[0:09][Music] I begin in the name of the almighty God the compassionate
[0:26]the merciful the one who has created everything in utmost most Perfection
[0:32]and May the peace and blessings of the almighty God be upon
[0:36]his pure and beloved messenger the peak of his creation the symbol
[0:46]of humanity the holy prophet mamed and his Immaculate progeny of the
[0:57]bit peace be upon them especially the leader of our time the
[1:04]awaited Savior may Allah Hast in his reappearance and make us all
[1:12]amongst his sincere and dedicated servants respected brothers and sisters Allah subhah
[1:24]waala states in the Holy Quran in the very last verse ofah
[1:28]Alan verse verse number 200 Allah subhana wa ta'ala gives us a
[1:34]very important command in this verse Oh you who believe be patient
[1:56]in this beautiful verse we find Allah subhana wa tala giving us
[2:05]four instructions the first one is this is an imperative a command
[2:13]from Allah subhah wa ta'ala for us to be patient life requires
[2:17]patience you cannot become successful without patience but there is a lot
[2:25]of pressure on us to get quick results we we live in
[2:33]a culture and era of instant gratification look at how our lives
[2:41]are set up our children today are growing up demanding instant results
[2:45]if I desire something I need it immediately when I see something
[2:53]on Amazon I need it immediately in the past you had 3-day
[2:57]shipping and then it got better two day shipping and then it
[3:05]Advanced to one day shipping and now you have at least in
[3:08]the US I'm not sure about Canada you have same day shipping
[3:12]you know between 7:00 a.m.
[3:14]or 10:00 a.m.
[3:13]you'll get it or you can choose the afternoon and have you
[3:19]seen the reaction of some of us when the package is delayed
[3:22]I'm expecting it at 7 a.m.
[3:26]but God forbid it arrives in the evening or next day my
[3:30]mood changes is I'm angry I have an attitude okay so what
[3:36]happened if you got your package a few hours late is it
[3:39]the end of the world what happened do you really need that
[3:44]to survive to be a good human being but we live in
[3:48]this culture of instant gratification one reason why so many people lost
[3:55]money to cryptocurrency is because of the urge to achieve in instant
[4:02]results instant profit I know people who lost all their life savings
[4:08]on cryptocurrency like Bitcoin and these other types of coins their life
[4:12]savings it's an Impulse let me put $5,000 so I can make
[4:18]a profit tonight tomorrow next week we live a culture of instant
[4:24]gratification Allah here has advice for us be be patient teach your
[4:32]children to be patient when we pamper our children so much we
[4:38]give them whatever they want whatever they need they will not be
[4:41]ready for Life a good parent is not a parent who always
[4:47]says yes to their children a good parent is one who knows
[4:51]how to appropriately say no but there is a way if you
[4:56]say the no aggressively that's not good parenting you might lose your
[5:00]children or you might psychologically impact them but if you know how
[5:04]to say no Pro appropriately to your children that makes you a
[5:10]good father that makes you a good mother I know some parents
[5:14]because they want to be nice everything their children ask them they
[5:18]give it to them you're not serving your children you're destroying their
[5:22]future our children need to learn patience not everything that they desire
[5:26]and they want needs to be available for them even even if
[5:31]you have the money to get it even if you have the
[5:33]resources always ask your children to convince you why they need what
[5:41]they need if it's convincing get it for them fine but always
[5:43]put the burden on them to prove it to you okay Baba
[5:49]you're asking for this you want this tell me why you need
[5:52]this why this is beneficial for you go write me an essay
[5:56]why this is beneficial if you can do that I'll buy it
[5:59]for you we have to teach our children patience so that when
[6:04]they grow up and they experience the difficulty and the reality of
[6:09]Life they're prepared you have to prepare your children for tough days
[6:14]ahead train them prepare them let them know that Habi Baba life
[6:19]is not perfect there will be trials life is not as you
[6:24]please and as you desire there are difficulties sometimes our society teaches
[6:29]us that the good life is the perfect life when you get
[6:35]what you want when you live with the perfect partner we have
[6:39]this concept called the soulmate and we spend decades searching for that
[6:42]perfect soulmate this perfect human being and we think that's what it
[6:49]means to be successful if you find your soulmate then you're successful
