[7:27]of IM ja the sixth IM of who these days we will
[7:33]be commemorating his martyrdom and inshallah tonight we will talk a little
[7:40]bit about his life and take some lessons from his life and
[7:47]I also wanted to give you my condolences especially to the Bev
[7:54]family of Al Nadia bzi who passed away a few a few
[8:00]days ago and she left a loss in this community because she
[8:08]was known in this community for the good deeds that she had
[8:12]and the good memories that she left behind so we ask Allah
[8:19]subhanahu wa ta'ala to elevate her ranks in paradise and Grant her
[8:25]family patience to endure this loss and I know her children are
[8:30]here and her relatives are here and we ask Allah subhah wa
[8:34]ta'ala to bless them and to give them the patience and the
[8:38]ability to continue her Legacy we ask you all to recite for
[8:46]her soul one of the orders in the Quran that Allah subhanahu
[9:10]wa ta'ala instructs all Muslims to follow through with and abide by
[9:16]is that we are instructed to live in moderation Allah subhanahu wa
[9:25]ta'ala wants you to be a person who takes the middle path
[9:29]extremism is not liked in Islam extremism is not promoted in the
[9:39]Quran and we don't see it in the life ofas nor in
[9:43]the lives of the imams the Quran tells us to take the
[9:46]middle path to be easygoing to not be extreme in any any
[9:52]belief that you have any type of extremism is not going to
[9:57]be good even if it's something good say for example I want
[9:59]to pray 24 hours a day this is something that is not
[10:04]encouraged there were some of the sahaba they would come to the
[10:06]prophet and they would tell him we want to pray we want
[10:10]to fast every day out of the Year Allah told them don't
[10:12]do that because you're supposed to live with moderation you're supposed to
[10:16]take the middle path and Allah subhana says in the Quran we
[10:25]have made you an um that takes the middle path and today
[10:41]if you want to Define someone's success you see a successful person
[10:48]is the one who's able to live with moderation person who's able
[10:52]to balance their lives balance the responsibilities within their lives I have
[10:55]responsibilities towards my God I have responsibilities towards my my work I
[10:59]have responsibilities towards my family I have responsibilities towards my friends towards
[11:05]my neighbors a successful person is the one who's able to balance
[11:09]all of the responsibilities maybe there are some they're good in one
[11:12]thing particular one thing in particular but they have shortcomings with regards
[11:16]to everything else that's not success success is when you're able to
[11:25]manage everything and live a balanced life now this is one of
[11:30]the struggles that we see Muslims facing today is how can I
[11:34]practice my faith and at the same time be accepted and assimilate
[11:40]into my community into my Society you see a lot of people
[11:43]struggle with that either I'm practicing my faith but I'm disassociated with
[11:48]the community I'm disassociated with Society I feel that I'm kind of
[11:54]marginalized I'm pushed aside or if I assimilate fully I feel like
[11:58]I've left my religion and I've left my faith and my values
[12:02]and it's very difficult for a person to be able to live
[12:10]that Balanced Life today when we remember the life of IM we
[12:14]see that he gives us great examples on how to live with
[12:20]moderation how to be accepted in your community be accepted by people
[12:28]that may perceive you as an enemy how to be respected and
[12:32]hold on to your faith and at the same time you're integrated
[12:38]into society you're not marginalized you're not a fringe group you're not
[12:44]pushed aside and we see that IM was extremely successful in that
[12:48]living that balanced lifestyle which we see many Muslims they suffer with
[12:53]because you see either they're living full on religion but they miss
[12:56]out on a lot of their a lot of their other responsibilities
[13:01]towards Society towards their work towards their friends towards neighbors towards other
[13:04]people or some people they leave religion all together because they have
[13:08]these social responsibilities that they have to fill fulfill when we see
[13:17]Imam sad he lived in a time where there were many changes
[13:19]in his community there are many changes in his Society there were
[13:23]political changes that were going on during the life of Imam sad
[13:30]Imam sadik was was born during the reign of B the umad
[13:33]were those who were responsible for killing IM Hussein killing IM Z
[13:40]fighting imass IM during the life of IM they began to lose
[13:48]power they ruled for over 80 years from the time of mua
