[23:16]there's a mic yeah foreign [Music] thank you yeah yeah [Music] all
[25:20]right so let's start with the silhouette alone my goodness normally for
[25:42]children I'd say I can't hear you so in front of you
[25:51]you have a Quran City map which um we've gone through before
[25:56]so we built it as a Lego I'll bring it one day
[26:01]when you've got maybe after the summer holidays when it's a bit
[26:06]easier and if you look at that map just as a recap
[26:08]it's divided into suburbs you have all the 114 sewer on it
[26:14]we've gone through it we've gone through each of the suburbs if
[26:17]you actually go through the past videos you'll be able to see
[26:19]them on it and I asked you at the back of the
[26:23]map to try and fill that in without looking at the front
[26:26]so hopefully you've tried to do that there's an overview of Quran
[26:33]City we've been through this all the way through so I'm going
[26:35]to go right down to what we're going to do today which
[26:38]is in essence we've been looking at haran city center so all
[26:47]those suburbs actually go around that City Center and at City Center
[26:52]all the four sore in that City Center focus on the Quran
[26:55]and the answer that they answer the questions of who how when
[27:00]and what last term or last month we did suratulfur Khan which
[27:04]looked at who you are if you reject the Quran and who
[27:09]you are if you accept the Quran and we looked over at
[27:12]that building we went through it in detail again if you want
[27:14]to recap and go back to the video you'll be able to
[27:17]see it but today we're going to do suratul Alec okay so
[27:21]many of you have a Quran City book in your books is
[27:23]on page 212 and 213.
[27:27]okay and we're going to go through each of the ayat but
[27:30]before that we're going to go through what we normally do which
[27:34]is look at the Surah look at its focus and then look
[27:38]at each of the sections so the Surah is called it's Surah
[27:44]number 96.
[27:43]Alec literally means it says clot that's normal the translation that's there
[27:49]but it comes from Alika which is something that hangs on there's
[27:53]19 ayat it's a makisura in fact the first five ayat are
[27:59]known as the first five that were revealed to the prophet we've
[28:02]divided it into four sections okay and before that let me go
[28:07]into the focus so the focus basically tells you if you want
[28:09]to get close to the Creator you have to awaken your intelligence
[28:15]and awaken it with reading and learning and then it's talking about
[28:18]submission as well I think this microphone is quite loud and um
[28:21]that basically is your focus so we're now going to look at
[28:26]the four sections the first section talks about Awakening the intelligence and
[28:30]how to do it every human being's got some intelligence it's how
[28:33]you awaken it that makes a difference the second section looks at
[28:36]rebelliousness towards Divinity why we don't want to awaken the intelligence why
[28:42]we don't want to submit the third is a historical example of
[28:47]a person who was both generous who was wise was actually known
[28:51]as the father of wisdom and yet the prophet called him okay
[28:57]the father of ignorance for specific reasons and will go into it
[29:02]and finally how do I cure this ignorance so we're going to
[29:04]look at each of those sections but we'll go through eye by
[29:10]eye like we've been doing all the other times there we go
[29:14]starts off with like everybody knows Bismillah you all know this and
[29:19]I'm not going to go into that so this is the first
[29:25]I ekra the word when it was revealed that's the first order
[29:29]to humanity the first order what is in pray wasn't fast wasn't
[29:32]anything it was that was the first commandment and it changed the
[29:38]life of absolutely everyone literally means five things read internalize understand apply
[29:47]and teach it's not just as in the kojo language we say
[29:52]it's not just read and read and read it has a completely
[29:59]different connotation it was responsible for creating so many libraries it was
[30:04]responsible for the Arabs who at that time believed in just memorization
[30:07]to change their way of life because it meant to read I'll
[30:13]I'll specify that again read internalize people call it memorize understand apply
[30:17]and teach now he says read or read do all those things
[30:27]in the name of your rub and the Arabs had not heard
[30:29]Rob they'd heard Allah they knew who Allah was but to them
[30:34]a master Lord is not the right word it's actually master or
[30:37]somebody who who looks after you sustains you takes you to your
[30:42]full potential but they couldn't understand that and the other thing they
[30:46]couldn't understand was it was this master that created a little bit
[30:50]the um the Arabs believe that God created you then gave you
[30:55]free will and you could do what the heaven you liked but
[30:57]the very fact that rub was used that meant that meant Master
[31:01]somebody who's now going to tell you how to reach your full
[31:06]potential so to them they understood who the Creator was but they
[31:09]would not understand that this Creator would tell me what to do
[31:15]and that really riled them so and it is because of this
[31:19]that you and I before reciting anything any Divine guidance anything from
[31:23]the Quran we say Bismillah because of that verse over there okay
[31:29]so what you have in front of you is a chart of
[31:32]a small husna it's not my topic today it's not something that
[31:36]I'm going to go on to today however you have to replace
[31:42]the word ISM here with one of these every time you say
[31:46]Bismillah or Bismillah you've got to replace it if I was giving
[31:53]my child medication the ism in my head would be ashafi yashafi
[31:56]is not part of this but there are lots of names these
[32:00]99 are really important and we will at one stage go on
[32:02]to them in fact I'll give you some homework to do just
[32:06]as we finished or rather work that you will do here and
[32:08]then we'll see how far you get the the chart on there
[32:11]is not very clear but the charge you've got in your hands
[32:16]is quite clear so if I were to ask you that right
[32:18]now which number of isma or SM would you use to be
[32:25]able to understand this lesson pick pick something out of your chart
[32:28]you've got your chart here I need numbers okay just so that
[32:34]it helps you all the blue ones relate to knowledge can't be
[32:39]that difficult so to be able to understand the lesson of the
[32:43]Quran you may want number 19.
