[0:00]Rahim I begin in the name of the Almighty God the compassionate
[0:07]the merciful the one who has created everything an utmost perfection and
[0:12]may the peace and blessings of the Almighty God be upon his
[0:17]pure and beloved messenger the holy prophet muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam and
[0:26]his immaculate progeny of the elevate peace be upon them respected brothers
[0:33]and sisters assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh on this wonderful and blessed evening we
[0:42]remember and commemorate the legacy of one of the shining stars of
[0:51]elevate who is an imam and Hassan in Mujtaba salawatullahi Lama salli
[0:58]ala muhammad wadi muhammad an imam al hassan ali salam was born
[1:05]into the purest marriage and household after the religion of islam when
[1:12]you examine that first marriage that occurred in medina when the Prophet
[1:17]migrated it was the marriage of imam ali and lady fatima peace
[1:23]be upon them and imam al hasan re sallam was the first
[1:27]fruit of the combination of prophethood and imam his father aleem neba
[1:33]column is the master of the imams and his mother lady fatima
[1:37]is the daughter of the final of the prophets if you want
[1:40]to see the combination of Imam and prophethood you look at an
[1:45]imam and hassan salameh - la yaani that's why when he was
[1:51]born lady fatima is Salam asked Imam Ali what should we name
[1:54]him do you have a name for him Imam and he said
[1:59]I would never name him before the Sunnah la sal allahu allahu
[2:02]allah he should be the one to name him so they approached
[2:06]the Prophet SAW Allahu Allahu Allah they gave him this beautiful boy
[2:09]the Prophet was so jubilant and happy he embraced him and the
[2:14]Prophet said would not name him before Allah would name him jabrai
[2:18]eel descends on the Prophet he congratulate him on behalf of God
[2:22]and he tells him Allah commands you to give him the name
[2:28]of the eldest son of Harun because I Lee your brother Ali
[2:32]is like Harun to Musa and Allah wants the name of the
[2:39]eldest son of Harun his name was Shobha the prophet sallallaahu anyone
[2:43]who said but my language is Arabic and I have to give
[2:48]him an Arabic name so what should I name him he tells
[2:50]him hassan give him the name hassan because that's the arabic translation
[2:58]of shabbat lama salli ala muhammad ali muhammad historians narrate that in
[3:04]pre-islamic jahiliya the word Hassan even though it's such a beautiful name
[3:08]which means goodness pleasantness and beauty was not a name that Arabs
[3:15]would actually name their sons it was a unique name and the
[3:17]first one to have this name was an imam and Hassan Salameh
[3:22]to lie Ali so we find that an imam al hassan was
[3:24]born into this blessed household the Prophet would embrace him in fact
[3:33]Ahmed even humble in his muslin he narrates a number of traditions
[3:35]in which were soon allah sallallahu anyone who would hold imam al
[3:39]hassan to himself and he would say o allah I love Hassan
[3:44]and I want you to love whom ever loves Hassan you want
[3:46]to be loved by Allah Allahu Allahu Allah you show your love
[3:52]for Ali mom and Hassan by respecting his status and by also
[3:55]following his path that's how we truly show our gratitude to Alabaman
[4:00]Hassan Salameh to Lahani an imam and Hassan has many many attributes
[4:08]many beautiful lessons we can learn from him but he is known
[4:12]for carrying a lil bait for being the generous member of elevate
[4:16]all of them were generous by the way but Imam Hassan would
[4:22]truly stand out materialistically he was generous and also when it came
[4:27]to his religious obligation we see that he was also generous at
[4:34]a different level very briefly before we look at some beautiful lessons
[4:37]from the life of an imam and Hassan and his beautiful words
[4:40]materialistically Imam and Hassan three times in his life he gave up
[4:48]all his wealth to the poor three times in his life can
[4:51]I do that and two or three times in his life he
[4:57]split his wealth in half exactly and he gave one half to
[5:01]the poor and he kept one half for himself this shows you
[5:04]the extent of his amazing generosity during those times when many people
[5:10]were underprivileged and deprived imam al hassan ali salam would be the
