[0:09][Music] sh [Music] [Music] while [Music] my dear brothers and sisters I
[1:25]begin by congratulating you all on the auspicious month of Ramadan the
[1:31]holy month of blessings and mercy and forgiveness and the month in
[1:39]which the Gates of Heaven are open and Allah's Mercy Pours Down
[1:44]on all of us and we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to
[1:51]accept us and accept our Deeds during this holy month and make
[1:56]this month be a month that is Mubarak upon all of us
[2:03]one of the ways that we greet each other during the month
[2:08]of Ramadan we sayah [Music] Ramadan what is Baraka and what is
[2:19]muak what does it mean when you wish someone muak Ramadan mub
[2:25]we see this word Mubarak it is used frequently in the Quran
[2:31]sometimes it is used talking about individuals like Prophet is sometimes it
[2:55]is used to talk about a place a location talking about and
[3:08]the it's a place that is muak another place that is considered
[3:18]to be mu and blessed is Al Jerusalem and the area around
[3:22]it Allah subhah wa taala says in the Quran the place that
[3:37]we put around on the night of power sometimes it's a night
[3:42]it's a Time Allah subhanahu waala says in the Quran the night
[3:50]of is a night that is Allah subhana talks about the Quran
[3:55]the Quran itself it is Allah says [Music] so tonight we want
[4:05]to talk about the meaning of bar what does it mean and
[4:11]second how can we increase our Baraka the Baraka in our lives
[4:18]and third how can we benefit and make this holy month be
[4:22]a month that is Mubarak upon all of us first of all
[4:26]what does it mean to say Baraka Barak means something that lasts
[4:35]something that remains that stays for a very long time the benefit
[4:39]from that remains for a very long time or something that stays
[4:45]this is why the Arabs when a camel would sit down they
[4:52]used to say theel the Camel had sat down and when a
[4:56]camel sits down it takes forever to get up so it stays
[5:01]for a very long time or they call a container of water
[5:07]a place where water water is gathered they say a place where
[5:12]water has remained a place where water has gathered so the religious
[5:16]meaning of it is anything that Allah subhanahu wa taala has put
[5:23]the Baraka in anything that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala allows to remain
[5:29]and last for a very long time so the benefit from that
[5:32]it lasts for a very long time and here when we talk
[5:40]about Baraka of course it means Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is the
[5:43]one that has put the blessings in something that Allah allows it
[5:48]to be a source of blessing be something that lasts for a
[5:55]very long time and here we have to keep in mind Baraka
[5:58]does not necessarily mean abundance meaning quantity meaning for example someone has
[6:05]a lot of money in their bank account but it might not
[6:09]be Mubarak you know some people they make money but they lose
[6:11]money very fast as well it might not be Mubarak and then
[6:16]on the other hand you find another group another person they might
[6:21]not make very much money but this money it goes a very
[6:26]long way this money you get your the bank for your buck
[6:30]as they say that means you get every cent to the dollar
[6:33]you actually benefit from it you see sometimes a person's time is
[6:37]muak two people they both live the same number of years they
[6:44]both live for 40 years 50 years one person they are so
[6:48]productive they are able to achieve so much they are able to
[6:54]please Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala they're able to fulfill their responsibilities to their
[6:57]family to their work to their Community to everyone around them and
[7:03]you find another person who is the same age they spend their
[7:07]whole life scrolling on Tik Tok this is it two people same
[7:12]age one of them becomes very blessed one of them is very
[7:15]productive and the other is not productive this is what Baraka is
[7:21]Allah subhanahu wa taala has placed Baraka in a person's time and
[7:25]another person does not have that Baraka in their time Allah subhah
[7:28]wa taala could place Baraka in your wealth and other people they
[7:33]see money comes but it goes and it does not you don't
[7:35]enjoy it you don't get to benefit from it in the way
[7:41]that you would want to similarly food food sometimes food could have
