[0:11]smelly rahmani raheem alhamdulillahi rabbil alameen o salatu was-salam ala al anbiya
[0:24]even more Oh Celine Habibi ilaha ilallah me in a balloon car
[0:46]seaman Mustafa Muhammad voila labonte abhi na here in column ah huzzah
[0:54]a la fille kita be Helen cream [Music] bismillah alrahman alraheem wa
[1:15]Lavina jaha do phenyl on ahead en mobile animal machine in Siloam
[1:24]Madhwani Muhammad Allah Subhanahu WA Ta'ala honored the human being and chose
[1:39]the human over all of the other creation what differentiates the human
[1:46]being from all of the other creation from the animals from the
[1:51]other creation of allah subhanahu wata'ala two very important gifts from Allah
[1:58]subhana WA Ta'ala differentiates the human being from all of the other
[2:04]creation the first is the power of the intellect the power of
[2:12]the a Kalu and it is through the intellect that you will
[2:15]be able to decipher between right and wrong your intellect helps you
[2:20]choose and make good decisions in life and it tells you what
[2:24]the right choice and what is their own choice and in addition
[2:31]to the intellect a loss of hano attala gifted the human being
[2:35]with free will with the power to choose otherwise the Angels also
[2:44]know right from wrong but the Angels they do what's good because
[2:47]they are ordered by Allah Subhanahu WA Ta'ala however the human being
[2:52]has the choice has the freedom to choose and this is why
[2:56]the human being can reach a potential that is much higher than
[3:02]even the Angels because the Angels they do everything perfectly but they
[3:07]are ordered by a loss of Hana Hana however the human being
[3:11]has the intellect and they could choose they could decipher between right
[3:16]and wrong and second allah subhanaw taala tells the human you could
[3:21]choose you choose your destiny you choose how you want your life
[3:28]to be you take that journey on your own and Allah says
[3:30]in the Quran and nya de na ho Sibylla ma sha :
[3:36]where cavora we have showed you the way we have sent you
[3:40]prophets and messengers and books now it's up to you to decide
[3:47]which path you want to take now it's up to you to
[3:49]decide if you want to be guided or if you want to
[3:54]go on the wrong path and you want to go astray because
[3:58]at the end of the day every single one of us we
[4:04]choose our journey we choose our fat our path in this life
[4:07]and we make our own decisions no one can stand in front
[4:12]of Allah on the day of judgement and say I was forced
[4:14]to do something like this allah subhanaw taala has given us all
[4:17]the freedom to choose in Naha day na ho sabine ma sha
[4:26]: where emma cavora now some people sometimes that journey to make
[4:34]a decision the journey towards guidance it's a very difficult sometimes choosing
[4:40]means that you have to favor one person over another sometimes you
[4:47]have to make sacrifices in your life the early Muslims some of
[4:53]them they had to make major sacrifices in their lives they had
[4:56]to leave their family to come and be with it all sort
[4:58]of Lhasa in La Jolla you are they had to let go
[5:01]of their customs they had to let go of their traditions to
[5:05]be with us sort of masala Mahalo here on this is something
[5:08]perhaps many of us who are born into Muslim families born as
[5:14]the followers of the anted Bates we don't really comprehend this as
[5:19]much because we take this hidaya this guidance for granted but someone
[5:25]who joins and converts or reverts to the religion of Islam or
[5:29]someone who joins the path of the Anna Bates aleyküm selam some
[5:32]of these people they have to make very difficult decisions they have
[5:39]to make very difficult choices first they have to use their intellect
[5:43]to decipher between the truth and falsehood and this is a process
[5:47]this is a very long process for some people and second after
[5:53]you have you know what is the hawk and where's the button
[5:55]then you have to go and make the decision now you have
[6:00]to have the commitment now you have to have the courage there
[6:02]are many people that find the truth but they don't have the
[6:05]courage to be with the truth they don't make the commitment to
[6:09]be with the truth the true victorious ones are the ones who
[6:13]strive for allah subhana wa ta'ala and a lhasa Solanum Edoardo Solana
[6:24]and Allah says in the Quran in alladhina jaha do FINA Lunardi
[6:35]UNAM sabudana those who strive for our path those who strive to
[6:39]Allah Allah will show them the way if your intention is pure
[6:42]and you want to go towards guidance Allah subhana Allah will not
[6:49]only open the way for you but lastly I no doubt will
[6:51]help you in your decision making you just need to be committed
[6:56]you just need to tell yourself in your hearts and your intention
[6:58]that I'm willing to be with the truth I'm not going to
[7:03]be with falsehood even if my family even if my culture even
[7:06]if my nationality even people are going to go against me I'm
[7:09]going to always be with the truth if you go one step
[7:14]to Allah Allah subhana WA Ta'ala will come a hundred steps towards
[7:18]you you just need to make that intention one of the greatest
[7:25]companions of rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa who we want to talk about
