[0:00][Applause] so Lanikai they basically mean Sawadee ka ba Abbadon la la
[0:29]tanaka nomicon sad that if enough for the phones and Alima illuminates
[0:38]your modulus and enlighten your hearts with a loud salawats for mohammed
[0:44]al mohammed salameh to ali muhammad respected brothers and sisters assalamu alaikum
[0:52]warahmatullahi wabarakatuh it makes most people feel better it reduces stress and
[1:00]it can help to keep the body healthy and what's wonderful about
[1:04]it is that it's absolutely free and available to everyone but it
[1:11]has some side effects there are three known side effects to it
[1:18]number one is what tissues number two is red eyes and number
[1:21]three is Ronnie makeup I'm speaking about crying crying my dear brothers
[1:26]and sisters and shedding tears has many advantages for us human beings
[1:30]but unfortunately many of us have a negative outlook towards crying and
[1:39]that many of us we see crying as a weakness and we
[1:42]associate crying with someone that is powerless if they are not able
[1:46]to overcome their problems then they resort to crying and thus it's
[1:53]a weakness and especially in men and that's why you find that
[1:57]many men are ashamed to cry for them to cry as a
[2:01]weakness if I'm a man I have to be strong and I
[2:05]should never shed a tear and unfortunately we teach this to our
[2:09]children sometimes we tell them for example be brave don't cry as
[2:12]if a quality of being rave is to not cry and like
[2:16]I said you find this more often with men and that's why
[2:19]it's estimated that an average men or woman cry five times as
[2:26]much as men now when we come to science to medicine and
[2:29]religion we find both they consider this as a misconception and they
[2:37]refute this misconception because when you come to Medicine in science you
[2:41]find that they have a positive look towards crying and that crying
[2:44]could be very good for the human being psychologically emotionally and likewise
[2:50]physically physically there are many benefits to crying and I'm sure if
[2:54]you ask the the experts they will tell you more about this
[2:57]at least three benefits there are two crying and shedding tears number
[3:03]one is that when we cry we release the tension and the
[3:06]stress that's within us and many times the stress and tension can
[3:09]lead to problems can lead to complications health complications later on in
[3:14]life so when we cry we are releasing this tension and stress
[3:19]this is number one number two when we cry don't do not
[3:22]think that this is just some salty water coming out of your
[3:26]eyes no and that's why researchers state that when you cry with
[3:30]your tears there are toxins and there are there's an excess amount
[3:33]of chemicals that come out with the tears they're considered waste and
[3:37]toxins the more you cry the more they come out this is
[3:41]number two and number three researchers states that crying when we cry
[3:48]and shed tears this increases our body's ability to heal the human
[3:54]body has been given allah has given us the ability to heal
[3:56]anytime you have an injury pain whatever then we heal after that
[4:00]crying it enhances and increases the body's ability to heal and that's
[4:05]why studies mentioned that the individuals that cry more often usually enjoy
[4:11]better health than those that cry less and also it's not just
[4:17]crying that helps but even some certain studies indicate that even those
[4:25]individuals that had a good image a good perception a good I'll
[4:28]look towards crying they enjoy better health than those that see crying
[4:31]as something shameful for example or they have a negative outlook towards
[4:37]crying so just having a positive outlook and attitude towards crying can
[4:42]help our health so you find that physically there are many benefits
[4:46]to crying psychologically emotionally of course we all know it makes us
[4:52]feel better anytime when we have a tragedy when I have a
[4:55]problem and we cry this makes us feel a lot better and
[5:00]that's why the famous poem of Shakespeare says to weep is to
[5:03]make less the depth of sorrow and this is common sense so
[5:06]psychologically emotionally and physically crying is a good thing and when we
[5:12]come to religion spiritually crying is also good and that's why I
[5:16]want you brothers and sisters to pay attention so that we can