[7:47]Baraka in they say that this is mentioned in and this is
[7:50]not only what say that Muslims they used to come and they
[7:57]used to bring their pot of food to Al and the holy
[8:01]prophet he would place a little bit of his saliva his blessed
[8:04]saliva he would place it in the pot and they would go
[8:11]and they would cook and as a result of the Bara of
[8:16]the food would be enough for everyone and there were many cases
[8:23]where it is recorded in history in Sunni and Shia history they
[8:27]all record this that many instances people would come there is one
[8:30]plate of food that has ate from and the whole Muslim Community
[8:35]would be able to eat from that same pot they would be
[8:37]able to eat from that same dish this is how Allah subhana
[8:43]wa tala places Baraka in something in one Hadith the Hadith says
[8:47]look at some of the animals that are eaten the most for
[8:55]example chicken they're eating more the Sheep it is eating more but
[8:58]you see do you ever run out of sheep or chicken they're
[9:00]slaughtered by the thousands they're killed by the hundreds of thousands and
[9:05]millions yet you see that which animals are going extinct the lion
[9:13]goes extinct the the Tiger goes extinct these lions that they are
[9:17]the ones who are on top of the food chain they go
[9:20]extinct but an animal like a like a sheep or a chicken
[9:22]does not go extinct this is what Baraka is Allah subhana tala
[9:28]places Baraka in certain things now how do we my dear brothers
[9:35]and sisters increase our Baraka how do we make our time more
[9:40]meaningful how do we make our wealth more beneficial to us how
[9:46]do we make our risk and our sustenance around us a type
[9:53]of sustenance that we benefit from that we enjoy we don't want
[9:56]just quantity we don't want just having a lot but we don't
[9:59]enjoy it that's not Baraka that's not enjoying it you want to
[10:04]be able to benefit from your health and from your health and
[10:07]from your time and everything that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has given
[10:11]you first my dear brothers and sisters we have to keep in
[10:19]mind that there's a correlation between Baraka and between obeying Allah subhanahu
[10:26]wa ta'ala when you obey God when Allah has pleased pleased with
[10:31]you when Allah is satisfied with you Allah subhanahu wa taala will
[10:35]put a blessing in your life Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will bless
[10:42]your dollar where your dollar is going to be worth more than
[10:45]$100 of someone who does not obey Allah subhah wa tala Allah
[10:51]will put that blessing this is the risk RK comes from Allah
[10:54]subhana wa taala Allah says in the Quran your job is not
[11:03]to worry about your risk and your sustenance and your food your
[11:06]job is to worry about this is your purpose in life worry
[11:13]about pleasing Allah subana wa tala and everything else will come from
[11:20]Allah subhana wa tala so Allah is the one who places the
[11:22]Baraka in our lives and there's a correlation between obeying Allah subhanahu
[11:28]wa ta'ala and Allah increasing the blessing in our lives Allah says
[11:34]in the Quran if the people of the villages Allah talks about
[11:45]these communities that were punished Allah says if they had believed and
[11:57]had we would have opened the blessings from the heavens and from
[12:03]the earth [Music] however however as a result of their lies as
[12:12]a result of their breaking the Covenant with Allah subhah wa ta'ala
[12:16]they ended up losing on the Baraka and the blessings that Allah
[12:22]subhah wa taala is giving them this is why if we want
[12:25]Allah to increase our Baraka in our lives if we want Our
[12:30]Lives to be more meaningful if we want our lives to be
[12:33]more happy more pleasant we have no choice other than to turn
[12:40]to Allah subhah wa tala prophet he tells his people do Allah
[12:51]will forgive you he will bring from the heavens he will bring
[12:59]grain that is a blessing and he will give you wealth and
[13:12]he will give you children a man came to imass and he
[13:20]tells the IM I have been married for many years and I
[13:25]don't have children I want to have children I want that Baraka
[13:28]I want that blessing the IM tells him do he tells him
[13:36]say 700 times within a 24-hour period is that something difficult no
[13:46]700 times within a full day the man he says I started