[5:14]first one to share his wealth with them and to set a
[5:21]fine example of philanthropy and humanitarian work but imam hassan in his
[5:27]generosity he was also humble see sometimes i can be generous someone
[5:31]comes and tells me there is a humanitarian project we want a
[5:35]donation from you I take out a cheque and I write that
[5:40]donation that's great it's beautiful however sometimes I go and I spend
[5:48]time with the poor and respect them do I have the humbleness
[5:51]to do that once Imam and Hasan was passing by a group
[5:58]of homeless people Masaki a group of destitute poor people they were
[6:02]sitting in a circle eating some crumbs of bread castrato middle clubs
[6:08]some crumbs of bread when they saw him at Hassan honey said
[6:11]I'm passing by he was riding his horse he told him yep
[6:15]not a Sunnah last saruman alaikum why don't you come and join
[6:21]us now imagine if you pass by a group of poor people
[6:23]and they tell you come and join us and they're eating some
[6:29]crumbs of bread you know if I want to be polite I
[6:30]tell them you know thank you I appreciate it and shallow some
[6:35]other time here I'll give you some money if I want to
[6:37]be generous but you know what the master of the youth of
[6:40]paradise did he down from his horse he sat with them and
[6:43]he really made them feel as if he was one of them
[6:49]they became so excited and so happy that the grandson of Rasulullah
[6:52]is sitting on the floor with us and they map says yes
[6:56]I'll eat with you that's his humbleness then the imam ali said
[7:00]i'm look at his generosity he told them come over come to
[7:04]my house I would like you've invited me I accepted your invitation
[7:07]now you accept my invitation see how he respected their dignity he
[7:12]did not make them feel as if they were poor people desperate
[7:15]he protected their honor and their dignity he told them come over
[7:21]to my house he hosted them in his house and he gave
[7:23]them the best meal this is an imam hasan and most of
[7:27]us are to lie ali and we can go on and on
[7:31]to examine his generosity but there is another dimension of the generosity
[7:36]of an imam al hassan ali salam and we find that during
[7:40]his times due to the tactics of mahalia and his evil path
[7:48]the believers were experiencing a lot of difficulty imam and hassan came
[7:52]to the point to the conclusion that there must be truce with
[7:55]mahalia he never pledged them allegiance but there should be truce because
[7:59]Marioni is evil tactics he will destroy every believer out there and
[8:06]he will destroy the Muslim society so we need to have a
[8:09]truce with them to save Islam just like his grandfather and I
[8:13]saw the last sallallahu I wanna did with the pagans didn't the
[8:17]Prophet make a peace treaty a truce at had a BIA with
[8:22]thee with the pagans with the mushrikeen of Mecca in order to
[8:25]protect the Muslims so he was following into the footsteps of his
[8:29]grandfather but unfortunately a lot of people even some of his close
[8:32]companions they did not have the vision Imam and Hasan had they
[8:38]kept attacking him they told him o Hassan you're humiliating us you
[8:41]made a truce with mahalia this is unacceptable this is a disgrace
[8:47]they would come in his face they tell him you disgraced us
[8:50]but al imam hassan had to be patient he sacrificed his dignity
[8:54]for the sake of Islam can you do that some people are
[8:59]willing to sacrifice their wealth but are you willing to sacrifice your
[9:02]position and your dignity for the sake of allah subhanaw taala that
[9:06]the generous of a little bait Alabaman hasn't sacrificed his dignity if
[9:11]the plan of God meant that the believers should be protected that
[9:18]Islam should survive and I expose mahalia through a different way by
[9:22]making a truce and then he will show the world that he
[9:24]broke every clause in that treaty and that's how I expose him
[9:28]I will do that for the sake of Allah subhana WA Ta'ala
[9:31]but this was a heavy price that he had to pay this
[9:35]is the generosity of an imam and hassan salameh to Lahani my
[9:39]dear brothers and sisters i would like to say take some words
[9:46]of wisdom some perils from an imam al hasan in which time'