[7:30]today is a man who took a very long journey to find
[7:37]the truth a man who went in the pursuit of the truth
[7:39]who went on a long quest to find the hidayah and that
[7:45]was a man who reached such a close position to rasulallah and
[7:49]to the animal bait whereas Allah says he is one of us
[7:57]and this was salman al-farsi salman the persian who became known as
[8:02]salman al mohammed ii salman the one who is from the mohammed
[8:05]ii family this great man salman he reached such high levels of
[8:09]faith why because salman had a very long journey to find the
[8:19]truth salman travelled and he became a slave and he went through
[8:23]such long journey and such a long quest until he found the
[8:26]truth and once he found the truth he was committed to the
[8:31]truth he did not sacrifice the truth this is why what sort
[8:34]of law says about said man he says subhana Allah ordered me
[8:40]to love for Allah who ordered me to love Salman to love
[8:43]abuzer to love and look dad and to love Ali bin Abi
[8:48]Talib Sandman was one of those individuals who Allah orders are sold
[8:53]a lot to love Allah orders Rasulullah to show his love to
[9:01]why because Salman knows the value of the struggle to find the
[9:04]truth many of us my dear brothers and sisters we were born
[9:07]in Muslim families we don't know the value of the struggle and
[9:14]the difficulties to come to the truth this is why we should
[9:18]not underestimate those who come and leave their families and put everything
[9:22]behind to come and join the truth sometimes it's very sad to
[9:28]say this but sometimes we find some converts they come to the
[9:30]Masjid they come to our community and they feel that no one
[9:33]respects them no one knows them no one trusts them and therefore
[9:38]some of them they feel that they don't belong in this community
[9:41]the struggles and the challenges that they have gone through are much
[9:46]more difficult than the struggles of those who were born in a
[9:49]Muslim family that those who were born on the path of the
[9:55]ad libitum Sarah Salman he went on that long journey and where
[9:59]does his journey start his journey starts in Persia where he was
[10:06]born Salman al-farsi Salman was born in Persia he was born his
[10:11]name was Roos bear this was his name and he was born
[10:14]in Isfahan he was born to a family that was known to
[10:21]be servants of a temple of fire worship sir a streams miju's
[10:30]at that time Persia the dominant religion was the religion of miju's
[10:35]the religion of Zoroastrianism where they keep the fire was considered something
[10:41]sacred so they have to keep the fire running so his father
[10:44]is a servant in that temple he comes and he keeps feeding
[10:49]the fire he keeps giving the fire so that the fire continued
[10:51]to burn so he wants to teach his son Salman to also
[10:56]do the same thing to go in that path to continue feeding
[11:02]the fire and giving the fire the fuel that it needs to
[11:05]continue burning so sad man grows up in that atmosphere one day
[11:10]his father he tells him Oh Salman of course his name was
[11:14]not Salman at that time and man was the name that was
[11:16]given by the sort of lhasa of mohanty who are he calls
[11:19]him he tells him I want you to go and bring me
[11:21]something so Salman he goes and in the city he's travelling he's
[11:27]going somewhere in the city to bring something for his father at
[11:31]that time in Persia there were some Christians and some Jews that
[11:38]were living in Persia at that time so Salman he's walking and
[11:41]he sees a monastery he sees a Christian Church a place of
[11:45]worship and he hears what they're saying he's attracted to what they're
[11:52]saying so instead of going back to his father he spends the
[11:56]whole day with the Christians and he is gravitated to the faith
[12:02]of Christianity because she sees that Christianity is a religion that somewhat
[12:06]makes sense more than Zoroastrianism and makes sense so he is gravitated
[12:12]to that there are many good things in Christianity the lessons from
[12:17]Jesus the the tawheed monotheism there's a lot of things with the
[12:22]exception of some who say Jesus is the Son of God or
[12:26]some who say Jesus is God other than that the majority perhaps
[12:29]90% of Christianity is the same as Islam most of it is
[12:34]the same of Islam as Islam they have their own fasting we
[12:38]have our own fasting they have their own their own hijab we
[12:41]have our own head job they have their own prayers we have
[12:46]our own prayers of course Selma Salman his mind he was a
[12:49]very bright young man and he wants to go after what's logical
[12:53]so at that time he saw that Christianity is the most logical
[12:56]he spent he stays the night there at night his father comes
[12:59]and he finds out that his father and that his son is
[13:05]with the he takes him and he places him in a Cell
[13:07]he gels him he puts him in a gel and he ties
[13:10]him up and he tells him you are not allowed to go
[13:13]and be with them said man tells him I want to be
[13:16]with the Christians I want to be a Christian it makes more
[13:19]sense to me his father tells him you're not allowed to and
[13:25]he forces him he tries to force him to remain as a
[13:28]Zoroastrian now of course we have a verse in the Quran entitled