[32:45]you may want Alim you may want to be able to have
[32:54]because button is you want to know the hidden aspects of the
[32:59]Quran maybe you know raheer you won't at least know the the
[33:01]top way or the well I could say the uppermost meaning if
[33:06]I can say po ethics of the Quran but all these should
[33:12]be replaced the moment you say ism should be replaced if I'm
[33:18]going to the gym or if I'm going to do some whatever
[33:20]something I'm doing physically I will need strength so have a look
[33:26]at your chart again maybe you will look at 69 maybe you
[33:30]will look at 70.
[33:33]maybe look at kawi which is strong 53 but these names should
[33:36]be known and replaced as you go along okay section two then
[33:44]he was told the human being was created from something that attached
[33:54]itself is talking about physical the first way to look at it
[33:57]is looking at the physical where a child is produced whereby the
[34:00]ovum attaches itself to the lining of the womb but the ulama
[34:06]tell us that the human being cannot progress or grow unless he
[34:10]or she attaches himself to Allah so Alika is to hang on
[34:17]they call it a leech as well again only two places in
[34:27]the Quran where Akram is used only two and only here the
[34:32]use in relationship with Allah otherwise for example Akram is used in
[34:37]yeah this is not Kareem oh by the way can you look
[34:49]at your smile chart where is Karim find it come on Karim
[34:57]is somewhere it's in the 40s 42 there you go so Akram
[35:03]is not like Kareem for example Akbar is not like Kabir it
[35:11]is greater than so here Allah is saying Iqra re if you
[35:14]read if you internalize if you understood if you applied and taught
[35:18]then your rub is Akram he is more honorable than anything or
[35:25]anyone the honor you will get from doing this matches no other
[35:28]honor in the world or no other honor anyway um everything else
[35:33]stays a power wealth Etc but knowledge goes nowhere so let me
[35:40]give you an example maybe I'll go to um if you knew
[35:46]give me some Scholars names anyone you know any Scholars names can
[35:49]be any Scholar's name anyone you know sorry is that what you
[35:59]meant so at the time who was the most richest person in
[36:05]Iran do you know what else you don't do you who was
[36:12]the governor of the place he lived in you don't know he
[36:14]had the most power yet you know him because of his knowledge
[36:18]so basically what he's saying is here is that you're attached to
[36:20]the greatest University in the world which is the University of divinity
[36:24]and therefore if you want to have kirama which is if you
[36:27]want to have honor that's the only way to get it okay
[36:30]we'll talk about it a bit later he taught with the pen
[36:40]if Generations before had not recorded what we have today we won't
[36:44]have anything the Quran did not begin with writing it wasn't writing
[36:48]at all it was gathered later the Quran was a conversation it
[36:54]wasn't like the tablets of Musa that was writing that was brought
[36:57]down the Quran started with a conversation so he's saying you learned
[37:00]because people of the past wrote down so I'm going to go
[37:03]back to you how many times do you write things down and
[37:05]do you keep them for your well now your progeny to read
[37:09]or your friends to read or whatever so he says the only
[37:13]way you will learn is by written something that is written he
[37:18]taught the human being what the human being did not know the
[37:24]human being does not know that he or she can reach a
[37:25]potential far higher than anybody else knows in fact far higher than
[37:30]he or she thinks he can reach so he's saying the Arabs
[37:35]at that time and human beings today as well kind of stopped
[37:40]somewhere they think I can't go further than this he's saying you're
[37:42]unaware for your potential for knowledge it's way up there so now
[37:48]this is section two I'll go back to section one and hopefully
[37:52]you know it let's see how many times he talks about it
[37:54]that says it once here I had two ekra again so the
[38:10]whole aspect of section one is you cannot reach your full potential
[38:14]unless you have some sort of Education right second section so if
[38:20]you look at your building in your book it says why you
[38:22]don't learn and why you don't read Divine guidance it says foreign
[38:30]tell you why the human being does not reach his full potential
[38:36]why doesn't want to learn because he crosses the limits knowingly too
[38:41]difficult for him it's easy to do things the way he wants
[38:46]right um it's a problem he Rebels now first Allah gives you
[38:56]the problem then he tells you why why does a human being
[38:58]cross the limits because he sees himself as find the name of
[39:05]Allah which is Rani tell me what number come on it's purple
[39:09]just to make it easy for you it's near the end makes
[39:13]it even easier for you 88.