[9:49]when we commemorate the birth or the legacy of our imams what's
[9:53]important is for us to learn from them to take their teachings
[9:58]and implement them in our lives I would like to share with
[10:01]you some words of wisdom from an imam and hassan so that
[10:06]we can implement these teachings in our lives the first is a
[10:11]beautiful statement it's a beautiful word of advice from the imam alayhi
[10:16]salam in which the Imam says to a person who came and
[10:23]he told him o Hassan so-and-so person is talking negatively about you
[10:29]this is a type of an amoeba it's a type of negative
[10:35]way of creating animosity between the people you go and you tell
[10:40]your friend so-and-so person's talking negatively about you slandering you backbiting you
[10:45]so this man came to an imam al hasan Adi Silla and
[10:49]he told a member so let me now to sort of that
[10:50]others are talking about you and so on so person said so-and-so
[10:55]about you you know what the Imam Ali Salaam told him the
[10:58]Imam Ali Salaam told him a baton evita Hori Delana and a
[11:05]staffer Allah Allah Allah the Imam Ali said told him you made
[11:11]my job harder now you put me through difficulty now you put
[11:15]a burden on me he thought any mom and her son would
[11:18]say oh really that person's talking negatively about me What did he
[11:23]say imam al hassan now you put the burden on me to
[11:25]go and ask allah to forgive you see the response of ali
[11:30]muhammad hassan now that i know this person is talking about me
[11:33]my obligation is to go and ask a lot to forgive that
[11:37]person now you just increase the list of things I have to
[11:39]do for the day see how the Imam twisted it instead of
[11:43]using it as something negative that creates animosity the Imam Ali Salaam
[11:47]twisted it to something that's positive and he says now I have
[11:51]to go and do the offer him thank you for letting me
[11:54]know that I should do out for my brother you see how
[11:56]he made it positive and this is a beautiful lesson for us
[12:00]my dear brothers and sisters one of the biggest challenges that we
[12:03]have is what I call the best sessions when we get together
[12:07]and we start backbiting often times we don't really have something productive
[12:14]to talk about so we talk about people and their activities and
[12:19]their faults and their private life Aslam says people have dignity respect
[12:25]their dignity always use these sessions my dear brothers and sisters in
[12:30]a positive way a lot of brothers will tell me the following
[12:33]a lot of sisters will say we'll say the following - they
[12:37]say say it if I go to this session in which there's
[12:39]backbiting and gossip and if I want to change the subject or
[12:45]if I tell them not to back by I will no longer
[12:47]feel welcome in that group they will tell me oh you want
[12:53]to lecture us we don't like you to lecture us and you're
[12:55]acting holy and you're acting religious what is this a lot of
[13:01]people have told me this that we try to stop the Heba
[13:04]in these sessions in these gatherings but it doesn't work especially with
[13:10]family members right they'll immediately accuse you of trying to lecture them
[13:15]and they'll get annoyed by you so what do we do we
[13:17]have to be creative just like an imam al hasan was very
[13:21]creative look at the career of the Imam a man comes and
[13:25]publicly tells him so-and-so person is talking negatively about you the Imam
[13:28]says okay now I have to go and ask for forgiveness he
[13:32]ended it right there we have to develop creativity in order to
[13:36]address these labor sessions these backbiting and gossiping sessions how I'll give
[13:41]you an example usually when we go to a gathering Asahara we
[13:47]go unarmed without any planning that's wrong a believer is the one
[13:55]who thinks and contemplates when the hadith says the best act of
[14:01]worship is to think and contemplate one hour of contemplation has more
[14:07]value than 70 units of Salah what does that mean what are
[14:11]you thinking about what does a believer think about before you go
[14:17]to a session you need to sit for a few hours sometimes
[14:19]yes you have to go prepared to every session I anticipate if
[14:23]I go to this session there's gonna be gossip and backbiting so
