[9:51]can I please request the recitation of those who have provided evenings

[9:58]program and foreign thank you we are honored to be hosting Chef

[10:22]Muhammad al-hilli for the Manchester United on behalf of the executive we

[10:29]thank you once again for accepting our humble invitation to honor us

[10:32]with a majority support this evening's program can I please ask me

[10:35]what we need to join me in welcome with the recitation of

[10:41]three loud SolidWorks Adam and those were early on us I had

[12:22]foreign [Music] foreign foreign foreign is there a condition today that you

[13:45]and I know that imams are known by a number of titles

[13:48]many of us have come to know one major title for each

[13:54]and every Imam we know the seventh Imam as you know the

[14:00]for example the sixth Imam as a father some of us referred

[14:03]to the tenth Imam as al-hadi others as anaki the 11th Imam

[14:07]is known as when it comes to their episodes and their titles

[14:12]these were given to them primarily by the holy prophet of Islam

[14:17]nobody and make themselves others were descriptions of their qualities their characteristics

[14:23]that they came to know or people came to know or associate

[14:28]with them that's why when it comes to these titles they're just

[14:32]not names that you and I recall they're much more than that

[14:38]for you and I the eighth holy Imam is known by a

[14:40]number of titles and happy events he's known as for example the

[14:46]picture ones how much hardship have to deal with when it came

[14:54]to the persecution of the Shia by for example the abbasis such

[15:01]as and the usurping of their rights the fact that the Imam

[15:05]would say that sometimes his household will only have one outer garment

[15:09]by which they would use to perform their prayers the women and

[15:13]that was the extent of the Injustice and the oppression in Medina

[15:18]when his holy father was in the dungeons in Baghdad similarly we

[15:22]are told he is known as a Zaki the pure one due

[15:28]to the demonstrations of the Excellence when it comes to Purity and

[15:31]his connection with Allah purity of his wealth because narrations tell us

[15:37]that for example once he saw a poor man who came to

[15:41]him on the day of alpha Imam gives him his entire wealth

[15:49]looks at him he says to him today you've become the poorest

[15:55]person you have nothing Imam looks at him and says today I

[15:58]have become the richest person an individual who gives for the sake

[16:04]of Allah cannot be compared and is considered the richest we find

[16:09]that once the purpose came to Imam and said to him give

[16:14]me on the decree of your murua means whatever your level of

[16:23]chivalry is give me do you know what the answer of Iman

[16:25]was Imam says no I can't I can't give you according to

[16:33]that level you cannot in any shape or form Define the chivalry

[16:37]of the anime that man said very well give me a call

[16:49]it to him the recognition is he is known as individual who

[16:53]was a demonstration a manifestation of the Excellence of obedience and worship