[6:52]otherwise keep struggling keep trying to find that soulmate this concept of
[7:00]a soulmate is a very bizarre unrealistic concept who told you that
[7:06]every person has a soulmate there's no basis for that in the
[7:09]religion of Islam sometimes you can marry a person who turns out
[7:13]to be an angel and sometimes you'll marry a person who will
[7:16]give you headaches that's part of your trial sometimes Allah wants you
[7:20]to live with someone who creates headaches for you because that's the
[7:24]way Allah wants you to go to heaven that's the way Allah
[7:28]wants to forgive you that's the way Allah subhana tala wants to
[7:31]cut your heart from this dun disconnect you from materialism for some
[7:36]people that's their trium so the first instruction that we find in
[7:44]this verse is the second one what is the difference between and
[7:53]in Arabic comes from the weight or the form of mu in
[8:01]Arabic involves two sides two groups is like a one-way street is
[8:09]like a two-way street it's a mutual relationship so when Allah tells
[8:14]youu he's telling you to be patient but Allah is telling you
[8:19]there is another side that you have to be patient with and
[8:22]that is being patient in the face of your enemies your enemies
[8:30]are very patient and they plan slowly slowly they're calculating and they're
[8:37]planning you also have to be patient in the face of your
[8:40]enemies we have many enemies out there that are constantly planning to
[8:47]bring us down the first of them is shaan shaan's very patient
[8:50]he has the experience of all human beings he's been there for
[8:55]ages he's very very patient in bringing you to to sin so
[9:01]you have to be patiently strong in saying no in fighting Shan
[9:05]and The Whispers of Shan another enemy is your nefs it's your
[9:12]greatest enemy your most avowed enemy is your nefs that's within you
[9:22]it really requires patience to control the nefs because the nefs every
[9:29]single moment is trying to whisper to you to pull you gets
[9:35]very annoying I know some people they know that what their nefs
[9:38]is pulling them to is wrong they know I shouldn't listen to
[9:42]my desires but they say say it I'm tired well I'm tired
[9:44]from this nefs how much do I say no Allah tells you
[9:50]be patient in the face of your enemies those enemies who are
[9:56]trying to bring you down be patient the believer's historic historically had
[10:01]enemies Allah is telling them be patient in the face of your
[10:04]enemies now there's one big difference between the mmen the believer and
[10:10]the disbeliever what makes it easier for you to be patient is
[10:18]one beautiful verse in the Holy Quran because the enemies also go
[10:22]through difficulty you think they have an easy life look at how
[10:26]throughout history the enemies tried to fight Allah The Messengers of Allah
[10:32]morality you know how much resources they spend they spend more money
[10:36]than we do they spend more time than we do they strategize
[10:41]more than what we do they work very hard the enemies of
[10:44]God they're very patient but there's one difference between you and them
[10:52]Allah look at what Allah states in the Holy Quran Allah telling
[11:00]those early Muslims who were fighting in the battlefield Allah was teaching
[11:08]them look if you are going through pain in you're going through
[11:11]pain your enem is also going through pain if you're going through
[11:17]difficulty your enem is going through difficulty but there is one difference
[11:20]between you and your enemy but you are hoping from Allah what
[11:25]they don't they don't have an waiting for them they're just dying
[11:31]for what for this D whereas you have God you have the
[11:37]you have Heaven you look forward to go and meet the prophets
[11:40]and the imams on the day of judgment the enemies don't have
[11:42]that so you have the upper hand you should be stronger not
[11:49]your enemies we have all these enemies that we're surrounded with and
[11:53]that requires patience in the face of enemies social media my dear
[11:57]brothers and sisters for some people in the community they're biggest enemy
[12:00]is social media because that is their distraction entertainment diversions music these
[12:09]are all distractions be patient be patient you have to say no
[12:16]to music every day your friends your peers are going to pull
[12:19]you put prer pressure on you to listen to music right there's
[12:22]music everywhere at the restaurant at the mall some people go to
[12:27]the movies it's nothing but music there's always that pressure around you
[12:30]you go to school you sit in class all your classmates are
[12:33]talking about this new singer and the newest album and you feel
