[29:40]and to all of the M on the occasion of the shahadat

[29:43]of our sixth holy IM IM can I please request the recitation

[29:54]of for a brief reminder that inshallah we'll be having a Dua

[30:19]Kumil program this Thursday uh commencing at 8:00 p.m.

[30:24]all are invited to attend inshallah uh this evening we're honored to

[30:29]be hosting shh Mirah Abbas um sheh we're delighted that you've accepted

[30:33]our invitation once again this evening can I kindly ask you all

[30:39]to join me in welcoming with the recitation of three loud e

[31:28]for m we extend our condolences to the Imam of our time

[32:35]all of our IAT our Gatherings must have the reminder of IM

[32:45]and that's why would say that even in your recite the Dua

[32:53]that makes our gathering that makes our majalis that makes our Salat

[33:01]prayers IAT with a purpose because all of our ibadat our conferences

[33:05]our Gatherings our sittings is for Imam we want this Gathering to

[33:15]be you know connected to him and the uh and the uh

[33:18]final uh Triumph of of the promise of Allah subhana wa tala

[33:25]so therefore uh we extend our condolences to the Imam of our

[33:32]time uh we are from the F and maab of jaffari and

[33:37]we are commemorating the martyrdom of our sixth Imam uh and uh

[33:43]there should be more than just a gathering and I'm pretty sure

[33:47]this Thursday night program you know things were reminded about the sixth

[33:50]Imam it's very much required of us to to remember uh the

[33:55]six Imam because we are the followers of the six Imam known

[34:00]as a jaffari although we are the followers of all imams but

[34:05]he was the one who you know established our our our our

[34:08]school that's why we are known as jaffari now this itself uh

[34:13]reminds us that why jaffari you know this shows that till that

[34:23]period there wasn't any organized institutionalized approach to preach Dean to teach

[34:31]Dean to talk about religion among the Muslims you know the umds

[34:39]in Syria as they were ruling with the iron fist to the

[34:42]extent that when the time of Hajj comes they will say go

[34:47]to B madas you don't need to go to Caba because Caba

[34:49]was under the control of Abdullah Zu You know he was the

[34:54]khif of the time so imagine this was the understanding of theam

[34:57]of Allah subhana tala you know okay go to Sham to go

[35:05]toad you don't have to go to right I mean when it

[35:11]comes to you know the Shia iMat believe it was a six

[35:13]Imam period where the grave of people found out you know even

[35:19]the fourth IM would there is a z from the fourth IM

[35:21]but he would go in a very hidden secret way and would

[35:27]recite because you know the amount of uh propagation against Amir by

[35:31]the by cursing Amir was so common that even if the Nam

[35:37]Juma IM forgets to curse Amir who have to go back to

[35:45]the Masjid and carry out this must according to them you know

[35:48]they have to curse Amir so it was actually the six Imam

[35:55]who revived it so you can see that how the situation was

[35:58]in terms of the Muslim umah in terms of their practices right

[36:04]it was a very strange period right in even from the political

[36:08]angle where you know family members even who were close to the

[36:15]6 Imam there's a person called Abdullah Ali Hussein the son of

[36:20]our fourth Imam who be was was the uncle of the six

[36:26]Imam comes to the house of the six Imam enters the ch

[36:28]chamber enters the room and then the asab outside hearing the way

[36:32]the amount of disrespect that Abdullah Ali did to the six Imam

[36:39]saying that why are you not engaging yourself politically why don't you

[36:42]take the Reign why don't you become the leader for this movement

[36:44]that is happening the movies are are diminishing and deteriorating and the