[39:15]so Rani is someone who is free of need so the human
[39:19]being thinks that he doesn't need God he doesn't need any Divine
[39:27]guidance because he knows what is best for him um I've been
[39:30]in Muharram I've been quite a few modalis that I've been reciting
[39:35]and always somebody comes up with a question as I don't understand
[39:39]this it doesn't sit well with my heart and soul so I
[39:42]don't think I should do it it's not to do with you
[39:47]it's not because he doesn't sit well with you right so that's
[39:52]something he thinks he can make his own decisions which is a
[39:55]common problem with the Arabs he's common problem with all of us
[39:59]as well so now he gives you a solution I go back
[40:03]again it's a problem across the limits why because I don't need
[40:10]anything I don't need to learn I don't need to learn the
[40:11]Quran I don't need God I don't need Divine guidance and then
[40:15]he says this is the solution you do know that you will
[40:21]be returned to your rub and you are accountable the moment accountability
[40:24]comes in through my head and into your head into everybody's head
[40:27]then that is the solution so his solution his camera is always
[40:34]on he's always watching you're recorded for everything you're doing I'm recorded
[40:37]for everything I'm doing so that's section two I'll go back again
[40:40]just so that we have it right so section two tells me
[40:44]the problem with the human being not wanting to learn Divine guidance
[40:47]not wanting to learn the Quran not wanting to learn what the
[40:50]prophet said is because he's rebellious and he's rebellious because he thinks
[40:57]he can get away with it um I don't know how many
[41:00]times he's been speed cameras but on ways it actually tells you
[41:02]whether the speed camera is working or not and if it's not
[41:06]working you may try to cross it a bit further than you
[41:10]should because you're not going to get caught and then he says
[41:12]hello I'm watching okay now there is a historical example I'm going
[41:20]to talk about um very wise people used to he was known
[41:26]as the father of wisdom people used to go to him and
[41:28]he used to make some really good decisions for the makkans he
[41:35]was generous he was wise he was intelligent he was good looking
[41:38]and he was the prophet's Uncle so he had everything he had
[41:41]the power in Makkah foreign have you seen the person who refuses
[41:49]why well he thought that the human being was created in the
[41:52]best of me which Allah says here where does it say It's
[41:57]Made In The Best of Me anybody so he he believed that
[42:05]and he said how can a human being who's created a such
[42:10]a wonderful creation put their head down on the ground animals do
[42:13]not what human beings do and he said more about Muhammad and
[42:18]he said if anybody sees Muhammad puts his head down on the
[42:22]ground put your put your leg on his neck put your foot
[42:25]on his neck he cannot do that because he's demeaning himself so
[42:29]he said Allah says by the way is to see and you'll
[42:35]see a lot of that in this Surah can you find the
[42:37]um the asthma of husna which says Allah sees which is Basir
[42:43]it's in Blue by the way it's near the top there you
[42:45]go 27 yeah so do you see this person who refuses when
[42:56]an out of mind prays see he threatened in fact some some
[43:01]ahadises which I've put on there they say that when he saw
[43:07]nobody was going forward he went to put his foot on the
[43:09]prophet's neck and suddenly he just walked back and he had a
[43:14]gang of people and they said what happened I thought you were
[43:17]gonna go put your foot on his neck and he said well
[43:19]I don't know I saw a monster there I just couldn't cross
[43:24]over now you see the recognition of which Divinity says if you
[43:34]just thought for a minute this man had everything going his way
[43:40]he had wealth he had wisdom he had generosity if he was
[43:44]on the right way and if he was intelligent not in intelligent
[43:53]enough to recognize Divine guidance and not arrogant how wonderful would it
[43:59]have been then he said but you see what you see is
[44:07]this is a dress to the prophet do you not see that
[44:08]not only does he belie Divine guidance he denies it you know
[44:14]what Tawala means to run away from Perfection so he's actually running
[44:20]away he was too arrogant to admit that that made sense so
[44:25]his problem was arrogance now Allah says this solution for him so
[44:31]all those before that all those were telling the prophet Allah then
[44:39]again and then again but now he says does he not does
[44:48]he not know that Allah is watching him Kerala if he doesn't