[5:21]understand this new outlook towards crying because like I mentioned many people
[5:25]they want they have a negative outlook towards crying they look down
[5:29]upon it especially the men they consider crying as for women for
[5:32]children not for us if I want to be tough and strong
[5:35]I should never cry and that's why you find like I mentioned
[5:38]women cry much more than men but when you come to religion
[5:42]you find spiritually there are many benefits to crying like what I'll
[5:46]mention a benefit for example amongst the benefits of crying and shedding
[5:51]tears is that crying softens the heart you see our hearts can
[5:55]hardened and they can soften when your heart hardens this is not
[6:01]physically but this is symbolically when your heart hardens you become cruel
[6:06]you won't be affected by other people's advice you won't be affected
[6:11]by someone admonishing you exhorting to you parable stories of the Imams
[6:15]the Quran Salah none of this affects you some people they tell
[6:19]me I have such a hard time connecting for example with da
[6:22]or with Salah or with or with any other spiritual aspect or
[6:27]worship it just doesn't affect me it just doesn't move me salam
[6:33]hamid wali mohammed so they have a hard time connecting to allah
[6:40]subhanahu wata'ala nothing affects them nothing moves them and likewise you find
[6:45]even if they see a tragedy in front of their eyes they
[6:48]never cry it's hard for them to shed those tears these individuals
[6:51]may have a hard heart and likewise other people they have such
[6:56]a soft heart you tell them the the ease you know the
[6:59]smallest word they're affected they're so open to accepting and adapting and
[7:03]to changing and likewise the smallest scene they may see it will
[7:07]move them it will touch them and they will begin crying these
[7:11]people have soft hearts now the hadith of Imam al baqarah alehissalaam
[7:14]says my Jaffa to do more alas Watson Hulu sometimes we find
[7:23]it so hard to cry I'm seeing for example a tragedy a
[7:26]child dying on TV or in real life or for example I
[7:31]hear a very sad story or I'm worshiping Allah and I see
[7:34]others are crying shedding tears but I can't I hear the tragedy
[7:39]of imam hussain everyone's crying i cannot cry the Imam says my
[7:43]Jaffa to do more and less whitson falou he says when you
[7:48]find it that you can't cry one main reason may be because
[7:50]you have a hard heart it's like stone and when your heart
[7:55]is hard nothing will penetrate it if your heart wants to be
[7:58]affected has to be soft words stories affect it has to penetrate
[8:01]your heart but when your heart is like stone nothing will penetrate
[8:06]it correct the words will leave I may admonish you I may
[8:09]tell you some stories I may try for example to move you
[8:14]emotionally change you but nothing affects you because your heart is like
[8:17]what is like stone so he says my jeffer to do more
[8:19]and I lapis watching Hulu when the hearts hardened we find it
[8:24]difficult to cry and then the question comes here so why is
[8:27]my heart hard the Imam says you can't cry because your hearts
[8:32]is hard so why is my heart heart the imam then says
[8:34]wah mah assets envelope and Lalique a fluttered the new one main
[8:43]reason why some of us have a hard heart is because the
[8:46]excess amount of sins that we perform when we disobey allah subhanaw
[8:50]taala left and right we don't care about what's happening on obeying
[8:55]allah spano to allah gradually my heart will harden until it becomes
[9:00]like stone and that's why amongst the qualities of a sinner a
[9:04]person that's far from Allah as they rarely cry the individuals that
[9:11]are far from Allah criminals sinners they rarely cry and that's why
[9:16]Allah subhana Allah says in the holy quran he says about Benny
[9:19]Essaouira Eve he says from I said follow become embodied ilyich say
[9:26]hey Cal hey Garrity oh shut up he says and your hearts
[9:30]hardened after all the sins that you did in the crimes the
[9:32]disobedience towards allah your hearts hardened so much that your heart was
[9:39]like a stone or a piece of rock and then allah says
[9:44]and even maybe stronger even may be harder than rock this is
[9:48]how their hearts work Allah would send prophets and messengers to teach
[9:52]them and to and to change them and to admonish them but
[9:58]yet they would work they would come back by killing it would