[36:49]power is in the hands of the basis wants to take over

[36:53]they have offered use this and that and the other you know

[36:55]this was a typical political incorrectness that Abdullah Ali had and he

[36:59]was really upset now theab were saying shall we enter the room

[37:04]shall we not enter the room you know to stop him there's

[37:06]the amount of disrespect is his uncle right so then he left

[37:11]you know uh the house in in Rage and next day he

[37:13]comes back again you know now the asab is there shall we

[37:19]allow him to go inside shall we not allow him to go

[37:22]inside you know but he's the family member but the way he

[37:24]came he his head is down you know he's embarrassed he's shy

[37:29]then they said okay let's see let him go and then he

[37:31]goes inside he apologizes the sixth Imam he says what happened you

[37:36]know yesterday you went like this today you're like this he said

[37:39]I saw rasol Allah in the dream I saw Ras in the

[37:43]dream and I saw that the angels are taking me towards Janam

[37:46]and I'm telling them that I'm you know son of rasol because

[37:52]he was a family of rasol Allah then they saidas himself asked

[37:55]us to take you right so they said then he saw rasol

[38:00]Allah he said Ras why he said what did you do last

[38:02]yesterday this is not the way you know then I came here

[38:07]to apologize you to you know seek forgiveness what I have done

[38:09]last night so what I'm trying to say is that from a

[38:14]political side and family you know sort of pressure and people around

[38:17]they are pushing him to do that from the what do you

[38:23]call theological ILY side I mean it was a time period where

[38:27]different types of of ideologies and understanding was surfacing up because it

[38:34]was the very prune age prune era where people were expressing and

[38:39]engaging themselves in education you know in comparison to how it was

[38:45]before it was all wars and wars and Wars right and now

[38:50]the omds are in power and they are fighting so the people

[38:54]were sick and tired and they indulged themselves in some sort of

[38:58]education and you know to increase knowledge and all that and here

[39:04]you have the six Imam who have to answer and promote and

[39:08]teach the true Islam you know the the opportunity is provided to

[39:11]the six Imam right so he is engaging with different groups of

[39:20]people different thoughts you know existed uh there was a person who

[39:24]traveled all the way from Egypt he came to Medina to meet

[39:26]the Imam and they said that Imam is in Makkah so from

[39:32]Madina he traveled to mekah to meet the Imam right uh so

[39:38]this shows that the interests the people had to to educate thems

[39:42]and he was somebody who believed in the creation of the world

[39:48]as on its own he did not believe in Allah so he

[39:50]came to he comes to Makkah and speaks to the Imam he

[39:54]says I don't believe and the Imam says okay and the beauty

[39:58]is that Imam dealt with each and every individual on their level

[40:02]you know um so here this person says that I don't believe

[40:06]because I don't see him then Imam you know there's a detailed

[40:11]Hadith that Imam talks about there are certain elements within this Earth

[40:15]That You Don't See do do you not believe in some people

[40:17]have commented here that Imam is talking about the gravity you know

[40:23]that he's talking about this you know there's some sort of Jaz

[40:25]there's some sort of pull you know that Imam kind of indicates

[40:27]that so he said yes I don't see it but I I

[40:31]believe then he says what about Treasures there may be Treasures you

[40:34]don't believe there are stars and there may be life you know

[40:38]on those planets or there may be things on those planet that

[40:40]you don't see you don't know the possibility yeah I don't believe

[40:44]I don't no no I believe that there are stars and there

[40:46]are these things that I don't see so Imam says you don't

[40:49]see all of these things you don't see the gravity so to

[40:51]speak you know in bracket gravity you don't see the treasures you

[40:54]don't see the East you don't see the west but still you

[40:57]believe that these things are there don't you then he says yes

[41:00]I do then how come you know you don't believe that Allah

[41:04]subh tala is there you know you're you're believing in the Unseen

[41:07]but when it comes to Allah you're not you know you're being

[41:10]selective in that case then that kind of really rings the bell

[41:15]for this person so he dealt with him in a very polite

[41:21]way in a very educative way you know for example you know

[41:23]the whole mu that where IM dictates and speaks about which is

[41:26]translated English as well you know so Imam was at this type

[41:32]of era where there's a lot of different types of belief system

[41:35]even those who were you know non you know don't believe in

[41:40]Allah the people were there people who Zas were there people you

[41:44]know with different uh theologic Juris Prudential understanding and all of them