[13:31]courtesy Allah says in the Quran la accra half a deem this
[13:38]verse has two meanings one like lime 15 it means don't force
[13:42]religion upon other people this is one second like rýfat Deen it
[13:48]means you cannot force religion upon people even if you wanted to
[13:51]so the first is an order the second it's a it's telling
[13:56]you that you could not force religion upon people Salman his at
[14:00]that time as soon as he heard about Christianity the faith of
[14:04]Zoroastrianism came out of his heart and as much of as much
[14:09]as his father and his relatives and his family tried to force
[14:11]him to believe in that he's not going to believe in that
[14:16]because faith is just like love can you force someone to love
[14:18]can you force someone to hate you can't it's something that is
[14:23]it comes out of you it's something that is within you similarly
[14:28]with faith so now Salman he's tied in the dungeon in the
[14:35]jail wherever he was he sends he manages to send a message
[14:40]to the Christians who were in the city to tell them to
[14:43]come and save him and he believes in what they believe in
[14:48]so they managed to get him to escape now he wears the
[14:52]the clothes of the outfits of a monk a priest and he
[14:57]leaves and he leaves Persia altogether and he goes to Syria he
[15:01]goes to Damascus Sean and that was where the hub of Christianity
[15:08]was at that time so now Salman or his name is still
[15:11]Roos bur his name is not Salman yet but we're just saying
[15:16]Salman Salman he is Damascus and he's learning about Christianity and he
[15:22]spends years and years learning about Christianity and studying under the top
[15:29]teachers the top priests and monks at that time and he's learning
[15:32]from them and of course before the religion of Islam which religion
[15:38]was the final religion that had a prophet Christianity so he was
[15:42]on the religion of right the right to religion at that time
[15:45]and of course Salman according to some narrations now I don't know
[15:51]perhaps there's some exaggeration in them or not there's some narrations that
[15:56]says he lived a very long life an abnormally long life some
[16:00]narration says he lived 300 years some narration says he lived 500
[16:06]years now perhaps there's some exaggeration in this but he lived longer
[16:11]than the average life he lived what we know for sure is
[16:13]that he lived longer than the average person that lives now the
[16:19]number perhaps there's exaggeration in it so he is taking in this
[16:23]knowledge he's taking in the snot from the Christians at that time
[16:26]and then he goes to an area and he goes to an
[16:35]area and Turkey and now see bean and there he sees the
[16:42]last teacher that he's learning under the last Christian teacher that he's
[16:47]learning under and he teaches him he teaches him many signs until
[16:51]that teacher is going to die so Salman tells him what should
[16:56]I do now now that you're dying what should I do he
[16:58]was in the pursuit of knowledge and the pursuit of the truth
[17:05]his teacher tells him now we believe and according to the teachings
[17:10]of Christianity we believe that now and during this time or near
[17:13]to this time there is going to be a prophet that's going
[17:18]to emerge and yet a prophet that's going to emerge in Arabia
[17:22]and he is the prophets that Jesus told us about because even
[17:28]in the Christian books even in the Christian Scripture in literature we
[17:33]believe that Jesus died he told people about Russell of la semilla
[17:36]Hani who are they and the annual kitab the christians and the
[17:41]jews they both knew about rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa and Allah says
[17:46]in the Quran where Carla Reese Abdul Maryam yeah Benny Ezra Allah
[17:50]in near a Sunnah of mahi alaikum assalam Urbania day Yemen Authority
[17:54]well injeel minato rods were my best sure and be rasul and
[18:01]yet team him back this small ahmed and this is in chapter
[18:03]61 verse 6 where isa jesus he tells people that a prophet
[18:10]is going to come after me his name is Ahmed Ahmed is
[18:12]one of the names of rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa in another verse
[18:16]allah subhanaw taala and surat al-baqarah verse 146 allah says and levena
[18:22]i take now Homolka table yah i funa who camara funa abhinaya
[18:29]home allah says those who have the kitab the people of the
[18:33]book they know the signs and the qualities of rasulullah just like
[18:41]they know their own children meaning that the people of the book
[18:45]the christians and the jews they weren't surprised they're monks and their
[18:48]teachers and the scholars from amongst them they were not surprised that
[18:52]there's a prophet that was emerging in this area in fact we
[18:55]believe that why were there so many Jewish tribes living around Medina
[19:02]why did they go and live there they lived there because their
[19:04]prophecies told them that there's going to be a final messenger who's
[19:07]going to be in this area this is why when were sort
[19:11]of lot came and announced many of them believed in him many
[19:14]of them accepted and some of them they said no he's not
[19:18]from the Israelites he's from the children of his my island not
