[0:00][Applause] [Music] ald Muhammad [Music] as you all know that we are
[1:00]beginning a new Islamic month in the Islamic lunar calendar and that
[1:06]is the month of rajab Shah according to most Scholars tomorrow is
[1:11]the first day and we have begun tonight because in the the
[1:18]month begins at the night we have begun we have entered the
[1:23]month of rajab and the month of rajab is one of the
[1:31]most important months in the Islamic calendar and according to narrations a
[1:37]Hadith from he says that the month of rajab is the most
[1:45]important month and it has the greatest sanctity the greatest in the
[1:51]eyes of Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala he says that the month of is
[2:01]the month of Allah subhanahu wa taala and shahan which is the
[2:08]month that follows is the month is the month of and Shah
[2:17]Ramadan is the month of the umah of the Muslims so being
[2:25]that we have begun the month of rajab it's good to know
[2:34]the merits and the value of this holy month that we are
[2:37]in we know in the Islamic lunar calendar there are four months
[2:42]out of the year that are called the months and the reason
[2:50]for that is because before Islam even before before the religion of
[2:56]Islam these months the month of rajab the month of the month
[2:59]month of and the month of mam these months they were considered
[3:08]holy and Sanctified months and which the only one that is not
[3:15]connected with those three months is R these months they were considered
[3:21]meaning that fighting and War and bloodshed was forbidden even amongst the
[3:27]Arabs who used to fight every day and every month and throughout
[3:33]the whole year they were fighting during these times during these four
[3:38]months they would stop fighting this was something that was before the
[3:42]religion of of Islam once introduced the religion of Islam he kept
[3:46]this because this was a good culture a time where there's no
[3:52]fighting said yes we will keep this and the Quran talks about
[3:54]them in the Quran and the reason for this is because the
[4:00]and mam they are surrounding the month of Haj theah is the
[4:07]month of Haj so before Hajj there are people traveling and after
[4:10]Hajj by the time of muharam they're still going back to their
[4:13]Town they're going back to their cities so there were different tribes
[4:18]some of them that were fighting one another they would Gather in
[4:21]Hajj and that was a time that the Arabs they said we
[4:27]will lay down our arms and we will not fight and the
[4:32]month of rajab it is a holy month because it is a
[4:37]month that the is recommended during this holy month so it is
[4:40]also a time where it is recommended to travel and perform the
[4:46]so therefore it was the month of Haram a Sanctified month and
[4:50]the religion of Islam kept us and there is a lot of
[4:53]Praise on the month of Raj tells the Muslims about about the
[5:00]benefits of fasting in the month of rajab one day fasting in
[5:07]the month of rajab has great reward it removes and it brings
[5:12]the the Hellfire many years away from this person not this does
[5:20]not talk about distance he talks about years just like right now
[5:24]when scientists and astronauts they talk about the Stars they say they
[5:27]are light years away s alai he says that he who fasts
[5:33]in the month of rajab he will be one year's distance away
[5:40]from the Hellfire and then he who fasts three days in the
[5:44]month of rajab Heaven Paradise will become waj upon this person of
[5:48]course there are many other conditions but this is just to note
[5:54]the importance of fasting during the month of rajab and there's a
[5:58]reason for this the reason is that we are preparing ourselves for
[6:02]the month of Ramadan today we begin preparing ourselves for the month
[6:09]of Ramadan just like any exercise you know when you have to
[6:14]work out they don't tell you go ahead go and start benching
[6:16]you know how many 300 lb 100 lb 200 lb you don't
[6:22]go and right away you start something very heavy or right away
[6:26]the doctor tells you you have to work out and you go
[6:29]and you run 10 miles no one's going to be able to
[6:32]do that you start step by step and this is why we
[6:35]have the month of rajab and then we have the month of
[6:38]shaan so that physically our body prepares to fast for the month
[6:45]of Ramadan and more importantly spiritually we are ready the month of
[6:50]rajab has a lot of the month of rajab has a lot
[6:54]of duas and inshallah tonight we will conclude with one of the
[6:59]of the beginning of the month of rajab is the Z of
[7:02]IM Hussein inshallah we will recite it together however there are many
[7:09]there are many duas that are recited during this day during this
[7:13]holy month one of them is the Dua that was recited in
[7:16]between prayer for this is a beautiful Dua that is recited during
[8:08]the month of rajab recite it between the prayers after the prayers
[8:14]this is the season where we prepare ourselves spiritually to get closer
