[15:44]I'd like to take this opportunity to thank on behalf of the

[15:50]jamaat um all of the ladies and the volunteers that have helped

[15:53]to contribute towards the preparation of today today's the Baroque which you

[15:57]can see beautifully presented towards my left over here can I please

[16:01]ask that for the motherhomean of all of those who have contributed

[16:06]to tonight's the Baroque let us please recite one more suratulum good

[16:37]people it was inevitable that I think the kirapuri would be making

[18:49]for it so so for quiz um first question coming up now

[19:01]Imam Imam Jafar is known as Assad who was it that gave

[19:07]him this title was it the holy prophet Imam Ali his father

[19:12]Imam Baker or his mother just a few seconds left three two

[19:26]one fantastic so Imam was he was born on the 17th of

[19:35]in 83 ah um or 702 CE in the city of Medina

[19:42]it was in fact his great grandfather the holy Prophets [Music] who

[19:50]named him this way because he would be the most honest person

[19:55]in his speeches and his talks so um kierpoi straight to the

[20:01]top of the leaderboard okay next question number two what was the

[20:09]name of the mother of Imam what was the name of the

[20:14]mother of our sixth holy Imam people very quick with their answers

[20:23]martial law almost 30 responses just a couple of seconds left so

[20:31]I'll just talk you through so lady Samana was in fact the

[20:39]mother of our tenth holy Imam Imam Imam Imam lady Sabika was

[20:43]the mother of our ninth Imam Imam Jawad Allah was the mother

[20:50]of our seventh Imam and in fact it was um who was

[20:57]the mother of our 60 mum though her name was actually Fatima

[21:01]okay let's see how the leaderboard is after a couple of questions

[21:06]okay I've got a nice a nice lead there for two questions

[21:11]so let's move on to the next question where was Imam born

[21:23][Music] fantastic so majority got that answer correct uh congratulations he was

[21:44]indeed born in Medina we know that his father Imam founded many

[21:48]schools and madaris in the city of Medina in fact the next

[21:55]question relates to an incident that occurred when Imam Sadiq was only

[21:58]11 years old when he entered one of these schools or the

[22:00]madaras of his Noble father in the city of Medina but before

[22:06]that question let's have a look at the the leaderboard okay we

[22:10]need discourse early Hussain West 61 and chai following um but kierpuri

[22:14]is still in the lead with a nice lead of about 800

[22:19]points here's the next question when Imam was only 11 years old

[22:22]Imam said that proved to the other students in the class that

[22:25]the Earth cannot be round because I cannot be flat the Earth

[22:33]cannot be flat because get your answers in quick only a few

[22:39]seconds left well done so again majority got that correct it was

[22:51]in fact because of the way the sun rises in the East

[22:55]and sets in the west and the day and night change within

[22:56]a 24-hour period um it cannot be possible for the earth to

[23:00]be flat with this being the case in fact this story was

[23:04]mentioned in a book compiled by five French Scholars at Straz in

[23:09]Strasbourg in France with the title The Heart of Shia scholarship the

[23:12]book has been translated into Persian Urdu and is being now translated

[23:19]into English as well but just an example of the knowledge of

[23:22]Imam from a very young age of 11 mashallah okay so still

[23:30]our leader is intact but there's a few changes underneath km where

[23:34]six One MK and badamkir um making up the rest of the

[23:40]leaderboard donut is the highest climber on that occasion so the next

[23:46]question was present in karbala on Ashira true or false I hear

[23:52]some Whispers of true and false so let's see what's the answer

[24:06]fantastic so the answer is in fact false we know that Imam

[24:12]psyduck's father our fifth holy Imam was present in karibullah but he

[24:15]was very young at the time um so Imam Sadiq himself was

[24:23]not present in karbala however during his childhood Imam jafra Sadiq was

[24:28]brought up under the guidance of his grandfather Imam Zain al-abidine Imam