[13:49]doing this and I had many children so he said many year
[13:57]years later he saw muaah and he told muaah I saw imass
[14:00]and he told me to do this say and as a result
[14:04]of this now I have many children tells him did you not
[14:09]ask him where did he get this from where did he get
[14:11]this from you say and then you have children he says I
[14:15]kept it in my mind to ask the Imam I go to
[14:19]the Hajj and I see the Imam and I tell him where
[14:22]did this come from he says the Imam told me this verse
[14:33]he will give you wealth and he will give you children so
[14:37]you do something as simple as repenting to Allah subhanahu wa taala
[14:42]from the daily sins from the daily shortcomings that we have and
[14:48]as a result of that Allah will put Bara in your life
[14:51]and my dear brothers and sisters someone might come and say but
[14:56]now look at the Muslims look look at there are some Believers
[15:01]there are some Muslims they pray they fast they go to Hajj
[15:04]they do everything that they're supposed to do and look at how
[15:09]miserable they are and you see some of the Ku you see
[15:10]some of the non-believers they don't even acknowledge God and Allah keeps
[15:14]giving them and giving them and giving them is this Baraka that
[15:19]Allah is giving them the answer is no this is the difference
[15:22]between having abundance having a lot versus having something that is Meaningful
[15:28]and something that will bring you true satisfaction Allah subhah wa tala
[15:45]says Allah and this this verse was recited by Z to yazid
[15:51]she tells him don't think just because you have something right now
[15:56]that Allah subhah wa ta'ala is blessing you that Allah subh is
[16:00]favoring you sometimes Allah subhanahu wa taala might give someone to tou
[16:06]them sometimes Allah subhah wa taala might give someone because Allah knows
[16:11]that this person is not going to get closer to Allah subhana
[16:18]wa tala and Allah says this person is not worthy of my
[16:26][Music] Allah says when we want to punish a community Allah is
[16:37]not just going to punish them for no reason they have to
[16:39]do something wrong so one of the ways Allah subhana wa ta'ala
[16:45]tests them by giving them giving them giving them they fell as
[16:48]a result of having so much they think that God is blessing
[16:53]them they end up losing the test with Allah then they will
[16:55]be deserving of the punishment of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala so my
[17:00]dear brothers and sisters we have to keep in mind Baraka is
[17:05]not necessarily translated into material sometimes Baraka is a mindset sometimes Barak
[17:14]and wealth it's a mindset it's a it's a lifestyle of living
[17:20]an approach towards life and Allah subhana talks about he says I
[17:27]am abdah I am the slave of God he doesn't he doesn't
[17:32]say I'm God or the Son of God he gave me the
[17:39]book and he made me a prophet and he made me a
[17:49]blessing wherever I am look at the life of isaam was Isa
[17:54]wealthy was Jesus did he have a house did he have a
[18:01]fancy car no is he says himself he says my blanket is
[18:04]the sky and the ground is my mattress and the food that
[18:12]I eat is the food from the ground that I share with
[18:18]the animals and my warmth is the sun in the winter and
[18:21]then he says and I sleep and I don't own anything and
[18:27]when I wake up I don't own anything and then he says
[18:33]however there's not a single person on earth that is wealthier than
[18:38]me so Nowa who Allah says and I am wherever I am
[18:49]did Isa have this worldly material NOA was muak because of his
[18:56]lifestyle was muak because of the choices that he made was because
[19:04]God was pleased with him you want blessings in your life make
[19:07]sure first and foremost that Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala is pleased with you
[19:13]and if you do that then you will be a source of
[19:17]blessing for others then you will be a blessing how was Jesus
[19:29]muak was mu because he was a source of blessing in the
[19:36]lives of others people saw him as a blessing you want to
[19:42]be a blessing you want to be muak be a person that
[19:45]is productive be a person that gives back to the community be
[19:50]a person that when people look at and they say their name
[19:52]and they remember they only have good memories with you this is
[19:59]how isaam was otherwise Isa he lived a very simple a very