[12:36]left out Allah says be patient in the face of your enemies
[12:41]this moral Anarchy that we're experiencing today in our societies there is
[12:47]no fixed basis for any of our morality anymore anything is open-ended
[12:52]you decide you decide what's right what's wrong you decide your gender
[12:57]you decide whatever you want about yourself that's fine decide your pronoun
[13:01]it's okay invent just keep inventing whatever you want and Society will
[13:05]say yes to you yes sir sure you want to be a
[13:09]cat today sure be a cat today you can go on the
[13:10]ballot and they'll even vote for you here in Halifax you are
[13:16]surrounded with all these distractions Allah subhana tala is giving you a
[13:22]command be patient in the face of your enemies the third one
[13:31]means you have to be prepared like a soldier who is prepared
[13:38]keep a close watch examine what your weaknesses and strengths are you
[13:44]need that constant strength and then Allah States fear Allah subhah wa
[13:52]ta'ala and fearing God means fearing disappointing Allah if you love someone
[13:57]dearly you fear disappointing them you don't want to upset them you
[14:01]don't want to disappoint them you respect their St status that way
[14:06]Allah subhana T will give you success this is a beautiful verse
[14:10]that we have inah Al Iman which is the very last verse
[14:16]now let's bring it to a new dimension here that has to
[14:20]do my dear brothers and sisters with the Imam of our time
[14:22]and this is the point of our speech today if you go
[14:28]to the book of Al by he lists aith attributed to the
[14:36]IM gives us a deeper application of this verse the IM States
[14:45]when you have to be patience one area you have to be
[14:51]patience is fulfilling the obligations praying every single day that requires patience
[14:57]paying zakat and that requires patience fasting in the month of Ramadan
[15:06]that requires patience so the IM is saying you have to be
[15:15]patient in the face of your enemy and then when it comes
[15:19]to the word the IM States let's analyze the statement by IM
[15:31]he says you have an obligation towards the IM of your time
[15:36]and that is let's define what means for us to understand how
[15:46]we can apply this with the Imam of our time what does
[15:53]in Arabic mean it has two primary meanings the first meaning of
[15:58]is to protect and fortify your city in the past the enemies
[16:07]would find a weak spot that the Army is not aware of
[16:09]and they would make a surprise attack from that area it's called
[16:16]th in Arabic so the armies what would they do they would
[16:20]be stationed in these sensitive spots to always monitor the activities of
[16:25]their enemies so that when they want to make a surprise attack
[16:28]they're prepared preped this is the first meaning of the second meaning
[16:35]of is to take care of someone and protect them from danger
[16:39]for instance what a parent does what a mother does when a
[16:44]mother is caring for her children she's looking after them she's protecting
[16:48]them she's fortifying her house from danger that is also called Mor
[16:56]Allah subhana wa ta'ala commands us to be that soldier who is
[17:04]always appropriately stationed to protect himself and his community from an attack
[17:11]in society you have all types of people who engage in morab
[17:17]by the way those who are Guardians and protectors for instance you
[17:22]will have economists in every country who try to protect their country
[17:27]from Bad economic Poli policies that for instance lead to inflation that
[17:32]lead to recession we call these people the they fortify the country
[17:41]and they protect the country from dangers this can be in any
[17:47]field so Allah subhana tala is commanding us here to adopt the
[17:50]state of in our lives be a soldier who is constantly aware
[17:57]aware of the weakness aware of where the enemies will strike from
[18:02]in order to protect himself and protect his community so in this
[18:08]Hadith he States how do we achieve that my dear brothers and
[18:16]sisters how do you achieve the first station of begins with the
[18:26]mind because that's the first WI window weakness that you have when
[18:32]it comes to your enemy Shan before you protect yourself physically before
[18:38]you protect your house your community your Dean your religion you have
[18:43]to protect your mind from negative and sinful thoughts because when you
[18:50]think of a sinful thought even though it's not a sin Allah
[18:54]subhana wa tala will not punish you for it you're allowing Shan
[18:58]to plant a seed a seed that will grow in your mind
[19:03]and once it becomes a tree fixed with deep roots you will
[19:09]not be able to say no to Haram people who easily say
