[0:18]age my friends is ruled by commercials and advertisements companies are now

[0:25]marketing their products and services all over the place just think about

[0:29]it you wake up in the morning and you prepare yourself to

[0:35]go to work so you have a coffee you have breakfast and

[0:38]you say let me turn on the TV and watch the news

[0:41]as you're watching the news all of a sudden they tell you

[0:45]that we have to take a commercial break and it's called a

[0:48]commercial break and they show you all these different types of ads

[0:53]so you change the channel you go to watch a movie and

[0:55]it likewise has commercial breaks every channel is filled with advertisement and

[1:01]marketing so frustrated you turn off the TV and you go hop

[1:05]in your car and you're on the freeway out to work and

[1:10]you look there's huge billboards all advertisements you turn on the radio

[1:14]to listen to the news or some shows you want to listen

[1:19]to and likewise it's all about advertisement commercial breaks once again you

[1:25]reach your job you go and sit on your table in the

[1:27]office you turn on the computer you say let me check my

[1:30]mail you check your mail and once again you see all this

[1:32]junk spam mail which is all advertisement and now it's not just

[1:40]the junk mail now the email providers themselves like yahoo and google

[1:44]now they will bombard you with advertisements you see on the side

[1:49]on top on the right on the left all these advertisements and

[1:51]usually they are targeted advertisements it's a smart way of advertisement they

[1:57]track down which websites you visited and they bring you ads from

[2:00]that website so let's say you visited Amazon and you were searching

[2:04]for a memory card but you never bought it once you go

[2:08]on yahoo mail and you're checking your mail you see this distraction

[2:12]all these Amma's deals on memory cards so you see advertisement all

[2:17]over the place you go on google you search for something and

[2:20]then you see the Google ads they come on top so you

[2:25]come back to your house after a long day exhausting day of

[2:31]work and you check the mail the physical mail and likewise half

[2:33]of it if not all of it is junk because it's advertisement

[2:38]so now you're tired you want to kick back relax you take

[2:41]your iPhone your smartphone and you say let me chat with my

[2:45]friends you go on Facebook and once again it's filled with advertisements

[2:48]you go on Twitter it's advertisements you go on snapchat Instagram all

[2:53]these social media platforms it's all about the want it's all about

[2:58]the advertisement you say fine let me sit down let me listen

[3:02]to a YouTube Islamic lecture there shouldn't be any advertisement there and

[3:06]once again before you can see the video those annoying ads where

[3:09]you can only skip it after 5 seconds and sometimes even worse

[3:12]you don't have that option you have to see the entire ad

[3:16]so this life that we live in is all about ads we

[3:21]are constantly being bombarded by advertisements commercials and marketing why there's a

[3:29]simple answer because these corporations and companies they have realized how effective

[3:36]and powerful marketing advertising can be you see if you use marketing

[3:41]in the correct way if you use the power of effective marketing

[3:45]you can make the worst product which is useless that nobody needs

[3:53]nobody benefits from you can make it appear as they want not

[3:56]only a wants but as a need and people will go and

[4:00]buy it you can make it appear as something very good just

[4:04]by using smart ads using powerful marketing techniques and that's why studies

[4:10]today if you read the studies about marketing you will find that

[4:16]the corporations of today throughout the world they spend a whopping six

[4:22]hundred billion dollars just on advertising there products and services and why

[4:27]did he spend this much because they know it's an investment that

[4:30]will come back ten times more so they know that marketing they

[4:34]know that advertisements are very very effective and helpful and today you

[4:39]have certain industries that rely solely on marketing for their revenue like