[44:54]stop because he was threatening the prophet we will grab him we
[45:04]will grab him by the forehead this is a place where where
[45:11]all your intelligences right so we will take this thing that he
[45:14]thinks he's so arrogant about away from him does he not realize
[45:17]that we'll be able to take it away his pride his dignity
[45:21]his mind his knowledge we can take everything away this is why
[45:24]you do sahaja by the way okay foreign not only does he
[45:34]lie he's I don't like the word sinful is a bit difficult
[45:41]but yeah he's he's in total era total error because he's thinking
[45:44]he's logifying his thinking how can a human being go into sahaja
[45:47]I'll give another example of the Arabs they used to bury their
[45:51]daughters alive and they had a skewed form of thinking so their
[45:55]thinking was that if women are used and abused I don't want
[46:00]my daughter to be used and abused therefore the best thing to
[46:02]do is to put her under the Earth that was a skewed
[46:05]form of thinking which which caught on in the same way this
[46:09]was his cute form of thinking how can a human being put
[46:10]his head on the Earth so he said now that I'm going
[46:17]to get all the counsel that means all my cronies all my
[46:19]gangsters with me and I'm gonna call them and they will stop
[46:25]Muhammad from putting his head down on the ground I cannot see
[46:28]my my nephew put his head down on the ground Allah says
[46:33]let him do that so there we went he's calling his gang
[46:37]he says let him do that we will call our people now
[46:43]zabanya in Arabic is the is like an anti-riot police maybe it's
[46:46]the best way I can put it people with shields and um
[46:49]you know water guns and whatever and they break up riots so
[46:54]Allah says we will call our um we will call our army
[46:59]sanatia Kerala so now he's taught by I'm not going to read
[47:02]the whole Ayah I'm going to translate it in English otherwise you'll
[47:04]all have to go into surgery which is not a bad idea
[47:08]it's good isn't it yeah absolutely right so if you hear this
[47:12]live you've got to go straight into such that you know that
[47:15]and it doesn't matter you don't need the Qibla nothing you're just
[47:18]going to say stuff I'm not going to I'm going to go
[47:21]into English so Allah is telling him I if I'd like you
[47:26]to imagine there's a prophet in Makkah his town um suddenly all
[47:31]the if I can say all the cronies all the most important
[47:37]people because this guy father of wisdom is he's an important guy
[47:41]and all his cronies there's a whole gang of them who hate
[47:43]him because he's putting his head on the ground and Abu Hakim
[47:48]has actually convinced them that that is the wrong thing to do
[47:51]so there's this lone man facing all these people there's a few
[47:55]supporters but he's on his own and Allah don't don't just don't
[48:01]pay attention to him means bare minimum of following but it also
[48:09]means um listening to someone paying attention to someone so you're saying
[48:15]don't just don't follow him and the solution to all your problems
[48:18]is to do sajdah so you can get close to Allah it's
[48:23]such an amazing Surah so this is also known as Surah to
[48:28]Salah because you start off by ikra when you stand in a
[48:30]raka you stand off by reciting Quran and then you end your
[48:36]raka by doing such that so that's known as Surah as well
[48:39]now go back over it again so you need to be able
[48:44]to read this all the time Erica to be able to awaken
[48:55]intelligence read read internalize understand apply and teach you all know that
[49:05]if you don't attach yourself to Allah it doesn't work read if
[49:08]you want honor see people go to universities if you went to
[49:13]Oxford and Cambridge and even came out with something that wasn't a
[49:16]first or a second you can still say I went to Oxford
[49:19]in Cambridge there's a name tag attached to it right in the
[49:21]same way he says you want honor attach yourself to my my
[49:29]knowledge which you know I talked about it so first section if
[49:33]I want to reach my full potential if I want to be
[49:37]able to be close to Allah I need to awaken my intelligence
[49:38]section two the reason why I don't do it is because I
[49:43]like to cross lines and I think I am I don't need
[49:48]it basically that's that's the thing and he says the solution is
[49:52]accountability section three gives you the example of a person who is
[49:54]known as a phenomenal person but you can see what he did
[49:58]and finally section four which is the last Ayah don't pay attention
[50:01]to any of them and do such that such that is the
[50:03]highest place where you can be heard so it may be the