[19:14]no to Haram the problem begins in the mind they have not
[19:18]drawn a red line around sins Mor means you fortify your mind
[19:28]I'm careful with what I expose to my mind negative images Haram
[19:32]images what do they do they pollute the mind the more you
[19:37]see Haram images the more you give foot traffic to the Shan
[19:40]in your mind are you comfortable doing that do you really want
[19:47]heavy foot traffic with the in your mind because everything Haram that
[19:51]you see everything Haram that you hear everything Haram that you're exposed
[19:56]to is actually giving free foot traffic toan please frequent my mind
[20:02]even if you haven't committed the sin yet but you're letting Shan
[20:07]come and go come and go and the more he comes and
[20:09]goes the more he discovers your weaknesses and the more you get
[20:16]numb to his presence and that's when he attacks and he strikes
[20:19]is be a soldier be careful don't let the Shan enter the
[20:24]fort you need to fortify the fort and that is why my
[20:30]dear brothers and sisters you find the Holy Quran when it comes
[20:33]to describing the sins for us the Holy Quran gives us a
[20:39]powerful graphic mental image it gives us a graphic mental image so
[20:44]you fortify your mind and you don't give access to the shatan
[20:50]see every sin as being despicable don't let that picture of the
[20:55]sin settle in your mind kick it out of your mind kick
[20:59]it out of your mind I'll give you an example here in
[21:05]your mind do you ever think of going to the trash can
[21:07]and taking out rotten food to eat it do you struggle with
[21:16]that honestly no does this thought frequent your mind no why because
[21:21]you realize the ugliness of this act it's disgusting that is a
[21:28]dis disgusting act that's why I never think of it you don't
[21:34]think of these disgusting acts because you realize that they are disgusting
[21:39]so you don't even mentally struggle with that Allah subhana tala in
[21:43]the Holy Quran teaches us see every sin as being either disgusting
[21:51]or extremely dangerous that's how you fortify your mind and your subconscious
[21:55]so for example when Allah subh is encouraging us to avoid backbiting
[22:03]what is the mental image that the Holy Quran gives us Allah
[22:13]says do you want to eat the Flesh of your dead brother
[22:17]if you struggle with I have a tip for you go to
[22:23]the cemetery yes I'm not joking go to the cemetery and think
[22:25]to yourself would you desire opening those Graves and eating those dead
[22:31]bodies very graphic image it's very graphic I agree it's a disgusting
[22:38]image Shah I won't take your appetite from tonight but that's the
[22:42]image Allah subhana gives you in the Quran Allah subhana tala who's
[22:46]so sensitive Allah who's so wise he gives you a graphic image
[22:49]why does Allah give you a graphic image like that because Allah
[22:54]wants to fortify your mind and teach you that someone's reputation is
[22:57]more important than their body our society does a good job in
[23:01]physically protecting us if someone harasses you physically you can go sue
[23:05]them the police can get involved you'll get protection but if people
[23:10]ruin your reputation accuse you engage in backbiting right there aren't really
[23:17]laws that protect you from that if your friends are constantly backbiting
[23:21]can you go sue them in court probably not in most parts
[23:24]of the world you cannot do that people will laugh at you
[23:28]even though this is more important this is more important than your
[23:31]body Allah gives you a graphic image here in order to protect
[23:38]you and fortify your mind another example in the Holy Quran of
[23:42]Allah giving you a graphic image is stealing the money of Orphans
[23:46]stealing the money of weak people Allah states in the Holy Quran
[23:55]those who consume the wealth or the money of Orphans unjustly meaning
[24:02]they don't spend it on the orphans themselves what is the mental
[24:06]image that Allah gives you Allah subhana States those people who eat
[24:17]this money unjustly they're actually eating fire in their stomach who wishes
[24:24]to eat fire who can stand the heat of Fire in order
[24:30]to consume something that's flaming hot can you eat a charcoal who
[24:34]can eat a charcoal Allah is giving you this mental image another
[24:37]mental image that Allah subhana tala gives you is about RBA interest
[24:41]today interest is like drinking water everyone deals with interest the whole
[24:45]economy is based on interest which is making the rich richer and
[24:50]the poor poorer and the more people do interest the more Wall
[24:53]Street is having fun and they're enjoying their wealth Allah subhana wa