[19:20]from the children of his Haqq and they refused to accept him
[19:24]but they were in that area because they know their prophecies told
[19:27]them that a prophet is going to emerge in this area so
[19:31]now this high teacher he tells Salman he tells him the final
[19:37]messenger the final prophet is going to emerge in Yathrib and he
[19:43]dies Salman in the pursuit of the truth Sandman is a person
[19:47]that does not want to compromise the truth and he knows that
[19:53]there's going to be a final messenger so he goes and he
[19:55]stands he's in an shot at that time or turkey at that
[20:00]time and he wants to find a caravan that will go all
[20:05]the way to yesterday all the way to edges and the deserts
[20:08]he's standing he's looking for a caravan until he finds a caravan
[20:12]of some Arabs he sees that they're going towards that direction he
[20:17]tells them I have some money I have some sheep I have
[20:21]some cattle take me with you and let me be with you
[20:24]so that I go and I see this prophet that's going to
[20:26]emerge in this area so they take his money and they take
[20:34]him and on the journey just before they reach Medina just before
[20:38]they reach a trip they go and they take Salman and they
[20:43]sell him as a slave to some of the Jewish tribes in
[20:45]the area they sell him as a slave to the tribe of
[20:50]Ben Yaakov ah they go and they tell the they tell the
[20:54]people there that this is a slave and he's going to lie
[20:56]he's going to tell you he's not a slave but he is
[20:59]a slave and we're going to sell him to you so they
[21:04]buy Salman now Salman has become a slave when he is finding
[21:06]the truth he's in the pursuit of the truth he becomes a
[21:11]slave and he starts working as a farmer he starts working as
[21:15]a farmer and he starts working with his hand by making Hasse
[21:21]or by making mats made out of straw mats made out of
[21:24]straw from the trees he's working he's planting he's farming and this
[21:27]is his job one day and of course when he's there he
[21:33]became an expert in Judaism as well so he was an expert
[21:37]in Soros realism and then he became an expert in Christianity and
[21:42]he became an expert in Judaism one day he's working and he
[21:47]hears two of the Jews in the area next to him they're
[21:52]saying look at these fools beneath Allah meaning the US and the
[21:56]Khazraj the people of Medina look at these fools they brought a
[22:01]man from Mecca and they're saying he's a prophet of God Salman
[22:04]he hears this this is what he's searching for he's in the
[22:09]pursuit of the truth so he tells them where is this man
[22:11]what happened they tell him get be quiet you're working in your
[22:15]slave you have you have no say in this but now he
[22:19]has this in his heart and the news of Rasul Allah coming
[22:24]to Medina and migrating to Medina is all over the place so
[22:28]cell man he decides to go and test whether or so Allah
[22:34]has really a prophet or not how is he going to test
[22:36]whether or sort of lies a prophet or not sell man as
[22:40]a scholar sell man he knows certain things because in the books
[22:45]of the Christians and the Jews they knew about the signs of
[22:48]rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa LA one of the signs is that this
[22:51]prophet does not accept Siddhartha this prophet does not accept charity second
[22:57]this prophet accepts gifts he accepts a gift but not sadaqa not
[23:01]charity and third he has a mark on his back the Ottoman
[23:07]nabuwa the seal of the prophet hood it's a mark on his
[23:14]shoulder a mark on his shoulder and it could you could see
[23:15]it the Muslims they would see the sign of rasulallah salallahu alaihe
[23:19]so salman he goes and he takes some dates because he's a
[23:27]farmer he has his own dates as well he takes some of
[23:33]these dates and he goes to medina he sees rasulallah or before
[23:37]medina perhaps on Poobah or somewhere in that area and he sees
[23:40]rasul allah he sees him he comes and he tells him I
[23:44]have brought you some Siddhartha I have brought you some charity so
[23:47]he sees that the Muslims they ought all the others who are
[23:52]with the Prophet they all eat they were poor they had nothing
[23:55]they all eat where he sees her sort of law does not
[23:59]eat and then he comes and he takes out from another bag
[24:01]he comes and he says this is a gift this is a
[24:04]gift so he sees that all sort of lie takes and he
[24:08]begins to eat from the dates now Salman as one last clue
[24:13]that he wants to find out he comes and he wants to
[24:17]come and stand behind the row sort of law of course what
[24:19]sort of law knows exactly what Salman is doing solo solo LA
[24:22]was wearing the shirt he comes in he brings it down he
[24:25]brings it down and he reveals the Hat amenable where he reveals
[24:32]the seal of prophethood and right away he says Salman says ashhadu
[24:36]an LA illaha illallah WA ash hadu anna Kurosawa Allah I bear
[24:39]witness that there is no God other than Allah and I bear
[24:44]witness that you are the bearer of the truth you are the
[24:46]one who the Jews and the Christians the prophecies all foretold about
[24:52]you are the prophets you are the seal of the messengers and
[24:54]he believes in him now Salman he wants to come and tell
