[0:19]respected brothers and sisters I sincerely welcome you to our Q&A session
[0:27]this evening I always look forward to such sessions I find them
[0:31]very informative I always learn something new A New Perspective so I
[0:36]really thank you for your participation the brother is asking about ayat
[0:45]in this verse is a very beautiful verse that describes to us
[0:52]the light of Allah now the last night next Friday night I
[0:57]will be presenting the entire lecture about the verse about aat so
[1:04]I don't want to spoil it for you but very briefly maybe
[1:07]some of you cannot make it next Friday this verse is describing
[1:15]to us the guidance that Allah gives us so Allah says in
[1:18]this verse you can't liken God to anything there's nothing like him
[1:28]but if there's one way to kind of understand how God guides
[1:32]us it's light Allah is the light of the heavens and the
[1:38]Earth because what does light do it shines it shows you the
[1:40]way Allah shows you the way he guides you then the Holy
[1:46]Quran gives us an example of this light Allah is giving us
[1:55]a very um tangible example here in the past people didn't have
[2:00]electricity so what was their source of light a lantern an oil
[2:04]lamp a lamp is something that gives you light in your room
[2:09]now this lamp has conditions for you to benefit from it one
[2:17]is that it has a glass ENC casing why do they put
[2:19]that glass around those oil lamps or lanterns what purpose does it
[2:23]serve to save the light it protects it from wind for instance
[2:29]look look at this beautiful example in this verse and then a
[2:34]mishkat is basically that hole in the wall where they keep the
[2:37]lamp it needs a place and then what's the fuel that burns
[2:41]the oil lamp in the past what was the best type of
[2:47]fuel even until today olive oil pure olive oil why olive oil
[2:52]because it doesn't leave any smoke by the way if somebody gives
[2:57]you olive oil or you buy it and you really want to
[2:58]know if this is authentic or not burn it if it emits
[3:03]smoke you got duped it's not the genuine one but those authentic
[3:10]olive oils like for instance from Southern Lebanon that fine Lebanese olive
[3:16]oil that's the best the one from the village from the Fresh
[3:20]fromit especially I'm you know doing some advertising here that one doesn't
[3:27]leave any odor no smoke it's pure and olive oil is a
[3:33]fuel but you can also eat it other fuels they're toxic they'll
[3:35]kill you but not olive oil it's the best source of nourishment
[3:39]so now let's briefly apply this to Allah subhana wa tala Allah
[3:42]is that light and that lamp is your heart Allah puts his
[3:47]guidance in your heart but you need to protect your Iman you
[3:49]need to protect it from doubts from disbelief from sins every sin
[3:56]dims that light in your heart and then you need fuel what's
[4:00]that fuel Revelation Quran the teachings of it's like that olive oil
[4:05]that burns and gives you that light so inallah we'll examine this
[4:09]verse in detail in depth on the last night that I will
[4:13]be here which is next Friday March 14th but this is just
[4:18]a brief examination there's a lot more to it than this but
[4:20]again I don't want to spoil it for you now the first
[4:30]anonymous question with the most quotes I'm rephrasing it how does one
[4:33]get into a Hal relationship without committing Haram considering the concept of
[4:37]marriage has changed in this generation so how can someone start a
[4:42]Halal relationship you want to get married you want to get to
[4:49]know someone suitable for marriage without crossing any Islamic boundaries how do
[4:54]you do that especially today in modern society is that even realistic
[4:58]because what does modern society tell us you get to know someone
[5:03]start dating them spend months and years with them all sorts of
[5:05]Haram can take place and then you can decide whether you want
[5:09]to marry him or not obviously you're going to cross many Islamic
[5:14]boundaries if you do that so what do you do here are
[5:20]some practical steps number one always calibrate your intention make sure that
[5:23]your intention is pure and by the way brothers and sisters believe
[5:28]me all of you most of you you start with a good
[5:31]intention but then intentions evolve so every day you have to tell
[5:38]yourself I will keep my intentions pure for the sake of Allah
[5:42]that's number one you must always make sure you have the right
[5:45]intention secondly now that we have the right intention and you want
[5:50]to get to know someone you can initiate that talk you can
[5:55]talk to this person you can ask them questions what are your
[6:01]priorities of life how do you view this subject that subject how
[6:03]do you envision a merital life you can ask questions there's nothing
[6:07]Haram if you're interested in a girl you're interested in a boy
[6:11]and you want to ask them questions and by the way does
[6:15]it need to be with the permission of your family to ask
[6:18]these questions no it doesn't have to be with the permission of
