[0:07]smellin rahmanir raheem so la la la rasool allah salallahu alayhi allah
[0:18]liberty can mow gloomy in so la la la que amo la
[0:28]Bob Dena ya shaheed every be a model uma Carabella yeah late
[0:41]anna kannamma I come sadity fana fo Xephos and a beam illuminates
[0:47]your modulus and enlighten your hearts with a loud silhouette for Muhammad
[0:52]Ali Mohammed Ahmed why am I met respected brothers and sisters assalamualaikum
[1:01]warahmatullahi wabarakatuh when it comes to the topic of our children the
[1:07]Holy Quran clearly mentions two points point number one allah subhana allah
[1:12]says alma LOL balloon Xena told hayati duniya Allah says that our
[1:18]children our wealth are the source of our pride in this world
[1:21]and they are the adornment of this world they beautify life for
[1:27]us and that's why it is one of the best and greatest
[1:30]benefactions of allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala that he gives us what that he
[1:34]gave us children and that's why you see the Arabs in LJ
[1:38]alia before Islam they used to take great pride and their children
[1:41]and that's why when a father would walk in the streets he'd
[1:45]have five of his sons walking on one side the other five
[1:47]on the other side and what you would find is when the
[1:52]people of the jahiliyyah when they fought rasool allah amongst the things
[1:55]that they boasted about was having lots of children they told rasulullah
[1:59]hey rasool allah we are better than you why because we have
[2:03]more wealth than you and we have more money than you or
[2:05]I Luna no actor oh my ln wada this is there boasting
[2:10]to rasulallah about it that we have more children more sons than
[2:13]you and thus we are better than you and that's why you
[2:16]find many people days what many people they show off their money
[2:21]other people they show off their children like a ninja Helia and
[2:25]likewise when rasool allah was sent in islam vasila also emphasized on
[2:28]the same point that your children are a source of pride for
[2:33]you such that the hadith of rasulullah sallallahu alehiwassallaam says tanika houghton
[2:37]asalu en neo by hibah come on Oh Mel p.m.
[2:42]the holy prophet said get married and have children bring children lots
[2:45]of children why because I will boast about you on the day
[2:51]of judgment iris ooh la la meaning what meaning that we Muslims
[2:53]were like the children of Rasulullah and the more Rasool Allah has
[2:56]the more that will make him proud and greater and the eyes
[3:02]of other individuals so it is recommended that we have more children
[3:06]and that's why you find that the hadith mention that Imam Amiral
[3:10]manin alehissalaam he had as many as 28 children in my milk
[3:16]album alehissalaam he had as many as how many 37 children so
[3:19]all of this one indicates that our children are a source of
[3:24]our pride and there are blessings from allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala but as
[3:28]they say there is no blessings without strings attached to it and
[3:32]that's why this very breast blessing from Allah at times it can
[3:36]turn into what at times it can turn into a curse against
[3:39]me and that's why the second thing Allah says in the holy
[3:41]quran about our children is what he says inama umm al lado
[3:46]come my lucuma i will add your comfort he says be careful
[3:51]yes your children are a blessing for you a benefaction a favour
[3:53]from Allah but be careful how you raise your children because your
[3:57]children are a fits in the fitna means what they're a test
[4:02]from Allah Allah tests me with my children it gives me these
[4:05]children and he tells me be careful how you raise them because
[4:08]at times when we raise them in the wrong way like i
[4:10]said this child which is a blessing turns into a curse turns
[4:14]into a nightmare and how much problems this child gives me so
[4:17]allah is telling us that our children are a responsibility make sure
[4:21]that you take care of them and you raise them in the
[4:25]right way and that's why he says annamma my lucuma i will
[4:28]add to come futuna how many parents do you know do I
[4:33]know they struggle so much because of their children and especially when
[4:36]they reach the teenage years how many fathers and mothers do I
[4:40]know that they have sleepless nights because of the problems of their
[4:43]children all these problems because they did not raise their children in
[4:50]the correct way and they have all these headaches after what after
[4:56]the teenage years and that's why you find that Islam encourages us
[5:00]that when you raise your children make sure faith is a part
[5:03]of what is a part of the upbringing process because many people
[5:08]you find many parents when it comes to taking care of their
[5:12]children and bringing bringing them up they worry a lot about the
[5:15]physical needs the food the shelter education health they worry a lot
[5:23]about that and most parents they take care of that but many
[5:25]parents you find when it comes to their children spiritual needs they're
[5:29]indifferent they could care less you find some parents are more concerned