[41:51]were the students of the Imam you know Imam as we are

[41:53]very proud of and we speak about and we remind had 4,000

[41:59]students they were not all she students you know like for example

[42:03]you know Abu hanifah you know he was not like zurara or

[42:07]he was not like hisam hakam or he was not like you

[42:10]know Abu Bas you know who believed in that Mak of IM

[42:15]but still student of the Imam you know shafii you know hamali

[42:18]all of these were the students of the Imam but Imam provided

[42:21]that knowledge why because Imam knew that in the future you know

[42:27]The Limited knowledge that they have still will keep together the value

[42:35]of Hajj and the rituals and the rights and they will come

[42:37]to the understanding of the vision and knowledge of a sooner or

[42:40]later and that's what we are seeing today because at a given

[42:45]time where there are noan there are no rules as such in

[42:48]regards to Hajj everything is you know do okay go do Haj

[42:53]in Syria right you know Abdullah Zu made a bedroom on top

[42:55]of the Makkah you know that's how things were you know the

[43:00]son of a sahabi and he's behaving in this fashion right so

[43:06]Imam with patience you know as there's a narration IM the IM

[43:11]says our iMat is based on seven foundations on seven major uh

[43:19]you know truths uh one of them he says is as they

[43:23]say in is tolerance you know as in Udu we'll say sam

[43:29]you know Imam was very tolerating to the pressures and difficulties and

[43:34]different peoples how they treated the IM even manik as we know

[43:37]when you know when we're going to be discussing Mas in in

[43:41]a bit we'll point out to how he was treated but he

[43:43]was very patient his family member just Abdullah Al how he was

[43:50]treated the IM but very he was he was very tolerant of

[43:52]different types of ideologies different types of understanding but at the same

[43:56]time making sure that he provide the right guidance to everybody you

[44:03]know they say that a magician came from India at that time

[44:06]right and uh he knows the he knows the knowledge of the

[44:12]and he comes Imam comes you know to have a debate to

[44:14]speak to him right to give you know uh to show his

[44:19]presence to you know and then he says that Imam had something

[44:22]in his hand he says what is in my hand the magician

[44:26]says you have two pigeon eggs and he opens it there was

[44:32]oh everybody their jaw dropped you know yes right so how do

[44:34]you know this you know he says that I checked the whole

[44:38]Alam whole universe and I saw that there is this pigeon Nest

[44:41]two eggs are missing which you took it you brought it here

[44:46]says masallah how do you do this you know he says that

[44:48]whatever my NPS will say I will do against that my na

[44:53]says to sleep I will not sleep my na says to eat

[44:57]I will not eat I'm going against my naps and these are

[44:59]you know things people you know human being have that ability with

[45:02]some spiritual exercises so on and so forth one tend to reach

[45:07]something and try to achieve something you know and mallah these days

[45:10]you know this yoga that yoga this breathing that breathing you know

[45:13]will teach you how to breathe you know today the the time

[45:17]that we are living in is actually you know I'm sorry it's

[45:20]a mental health that is Peak different types of mental health you

[45:23]know we in these days only you know people want some sort

[45:29]of you know Focus people need to speak people need to be

[45:31]listen you know what what are these people doing they say okay

[45:36]I will teach you how to breathe they go for this Retreat

[45:38]that Retreat this class that class teaching how to breathe and this

[45:42]will clear your your block of energy that is there uh and

[45:47]then they will listen and they'll listen to this person you know

[45:49]they will say I feel this way I feel that way oh

[45:52]yeah is this the advice it's okay and at the after 1

[45:57]hour 70 okay that's you know what I mean right it's just

[46:00]because these days parents are not paying attention to the children children

[46:05]are not paying attention to the parents teachers are not paying attention

[46:08]to the students students are not paying attention to the teacher husband

[46:11]to the wife no everybody's in their own world everybody's nobody's listening