[17:00]to Allah demonstrated in the form of for example humility when it

[17:09]them the famous story in which the Imam alaihissalam was there it

[17:15]was a soldier with the army of Allah didn't recognize him said

[17:34]how is it possible that you such a status are serving such

[17:55]him why should I tell you that which deprives me from Allah

[17:59]and the recognition he was known as one of the titles of

[18:06]the Imam is an Imam of in many communities or cultures particularly

[18:13]in Iran and the Indian circontinent this is very well known I

[18:18]remember when I first began to lecture a community such as Roger

[18:24]community in Pakistan in the communities I came to know the term

[18:28]Imam and it wasn't something that was immediately clear for me yes

[18:33]because what the belief is for example in such communities and that

[18:38]is that when you travel for example you take some coins some

[18:46]communities what they do is they tie it to their right arm

[18:49]and they make sure that this is given as sadaka when they

[18:55]reach their destination this is for the purposes of protection when it

[19:00]comes to travel many times you hear the term Imam salmon I'm

[19:03]giving you something Imam Zam remember Allah and the European Mission and

[19:11]I was honored to take part for many many years every year

[19:14]when we go for hunts they would send us the package which

[19:18]involves all that we need and help for example some of the

[19:23]books some of the Dua for example the backpacks other things the

[19:26]belt and I always used to find an envelope which said on

[19:33]it Imam zombie it always had 50p in it yes it always

[19:35]I remember it always had what 50b in it which was what

[19:40]it says this is Imam you ask people what does this mean

[19:45]how does this refer to the aforementioned today that we have a

[19:50]number of practices in our communities that some people have been having

[19:56]to continuously want to attack a question meaning what they'll come to

[19:59]you and I'll say hold on there's no basis for this within

[20:02]the religion of Islam so don't do it you know there is

[20:05]a million disease in some people and that is question everything and

[20:08]put doubt everything that is a problem in the recognition that what's

[20:12]wrong with this idea that you and I for example have this

[20:17]money and then we give it whether you carry it and you

[20:18]put it in your arm or you carry it in your pocket

[20:21]there's nothing wrong with it as such no one is necessarily saying

[20:23]that that is somehow a part from the ahadi literature from the

[20:30]Quran so someday that some people have grown to associate yet the

[20:34]connection with the eight Imam is of Paramount importance because people say

[20:40]one of the Titans known as Imam how is this connection for

[20:45]my research I found two narrations that people utilize in order to

[20:54]link this element with the age [Applause] one incident is less famous

[21:05]than the second answer but this first incident is found in Americans

[21:09]the second isn't let's have a look at that the first one

[21:18]is summoned an individual who was accused of being a thief that

[21:22]person had stolen something he came and said to him it is

[21:29]my command that your hand will be chopped off this man looked

[21:32]at him and said there is no way you could do that

[21:36]he said why he said for three reasons what do you mean

[21:40]he said there are three reasons why I stole he said why

[21:46]number one he said you are the king and you have not

[21:54]descendant from the family of the holy prophet and you have deprived

[22:00]us from our rights our homes number three you are a slave

[22:07]I am your master how can a slave punish his master who

[22:13]called me a slave and I am the head of the Muslims

[22:19]immediately who is there right next to him was the a Holy

[22:25]Angel would then say what he is saying is true I will

[22:28]guarantee you safety my moon said how can you tell me how

[22:39]is that possible yes Imam said he is saying that you are

[22:42]a slave why because your father harun used the treasury money to

[22:47]purchase a slave woman and you were born from that particular relationship

[22:53]therefore he was still considered what belonging to the treasury modern Muslim

[22:59]and that belongs to him and everyone else very well you're free

[23:08]people when they come to name Imam as the one who guarantees

[23:16]the second which is much more popular today when you are in

[23:31]measure you'll see images of what of the gazelle in many places

[23:38]I think it might be even in some nodes some people say

[23:42]it was printed it notes this is a very famous story that

[23:44]you tell people from Iran yes and they'll tell you this is

[23:50]amazing story this is a story that we believe in you've heard

[23:53]of this story this story is what this story is on the

[23:56]idea that the Imam Ali salaam was traveling towards on his way

[24:02]when he was summoned by when he was summoned yes in an

[24:11]area that today is called what it's called anahu something like this

[24:18]yes saw a gazelle being chased by a hunter the gazelle came

[24:23]and hid behind a video and then one and then the hunter

[24:29]came forward Imam was able to speak to this animal the animal

[24:33]spoke to the Imam and said I am running to feed my

[24:41]phones the young gazelle Studios and if you let me I will

[24:45]come back Imam looked at the Hunter and said very well leave

[24:49]do not hunt this particular item for it she will come back

[24:55]the hunter said house is possible but how can you trust that

[24:58]animal how do I know that you're right yes there are different

[25:00]versions of the story some say Iman said I guarantee and you

[25:06]could hold me until it came back others say no the hunter

[25:08]said very well they lent this particular animal goal it felt its

[25:14]horns and it came back was very much astonished and said well

[25:18]because of this I will not Chase it and it became free

[25:20]therefore people now began to say that Imam was the guarantor of

[25:29]protection guarantor of safety he guaranteed the safety of this animal it

[25:32]there are narrations found in SUNY and Shiite that talk about very

[25:40]similar incidents at the time of holy prophet Muhammad in which we

[25:51]are told that the prophet of Islam would also see distressed animals

[25:55]who would say that we are being hunted and speak to them

[26:00]there is no doubt when it comes to abilities that there is

[26:09]no doubt yes you ask me how I tell you Sulaiman isn't

[26:14]this demonstrated in the Quran and the recognition that he spoke to

[26:19]the word he spoke to the aunts we know the language of

[26:29]the animals we can communicate with them number one number two they

[26:33]were able to communicate with others using their own language one of

[26:35]them was he would have debates and discussions for people with other

[26:42]backgrounds and other languages and he was discussed using their own for

[26:47]example sometimes their own dialects so that there is no problem similarly

