[0:07]and do not argue with the people of the scripture except in
[0:10]a way that is best except for those who commit injustice among
[0:13]them and say we believe in that which has been revealed to
[0:17]us and revealed to you and our god and your god is
[0:19]one and we are muslims to him surah kabut verse 46 and
[0:24]with that being said i would like to welcome everyone to this
[0:27]debate on the similarities between islam and christianity we have two guests
[0:31]here with us the first one is said mohammed bhagava raswini he
[0:36]has completed his house studies in iran and he holds a ba
[0:41]in sociology from the university of michigan ann arbor he is currently
[0:44]a scholar at the islamic institute of america in dearborn heights michigan
[0:47]and he's the director of lahuja islamic seminary and then we have
[0:54]pastor mark anderson he has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and
[0:58]he has studied in eastern europe for four years and he moved
[1:02]to milwaukee and very quickly started to get to know people from
[1:05]all over the world and then he graduated with a master's in
[1:08]christian studies and has worked as a pastor and also he has
[1:13]worked in university international student admissions and advising so today we have
[1:19]eight main questions that both of our guests will answer and then
[1:23]we're gonna in the middle we'll ask if the audience has any
[1:28]questions then they can answer as well so that's how the format
[1:30]is going to be so we can start with our first question
[1:33]um so how do muslims and christians view lady mary and the
[1:38]virgin birth so pastor mark do you want to begin sure [Music]
[1:42]many of you may been may have been on the presentation yesterday
[1:45]so you may have gotten the much fuller answer um in short
[1:50]we we definitely view the lady mary the virgin mary as being
[1:56]a great example within christianity somebody that we can learn a lot
[2:00]from um one thing that that we really emphasize though is that
[2:04]she is she's not the center obviously of of the faith and
[2:09]so therefore we would look more to jesus uh you know as
[2:11]the ultimate example in the ultimate way of salvation um when we
[2:16]look to mary though it's it's it's definitely as one who has
[2:18]followed god who has submitted to god and and and one who
[2:24]who respected him tremendously in every way i begin in the name
[2:33]of the almighty god the lord of abraham moses jesus and the
[2:35]last of them prophet muhammed pastor anderson good afternoon it's my great
[2:46]honor to be with you on this panel my dear brothers and
[2:50]sisters assalamu the beauty of the abrahamic faiths is that they continue
[3:00]the same line that the almighty god revealed to his great prophets
[3:04]and islam is a continuation of christianity from our perspective and that
[3:10]is why we have so many similarities we have so many commonalities
[3:14]now to answer the question how do we muslims view lady mary
[3:20]prophet jesus peace be upon him the virgin birth you'll find that
[3:25]prophet jesus alaih-salaam has been mentioned by his name in the quran
[3:31]more than the name of the prophet muhammad he's he's he's mentioned
[3:39]more than 30 times in the holy quran and that shows you
[3:44]how much respect the holy quran has for this great leader that
[3:49]god gave to humanity so we believe in the virgin birth the
[3:53]holy quran beautifully talks about what happened you know when lady miriam
[3:59]she was visited by the spirit of god he appeared to her
[4:04]and she was in a private area and so she got scared
[4:09]she saw him in the form of a human being so she
[4:13]didn't she did not know who he was so she told him
[4:20]don't touch me don't lay a finger on me if you fear
[4:25]god so he told her i'm not here to harm you i
[4:26]am just delivering to you the news the message that you will
[4:31]be carrying the messiah so she said how is that even possible
[4:35]when i'm not married i have not touched any man he told
[4:40]her this is the word of god this is the miracle of
[4:45]god and don't worry he will be there he will protect you
[4:48]and so lady mary at a young age she's now pregnant now
[4:54]according to the muslim traditions we believe that she was somewhere between
[4:59]10 to 12 years old when this happened pastor and in the
[5:06]christian belief how old was mary roughly when the virgin birth happened
[5:09]typically closer to like upper teens upper teens 16 18 maybe 16
[5:15]to 18.