[20:02]humble life he didn't even have a house he didn't even have
[20:07]a vehicle to transport he used to tr walk with the he
[20:11]didn't even have anything but isaam Allah describes him as Mubarak why
[20:16]because he was a source of blessing in the lives of others
[20:21]and this is one of the greatest ways where we could become
[20:24]mu in our lives look at the look at all of the
[20:30]prophets they would go out and they would feed people and they
[20:33]would help people and they would support people and this is what
[20:38]made them a source of blessing this is what made them muak
[20:41]today I have to ask myself am I a productive person in
[20:47]my community am I giving back to my community some of us
[20:50]we just take take take take take and we're not ready to
[20:53]give a person who wants to move on who wants to elevate
[20:59]to the step of becoming muak this person has to be willing
[21:06]to give back one we have a relationship with Allah subhah wa
[21:14]tala you want to be Mubarak you have to have a healthy
[21:18]line of communication with God if our Wi-Fi disconnects what are we
[21:22]going to do if it disconnects for half an hour you see
[21:26]the whole world would go upside down imagine some people who go
[21:35]days and weeks and months without one Salah without one conversation with
[21:41]Allah subhah wa ta'ala how empty is this person going to be
[21:45]this person will be very poor poor in that they don't have
[21:52]that connection with Allah subhanahu wa taala he did not have anything
[21:57]from this D yet he was mu because he had a straight
[22:00]line of communication with Allah subhana [Music] tala and to give zakat
[22:11]to give the month of Ramadan my dear brothers and sisters it
[22:15]is the month of zakat this is why on the day of
[22:20]before you go to Salah what do you have to do you
[22:25]have to go and give always the Quran talks about Salah and
[22:32]then Z on the day of we recite the Surah you have
[22:39]to give zakat first and then you go and you pray the
[22:43]month of Ramadan is the month of giving the month of Ramadan
[22:45]is a month of zakat and the Hadith multiple Hadith and verses
[22:51]in the Quran tell us that you want to increase your wealth
[22:58]you do a business transaction not with people but you do it
[23:05]with Allah subhana wa ta'ala let Allah be your partner in the
[23:08]business and Allah subhanahu wa taala will multiply your blessings in your
[23:13]life and Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will continue to give you and
[23:18]Allah says in the Quran anytime you give zakat Allah will give
[23:27]it back multiple times more and this is the meaning of Baraka
[23:32]this is the meaning of having wealth that is blessed having time
[23:37]that is blessed having food that is blessed when it a share
[23:41]of it is given in the way of Allah subhanal in a
[23:48]beautiful story narrated by IM [Music] inabi is one of the most
[24:01]important books of for the school of the the author is he
[24:04]lived during in this Hadith IM he says there was a man
[24:14]from B is from the Israelites this man he had no luck
[24:22]you know there are some people they go and they do business
[24:24]here they do business there they try to make money doesn't work
[24:27]out some people this is how Allah tests them and don't think
[24:33]that if someone if Allah doesn't like you then Allah throws poverty
[24:38]on you maybe Allah subhah wa ta'ala will throw risk on someone
[24:42]maybe Allah will throw poverty on someone this these are all different
[24:46]ways that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala tests people this man one day
[24:53]IM sad he says he says one day his wife she comes
[24:58]and she tells him we don't have any food there's nothing he
[25:01]tells her there's nothing she tells him yes there's nothing so I
[25:07]went and I knitted she she did something she was knitting she
[25:09]made a shirt or something and she tells him go to the
[25:12]market and see what you could bring back with this we need
[25:18]to eat something so he goes he takes that which his wife
[25:21]made and he goes to the market he sees the market is
[25:24]closed he goes to the fish market he sees the fish market
[25:30]he sees that there is a fisherman and he has all of
[25:36]the fish they're gone there's no more fish that day there's one
[25:40]fisherman he has a old fish that looks very rotten and no