[5:33]about the cavity of their child than they are about the EEMA
[5:37]and the faith of their children whether they were a job or
[5:39]they pray or they come to the messages are sainya they know
[5:43]Allah they know doesn't matter as long as what as long as
[5:45]physical the physical needs are there that's all I care about so
[5:50]the question is here as a father or mother listening now or
[5:53]inshallah one day for the younger ones you will be parents one
[5:56]day why should I bring my child up you know in a
[6:01]way in which faith is a part of the upbringing process why
[6:05]should I care as long as well as long as I give
[6:06]them food i buy them what they want the best school best
[6:10]help that's enough why should I also worry about their Iman their
[6:14]faith their spiritual needs now besides the fact that as a father
[6:20]as a loving father or mother I should cater to the needs
[6:23]of my children and my child doesn't just have physical needs our
[6:26]children have spiritual needs and as a loving father a mother I
[6:31]should cater to that knee too because there's my chill at my
[6:34]child every human has their physical needs and they have a spirit
[6:37]what about their spiritual needs so as a loving parents I have
[6:41]to cater to this but in addition to that listen carefully brothers
[6:44]and sisters if I raise my child to be a practicing Muslim
[6:50]a devout god-fearing Muslim this will work for my benefit as well
[6:54]how you see when it comes to raising our children there are
[6:59]two ways in which we benefit from our children if we raise
[7:03]them in the Islamic way I the father benefit let alone how
[7:05]he will benefit he'll be practice I the father and the mother
[7:10]will also benefit two ways the first way that I will benefit
[7:13]from my children if I raise them in the right way as
[7:17]Y is how is that all parents when it comes to raising
[7:20]their children they have to fears their first fear is that what
[7:27]they raise this child they love this child so much they spent
[7:29]so much time raising the child they sacrifice so much for the
[7:31]child few days ago I spoke about the parents and how much
[7:35]they sacrifice for us they spent so much money on us and
[7:37]then what happens and then once they turn teenagers then they'll enter
[7:43]the teenage years many children they begin to rebel against their parents
[7:47]they no longer listen to their parents they begin to disrespect their
[7:50]parents and this is a fear that many parents have I raised
[7:52]you so many years I loved you I showed you I gave
[7:56]you everything and now you rebel against me especially here in the
[7:58]US when they enter the teenage years they begin to rebel against
[8:03]their parents this is a fear that many parents have now when
[8:06]I raise my children the Islamic wait do I have this fear
[8:11]or no no why remember we mentioned the speech about parents there
[8:15]is no religion in the world that stresses on the position of
[8:18]parents like islam such that the hadith says member the the verse
[8:24]not the Heidi the verse in the Quran says fella top allama
[8:26]off the Quran says it is haram to tell your parents off
[8:31]and off as the least sign or expression of dissatisfaction and disappointment
[8:35]don't even tell off to your parents when the pollen is teaching
[8:38]my children don't even say off to your parents do you think
[8:41]my children will disrespect me but I have to raise them loving
[8:45]the power on I have to tell them about the Quran some
[8:47]parents they never even tell the children about the Quran make sure
[8:51]they read the Quran they understand the Quran they love the Quran
[8:54]they love allah once you connect your child to allah allah so
[8:56]pano china will make sure that your child never disrespects you because
[9:01]the Holy Quran speaks so many verses about respect appeared even if
[9:03]your parents we said the Quran says even if he's a mushrik
[9:06]he's an idol worshipper you still have to respect your kids your
[9:10]father is a Christian a Jew you still have to respect your
[9:14]mother is an atheist you still have to respect her yes you
[9:17]don't listen to her in matters of faith but you respect her
[9:21]when I bring my child up with an Islamic background one of
[9:24]the most important islamic teachings is a respect for parents so teach
[9:28]them islam islam teaches them what respect for parents so i will
[9:32]not have to worry about my child being an ungrateful son ungrateful
[9:35]daughter this is the first fear that we have and I could
[9:39]assure that i will not be what will not face this fear
[9:44]by bringing them up bringing them up islamically the second fear that
[9:48]many parents have is that once their children begin to grow they're
[9:51]afraid that they might want they might they might enter into drugs
[9:54]as I spoke about this our communities now how many times I
[9:59]hear parents I hear other people speaking about how plagued our community
[10:02]is where the drugs are young ones going into drugs and most
[10:05]of the times it begins in the schools unfortunately this is the
[10:07]first thing and the second thing is into crimes no pot no
[10:12]father mother wants to be called by the police station we found