[24:59]her sort of a story he wants to come and tell him
[25:01]that he was in Persia and he went to the Damascus and
[25:06]then from to Turkey and then he became a slave before he
[25:09]begins to tell him go so Allah tells him should I tell
[25:11]you or you want to tell me and also the lot begins
[25:15]to tell him a story the story of his life so Allah
[25:17]tells him exactly the steps and the phases that he went through
[25:23]and rasulullah tells him your name in our books your name the
[25:27]name that allah has told me what your name is Selman your
[25:32]name is Salman and he became known as Salman now Salman he
[25:39]came he knew about rasulullah sallallahu alehiwassallaam problem what's the problem said
[25:49]man is still a slave said man is still a slave so
[25:54]he has to go back to his slave owners even though he
[25:56]was wrongfully enslaved he wasn't originally a slave he has to go
[26:01]back to the slave owners and he comes and he does something
[26:07]called a Makabe which he tells the slave owner let me work
[26:09]and let me buy myself from you let me work I make
[26:14]some money on the side and I will buy myself from you
[26:19]how much the slave owner tells him you want to buy yourself
[26:23]yes I'll buy you I'll sell you to yourself what's the price
[26:31]300 palm trees 300 palm trees you need to get me he
[26:34]buy him for a very cheap price he wants to sell him
[26:38]for 300 palm trees so sad man goes to Rasul Allah and
[26:41]Rasulullah finds out and there was an effort with the Muslims to
[26:47]help save Salman sort of sort of calls all the Muslims they
[26:50]come and they dig three hundred holes in the ground and then
[26:53]Rasul Allah comes and he tells he begins to plant every single
[27:00]seed he begins to plant every single seed and within a few
[27:05]years these trees they all grew they grew and three hundred trees
[27:12]grew and Salman freed himself now the day Rosell man goes to
[27:15]Rasul Allah is close to the fifth year after the hijra close
[27:19]to the fifth year after the hedgerow he goes and so this
[27:25]means that salman missed the barrel of bed and he missed the
[27:28]barrel of a hurt now it's the Battle of Honda it's the
[27:33]Battle of the azaab where the Muslims were surrounded from both sides
[27:36]from the north and from the south Allah says if Jew common
[27:42]folk become women as Phelim income waves avital ups are wobbly got
[27:47]a loophole Ubel honniger what a Vanunu Belial Vanunu the Muslims were
[27:52]surrounded from the north and from the south from one side the
[27:57]Kafar came the pagans came from Mecca from another side the Jews
[28:00]who had a treaty with the Muslims a pact with the Muslims
[28:04]they broke the pact and they surrounded the Muslims so now the
[28:07]Muslims are surrounded and Allah describes the fear in the hearts of
[28:11]the Muslims if JA you come in folk come women s fella
[28:17]mentum where is agata ups are and the eyes were sticking out
[28:19]out of fear why Bala that renewable homogeny hearts were beating so
[28:24]fast that they reached the throat this is metaphoric speak the metaphor
[28:30]of the Quran what's up on new Nabil of Vanunu and you
[28:33]began to doubt in Allah the Muslims they began to doubt in
[28:37]Allah because of that fear here Muslims don't know what to do
[28:42]from one side they're surrounded from another side here Salman he comes
[28:47]and he teaches the Muslims how to dig a trench how to
[28:50]dig a send up a trench he tells them you dig a
[28:56]trench to surround yourself and you put fire in it now the
[29:00]enemies they can't come at you from every side they have to
[29:02]come from one side and they have to cross the trench and
[29:08]it's very difficult for them so Salman he taught the Muslims how
[29:11]to dig the trench and rasul-allah began to dig the Amir al-mumineen
[29:15]and all of the Muslims they began to dig and they dug
[29:19]a trench around themselves and that's what saved the Muslims that action
[29:23]and also the sword of ali IBN ABI talib when he struck
[29:26]i'm Rubino it and he killed a merabh no it's a Lada
[29:35]I'm edwahii Mohammad so he taught them how to dig the to
[29:40]dig the trench and the Muslims they were saved the Muslims they
[29:48]were saved after they were saved all of the Muslims they began
[29:51]to call Salman a hero it was Salman the hero who came
[29:58]and he did this so now the Ansar they come and they
[30:00]say Salman is from us Sandman is with us the muhajireen they
[30:04]say no sir man is not from Medina Salman is a migrant
[30:08]but he didn't migrated from Mecca he migrated from Persia so they're
[30:12]saying he's from us he's from the muhajireen what sort of law
[30:14]says he's not from you and not from you Salman Amina Allen
[30:20]bait Salman is from us the idle bait and this is one
[30:26]of the beauties of Islam where Islam does not differentiate between an
[30:29]Arab and a non Arab a black and a white people from
[30:34]all backgrounds they are welcomed in Islam and not only in Islam
[30:38]rasulallah says Salman Amin Alan Bates so Salman became a very close
[30:45]person to Rasulullah sallallahu aleyhi wa la a very strong believer and
[30:49]a sort of like a man made them brothers he made the
[30:57]Muslims brothers so he made Salman the brother of Abu Dharr al-jaafari