[8:18]to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and the month of rajab is also
[8:24]a month that has many occasions inshallah throughout this month we will
[8:29]discuss and we will talk about the occasions the holy occasions during
[8:32]the month of rajab one of which one of the greatest of
[8:35]these occasions is the birth of on the 13th of however there's
[8:47]many more occasions to the first of rajab is the birth of
[8:52]IM Muhammed the second of rajab is the birth of IM and
[8:58]this month is the is the martyrdom of IM the wa of
[9:08]and there are many important many important uh days the of the
[9:16]Prophet is during the month of rajab so it's a month that
[9:20]is filled with spirituality it's filled with Dua and it's filled with
[9:24]Islamic occasion so inshallah we will see you all here during the
[9:27]upcoming programs where we talk about the specific dates of the of
[9:32]the month of rajab now the first of rajab is the birth
[9:40]of IM Muhammad Al Bak this great IM who during his time
[9:49]was the era of spreading knowledge during the time of IM Muhammad
[9:57]Bak it was through him that the they found the opportunity to
[10:05]begin spreading the knowledge because the Father the father of IM is
[10:10]IM and you see that every every IM they Liv during a
[10:17]circumstance they live during an environment where they had to deal with
[10:21]that environment they are all imams Allah subhana wa tala says they
[10:30]are imams that Allah subhana wa ta'ala ordained for the people that
[10:37]Allah subhana tala brought for the people they guide by the order
[10:43]of Allah subhanahu [Music] waala these are these are the IMs of
[10:54]theit so each IM they had their own way for example you
[10:59]see see IM Z the father of imak he lived in an
[11:06]environment which was very different from imak and IM sad IM Hussein
[11:09]he lived in an environment which was very different from imadi and
[11:12]imanari each IM they had their own environment IM Z his way
[11:21]of spreading the message his way of spreading the religion was through
[11:25]Dua he would stand in the Masjid and he would begin doing
[11:31]Dua that was his way of teaching people teaching people who Allah
[11:35]is because when you read the Dua of IM Z you get
[11:39]to know Allah subhah wa ta'ala and you get to know how
[11:41]to speak to Allah subhah wa tala IM Hussein he had his
[11:46]own challenges and he had to deal with them through his own
[11:49]way and that was through the shahada IM Hassan he had his
[11:53]own challenges and he had to deal with them through his own
[11:58]way and IM during his era ER was the era the time
[12:01]where Ben fell they lost power and a new government a new
[12:09]Islamic government was emerging and that was the government of Ben Abbas
[12:15]the abbis they came to power bah after they killed IM Hussein
[12:19]the Muslims they revolted against them there was revolutions after revolutions rebellions
[12:26]after rebellions that they began to lose power they began to lose
[12:30]power until during the life of IM Muhammad their the government of
[12:38]bani collapsed and a new government emerged and that was the government
[12:43]of Ben Abbas of course Ben Abbas they came with the excuse
[12:46]that we are giving back the H we are giving back the
[12:53]rule to the but once they took the rule once they took
[12:56]the power they began to also kill and persecute the imams but
[13:03]there was an ERA between the fall of a government and between
[13:06]the rise of another government there was an era of Freedom if
[13:10]you will a type of freedom for IM and for Imad and
[13:17]this is why we see that imak and Imad they are the
[13:23]imams who we the followers of the we take most of our
[13:25]teachings this is why they call us ja we take most of
[13:30]are teachings from these two imams today if you open the books
[13:32]of Hadith you will find that probably the greatest portion probably 70
[13:40]75% of the Hadith they are narrated by imak and IM and
[13:49]these were the imams who were teachers of many scholars you know
[13:57]Abu hanifah Abu hanifah it is known that he was the student
[14:02]student of IM however he was also a student of IM Muhammad
[14:06]so it was during the life of imak that he was able
[14:12]to spread the knowledge and this is what told the people he
[14:20]told the people that my one of my grandsons and he mentioned
[14:24]them Name by name he says Muhammad IB Ali IB Hussein IB
[14:29]ALB he is going to be the one that through his life
[14:34]during his life he will be able to break the knowledge he
[14:40]will be able to spread the knowledge and this is what they
[14:42]did you see that the narrator one of theith he says I
[14:47]go into m kuf i enter masj kufa I find 4,000 4,000
[14:54]students sitting in M kufa sitting in sitting in circles and he
[15:02]says I'm walking I hear them saying they're sitting and they're saying
[15:09]this is what I heard this is what I heard from Muhammad
[15:14]this is what I heard from J it was during the these