[5:16]but she was a teenager right we can agree on that she
[5:18]was young she was relatively young and the and the beauty of
[5:25]that you know the these two religions islam and christianity show us
[5:28]that when it comes to being a global example age is not
[5:34]a factor this is a beautiful lesson for our teenagers today lady
[5:38]mary with all her greatness and her purity and chastity she was
[5:43]a teenager yet she had a legacy to leave for humankind god
[5:47]found her worthy of carrying the messiah and that shows our teenagers
[5:52]how much respect god has for them and how much potential they
[5:56]have how they can leave a global impact so lady mary after
[6:02]she you know was told by the spirit of god the angel
[6:07]jibrael one of the angels of god that she will carry the
[6:10]messiah she left jerusalem according to the quran she went east now
[6:15]it's not known exactly where she went some of our narration says
[6:20]she went all the way to iraq to the euphrates river some
[6:24]other areas she she goes east and then that's when she goes
[6:31]through labor when she's going through labor and she remembers how the
[6:34]jews in palestine are going to accuse her because remember she according
[6:38]to at least islamic traditions she was not married now i think
[6:43]in some christian um beliefs she was betrothed maybe to joseph she
[6:46]was engaged she was engaged to joseph now in islamic traditions she
[6:52]was not engaged to anyone so for her to come back pregnant
[6:55]that was a big deal so she was so scared she wished
[7:01]death according to the quran i wish i would have died and
[7:11]forgotten because how am i going to deal with my community i
[7:15]know they will rip me apart for bringing the baby at that
[7:18]point what happened he called on her from beneath her mother don't
[7:27]be sorrowful don't worry allah will take care of everything god will
[7:31]take care of everything and that's exactly what happened he told her
[7:35]if anyone talks to you tell them i'm fasting the fasting of
[7:38]speech not the fasting of food which existed in previous religions i
[7:43]am fasting i'm not going to speak to anyone so when she
[7:47]came back to jerusalem and they told her shame on you who's
[7:50]this baby what did you do what did she say she just
[7:55]pointed to him and he spoke from the cradle according to the
[8:01]quran he said i am the servant of god he's made me
[8:08]a prophet so we have a lot of respect for prophet jesus
[8:11]for lady mary we consider them as sources of guidance and they
[8:17]continued the legacy of abraham and after them prophet muhammad sallallahu alaihi
[8:22]continued that legacy very well said yeah thank you all right so
[8:29]thank you thank you for your responses um the second question is
[8:33]both christians and muslims believe in different forms of intercession what are
[8:36]the similarities um would you like me first are you sure you
[8:42]may take the lead pastor so to start with um how do
[8:49]we see prayer and we see prayer as as being an opportu
[8:50]it's it's the building block it's the the way that we build
[8:56]our relationship with god we we we get to know god we
[8:57]express ourselves to god of course we're not saying something to god
[9:02]that he does not already know but it's it's an expression of
[9:04]what is going on within us and it's also a learning to
[9:08]hear back from what god has to say to us and so
[9:11]when we would go into intercession intercession would be praying on behalf
[9:16]of somebody else and again so we would we would typically pray
[9:21]because we are expressing dependence on god we are expressing our need
[9:23]of his intervention and so then we would we would then see
[9:26]another person for whatever reason that that we feel that we need
[9:32]to to maybe come alongside them in prayer to come alongside them
[9:36]to encourage them so one example is you know like an analogy
[9:39]of if they're carrying a heavy load that they cannot carry on
[9:43]their own it would be coming up alongside them to help them
[9:45]carry that load and so if somebody is is going through a
[9:50]very difficult time maybe spiritually maybe otherwise physically intercessory prayer would be
[9:55]either on my own on behalf of this other person or with
[10:00]that person presenting our requests to god and trusting that he's going
[10:04]to answer that and the reason that i would come alongside is
[10:06]it's an expression of love it's an expression of service and so
[10:12]another a an event in the life of jesus was was when
[10:15]he came to a town and he was in a house teaching
[10:18]and in that same city there was a man who was paralyzed
[10:23]so he literally he he could not move he his arms did
[10:28]not work his legs did not work and so a picture of
[10:30]intercession was that he had four friends and they they picked up
[10:35]the stretcher that this man was on and they they carried him
[10:38]to jesus because they they knew that jesus could could perform the
[10:42]miracle of healing but when they got to where jesus was teaching
[10:47]there was a crowd so they could not get him in and