[31:00]where he tells a Buddha I made you brothers with Salman but
[31:07]you have to listen to Salman you have to listen to Salman
[31:10]why because Rasul Allah appreciates the value of madatha Salman has a
[31:14]very long journey to find the truth Salman he went and he
[31:19]was a Zoroastrian he became a Christian he lived with the Jews
[31:21]he read the books he was a scholar he was a Lama
[31:25]he was one of the ulama according to the narrations he tells
[31:27]them you have to listen to him and there are some stories
[31:32]between Salman and a Buddha one day Salman is sitting with a
[31:35]Buddha and a Buddha and and Salman they're hungry so cell man
[31:43]he comes and he take he gives a Buddha a piece of
[31:44]bread but this bread was so hard it was so dry that
[31:50]a Buddha had to break it with his knees in order to
[31:52]eat it he was dipping it in the water and he was
[31:54]eating a Buddha he said if we had salt this would be
[31:59]such a good thing if we had salt with this with this
[32:05]bread so Salman he goes and he buys salt and he comes
[32:07]and he gives a booth or some salt to eat with his
[32:11]bread a Buddha says this is kana this is the sign of
[32:16]being content when you're eating only salt and bread this is the
[32:19]sign of being content Salman tells him if you were content you
[32:21]would have ate bread by itself so this is the this is
[32:26]it shows the levels of Madhava they're both great individuals they're both
[32:30]believers they're both minion they're both content someone who's eating salt and
[32:34]bread is definitely content but Salman has a higher level Salman has
[32:39]a higher level of his mattify and there are narrations that praised
[32:43]Salman and one hadith imam zain and Abidine alayhi salam he's talking
[32:47]about the Tatia Tatia means where you conceal your identity to preserve
[32:53]the truth and to preserve the life of the imam and preserve
[32:58]yourself the amounts they ordered their followers to practice the PIA because
[33:01]if they don't if they come out in public and say something's
[33:02]they're going to go not only kill the companions but kill the
[33:07]Imams as well and we have traditions that say for example the
[33:12]life of Imam and Cotham alehissalaam was in danger because some people
[33:15]they did not hold their tongue they couldn't control their tongue so
[33:18]imam zain al-abideen alehissalaam and the Saudis in al-kafi and oftentimes we
[33:23]hear people saying this hadith he says wallah lower ulema Abu Dharr
[33:30]Murphy tells me Salman Litella and then he says well akka akka
[33:37]rasool allah salallahu alayhi wa ala bay nama fell from alvin akana
[33:42]bisa Erin shank Rasul Allah says if Abu Dharr knew what was
[33:46]in the hearts of Salman it would have killed him and Salman
[33:51]and a Buddha and Sandman were so close so imagine if other
[33:54]people who are not close to one another if they know some
[33:58]some things what would happen here different scholars they have different interpretations
[34:02]different views some people they come and they say a Buddha would
[34:07]have killed Salman this is not acceptable the answer is if Abu
[34:11]Dharr knew what was in the hearts of Salman the knowledge that
[34:17]Salman has would have killed a Buddha a Buddha could not tolerate
[34:21]that knowledge the knowledge is too heavy there are some things that
[34:25]are too heavy for a normal person to bear sin man he
[34:28]had the heart he had the mattify was able to comprehend and
[34:32]accept that knowledge another interpretation is that Sal if Abu Dharr knew
[34:38]what said Manu a Buddha would not have been able to control
[34:43]his tongue a booth out one thing about him he was very
[34:45]you know you would use very blunt he would speak he would
[34:49]not have been able to control his tongue that would have put
[34:53]the life of Salman and a Buddha in danger so now the
[34:58]Imam says wallah lo Alima Abu Dharr Mary Calvi Salman locket Allah
[35:01]well a tad AHA rasoolallah by namah from Ivana come beside Aaron
[35:07]sulk and then the Imam talks about the knowledge some of the
[35:10]hadith you know sometimes some people we read some of the narrations
[35:15]of rasul allah the al Bayt we say no no no I
[35:16]can't accept this first of all we always reject the hadees' if
[35:22]we don't know it maybe we did not comprehend it maybe we
[35:25]did not understand it and then the Imam talks about the hadith
[35:32]talks about the El the imam ali salam says and allah sobhan
[35:35]most us up in another hadith and not he says in the
[35:41]hadith or now someone must us up our knowledge is something not
[35:44]not everyone could tolerate not everyone could understand lie Tammy Lou Who
[35:50]Elena beyond morsel our Melek on Makarov our abdomen on him Jan
[35:54]allahu al behula demon the only ones who are able to take
[36:03]in this knowledge is a nabi a prophet or an angel or
[36:07]some a Bob who's a believer that allah subhanaw taala has tested
[36:11]him many times until this person came to comprehend and understand some
[36:16]realities and then he says well in Massaro salman min allah allah
[36:21]ma li an Umbreon min al l bait feather felid a leak
[36:27]an acceptable Adama he says and Salman is one of the Allah
[36:32]MA because he is one of us the Alan Bates and therefore