[10:14]your son stealing or doing something you know illegal or we found
[10:19]marijuana with your child or he's 15 16 and he drinks alcohol
[10:21]no father mother wants to hear that so this is the second
[10:25]fear that we have that my child will go into crimes my
[10:28]child will go into drugs and other immoral behavior once again how
[10:34]do I make sure that my child does not go into that
[10:36]you don't have to tell your child don't make sure you connect
[10:41]them to Allah make sure that they are devout practicing Muslims they
[10:44]know the Quran and in that way they will never go near
[10:47]those things do you know why because their fear of God will
[10:51]be there deterrent because they love God and they fear God they
[10:54]will never go close to crimes close to a moral behavior close
[10:56]to drugs not because baba and mama said don't do but because
[11:03]Allah said connect them with Allah Allah is everything for you even
[11:06]if he wants to do drugs his parents aren't looking but he
[11:11]knows a lot looking he won't do it so make sure you
[11:12]plant within your children the fear of Allah and you have to
[11:17]do this one since they're young they're small if they have that
[11:21]fear of Allah will be there deterrent from what from going into
[11:24]this m.o.b so this is the first way I benefit from raising
[11:28]my children the Islamic way how number one they won't rebel against
[11:32]you because Islam stresses and emphasizes the importance of parents and number
[11:35]they won't go near what the crimes and the immoral behavior because
[11:40]they fear Allah that's the first way you benefit from your children
[11:43]if you bring them up Islamic the second way we benefit from
[11:45]them is how the second way we benefit from our children if
[11:51]we bring them up slama Quay is that anytime your child will
[11:56]do a good deed you will benefit as well how the hadith
[12:02]says the famous hadith says at da law ll kya kar le
[12:07]he what does that mean anytime you guide someone to doing something
[12:10]good for example I tell someone brother why don't you pray brother
[12:13]why don't you you know help the poor and that person because
[12:17]I told him encourage them he gives to the poor not only
[12:19]will Allah reward him he will reward me too why because I
[12:22]was the one that encouraged him if I call her brother I
[12:24]tell him come to them as you this tonight and because of
[12:27]me because I told him he comes Allah will reward me as
[12:29]well because I have encouraged someone to do something good imagine if
[12:32]your child you bring them up in a good way all the
[12:35]good deeds that they do all the good things that they do
[12:38]who taught them that the mother and the father correct every time
[12:41]they do something good and society they help someone poor they for
[12:45]example help someone with their time with their connections with anything every
[12:50]time they help someone in the community in the father and the
[12:52]mother they will benefit even if they're in their graves I could
[12:58]be dead in my grave I see the angels come they say
[13:00]there's a new reward for you I see how I I never
[13:03]did anything extra they said your son just did something good today
[13:05]and you're gonna get the reward so it's never lasting my child
[13:12]will have 50 years after me he does a good deed and
[13:15]I will benefit from that and that's why the hadith says of
[13:19]the prophet Adam Adam Adam and a pomelo who in lemon fella
[13:23]if you die there's no more good deeds for you if you
[13:25]want to do good deeds do it while you're alive there's three
[13:27]exceptions the only three times in which you're in your grave and
[13:32]you could get reward how he mentions three things i'll only mention
[13:35]one because i don't have time to speak about the others it
[13:39]says well well Adam sila honey at all if you have a
[13:41]good child does good deeds not only does he do good deeds
[13:46]what but he also what but he also does do up for
[13:49]you and that's why I mentioned a few nights ago as a
[13:52]grateful son and daughter I always have to do dua prayer for
[13:55]my parents whether they are alive or dead but especially if they're
[14:00]that always do that for them do good deeds for them islam
[14:03]teaches us that always do there are for your children for your
[14:06]parents and do good deeds for them you see how much I
[14:11]benefit from teaching my children to be 12 to have an Islamic
[14:13]behavior because a part of being a good Muslim is to respect
[14:18]your parents is to do good deeds for them is to do
[14:21]the art for them and this is the greatest investment that you
[14:23]can do a we all love investments that's why some of us
[14:27]invest in the stock market others they invest we're in real estate
[14:30]others in merchandise because you just relax and the money comes in
[14:34]correct the greatest investment for you is your children anything they do
[14:38]you benefit anything good they do you benefit but unfortunately of course
[14:42]anything bad they do and if it what you're if you're responsible
[14:44]you didn't teach them better then of course you will also be