[10:48]so they actually climbed up on the roof tore it apart and
[10:53]lowered the man down in front of jesus so that he might
[10:56]be healed and so so that's a very vivid picture of what
[10:59]we strive to do in intercessory prayer by just helping to get
[11:02]people to a place where they can encounter whether it's the healing
[11:06]power of god the presence of god the hope of god or
[11:08]whatever else they need thank you the beauty of islam and christianity
[11:17]is that both faiths are heavily based on prayer we recognize that
[11:20]we have a creator god and we pray to him as as
[11:25]the pastor said not because we have anything to say that god
[11:29]doesn't already know but it shows our love to god sometimes when
[11:35]you just make a prayer to the almighty god you get closer
[11:39]to god you feel that he's indeed with you you connect with
[11:43]him in a different way and so islam is heavily based on
[11:49]prayer even the salah we have informal prayer which is speaking to
[11:52]god in any time even if you're about to sleep you're on
[11:54]your bed you can engage in informal prayer and pray to god
[11:58]we also have the beauty of the formal prayer where we stand
[12:04]and organize lines and together we express that love for the almighty
[12:07]god that's a type of prayer salah in arabic means prayer dua
[12:12]means prayer all of these are beautiful dimensions of that human interaction
[12:17]with the almighty god in terms of spirituality so you find that
[12:22]both religions are really heavy on prayer by the way a pastor
[12:29]once i had a talk at a church in canada and so
[12:31]they wanted me to be part of that prayer now you know
[12:36]different churches have different ways of offering their prayer now that particular
[12:41]church part of the prayer was to dance in the prayer you
[12:44]know they sing something and then they're dancing as they're singing it
[12:47]so you know coming from the islamic tradition we're a little bit
[12:51]conservative with dancing let me just put it that way i am
[12:55]too there are some dances okay we're on the same page [Laughter]
[13:01]so i told the reverend he told me do you have any
[13:04]special requests i'm like how am i gonna convince him on this
[13:09]one i told him look it's the month of ramadan i'm fasting
[13:12]i'm low on energy and honestly i don't know how to dance
[13:14]can we kind of modify that he's like sure we could we
[13:19]could do something we could pray today without dancing it worked out
[13:24]really well so both religions are heavily based on prayer and that's
[13:28]a beautiful aspect of christianity and islam now when it comes to
[13:35]intercession the idea of intercession is that god doesn't need anyone for
[13:41]you to go through that intermediary to god a lot of people
[13:45]ask well i can just speak to god directly and ask him
[13:47]directly why do i need an intercessor the intercession from the islamic
[13:54]perspective is based on god's justice and mercy there are people in
[14:02]history there are leaders prophets messiahs who sacrificed everything for god how
[14:09]does god reward them how does god honor what they did one
[14:17]way to honor them for their sacrifices is through intercession that if
[14:20]you want to come to me i'm your lord you can come
[14:22]to me but i also have a gate you come through this
[14:27]prophet for instance prophet jesus prophet muhammad the imams of al-bait these
[14:31]are gates to god because these people didn't sacrifice for god to
[14:36]go to heaven or to get anything materialistic they're above that they
[14:41]know god will reward them but that's not why they sacrificed they
[14:44]sacrificed out of genuine love for god so how does god honor
[14:50]them by giving them the power of intercession you can intercede for
[14:55]people i've appointed you as intercessors so in christianity intercession is really
[15:00]important and um you know the basically the basis of his intercession
[15:05]is jesus in islam we believe in the intercession of all prophets
[15:10]i can seek the intercession of prophet abraham he was pure and
[15:15]chosen by god prophet moses prophet jesus our prophet muhammad the imams
[15:23]of al-bait those whom god has given permission to because allah states
[15:27]in the holy quran who can intercede only the one who has
[15:35]permission from god so intercession means god is honoring those prophets for
[15:44]their sacrifices so god is symbolically saying yes worship me come to
[15:50]me but follow their teachings go through their gate and that also
[15:53]allows us to be close to these great prophets because when we
[15:59]seek their intercession we follow their example we know them more we
[16:02]better understand their teachings that's a great way to connect us to
[16:07]these amazing people that the almighty god has created by the way
[16:12]um another way of answering this objection those who say well i
[16:17]can speak to god directly why do you even have intercession when
[16:20]god decided to speak to us how did he speak to us
[16:25]did god speak to you directly i'm sure nobody you know should