[36:34]he he is able to comprehend some of the truths more than
[36:38]someone as great as a Buddha Buddha was so great but there
[36:43]are some truths that even a Buddha could not comprehend and he
[36:46]could not take him so now this is the relationship between Salman
[36:52]and a Buddha and these were two men who were known as
[36:54]Hawaii Rasul Allah they were so close to Rasulullah sallallahu aleyhi wa
[37:03]a and salman and abu dharr and they were one of the
[37:07]individuals Salman was one of the individuals who did not leave the
[37:12]path of ali IBN ABI talib after the death of a sort
[37:14]of muscle of the hani who are the narrations say that there
[37:18]were only twelve that stood with the island bait six from the
[37:22]Ansar and six from the muhajireen and Sandman was one of them
[37:26]Sandman was one of the twelve who stood and defended Ameer al-mumineen
[37:31]stood with the truth and even we have in our books he
[37:35]began to speak in Farsi and it's recorded the Farsi words that
[37:40]he says in the in front of the Calif in front of
[37:42]the establishment he comes and he tells them what have you done
[37:47]what have you done after what also lala did why he built
[37:49]you came and you did this you came and you destroyed this
[37:53]and we have narrations that when fatima zahra entered into the masjid
[37:57]there was a man who would console her who would sell man
[38:00]who would help kind of bring east her pain and bring east
[38:05]to the pain of the acid based on a home seller said
[38:09]man was so close that sometimes he would have conversations with the
[38:13]added bait allahumma salaam some of the muslims they came and they
[38:16]tell him o Salman I leave nabi thought it was younger than
[38:18]you even what sort of law was younger than him they tell
[38:22]him I leave never thought I was younger than you why are
[38:26]you a follower of Ali why do you follow Ali bin Abi
[38:28]Talib wherever he goes you follow the path of ali IBN ABI
[38:32]talib he used to follow I leave my batali but in a
[38:34]way that no one else followed him he used to be always
[38:38]with Imam Ali so then they tell him why are you following
[38:41]I leave never thought if he's younger than you he tells them
[38:44]because I heard they're all sort of laissez men I have been
[38:46]ef'n your head while he whoever loves me let them love Ali
[38:51]of my birth on it and this is why I love rasulallah
[38:52]and therefore I display my love to Ameer al-mumineen now Salman was
[39:00]a part of the Opposition Salman was a part of those who
[39:04]did not accept the establishment that was ruling however Salman did not
[39:10]do anything to compromise the progress and the growth of Islam Sandman
[39:15]did not do any even amirul mumineen did not do anything I
[39:21]mean even though his hop was taken away from him he never
[39:23]did anything to hinder the progress in the success of the religion
[39:28]of Islam as a whole so said man he goes on the
[39:34]conquest of the conquering Persia he's from Persia but he goes on
[39:41]that conquest and he helps the Muslims he helps the Muslims in
[39:46]conquering this took place during the time of the second khalifa he
[39:49]goes in that conquest and he used to speak to the persians
[39:54]to the sir astra ins at that time and he used to
[39:56]tell them this is a religion of it's not a religion of
[40:00]the arabs this is a religion for everyone and some of them
[40:02]when they see sand man speaking like this they realized that it's
[40:07]not a war between arabs and non-arabs it's a it's an issue
[40:10]of Ikeda to issue of the religion of Islam and therefore some
[40:17]of them joined the religion of Islam and it is said that
[40:20]in one of the battles that took place one of the battles
[40:24]by the name of the Battle of ballinger this was of course
[40:28]that conquest that took place was Iraq Iraq was a part of
[40:31]Persia at that time so the Arabs they came and they took
[40:36]Iraq from the Persian Empire so one of the battles that took
[40:39]place was in a place called Ballinger and one of those individuals
[40:47]who was in that barrel and who was victorious in that battle
[40:51]was zu haben and gain hatred and pain where do we hear
[40:58]the name of jihad no pain on the day of ashura we
[41:00]hear the name of jihad no pain so high up 930 years
[41:06]before that he was in the conquest of Ballinger and the muslims
[41:10]they defeat the Persians and the Muslims they have the spoils of
[41:16]the war they have the spoils of the war they're all happy
[41:18]they're all smiling they all have are taking something home with them
[41:22]Sandman he comes and he tells jihad no pain he tells him
[41:27]if you want to be happier than what you are right now
[41:30]then one day the grandson of rasulallah is going to be in
[41:35]this land in the land in this proximity in this area and
[41:37]if you become a Shaheed for his sake and if you support
[41:43]him then Allah subhana Allah will make you happier than you are
[41:46]right now so he obtained it is said about him that he
[41:51]was Osmani Al hawa so Harappan obtained was not a follower of
[41:54]Ali ibn ABI Talib from the beginning it was days before the
[41:58]day of our they're traveling I mean Shane is coming from Mecca
[42:04]to Iraq and they happened to be that the caravan and the