[13:50]all the way until Imad they began to their power began to
[13:56]decline and another group another mon another family came to rule and
[14:03]that was the Abbasi Dynasty they were from the children of Abbas
[14:07]the uncle of the Prophet they came to power IM lived during
[14:12]a time of political transition he lived during a time of ideological
[14:18]changes and movement in the community and Society during the time of
[14:23]IM sad that era today if you go and you read about
[14:28]Islam's history that era was referred to as Islam's Golden Era why
[14:34]because it was during that period that you have many ideologies and
[14:40]many thoughts and many beliefs entering into the climate and Muslims were
[14:50]listening and hearing to all of this different conversation some ideologies that
[14:55]go against Islam they were being promoted and they were being presented
[14:59]in society as if everything is is normal you know right now
[15:01]when you look at the Muslim countries you see there's a lot
[15:07]of censoring there's a lot of suppression no one has the freedom
[15:10]to voice their opinion maybe you might get arrested if you tweet
[15:13]something during the time of Imad it was the the beliefs beliefs
[15:19]even beliefs that are contrary to Islamic values for example atheist beliefs
[15:25]or beliefs of schools of thoughts different schools of thoughts that go
[15:30]against IM sad and go against the they were being promoted and
[15:37]they were they were accepted into society you know right now we
[15:42]all you go to school you go to university you go to
[15:45]high school you go to middle school they talk about they talk
[15:49]about the Greek philosophers Greek and Roman philosophers for example Plato and
[15:53]Aristotle and Socrates these philosophers how did their work right now when
[16:03]you read it at the school you read their work and you
[16:08]read their writing how did it come to us in English it
[16:11]came to us through the Muslims it came to us through the
[16:15]through the Muslims because these Works they were translated from Greek and
[16:21]Roman to Arabic and during the Islamic Golden Era they were spread
[16:28]across the Muslim world and then they came came to us right
[16:31]now so today when you read works of anything pre-islam pre-islamic era
[16:37]you see that there's a lot of credit that goes to the
[16:41]Muslim Golden Era and specifically during the time of Imam sad that
[16:45]freedom that was given that that work has reached us today so
[16:52]Imam was living in a time of diversity there was transition in
[16:55]politics there was change in politics there was change in beliefs in
[16:59]ideologies there were many different ideologies there were atheists that were living
[17:04]during the time of IM sad sometimes they would come and they
[17:08]would have the freedom to debate the IM and the Imam he
[17:11]would speak with them he would welcome them even people who were
[17:14]at odds with his own belief the Imam he would speak with
[17:19]them and welcome them and talk to them this is the freedom
[17:21]that Islam brought and IM Sadam brought so you see the Imam
[17:31]he managed to uphold his own identity and uphold his own beliefs
[17:35]and his own ideology which is he is the IM and the
[17:40]leader of the sh school of thought and today the sh where
[17:42]do you get as a where do you take your from from
[17:47]IM that's why they refer to the sh because the the the
[17:53]is from IM ja the Juris Prudence is from the IM because
[17:59]he had such a great role an influence on the Shia beliefs
[18:03]and Shia ideology and then at the same time you also have
[18:07]the Imam he is he is having his own beliefs and his
[18:14]values and at the same time the Imam was able to integrate
[18:18]within the community and within society and this is something that the
[18:24]IM was able to do Muhammad Muhammad the IM he was able
[18:41]to bring that balance something that many people find difficult imagine yourself
[18:46]living in a society in a time where there's many different ideologies
[18:51]many different beliefs there's changes in politics the Imam was able to
[18:57]uphold the Muslim Unity because the Quran instructs Muslims to to protect
[19:03]the Muslim unity and protect the Muslim Community Allah says in the
[19:08]Quran your is one you have to live and act as if
[19:14]you're one Community the Imam was able to uphold the Muslim Community
[19:20]as a whole and at the same time he was able to
[19:22]establish himself as a leader and uphold his own ideology and this
[19:27]is the balance this is the moderation that we see the Imam
[19:32]was able to exhibit and live with and this is the the
[19:40]skills that the Imam had he was able to do that why