[16:30]make that claim right god doesn't speak to us directly he sent
[16:34]scriptures he spoke to us through prophets right in other words the
[16:41]almighty god is basically saying just as i delivered to you my
[16:48]words through these great individuals prophets messiahs and imams if you worship
[16:53]me you worship me only i'm the one god but you go
[16:56]through the same means that i used to send my word to
[17:01]you that's the beauty of intercession that's the beauty of shafa in
[17:05]the religion of islam allah used muhammad and al-muhammad to communicate to
[17:10]us through the quran and hadith so we use muhammad and al-muhammad
[17:15]as our intercessors with allah we're using the same means that allah
[17:22]subhanahu ta'ala used that's the beauty of it and as the pastor
[17:27]said we have sins sometimes we're burdened with sins we go to
[17:30]god he's the source of all mercy but right but but sometimes
[17:34]you need a co-signer right that's the idea of intercession as well
[17:39]that when i resort to intercession i mention the name of jesus
[17:44]the name of the prophet the name of the imams of allah
[17:49]i'm saying oh allah they are so pure because of that status
[17:52]that you've given them forgive me honor them by forgiving me and
[17:57]that's why the holy quran states when the people oppress themselves and
[18:04]they commit sins they come to you o prophet they have to
[18:08]do two things to be forgiven one is to ask god for
[18:14]forgiveness he is our creator allah they ask allah for forgiveness what's
[18:19]the second condition and the messenger of god also asks god to
[18:27]forgive them that's intercession then they will find allah forgiving that's the
[18:33]beautiful concept of shafa so both religions agree on shafa'a christianity primarily
[18:39]focuses on jesus or whereas in islam we recognize jesus other prophets
[18:44]and the imams of al-bait all as intercessors who can intercede for
[18:48]us in this life and on the day of judgment thank you
[18:54]so another question so both muslims and christians believe that satan exists
[18:58]and yeah he's this and he's real so how do muslims hope
[19:04]he's not here with us in the hall so how do muslims
[19:08]and christians view satan and how do they think how do they
[19:10]combat his negative influences so from the the christian perspective satan would
[19:19]have originally been created as a pure angel an angel who was
[19:25]good and who would have been named lucifer and so he was
[19:27]considered an angel of light but as again as as christians would
[19:33]believe all of god's creatures have the freedom of choice and for
[19:37]whatever reason and this is debated among christian scholars uh lucifer became
[19:43]proud of hearts and in a sense the word is that he
[19:46]sought to set his throne above the throne of god so basically
[19:51]to to promote himself above god and so therefore god cast him
[19:56]out of heaven and and removed him from the place where he
[20:01]stood and so then you know satan ever since has set himself
[20:04]up to oppose god but primarily by opposing god's creation or people
[20:10]and seeking to make a mess out of creation and that he
[20:14]has done pretty well um as as we just we see the
[20:20]the constant wars the fighting and everything else that is so destructive
[20:23]among life so he would be the source of all of that
[20:26]and then what in the end we believe will happen is i
[20:30]guess we we believe that that satan's actually met jesus and tempted
[20:34]him to sin unsuccessfully so he he sought to offer the things
[20:41]that jesus was was after but to do it in an incorrect
[20:45]way and jesus successfully withstood the temptation of satan and at the
[20:50]end of time satan will come back in the form of of
[20:53]some sort of you know of a personality that will gather all
[20:59]of the forces of evil against god many people will actually believe
[21:03]that he is seeking to do good because he will deceive them
[21:05]he will gather all of these forces together to to resist god
[21:11]and to resist the people of god and at that time jesus
[21:13]will come back and with a simple word we'll say it's over
[21:18]and satan will be crushed and he will be dealt with forever
[21:24]and at that point jesus will start the judgments and we'll we'll
[21:28]set up the new kingdom which you know for eternal life which
[21:31]will no longer have any influence of satan whatsoever so then the
[21:36]second part of the question of so what do we do in
[21:40]the light of a world where where satan is alive and well
[21:43]and causing destruction the the best verse in the bible that that
[21:47]simplifies this is it says flee from temptation but resist the devil
[21:54]and so what that means is if you're in a place of
[21:58]of being tempted don't try to resist and say i'm i'm not
[22:00]going to fall into that it rather run so if there is
[22:06]something that is is tempting you whatever you know you have you
[22:09]know a temptation to steal for example rather than saying i'm going
[22:14]to stay here and and and just convince myself not to steal