[42:09]tent of the Arab no crane is traveling simultaneously with this at
[42:13]the same time in the same areas a moment Kasane and Ayman
[42:16]Hussein he sends a letter he sent someone to say hey little
[42:21]Cain he tells him he tells him come and join us come
[42:23]and join us first I had obtained he was not happy he
[42:27]does not want to join Imam Hussain but then he remembers what
[42:32]Salman had told him he remembers a hadith from thirty years before
[42:35]that Salman tells him the grandson of the Prophet is going to
[42:41]be killed in this area be with him and you will attain
[42:44]eternal satisfaction and eternal happiness so he leaves his wife and he
[42:49]takes some people with him and he goes and he joins him
[42:53]and for saying because of Salman because of the hadith of this
[42:57]great man Salman now during the era of American kebab Salman and
[43:03]Pharisee was appointed to be the governor of an area by the
[43:06]name of Salman Park today Madan he was sent to be the
[43:13]governor to represent the Muslim country at that time so they come
[43:17]and they tell the people of Madyan where he's buried right now
[43:20]the people the place where he's buried they come and they tell
[43:25]him the governor the one that Amir he's going to come on
[43:28]this day so people are waiting and they want to see an
[43:33]entourage coming suddenly they see an old man riding on a donkey
[43:35]and he has a small bag with him so they come and
[43:39]they tell him have you seen the Aamir Salman he comes and
[43:44]he tells them if you're talking about Salman I am Salman I
[43:48]am Salman they tell him you're said man we were expecting a
[43:51]full entourage we're expecting people and camels and luggage and so many
[43:56]things yourself man he has a small bag in his hand he
[44:01]tells them I'm Salman they go and they want to put him
[44:04]and be Castle they wanted to put him in the in the
[44:05]mansion and the castle Sandman tells them no no no I don't
[44:11]want in the castle he goes and he builds himself a hut
[44:14]and his salary his salary was five thousand dirhams at that time
[44:18]from the Muslim government because he's the governor he would donate all
[44:24]of his salary and he would feed himself and provide for himself
[44:27]from the art that he has he used to make mats out
[44:30]of hacia that's why he used to do in the beginning during
[44:32]the times of slavery and now that is an Emir he's doing
[44:36]the same thing and he used to feed himself and provide for
[44:40]himself and for his family from that they say one day salman
[44:45]he's in he's in the in his home and it began to
[44:51]rain it began to rain so much that a flood came a
[44:55]flood came and people were crying people were worried they don't know
[44:59]what to carry with them they don't know what to save with
[45:02]them each one is worried about what they're gonna take with them
[45:05]Salman he takes that bag that he came with and he goes
[45:06]and he stands on a hill and he smiles and then he
[45:11]tells them I heard from Rasul Allah say Nigel Makkah phoon those
[45:15]who are carrying very lights with them they're going to be saved
[45:21]very easily this has two meanings one is in this dunya if
[45:23]you're not carrying much it's going to be very easy have you
[45:27]tried coming out of a plane and you only have a carry-on
[45:31]with you compared to the ones that have to wait for their
[45:33]bags for 20 minutes for 30 minutes coming out of the plane
[45:37]when you just have a backpack that carry-on is so easy you
[45:40]just get out naturally more careful if you have less the chances
[45:45]of getting in trouble the kid the chances of worrying about things
[45:48]are going to be a lot less second natural mocha phone it
[45:51]means that on the day of judgement those who do not have
[45:56]heavy sins on them they will be able to be saved much
[46:03]easier so this is Salman and he died in the year 34
[46:05]or 35 after hijra Amir al-mumineen became the official Khalifa after the
[46:11]death of Othman in year 35 after hijra and in our traditions
[46:16]we believe that Imam Ali Allah's Salam he came for the burial
[46:21]and the heaven and the washing of the body of Salman now
[46:29]either he came on his foot or he came in a miraculous
[46:31]way through tile art he was able to come and he was
[46:37]able to take care of the funeral procession and the funeral rites
[46:40]and rituals of Salman and Mohammed II this greats man who was
[46:47]on the pursuit of finding the truth and he found the truth
[46:50]he found the truth even though his journey was a very difficult
[46:53]one even though his journey was a very long one he leaves
[46:59]his family he goes and he stays with the Christians he becomes
[47:02]a Christian and then he goes he he's on his way to
[47:07]Rasul Allah they enslave him and then he purchases he frees himself
[47:11]from slavery and he joins Rasulullah and once he was with the
[47:15]prophets some people they came with the prophets and then they lost
[47:20]and then they like they they lost their path said man remained
[47:22]with the truth because he knew where the truth was because of
[47:27]his intellect and because of his choice his willpower that he had
[47:31]well hamdu lillahi rabbil alameen wa sallahu anna muhammadan wanna hurry [Music]