[6:23]your family however make sure what you're doing is appropriate and make
[6:26]sure it doesn't backfire if you know Mom and Dad are going
[6:29]to find out later they're going to give you a hard time
[6:32]why' you even ask these questions obviously be wise and avoid trouble
[6:35]but for Islamic law purposes you don't have to inform your family
[6:39]you can ask these questions that's fine you're entitled to ask this
[6:42]person so keep it to a minimum professional no joking L flirting
[6:49]just ask questions once you've done that investigate appropriately don't become a
[6:58]spy agent and spy on that person what do you know about
[7:02]this person try to indirectly research about this person to know whether
[7:08]this person is good or not because even if you talk to
[7:12]someone brothers and sisters is interested in me I might be acting
[7:16]you think I'm going to show show my true self trust that
[7:21]but my friends know what kind of a character I have my
[7:23]friends who spent time with me who've traveled with me they know
[7:27]whether I'm selfish or not whether I have an attitude or not
[7:33]I'm arrogant or not I'm you know open or not you can
[7:35]communicate with me or not my friends would know that but you
[7:40]speaking to me for 2 three weeks you will not be able
[7:42]to tell that believe me even 6 months of talking will not
[7:47]uncover the true personality I know some people tell me say you
[7:50]know I knew this person for a whole year and then we
[7:55]got married and then the person changed 180° overnight I say this
[8:00]to this person said no the person didn't change overnight people don't
[8:06]change overnight so what happened this is not the person who I
[8:09]signed up for you were blind the person got married he or
[8:16]she is comfortable they're showing you their TR so honestly we don't
[8:20]need to spend months and years talking to each other and then
[8:22]you've got that emotional attachment and then that person decides you know
[8:26]for two years now he stopped he doesn't want me anymore you
[8:30]put yourself in that situation why did you stay talking to this
[8:33]person for 2 years and develop an attachment if this person is
[8:39]good you've asked up the questions you're confident you're comfortable you did
[8:43]some digging there when you start the process prematurely it leads to
[8:47]trouble if you're not save yourself a lot of headaches you can
[8:57]get married now go ahead so these are some recommendations from the
[9:04]sister side any sisters with the question yes you can give her
[9:08]the mic thank you so in verse I mean verse 164 um
[9:18]it says um we don't attribute physical attributes to Allah subhana wa
[9:27]taala but in the voice is a physical attribute so I wanted
[9:30]to know what what that voice that Allah spoke to mam with
[9:36]so we have a verse inah that states and Allah spoke to
[9:46]Prophet M the question is we know that Allah subhana tala does
[9:48]not have any physical attributes or qualities because Allah is above time
[9:53]he's above space he has no body no vocal cords no mouth
[9:58]no throat so how did God speak to M or just saying
[10:03]that God spoke to M are we not attributing a physical quality
[10:06]to Allah when Allah subhana T is above physical attributes that's a
[10:11]very good question first of all when Allah subhana wa tala spoke
[10:17]to MSA what happened how did M hear the words of God
[10:21]Allah subhana Bluetooth is that what I heard yeah M then was
[10:28]Advanced with technology by the by the way one of the beautiful
[10:30]miracles of prophets if you really examine them they're so simple but
[10:38]Advanced at the same time that what makes them so unique and
[10:41]they're a miracle today for instance for reconnaissance missions and spying missions
[10:46]we've got drones right Prophet San had a drone too what was
[10:52]his drone the hoodhood the hoodhood would go and gather information and
[10:57]inform Prophet M through that bird Allah would give information to His
[11:05]prophets it's very interesting so Prophet mam how did he hear God's
[11:09]voice does that does God even have a voice Allah generated a
[11:13][Music] sound and the sound was not like any other sound today
[11:20]when you hear a voice it comes from One Direction right like
[11:24]if your friend is standing there and your friend is addressing you
[11:28]you hear the voice coming from that side what was unique about
[11:34]the voice Allah generated to Prophet Musa is that it came from
[11:39]all directions so it was something unique that MSA had not heard
[11:44]Allah created sound waves to speak to Prophet Musa it was a
[11:51]sound a unique sound that Allah generated and he created so literally
[11:55]it's not his voice because Allah has no voice but it was
[11:58]the creat creation of God now the Quran because it wants to
[12:05]bring the idea closer to our minds the Quran says Allah spoke
[12:08]why to tell us that this Revelation is from God attribute it
[12:14]to God otherwise it's symbolic it's a metaphor just like bah we