[14:26]what do I do in order to have a positive discussion and
[14:31]make it so interesting so they don't have time to talk about
[14:35]people's faults this requires that you go with preparation so knowing your
[14:39]friends knowing your family members what is it that usually interest them
[14:42]sit for an hour think come up with interesting points interesting discussions
[14:48]and before they even start to gossip you introduce a wonderful idea
[14:53]and keep them busy discussing something that they're interested in and that
[15:00]it's very productive as well it's very difficult but it works trying
[15:04]but you need to go with preparation believe me if you sit
[15:07]one hour and you think of creative ways to keep your friends
[15:11]and family members busy discussing important things that has more value than
[15:16]your Salah because that's an act of worship you're protecting the dignity
[15:20]of others in society you're helping your family members and friends not
[15:25]to backbiting gossip because backbiting and gossip is one of the biggest
[15:29]sins you can commit that in itself is an act of ibadah
[15:31]and we learned this from an imam and hassan be creative go
[15:35]prepared to that session don't just say okay let me go and
[15:39]have a good time and see what happens work on the number
[15:43]of points beforehand and as soon as you sit with your friends
[15:46]bring these beautiful points that will gain their interest and this is
[15:51]something what a scholar would do I had the honor of know
[15:56]knowing him before he passed away one day the scholar was going
[16:02]to meet a person who was important in society that other person
[16:06]had the habit of backbiting the minute you sit with him he
[16:11]starts backbiting and he was an elderly person this scholar was younger
[16:14]so if the scholar wants to tell him you know don't back
[16:16]by it he will take it offensively you know you're half my
[16:21]age you're lecturing me it would not go well so the scholars
[16:23]spent that night thinking thinking thinking he asked what are the interests
[16:29]of this person what kind of you know discussions does he usually
[16:32]like he did some research he went to that gathering it lasted
[16:36]for one hour before that elderly man started his activity of gossiping
[16:43]and destroying people's reputation this scholars started introducing so many beautiful points
[16:50]and he got the attention of that person the hour was done
[16:53]and they did not backbite not even once and that's how he
[16:58]saved the situation but this requires efforts and creativity and this is
[17:01]something that we learn from an imam and Hassan in which Taba
[17:04]salawatu line Ali this is one word of wisdom and advice I
[17:09]would like to share with you a second word of advice that
[17:14]we find from al imam al mustafa salawatullahi ali the imam ali
[17:20]salam says the best tool that you have as a believer as
[17:24]a decent person as what silence silence is your most powerful tool
[17:31]you know one time one time I was with a group of
[17:38]youth and you know they expressed that they do struggle with this
[17:41]idea of talking and talking without paying attention to what they say
[17:48]and it's human nature we like to talk right everybody likes to
[17:52]talk most people they love to talk I gave them one exercise
[17:57]I told them the next time you get together and you start
[18:00]talking I want you to put a tape recorder or get out
[18:05]a voice app on your iPhone or Android and record that session
[18:09]just record it not for you to circulate it later no it's
[18:15]for you to learn from it six months later six months later
[18:19]go and listen to that one hour and listen to what you
[18:25]said and you will realize that 80% of that talk was nonsense
[18:29]80% of it was sinful the minute we start using this tongue
[18:35]my dear brothers and sisters we start committing mistakes that's why the
[18:39]hadith says every morning the body parts symbolically of course don't take
[18:44]this literally symbolically they beg the tongue they say to the tongue
[18:50]make sure you keep yourself in check if what you say today
[18:53]is good we'll all be good if what you say is bad
[18:57]you'll impact all of us and Subhan Allah even the biology of
[18:59]the tongue and the mouth and the teeth it helps you to