[24:33]Sadiq was only 12 years old when his grandfather passed away but

[24:38]during that time when he was brought up under the guardianship of

[24:43]Imam sajjad our fourth Imam as we know was known for his

[24:46]grief and remembrance of the tragic event of karibala and so witnessing

[24:52]this grief and remembrance of his grandfather had a profound effect on

[24:57]our sixth Imam so much so that he felt as if he

[25:02]himself was present during the tragedy he also reflected on the presence

[25:08]of his father Imam who was only around three years old in

[25:12]karbala and as a result of this Imam considered it his duty

[25:18]to arrange various Gatherings or Majoris in commemoration of the sorrowful events

[25:23]of karbala so well done to those 26 that got that question

[25:27]right let's go to the leaderboard okay again so we've got a

[25:33]lead of over 1 000 there which is looking good um and

[25:37]a couple of changes and eight players on a three answer streak

[25:42]there which is nice um okay let's go on to the next

[25:49]question how old was Imam when his grandfather passed away if you're

[25:52]listening there was a clue from what I've already told you fantastic

[26:12]so most of you are listening surprising number weren't but anyway um

[26:20]so the answer was in fact 12 years old so Imam Zain

[26:26]and abedin uh the grandfather of our sex Imam as well as

[26:29]the remembrance of karbala he was also of course well known for

[26:36]his worship uh and for his duas which were in fact a

[26:39]means of tablish um for Imam so Imam said that he used

[26:45]to worship Allah in in exactly the same way as his grandfather

[26:47]often fasting during the daytime and spending his nights in ibada after

[26:52]his grandfather passed away he remained under the guardianship of his father

[26:57]Iman Baker until the age of 31 at a time when politics

[27:04]between the Umayyads and the abbasids was Rife and many turned to

[27:09]Imam and subsequently Imam Sadiq to learn from them through their various

[27:14]schools and universities or madaris so um pay attention because there may

[27:22]be some more hints in what um in in the descriptions between

[27:25]the questions but let's have a look at that leaderboard Okay so

[27:29]we've got a couple of people climbing up badamkir looks like the

[27:35]food items are dominating so far if you have just joined by

[27:38]the way in fact okay we'll go on to the next question

[27:40]so we'll move on so I mentioned the political uh Strife at

[27:46]the time what was the slogan that the abbasids formed in their

[27:51]power struggle against the omeyads what was the slogan that the abbasids

[27:56]took on to give themselves more credibility yes well done um to

[28:10]the 13 who got that correct um so during the last phase

[28:15]of the umayyad rule the abbasids were actively engaged in anti-umayyad activities

[28:22]until they eventually took over power from the Umayyads um interestingly about

[28:28]the abbasids tried to gain the support of people by campaigning in

[28:33]favor of the adult and they pledged that when the umayyad state

[28:38]toppled the khilafa would be returned to the Muslim however as we

[28:43]know the abbasids did not stick to their pledge and through different

[28:48]forms of political maneuvering established themselves on the seat of khilafa and

[28:52]then subsequently showed great great enmity towards the athlete and their followers

[29:00]despite this would never stoop to the level of the political trickery

[29:06]that was being engaged in by the abbasids at the time was

[29:11]known as a Safa and after him was Mansoor Mansoor in particular

[29:20]was known for his persecution of the followers of Salaam and it

[29:26]was during this time that Mansoor gave the Shia the name of

[29:30]the Rafael the rejecters he also coined the term Noel Jamara in

[29:35]order to promote a sect against the followers and during this time

[29:43]anyone who was found to support the aloud bait was arrested imprisoned

[29:50]and killed in particular many of the descendants of Imam Hassan alaihissalam