[10:00]come back by killing these prophets so Allah says your hearts were
[10:03]so hard and these individuals they rarely cry they don't cry and
[10:09]they don't cry because they have a harder thus one of the
[10:12]qualities of a person that is close to allah subhana wa ta'ala
[10:17]is that he has a soft heart and one of the signs
[10:19]of a person that has a soft heart is that he will
[10:23]easily easily cry tell him the smallest story he'll cry or he'll
[10:28]be moved he'll be touched this is their quality and thus the
[10:30]hadith of imam ali ali salam says Bukharian mahesha - Loulou Muhammad
[10:36]Allah he says if anytime you feel that feeling in which you
[10:41]pass through that feeling in which you feel like you want to
[10:44]cry because you heard a beautiful door because you listen to a
[10:50]beautiful lecture or because you were praying or you saw something you
[10:53]heard something and you've you feel like your heart has opened to
[10:57]Allah and your heart has soft and you want to cry the
[11:01]Imam says no imam ali ali salam says no this is a
[11:05]mercy from Allah Allah subhana WA Ta'ala has sent you this mercy
[11:10]by making your heart soft and giving you that feeling that you
[11:13]want to cry so I should not shun away this feeling and
[11:18]feel ashamed to cry in fact this is an honor this is
[11:19]a mercy from Allah when I feel like I want to cry
[11:23]I should cry this is a lama from allah subhanho wa taala
[11:28]the Imam says and then the Imam says fatty Dawa jet to
[11:30]mu ha if you experience this feeling where you want to cry
[11:36]felt any mood ah ask Allah for your Hodja dewdrop because allah
[11:38]subhana wa ta'ala will answer your door as if you are in
[11:43]the state that you feel you want to cry in that emotional
[11:47]state in which you feel close to allah and you want to
[11:51]cry and you want to weep and you want to solve and
[11:52]open to a las manos ila allah subhana wa ta'ala will answer
[11:57]your door arms and that's why in the same way that you
[12:02]find criminals and sin sinners they rarely cry you find individuals that
[12:06]are close to Allah like Imams like prophets and olia of Allah
[12:10]they always cry the easiest thing will make them cry the simplest
[12:14]thing will make them quite like the Imams of annual debates read
[12:19]the stories about the Imams of a debate tons of stories hundreds
[12:22]of stories that the Imam he hear is one story or the
[12:27]Imam he says one thing he reads a poem he reads a
[12:29]hadith he reads a verse of the Quran the Imam begins to
[12:33]cry and what type of crying not shed a tear the hadith
[12:38]tell us the Imams would cry to an extent that his beard
[12:41]would be soaked with his tears how many of us have even
[12:46]cried once in their lives like that you cry and cry and
[12:48]cry until if you had a beard your beard would be soaked
[12:54]this is heavy crying insisting crying correct the Imams not once or
[12:59]twice maybe hundreds of times I can bring you tens of a
[13:01]hadith things that maybe some of us consider irrelevant but because the
[13:06]Imams had such a soft heart the smallest thing would move them
[13:11]and that's why we shouldn't be a to cry my dear brothers
[13:13]and sisters especially when it comes to matters of Allah and religion
[13:19]and the Imams it's not a weakness it's not as we say
[13:21]ieave to cry our Imams used to cry so much read the
[13:25]hadith a little bit if my Imams in missoula language cry so
[13:27]much why do I see it as a weakness and that's why
[13:32]I see the Arabs during the time of Rasul on when he
[13:35]used to cry sometimes they tell me I should Allah don't cry
[13:37]because the Arabs they wanted to be strong and brave and it
[13:40]was it was you know it was a weakness for them to
[13:43]cry just like how some of us feel shy even you know
[13:45]it's that we feel ashamed to cry but soon Allah would always
[13:50]he would reject that notion and he would correct them he would
[13:53]tell them there's nothing wrong with crying for example when he cried
[13:55]for his son he told him in the line Allah said mom
[13:58]I know I'm a human being of course I'm gonna cry and
[14:00]likewise when he would speak to some of them you tell them
[14:05]that you have no mercy in your hearts how can you not
[14:08]cry how could you not be affected and moved with all of
[14:10]these things so Alan Bates alayhi wa sallam they had very soft