[19:05]keep your mouth controlled see ya where did Allah put the tongue
[19:10]behind two barriers one is your mouth right you have to open
[19:17]your mouth to talk in other words Allah biologically is telling you
[19:20]seal it as much as you can it's sealed you have to
[19:22]open your mouth to talk then after the mouth and the lips
[19:26]what do you have you have the teeth what do the teeth
[19:31]look like you know sometimes the teeth if you elongate them just
[19:33]a little bit they look like prison bars in essence a last
[19:36]telling you keep this tongue locked keep it locked like you were
[19:41]locked in a prison behind bars keep it before the bars you
[19:45]have to open the bars and open the mouth in order to
[19:47]say something that's God's Way of even biologically telling you control your
[19:52]mouth control your tongue most words that we say my dear brothers
[20:00]and sisters are words that are either negative or just nonsense they're
[20:04]not productive and remember everything is being recorded on the day of
[20:09]judgment I will open this book and everything I said will be
[20:14]recorded how does that make me feel will I be proud on
[20:18]the day of judgment when I stand before God and billions of
[20:20]people and people will see my book of Deeds and I said
[20:24]all these words so any man man hasan hani salaam teaches us
[20:27]that your best companion is silence speak when it's productive speak when
[20:32]it's necessary if it's not necessary if it's not brits productive you
[20:38]can do away with it because the damage that you can do
[20:40]through speech is a lot more this is the second word of
[20:46]advice that we learned from an imam and hassan in Mujtaba sora
[20:49]wa tuula honey the third piece of advice my dear brothers and
[20:52]sisters that we find in the hadith of Alabaman Mujtaba in salam
[20:58]the imam ali salam says atop Allah above the law be pious
[21:02]fear Allah o servants of Allah walamu and who may yet ilaha
[21:13]allahumma hegemonal fitten the imam ali salam reminds us of a verse
[21:17]in the quran he says if you really observe the law of
[21:19]god your pious Allah will find a way out for you don't
[21:26]think that through sins through cheating through fraud you will become successful
[21:31]observe the laws of God Allah will find you away my dear
[21:35]brothers and sisters I would like to share with you a story
[21:41]that really demonstrates this beautiful word of advice from an imam and
[21:45]mooched Abadi is Sarah I heard the story from my grandfather it's
[21:48]a true story that occurred in Iraq about a century ago when
[21:52]the Ottomans were ruling or in fact more than a century ago
[21:57]there was a young man who worked at a cafe in Baghdad
[22:01]Iran when the Ottomans were ruling he was a very humble young
[22:09]man but he was pious he was god-fearing one day a minister
[22:12]a Turkish minister from Istanbul he had come to visit Iraq so
[22:17]he came to this cafe to have some tea or coffee now
[22:22]this Minister was wearing a very expensive belt made from gold yes
[22:30]these people that if they can wear gold they they wear gold
[22:33]it's no problem for them for these rulers and ministers even though
[22:36]islam says it's haram for who meant to wear gold but he
[22:39]had a very expensive belt made of gold when he was at
[22:46]the cafe he wanted to use the restroom so he basically untied
[22:48]the belt he put it on the side he went to this
[22:54]washroom when he came back he forgot to put the belt on
[22:56]and he left the cafe this young pious man he saw that
[23:03]the minister left his belt and it was a very expensive belt
[23:06]imagine a thick belt made of pure gold that's very expensive he
[23:12]could have taken it and lived an entire lifetime on it it
[23:15]was a fortune but he was god-fearing but the Shaitaan he does
[23:22]his whisperings you know should I take this who knows I can
[23:25]take this he left the cafe and I can act as a
[23:29]fine oversee and I'll be rich for the rest of my life
[23:33]he said no I will keep it he went he took it
[23:34]he stored it somewhere so no one else steals it he's like
[23:37]eventually the minister is going to come back looking for it right
[23:39]so I'll save it for him well guess what the next day
[23:45]the minister appeared and he was talking to the owner of the