[26:50]we have a similar incident at the time of only four three

[27:18]books of Hadith it is widely accepted amongst the masses to be

[27:29]we have similar narrations that highlight something related to this for example

[27:31]emergency narrates that there was an individual who is the son of

[27:40]the Sultan of Sandra and he was Civility and he was really

[27:43]sick one day he went out and he saw a gazelle beautiful

[27:49]gazala began to run after it this animal went well into the

[27:52]grave of the Imam Islam in that area and when he went

[27:58]inside he saw the gravey sat next to the grave and he

[28:03]saw from the grave as a result of this he became cured

[28:05]and the sultan then built a monument built this particular Shrine of

[28:14]the Imam Ali Salam in honor of what happened to his son

[28:17]therefore the idea that emerges is related to this particular title however

[28:23]please focus on this the particular very delicate point and that is

[28:30]that there is a stronger evidence within our literature and a better

[28:36]meaning of Imam Obama that you and I need to understand because

[28:43]it is founded on reliable authentic Hadith of the island this is

[28:49]key for us to reflect yes the discussion is going to be

[28:55]mainly associated with analyzing some of the Hadith so the discussion needs

[28:58]your attention and the discussion is theological why because the Hadith that

[29:02]we have one of many that is found for example and other

[29:09]books this one from the Holy Night it says I guarantee who

[29:36]visits the grave of my father impose who understands and has magnified

[29:44]of his status there is a guarantee of paradise given to him

[29:51]or her by Allah what emerges when we look at some of

[29:58]the Hadith which I will call to you is is in reference

[30:04]to the individual who is the guarantor or the guarantee person who

[30:11]guarantees guarantees Paradise that is a much more deeper much more profound

[30:19]recognition when it comes to the discussion of this title of the

[30:22]Holy eighth Imam why is this area important because today there are

[30:27]many men who have come forward and looked at this Hadith literature

[30:33]and said ways that doesn't sit well in my nothing I don't

[30:43]seem to accept it very well I see yeah that I call

[30:48]Millions go every single year how am I able to explain this

[30:57]I want to look at this particular area in detail because we

[31:01]have many narrations similar when it comes to the visitation of the

[31:04]shrine of saints foreign take you back and make you think twice

[31:25]about certain matters sometimes this is beneficial so that you and I

[31:31]are able to unravel and indeed discuss certain subject subjects in detail

[31:36]so that our conviction becomes stronger there is no doubt also when

[31:39]it does it highlights to us the need to look at these

[31:43]subjects specifically within Akita please understand this in my recent trip to

[31:49]the United States during oahua and alhamdulillah and I see here we're

[31:52]also blessed to take part in the ziara may Allah give you

[32:00]our youth regarding the role of the member and the topics that

[32:06]are discussed when I look at some of the answers of the

[32:07]youth and I'll disc and I analyze what's happening on social media

[32:11]particularly on Instagram what do I see and what did I hear

[32:16]the responses from many of the youth what I say to them

[32:20]what are the subjects that you'd like to hear for example do

[32:22]you know what the response is normally two subjects social issues and

[32:30]spirituality I want you as a speaker or the other to discuss

[32:34]matters that affects me in my life yes these are critical I

[32:40]want to discuss methods related to problems that I face in my

[32:44]marriage problems as a parent problems to do with Society those problems

[32:48]make them impact disgusting no doubt needed I want to get close

[32:54]to Allah teach me ways practical ways I don't have much time

[32:57]tell me quickly how to get to Allah other than that don't

[33:03]worry I remember in America once during the Maharana I was invited

[33:08]to a particular Center so I want to mentioned her name just

[33:13]in case they watch it on I was invited there and all

[33:15]I do when I'm invited for maharan certainly is I study in

[33:20]detail the previous years of majalis and I look at an area

[33:23]that's not being discussed especially also throughout the year if the titles