[19:42]because of several skills and several features that he had in his
[19:48]life you see them manifested in the life of the Imam one
[19:51]of them is that the IM Alam followed what the Quran teaches
[19:57]us and what brought forth and encouraged all Muslims to practice and
[20:03]Implement and that is that knowledge is sacred seek knowledge for itself
[20:10]there's nothing wrong with seeking knowledge even if you might have to
[20:15]go somewhere far even if you might have to go and take
[20:17]it from someone who's a non-muslim he says in his famous seek
[20:27]knowledge even if it's in China imag 1400 years ago is saying
[20:32]this at a time where people can't travel where people can't go
[20:35]anywhere he says seek knowledge even if it's over there why because
[20:38]knowledge is sacred because knowledge is valuable and Imad through his life
[20:45]and through his ways he Sanctified knowledge and this is why people
[20:50]would come to him they would they would travel far distances to
[20:57]reach the Imam just so that they could seek knowledge the Imam
[21:01]would sit in Medina or sometimes in kufa and he would have
[21:05]lectures and sessions on different topics one day he's talking about Quran
[21:12]one day he's talking about the Hadith of the prophets but sometimes
[21:17]the Imam he would sit and he would talk about human anatomy
[21:20]the physical anatomy of a human body there is one narrator of
[21:26]the IM his name is Al this man he says one day
[21:32]I went to IM ja because there were some atheists that they
[21:35]were sitting outside of M outside of the prophet's mosque and they
[21:42]were speaking against religion and speaking against God you know the same
[21:45]thing that you see some professors doing right now in in in
[21:48]a biology class in a chemistry class they say and they start
[21:54]trying to destroy the whole faith and ideology of some people so
[21:58]what does what does this person do he says I heard I
[22:03]heard some I heard this man these men they were talking and
[22:06]I had no reply so he says I go to IM and
[22:09]I tell him this is what they're saying save the religion of
[22:17]your grandfather so IM sad tells him sit down and he started
[22:20]talking to him about proving the faith but what did he use
[22:23]did he use the Quran or did he say and and say
[22:29]Hadith of the prophet no the IM he talked about the human
[22:35]anatomy and the different systems within the body the respiratory system and
[22:40]the digestive system and the circulatory system all of these systems and
[22:43]this is no this is a book this is a book by
[22:48]the name of the of you could read this book it's been
[22:51]translated into English as well the Imam 1400 years ago he talks
[22:57]about these different subjects sometimes he talk talks about mathematics he talks
[23:03]about chemistry the father of modernday chemistry was a student of IM
[23:07]ja by the name of this man he was a student of
[23:14]IM ja he begins writing the first treaties the first book and
[23:18]work on chemistry he begins by saying Muhammad he says I heard
[23:25]from my master ja and then he begins talking about chemistry this
[23:30]is when you value knowledge then you're going to be welcoming to
[23:36]other people then you're going to be tolerant of different ideas and
[23:41]different beliefs and this is why in Islam we have no fear
[23:43]because Islam is a religion that is based upon logic Islam is
[23:49]a religion that makes sense and Islam it makes sense in itself
[23:55]and if you have the knowledge then you will be able to
[23:57]get closer to Allah subhana so the IM he was able to
[24:03]create that balance he was able to gather people to him because
[24:06]he valued knowledge and this is why different people people that did
[24:11]not agree with him in his faith did not accept him as
[24:13]an IM they would come to him as a knowledgeable person in
[24:18]the in the community for example some of the heads of the
[24:22]schools of thought today they talk about the four the the Sha
[24:28]the Maliki and the Hani these are the four m in the
[24:34]Sunni School of thoughts some of them were directly impacted by IM
[24:38]ja for example Abu hanif the leader of the Hani school of
[24:44]thought the Hani school of thought is probably the biggest or one
[24:46]of the biggest of the schools of thought in the Sunni World
[24:49]Abu hanif he was a student of IM ja he used to
[24:54]come and he used to take lessons from IM ja for two
[24:59]years he used to sit under the member under the pulpit of
[25:04]the Imam and he has a famous statement in which he says
[25:08]if it were not for the two years his name ISB he
[25:15]says and would have perished if it were not for the two