[23:50]cafe he told him have you seen a missing belt over here
[23:51]the owner said no I have not seen a belt I'm not
[23:55]aware of that and he did it he really did not know
[23:58]the young man overheard the minister talking to the owner the young
[24:03]man came he told him minister yes this belt is with me
[24:08]he's like what do you mean with me is like you forgot
[24:10]it yesterday so I saved it in a closet so no one
[24:13]steals it and I knew you would come back he's like where
[24:16]let me see it he went and he got them the belt
[24:18]the minister examined it he's like yes this is my belt then
[24:25]what happened the next thing that happened this Minister raised his hand
[24:29]and he slapped this young man imagine instead of thanking him for
[24:36]his honesty he slapped him in front of everyone in embarrassed him
[24:39]he told him shame on you you're a thief your intent your
[24:45]goal was to steal my belt but now that I came and
[24:47]you know there are guards outside you got scared and intimidated so
[24:53]you came and you handed it but Urania was to steal it
[24:57]imagine and he left this young man after he left he was
[25:05]so demoralized he was so upset he told his boss I am
[25:07]leaving I'm no longer working here you saw how he embarrassed me
[25:13]and then he felt uncomfortable with God subhanAllah sometimes when Allah tests
[25:18]us we object to him and he said to his boss basically
[25:20]is this how God rewards me for my honesty instead of Allah
[25:26]rewarding me I got a slap and he was upset with allah
[25:29]subhanaw taala i became pious for the sake of God but look
[25:33]at what Allah did to me the owner started to talk to
[25:37]him telling him you're such a good man you're decent please stay
[25:39]here it's okay this guy is an idiot he is very arrogant
[25:44]he said no no I will not stay here anymore now at
[25:47]the time because it was difficult to find a job in Baghdad
[25:52]due to the economic circumstances during the latter part of the Ottoman
[25:57]rule he decided to migrate to the capital of the Ottomans the
[26:01]economy there was better in hopes of finding a good job so
[26:07]he travelled from Baghdad to Istanbul when he entered the city of
[26:11]Istanbul and he entered the gates he entered the city suddenly guards
[26:15]out of nowhere they arrested him he said now what Oh God
[26:21]I left but God after that horrible incident now the minute I
[26:27]come here they arrest me and he objected to God he was
[26:29]very upset but he did have Iman and faith in his heart
[26:33]he told him why are you arresting me what did I do
[26:35]they said it's none of your business come it's by the orders
[26:39]of the court Ciccone mean orders of the court nobody even knows
[26:42]me here I'm a please stranger they're like we know but you
[26:45]must come to the court he went to the court he saw
[26:49]the salt on the the empty the Sultan was present ministers were
[26:54]present what's going on and basically he was told by the judge
[26:59]there was a judge over there he told him one of the
[27:02]ministers in Turkey he divorced his wife three times in son nila
[27:09]and a lot of schools of thought some new schools of thought
[27:12]if a man divorces his wife three times instantaneously she becomes Haram
[27:17]on him unlawful to him and if he wants to go back
[27:22]to her what does she have to do she has to marry
[27:23]another man she divorces that man then he can go back to
[27:29]her now in our law this does not work you cannot divorce
[27:32]your wife three times in one setting three actual divorces have to
[27:39]take place in order for that to happen but in a lot
[27:40]of Sunni law that does happen in any case that Minister that
[27:44]day I don't know he had a fight with his wife he
[27:49]got angry so he divorced her three times now she has to
[27:52]marry someone else before she can go back to her husband now
[27:57]this is tough so what did the minister say the minister told
[28:00]the judge look I don't want anybody who knows me in the
[28:05]city to marry my wife and then divorcing her I can't accept
[28:07]that so I want someone who's a complete stranger so they ordered
[28:12]the guards to code to go and find a complete stranger who
[28:16]doesn't know the minister who doesn't know anything so he doesn't have