[33:27]are there I get to the conclusion that that particular Center had

[33:30]not discussed eschatology Hereafter in detail at all but I know this

[33:37]in strength many lectures were on social matters music lgbtq plus plus

[33:41]and so on and so forth so I decided that the series

[33:48]in maharram will be about yes when I began giving this majalis

[34:24]many people have in this particular regard what are the demands that

[34:28]people have what are the things that they feel that they need

[34:33]to become better in their lives these things yes what have we

[34:37]forgotten God doctrines beliefs sometimes we need to go back to basics

[34:44]yes and perhaps in this day and age when age with atheist

[34:51]movements agnostics others are they able to be well-rounded and strong in

[35:00]understanding their beliefs or not some of the youth will say to

[35:04]me you know you know what I'm okay with those things I

[35:06]said to them why they say if there is a question for

[35:09]example which I had a month ago in America after a legend

[35:13]my brother came to me and said my daughter is on the

[35:18]verge of leaving Islam I said why she said because of Pakistan

[35:20]floods she said where is God why is God causing all this

[35:27]yes Pakistan floods why is this happening why is this not being

[35:32]somehow [Music] why is this something that God is allowing for it

[35:40]to happen something notice if you don't give me an answer she

[35:44]will give religion there are many out there who are one who

[35:50]are considering this based on their lack of understanding of some of

[35:54]the key Concepts within teachers within our teachings within the belief system

[36:01]that we have isn't it I'll tell you this is you may

[36:03]disagree but he he will not be able to attain proximity to

[36:08]God without a kind you will not be able to solve your

[36:12]social issues without the basics and the doctrines yes you will not

[36:17]be able to progress in life without having the necessity and the

[36:22]Essential Knowledge that you and I need to eat the member of

[36:27]our office must tackle theological subjects even though they're dry but you're

[36:35]going to tell me about proof of existence of God you're going

[36:37]to go through Noble world you're going to explain this and that

[36:40]give me some nice subjects some juicy subjects to understand our priorities

[36:53]we are falling into the sun look at Instagram what is popular

[36:56]yes what is popular there give me nuggets give me something against

[37:06]what's missing in the lives of the youth yes if I sit

[37:28]therefore the recognition is If today someone comes and says all these

[37:33]are Hadith in your literature that says Jannah is guaranteed if you

[37:36]go for the CR or you go for the eighth Imam Sierra

[37:38]how do you explain how is this possible I don't get it

[37:43]how can Jannah be guaranteed for an individual like this listen to

[37:46]some of these ahadis so that you know how many of these

[37:49]we actually have a Hadith from the holy prophet Allah he says

[38:03]according to this narration anyone who visits me or visits one of

[38:12]my family members I will visit them on the day of judgment

[38:18]I will save them from all of the hardships of the day

[38:25]of God a narration from whom a narration from the Holy Night

[38:29]Imam peace and blessings be upon him this is volume 4 Page

[38:32]585 he says whomsoever visits the grave of my father in Bruce

[38:45]alone then future sins himself yes this is found in urban Volume

[38:54]2 page 246 or 64.

[38:58]he says foreign [Music] all right he comes forward and adds even

[39:45]more narrations yes in this particular regard that highlights that whomsoever visits

[39:51]the Shrine of the imams they have visited Allah then we have

[40:00]what the holy hates Imam in another narration he says alsoever comes

[40:07]to my visitation that's my CR because my Shrine is far yes

[40:12]I tell you I will compensate in three places so that I

[40:23]save them from its hardship when the books are being given to

[40:32]people either to hold on their rights or to their left I

[40:35]will come to them when they pass the bridge of their actions

[40:42]is taking place yes we have these narrations and much more which

[40:48]present to us a very interesting situation yes and that is so

[40:58]highly encouraged that it equals Jannah and Paradise and he is the

[41:07]garden tool of paradise according to very well that we have just

[41:10]listened how do we understand this please Focus so that we can

[41:16]go through a theological discussion in this regard and point to evidence

[41:22]that exists in other practices so that we can see for ourselves

[41:26]where these narrations are pointing towards when an individual tells you if