[14:46]responsible for that so look at how what a beautiful investment our
[14:51]children are teach your children to be good practicing Muslims and everything
[14:56]they do you benefit all our investments brothers and sisters like I
[14:59]said once we die they're done but your child even after you're
[15:02]dead anything good he does Allah will reward you as well and
[15:08]that's why we have to always what we have to always do
[15:09]to out for our parents brothers sisters I mentioned this a few
[15:11]nights ago the Holy Quran says what beer Hama Hama come out
[15:16]of be honest a lira ya allah have mercy on my parents
[15:20]and the same way that they were merciful with me when i
[15:23]was a child have mercy on them whether they are dead or
[15:27]alive but especially if they are dead visit their graves do good
[15:29]deeds for them you see all the encouragement that islam teaches us
[15:33]to respect and do good for the parents so it's a beautiful
[15:37]investment for me so raise your child in the Islamic way and
[15:41]you're the one that will benefit you you let alone the child
[15:45]himself of course he will benefit but you the father the mother
[15:50]will benefit but this will not come for free brothers and sisters
[15:53]to have a good practicing child this will not come easy don't
[15:57]think that this will come by just leaving them in the public
[16:01]schools well I the public schools they're not teach our children to
[16:04]respect parents I want to publish I did not hear once in
[16:08]my life the teacher even in middle school even I respect your
[16:11]parents love your parents maybe you'll find some teachers but it's rare
[16:16]parents in our society don't have that important prominent position it's all
[16:21]about me this is how selfish me and my friends the TV
[16:26]will not teach our children to respect us the parents it is
[16:29]you the parents that have to teach them and plant them it's
[16:33]Islam and you don't have to teach them that directly I don't
[16:35]have to come into my son and tell him respect me know
[16:38]if you bring him up in the Islamic way if you bring
[16:42]them up in in a way in which he loves the Quran
[16:45]the Quran will tell him to respect me see how beautiful that
[16:47]is you serve Allah you do what Allah tells you a lot
[16:51]is everything else for you just connect them with a las upon
[16:54]a hotel so we have to make sure that we spend time
[16:57]on our children but there's our sisters just like in your business
[17:00]in my business if I want a successful business I have to
[17:02]spend time on it correct you can get a good successful business
[17:06]if you don't care about it if you don't spend time and
[17:08]you know put time and effort into it likewise if you want
[17:13]good children you have to spend time on them so many parents
[17:15]they spent so much time on their businesses in their personal lives
[17:19]and their children are being raised by the streets and the public
[17:22]schools and the TV and then when he's called from the school
[17:24]and he has done something bad he says why what did i
[17:28]do wrong or he's called from the police station or he's called
[17:30]from someone or he hears about what the evil things his childhood
[17:35]his son and daughter are doing he says why what do you
[17:37]mean why you never took the time to raise your child in
[17:41]the correct way you're so busy in your personal life and your
[17:43]what and your work and your business I know so many wealthy
[17:51]people masha'Allah millions but they have so much headaches from their children
[17:54]because while they were busy building their empire their business empire their
[18:01]children were being raised in the streets in the public schools I
[18:06]know of a specific person very good person the father himself he's
[18:09]a very good person he's a very devout person he's every day
[18:12]he's at the masjid very very humble very very kind generous but
[18:17]he didn't raise his son because he doesn't have the time every
[18:21]week he has a problem either it's a legal problem his son
[18:24]doesn't he does something or it's a moral problem or it's a
[18:29]financial problem he just wants more and more in many ways his
[18:31]father's money because he did not raise his son in the correct
[18:36]way and that's why the Holy Quran teaches at a Las panel
[18:38]to anna says the believers they do this dog well Idina Oh
[18:44]Luna rabana had lena mendez whoa gina was the retina for what
[18:47]i own i want ya allah i want to ask you that
[18:52]if i have children offsprings that i want you to give me
[18:55]in them the comforts of my eyes and the joy of my
[18:57]heart i want comfort I don't want headaches if children are just
[19:02]headings then why should I bring children bring children as long as
[19:04]you raise them in the right way so that they give you
[19:08]joy they make you happy so that you can boast about them
[19:10]so that you they are a source of pride not a source
[19:14]of you know your misery and embarrassment in the society but like
[19:17]I said that does not come for free and that's why brothers
[19:20]and sisters there are three important steps that we have to take