[28:19]ties to the city right he's like okay I'll accept that let
[28:22]a complete stranger marry my wife and then we'll take it from
[28:26]there so we found this young boy he just arrived Istanbul he
[28:29]doesn't know anyone he's confused he's shocked he doesn't know what's going
[28:34]on but he's intimidated ministers guards the court he says okay come
[28:39]on let's see what God has in store for us so the
[28:43]judge told him okay now I will make the marriage contract everyone's
[28:47]witnessing tomorrow you will come and we can do the divorce then
[28:50]after the waiting period they can she can go back to her
[28:54]first husband the minister what happened after that that night he went
[28:59]was a beautiful palace because the minister the ministers were very wealthy
[29:04]so he goes into the house of that Minister and he meets
[29:06]his new wife his bride and he is only to spend time
[29:11]with her that night now he's in the room he's shocked he
[29:14]doesn't know what's going on and he sees she seemed like a
[29:20]very decent woman she was a very beautiful woman and she was
[29:22]young close to his age he's confused he's looking around the room
[29:28]and she tells him why are you confused you should be happy
[29:32]right you should not be confused in this moment suddenly he sees
[29:36]something in the room he breaks into tears he starts crying she
[29:41]tells him why are you crying I don't understand he says it's
[29:45]something between me and Allah he said no she says no I
[29:48]insist you tell me what is it that you're crying over he
[29:52]tried to keep it away from her but she kept insisting he
[29:55]said okay I'll tell you he tells her about the incident in
[30:02]Baghdad when a Turkish Minister came and slapped him because of that
[30:07]belt he says now in this room I see that same belt
[30:12]hanging on the wall and I just realized that the minister who
[30:16]slapped me and he did that to me as your husband the
[30:21]one who divorced you and I broke into tears and I said
[30:23]oh Allah Subhan Allah how your world works that man humiliated me
[30:29]and you brought me into his palace and his wife became my
[30:33]wife I'm just thankful to allow for all that now it gets
[30:38]even better she tells him look now that you mentioned the story
[30:41]let me tell you my husband is the most arrogant person I've
[30:45]seen and I can't stand his o'clock and his anger and always
[30:51]he disrespects me so I believe this is a perfect opportunity for
[30:54]me to get rid of him I don't want to go back
[30:57]to him you seem like a very decent man especially with your
[31:01]story you're a god-fearing person I want to marry you and stay
[31:04]your wife I don't want to go back to him he says
[31:07]he's gonna he's going to kill me what do you mean just
[31:08]like no don't worry I have a plan my father is also
[31:12]a minister and he's more powerful than my husband the minister and
[31:15]I will tell my father tonight that I want to marry you
[31:20]so tomorrow when you go in the presence of the judge and
[31:21]the judge says okay do you want to divorce her now because
[31:25]no one can force you to divorce say no I don't agree
[31:27]he tells her are you sure about this your husband is going
[31:31]to kill me if I say that just like don't worry I've
[31:34]got you covered the next day comes they appear in court the
[31:37]judge says okay so do you now divorce your wife he stood
[31:42]up with confidence he said no I don't want to divorce her
[31:45]I want to keep her as my wife he says what do
[31:48]you mean there was you know some sort of agreement he's like
[31:51]no she wants me and I want her now immediately her as
[31:56]her husband stands up with guards he's about to kill him when
[31:58]she gives the signal to her father her father who was a
[32:03]more powerful Minister he steps in he says no my daughter wants
[32:05]to marry this young man and it is my orders that we
[32:09]allow him to marry her and he signals to her husband you
[32:11]back off and he goes and he has and he lives a
[32:16]wonderful life till the end of his life one moment my dear
[32:21]brothers and sisters one moment this is a true story one moment
[32:24]this man feared Allah for the sake of Allah he did not
[32:30]steal he did not violate look how allah subhanaw taala compensated him