[15:20]this time it was during this period that these IMS IM was
[15:24]able to spread the knowledge now today given that we are talking
[15:32]about IM Muhammed I want to talk about seeking knowledge and the
[15:37]importance of seeking knowledge because we have to always relate when we
[15:41]talk about the imams when we talk about the stories of the
[15:47]imams of the any incident that took place 1,400 years ago I
[15:50]have to see how do I relate it to my life today
[15:54]this is a very important question my dear brothers and sisters there
[15:57]are many of us who we go we attend the majus and
[16:02]we leave and we don't bring it today how what could I
[16:04]learn today what can I do with this knowledge today my dear
[16:10]brothers and sisters the religion of Islam insists on seeking knowledge like
[16:16]no other religion find me a religion that tells its followers seek
[16:23]knowledge from the Cradle to the Grave find me a religion that
[16:26]tells its followers seek knowledge even if it was in China at
[16:35]that time the time of a travel to China meant traveling to
[16:42]the Moon it was that difficult tell it's like telling someone go
[16:47]to the moon and seek knowledge he tells the people seek knowledge
[16:55]even if it was in China so we see see that the
[17:03]religion of Islam the Quran insists on seeking knowledge in fact the
[17:08]first verse that came down upon what was it read seek knowledge
[17:17]how many times does the Quran say the Quran keeps talking telling
[17:29]its followers telling the Muslims telling the Believers Ponder the greatest gift
[17:36]that Allah subhana wa ta'ala has given us is the power of
[17:39]the intellect the power of the intellect but how many of us
[17:43]use it and what is sad and what is very ironic is
[17:50]that despite the fact that the religion of Islam is the religion
[17:57]that insists on seeking knowledge you find the greatest the highest level
[18:03]of illiteracy where in the Muslim countries you find the highest level
[18:10]of illiteracy arrogance ignorance where do you find that you find it
[18:15]unfortunately in the Muslim countries now of course there are many reasons
[18:18]for this there are social reasons there are economic reasons it has
[18:22]to go with colonialism there's a lot of issues that are that
[18:29]that led to the Muslims being at where they are today but
[18:33]it is a sad reality right now and my dear brothers and
[18:38]sisters today we live in an era where the religion of Islam
[18:42]is constantly being attacked you turn on the TV you hear the
[18:46]religion of Islam is being attacked wherever you go you turn on
[18:51]the radio you pick up a newspaper individuals that want to become
[18:55]presidents of the United States they feel that they have to attack
[19:01]the religion of Islam in order to appease in order to satisfy
[19:04]a big population a certain population they have to attack the religion
[19:09]of Islam so that people will like them and will vote for
[19:12]them why did this happen why are we at this era why
[19:19]is the religion of Islam constantly being attacked it goes back to
[19:23]knowledge you see we right now we're dealing with two main enemies
[19:30]two main diseases two main problems one is the islamophobia and the
[19:36]islamophobic atmosphere that we're living in where there are people who are
[19:40]ignorant of the religion of Islam that are talking about the religion
[19:46]of Islam and then on the other hand you find people who
[19:49]claim to be Muslim people who claim to love who claim to
[19:54]follow the Quran and follow the teachings of the Quran but they
[19:58]do things that make people turn away from the religion of Islam
[20:03]they resort to acts of violence they resort to acts that are
[20:10]unlam and that brings people further away from the religion of Islam
[20:16]what is the common denominator between these two groups of people ignorance
[20:22]you find a person like Donald Trump or a person like um
[20:30]Ted Cruz or Terry Jones or any of these people that attack
[20:33]the religion of Islam and you find someone like Abu Bakr bagdadi
[20:37]or Usama bin ladin or these criminals they have one very com
[20:43]one common denominator and that is ignorance of the Quran ignorance of
[20:48]the religion of Islam ignorance of the teachings of s alai if
[20:51]they were if they had if one of them had knowledge of
[20:56]the Quran and the true Sunnah of they would not do what
[20:59]they're doing so it all goes back to seeking knowledge and this
[21:04]is why the religion of Islam insists on seeking knowledge and learning
[21:12]and it is be it is the lack of knowledge that has
[21:18]led us to where we are today and this is not something
[21:23]new 1,400 years ago he said n two categories have broken the
[21:33]back of the first is a someone who is a knowledgeable person
[21:45]however he's he is breaking the boundaries of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
[21:51]he knows that this is Haram but he gives a fatwa he