[4:44]Facebook for example Facebook doesn't charge users a single cent it has

[4:50]over a billion or something users and they don't charge anyone a

[4:54]single cent and it's worth billions of dollars how do they get

[4:58]away with that they rely on marketing they rely on the ads

[5:03]those annoying ads they're annoying to you but they are the only

[5:06]way that Facebook can survive because they make their money through their

[5:09]ads and if you remember a couple of months ago the CEO

[5:14]of Facebook he was questioned by the US Congress so one of

[5:17]the older congressmen senators he doesn't know probably how the work world

[5:20]works today he asked him how is it that you sustain your

[5:25]operations when you don't charge your users and he looked very surprised

[6:08]or for example the shampoo commercials and they show that beautiful silky

[6:12]hair and how nice it is when you buy it you don't

[6:14]really see a change the dandruff is still there the oil still

[6:18]there and all the problems of the hair that we have doesn't

[6:20]go away even though they claim or they show in their ads

[6:25]that it goes away or even worse the commercials about food he

[6:28]takes the burger that juicy nice burger and he eats it in

[6:33]such a tasty way and forgive me your fasting I have to

[6:34]tell you this and he eats it in such a the way

[12:29]you cannot describe them if you bring me a blind individual and

[12:38]that person through my words what the colors are what's the difference

[12:42]between blue and red and green and black and white no because

[12:46]through words you cannot explain them that person has to physically see

[21:34]any problems no this is the duniya Allah tells us that in

[21:37]the dunya there's no comfort the nature of the dunya is that

[24:05]mother and then the sleepless nights of the baby crying and you

[24:07]have to feed them it's all struggle upon struggle upon struggle to

[24:11]have a child is to struggle and this is from the name

[24:15]of the dunya then anima doesn't come to you unless you struggle

[24:17]and you have problems money and manual burn likewise money wealth you

[24:23]think wealth comes easy you have to go to university college get

[24:26]a degree go through those boring classes so those sleepless nights when

[24:48]will make you wealthy you know very wealthy so even money comes

[24:52]through struggles this is how the dunya is and then the Imam

[24:58]he says after you become wealthy the comfort does the cut you

[25:01]know the comfort start no does the struggles and do they and

[25:04]no even after you become wealthy that Imam says now that you

[25:08]become wealthy you're thinking how do I preserve my wealth where do

[25:12]I put it should I put it in this business and the

[25:14]real-estate market and the stock market should I buy this that when

[25:20]the currency goes up and down you go crazy when the stock

[25:22]market changes sometimes you begin to panic so even your money sometimes

[25:26]becomes alanna upon you because all you're thinking about is my money

[25:32]is going up or is it going down I don't want to

[25:33]lose my money there's no comforts in this world some people they

[25:36]have heart attacks because there's a financial crisis and they lose their

[25:39]money weight money that was supposed to make you happy is what

[25:45]led to the heart attack and the depression so the dunya there

[25:48]is absolutely no or AHA there's no comfort the Imam says the

[25:54]Baha is for the next life can you imagine a life where

[25:58]there is no death there is no pain there is no sorrow

[26:04]there is no violence there are no crimes there is absolutely nothing

[26:08]that puts you down and that is the gender the paradise of

[26:15]Allah Azza WA JAL is without the vexations of this life without

[26:19]the problems of this life so Allah Azza WA JAL calls al

[26:25]Jenna Darussalam it is the place of complete peace when you are

[26:30]enjoying the nighttime of Allah don't be afraid there is nothing that

[26:34]will ruin your fun your party and the dunya yes but the

[26:38]axilla there is nothing that will ruin your entertainment there is nothing

[26:42]that will ruin or spoil your fun and the pleasures of the

[26:47]ocula now you may ask how is there peace and the arkarow

[26:55]and the gender when we the human beings are the source of

[26:58]chaos if you look at this world most of the problems of

[27:05]the dunya they are man-made look at the violence look at the

[27:08]Wars look at the crimes the poverty because of the unequal distribution

[27:12]of wealth Allah place enough wealth for everyone but when someone has

[27:17]50 billion obviously he's depriving others so look at the oppression the

[27:22]volume even the sickness as many of them it's because of our

[27:24]faults because we use new technology that's not safe or because we

[27:30]are not careful you know and how we conduct ourselves health-wise and

[27:35]medical with the medical wrong so we human beings are the cause

[27:39]of most of the chaos in this world how is there peace

[27:45]complete peace in Al Jenna when Jenna is filled with human beings

[27:48]they will create chaos even in Al Jenna you might say this

[27:52]in one beautiful hadith rasool allah sallallahu alayhi wa Nia was Ellen

[27:57]he was asked about this and he said in Elgin I don't

[27:59]think that Allah and sha Allah all of you will go to

[28:02]Jannah on the day of judgment don't think that Allah who'll take

[28:59]a drink from that spring when you drink from that spring two

[29:03]things happen according to the hadith the first thing is that the

[29:11]drink will purify you from any physical flaws if in this dunya

[29:16]you had sicknesses you had a disease you had a deformity you

[29:19]had a weakness physically when once you drink from that spring you

[29:26]will become a healthy human being a young healthy human being that

[29:30]does not have any of those problems that does not have any

[29:35]of those sicknesses or diseases they will all miraculously go away and

[29:40]likewise it serves as an immunization it's like a vaccine it will

[29:45]give you immunity from all the sicknesses and diseases I lost no

[29:48]more sicknesses and diseases and gender you can't expect me to enjoy

[29:51]Jenna if I want to become sick there if one day I

[29:55]wake up and I'm told I have cancer what type of gender