[19:25]in order to make sure that we can create those children that
[19:28]we can create that spirit in them now I will not have
[19:33]time to finish all of them that's why part 2 of my
[19:34]lecture I'll finish it tomorrow inshallah i'll just mention the first step
[19:37]step number one if i want to raise good children that give
[19:41]me the joy of my eyes in the comfort of my heart
[19:45]the first thing that you have to do as parents is you
[19:48]have to develop a friendly relationship with them you see and this
[19:53]is especially with the fathers I what I have witnessed with many
[19:56]fathers is that he lives with his son in the same house
[20:01]but he knows nothing about his son and the son knows nothing
[20:04]about the father why because the father is so busy in his
[20:07]work and the child is busy in the school and with his
[20:11]friends so there's complete strangers to each other the only common denominator
[20:13]between them is they live under one house the father is so
[20:18]busy leaves at seven comes back at six he's so tired he
[20:21]wants to have lunch he wants to watch some TV some phone
[20:25]calls and then he's tied once it has no time for his
[20:28]son his fun doesn't even know him his daughter doesn't know they're
[20:31]strangers and the problem that this creates when you don't spend time
[20:37]with your children and this especially children as they grow up in
[20:42]the teenage years not as babies and their teenage years the problem
[20:45]this creates what this creates a barrier between me and my son
[20:47]you see there are so many children they're not comfortable with their
[20:51]parents he doesn't tell his father anything why because there is a
[20:57]barrier because he never sees his father and the only involvement some
[21:00]up some fathers have with their children's what number one if he
[21:05]does something bad he rebukes him and number two he bosses him
[21:11]around go get me some water and go good that's it but
[21:12]he doesn't chat with him he doesnt sit to speak to his
[21:16]son to ask him would you do in school today yes if
[21:18]he's told that he failed he did something bad here he gets
[21:23]involved only in the bad things when for example good things happen
[21:25]in his life or just every day to day activities doesn't know
[21:28]what's going on because he doesn't have timing you we're not saying
[21:31]he's doing it intentionally he just doesn't have time I have no
[21:34]time for my son and daughter I'm too preoccupied with my business
[21:37]in my other life and that's why it is essential brothers and
[21:43]sisters that as a father and a mother we spend time with
[21:45]our children when you sit on the table lunch dinner if you
[21:49]even have dinner with your children speak to them ask them get
[21:52]to know your who's your son what does he like do you
[21:55]know why he most of our children like to their friends more
[21:58]than us because his friends know everything about him but me I
[22:03]don't know anything about the stories I tell him they're boring therefore
[22:06]my age the stuff that I talk about he it's not appealing
[22:10]to him because I'm always thinking mine on my mind until at
[22:17]my mindset so go in their mindset speak to the be a
[22:19]friend to them I know some parents they take their children out
[22:22]to have to have lunch that this is excellent from time to
[22:25]time once a week take them out be a friend to your
[22:29]fault to your son to your daughter for the mothers to your
[22:32]daughter only in this way the barrier will dissolve your child will
[22:35]be a friend to you do you know brothers and sisters that
[22:40]in the US the US has the highest rate of prisoners in
[22:45]the world the most country in the world that has prisoners is
[22:48]America correct it's the richest country America it's probably has the most
[22:53]technological advances that the best military and also has bad things and
[22:57]also has the highest rate of inmates prisoners I think once I
[23:04]read maybe two million prisoners in the US now 11 million sorry
[23:08]11 million prisoners in the US that's what that's like more than
[23:10]I don't know is it one percenter almost 1% of the population
[23:15]less than 1% point five percent do you know what's the leading
[23:18]this is all studies by universities you know what's one of the
[23:21]leading factors to prison why do all these people go to present
[23:29]one of the most things that lead people to prison if you
[23:31]read about them is the absence of a father figure in their
[23:37]family read about those inmates most of them have one thing in
[23:39]common they didn't have a father figure in their life their father
[23:42]either had died when they were children or that father was never
[23:48]involved in their life or maybe he they were divorced parents and
[23:51]the father just left and was not involved in their lives most
[23:54]of those inmates when they lose their fathers this is what happens
[24:00]it loses a sense of responsibility a sense of reality and they
[24:03]are led into gangs and crimes and drugs and so on and
[24:07]so forth I read in one study by one of the universities
[24:08]I said in one of the states in the u.s.