[24:56]taala gives you a mental image of what happens when you deal
[25:03]with Allah states in the Holy Quran those people who deal with
[25:11]with [Music] RBA the mental image that Allah gives you about dealing
[25:22]with interest is what is someone who's trying to stand up and
[25:25]walk upright but the shaan has made him drunk have you seen
[25:31]people who are really drunk they cannot maintain their balance they'll trip
[25:35]and fall Allah is telling you in reality when you deal with
[25:39]RBA and interest you're a tool in the hand of Shan and
[25:44]the Shan is playing with you like a drunkard these are the
[25:48]words of Allah subhah wa ta'ala a true mmin one tactic that
[25:55]he or she uses to protect himself from sins is by creating
[25:58]these powerful mental images visualize the sin when you visualize the ugliness
[26:04]and the nastiness of the sin Allah gives you power and that's
[26:09]so that is the first stage of when it comes to your
[26:17]mind fortify your mind secondly when it comes to your Deeds every
[26:26]single day remind yourself I have an Imam my Imam is observing
[26:34]my Deeds am I carrying his or not am I taking the
[26:36]examples from his life or not am I carrying his generosity his
[26:41]forgiveness his patience his knowledge or not because at the end of
[26:48]the day we are in a team and our coach is our
[26:50]Imam but are we a good team who's listening to the coach
[26:55]or we are in a mess in disarray if there is a
[27:00]good coach my dear brothers and sisters you bring a good coach
[27:02]you know sometimes these coaches they're C they cost I don't know
[27:04]hundreds of millions of dollars some teams buy coaches who would think
[27:10]one day coaches would be bought and sold and players would be
[27:13]bought and sold Subhan Allah it's a new type of slavery but
[27:16]it's a very rich type of slavery you're buying and selling people
[27:22]and coaches if you bring a really really good coach and you
[27:25]give this you assign this coach to a team the team doesn't
[27:30]listen he's got great techniques for them to succeed but they don't
[27:34]listen this team is oppressing the coach that's what we're doing with
[27:41]the Imam of our time my dear brothers and sisters when we
[27:44]do not uphold the teachings of our Imam we are like that
[27:47]team we have the best coach that Allah has given us but
[27:51]our team is in a mess can you imagine what kind of
[27:56]Injustice we do to the Imam of our time this is something
[28:01]that we need to reflect on my dear brothers and sisters you
[28:04]have an Imam you need to be a a soldier out there
[28:11]who's always ready once according to a he asked one of his
[28:19]companions meaning when soldiers want to go and be trained to protect
[28:27]the city how long is the training he said said 40 40
[28:30]days the IM States our training the it's not 40 days it's
[28:41]not 40 years it's your entire lifetime your entire lifetime you stand
[28:45]as a soldier I a soldier willing to defend the Imam of
[28:51]my time willing to sacrifice and be patient for the Imam of
[28:54]my time so that Allah subhana tala accepts me as his servant
[28:59]that's the now I'll share with you this very powerful amazing Hadith
[29:07]we'll quickly analyze it to see how we can benefit from the
[29:11]teachings of this Hadith when it comes to this Hadith is narrated
[29:17]by a man called was like a doctor at the time he
[29:25]narrates this Hadith from Al IM AB IM in ours can refer
[29:32]to it can refer to it can even refer to IM aladi
[29:41]some scholars believe this is from IM aladi while some scholars believe
[29:47]it's from he narrates this Hadith from Al imass listen to this
[29:53]Hadith the Imam asks him do you have a mode of transportation
[29:57]what do you ride in today's language what do you drive he
[30:05]told the IM I ride a donkey the Imam told him how
[30:09]much did you buy this donkey for he said I purchased it
[30:15]for 13 din 13 golden coins the IM told him you've become
[30:24]wasteful you've wasted your money he said why the IM told him
[30:32]you could have bought purchased aun abun is like a horse mule
[30:40]like a horse hinny you could have bought a better mode of
[30:45]transportation a stronger mode of transportation with this money why did you
[30:50]buy a donkey with it he said to the Imam Al because
[30:56]the maintenance of a horse is more the cost of mainten of
[30:58]a horse is more than the cost of the maintenance of a
[31:02]donkey so that's why I bought this donkey the Imam says what
[31:06]cost are you talking about you have to feed both of them
[31:11]hay it's not that much of a difference you should have bought
[31:15]the better one the better mode of transportation then the Imam teaches