[25:21]years that I studied under Imam and he saw himself as a
[25:26]student of the Imam later on some of these individuals because the
[25:30]governments they wanted to prop up certain individuals so that they could
[25:34]be challenging to Im so that people don't say there's only one
[25:38]teacher in town so the governments they would promote certain teachers and
[25:44]give them they would Finance them the same way right now the
[25:47]same the same exact way right now some universities some governments they
[25:52]finance certain ideologies certain uh professors certain teachers because they have a
[25:58]specific ideology they find out them they tell them you have a
[26:00]chair and IM sad whoever attends his class is going to be
[26:02]sanctioned whoever attends IM sadd's class is going to be persecuted and
[26:06]imprisoned and this is exactly how it happened there was another one
[26:14]Malik Al IM Malik the the Malik IB anas the the leader
[26:17]of the Maliki school of thought he says my eyes and no
[26:23]eyes and no ears have seen or heard anyone more knowledgeable and
[26:28]more Pious and a better worshipper than IM ja this is the
[26:33]leader of the uh the Maliki school of thought and then of
[26:36]course you have shaf who did not live during the time of
[26:40]the Imam and Ahmed who did not live during the time of
[26:44]the Imam but they were all influenced and they were all impacted
[26:47]through their teachers and they benefited from the Imam so IM sad
[26:53]was able to unite people because of knowledge this is one and
[26:57]this is a very important important feature and in Islam knowledge is
[27:04]Holy and knowledge is sacred and every person male female young old
[27:08]whatever you are you have a religious duty to seek knowledge because
[27:12]through knowledge you will find God through knowledge you will reach your
[27:16]lord and you will have conviction in your faith and in your
[27:19]belief so this is one second at the same time that the
[27:27]Imam was spreading knowledge the Imam was disciplining his students IM sad
[27:33]had over 4,000 students one of the narrators he says I entered
[27:36]into M kufa and I saw 4,000 students they're sitting in circles
[27:44]and each one you you pass by them he says I hear
[27:50]them saying Muhammad I heard ja Muhammad I heard ja Muhammad they
[27:54]were all benefiting from IM Sadam IM sad didn't just teach them
[27:59]because today you go to a university you go to school your
[28:05]teacher might probably teach you the best Sciences your teacher might be
[28:09]the smartest person but maybe this teacher has zero AK zero morality
[28:13]zero etiquette zero ethics right this happens all the time maybe this
[28:21]person's a genius they'll get you to probably land a job that
[28:26]g gets you millions of dollars but you'll lose your You'll Lose
[28:30]Yourself you'll lose your your ethics and your morality it's gone because
[28:34]you spent time with this person and this is also very important
[28:38]when we seek knowledge we have to make sure that we seek
[28:40]it from a person that gives it from a good source just
[28:44]like when you want to drink water do you go and you
[28:45]drink dirty water filthy water no you go and you drink water
[28:50]that is pure because it needs to come from a pure heart
[28:54]he would discipline his students he would teach them he would teach
[28:59]them worship he would teach them the importance of connecting with God
[29:02]because at the end of the day no matter what you have
[29:07]in this dunia you end up losing it whatever you have bring
[29:11]someone all the wealth in the world if they tell you I'll
[29:17]give you $100 million but you're not going to wake up tomorrow
[29:19]is that going to be valuable has no value it's nothing IM
[29:27]taught people the value of life and the value of making and
[29:33]taking care of certain things in your life certain decisions in life
[29:36]that will land you in Jenna maybe someone could teach you a
[29:41]way to become a millionaire but it's not going to land you
[29:45]in Jenna but if you land in Jenna even if you did
[29:48]not make the millions in this life Landing in Jenna is is
[29:52]the greatest reward Imad this is how he disciplined his students this
[29:56]is how he taught his students and he would discipline them and
[30:03]teach them the and he was the prime example and the prime
[30:05]role model and the Imam one thing that he did is he
[30:10]would teach his students to have Unity with other Muslims we were
[30:13]talking about the importance of creating balance in your life while you
[30:17]uphold your identity you have to also sanctify and and focus on
[30:23]creating Unity with other Muslims IM sad he tells his students one