[25:48]one wanted to buy it it's the only last remaining fish but
[25:51]it's the only option that he has he goes and he makes
[25:55]the trade with the man he gives him that which his wife
[25:58]had made and he takes this old rotting fish and he goes
[26:01]home he goes home his wife tells him this is what you
[26:08]brought for us you went out this whole time and this is
[26:11]what you brought for us tells her this is all that I
[26:13]found see what you could do with it she goes and she
[26:20]opens the fish she opens it and she finds two pearls in
[26:23]there two pearls are in the stomach of the fish so she
[26:29]comes to him and she tells him look what we found so
[26:33]he goes and he sells the Hadith continues it says he goes
[26:35]and he sells these pearls each one for 20,000 Dirhams so now
[26:43]he comes back he has two bags each bag has 20,000 Dirhams
[26:50]and he comes and he sits down as soon as he sits
[26:53]down someone comes and knocks on the door this is when the
[26:59]test comes from Allah subhana wa tala someone comes and knocks on
[27:04]the door he opens the door and he tells him I'm a
[27:07]I'm a poor person give me from that which Allah has given
[27:13]you imagine your whole life you're suffering your whole life you don't
[27:19]have suddenly you have and someone comes and asks you this man
[27:24]he thought for a second and then he tells the man at
[27:30]the door he tells him you see those two bags go and
[27:32]take one of them go and take one of the bags the
[27:36]poor person takes one of the bags and leaves his wife she
[27:41]comes and she tells him you gave away half of our wealth
[27:43]you gave away half of our wealth our whole life we were
[27:49]suffering now you came and you just easily gave it away he
[27:50]tells her the one who gave us is still around and that
[27:56]is Allah subhah wa tala don't lose faith in subhana wa ta'ala
[27:59]the one who gave the wealth Let It Go the one who
[28:04]gives the wealth the r is still with us that man goes
[28:10]they're sitting the door is knocked again don't worry it's good news
[28:17]he knocks again and he sees the same person came once again
[28:24]and the person comes and he says I'm an angel Allah sent
[28:31]me to test you to see are you going to be thankful
[28:36]or are you going to be ungrateful Allah saw that you're a
[28:41]thankful servant here's your original bag you could take it and enjoy
[28:47]your life he gave him back his RK he gave him back
[28:48]that which Allah subhah wa ta'ala has given him this my dear
[28:54]brothers and sisters is an example of Baraka sometimes in ways that
[28:59]we don't realize in ways that we can't even imagine Allah subhah
[29:02]wa ta'ala blesses our lives and this should always be something on
[29:11]our mind my job and my duty is to obey Allah subhana
[29:13]wa taala Allah sub says in the [Music] Quran the reason why
[29:23]I created you is to worship I don't want R from you
[29:31]and I don't want food from you comes from Allah some of
[29:39]us we push away we delay our responsibilities towards God because we're
[29:44]chasing risk because we're chasing Baraka we're chasing blessings in our life
[29:49]Allah says that's not your job I will send you that I
[29:51]have created you I'm the one who's going to give you I'm
[29:55]the one who's never left you I'm going to continue giving you
[29:57]your job job is to do that which is obligatory upon you
[30:03]you do your job and I will do my job but some
[30:07]of us we get our priorities mixed up we start thinking that
[30:09]R is in our hands and then we start delaying our obligations
[30:13]towards Allah subana tala our obligations towards our community our obligations towards
[30:18]our family and as a result we end up losing both so
[30:26]he says you pray you will have you will be you will
[30:37]be by [Music] giving one of the ways one of the ways
[30:52]that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will bless your life and Allah subhanahu
[30:58]will give you this Dunya and the afterlife is by what by
[31:08]taking care of your parents by being there for them by supporting
[31:16]them by seeing what they need this is one of our obligations
[31:18]Allah subhana wa ta'ala keeps repeating this in the Quran Allah keeps
[31:25]repeating Allah has decreed that you don't worship anyone other than God
[31:35]and you take care of your parents this comes immediately after is
[31:40]the most important message of all of the prophets immediately after it