[46:16]there nobody have time to listen and sit and speak you know

[46:20]they may have a meal they may go out but they are

[46:21]somewhere else they are checking out you know when is the next

[46:27]Retreat of breathing right so so you know the and all of

[46:30]this is actually this I'm sorry I'm going a bit you know

[46:33]uh in the in the tangent in the mar all of this

[46:36]is based on pure materialism they have some truth to it yes

[46:40]they have taken one or two pages from here there and they

[46:45]are put together and they are presenting it and it will have

[46:48]some effect obviously you know when you go and speak to someone

[46:50]for an hour and you you you feel relief you know there's

[46:55]so much pressure you know you speak to someone you feel relief

[46:57]and release you ah yes I feel very light okay good it's

[47:03]because of that you know that breathing exercise I taught you or

[47:06]whatever right and they have taken this out and the purpose of

[47:09]that is nothing but pool is nothing but money you know I

[47:14]have learned this I will teach this and I'll will get this

[47:17]money and what will this promote this will promote not a social

[47:26]spirituality not a social well-being but rather the ego but rather individualism

[47:30]right it's promoting individualism why because it's based on pure materialism you

[47:36]know the purpose that I'm teaching this is for that right so

[47:39]that's what's happening right so here is this magician he may is

[47:45]me against the naps and it's possible you know people might know

[47:47]that you know by certain exercises then Imam sad says that okay

[47:51]I ask you to bring Islam I said no no no I

[47:56]said okay you're NS go against your NPS accept it now you

[48:01]said you'll go against it so he was like stuck you know

[48:03]he was dumbfounded then he accepted it they say he accepted it

[48:06]and then you know he started learning through the and teachings of

[48:12]the six Imam so you have this personality anas bin Malik in

[48:22]one of the books uh his his quotation has been brought uh

[48:28]who was scholar in full right in his time from Sunnah he

[48:31]says that I he hasn't seen the eyes has not seen the

[48:38]ears have not heard the presence have not been felt then somebody

[48:42]who can be greater than you know uh our sixth Imam that's

[48:47]what he says in terms of his tawa in terms of his

[48:51]knowledge in terms of his you know right that he was well

[48:57]known you know people may at that time had difference of opinion

[49:00]in regards to their theological belief or you know ideological belief but

[49:06]all had the common belief that this man is amazing this man

[49:10]is knowledgeable this man is generous this man is so great right

[49:15]so one of the things that the the Imam have mentioned out

[49:17]of all those seven is that tolerance is mud is you know

[49:23]that's what the iMat of ours is based on then the second

[49:25]thing he said is you know is very important is very important

[49:33]principle that we have and Imam you know said that our IM

[49:35]is based on that he fely utilized and he promoted that you

[49:40]know there were two people you know at because we know that

[49:42]how you know people who were lovers who had that Moab ofam

[49:50]were were killed left and right right you know haaj B yusu

[49:53]will not have his breakfast unless or until there is one head

[49:57]from the lovers of from alali you know that's how they were

[50:01]right so was very important you know as we know at the

[50:07]time of the prophet he did right and Prophet acknowledged that right

[50:12]that is number three he also says that you know the the

[50:16]love muhabat that imams were very caring to everybody I mean this

[50:23]itself that he's teaching everyone shows that how caring how kind he

[50:28]is right um and some of the students who came to him