[30:26]of his students by the name of Z he says the IM
[30:32]he says him he says pray in the mosques of others and
[30:43]visit their sick and attend their janaza their funerals and if you're
[30:52]able to be the IM or the then you do that don't
[30:57]let people come and say oh look at this sh they're marginalized
[30:58]they're they're away from the community they're away they're detached from society
[31:04]no IM sad says I want my Shia to be individuals who
[31:10]have a role in their Community this is how the Imam disciplines
[31:15]his students and teaches them and yes now someone might ask how
[31:20]can you uphold your beliefs always because sometimes your beliefs are going
[31:25]to be at odds with what other people are doing with what
[31:30]other people are practicing how do you reconcile between where you have
[31:36]where it's at odds and where you can be free to spread
[31:40]your faith the Imam here he taught his students and all of
[31:48]the imams of the they practi this thing called this concept called
[31:54]what is is when sometimes s not always in order to preserve
[32:01]your life and in order to preserve your faith and your belief
[32:06]and your and your own life you're living sometimes you hide and
[32:11]you do not disclose everything you don't show everything to people because
[32:17]certain people who are your enemies they're going to attack you and
[32:20]harm you because of your faith and because of your beliefs and
[32:23]this was something that was practiced byar y one of the Sahar
[32:29]Y is he labeled as a sh no he was a Muslim
[32:30]during the time of the Prophet y when he was when they
[32:36]were in Mecca the the tribe of qur they killed his father
[32:41]the first sh in Islam the first Martyrs in Islam Y and
[32:43]they were ready to kill him they tell him you have to
[32:49]accept the idol you have to accept the idol hubel so what
[32:51]does do Amar he says I accept the idol they they they
[32:56]keep him alive they don't kill him then he goes to and
[32:58]he's crying and he says I mentioned the name of the idol
[33:04]when I don't really believe in the idol then this verse came
[33:09]down meaning God is not going to hold you accountable for something
[33:14]that is not in your heart you were forced to say that
[33:18]the Imam he in order to continue the the and protect the
[33:27]Shia during his era and during his time and for eras for
[33:30]generations to come the IMs they encouraged people to practice the sometimes
[33:36]you have to hide your belief in order to be in order
[33:41]to preserve yourself now today we see some people they attack they
[33:45]say look how look at how insincere the Shia are they lie
[33:48]and they hide their beliefs and to in order to assimilate themselves
[33:54]within community and within society and the reply to this is that
[33:58]no we're not hiding our beliefs with people who don't want to
[34:00]kill us we're hiding our beliefs with someone who wants to kill
[34:05]me for my belief yes I'm supposed to I'm supposed to preserve
[34:08]my life because preserving the life is more important but if someone
[34:11]is being accepting and tolerant with me then no I'm not required
[34:16]to hide my beliefs and do any of that so this is
[34:17]how the Imam one of the ways because the imams all of
[34:22]the imams they lived throughout a time where they were persecuted and
[34:26]it was illegal to declare your faith it was illegal illegal to
[34:31]say I believe in Imad as an IM or the others as
[34:34]IMS but the IM he was able to continue the lives and
[34:40]the well-being of the Shia community Through the practice of another thing
[34:47]that the Imam did which shows that he was very smart in
[34:53]and preserving his community and preserving his his name is that the
[34:59]IM am was not reactionary today some of us were reactionary we
[35:03]hear of a politician he comes out or she comes out and
[35:08]they say a few good words a few talking points and we
[35:10]go and we run after this person and we clap for this
[35:14]person this how this how some of us are the IM there
[35:16]were some politicians disguised as noble men during his life some of
[35:22]them were his own relatives there were two groups that revolted against
[35:28]Bena or against Ben abas one was the children of IM Hassan
[35:34]from the descendants of IM Hassan they revolted meaning cousins with the
[35:38]Imam Imam sad is from the descendants of IM Hussein and you
[35:42]have the descendants of IM Hassan they revolted they wanted to take
[35:46]power the Imam he tells them I'm not going to join this
[35:48]movement they tell him why you become the leader of this movement
[35:53]we'll support you he says no I read in the book of
[35:55]Ali or in the book of FAA that the children children of