[50:08]lowest place physically but it's the highest place where you can be
[50:10]and what I'd like you to do is look at your smile
[50:14]with charts and circle if you've got pens or write down every
[50:18]single ISM that is connected to this Surah I'll go over it
[50:23]with you so for example right at the top you will write
[50:34]Rob if you were to put all the asmal Hussein apart and
[50:36]melted them out would come Allah if you want to personalize Allah
[50:40]you would put rub that's right at the top it's not part
[50:43]of the 99 if you look at the Quran every single Prophet
[50:50]called Allah by Rabb rabbana rabbit that it's personalized Rob B my
[50:57]rub nowhere will you see rahmani or rahimi or Maliki or nothing
[51:00]so if you want to personalize something it's got to be rub
[51:05]and therefore you saw in the first Ayah they had no idea
[51:08]who this rub was right let's go back very good they knew
[51:12]God they knew Allah they were asked they would say Allah but
[51:17]to Rob they didn't know so if you want to personalize anything
[51:20]Allah and Robert synonymous right in the top you write her up
[51:23]all right let's go to the next one what name of Allah
[51:30]comes here find it find it and and circle it brown is
[51:36]creation can't go that wrong you got it 11.
[51:41]yep okay again you've got colic it now you've got two names
[51:53]can you find them for me please okay there you go 42
[52:03]and yep 85.
[52:07]now if you look at Alim all the blues go with knowledge
[52:12]so you could Circle them again you've got Alim but all the
[52:22]Blues in there are with knowledge you good okay Keller yep all
[52:26]of them and we can you know we'll go over them another
[52:31]time you've got that right okay so is there a name here
[52:44]that you can find that you would return to Allah anyway you
[52:47]can see something when do you return to Allah there is a
[52:50]mu meet there if you look there's mohi and there's mumit they're
[52:56]in Brown 61 that's right okay you've got again which is you've
[53:03]got a servant when he prays all right how about hidayah we
[53:11]got aladdi somewhere well done well done okay so you've got Hardy
[53:20]all right you've got those names yeah now where do you have
[53:40]a name which should go with Dua any any name that would
[53:45]go with Dua with do I yeah so I would say something
[53:50]like mujib you can actually look for it it's so cute 44
[53:56]that's right yep so he says we will call us then absolutely
[54:02]right okay and then that's the last Ayah so let me end
[54:08]with one thing about a small husna we had a little girl
[54:13]a five-year-old at Workshop she came one day and she said to
[54:16]me auntie I'm going to John Lan I thought wow that's so
[54:18]cool and with a lot of confidence that only five-year-olds can have
[54:22]so I said um okay can you take me with you because
[54:24]Ted you can take 10 people are these are the prophet so
[54:28]she must have gone Mom Dad brother sister you know friend and
[54:31]then she had a couple of places so she said yeah I
[54:34]supposed to so I said but if you teach me how you're
[54:38]so confident about going to Jannah then I can take 10 more
[54:39]and it'll just go on so she said it's simple it's the
[54:43]book you gave us at the end of term and it was
[54:45]a book we gave them on our smile and at the back
[54:46]it said anybody who internalizes the names of Allah the 99 names
[54:54]is definitely inshallah and I don't even say inshallah and she said
[54:58]that's how I know and she knew every single one but she
[55:01]knew them by saying you and I have got to internalize them
[55:03]because the prophet said adopting yourself Allah so really important when you
[55:12]say so hopefully we shall go over each one every time we
[55:15]do a Surah with you but today I'd like to end off
[55:18]with going through some mnemonics with you which I promised I'm sorry
[55:21]sure go for it I don't know it's not Lord it's master
[55:34]cherisher nourisha sustainer all that I don't know where Lord came I
[55:38]think it's yeah the translation is basically orientalist translation Lord right it
[55:45]doesn't even match it right but also the moment you think Rob
[55:51]or Master you think slave which is right but the moment you
[55:54]think slave you think of the the human version of slave the
[55:59]Divine version of slave is somebody who submits to Allah and therefore
[56:02]doesn't have to worry about anything else everything is sorted that is
[56:07]why that last eye is so so important and we go into
[56:09]sajdah on that note before I go there in your books you've
[56:14]got at the end what you would say in wajib sajda yes
[56:17]you should have it I'm hoping page 257.