[12:18]call the what bah the house of God how is it the
[12:22]house of God does God live there no it's attributed to God
[12:25]because it reminds us of God it's a symbol the same way
[12:30]the the speaking Allah generated a voice for Prophet mus to hear
[12:37]and that voice convey to Prophet Musa the words of God but
[12:41]it's not technically or literally the sound of God it's a sound
[12:48]wave that Allah created there on the spot the next anonymous question
[12:59]is what is the proper way to from backbiting so the sin
[13:04]of backbiting is a serious sin if we actively engage in backbiting
[13:07]Allah may not accept our Deeds or they lose a lot of
[13:13]their reward and value but now I want to repent I feel
[13:15]regretful how do I repent from the sin of backbiting the first
[13:20]step is stop the sin some of us were saying that we
[13:27]want to repent but we keep doing the sin the first step
[13:31]towards a genuine repentance is to stop the sin show Allah I'm
[13:37]serious Allah I really want to stop that's the first step number
[13:44]two regret the sin show remorse one of the signs of Believers
[13:49]is that when they sin look Believers sin they're not infallible yeah
[13:52]even good people can sin but what's different about Good People is
[13:56]that when they sin they feel bad about it it's a big
[13:59]deal to them they feel sad they feel remorseful remorse indicates that
[14:06]you're serious that you're honest but if I sin and I don't
[14:11]feel bad about it that's a bad sign it indicates I'm not
[14:14]necessarily sincere here so the Second Step feel bad about it the
[14:21]third step if you've ruined someone's reputation and your backbiting has had
[14:25]consequences you need to go and fix that go in that same
[14:31]Gathering that you backbit this person and tell them that what I
[14:36]did was wrong and you need to reclaim the reputation of that
[14:41]person tell them there was a misunderstanding what I said was not
[14:44]accurate I should not have said that praise that person yes praise
[14:49]the person who you gossiped and you back bit by praising that
[14:52]person saying something and and when I say praising I don't mean
[14:54]make up stuff no every person has good qualities highlight their good
[15:02]qualities say something good to reclaim their image was so sensitive with
[15:10]the reputation of people around him I'll share with you this quick
[15:15]incid story that happened with him one day a man walked up
[15:18]to the prophet in the Masjid publicly and he told him Yol
[15:22]Allah I want some assistance the prophet had very little assistant he
[15:26]didn't have much to give him the prophet himself was hungry so
[15:30]the man got angry and he insulted the prophet you know you
[15:34]give me this little assistance I expected more now when he made
[15:39]a scene with the prophet he ruined his own reputation the companions
[15:43]the people in the community they started to see him negatively the
[15:48]prophet later went and he got some more assistance and he gave
[15:53]it to him then he thanked the prophet and he apologized the
[15:55]prophet told him I have a request can you come tomorrow in
[16:02]front of the people and in front of the people if you
[16:05]can say something positive for instance you want to make your apology
[16:09]public not because I want your apology no you already apologized to
[16:17]me but because my community now views you negatively and I don't
[16:21]want them to view you negatively can you come tomorrow say something
[16:24]nice to reclaim your image see how the prophet is sensitive about
[16:30]the dignity and reputation of people if I've ruined someone's reputation I
[16:33]have to go fix it yes it's going to take time energy
[16:35]and effort but that's that's how you show Allah repentance number four
[16:41]I know what you're thinking do I need to go to that
[16:47]person and tell them I backbit them and I ask for their
[16:49]forgiveness it depends if the person was aware that you backbit them
[16:57]it reached them you definitely have to go apologize and fix it
[17:00]with them there's no other way brothers and sisters you need to
[17:04]go and fix it humble yourself tell them I'll do what it
[17:07]takes show them your genuiness now if they don't accept at least
[17:10]you tried but you need to try that's the first scenario the
[17:17]second scenario they don't know that you B back bit them you
[17:20]engaged in GBA in backbiting and if you tell them they're going
[17:26]to turn against you and you're going to create tension and problems
[17:30]in that case should you go and tell them and apologize no
[17:36]because Islam doesn't want FNA with people Islam wants Peace So if
[17:40]I know if I go to this person and I tell them
[17:43]I did that person is going to hate me it's going to
[17:46]turn against me there's going to be war between me and that
[17:49]person don't start war in that case repent between you and Allah
[17:52]and if you've damaged their reputation somewhere go and fix it you