[21:57]knows that for example Bloodshed and life is Sanctified in the Quran
[22:00]and the religion of Islam but he issues a fatwa Go and
[22:02]Kill the sh go and kill this group of people this is
[22:09]one and the second group of people that break the back of
[22:17]he says he's a j he's an ignorant person he doesn't know
[22:22]how to purify himself he doesn't know how to do tar he
[22:29]doesn't know the simple AB sees of Islam but he goes and
[22:31]he stands on the m and he tries to teach people and
[22:36]he tries to educate people this is also a disease that the
[22:40]religion of Islam has to deal with and until today we are
[22:47]dealing with this Calamity the Calamity of ignorance all it takes is
[22:55]to seek knowledge so when we look at the religion of Islam
[22:58]we see that the religion of Islam insists on seeking knowledge he
[23:09][Music] says seeking knowledge is a religious obligation it's not something that
[23:17]your parents want you to do it's not something that you might
[23:20]get a good job if you go and you seek knowledge no
[23:26]no no no it's a duty a religious Duty upon every Muslim
[23:28]and here he means Muslim men and women it is a religious
[23:36]Duty upon men and women to seek knowledge so seeking knowledge is
[23:44]a religious obligation if you're learning count that as if you're going
[23:49]to the university if you're going to school count that as something
[23:52]that you're doing to get closer to Allah subhana T Allah will
[23:55]reward you because when you seek knowledge this is the beauty of
[24:01]the religion of Islam the religion of Islam is a very logical
[24:03]religion we don't hide away from Facts we don't hide away from
[24:13]science we don't hide away from science and facts objectivity the religion
[24:18]of Islam is not afraid of science you might find other religions
[24:21]that will tell you just believe all you have to do is
[24:26]just believe and you will be saved but the Quran says do
[24:35]they not look at the creation do they not look at the
[24:39]skies do they not look at the stars do they not look
[24:42]at the sun do they not look at the camel look at
[24:43]the camel and how it was created Allah subhana tala gives an
[24:49]example to the Arabs at that time it speaks to them about
[24:54]a camel look at it how it's created how it keeps coming
[24:58]to life isn't this something something where it requires a power it
[25:04]requires someone a Creator to come and create this so the religion
[25:08]of Islam is not afraid of Science and we see that as
[25:14]science advances it keeps proving the religion of Islam as long as
[25:17]they look at it with an open heart but unfortunately today we
[25:24]find that there are certain people in the name of Science and
[25:26]in the name of objectivity they have a grudge against Christianity because
[25:31]Christianity forbade and it stopped science from advancing for many years there's
[25:36]a history with Galileo and many years they stopped science from advancing
[25:41]so today some make it seem like religion and science are on
[25:46]two different pages but we see that the religion of Islam and
[25:50]Science and education and seeking knowledge it goes hand in hand it's
[25:53]together so Allah subhana wa ta'ala tells the Muslims learn and seek
[25:59]knowledge now there are types of knowledge every knowledge is very important
[26:05]to learn go and learn anything there's there is only a small
[26:11]types of subjects that the religion tells you not to learn and
[26:18]these are harmful subjects for example at that time people they would
[26:21]go and they would learn magic magic is not it's not objective
[26:24]it's not scientific it's not a type of science so the religion
[26:29]of Islam says don't go and learn magic or don't go and
[26:34]learn something that will that will bring you away from Allah subhanahu
[26:39]wa ta'ala so any type of knowledge objective knowledge is highly recommended
[26:44]it is accepted but then there is a type of knowledge that
[26:49]is more uh we all have to seek that knowledge right now
[26:52]I don't need to go and learn medicine because alhamdulillah we have
[26:56]doctors here I don't need to go and learn engineering because alhamdulillah
[27:01]we have Engineers here it's good for me to learn there are
[27:05]it's good for at least a few people in society to go
[27:10]and take that role so that they learn and they help people
[27:17]however every single one of us has to pray every single one
[27:19]of us has to fast every single one of us has to
[27:23]get closer to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala every single one of us
[27:26]has to answer to Allah on one day so therefore I have
[27:31]to learn about my faith I have to learn about my religion
[27:34]now you don't need to go and become a much but what
[27:38]you do need to learn is what concerns your daily life for
[27:41]example if you're a business person you have to learn the Islamic
[27:48]rules of transaction because if you don't know the Islamic rules of