[56:23]when you hear an eye of Quran if you hear it on
[56:27]a tape recorder or a that's used to be old old school
[56:31]but you hear it on YouTube or something that's pre-recorded you don't
[56:34]have to go into such that if you hear it live then
[56:38]you have to go into such that now there's four ayat of
[56:40]the Quran that you need to know and they're in four surahs
[56:44]so we've got a mnemonic there as well so when A Star
[56:46]is Born due to such this Star is najam Born is alak
[56:51]and in the two such thing which is known as such that
[56:58]and then there's 10 which is mustahab and now you've got them
[57:01]down on page two five seven when you come to them in
[57:04]the Quran it is good to go into says if you can't
[57:04]go into such a bow your head do I have to recite
[57:10]all these recitations no is it recommended you do yes you could
[57:12]just go into such that and say subhanallah it doesn't matter but
[57:16]if you went into the whole thing you know we've learned it
[57:20]as we were children then all the more better okay so if
[57:24]you learn to page 257 it's really cool so that's your such
[57:31]thing right now I said we would do last time is go
[57:33]over maybe one section of the mnemonics the mnemonics was a methodology
[57:37]of being able to memorize the names of soar in sequence surahs
[57:43]you can call it I'll call it sore so we're in sequence
[57:45]um when we started this we found that whether it was four
[57:49]and a half year olds or eight-year-olds they could actually do it
[57:52]you can make up your own stories I think those of you've
[57:55]done medicine and I've got somebody over there but you may learn
[57:58]mnemonics to be able to learn something I think rainbow didn't we
[58:01]learn the colors of the rainbow like that Richard of York gained
[58:07]battles in vain isn't that right red orange no did you not
[58:11]learn that maybe you learned something else but hey I learned it
[58:15]that way so here we go there's a link system and that's
[58:17]memorization okay so we're going to look at surahs one to ten
[58:23]so the focus points you have first you have a focus point
[58:25]so you know number four is Nisa because allegedly everybody says that
[58:30]you're allowed to have four wives can't even manage one but they
[58:35]want four okay so there you go all right do you know
[58:40]Seven Up you do so you know the moment you think number
[58:43]seven it is up are you good okay and then you know
[58:48]number ten because if you wrote to ten and you write a
[58:51]y in it you'd know who was in the belly of the
[58:53]fish which was Eunice okay so I'm gonna go back okay what
[58:59]was number four women ah or seven up what was ten there
[59:04]you go all right now we're going to go through a story
[59:08]there we go so imagine imagine you're in stanmore because you don't
[59:11]have another floor upstairs but imagine you had a floor up here
[59:14]so when the doors opened you saw beef burgers don't look at
[59:20]that that's done years ago so you saw beef burgers and when
[59:24]you saw these beef burgers he said who they haven't donated beef
[59:30]burgers chill the family of Imran and as you came into the
[59:34]door there were these four very Stern volunteers women they look like
[59:40]penguins all black sorry you're supposed to wear Blackberry all black they're
[59:44]standing there and they said today everything's going to be served on
[59:48]tables oh you got it door opened what did you smell or
[59:51]see beef burgers who were donated by alimran and you saw four
[59:55]women you know number four anyway and they were going to serve
[59:59]it on tables now on smelling those beef burgers like cattle people
[60:05]came from upstairs remember seven was up they came from upstairs and
[60:09]they thought yo free free food for everyone but when they realize
[60:14]their error it was only for the senior citizens they did Toba
[60:20]like Eunice all right let's go opening is Fatiha free for all
[60:24]okay Fatiha what did they see beef burger it's fine Imran followers
[60:32]Nisa five was Table Six was an arm seven was ah because
[60:39]you know seven up right eight cattle whatever you want to say
[60:42]right was it cattle no you're right go on eight spoils are
[60:48]four right nine they did tawba like Eunice it's a crazy story
[60:52]but kids hooked onto it and they knew exactly what these surahs
[60:58]were because they went through these mnemonics 11-15 who do you know
[61:01]if you write 11 and you put a line through it it
[61:07]becomes h right so who then Yusuf were two friends and then
[61:11]they heard this noise like thunder they went to investigate what it
[61:14]was and it was Ibrahim breaking the stone Idols what is 11
[61:19]Hood 12 is Yusuf what did they hear thunder which is 13
[61:25]okay what did they see Ibrahim which is 14.