[14:14]hearts and one hadith from imam musa alayhis salaam he said out
[14:19]of all the imams and the prophets there were five members that
[14:22]cried the most and they are called the imam calls them el
[14:28]Baca onl Kamsa these five individuals they cried the most and he
[14:32]mentions who they were the first of the bacchanal come sir the
[14:35]Imam says was Prophet Adam after Allah took him out of the
[14:40]heaven and he brought him to this world he cried for years
[14:42]tens of years maybe hundreds of years because our a hadith state
[14:49]that Adam lived for up to a thousand years so he cried
[14:50]for hundreds of years until the Imam says he shed so much
[14:55]tears until his tears they made a mark on his cheek it
[14:57]began to carve out his cheek like a like a valley the
[15:01]Imam says a small line on his cheek this is how much
[15:05]Prophet Adam used to cry and he's a prophet of Allah the
[15:07]second of the bacchanal cam said the Imam says was prophet yaqoob
[15:11]prophets Jakub after he lost his son Yusuf he cried and cried
[15:17]and cried so much until he became blind though the Quran says
[15:20]that he cried so much until he became blind and the people
[15:25]used to what even his own family they used to to him
[15:27]you're crying so much but yet he would tell them and nama
[15:33]I should cool better has the Allahu Allah he says you're ignorant
[15:36]I'm not crying just because I'm becoming emotional because I know I'm
[15:40]doing the right thing because likewise like some of us his family
[15:43]members they had a negative outlook towards crying but crying is not
[15:48]bad crying it's good so this is number two Jakub number three
[15:51]he says Yousuf Yousuf after he went to prison the famous story
[15:54]he cried so much that the inmates of that prison they began
[15:59]to complain that you're bothering us this is number three number four
[16:02]he says the fourth of the bacchanal Kamsa is Fatima two Sahaba
[16:05]alia Stella he says Fatima two Sahara Allah has salon after a
[16:11]Salah died she cried so much for a salon behalf all the
[16:13]tragedies that fell on her and Imam Ali Ali stood on that
[16:17]the people of medina likewise they came to fatima and they began
[16:20]to complain they came to imam ali they told him your wife
[16:26]fatima is annoying us her she's crying so much and that's why
[16:29]my money he took her outside the city he built her a
[16:32]place where she could go and cry called baytullah Hassan Sheikh Imam
[16:35]Hassan Imam person and going cry there every day and finally the
[16:42]Imam says the final member of the maqam said that used to
[16:45]cry so much as whom as imam zain al-abideen ali you've known
[16:49]her same alias and I'm the son of imam are saying after
[16:51]he witnessed the tragedy of Karbala he saw his own father being
[16:54]killed in front of him and all the members of a debates
[16:59]the Imam says he cried twenty or forty years he would cry
[17:02]every day and every time he was offered food or water he
[17:07]would mix his food in water with his tears he never saw
[17:11]it as a weakness he was never ashamed to cry imam zain
[17:13]al-abideen used to cry for so much and that's why my dear
[17:18]brothers and sisters we have to change our perspective about crying and
[17:22]especially when it comes to the tragedy of imam and her saying
[17:24]and many people they asked and especially tonight is the first night
[17:29]of Muharram of Ashura every year we come and we gather to
[17:35]celebrate or to commemorate the markstram of imam or fussing over 1400
[17:40]years have passed and many people have asked for 1300 some years
[17:45]and many people they ask why is it year after year we
[17:47]cry for her sake and we remember the same stories isn't this
[17:52]repetition in Memphis a night almost 1400 years ago I'm still crying
[17:55]for saying why number one change your attitude towards crying crying is
[17:59]never bad in fact crying remember we said scientifically it's good for
[18:03]you spiritually it's good for you so first you have to change
[18:06]your perspective about crying do you have a negative luck towards crying
[18:10]if you change that perspective this will lessen the objection this is
[18:13]number one number two there are many benefits to crying so that
[18:18]when our young brothers and sisters growing up in this country they
[18:24]come and ask why do I cry for her saying what's the