[24:11]there's a juvenile detention center it said ninety percent they did a
[24:15]study ninety percent of those inmates and these are what these are
[24:20]probably high school students juvenile detention center ninety percent of them grew
[24:25]up without their fathers ninety percent either their father were divorced or
[24:29]their father what their father is dead or whatever ninety percent of
[24:34]them they were led into crimes do you see how important for
[24:38]the human being in order for him to you know to go
[24:44]straight to behave and how important it is for him to have
[24:47]a father figure in his life and another study i read that
[24:53]the rate of teenage pregnancy do you know a problem that we
[24:56]have in society now is teenage I remember once I was giving
[25:00]a lecture in one of the state's here in the US a
[25:00]mother comes to me and says we have a big problem in
[25:03]our family what do we do what is it my daughter is
[25:07]12 years old she's pregnant pregnant and it's getting worse and worse
[25:11]day after day I read in the study it said the rate
[25:16]of teenage pregnancy is up to eight times higher and those families
[25:19]where the father is not there up to eight times higher just
[25:22]take out the father from the family the whole family is destroyed
[25:27]so this all shows us whether sisters that we have to make
[25:30]sure that we were there for our children we have to be
[25:33]the role models for our children we have to be there for
[25:34]them an average American you know how much the average American mother
[25:40]spends time with their children the children the school children not the
[25:45]small children average mother spends 13 hours a week this is google
[25:48]you'll find all of this on the internet an average mother spends
[25:51]13 hours a week on her children and the father even were
[25:55]seven hours a week so basically one hour a day 23 hours
[25:58]he's with his friends in school and sleeping and by himself and
[26:03]on the internet and just one hour a day the pair this
[26:06]is not enough brothers and sisters this is not enough and one
[26:10]of the great that's why i always say one of the greatest
[26:11]problems and you know i said we have to develop a friendly
[26:15]relationship with our children one of the biggest obstacles to this you
[26:20]know what it what what what is that technology technology brothers and
[26:24]sisters this the iphone or samsung whatever whichever one you have this
[26:32]is becoming a great barrier to what to the to the family
[26:35]relationships technology is smart but do you know what what it's doing
[26:38]it's creating dumb people everything we rely on technology everything our children
[26:44]come back from the school what do they do they go into
[26:47]their rooms take out the iPhone or whatever device they have they
[26:51]put the headphones this is zoom out for four hours listening to
[26:55]music surfing the web social media Facebook Twitter Instagram what's that they
[26:59]live in their own world because of YouTube because of that because
[27:02]of this social media so we have to make sure that we
[27:06]are now speak more about this tomorrow we have to put some
[27:08]limits on this technology and it's not just the young ones this
[27:14]is a problem even of the older generation sometimes you're having a
[27:16]conversation or you're sitting in a gathering and everyone's on their iPhone
[27:20]everyone's on their smartphone and sometimes you speak to certain people and
[27:24]he's and he's you know he's on his phone yes and he
[27:25]pretends like he's listening to what he's reading his text messages so
[27:31]it's getting you know beyond annoying we take our phones everywhere some
[27:33]people and they go to the bathroom his phone is with him
[27:35]when we sleep the last thing we do we're sleeping we have
[27:39]our iphones and front of us and then you know sometimes it
[27:41]falls on our on our face injures our face huh you know
[27:45]you're the matter that's happened to probably everyone here and then we'll
[27:48]be four and then when we want to sleep we put it
[27:49]under our pillow this is how we have this is the attachment
[27:55]that we have developed to these phones and one thing that this
[27:58]has done to us is what not only has it no destroyed
[28:02]the relationship so the real relationship the real friendships but we no
[28:07]longer know how to speak to each other I can't tell someone
[28:08]I love you I have to tell him I have to send
[28:12]those emojis I can't say oh this was a funny joke I
[28:15]have to write Lowell sometimes it's even more severe ROFL ruffle which
[28:18]is all you note which is a lie we never see someone
[28:21]rolling on the floor laughing but anyway this is this is created
[28:26]what this has created a gap in our and our youth brothers
[28:29]and sisters why because they all they know how to do is
[28:34]interact through text messages keep that away speak speak to your father
[28:37]speak to your mother speak to your friends so this is a
[28:40]big problem by the sorcerer's that we have in our community we
[28:44]have to build that relationship with our children and the way to
[28:48]do it is take some time spend it with your children one
[28:51]hour a day is not enough were lying but those are sisters
[28:53]like I said the public schools they're not going to teach them
[28:58]the essential matters that need to be taught TV look at TV
[29:02]how corrupt it has become so worthy gonna learn if I'm too
[29:07]busy the mother is too busy work work work work work take
[29:10]some time out of work you'll live trust me you'll live it's