[50:34]just I just got reminded of is uh you know the the

[50:36]famous narration that we have of unan basri you know 96 year

[50:42]old man student of anas Bin Malik comes to the Imam and

[50:44]ask you know to become a student but Imam aoid say it's

[50:47]surveillance so on and so forth this shows that the scholar at

[50:52]that age wants to learn have travel you know knows that this

[50:55]man is a knowledgeable person and would like to educate right so

[51:01]so Imam with love and care taught everybody and it's been mentioned

[51:05]that you know at nights he would go to a vicinity to

[51:10]a neighborhood to give charity to give Sak to take water and

[51:13]bread to the needy and poor the asab said well this area

[51:18]is not of Muslims he say I know that but he would

[51:20]with with that love and care that he gave to all Humanity

[51:25]people will pull towards the IM people like the IM right and

[51:28]there are lot of contribution when we reflect on uh on the

[51:33]life of the fifth IM many contribution out of which uh you

[51:36]know five tends to stand out the most one of them is

[51:43]his interpretation of the Quran of the Quran there are thousands and

[51:46]thousands of had there's a university called University of Imam sadik and

[51:50]they have compiled volumous work on what on all of the Hades

[51:56]that are there in relation to the of the Quran by the

[51:59]6 IM right and why not be the case is the is

[52:04]is is Quran and at the same time when he's looking at

[52:08]you know Quran being deserted nobody's really you know going after the

[52:12]true knowledge of the Quran and how the situation was as we

[52:16]just recently spoke just spoke now right then of the Quran Lads

[52:20]of there lots of Hadith in regards to the tap of the

[52:25]Quran he revived that right and number two was theah ofo you

[52:28]know he would ask people to bring water and he would make

[52:33]woo and he said made wo like this right this is how

[52:37]he would do the this is how he would proof right that's

[52:39]why that you know we follow you know IM ja actually we

[52:45]are following you know he was the one who established that number

[52:48]three was the question of iMat he taught IM to people you

[52:53]know on all different level on the Pol social politics level and

[52:58]on the deeper level the mystical understanding the understanding of who an

[53:06]Imam is and how Imam is born you know I I'll read

[53:10]an Hadi in in a bit where you will find that in

[53:16]Mina he will go for Hajj and he would stand and he

[53:18]would say loudly facing four sides that after alali is the first

[53:26]IM and then Imam Hassan and then Imam Hussein then IM Zid

[53:30]then IM Bak the 501 and then me four sides you know

[53:37]three times he would say you know 12 times basically to everybody

[53:42]so he introduced like as we said just now you know the

[53:48]grave of Amir wasn't found it was Imam sad who was the

[53:55]first one to contribute towards building the grave of you know he

[53:59]gave money to the people to make the grave properly which was

[54:05]found right that's the third thing and and when it comes to

[54:08]IM is not only that and it's very important to have this

[54:13]deeper understanding of IM right if you help me with this muham

[54:23]where the where he talks about this Hadith this is once again

[54:28]in the pilgrimage to Makkah the six Imam describes the circumstances of

[54:33]the conception and birth of an Imam for a group of his

[54:37]disciple who accompanied him on a pilgrimage to Makkah the speech took

[54:41]place on the occasion of the birth of J IM jaad son

[54:47]M kazim according to this Hadith the KN that the seed of

[54:53]an Imam is foreseen to be conceived a mysterious being atin the

[54:58]arrival appears before his father and present Imam and has him drink

[55:05]something finer than water softer than butter sweeter than honey colder than