[35:59]IM Hassan are not going to rule meaning this is knowledge that
[36:01]we have and then the sons of Al abas the uncle of
[36:06]the Prophet they revolted and they offered the Imam to take leader
[36:09]to be the leader the Imam he says no you are not
[36:13]my people and the Zaman is not my Zaman meaning there is
[36:19]going to come a time for righteousness to rise and that is
[36:24]under the rule of our IM Al and he was very careful
[36:35]not to join and show support to a movement they came to
[36:41]power their slogan was we want to bring satisfaction to the family
[36:45]of the Prophet but IM sad was not reactionary he did not
[36:49]fall for that and as soon as Ben Abbas came to power
[36:54]they began to kill they began to persecute the first day or
[36:59]as soon as Ben Abbas came to power the grandson of Abdullah
[37:02]Abbas Abdullah Abbas we always narrate from him he was the cousin
[37:10]of the Prophet dab Ali abdah Abbas he was appointed by ass
[37:14]saf the first governor of the the first cff of the abbis
[37:17]to be the governor of Medina dab Ali abdah abas he arrested
[37:22]one of the noble and closest companions to IM sad m he
[37:29]arrested him and he asked him he tells him tell me who
[37:35]are the sh of this man he says if I had them
[37:39]under my feet their names I would not move my foot he
[37:41]went and he killed that man as soon as he comes to
[37:47]power he killed IM he found out in his spot he did
[37:49]Dua against d da did not wake up the next day da
[37:54]died because of the Dua of the Imam but you see that
[38:01]the Imam that freedom that he had because he gained Freedom while
[38:04]bani Oma were losing power and Ben Abbas were gaining power there
[38:08]was that window of opportunity where the Imam was able to teach
[38:11]people was able to educate people once Ben Abbas came to power
[38:16]they had a firm grip on power that freedom was gone now
[38:19]the house of Imam sad is always under supervision now the IM
[38:24]has no Freedom there are spies looking at him and watching everything
[38:29]that he does and they began to persecute him after Assa the
[38:34]first Abbasi kale came al- Mansour al- Mansour he's the man who's
[38:39]responsible for building Bagdad they say Bagdad was built by Mansour Abbasi
[38:45]and you see a statue of him in Bagdad even now when
[38:48]you go this man Mansour he had insecurity just like all of
[38:53]the other calebs they had insecurity because they see IM sad he's
[38:57]the one who has the knowledge he's the one who has the
[38:58]fame he's the one who has the recognition he's the one who's
[39:02]loved he's the grandson of the prophet he has the attention if
[39:06]they become jealous one of the narrators he says he's this man
[39:09]he was one of the ministers in the government of al- Mansour
[39:15]he says Mansour he swore he told me they were passing by
[39:18]Medina he was going to perform Hajj he was passing by Medina
[39:23]he says I swear I swear I swear I'm going to kill
[39:25]ja ja Muhammad he swore he who's going to stop him he's
[39:33]the one who's he's he's so powerful he has all the power
[39:35]in the world he says go and bring him to me and
[39:40]I want you he tells this Minister he tells him I want
[39:44]you to go and bring ja to Mead he was in his
[39:46]60s at that time he was older he tells him I want
[39:50]you to drag him to me I don't want you to just
[39:54]bring him to me in any way I want you to drag
[39:57]him this man he says I went and I tell him and
[40:01]man he's summon summoning you he says IM sad told me let's
[40:04]go I will follow your whatever you say he says the Imam
[40:09]began to walk he said I told him I'm sorry but he
[40:13]told me that I have to drag you to his home I
[40:14]have to drag you to the Palace he says I grabbed the
[40:18]Imam by his shirt and I began to pull on him imagine
[40:22]this is the grandson of the Prophet a leader a teacher in
[40:25]the umah he says I began to drag him until we reached
[40:31]we reached al- mansur and he had a sword in his hand
[40:33]and he was ready to kill the Imam he says as soon
[40:39]as we got there as we were going he said I heard
[40:43]the Imam his his lips are moving he's he's reading something he's
[40:46]reading something I didn't I can't make up what he's reading he
[40:49]said as soon as the Imam entered the Imam kept reading reading
[40:52]reading until suddenly Al mans his attitude changed he saw the IM
[41:00]he smiled he brought him he sat him next to him what
[41:04]do you need what can I do for you how can I
[41:06]help you the Imam tells him I want to go back to
[41:07]my family he gives him some gifts and he sends him back
[41:11]back to his family he says I followed the IM I tell