[31:46]comes and this is an obligation and if you do this Allah
[31:54]subhanahu waa will bless your lives Allah says in the Quran in
[32:07]the Quran nowhere in the Quran does Allah subhah wa ta'ala tells
[32:12]you to humiliate yourself Allah wants the mmin to be dignified Allah
[32:18]wants the mmin to be honored but for your parents Allah says
[32:24]lower your wings of humility for your parents meaning it's okay if
[32:31]your parents are bossing you around it's okay if your parents tell
[32:34]you go do this and go do that it's okay if you
[32:37]go out of your way for the sake of your parents because
[32:40]this is what isan is going out of your way to be
[32:47]at the service of your parents and if you do this Allah
[32:50]subhanahu wa'ta'ala will bless your life in a way that you have
[32:52]never imagined there are many stories about this there are many stories
[33:02]about this in one Hadith the Hadith says if you want Allah
[33:09]to prolong your life put in your life and you want your
[33:15]risk to increase then you have to make sure that you are
[33:25]you have to make sure that your parents are pleased with you
[33:30]and you are connected meaning you connected to your family and never
[33:39]disconnected from any of your family members because that is something that
[33:43]is Haram that is something that will remove all of the and
[33:48]all of the and all of the in a person's life and
[33:53]if you want Allah subhah wa ta'ala to put Baraka in your
[33:56]life if you want Allah to bless your actions and your days
[34:01]and your nights and everything that you do then be from those
[34:04]who have a strong healthy connection with God and a strong healthy
[34:08]connection with your parents and your family and if you do this
[34:16]Allah will bless you today the first of the month of Ramadan
[34:19]inshallah you all began reciting the Quran inshallah you all began reciting
[34:24]the in it is the story that first is the story of
[34:32]B is where they killed there was a murder and they come
[34:36]to M and they tell him we want to find the solution
[34:38]we want to find out who is the murderer amongst us he
[34:44]tells them Allah is commanding you to slaughter cow they tell him
[34:54]are you joking with us we came we're asking you to solve
[34:57]a murder mystery and you're telling us go and Slaughter a cow
[35:02]tells them this is the will of Allah and they kept asking
[35:04]what kind of a cow this this this that until the Quran
[35:10]became very specific on a very specific type and color and and
[35:14]a cow that is in their Community this is what the story
[35:19]is saying there's a backstory to it the backstory is that there
[35:23]was a young man he has a business and he has a
[35:28]business opportunity to make a lot of of money he goes and
[35:31]he's ready to make a business transaction but he sees that the
[35:35]key is with his father and his father is sleeping his father
[35:40]is sleeping he goes he sees his father sleeping should I make
[35:43]the money or should I keep my father rested should I keep
[35:48]my father sleeping he thinks for a second and he says you
[35:51]know what my father sleep is worth more than the money my
[35:57]father's rest is worth more than the money and that's it that
[35:59]was a story that happened and it went away his father wakes
[36:04]up and his mother wake up and his father finds out he
[36:08]gives him a cow he gives him a cow and this whole
[36:13]story of B is it leads them to that very cow that
[36:19]his father had given him they come and they want to buy
[36:21]it from him his mother says keep raising the price up raise
[36:25]the price they rais the price more and more and more on
[36:28]until she tells him fill the skin of the cow with gold
[36:34]fill it with gold until you sell it that man became wealthy
[36:37]as a result of his actions as a result of his and
[36:43]this is the meaning of Baraka this is in the D and
[36:49]in the Allah subhanahu waala will make the person who has that
[36:53]Allah subhah waala will give the bar in the afterlife another story
[36:59]and we will conclude inshallah Prophet mam he asks Allah subhanahu wa
[37:10]ta'ala he tells him tell me who is my neighbor in Paradise
[37:13]who is going to be the neighbor of prophet Musa Allah tells
[37:18]him oh Musa your neighbor is fan this and this person he
[37:22]lives in such and such Village so Prophet mam he goes on