[22:17]get out of there as quickly as possible and and get get
[22:20]out of reach of the temptation on the other hand you cannot
[22:25]flee from satan he's a little bit more mobile than we are
[22:28]and so therefore when it comes to satan we are to resist
[22:33]and so if if for example i have a welling up to
[22:36]hate somebody in my heart you know i i can't flee from
[22:41]that i can't run from that and and hope it just goes
[22:43]away i need to attack it straight on and say you know
[22:46]what is going on here god forgive me for this what is
[22:51]causing this realizing that that person is is beloved by god is
[22:54]created in the image of god that i am commanded not to
[22:58]to hate but to forgive and to resist that influence of satan
[23:01]and it says that when we resist satan will actually flee from
[23:06]us because he realizes that that he has no power over us
[23:10]that's wonderful from the islamic perspective we believe that satan shaytan iblis
[23:20]lucifer many names right he would mingle amongst the angels before the
[23:25]creation of adam but the quran tells us that he was not
[23:31]an angel he was from the jinn khan jin so he comes
[23:38]from the jinn um pastor would you call them demons in in
[23:41]christian thought yeah so he is the leader of the demons and
[23:46]you know the jinn you know they're like humans in the sense
[23:49]that they have the intellect they can see right from wrong but
[23:52]physically they're different they have very thin bodies and you know as
[23:54]you said they're very mobile so according to the quran iblis or
[24:00]shaitaan or satan was not an angel who deviated because we believe
[24:08]all angels are pure and they stay pure and they always obey
[24:10]the command of god he was a demon but god allowed him
[24:15]to ming amongst the mingle amongst the angels now the name of
[24:21]iblis or satan in our traditions is called azazil you know how
[24:27]you have different names for the angels his name was azazil and
[24:33]then after that once he deviated his name became iblis because through
[24:42]his arrogance and jealousy he caused himself to despair from the mercy
[24:47]of god so one of the names of satan in arabic is
[24:52]iblis which means to despair because he caused himself to despair from
[24:56]the forgiveness and the mercy of god he never asked god to
[24:57]forgive him he just insisted on his arrogance so what happened is
[25:03]after years of worshiping god with the angels he revealed his true
[25:12]colors when god commanded him to prostrate to adam he refused he
[25:18]said no i am better than him he became jealous i worshiped
[25:22]god all these years and suddenly this blob of clay is getting
[25:27]all the attention he couldn't stand that but that was his test
[25:31]that was his trial so that jealousy caused him to fail his
[25:37]test he became arrogant he rejected the command of god god told
[25:41]him this is my command i'm commanding you to prostrate to adam
[25:44]he said no i'm better than him you created me from fire
[25:49]and you've created him from clay and fire is better than clay
[25:52]this was his analogy this was his line of thinking so as
[25:56]a result of that god kicked him out from heaven he was
[26:00]no longer allowed to enter heaven and mingle with the pure angels
[26:06]of god imam ali alayhi salaam teaches us learn from what happened
[26:11]to iblees for so many years he worshipped god but because of
[26:16]one moment of arrogance he failed his trial learned from that and
[26:22]so we are to learn from the experience of satan some people
[26:24]ask if god is so pure and just why does he allow
[26:28]for satan to exist why would you allow for evil to exist
[26:31]god doesn't do anything evil so why did he create satan why
[26:36]did he allow him to exist it's for the purpose of that
[26:41]trial just like when you take a multiple choice exam there's a
[26:46]question four answers to truths from out of these four only one
[26:49]is right the others are wrong who put those wrong answers who
[26:53]put them the teacher the professor why for what purpose why do
[26:57]you put evil answers in a test right because anything that's wrong
[27:01]that's false you know you could say it's a type of evil
[27:05]why would you put you know wrong information in a test to
[27:09]test you that's the whole point to train you so god allowed
[27:14]satan to exist after he became arrogant even though god could have
[27:18]just annihilated him he's god he's all-powerful god chose to keep him
[27:25]existing in order to try humanity many times we claim i claim
[27:28]i'm good i love justice i love god show it i'll put
[27:32]you to the test earn it train yourself when you train yourself
[27:36]you earn something that's the beauty of this life trial so then
[27:43]satan made a deal with god he told him keep me until
[27:47]the day of judgment give me the powers let me do whatever
[27:50]i want god says i won't keep you until the day of
[27:54]judgment i'll keep you until the fixed day yawmin now god doesn't
[28:01]tell him exactly what that day is but he tells him on
[28:05]a fixed day i'll give you time a lot of time but