[41:16]him I swear to God he was going to kill you he
[41:17]was ready to kill you he had the sword ready and he
[41:21]kept swearing he's going to kill you what were you reading what
[41:28]were you saying he says when I saw the sh when I
[41:31]saw the evil that was coming I began to recite this he
[42:03]says I Seek You God meaning there are many that claim to
[42:10]be Lords but who is the real Lord that is Allah subhana
[42:18]wa tala there are many that claim to be creators but there's
[42:24]only one real Creator I seek I seek refuge in him there
[42:30]are many who are meaning they receive R from Allah but there
[42:36]is one that gives the r i seek I seek refuge in
[42:42]him and then he says I I only my only helper at
[42:48]this moment is God and Allah subhana ta'ala has promised that if
[42:52]you sincerely have faith in God and you don't turn to anyone
[42:55]else Allah subhana tala will be there for you this was the
[43:01]IM IM we have just a few minutes left he also taught
[43:10]his family and he taught his companions to be patient in order
[43:15]to be a leader in order to achieve things in your life
[43:21]you need to have patience one day the companions of IM ja
[43:25]they went to visit him and the Imam had a sick son
[43:30]a sick child in the house and the Imam Alam would keep
[43:35]getting up and going in and going in and out he would
[43:37]go inside to check up on the child and then he would
[43:41]come where his companions are sitting and the Imam looked Restless they
[43:45]asked him what's wrong he said my SI my son is sick
[43:49]and I keep going back and forth to be there for my
[43:51]son they say suddenly they saw the Imam he came and he
[43:56]sat and he he looked calm now they asked him what happened
[44:00]a while later he looked calm they asked him what happened he
[44:03]tells them my son passed away they tell him how you look
[44:09]so calm and you're saying my son passed away he said when
[44:12]I was Restless matters he that my son was still he was
[44:18]alive so I had a duty as a father to do what
[44:21]I can to preserve his life but now that he's gone I
[44:24]surrendered my will I surrendered my matters to Allah subh and I
[44:28]know that he has gone to a better place and when we
[44:32]surrender to Allah subhana wa ta'ala then what do we have to
[44:34]lose we're turning to Allah Allah is the most generous Allah is
[44:39]the most merciful Allah is the most compassionate this is a great
[44:44]lesson of patience that we learn from the Imam where Allah says
[44:47]in the Quran and give glad bad Tidings to those who when
[44:59]they're Afflicted with a MBA they surrender to God and they say
[45:04]we belong to Allah and we are going to return to Allah
[45:07]subhanahu wa'ta'ala this was the IM and the IM kept enduring and
[45:15]enduring one day the khif he asked him al man he tells
[45:16]him why don't you come and visit us he tells him you
[45:20]don't have anything for me to come and visit you and I
[45:24]don't want anything from you he says come and visit us and
[45:26]give us advice the Imam says who wants this D does not
[45:30]spend it with you and he who wants the does not spend
[45:32]time with you Al kept persecuting the Imam until one day the
[45:40]narration says that they threw Fire In The House of the Imam
[45:43]the Imam was in his home and they threw the fire inside
[45:49]the house of the Imam and the Imam he began to take
[45:54]his children out of the house he began to carry them and
[45:57]he began to Walk Through The Fire And The Companions they were
[46:00]shocked they see him walking through the fire and as he's walking
[46:05]through the fire he says I am the grandson of ibraim who
[46:16]was thrown in the fire after the fire was extinguished they saw
[46:21]the Imam he goes and he sits in front of the house
[46:27]where the fire was lit in a walkway pathway a he sat
[46:32]and the Imam sat and he began to cry his companions they
[46:36]tell him why are you crying is it your items that were
[46:38]burned we will replace them for you we will help you whatever
[46:44]you need the Imam he says no I cry because when they
[46:50]set the house on fire I remembered IM Hussein my grandfather and
[46:55]how the woman and the children of ab abdah they had to
[46:57]run through the burning tents on the day of Ash and this
[47:02]is what made me cry when I remembered what happened to my
[47:05]grandfather abdah Hussein IM he lived until 68 years old Al mans
[47:16]ABI he sent the poison to the IM and the IM he
[47:22]passed away in his home in Medina and he was buried by
[47:27]his son Imam IM he was buried in Madina we ask Allah
[47:38]to grant us his and his and we also once again ask
[47:43]you all to recite for the late who who passed away a