[29:14]not like you're gonna die out of poverty if you just take
[29:18]one extra two extra hours make sure that you have those activities
[29:21]with your children all these statistics that I mentioned all these studies
[29:24]they are all mentioning and highlighting one thing without the father being
[29:30]involved in the child's life that likelihood of the child going into
[29:38]crime going into drugs the likelihood of the girl being pregnant at
[29:41]a small age meaning immoral behavior will be much much much much
[29:45]much higher and then when we're so away from our children and
[29:50]then we hear a bomb explode you know my child is pregnant
[29:52]or you know for example doing drugs or drinking alcohol I come
[29:55]say why what did i do wrong you are not involved in
[30:00]your child's life so this is the first make sure that we're
[30:04]involved in our children's lives and especially the teenage years when my
[30:09]child is what 15 16 have a friendly relationship with your take
[30:12]them out like I said go to Starbucks go have ice cream
[30:15]with them make sure that there is no barrier between you and
[30:18]your son and daughters this is number one as I mentioned there
[30:21]are two more important steps that we need in order for us
[30:27]to raise good Islamic children good devout children that we can benefit
[30:31]from later but I don't have time because I have to read
[30:33]the most liebe so i will continue insha'Allah tomorrow now I transition
[30:40]to tonight mostly ebah we go to Carabella remember I mentioned a
[30:45]few nights ago that it was the night of ashura Imam Hussein
[30:49]alehissalaam he gathered his companions he told them if any one of
[30:52]you wants to leave Leave don't be ashamed don't be embarrassed because
[30:56]the enemy's want to kill me they don't want to kill and
[30:59]we said nobody left after he said that there was a young
[31:05]boy 13 year old boy that came to Imam Hussein that was
[31:08]awesome I banal Hassan awesome the son of imam hassan imam hussain
[31:14]xin fu he also heard his uncle telling all the Companions if
[31:16]you stay with me you're all gonna get killed tomorrow so he
[31:20]came to his uncle Imam Hussein and he told them yeah I'm
[31:23]our oak tell a naive and I da well I also be
[31:27]killed tomorrow can you imagine your nephew 13 year old child as
[31:30]you will I be killed tomorrow can you tell him yes Imam
[31:34]Hussein knew that he will be killed tomorrow because those enemies those
[31:37]animals they even killed the six month old child of embassy so
[31:41]this is 13 of course he's gonna get killed he knew he
[31:43]will be killed those enemies had no mercy in their lives and
[31:48]if I'm saying what should he tell him yes you're gonna get
[31:50]killed imagine imagine if you have a may God for a better
[31:54]nephew that the doctor said he has a fatal terminal disease and
[31:56]he's gonna die tomorrow and then he asks you uncle well I'd
[32:00]item or can you tell him yes you just don't have the
[32:01]heart to tell him yes so Imam Hussein can't tell him yes
[32:05]he wants to test his patience he wants to test his faith
[32:08]he asked him a question he tells him Rockefeller motor under ki
[32:14]bony he tells him and how is it that you perceive death
[32:17]are you afraid of that he wants to see how he sees
[32:22]death look at the answer of an awesome such a beautiful answer
[32:25]he gives his a Allahu Akbar this answerable awesome resonates till the
[32:30]day of judgment we learned lessons from this small answerable what did
[32:34]he tell members saying and he was an oral he was an
[32:37]orphan because when he was shot was a child in Manhattan he
[32:40]tells his uncle Elmo yeah I'm doona column in a lesson he
[32:45]says if I die for you Oh her saying if I die
[32:49]for you sacrificing my life for you it is sweeter than honey
[32:52]I am honored to give my life room he's 13 years old
[32:57]how do you raise such a children well I spelled millions of
[33:00]dollars on your children you can never plant that in them with
[33:05]money this will only come through what through the love of Allah
[33:08]the love of a debate this level of wisdom that a 13
[33:11]year old child says if I die for her saying this is
[33:13]sweeter than honey for me the hadith says Imam Hussain when he
[33:19]heard that answer he took L pass him and he hugged him
[33:21]and they began to cry the Day of Ashura came all the
[33:28]companions were killed and many of the relatives of Imam Hussein from
[33:32]the men were killed and class him saw that I unit Ichabod
[33:36]was killed the companions were killed now he wants to go and
[33:39]fight and make his uncle proud he goes to mom for saying
[33:43]he tells him my master for saying please give me permission to
[33:46]go and fight these enemies of Allah Imam Hussein seizes an orphan
[33:49]he's 13 how can I let him go in flight and when
[33:53]your mom hasn't died he entrusted this child would be told him
[33:57]a person to take care of his child how can i send
[33:58]him to the battlefield to die I cannot do that you told
[34:02]them I'm sorry cause him I cannot let you go and ask
[34:04]him he was so heartbroken he was so disappointed he wants to
[34:08]go and fight he want in a corner in the tent he
[34:12]just began to cry and crying I tell you remembered one day
[34:15]that they told him your father has left you a whale with
[34:20]a letter did not open this until the day comes in which
[34:22]you think this is the worst day in your life a day
[34:25]of a great calamity he says this is a day so he
[34:27]always carries it with him he opens that letter finally for the