[31:22]him the following lesson see how the Imam psychologically trained their companions
[31:25]the Imam was teaching him look I want you to have the
[31:31]best ride the best horse so that every single day you say
[31:38]to yourself I am ready for the rise of my Imam whenever
[31:40]my Imam calls on me I am ready you know what this
[31:45]psychologically does to you my dear brothers and sisters let's look at
[31:48]the psychological lesson in this beautiful Hadith you cannot fight with a
[31:51]donkey can you go to the battlefield with a donkey you need
[31:55]a horse to take you to the battlefield the Imam is telling
[31:57]you look you're a Soldier be equipped with the best equipment you
[32:01]are waiting for the Imam of your time you have to be
[32:05]ready and if there is maintenance cost for the horse so be
[32:11]it maintain the cost of your horse that's fine because you have
[32:15]a greater goal here and if all of us take the spirit
[32:20]of this Hadith to our hearts our lives would be different my
[32:22]dear brothers and sisters when you feel that you are a soldier
[32:29]guarding your house guarding your community guarding your NS you won't have
[32:33]time to sin you won't have time to be sucked up by
[32:36]materialism and entertainment we allow our enemies to destroy us my dear

[35:28]you simply put your heart with the IM of your time every
[35:35]single day simply remembering the Imam thinking of the Imam creates a
[35:41]positive mental image in your mind that's an application of the simply
[35:48]think of your IM that's why we have these duas du why
[35:52]is it recommended to recite it every morning so you start your
[35:56]day by remembering your Imam every Friday with du remember your IM

[36:21]you engage in Always Be watchful and careful and to guard yourself
[36:28]and your family from all these outside enemies this is the instruction
[36:38]of but many of us believe me we're in a completely different
[36:43]world completely different world not really feeling the heaviness of this responsibility
[36:48]I just want my business and my entertainment and I'm fine and
[36:53]at night I'll get my pizza and I'll watch my favorite Netflix
[36:56]series that's it that's the Ambitions of many people in our society
[37:01]my dear brothers and sisters the imams of B have invited us
[37:06]to think at a higher level be prepared every single day every
[37:10]night sleep knowing that the next day could be the day of
[37:13]the return of your Imam how do you know how do you
[37:17]know what's going to happen we live in very unpredictable times any
[37:20]second there could be a global war Allah knows inshallah not may
[37:25]Allah protect us all but this can happen any second because we
[37:29]see these superpowers the last thing they care about is human rights
[37:33]the last thing they care about is the well-being of humanity if
[37:38]they find it in one night it's in their interest to burn
[37:40]half the planet they will burn half the planet believe me nothing
[37:45]will stop them nothing will stop them and Subhan Allah we have
[37:49]those Hadith that tell us before the reappearance of the Imam 2third
[37:54]of the global population will be wiped out onethird with red death
[38:02]and onethird with white death the companion asked the Imam what do
[38:08]you mean red death and white death the IM says onethird Red
[38:12]Death Means War battle killing white death means the Waba disease pandemic
[38:20]plagues that will wipe out humanity and some of these plagues are
[38:25]manufactured are manufactured in labit stories believe me there are evil forces
[38:29]out there in the world they're testing biological weapons how can we
[38:36]do population control Let's test these outbreaks there are evil minds who
[38:42]want to destroy Humanity the Imam says before the Imam reappears 2third
[38:46]of the planet might die now the companion who's narrating the Hadith
[38:52]he says to the Imam if two-thirds are going to go then
[38:58]what about us will we go the Imam says be hopeful that
[39:00]you'll be in the one-third that will stay and witness the reappearance
[39:03]of your IM be hopeful never lose hope yes there might be
[39:10]bloody wars but ask Allah subhana wa taala for protection and Allah
[39:14]subhana waala will protect you so every single day my dear brothers
[39:18]and sisters let's have verse 200 ofah Alan in our minds be
[39:25]there because the Imam is watching you be there for your IM
[39:28]be that soldier who makes his Imam proud there was a scholar
[39:31]in the city of esphahan a long time ago he really wanted
[39:36]to meet the Imam of the time he was desperate he was
[39:41]told that if he would go to the desert 40 days he
[39:46]would cry and turn to Allah subhana wa taala Allah will honor
[39:48]him by having him see the Imam so he did all these