[18:25]reason every year I remember a man passing and I cry for
[18:29]him we have to know what to tell them the young ones
[18:31]pay attention why do we cry for imam hussain every year and
[18:36]as you have noticed after every lecture in the end we mentioned
[18:39]one of the stories of the tragedy I remember saying that took
[18:42]place on the Day of Ashura and we cried why many reasons
[18:46]my dear brothers and sisters I'll only mention a few reason number
[18:49]one why we cry for imam hussain ali has said i'm every
[18:53]year reason number one is because we are following in the footsteps
[18:57]of Ahlul Bayt i asked you my friends who are your role
[19:04]models for some of us may be an athlete for others a
[19:07]singer I remember when I was in Middle School we were asked
[19:11]in one class computer class to pick a role model and do
[19:16]a PowerPoint presentation on it so I remember and most of the
[19:20]class Muslims Shia Muslims one chose a singer a band an athlete
[19:27]an actor and these individuals to me none of these individuals were
[19:30]my role models in life yes maybe if I want to learn
[19:32]sports in that field but in other fields my role model they
[19:37]had they don't excel in their a clap and their manners in
[19:39]their and and in their etiquette so I chose one of these
[19:46]scholars that I was inspired by and I did my presentation on
[19:48]him so we have to rethink with ourselves my dear the sisters
[19:53]who is my role model in life then I learned from that
[19:57]when they do something I try to follow in their footsteps when
[20:00]they tell me to do something I do it when they refrains
[20:02]from something I tried to follow in their footsteps being Muslims and
[20:07]followers of the school of thought of a new way to the
[20:09]shia of ali Abdulmutallab and sanam our role models are rasul allah
[20:15]and the 12 imams of a debate it's not correct if they're
[20:18]not my role models then I'm not addressing you I'm addressing those
[20:22]individuals that Alan Bates are your role models the holy quran says
[20:29]the holy prophet says as the verse mentions when in quantum to
[20:32]have born Allah but a be oniy if you claim that you
[20:37]love Allah then follow me another verse Allah says that Canela convey
[20:41]rasool allah he was sworn hassan rasool allah the best example is
[20:46]in missoula follow in his footsteps learn from rasoolallah learn from Erin
[20:50]Bates Allah Hamas Anna so they are our role models correct every
[20:56]member of Ahlul Bayt they cried every year for about mercy do
[20:59]I want to follow in their footsteps are now Rasool Allah I
[21:04]have read the hadith I have studied the hadith about how our
[21:07]lives to cry for him and per say at least 20 occasions
[21:11]he cried for a number saying wait a minute was the Imam
[21:14]Hussein killed before I sort of Lahore after a Salama now I'm
[21:19]saying to the grandson Imam Hussain was killed 50 years after the
[21:22]Holy Prophet died so what I've shown Allah is crying for his
[21:24]grandson even before he's killed this shows he's trying to show us
[21:32]that this is an important matter at least 20 occasions the first
[21:35]of those occasions is when imam hussain is when imam hussain ali
[21:39]salam was born when imam hussain was born the story is narrated
[21:44]by Asma Asma says I he came to me he told me
[21:48]bring me my grandson for saying at the time of what celebration
[21:52]you should be happy because your grandson is born he says as
[21:54]soon as he took him he began to cry and they were
[21:58]not tears of joy tears of sadness so as much as I
[22:01]was surprised you are a su la la why are you crying
[22:02]you should be happy your this is your second grandson per se
[22:09]Rasul Allah tells Asma yeah Asma I'm crying because jibra eel came
[22:13]down and informed me the angel jibra eel that this great grandson
[22:17]of yours this grandson of yours he will be killed by your
[22:22]own nation while they want your shafa intercession and I cannot help
[22:26]but seeing this baby this child of mine Imam Hussain will be
[22:30]killed by my own nation rasul allah would cry and not just
[22:34]a tear like i said he they would cry the imams on
[22:36]rasulullah until their beards would be soaked with their tears as soon
[22:42]Allah Christ when Imam Hussain when he's born and then I'm so
[22:44]arrogant I say why should I cry for her saying who are