[17:54]don't need to tell them and then do the following do a
[18:00]good deed like reading Quran praying in the month of Ramadan offer
[18:08]a good deed and then say yaah Allah I can't go to
[18:10]this person and tell them because there might be a war between
[18:14]me and this person I want to keep things keep things peaceful
[18:16]but here's what I'm going to do I'm going to offer this
[18:21]Good Deed on behalf of the person whom I gossiped and back
[18:25]bit Ya Allah use this good deed my spiritual gift to this
[18:31]person to forgive me Allah will forgive you and on the day
[18:36]of judgment on the day of judgment if that person says yaah
[18:40]Allah I still want Vengeance Revenge from this person because this person
[18:46]backbit me Allah subhana T will give that spiritual gift which you
[18:52]gave to this person Allah will tell this person look if you
[18:55]forgive so and so person who backbit you and repented I will
[19:01]forgive your sins I'll Elevate you in heaven don't you want that
[19:04]the person will definitely forgive you so Allah will negotiate on your
[19:08]behalf to let the other person forgive you to convince the other
[19:13]person to forgive you so that's how we repent from the sin
[19:17]of backbiting now we're looking for a question from the brothers any
[19:27]brothers have a question there a brother over here thank you I
[19:35]have a question I have a question in regards to how do
[19:40]you introduce to someone who just became Muslim and joined the maab
[19:46]um certain rituals that take place during the time of mam cuz
[19:51]it seems like this theology from a theology aspect it like it
[19:55]makes sense to them but the emotion doesn't it's hard for them
[20:01]to grasp so what advice would you give to us to explain
[20:05]to them if someone recently embrace the religion of Islam or the
[20:10]school of a b how do we introduce them to our theology
[20:13]to our beliefs and practices and specifically the question is about the
[20:17]mam morning sessions We Gather we cry for what happen to IM
[20:25]Hussein or we do the this is a show of emotion but
[20:29]that person may not understand this expression of emotion so how do
[20:36]we introduce them to that first of all as a general rule
[20:38]of thumb whenever you want to introduce someone to anything to Islam
[20:43]to something new remember that it takes time and it takes small
[20:51]baby steps some of us become impatient and we want people to
[20:55]change overnight and embrace what we do overnight it's it doesn't work
[20:59]that way the prophet sallallahu alaihi how long did it take him
[21:07]to deliver Islam 23 years it took your Prophet who's the greatest
[21:11]messenger the greatest creation of God it took him 23 years to
[21:14]deliver these teachings you want to deliver them in one day in
[21:19]one week in one month it takes time so start with the
[21:21]priorities let them know about the basic belief systemed what it means
[21:27]prophethood what it means why the Quran is important life after death
[21:35]the day of judgment start with the basics Salah gradually teach them
[21:38]fasting the financial obligations that we have the sins slowly slowly teach
[21:45]them make sure they absorb it they understand it they have enough
[21:50]time don't teach them everything in one day and overwhelm them because
[21:53]if you do you'll push them away I've seen people pushed away
[21:57]because we overwhelm them and then once they get that slowly introduce
[22:01]them to the message of Imam Hussein that this is the greatest
[22:04]tragedy that happened slowly tell them about the story you're going to
[22:10]see them getting emotional and then you can tell them look there
[22:13]are different ways of expressing of of expressing our emotions there are
[22:18]cultural ways people around the world by which they express their emotions
[22:23]and one of them is theum you don't have to do it
[22:28]if you don't want to but this is how a lot of
[22:33]people Express their sadness if you'd like to express your grief with
[22:36]us that way you're most welcome you don't that's fine that's okay
[22:41]so just walk them through what these ritual means because someone who's
[22:46]not familiar with this may not understand why you're hitting your chest
[22:49]they don't get it explain it to them tell them historically in
[22:54]a lot of societies when people would go through a tragedy that's
[22:57]how they would Express their grief when we wear black that's how
[23:01]we express our grief for instance let them understand that and don't
[23:06]pressure them to participate in that if they're not ready yet so
[23:11]if we take these steps they will slowly absorb these practices and
[23:15]they'll appreciate them the next anonymous question is what are some tips
[23:21]you have to help us focus better in prayer especially for someone
[23:23]who is easily distracted look all of us are easily distracted and
[23:29]prayer because it's our daily trial your time of Salah is the
[23:38]time when Shan intensifies his campaign against you to distract you because