[28:06]before the day of judgment your time will be up if you
[28:11]repent you do good i'll forgive you god has always opened the
[28:18]room the door of forgiveness to to to satan if right now
[28:22]satan if right now satan asks god to forgive him and he
[28:26]changes his behavior the almighty god will forgive him in fact there's
[28:30]an interesting narration by the way it wasn't just jesus that satan
[28:33]would try to mess with according to our scriptures every single prophet
[28:37]he would try to tempt them or try to make them deviate
[28:40]so one day one of the prophets of god he manages to
[28:46]convince somehow satan to repent satan tells that prophet what do i
[28:55]have to do now to repent so he waits for revelation the
[28:57]revelation comes god tells the prophet tell him as a starting point
[29:02]go now to the grave of adam and prostrate i commanded you
[29:07]you missed that obligation you have now go and do that sujud
[29:13]and then we'll give you a new slate satan looked at the
[29:17]prophet he told him when he was alive i didn't prostrate to
[29:19]him now that he's six feet under you want me to prostrate
[29:24]to him forget it i'm not doing that but basically god genuinely
[29:28]gave him many chances to repent many chances till the day of
[29:35]judgment till the day that he is living here on earth he
[29:37]has a chance to repent but because of that jealousy because of
[29:42]that arrogance he doesn't want to repent so he made a deal
[29:44]with god you know keep me alive give me powers i will
[29:47]try to drag everyone to hell with me god told him no
[29:53]not my righteous servants you don't have power over them people who
[29:56]want to follow their evil desires and follow you okay you know
[29:59]it's a trial do whatever you want but my servants who are
[30:05]connected to me who pray to me who recognize me as their
[30:08]lord who seek my help they're sincere you have no authority over
[30:15]them try your best do whatever you want i will protect them
[30:18]and i will save them so that that is our trial now
[30:21]one of the tactics of shaytan is that he whispers to us
[30:24]as the quran states now that whisper means look be super cautious
[30:32]be very alert satan will come through discrete ways ways that you're
[30:38]not really expecting that's the idea behind the whisper it's not something
[30:41]loud that you'll quickly notice so all don't ever let your guard
[30:48]down you never know from which corner he's going to tempt you
[30:51]some people say you know i'm not a materialistic person i don't
[30:55]really care about money and these things and okay that's not how
[30:58]satan is going to pull you he'll find another way some people
[31:01]it's with money some people is with power some people it's with
[31:06]lust some people is with jealousy there are different ways that he
[31:09]tempts us so make sure you know what your weak spot is
[31:13]because that's where satan comes from it's discreet just like a whisper
[31:19]and that's why my dear brothers and sisters the beauty of the
[31:22]quran the very last chapter of the quran chapter 114 surat nas
[31:26]the phonetics of the surah the way every verse sounds indicates that
[31:32]it's discrete it's a discrete whisper because the theme of this chapter
[31:37]is the whispering devil who discreetly whispers to you now when you
[31:45]read this verse uh pastor even if uh you know you're not
[31:50]familiar with arabic just notice how the verses sound in arabic nasa
[32:01][Music] [Music] even if you have no clue what i said what
[32:18]did you notice here that s sound right these are called whispering
[32:24]letters in arabic allah uses these letters in this chapter just to
[32:33]alert you be careful shaytaan will use very discreet ways so you
[32:39]have to never let your guard down always be prepared it's a
[32:44]daily struggle it's a daily battle now some of you might think
[32:47]this is silly but it's really effective that positive self-reinforcement every morning
[32:52]when you wake up challenge satan tell him look i know today
[32:57]you want to bring me down you want me to fail but
[32:58]you can't because i'm connected to god just say that in the
[33:03]morning see how that day will be allah sometimes we think satan
[33:07]is more stronger than god he's just a creation of god now
[33:12]to conclude this question the pastor referred to the end of times
[33:16]and what happens to satan according to our scriptures when this the
[33:21]two saviors when they emerge which is the descendant of prophet muhammad
[33:30]and prophet jesus we believe that these two will come together to
[33:35]bring justice on earth so when the mahdi appears and when jesus
[33:42]comes back we believe that both of them will slay satan they
[33:45]will actually kill satan so he's out of the way now you
[33:50]just have your you know desires and temptations to work on that
[33:53]the trial of god doesn't end however it becomes a lot easier
[33:58]with satan out of the way so our belief is that before
[34:00]the day of judgment he will be killed by the mehdi and
[34:06]prophet jesus peace be upon them