[41:33]you come home please come home because there is tea this there

[41:39]are two situations that faces you when you go home one situation

[41:45]is you go home and the tea is ready and it's poured

[41:47]for you all you have to do is drink is already there

[41:52]yes or the second situation is you go home and you look

[41:56]at them and says where is the team they'll tell you I

[41:58]said there is tea but I didn't tell you it's already made

[42:01]you go and make it so you go you brew the tea

[42:06]yes you get it ready and then you drink it isn't it

[42:08]so the holama here they say that when it comes to certain

[42:14]actions sometimes there is what is referred to in our literature as

[42:18]what as something which is time and something which is activity what

[42:24]does this mean in Arabic something term means it's complete it's written

[42:28]X dividing means it's based on conditions and the removal of obstacles

[42:32]so in terms of the T example time means yes you go

[42:37]to the person's house T is fully ready for you it's made

[42:41]it's bored you're ready to drink it means no there are things

[42:45]that you have to do to get it ready and there are

[42:51]certain impediments that must not exist for you to have the for

[42:54]example you want to warm the water and there's no electricity yes

[42:58]that's something stopping you from getting there t becoming ready another one

[43:03]is actually what is that for example not enough tea exists for

[43:09]example or there is a vehicle by which you can prepare the

[43:11]tea these are all sharut and what the rough you have to

[43:17]remove the obstacles here the scholars come forward and say these particular

[43:23]narrations what do they say they say when an individual goes towards

[43:28]the crofit they are potentially what in general but they must fulfill

[43:37]certain conditions and they must remove certain obstacles very important for us

[43:43]to understand because it's very easy someone comes on YouTube and begins

[43:45]to attack these the wire well it doesn't make sense what is

[43:49]this but we have to take a step back and be able

[43:53]to explain yes what are these conditions that must be fulfilled for

[43:57]you and I when we go for ziara and what are the

[44:01]things that needs to be removed so that we can be of

[44:06]those who are taking Paradise as promised the first condition is this

[44:12]is in reference to the relia of baitly Musa the holy prophet

[44:18]Allah [Applause] in a famous narration listen to this the prophet himself

[44:29]is the individual who is saying that ziara to the shrine of

[44:36]Imam part of me will be buried for ourselves foreign that must

[45:14]exist as a prerequisite for this to take place because normally Iman

[45:18]and happy literature is in reference to the following of the other

[45:23]secondly the Hadith of the Holy Night Imam what does it say

[45:26]s of their status now someone says to oh this we hear

[45:36]so many times I must have my arifa of the station and

[45:39]the status of the Imam but give me practical how do I

[45:44]apply this so that I can be of the people of gentleman

[45:47]when performing the Siara of the Shrine of the eight holy Imam

[47:06]has made it obligatory for you to be obedient to them that

[47:19]Allah and that I must be obedient to him say for twice

[47:25]yes can I be included in that definition of the people who

[47:30]have the conditions in order to be of the individuals of Jannah

[47:33]how do we instead this is an example that's given if somebody

[47:38]enters the room and they see a line there are two ways

[47:42]to look at this there is an individual says looks at the

[47:48]line and says that is a lion I agree and there is

[47:53]another person who comes in and says that's a lion and runs

[47:57]for it to save themselves because they know they're in danger that

[48:00]womb there is a landlord of the light attacking them there are

[48:04]some of us who are of the first category yes I believe

[48:10]that Cinema but they don't put words into action what does that

[48:14]mean that means in their lives are they obedient to the Imam

[48:18]or not are they individuals who follow what the Imam has said

[48:24]we should do or not say but you know you know we

[48:29]are sinners we sometimes follow and sometimes don't it's their offers can

[48:34]we somehow become of those individuals who have the malefa through the

[48:39]yes you and I are able to struggle to work as hard

[48:46]as we possibly can but there are things that we need to

[48:51]remove which are obstacles to make us attain that status please understand

[48:56]its obstacles so if someone the next time especially to the only

[49:01]eighth Imam as well as to say it is to keep these

[49:06]in mind these are clearly mentioned to a Hadith and commentary of

[49:09]Allah the first obstacle is during ziara itself to God forbid practice

[49:18]Disobedience of God what do you mean somebody who is performing ziara

[49:25]but during the food time is backbiting someone else some ladies who

[49:29]are in ziara who are not in the shrine but their hijab

[49:33]is all over the place yes somebody for example when it comes

[49:40]to outside the CR or in the shrine itself yes having what

[49:44]having bad intentions of other human beings water for example and so

[49:50]on and so forth these are these impediments exist during that's the

[49:56]verse that has to be removed so when we go for ziara

[50:00]we have to be extra careful because these must not exist so

[50:06]that we lift those restrictions because what they are truly important number

[50:12]two is Disobedience of the Imam and ultimately Allah when we return

[50:20]back from Seattle no doubt this is even more difficult isn't it