[32:34]he was poor he couldn't get married Allah got him married he
[32:38]was poor he didn't have wealth Allah brought him to a palace
[32:43]and see how Allah opened the paths for him and the Quran
[32:46]says what many attack Allah you have taqwa Ya Allah Allah will
[32:50]find a way for you why are you coming - I after
[32:53]said Allah will give you your sustenance in ways you won't even
[32:57]imagine in ways that did not even come to your mind and
[33:02]environment Hassan Ali sallam reminds us of this principle be with Allah
[33:06]subhana wa ta'ala observe his laws he will find a way out
[33:11]for you don't think you will be stuck you have a lord
[33:12]who will help you with that and these are some beautiful lessons
[33:19]my dear brothers and sisters that we learn from an imam in
[33:23]mujtaba salawatullahi Ali the last lesson that I would like to share
[33:26]with you before we conclude the Imam Ali is Salaam in one
[33:32]word of advice and this is very brief the Imam Mahdi's Salaam
[33:36]says do not be so worried about tomorrow some people the reason
[33:46]why they're so depressed and you see they're not enjoying their lives
[33:51]they're obsessed thinking about tomorrow in the future what will happen tomorrow
[33:55]in three days from now in five days from now and it
[33:58]in ten years from now and you burden yourself with these negative
[34:01]thoughts and you feel so depressed and you lose hope the imam
[34:07]mahdi salaam says don't worry about tomorrow do your job today what
[34:10]happens with you tomorrow whether you'll get sick you'll go broke something
[34:14]bad will happen leave that to allah subhanho wa tada don't worry
[34:18]so much be concerned about your day know that you have a
[34:25]creator who will take care of you there was a businessman in
[34:26]one of the countries my dear brothers and sisters this businessman lost
[34:31]in the stock market in one Muslim country so he woke up
[34:37]one day he saw that he lost his stock he was very
[34:40]disparate depressed he went home he started thinking with the money that
[34:46]I have the house that I have the furniture that I have
[34:48]the cash that I have on the side how much can I
[34:53]live with it he figured I can live for two years the
[34:56]money that I currently have the assets that I currently have can
[35:01]give me money for two years I can live on them for
[35:04]two years then what happens after the two years the third year
[35:07]what am I going to do I'm going to go on the
[35:11]street I'm going to back subhanAllah two years it's guaranteed for him
[35:13]he has the money he's worrying about the third year there is
[35:16]no God he's not going to give you a little zip why
[35:20]lose hope you know what this man did he lost so much
[35:27]hope thinking that in two two years from now he's going to
[35:29]go broke and he was going to go poor he took out
[35:33]a gun and he committed suicide he killed himself now maybe that's
[35:38]an extreme case but every day my dear brothers and sisters to
[35:41]a lesser extent we do this to ourselves we keep thinking negatively
[35:46]about the future and having negative thoughts and what if and what
[35:50]if and thousands of what-ifs if this were to happen if this
[35:53]were to happen relax allah subhanaw taala as your Creator he's your
[35:57]joaquin he acts on your behalf why lose hope the imam ali
[36:03]sanam says don't be obsessed about the future yes plan be responsible
[36:07]but don't be obsessed and say in the future what's going to
[36:10]happen to me what if this bad thing happened or that bad
[36:14]things happen it's okay you have a lord allah subhanho to allah's
[36:17]with you submit your case to allah and he will take care
[36:21]of you these are some beautiful words of wisdom we take from
[36:24]Le Monde Hassan Ali in Salaam and to honor his legacy my
[36:29]dear brothers and sisters let's practice these words of wisdom that's the
[36:34]best way we can honor the Imams of Allen bait we ask
[36:37]Allah subhana WA Ta'ala to bless us with the path of guidance
[36:42]and to allow us to implement the words of an imam and
[36:44]Hassan and we ask Allah subhana WA Ta'ala to grant us the
[36:48]shafa and the intercession of an imam al hasan for he is
[36:51]saying Shah Baba Halil Jana o allah allahu allah sayidina muhammadin wa
[36:56]ala nabina by hearing