[34:31]first time he sees it's a letter of imam hassan his father
[34:33]to imam he's so happy he quickly takes it to memphis saying
[34:38]he tells her my dear uncle this is a letter from my
[34:40]father to you read it the mom has a man / saying
[34:43]he opens the letter he sees it's the handwriting of imam hassan
[34:46]he remembers his brother I said he begins to cry and then
[34:50]in a tc's imam hassan is telling him in ampere say my
[34:51]dear brother was saying on the day of ashura this is years
[34:55]before i show up on the day of ashura i will not
[34:59]be there to fight with you but my son i said he
[35:03]will be there and i want you to give him permission to
[35:05]go and fight and i want you to accept him as my
[35:10]sacrifice for you mohawk imam hassan years before Carabella ashura he's saving
[35:15]his son awesome so that when he grows he fights for his
[35:18]brother a saying on the day of ashura so a man /
[35:22]saying he sees that he has known you no other option he
[35:26]has to send them he goes and tells us and my dear
[35:27]nephew I have given you permission to fight but I'm embarrassed of
[35:33]your mother how can i just send you to the battlefield to
[35:34]die when your mother is watching passim says my uncle has saying
[35:37]don't worry about my mother and not on me he added beset
[35:41]neil amateur how to be my mother is the one that put
[35:45]on my Armour she gave me the sword she's telling me go
[35:47]and give your life for herself look at the devotion that they
[35:50]had for imam hussain ali have children wanted to die for imam
[35:56]hussain ali hassan oh so then awesome is so happy he goes
[35:59]he puts on his final armor he farewells his mother he farewells
[36:03]all of his his aunt and all the woman and then he
[36:06]farewells his uncle for saying imam hussain escorts him to the horse
[36:12]now he's 13 years old he can't even mount the horse by
[36:15]himself so am I saying had to help and mount the horse
[36:18]he mounted the horse imam hussain gave him his sword and he
[36:21]went to the battlefield hemi de minimis them one of the narrator's
[36:24]there he said all of a sudden we saw a young child
[36:28]it was all men man fight not children we saw a young
[36:32]child 13 14 years old his face was a lot like a
[36:34]shining moon he came with all of his courage and valor holding
[36:39]the sword to fight the enemies he came out and while he
[36:43]was reading these this poetry saying and Joong Ki Rani if Anna
[36:55]National Hassan sepa Nabil Mustafa while mota man ha ha ha SE
[37:00]non qu'elle SE a real Mort ahead was that when I said
[37:06]last possible mosey along iqbal he comes out holding his sword with
[37:09]all of his courage and he tells them who he is he
[37:13]tells them I am the son of Hassan I am the nephew
[37:18]of crusade the grandson of rasool allah and i have come to
[37:21]fight you analyse of allah because of what you're doing to my
[37:23]uncle hussain oh you have taken so he goes and he fights
[37:29]the enemies he kills a few of them look at how courageous
[37:31]he was until his sandal that he was wearing it snapped so
[37:37]he bends down to fix his sandal I need them the Muslim
[37:38]says one of the enemies he came and he said allah i
[37:42]will kill this child and i will make his uncle grieve for
[37:46]him he came from behind him any hits and pass him on
[37:48]his head and caused him he was struck with the sword on
[37:52]his head he fell down now remember every time that one of
[37:54]the Companions of her saying he would be hit on the head
[37:58]or he would be killed before that he would cry out one
[37:59]word alaikum assalaam yahoo saying farewell my master surfacing except awesome possum
[38:05]didn't say farewell for saying because he's a child do you know
[38:08]what he said he said a monokini my dear uncle come to
[38:13]my rescue I need you help me all of a sudden Imam
[38:17]Hussein he sees fasten crying for help he falls down on the
[38:19]floor Imam Hussein goes like a lion he kills the killer of
[38:24]El awesome and then he goes by the body of an awesome
[38:26]the narrator says after the dust settled we saw saying allah salam
[38:34]sitting by the body of a possum he took the head of
[38:38]El passion and he placed it in his lap and he began
[38:40]to speak to i'll pass it with the blood all over the
[38:45]body of an us what did he tell them he told them
[38:52]yaala amma canton rd Falacci book oh you Jubal can he says

[39:01]not able to come to the rescue and help you mother let
[39:03]a woman hello Oh Cosmo me on Monday Armitage a new camera
[39:11]mood he says don't worry on the day of judgment their enemies
[39:17]will be your grandfather Rasool Allah and your father imam hassan and
[39:22]then after tysons I'd imam hussain ra and salam he took the
[39:25]body of this 13 year old child and he carried it back
[39:30]to the tent but this time the narrator says that we saw
[39:34]the feasible us and they were being dragged against the floor against
[39:38]the ground meaning imam hussain could no longer stand upright because you
[39:42]have lost so energy he couldn't carry and fascist he took him
[39:46]back to the 10 and he placed him by the body of
[39:51]a lean on a leg bar by the body of all the
[39:55]other martyrs and Shahada aya and then the woman came to see
[39:58]this little martyr this youth young child his mother came she saw
[40:04]passes were beautiful santhosh and he is covered with blood that he
[40:08]has died she threw herself on the body about us and she
[40:11]took from the blood of elkaza then she began to smear it