[61:29]you can even remember Ibrahim as the father of all the muscle
[61:32]men okay and then 15 he was breaking the stone idols and
[61:36]15 is Hitch are you good all right so if I stop
[61:38]there what is one the doors opened what did they see beef
[61:44]burgers was it donated by alemran what were those four four women
[61:48]basically Nissa they put it on a table good okay six what
[61:54]happened cattle like cattle they came from upstairs and you know seven
[61:58]up right eight they thought it was spoils off or when they
[62:00]realized the error what did they do Toba Toba like eunus let's
[62:05]go over them Fatiha and here 11 you know is Hood you've
[62:19]got those pegs eleven you know it's good so you know who
[62:21]the new Super Friends and they when they heard the Thunder which
[62:24]is 13.
[62:25]you can also remember 13 is thunder even when he was born
[62:29]on the 13th and with thunder comes rain you can't Ibrahim you
[62:35]know 14 and the stone Idols can you see how this works
[62:39]now you can make your own mnemonics it's okay these were made
[62:41]ages ago so here we go 16 to 20.
[62:45]okay so we'll start off with 16.
[62:49]in this country 16 is known as sweet 16.
[62:52]what is Sweet Honey who makes Honey peace so you know Surah
[62:55]number 16.
[62:57]now right okay then you have 17.
[62:59]if you draw an arrow going up to the seven Heavens you
[63:04]know 17 is Israel because are you good okay and then 18
[63:10]you know here in this country 18 you become an adult so
[63:14]you've got to come out of your parents house and make your
[63:17]own cave you good they don't go even when they're 38.
[63:19]okay so you have 16 17 and 18.
[63:25]so now you say the bees when they saw Israel they're swarmed
[63:28]into the cave and when they peeped out and they looked up
[63:32]because the prophet was in Mirage they saw Maria meeting now we
[63:36]had a lot of problems with this one because they said na
[63:43]maharam how can Maria meet Prophet Muhammad they had a problem with
[63:48]this but at least they remembered I don't tell you what happened
[63:51]but at least they remember they never forgot that Maria met daha
[63:55]are you good I told them it was a distance or we
[63:59]made all sorts of stories here okay that's it whatever way works
[64:07]for you but with these mnemonics within an hour if we did
[64:11]them for an hour they all knew the names from one to
[64:16]one one four okay so let's start one open two beef burgers
[64:19]three Imran Four Women five Table Six animals seven up it's okay
[64:29]to say that eight okay spoil the four nine tauba ten units
[64:34]eleven Hood 12 Yusuf what did they hear thirteen thunder and rain
[64:43]14 Ibrahim 15 hijr 16 sweet 16 you got it 17 you
[64:52]already know 20.
[64:54]are you good we'll continue with them next time I come we'll
[64:57]just keep on doing them then hopefully you will know all 114.
[65:02]they're all on the um presentation I don't know they can be
[65:04]emailed to you or whatever it can be done to you maybe
[65:06]as a PDF we could email it and you can have a
[65:09]look are you good right any questions can we have a solo
[65:11]ad please before I got questions just like to look at this
[65:19]for two minutes okay so I said was synonymous when two words
[65:26]in Arabic are put together that are similar is to accentuate their
[65:32]difference so if you look at your chart I'm going to go
[65:34]back here I don't think you can see it here but let's
[65:38]go back and see where we are okay so when two words
[65:45]that are similar put together is to accentuate their difference and maybe
[65:48]the way I can put it is if I asked one of
[65:52]my children to bring me a scarf and I said bring me
[65:55]a blue scarf if I had only one blue scarf it's quite
[65:56]easy but if I said bring a blue scarf and I have
[65:59]nine shades of blue I have to actually tell them the difference
[66:01]between them so the three that go together Rahman Rahim and rauf
[66:05]can you find Ralph for me please come on you have to
[66:09]look for it it's in the 80s come on you can do
[66:16]it 83.