[39:53]he went for 40 days to the desert and he's anticipating every
[39:56]day that Poss POS he's going to meet the IM of his
[39:59]time well the 40th Day came and he's now losing hope and
[40:06]he still did not see the Imam of his time so on
[40:10]that 40th day he's depressed he doesn't know what to do the
[40:13]40 days are over and he still has not seen the Imam
[40:17]of his time he falls asleep he takes a short nap he
[40:23]was so fatigued in his sleep he hears a call telling him
[40:26]if you want to see the IM of your time go to
[40:30]the Bazar go to the market of Isfahan to this particular shop
[40:34]you'll see the IM there this man wakes up the scholar wakes
[40:40]up from his dream he's shocked at what he heard but he
[40:45]doesn't want to waste this opportunity so he quickly goes to the
[40:48]market in asahan and he goes to that shop that he was
[40:53]told about in his dream he goes to the shop he sees
[40:57]it's the shop of a locksmith he's shocked locksmith this poor locksmith
[41:03]what's so special about this shop so he's inside the shop entering
[41:09]the shop when an old lady enters as he's entering the shop
[41:16]and the old lady enters the account states that he sees the
[41:22]IM there in the shop the Imam appears to him and he
[41:28]was inspired to know that this is the Im so he wanted
[41:31]to show his excitement that he's seeing the IM the Imam pointed
[41:35]to him not to say a word don't say a word just
[41:39]watch so he watched what happened he saw the old lady entering
[41:45]the house entering the shop and the owner of the shop would
[41:47]sell locks and keys she told him I have a lock over
[41:56]here how much are you willing to buy it from me and
[42:00]I'm poor I'm desperate he tells her look in reality the market
[42:05]value of this lock is one coin let's say one dirham but
[42:12]I will buy it from you for four Dirhams she says four
[42:18]Dirhams are you making fun of me I went to every shop
[42:21]they said one why are you giving me four he says yes
[42:25]it's true that it's worth only one but I'll tell you why
[42:31]give me the lock let me see if I have a matching
[42:34]key that can unlock it he takes the lock he tries the
[42:41]keys that he had in his shop one of the keys worked
[42:43]he told her the lock itself without a key is worth one
[42:50]coin the key itself without the lock is worth one coin but
[42:54]if you have a lock with a working key come combined they
[43:01]are worth five so I'll sell this key that works with your
[43:04]lock for one coin now you have a lock and a key
[43:09]that's worth five I will buy it from you for five coins
[43:13]you will make four coins she started to cry and she prayed
[43:17]for him and she left before this man said a word the
[43:23]Imam according to this account to the story he looked at him
[43:28]he told him look you don't need to go in the desert
[43:33]to search for me be like this man who cares about those
[43:35]weak in society and I will visit you I will come to
[43:40]you and you know we have in our Hadith that the Imam
[43:44]comes in our cities he walks in the markets as the Hadith
[43:47]States meaning he's aware of what's happening in your Society you want
[43:53]to see the IM of your time see the IM in the
[43:58]eyes of an or see in the IM in the eyes of
[44:02]someone who's struggling those who are dying now in you want to
[44:07]support the Imam of your time do something for them it makes
[44:11]a difference don't say it doesn't make a difference you want to
[44:15]see your IM you can see your IM through your s through
[44:17]your charity through your good deeds through your good that's how you
[44:22]see the Imam of your time so in this month of Ramadan
[44:27]my dear brothers and sisters let's reflect on this beautiful verse we
[44:41]ask Allah subhah wa taala to illuminate our hearts and Minds with
[44:47]the light of the Holy Quran and the light of the Imam
[44:48]of our time we ask Allah subhana wa tala to hasten the
[44:52]reappearance of the of our Master Al IM Ali we ask Allah
[44:57]to give us the to to be amongst his true and dedicated
[45:00]supporters raise your hand in Dua this is the moment of Dua
[45:07]when Believers gather and they supplicate Allah subhana wa ta'ala has guaranteed
[45:11]that he will answer them sometimes we ask for things that are
[45:14]not good for us Allah gives you something that's better so any
[45:19]Dua that you make realize if there is goodness Allah will give
[45:21]it to you if not Allah is giving you something better but
[45:25]Allah has answered your prayer raise your hand in Dua [Music] [Applause]
[45:50]am [Music] am Ya Allah those who are ill grant them a
[46:05]speedy recovery oh Allah those who are suffering in Gaza we ask
