadan the the Saudi channel NBC they
[35:54]have released a 30 episode show by the name of muaah talking
[36:00]about the Praises of muaah and the greatness of this man muaah
[36:06]spending over $100 million over a100 million to make this to come
[36:13]and change history a man who fought a man who there's cursed
[36:21]him did and says because the prophet kept calling him and calling
[36:27]him and they would tell him mu is eating mu is eating
[36:30]mu is eating says may may his stomach never be filled because
[36:36]the prophet became angry with him the man who began the Sunnah
[36:44]of cursing ALB today the Muslim world who neglected who beheaded IM
[36:49]Hussein who pushed away who does not spend a dollar defending the
[36:52]oppressed they come and they spend a100 million to Cha to make
[36:56]this propaganda and change the truth showing this man as a brave
[37:03]Warrior so this is one of the realities in the school of
[37:06]the you won't find this in the school of the theim does
[37:13]not have Divinity yes the have to be respected the have to
[37:17]be revered but not theim second in the school of the our
[37:27]they have independence from the political class right now for example if
[37:34]you go to any of the Muslim world the jum the the
[37:38]the scholar or the Sheikh or the speaker who delivers the Friday
[37:41]prayer who gives him his salary the government the government gives him
[37:47]a salary he's on the government payroll they tell him you say
[37:50]this we'll give you you don't say this we're not going to
[37:53]give you he's on the government payroll in the school of the
[38:01]debate the they have Financial independence from the government how as a
[38:07]result of the the the he doesn't need to take orders from
[38:10]the political leader because he has Financial Independence and this is a
[38:15]point of strength this is why our are respected this is why
[38:21]our are revered this is why our they have their own ideologies
[38:24]and their own thought they their thoughts are not controlled by the
[38:27]ruling class this is a very important point and a third very
[38:36]important point is that we are inspired by our leaders we are
[38:40]inspired by when he speaks against the we are inspired by when
[38:46]he teaches his companions and his sons in his he tells imass
[38:55]and Hussein he tells them be an enemy of any and be
[39:03]a supporter of any doesn't doesn't matter who this person is we
[39:08]learned from the we learned from IM Hussein who gave everything that
[39:12]he had standing against a corrupt leader and a corrupt ruler the
[39:18]imams of the B they disciplined their sh and they disciplined their
[39:23]followers to take take a stance against oppression IM he has a
[39:30]companion he comes and the companion comes and tells the IM I
[39:36]sometimes I sow he's a he's he's a tailor he says I
[39:40]sow for Ben I make their clothes for them i s for
[39:46]them am I from am I from the supporters of the because
[39:51]the Quran says don't go near the the oppressors because the fire
[40:01]that burns them is also going to catch on to you so
[40:06]he comes and he tells the Imam I just do I just
[40:08]sew their clothes for them I don't do anything for them can
[40:12]I am I still from am I from the supporters of the
[40:16]he tells him you are from the oppressors the one who gives
[40:23]you the string and the one who gives you the the fabric
[40:26]is from supporter of the this is how the IMs disciplined their
[40:33]sh another companion of IM by the name of saf safan today
[40:40]when you read zat you seean because he was a camelier this
[40:48]man owns camels right now you know there's car rental companies Avis
[40:52]and Enterprise and budget this man he had a camel renting company
[40:55]so sometimes the Imam is the IM is going to Z going
[41:01]toal or and he is with them and he hears the Zar
[41:06]and he narrates the Z for us safal was a good man
[41:08]one day IM he tells him oh safan everything in you is
[41:16]good except one thing he tells him what he tells him you're
[41:19]renting your camels to Haron you're renting your camels to Haron he
[41:25]tells him say I'm renting them to har harun is going to
[41:30]harun is not doing anything Haram with it he's only going to
[41:33]Haj the Imam he tells him don't you wish for harun to
[41:39]remain alive so that he could give you your money right away
[41:45]safan he realizes and safan goes and he sells his whole Fleet
[41:49]of camels he goes and he sells them all and harun finds
[41:54]out and he tells him why did you do that he tells
[41:56]him I become old and he's he's saying using he's telling him
[42:01]I've become old and I'm not in this business anymore he tells
[42:03]him no it was M who told you to do this but
[42:08]look how the imams of the they disciplined their sh in standing
[42:12]against oppression and obviously this will be reflected on the of the
[42:17]sh and until today we see it reflected on the Shia themselves
[42:22]on the sh and the followers of the themselves where they are
[42:26]standing against Injustice they are the ones who are defending gazah and
[42:31]Palestine while the Muslim world is in la la land while the
[42:34]Muslim world is somewhere else not caring about what's going on and
[42:41]the ones who are giving the sacrifice the ones who are giving
[42:44]up their homes and and making the greatest sacrifice whether Financial dealing
[42:49]with financial sanctions or whether being bombed or whether being targeted you
[42:54]see it is the followers of the but my dear brother and
[42:57]sisters we are from the school of IM Hussein we are from
[43:05]the school of we are from the school of the of when
[43:12]he was threatened to be killed by he tells him don't you
[43:23]know that being killed is something that is the norm for for
[43:30]us and the greatest honor in life is to attain the position
[43:34]of shahada may Allah subhah waala have mercy on our sh may
[43:39]Allah subhah wa ta'ala Elevate the ranks of our our righteous who
[43:45]have given up so much for our own dignity and the Dignity
[43:48]of the Muslim umah and the K of the Muslims all over
[43:53]the world may Allah subhah wa ta'ala guide us to the straight
[43:56]path let us raise our hands in Dua [Music] for for [Music]
[45:28]m [Music] [Music]