[66:14]so Rahman Rahim and Raul for the three R's and I hate
[66:20]it when we say kind and merciful Rahman is immediate Rahman is
[66:27]can be temporary and Rahman is for all a bit like a
[66:33]dentist Rahman is there for everyone Raheem you have to subscribe to
[66:38]it's like a hygienist so Rahim is like a hygienist it's continuous
[66:42]and it's constant right but it's not necessarily temporary it's more permanent
[66:50]so Rahman Rahim are you gonna do that yeah and then you
[66:55]have rauf Rahman and Rahim come with pain they may be called
[67:01]guidance but they come with pain raouef has no pain means no
[67:04]pain at all so when you're really stuck in life and you
[67:09]want his rahma which is basically guidance you want Rahman Rahim and
[67:12]in the world the three types of one of them is the
[67:19]prophet in the Quran he's known as one who is very very
[67:23]hurt when he sees those who submit to Allah hurt the other
[67:29]one is Imam and I'll just go over it very quickly Imam
[67:32]when Sheikh Baha'i was building the Haram in Iran he told the
[67:37]Builder do not put the door into the actual grave of Imam
[67:42]until I come in the morning because I want to put something
[67:44]there which should stop anybody who's a major sinner to get through
[67:47]at night the Builder sees a dream and he sees him said
[67:52]before Fajr I want you to go and put that door frame
[67:53]in but he said Sheikh Baha he said no so he told
[67:58]him stuff that only any mom would know so the Builder goes
[68:03]early puts the frame in Sheikh Baha'i comes in in the morning
[68:05]and sees the framing and he says well I told you not
[68:08]to do it so he said but this is what Imam told
[68:11]me to do and I did it and Sheikh bahai understood and
[68:13]he he rested his frame had on the frame and he said
[68:18]you are definitely Imam so when you want to ask Allah in
[68:23]the name uh when you want rahama without pain you ask him
[68:26]with the was he life Imam and finally the people in your
[68:31]life that are off are known as Rafiq you all know Lion
[68:34]King and Rafiki in it right it's a quranic word it's come
[68:42]from the Quran is a cushion that you lean on Rafiki is
[68:44]a friend that you lean on so in the world is represented
[68:48]so those are the three r's yes they balance each other but
[69:02]he's more rauf than your two hearts you've been listening to too
[69:06]many people who are harsh fine that's it stop there yeah okay
[69:11]people always ask for Ishmael yes the two from which all the
[69:19]names come from Battle of Badr can you find hayaan kayum we've
[69:22]actually highlighted them when in the Battle of Badr Imam Ali said
[69:29]that he well done said that in the Battle of buzzar he
[69:35]went to see what the prophet was reciting all the time and
[69:39]the prophet was always reciting Prophet Musa when he comes to the
[69:46]Red Sea and there's Faron behind him and they tell him you
[69:49]know we're gone kalas and he says my Rob will guide us
[69:59]through it that is Surah number 26 Ayah number 62 he when
[70:02]he hits his staff on the sea to make a pot he
[70:07]says when you're really stuck yeah I teach children that all the
[70:21]time because this is like stuff that's like it's like that guy
[70:26]who um was sitting in front of a statue and said yes
[70:28]and then his eyes closed and he said yeah Summit and Prophet
[70:33]Musa said because Allah says he actually wasn't calling you he made
[70:38]a mistake I said well I didn't know but Allah replies to
[70:42]say even if somebody calls me by these names in mistake I
[70:45]will still answer are good ones to know the other ones that
[70:50]are known as um is the one that we talked about which
[70:53]is 85.
[70:56]the scholars tell us that before any name of Allah you should
[71:02]say and then whether it's or whatever there is are you good
[71:11]with that yeah Robbie yeah and then add on whatever you want
[71:20]and obviously phenomenal okay you want to do answers because if you
[71:28]look at the top of your charts it's Surah number seven I
[71:31]180 and the way you remember it is seven days a week
[71:38]you want to make 180 turn towards Allah okay you for him
[71:43]are the most excellent attributes do this most people don't like these
[71:48]long drawn things to read I'm not saying don't read them please
[71:53]do however if you learned your small husna you can personalize it
[71:56]number two when you're the reason why I brought it today was
[71:58]when you're reading the Quran almost every Ayah that you want to
[72:04]work through will end with two a small husna for this whatever
[72:07]it is only um that's probably the only one that has four
[72:19]but that's for another day are you good with that sorry yes
[72:25]you would say you would say that too are you good okay
[72:29]so next time we meet we will do the other two surahs
[72:34]which is and that will complete Quran City Center but we will
[72:38]continue doing this so please learn them and we'll continue picking them
[72:41]up as we go along and hopefully you will know all 99
[72:45]and you may want to take me to Jannah with you okay
[72:47]all right from we under the Suraj um [Music] foreign