[22:47]you following re-found rasoolallah or someone else and in many other situations
[22:50]and many other and many other stories Masood Allah would cry for
[22:55]Imam Hussain honey his Silla so we're following in the footsteps of
[22:59]rasulullah and these stories by the way there i'm all mentioned in
[23:02]the books of our Sunni brothers and sisters as well not just
[23:07]in our books well imam ali ali he said i'm he cried
[23:08]for imam hussain even before him a person was killed in the
[23:12]story where he passed and he went to Sofia he passed by
[23:13]Karbala he came down and he took from the sand of Karbala
[23:18]and he began to cry he told his companions this is where
[23:20]my son for saying will be killed partly my alaihe salam she
[23:24]cried for her son imam hussain before he was killed and every
[23:27]member of a debate the imams they cried for imam hussain when
[23:30]the month of Muharram Allah would come Imam Imam al Karim Ali
[23:35]his cellar or imam rava he would say my father he would
[23:37]never be seen laughing that's it when Muharram one comes the Imam
[23:42]was in a state of mourning he would never laugh he would
[23:44]always cry because this is a time of mourning it's a time
[23:48]of grief that I grief my grandfather her saying for him likewise
[23:52]imam sadiq ali sila he would he would bring poets and he
[23:58]would bring certain reciters and you would ask them to recite poetry
[24:01]in a beautiful voice for his grandfather imam hussain and imam imam
[24:05]sadiq ali salam would cry for his grandfather until you reach the
[24:09]Imam of our time Imam al-mahdi Arjun Allah Ta'ala for a java
[24:14]sharif and imam mehdi he cries for his grandfather imam who say
[24:16]he's the imam of my time i learn in many occasions but
[24:20]in one there is a Giada that we perform for a mom
[24:25]/ saying it's called zr and now elmo podesta you can find
[24:27]it in the books of in Marathi and other books this is
[24:31]read by imam almighty it's narrated by imam and maybe he read
[24:34]this giada tourism and you know what he says in this z-ro
[24:39]he says sayyed ela endo been a casaba Hanwha messiah he says
[24:42]my grandfather hussain i will cry for you every day in every
[24:48]night and when the Imam says every day in every night well
[24:51]I the Imams never exaggerate we exaggerate my son dies oh he's
[24:56]the best child in the world I'll cry for him for forever
[24:58]when we get married you know I will love her and cherish
[25:03]her forever it's just a word after a few months we get
[25:05]divorced but with alan bates alehissalaam there's no exaggerations when he says
[25:10]i cry for my grandfather her saying every day and every night
[25:16]he does it that's why some are lemma some scholars they say
[25:18]it is recommended every day in your life and every night so
[25:21]365 days a year and 365 nights say Wafaa say 'no because
[25:27]you oficina is a form of mourning demand per se say it's
[25:29]when you wake up and before you sleep it takes one second
[25:33]laughter so you know one two seconds because imam mehdi i did
[25:35]a lot for Joe sure if he says and abandon the kassapa
[25:39]Hanauma sir and then this is the important point and then he
[25:41]says while i fkn now I like a better and I do
[25:45]more a dama he says an outcry for you but not with
[25:49]tears I will shed blood for you about our 12th Imam says
[25:54]I will cry I will weep blood for my grandfather who saying
[25:56]no tears what's the point of Tears what's the value of tears
[26:00]I will we blood for my grandfather this is my Imam of
[26:06]my time and then I say why do I cry what's the
[26:08]point of crying follow in the footsteps of your Imams learn from
[26:13]your prophet in your Imams all the Imams of anger Bates I
[26:18]named Sam so this is number one why do we cry every
[26:19]year because we are following the Sunnah of Rasulullah and a little
[26:24]bit sorry I'm sorry number two the second reason why we cry
[26:27]every year because it's the wish and the will and the promise
[26:30]of Rasulullah the hadith says that when rasulallah informed fatima of what
[26:35]will happen to Imam Hossein it was a child he told her
[26:37]to Brian told me he'll be killed father man began crying so
[26:41]to console her do you know what he told her he told
[26:44]the real fathom and don't worry for generations upon generations my people