[55:11]snow whiter than milk and commands him to unite with his spouse

[55:19]thus the seed of the future Imam is conceived after 4 months

[55:22]the spirit is produced in the seed then God sends a Celestial

[55:25]entity called called hayan The Living to inscribe on the embryo's right

[55:32]arm the phrase the eye of the Quran and the word of

[55:37]your lord is accomplished in all truth and Justice no one can

[55:44]change his word he is it who hears and knows this is

[55:49]chapter 6 verse number 115 the Hadith is long you know how

[55:52]the birth takes place and so on this is a very esoteric

[55:56]deep belief of Shia Islam very similar to whenas went on Mir

[56:03]and he was given the fruit because Allah Mir happened 40 days

[56:10]Allah asked Allah not to be with his spouse for 40 days

[56:16]he fasted he prayed after 40 days he was called and then

[56:20]Allah offered the prophet the fruit of Jenna that's why the prophet

[56:24]whenever he will Embrace Fatima he would say say I smell that

[56:27]fruit which was given to me you know this is a a

[56:33]very deep spiritual esoteric Shia belief right that's why when you look

[56:37]at for example Imam who's at the age of five and six

[56:43]you know he's debating with you know uh the chief Kazi IM

[56:46]jaad the chief Kazi right when M wanted to give his daughter

[56:52]in marriage right you know he says you know he's just a

[56:55]child what okay bring him right so the knowledge of the IM

[57:00]in this Hadith it talks about the knowledge of the IM that

[57:03]God the Supreme gives this child who's about to be born the

[57:09]secret of the secrets the Deep knowledge and sends the r and

[57:16]Ru descends of descends on the 12th IM right so who which

[57:19]from which Imam this Hadith is is a six Imam talking about

[57:26]this deep secret and belief system that we have right so six

[57:30]Imam the third thing the Quran right the which was you know

[57:39]uh forgotten IM revived it right as we all know the iMat

[57:45]was completely forgotten to the extent of curses and so on and

[57:49]so forth was taken place from the Masid is Imam who revived

[57:51]it in different way this is on his Hajj trip this Hadith

[57:55]is on his Hajj trip right you know the the the the

[57:59]the grave and then the fourth thing is in regards to Reviving

[58:05]The carala you know he would although the you know he's from

[58:10]the tat of the previous IM the fourth Imam far the Poetry

[58:13]you know how they you know give uh supported those who were

[58:19]the poets how then you have this Hadith from from the six

[58:21]Imam that a person who recites a poetry or writes a poetry

[58:25]in the praise of of IM Hussein J house in J is

[58:30]vaj for him promoting it is is the of recitation of the

[58:37]Z not Z in which the AL of a m which is

[58:41]from the 11th IM right the is from the sixth Imam zat

[58:43]of ab abas is from the six Imam many of the zarat

[58:48]that we have is all from the six Imam right of Imam

[58:53]Hussein so he revived that and we know that how important carala

[58:55]is it was the im's contribution for that right so you have

[59:00]the Quran you have the Sunnah you have the iMat you have

[59:07]the what do you call uh you know the Revival of um

[59:12]carala you know Revival of the carala that took place which was

[59:17]done and contributed by the Imam and finally is the training of

[59:23]students and emphasizing more on on intellect you know that is done

[59:32]by the six Imam hakam Z Abu Bas you know train them

[59:34]in different ways every student had different capacity in terms of their

[59:39]intellectual understanding is was good in theology Z was good in F

[59:44]Abu Basir was good in mysticism and that's why we have all

[59:47]of these Hades that we have from these asab are based or

[59:53]are or have that type of uh you know uh that type

[59:55]of material in it you know Abu Bas says the suf says

[60:01]that you can see Allah you know from Abu Bas this had

[60:02]he says why on the day of judgment then IM says that

[60:07]why do you have to wait till you can see Allah now

[60:10]whatever you see before everything you see you see the light of

[60:15]Allah and then after that you recognize what that thing is is

[60:17]because of Allah so first you see Allah and then you see

[60:22]that obviously with that eye of the heart you know with that

[60:24]eye not physically because there's another beautiful Hadith in regards to you

[60:29]know this look at the contribution they said somebody said you can

[60:36]see Allah so Imam says that okay you know the Sun the

[60:39]light of the sun he says yes the sun is you know

[60:44]117th of the light of the Kur of Allah tala the is

[60:59]117 of the light of um you know hijab because after there

[61:05]is hijab the hijab is 117th of the light of satra curtain

[61:09]the curtain is 117th of the light of AR and tell me

[61:17]can you see Allah with the naked eye you know so very

[61:25]spiritual Irani mystical narrations that we have have why he was faced

[61:30]with people who were Sufi maslak who believed in you know anthromorph

[61:34]ISM and some sort of strange belief system which they had of

[61:38]Quran he faced with that you know somebody comes to the six

[61:47]they said we don't want to pray because we want to doik

[61:53]because isar right they left their prayers because why because the I

[61:57]says right but IM says you know what zik isik is the

[62:03]Halal andam of Allah you know if a person is careful about

[62:07]Halal andam then that Sal will be otherwise we have that in

[62:15]the Quran too right so that's what the meaning of the Quran

[62:18]the you know which you know contributed so in this sort of

[62:25]pressure and the time that the Imam was living in was was

[62:30]very rich from one angle because they were liberal thoughts they were

[62:35]materialistic there were different types of belief of suf and Imam but

[62:40]Imam made sure that things stay in place intact and true belief

[62:45]is transferred in the most suitable in the most beautiful way with

[62:50]and respect and everything and he managed that and what we have