[27:52]transaction you might go and you might do RBA you might have
[27:54]interest you might do something that might have Haram in it so
[27:59]we need to learn the rules that pertain to our lives this
[28:05]is an obligation and Allah subhana wa tala says in the Quran
[28:12]it doesn't need all of the to go and learn their religious
[28:18]duties and the religious obligations at that time this verse came down
[28:40]when the religion of Islam was spreading so there were people in
[28:42]this Village there were people in this city there were people in
[28:44]Yemen there were people that were far that the religion of Islam
[28:51]was reaching them so the Quran says that not everyone is required
[28:54]to go and live with so that they could live and know
[28:58]their religion duties only a small group of people let them go
[29:06]learn their religion and let them go back and teach their people
[29:13]so this shows the importance of learning religious knowledge another verse that
[29:18]I mentioned earlier Allah subhah tala the first verse that came down
[29:35]upon it's all about knowledge read learn it is all from Allah
[29:44]subh so one thing that the religion of Islam tells you is
[29:51]that you should not be shy from asking you should not be
[29:56]shy from asking and seeking knowledge this is a religious Duty that
[30:02]is upon us he who seeks knowledge he who takes advice from
[30:06]other people this person will never lose because you're always taking advice
[30:12]from other people in a Hadith the Imam says what is the
[30:19]value of a question now some some people might think that the
[30:24]person who asks question this person is silly this person is annoying
[30:28]this person is constantly asking questions but look at the Islamic perspective
[30:37]this is from the eth IM of he says knowledge it's Treasures
[30:52]hidden treasures and the key to these Treasures is what the question
[30:58]the only way that you are going to be able to open
[31:02]and take the treasures is through asking a question is through seeking
[31:06]knowledge and this is what they say about knowledge it requires seeking
[31:12]you have to seek knowledge and then he says ask may Allah
[31:17]have mercy upon you when you one person asks a question four
[31:25]people will be rewarded he he says the first is the one
[31:33]who's asking he will be rewarded by Allah subhana wa ta'ala second
[31:37]the one that is teaching he will also be rewarded third the
[31:44]one that's listening there are people that are gathering they will also
[31:47]benefit and they will also be rewarded and the fourth the one
[31:53]that loves this type of gathering the one that loves this type
[31:56]of atmosphere he will also be rewarded see how beautiful the religion
[32:01]of Islam is find me a religion that talks about seeking knowledge
[32:05]in this way where four people are rewarded by Allah subhana wa
[32:11]ta'ala when one person asks a question and of course we're talking
[32:17]specifically about Islamic knowledge but any type of knowledge it is also
[32:21]rewarding if you use that knowledge to get closer to Allah subhanahu
[32:27]wa ta'ala there's many types of knowledge that you could use to
[32:29]get you closer to Allah if you're a doctor you could use
[32:34]that knowledge to bring you closer to Allah if you're um an
[32:37]astronaut you could use that knowledge to get closer to Allah if
[32:39]you're an engineer you could use that knowledge to get closer to
[32:44]Allah there's many ways to get closer to Allah subhanahu wa taala
[32:48]in another Hadith he says he came into the mid so Imam
[33:07]he mentions the story he says that he walked into the Masid
[33:10]and he saw that a group of people they were gathered around
[33:18]one person so he said who is this person they tell him
[33:22]this person is he's a knowledgeable person said who what is the
[33:39]so they told him this person is a knowledgeable person he's very
[33:46]high in knowledge he says in what they tell him he is
[33:50]the most knowledgeable person and the Arabs at that time before the
[33:54]religion of Islam they used to really cherish the family lineage I'm
[33:59]I'm from this family this family this family they keep praising their
[34:04]families and the and the uh historical history of the Arabs before
[34:11]the religion of Islam and the Arab Arab poems like the poems
[34:19]of and this Arab poetry so says he says that's a knowledge
[34:32]yes it is a however it won't hurt someone who does not
[34:36]know this if I don't know the family trees of the Arabs
[34:40]it's not going to hurt it's not going to hurt me if
[34:46]I don't know the ancestry of the Arabs before the jahia or
[34:50]the during the time of the jahia or the Poetry before the
[34:52]religion of Islam it's not going to hurt hurt me and it
[34:58]does not what does it add to your knowledge at the end
[35:01]of the day if you do know this what is it going
[35:04]to help you at the end of the day in this life
[35:05]what is it going to help you and in the afterlife knowledge