[26:47]the people of my nation they will wait for a man facing
[26:53]this consultant he told her what in any way in Anissa almaty
[26:59]say up kun or EF Cunha Allah nice are elevated necessarily bTW
[27:04]were in La Jolla on Matty yup corner Allah Oh John elevated
[27:08]he says the woman will cry for the woman of Ahlul Bayt
[27:13]and the men will cry for the men of an debate and
[27:18]then he says why say you JD Doon Eliza l'homme Jill and
[27:21]baggage in freaking listen he says generation after generation rasoolallah generation after
[27:28]generation every year my Ummah they will cry for Imam Hussein and
[27:32]they will hold modulus for a magazine so rasool allah foretold of
[27:35]these modulus so this is the will of rasool allah this is
[27:39]his wish this is his promise that's why no one can stop
[27:41]these images what so Allah said they will happen he tells Fatima
[27:46]1400 years ago tell the Day of Judgment generation after generation the
[27:49]Muslims not all of them at least the followers of a debate
[27:51]they will hold modulus for Imam Hussain and they will cry for
[27:56]them so this is the wish of Rasulullah this is number two
[27:58]number three the third reason why we cry for imam hussain every
[28:04]year remember his modulus is because there's a great amount of reward
[28:07]that's given to us by Allah just for crying and I'll read
[28:12]you through honey the first hadith look at how beautiful it says
[28:16]it shows that amongst the doors to Allah is repentance and mercy
[28:20]as Imam Hussain crying for amantha see the hadith of Imam Rahma
[28:24]and this hadith Asahi it's an authentic hadith the Imam he says
[28:28]for Allah miss Lil her saying belly up kin bacho because if
[28:31]you want to cry for anything then cry for her saying why
[28:35]he says Fenella boca la luna belly a long long way he
[28:41]says if you cry for her saying Allah will forgive you of
[28:45]your sins and another hadith he says if you cry for a
[28:47]man / saying Allah will forgive all your sins whether they are
[28:51]large or small just shed a few tears for about the LA
[28:53]the imam the imam saw that he says if you shed one
[28:57]tear as small as the wing of a fly for a barbed
[29:02]allah the reward is a Jenna paradise of Allah is so kind
[29:04]when it comes to imam hussain ali salaam and the tragedy of
[29:07]imam hussain Hadi has set up so there's a great amount of
[29:09]reward just shed a few tears Allah will erase your sins because
[29:15]you cried for imam hussain ali his setup and in another hadith
[29:18]the holy prophet tells Fatima Ali has salami a foul play man
[29:22]we're in he tells him he tells her about the day of
[29:26]judgement he says was an oath by Edmund but what cool woman
[29:32]Beckham in whom Allah Mosab insane now hoods be added in engine
[29:36]neutral illusion whoever cries for Imam Hussain we will take his hand
[29:39]on the day of judgement until we take him to the paradise
[29:43]until we take him to a Janna and then he tells father
[29:45]may our fountain a cool no I leaned back here Yahoo meltia
[29:50]Allah ie non Beckett's Allah Mosab enforcing for in Nava cotton was
[29:55]snapshot he tells Fatima every human being will cry on the day
[30:01]of judgement the day of judgment is not an easy day it's
[30:02]a difficult day the holy quran says it last 50,000 years we
[30:07]call it one day but at last 50,000 years and Allah who'll
[30:10]try us and it's a very difficult day long day every human
[30:13]being will cry the Prophet says on that they accept one who
[30:17]if I cry for imam hussain in this world in this dunya
[30:22]he says you'll be laughing on that day when you see everyone
[30:25]else is crying and then we asked why we cry for imam
[30:28]hussain is there a blessing greater than crying for imam hussain alehissalaam
[30:33]I had the one that's benefiting look at all this great reward
[30:37]and mercy just shed a few tears you don't have to soak
[30:39]your beard if you had a beard with it just a few
[30:43]tears look at the fill up that Allah so panel has written
[30:48]for you so this is what this is number three and finally
[30:50]number four the fourth reason why we cry for imam hussain alehissalaam
[30:54]once again number we are following the Sunnah of Rasulullah number two
[31:00]we number two this is the promise of Rasulullah to Fatima that
[31:05]this will happen every year number three we mentioned there's a great