[29:56]were killed and some of them were even buried alive in the

[29:59]the city walls around the city of Baghdad and even today if

[30:03]you go to Baghdad you can sometimes see on some of the

[30:05]city walls there are inscriptions that read that some of the descendants

[30:09]of Imam Hassan were buried in the building of these walls so

[30:18]let's take a look now at the leaderboard MK up into third

[30:26]place but um still looking tasty at the top of the leaderboard

[30:33]okay so before we go on to the next question um during

[30:37]the time during the life of our sixth Imam many would come

[30:41]to the Imam for true knowledge and he was held in high

[30:46]esteem amongst the people this is why he was given titles such

[30:49]as alphabil the virtuous he was cool to say because he was

[30:54]the best and most knowledgeable of the people of his time not

[30:58]only in religious Affairs but also in various scientific fields so we

[31:03]know that Mansour the Abbasid Khalif would try to bring Scholars from

[31:07]around the Muslim world to compete with the Imam in order to

[31:12]try and undermine him but none of them came even close to

[31:14]matching him in any in any kind of debate so let's move

[31:20]on to the next question and that is how many students did

[31:27]Imam have under him how many students did Imam have under him

[31:49]okay fantastic so majority corrects there good job as as well as

[31:56]the religious Sciences the Imam would also teach students mathematics chemistry medicine

[32:01]and astronomy um the famous Pioneer of physics came a famous Pioneer

[32:09]of physics chemistry and Mathematics was also one of the students of

[32:13]Imam jafra sadik who wrote about 400 treatises based on the instructions

[32:19]of Imam let us now take a look once again at the

[32:23]leaderboard fantastic so the top four stay in place and we've got

[32:35]ah I think in fifth place okay all right let's move on

[32:42]so Imam Sadiq was in fact yeah let's move let's move on

[32:49]to the next question and this is a multi-select so you can

[32:54]select as many ads are applicable Which languages was Imam assadic fluent

[33:00]in Which languages was Imam assadic fluent in if you have just

[33:07]joined by the way you can still log in using kahoot.it and

[33:12]the game pin is displayed at the bottom of the screen so

[33:18]the answer interestingly is all of them Imam was familiar with all

[33:28]spoken languages he is reported to have said you can speak in

[33:32]any language for I can understand you and we have incidents narrated

[33:37]by some of his students where people from foreign lands would come

[33:43]and visit the Imam and witness Imam having a conversation in a

[33:45]completely foreign language and they'd just be completely astounded but that is