[35:16]is three you want to seek knowledge it is these three things
[35:23]one Ayah of the Quran if you are able able to memorize
[35:29]the Ayah and not only memorize it you're able to understand it
[35:33]you're able to analyze it you're able to know the of it
[35:41]you're able to truly know it and I there are I there
[35:42]are different verses in the Quran there is and there's the is
[35:50]the foundations of the Quan meaning for example Ayah like you know
[35:57]Muslims recite this verse probably every day every day it is recited
[36:03]but how many Muslims can actually explain what does mean you will
[36:10]find a big group of Muslims that will say Allah will be
[36:14]cited on the day of judgment Allah has a body Allah is
[36:19]this and that and they say bukari mentions bukari mentions that on
[36:23]the day of judgment there will be a group of Believers that
[36:28]will see the face of Allah subhah waala they will see Allah
[36:38]subhana tala now that is this is this explains your but how
[36:48]many people actually know their so am this is one of the
[36:56]knowledge that you have to know because if if you know the
[36:58]AY you will know the you will be able to know Allah
[37:02]subhanahu wa ta'ala better or one of the religious duties prayer do
[37:09]I know how to pray I will meet Allah subhana wa tala
[37:14]one day do I know how to perform my my religious duties
[37:18]or one of the of and then he says other than these
[37:28]this is this is good to know it but this is the
[37:34]root of knowledge this is what needs to be known this is
[37:39]what we all have to have have to seek knowledge another if
[37:52]Allah subh wants to bless someone he wants to honor someone he's
[37:56]going to make this person know his religion because if you know
[38:01]your religion you're going to pass over the you're going to be
[38:07]able to know because you're going to be able to pass the
[38:10]greatest of the tests we have many tests in our lives we
[38:15]have the SATs the acts the gr the many tests throughout our
[38:18]whole life we have to take these are very important we have
[38:22]to study for those we have to learn those the religion of
[38:25]Islam insists on seeking knowledge but the greatest test the most important
[38:29]test that we all have to pass is which one the test
[38:34]of the the test where we will have to meet Allah subhah
[38:39]tala that is the one that we all have to be prepared
[38:42]for and if we know these what said the or the or
[38:49]the what if we know these we will be able to meet
[38:54]Allah at peace and finally finally the imams say that knowledge it
[39:02]requires you to go and seek it see when it comes to
[39:07]R when it comes to sustenance from Allah subhah wa ta'ala there's
[39:11]two types of R there's says he says that there's two typ
[39:19]there's two types of r that we seek or that comes to
[39:25]us there's a type of sustenance where you have to go and
[39:31]work you make money and there's another type of sustenance that comes
[39:35]from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala a baby in the womb of the
[39:40]mother who sends the sustenance does that does the baby have to
[39:42]go and ask and work for the sustenance or Allah subhah wa
[39:48]ta'ala sends it to the child to the baby once a child
[39:50]is born how does Allah subhah wa ta'ala he provides a way
[39:56]where this child is fed as provided is nourished this all comes
[39:59]from Allah subhana wa tala in fact most of our risk it
[40:03]comes to us it's not the type that we have to go
[40:05]and work for it comes to us and there's types of RIS
[40:09]where for example someone an inheritance comes to this person someone comes
[40:13]and gives you a gift you didn't need to work for that
[40:17]it came to you however when it comes to seeking knowledge does
[40:21]knowledge just come to you or do you have to go and
[40:26]seek it the Imam say that you have to go and work
[40:27]for knowledge you have to go and struggle for knowledge you have
[40:33]to go and dedicate time and effort to seek knowledge you can't
[40:36]just sit somewhere and expect knowledge to come to you like and
[40:40]this is what the imams they say this is why the IM
[40:44]he says he says knowledge it's more important it's more valuable than
[40:54]money because money when you use it it finishes but knowledge when
[40:59]you use it what happens it increases and knowledge it brings you
[41:05]closer to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala but money not necessarily for some
[41:11]people yes alhamdulillah there's many people who through their money they're able
[41:15]to get closer to Allah subhana wa tala and there are people
[41:18]through their money they get further and further away from Allah it's
[41:20]as if that that money is a wrath upon from Allah upon
[41:25]them for some people Allah he tests them he keeps giving them
[41:32]money how so that he test them with it so on the
[41:43]birth of Imam Muhammad we should value knowledge and we should know
[41:49]what the value of knowledge is [Applause] [Music] m