[23:44]Shan knows what a valuable time prayer is and in fact my
[23:48]dear brothers and sisters you know the place where the leader of
[23:51]the JAMA prayer leads the prayer like that Arch thing in Arabic
[23:56]we call that place of Prayer are you familiar with that term
[24:03]have you heard of it what does mean fighting it comes from
[24:10]the root word and means what fighting is the place of fighting
[24:16]which is the Battleground the place we pray is actually called the
[24:22]Battleground the who are you fighting Shan and your naps it's a
[24:29]daily battle that's why you get distracted because Shan is focusing all
[24:33]of his energy to distract you because he knows this prayer is
[24:36]so valuable he hates it and the evil neps hates it so
[24:42]they distract us so number one be aware of that a soldier
[24:45]who goes into the battlefield do they just show up on the
[24:47]battlefield hey let's go to war they prepare they train they go
[24:55]with a mission when we start our Salah do we have that
[25:01]mindset just enter prayer mode and that's it and then back to
[25:07]business 5 minutes quickly it's a Battleground are you prepared for it
[25:11]did you mentally prepare yourself this is a Battleground I'm standing before
[25:15]Allah thanking him humbling myself before God and I am avoiding the
[25:19]distractions of Shan Shan is targeting me right now I'm going to
[25:23]be focused just say this to yourself 2 minutes 2 minutes it'll
[25:27]be a much better better prayer that's number one number two my
[25:32]dear brothers and sisters plan your Salah throughout the day and build
[25:40]your schedule around Salah not the other way around you know why
[25:46]we get distracted because Salah is not a priority for us sometimes
[25:50]we already have our schedule we try to squeeze in the Salah
[25:53]let's squeeze it here and there you're watching a movie let me
[25:55]squeeze it now I have business let me squeeze it now we're
[26:00]always trying to squeeze in Salah that makes Salah secondary build your
[26:05]schedule around Salah when you've done that you know you have how
[26:08]many of you use a daily planner to plan your appointments your
[26:13]work your plan your Salah write it 12:30 p.m.
[26:15]12:45 p.m.
[26:16]I'm praying 1: p.m.
[26:19]I'm praying block that out in your calendar when you do that
[26:22]you give quality to your Salah because you're showing significance to your
[26:26]Salah it's all about the attitude and the mindset number three realize
[26:32]this is an appointment with Allah Allah has given you a private
[26:37]time to speak to him to pour your heart out to him
[26:42]to humble yourself to him what an honor see it as an
[26:45]honor don't see it as a burden if a powerful King who's
[26:51]got the wealth of the world gives you an appointment do you
[26:53]see that as a burden or as an honor Salah is an
[26:58]honor for the believer number four know what you're saying sometimes we're
[27:03]speaking the words we don't know what are what we're saying know
[27:07]the symbolism behind the acts of Salah the you raise your hand
[27:14]you're putting the World Behind You Now Allah is greater than anything
[27:18]out there now it's me and my Lord the suud it represents
[27:23]the Earth Allah created me from this dust be humble that's when
[27:27]you go to to sujud you raise your head from sujud Allah
[27:33]you created me from the dust I was born you remember the
[27:35]day of your birth Allah brought you to this world the second
[27:37]sujud just like I was created from this Earth I will go
[27:40]back into this earth when I'm buried you raise your head the
[27:47]second time you remind yourself Allah will resurrect me on the day
[27:50]of judgment just think of these small symbols your Salah will be
[27:52]of quality finally the last tip and there are many other tips
[27:57]but to keep it brief one reason why we get distracted is
[28:00]because Salah becomes a routine it becomes a repetition for us same
[28:06]thing every single day same thing five times a day obviously it's
[28:10]going to get boring make your Salah unique how dedicate each Salah
[28:17]to something unique and here's the suggestion I have it really works
[28:22]alternate between a blessing Allah has given you and a sin that
[28:26]you want to repent from so the next Salah that you want
[28:30]to pray in the morning Sal the prayer think of a blessing
[28:35]Allah has given you health think of it access to education parents
[28:38]whatever it is money a car your dream car whatever blessing you
[28:43]want keep it in your mind that's the greatest blessing keep it
[28:48]in your mind as you're praying think of this blessing Allah has
[28:54]given me Health when I'm going to R and I'm thanking Allah
[28:57]for The Gift of Health think of it throughout the prayer and
[29:01]dedicate this Salah to this gift oh Allah I'm praying to thank
[29:06]you for this gift when you say alhamdulillah oh Allah I'm thanking
[29:12]you for this gift this is the morning prayer then your prayer
[29:17]think of a sin you've committed as you're praying repent from that