[33:49]in fact the case that the Imam was able to speak all

[33:54]of the languages so well done for for if anyone got all

[33:57]of those okay fantastic so leaderboards MK is up to second place

[34:06]and km the other way around is in fourth place looks like

[34:10]ah has dropped off the leaderboard unfortunately okay so let's go in

[34:17]fact before we go to the next question call there for a

[34:19]moment so during the life of our sixth holy Imam he was

[34:27]known for his Hospitality his charity and the helping of the needy

[34:32]in secrecy and his fair treatment for the poor relatives um and

[34:38]um for those who were suffering difficulties within Society so one story

[34:45]to demonstrate the good virtue of Imam once a pilgrim was visiting

[34:53]the prophet's mosque in Medina and he fell asleep who asked inside

[34:56]the mosque when he woke up he hardly kind of searched his

[35:00]belongings and he couldn't find his money purse which had contained one

[35:07]thousand dinars so he realized that this purse was missing so he

[35:10]looked around and he saw Imam Assad it praying not too far

[35:16]from him so he went to the Imam and he accused him

[35:18]of having taken his money purse the Imam asked you know what

[35:23]did this purse contain and he was told that it contains one

[35:26]thousand it contained one thousand dinars so then the question is coming

[35:30]up now so let's move on to the question and the question

[35:35]is when the Imam was accused how did he respond when the

[35:38]Imam was accused of taking these 1000 dnr's how did he respond

[35:42]uh yep he told the man to come to his house where

[35:46]he gave him a thousand dnr's he brought him home served him

[35:50]food and prayed for his forgiveness he told the man why we

[35:53]shouldn't accuse without evidence and he didn't take the money or he

[35:55]didn't take the money as he was busy in prayer I hope

[36:02]you had enough time to read that because it was a bit

[36:05]tight for me um but congratulations most of you got that right

[36:10]so 17 with the correct answer so he told the man to

[36:15]come to his house where he gave this man the exact amount

[36:18]that he said was missing now interestingly when the stranger went back

[36:21]to the mosque so he went back to the mosque he was

[36:26]satisfied with what the Imam had done and once again he checked

[36:28]his belongings and as it so happened he found that money bag

[36:33]it was actually there all along greatly ashamed of his conduct he

[36:39]came back to the Imam he apologized and asked him to take

[36:42]his money back and Imam replied with these words we never take

[36:45]back what we give away but if you feel guilty about it

[36:50]then give it to the poor in the town and this is

[36:54]exactly what the uh this gentleman did he gave all of that

[36:56]money in charity to the poor people within the city of Medina

[37:02]so A beautiful example there of The Virtue and good nature of

[37:05]our six holy Imam alaihi Salaam so let's take another look at

[37:11]the leaderboard okay so the lead has opened up to about 1200

[37:16]points or so um and a good 1500 points between second and

[37:23]third um yeah Ali is on the leaderboard in fourth and km

[37:26]down in fifth and we've got a few people on a streak

[37:30]of four questions which is which is good so let's keep that

[37:34]going Insha'Allah and see if we can uh catch kierpuri so Imam

[37:40]was poisoned in the 10th year of the reign of Mansoor upon

[37:46]the order of Mansoor so let's go to the next question and

[37:52]the question is how old was Imam when he passed away how

[37:57]old was he when he passed away 33 43 53-63 I think

[38:11]we've almost got all the answers in I can see that some

[38:17]have definitely joined because we're up to 43 answers and yes so

[38:20]14 got that correct um so that was a good point scorer

[38:25]for those who got that one right um 14 correct the answer

[38:33]is 63.

[38:31]and let's take a look at the leaderboard oh second and third

[38:39]place lost some ground there um and fourth place is hot in

[38:45]Pursuit okay let's go to the next question the next question is

[38:55]where is Imam buried where is buried Medina or Damascus and well

[39:19]done almost everyone got that correct uh Imam Jackson indeed is buried

[39:24]in the cemetery of genital Berkeley in the city of Madina by

[39:29]the side of his father Imam Muhammad inshallah we pray for the

[39:35]day when the uh the sites in general are rebuilt to their

[39:39]former glory insha Allah Imam in fact let's uh go to the

[39:46]let's go to the leaderboard in fact I think that might have

[39:51]been the last question I think it was so let's have a

[39:56]look at the final standings third place badamkir second place MK has

[40:01]gone up to second place right at the end and I think

[40:05]no surprises here for the winner congratulations kirapuri I don't know who

[40:08]that is but I think as your prize you can come and

[40:11]collect your kirikori first foreign with many pieces of advice so let's

[40:27]end by sharing off one of those pieces of advice he says

[40:33]my son Allah has hidden three things inside three things he has

[40:38]hidden his satisfaction in obedience to him so do not belittle any

[40:44]Act of obedience as it may lead to his satisfaction he has

[40:48]also hidden his wrath in disobedience so do not belittle any Act

[40:54]of Disobedience to him as it may bring about his Wrath and

[40:57]he has hidden his holy men amongst his creatures so do not

[41:01]belittle any of his creatures for one of them may be among

[41:04]his holy men finally sofra is an occasion where We Gather in

[41:09]the remembrance of Imam and pray for Allah through his through his

[41:13]wasila whilst the authenticity of the story of suffror has not been

[41:18]established the concept of seeking our herjat through his wasila is indisputable

[41:23]and so this event has formed within our culture in many of

[41:28]our communities let us therefore end with their Dua through the wasila

[41:32]about the sixth holy Imam alaihissalam Ya Allah we pray for the

[41:38]Muslims around the world suffering hardship oppression and difficulty in particular for

[41:44]the victims of the earthquake in turkey and Syria and their families

[41:47]Ya Allah please enable us to derive maximal benefits from these holy

[41:54]months of rajab shataburn and the holy month of Ramadan and make

[41:57]us amongst the true Shia so that we may be worthy of

[42:01]the name ashiri Ya Allah please bless this community and all those

[42:06]gathered here this evening forgive strengthen our bonds of willia between them

[42:12]and enable us to execute the will of our twelve holy Imam

[42:17]we pray that this goes of our Good Deeds Goes to our

[42:22]parents our teachers the scholars the and those who have a right

[42:24]over us can I please ask that we end with the recitation