[37:28]a journey to find out who is his neighbor and what could
[37:34]his neighbor be doing what special action is his neighbor doing that
[37:39]earns him the right to be the neighbor of prophet mam in
[37:42]Paradise Prophet Musa who has struggled with and led B is and
[37:50]saved them and he's a prophet he's this person is the neighbor
[37:53]of prophet mam he wanted to see is this person someone who's
[37:57]muah in the way of Allah is this person someone who's praying
[38:01]the midnight prayer is this person someone who's doing something special he
[38:05]goes and he sees the person he tells him I want to
[38:09]stay with you that person doesn't know this is Prophet Musa he
[38:11]tells him come and stay with me he wants to see what
[38:17]does this person do that is so special that is so unique
[38:19]that earns him the right to be the neighbor of prophet mam
[38:23]he sees at night M he gets up and he starts praying
[38:28]all night this person he's resting he's not praying he sees is
[38:34]this person doing something special during the day no but he watches
[38:38]he sees that the young this man he gets out from his
[38:43]home and he goes into a room next to his house or
[38:47]in his house he goes in a room he stays in that
[38:48]room for a short while and then he leaves and he goes
[38:52]to work he's a butcher he goes to work Prophet Musa tells
[38:56]him wait a second tell me me who's in that room and
[38:58]what did you do in that room the man he tells him
[39:03]my mother is in this room and my mother is ill my
[39:09]mother is paralyzed so I go in the room I wash her
[39:15]I feed her I wash her hair I take care of her
[39:16]and I feed her he says what does your mother say when
[39:22]you are doing this to her he says my mother with every
[39:27]spoon that I put in her mouth mouth to feed her she
[39:29]says oh Allah make my son the neighbor of prophet Musa Prophet
[39:35]Musa tells him I am M and Allah has answered your the
[39:37]Dua of your mother as a result of your as a result
[39:42]of your good deeds you have earned the right to be the
[39:47]neighbor of prophet Mam and this is Baraka my dear brothers and
[39:53]sisters so our message is that we need to redefine what it
[39:59]means to have Baraka in our lives sometimes a simple life without
[40:04]disobeying Allah subh tala fulfilling our obligations towards God our community our
[40:11]family our society being someone who gives back to the community that
[40:16]is a greater Baraka and blessing in your life than other people
[40:20]who might think that for example Allah has blessed them in other
[40:25]ways but they disobey Allah subhana wa tala with this is something
[40:29]that we have to keep in mind and if we have that
[40:34]mentality in mind then our whole life is going to change then
[40:37]our days and our nights and our life and our wealth and
[40:42]our risk and everything that Allah has given us will be a
[40:45]source of blessing for us then we will be someone who's content
[40:51]with Allah subhana wa ta'ala the same way Isa Isa was content
[40:55]Isa did not go after the Dunya Isa was happy with what
[41:01]Allah subhana wa tala has given him because it's all a mindset
[41:04]and we have to ask Allah that this month of Ramadan becomes
[41:11]a Mubarak month for us for us a month that we benefit
[41:14]from a month that we take advantage from where our days and
[41:20]our nights are filled with blessings in Du we say says [Music]
[41:54]ask Allah to give you the to and the blessings that your
[42:00]wealth and your health and your life and your time and everything
[42:04]that Allah subhana wa ta'ala has given you is in obedience to
[42:11]Allah subhah wa ta'ala if we do that then our whole life
[42:13]will be a life of blessings and happiness my dear brothers and
[42:17]sisters we ask that we we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala that
[42:22]he makes us from those who benefit from the holy month of
[42:25]Ramadan there are many opportunities during this month you have Dua you
[42:31]have Dua abali you have the opportunity to recite the Quran you
[42:36]have the opportunity to do you have the opportunity to gather with
[42:40]your community and pray J and attend lectures and benefit if we
[42:46]do all of that then the holy month of Ramadan will be
[42:48]a month of blessings for all of us let us raise our
[42:53]hands in Dua Allah [Music] [Music] [Music] rad for [Music] [Music] [Music]
[44:31]m [Music]