[29:21]sin feel bad about that sin dedicate this prayer to to the
[29:24]forgiveness from that sin and then the next prayer the prayer think
[29:29]of Another Blessing alternate back and forth have a list of 50
[29:35]blessings and dedicate 50 Salas to these blessings have a list of
[29:39]50 sins you've committed dedicate 50 prayers to the Forgiveness of those
[29:43]sins every Salah will become unique it will have a different flavor
[29:47]to it believe me if you do this you're going to look
[29:52]forward to it so these are some tips to better concentrate in
[29:57]prayer inshallah s say now we're looking for a question from the
[30:02]sister's side there's a sister up here can you give her the
[30:06]mic please yeah thank youum my question pertains to verse 10 where
[30:17]Allah says why does Allah misguidance of people sometimes if that's what
[30:30]the Quran is why does Allah misguide them yes soah Bak speaks
[30:34]about the Hypocrites the Quran tells us they have a disease in
[30:38]their heart we have physical ailments you got an infection other types
[30:46]of illnesses diabetes cancer God forbid Ms whatever it is these are
[30:51]physical ailments and then we have spiritual diseases hypocrisy is a spiritual
[30:56]disease it's a disease of the heart arrogance is a spiritual disease
[31:03]the Quran says these Hypocrites they have a disease in their heart
[31:09]Allah increases that disease what does that mean why would Allah increase
[31:18]someone's disease shouldn't Allah help them why is God increasing their disease
[31:25]how do we understand that Allah subhana tala is the light of
[31:32]the heavens and the Earth as we said Allah is thei he
[31:35]guides but if someone rejects God's guidance Allah subhana wa ta'ala leaves
[31:44]them to their misguidance and he doesn't help them because they've rejected
[31:52]his help you have an infection you go to the doctor the
[31:54]doctor gives you a prescription take this take this prescription you'll be
[31:58]good you'll be fine no I don't even believe in this medicine
[32:01]I don't even want to take it in fact you start cursing
[32:07]that doctor the doctor says okay you don't want my prescription go
[32:12]suffer in your illness I'm here helping you out come I'll show
[32:15]you the prescription I'm giving you the pill I don't want it
[32:19]okay you don't want it Go and suffer this is what Allah
[32:21]is telling the Hypocrites you don't want my guidance you don't want
[32:23]the Quran you don't want the prophet go and suffer so by
[32:28]not helping them because they've rejected his help Allah is increasing and
[32:34]prolonging their illness of the heart so it's not that God is
[32:38]misguiding them they've rejected God's guidance and so Allah leaves them to
[32:44]their misguidance they don't want his help Allah sends them help once
[32:49]twice three times 20 times they say no Allah says okay enough
[32:52]is enough you've disqualified yourself from any extra guidance cuz you don't
[32:57]want it you're not getting it in anymore I've given you way
[33:00]too many chances and that's yes and Allah gave you all these
[33:07]signs you deliberately rejected these signs and on the day of judgment
[33:12]Allah is going to forget you meaning he's not going to give
[33:14]you any blessings and by the way this is how we understand
[33:21]in other uh verses ofah Bak where allaha talks about the trickery
[33:24]and deception they try to trick God and so the Quran says
[33:33]Allah tricks them or they scheme and Allah schemes some people ask
[33:39]does God trick anyone does God use deception or trickery or schemes
[33:44]no so how do we understand this verse when they use deception
[33:50]Allah subhana wa ta'ala leaves them to the consequences of their deception
[33:57]so by not helping them Allah has deceived them you understand how
[34:04]that works in the Holy Quran so it's not that God is
[34:08]deceiving them but when they engage in deception and they don't want
[34:11]to repent Allah says okay I'm not going to help you by
[34:15]not helping you Allah has left them to suffer from their own
[34:18]deception all otherwise Allah does not deceive anyone so the same idea
[34:25]here with the disease of the heart when they reject Allah's guidance
[34:28]they end up in a worse State and they've disqualified from themselves
[34:33]from guidance so the disease of their heart increases that's how we
[34:41]understand that before asking the final question I would like to remind
[34:44]you all that we will have a question and answer session after
[34:46]tomorrow's lecture as well inshallah now the final anonymous question is what
[34:52]are some books you recommend everybody should read thank you today alhamdulillah

[36:45]title of the book maybe some of you can remind me what
[36:49]the title of his book is maybe the identity of God something
[36:53]like that it's on Amazon it's available online but really it's about
[36:57]the attributes of God and how we can understand Allah and connect
[37:01]to Allah so that is really a very good book that I
