[18:57]people to be uneducated they want people to be ignorant because when

[19:02]someone is educated they're going to ask questions there to ask why

[19:06]but there are some people that come and they say no no

[19:09]no don't ask all you have to do is just believe just

[19:11]follow just do but that's not what they have a to us

[19:17]yeah babe the quran rasool allah Ameer al-mumineen they empowered the people

[19:23]and the Muslims by educating them by giving them the power of

[19:27]knowledge because once you're educated you're going to be able to think

[22:06]today imam zain al-abideen is a very respected figure even in the

[22:10]sunni school of thought because he is the son of amendment for

[22:20]had a very important role and he was what a teacher to

[22:26]some of the some of the most important scholars that they accept

[22:30]and imam zain al-abideen alehissalaam through his knowledge through his wisdom he

[22:35]was able to educate people one day they came and they told

[22:40]him that one of the scholars and the scholar he is a

[22:42]scholar that is very respected very accepted and the sunni school of

[22:49]thought today and especially amongst the Sufis they told him that this

[22:54]man al-hasan al-basri his name is Al Hasan al Basri he says

[24:51]and eradicate slavery through purchasing slaves now someone will say how did

[24:59]he purchase slave and his eradicating slavery because he is empowering them

[25:03]what he did was he would buy he would purchase slaves and

[25:08]then he would teach them he would educate them they would learn

[25:12]the language they would learn the religion they would be empowered then

[25:16]one year later he would free them in the way of Allah

[25:20]and this is how imam zain al-abideen honest and I managed to

[25:24]educate society by purchasing slaves he educates them he empowers them and

[25:33]then he lets them go in the way of Allah after one

[25:35]year and some of those slaves they became the anima of their

[25:42]time they became scholars that we today we look ghandar hadith and

[25:44]we look up to them but they were slaves at one point

[25:49]in their lives and then they were freed one of the narrators

[25:51]during the time of imam zain al-abideen he says when one year

[25:54]there was a drought so we all came out to do salat

[27:12]the house of imam zain al-abideen he said I went in the

[27:15]house of imam zain abena I realized that he was one of

[27:19]the servants one of the slaves in the house of imam zain

[27:22]al-abideen alayhi salam he says I went to the Imam and I

[27:26]told him I have a favor I need I need to ask

[27:29]you for a favor the Imam told him what do you want

[27:31]he says I want one of your slaves the Imam told him

[27:37]you could have anyone that you want so he says can you

[27:40]bring out the slaves he said they all came out except that

[27:45]one man he didn't come out I looked at the faces I

[27:49]said no I want another one so he found out the Imam

[27:53]realized who he was talking about he called that man he came

[27:56]and then he said yes I want him I want him the

[28:00]Imam said you could have him that slave he told the Imam

[28:06]allow me just one more night in your house I want to

[28:08]spend one more night I want to spend it with the Imam

[28:12]of my time this man he says I went home the next

[28:15]day I came and they told me that that man has died

[28:20]he had asked Allah subhana WA Ta'ala to take his soul so

[28:26]that he take his soul so that he does not leave the

[28:28]house of imam zain at harvard inari salaam so the narrator he

[28:33]says I began to cry and I became very sad because I

[28:35]wanted to free him I wanted to take him so that I

[28:39]could serve him so that I could honor him but he did

[28:42]not want to leave the house of imam zain al-abideen on it

[28:45]so this is one thing that they a man did another thing

[28:50]another tactic of imam zain al-abideen is that he would empower people

[28:56]but he doesn't have the number he can't go and speak in

[29:01]the masjid of the prophet so he empowers people through the door