[31:09]reward for crying and Allah who forgive our sins and number four
[31:12]we cry for imam hussain because we're affected by his tragedy because
[31:17]we're emotional human beings I mean who can bear listen to this
[31:23]tragedy that took place on imam hussain the grandson of us allah
[31:26]not cry you don't have to be a muslim you don't have
[31:29]to be a practicing muslim to cry for her sake you just
[31:31]have to be a human being don't you have emotions don't you
[31:35]have a heart aren't you affected the tragedy of imam hussain ali
[31:38]son has no match the what happened to imam hussain has never
[31:42]happened to anyone look at what fell upon imam hussain on the
[31:47]day of ashura and his family every type of pain physical pain
[31:51]psychological pain emotional pain and that heat the fatigue the thirst three
[31:55]days he had not drank water he would see minute after minute
[31:58]one of his companions go and they were killed he would see
[32:03]his children crying thirst thirst how many people can bear seeing his
[32:06]children crying thirst all that he was burdened with and then he
[32:10]know after he dies they'll attack they'll attack his woman and his
[32:14]children they'll beat them they'll consider them as slaves and prisoners of
[32:18]war who can bear and listen to the story if they tell
[32:23]you an ordinary man this happens to them you'll cry what if
[32:28]this is Imam Hussain Nadia Selim the grandson of Rasul Allah the
[32:30]Imam the third Imam of a bay the representative of Allah this
[32:33]was done to him who could bear that who can listen to
[32:38]this and not cry of course I would be affected by this
[32:41]and that's why many people ask you know why do we cry
[32:45]for Imam Hussain I'm every single year do you know imam hussain
[32:48]ali salam was he's the grandson of rasool allah he's the embodiment
[32:51]of rasoolallah and that's why when he came out on the day
[32:56]of ashura he came out wearing the turban of rasulullah he was
[32:59]holding the stick of rasulullah the sword of rasulullah he was wearing
[33:02]the clothes of allah what was he trying to tell them by
[33:06]finding me you're fighting rasul allah by killing me you're killing rasul
[33:08]allah because i am the embodiment of they're not a sort of
[33:12]laissez her saying on many I Nam in her say I'm from
[33:13]Hussein he's from me so by killing him ampere saying they killed
[33:17]her soon and that's why I'm a messiah he was asked he
[33:19]was told by one of the Muslims usually I cry for Imam
[33:23]Hussein more than Rasul Allah you know my mother tells him he
[33:25]tells him is there a difference between her sane and the Prophet
[33:29]there one for sane and Rasulullah are one when you cry for
[33:31]her saying you're crying for her so you're not crying for an
[33:34]independent person Rasul Allah says for saying on many on Aven her
[33:39]see when they kill the lamp they're saying they covered us with
[33:42]a lot as well and then he mama side up he tells
[33:45]him when they killed the other sort of law for other members
[33:47]of us hobbled Casati remained when they killed him I'm Ali three
[33:51]when they killed fathom it when they killed him I'm Fatima three
[33:54]ma'am Ali to Imam has sent one but when they killed Imam
[33:57]are saying all the members of us hibiscus odd they vanished that's
[34:03]why it's a great calamity because of what happened to imam hussain
[34:07]ali some the way that they killed him the barbaric way that
[34:11]they treated them and killed him and his family members even a
[34:15]six-month-old baby where do you find this he was killed and he
[34:19]his head was decapitated who does this even with your enemy don't
[34:22]do that of course we will cry for him hussain ali and
[34:26]sarah and that's why like i mentioned not just Muslims are affected
[34:29]by mom who say in our mood for Imam using many Christians
[34:34]Jews non-muslims you read in history when they hear the story of
[34:36]Imam Hussain they're so affected I know a brother who's trying to
[34:39]create a movie about Imam Husain Holly his Salaam so he showed
[34:43]some non Muslim American screen writers and producers director is the story
[34:49]he says every single one of them as you would read the
[34:54]tears would come down from his he doesn't know a man person
[34:56]is but the story is just so sad and then when they
[35:00]would finish they would tell him how can we never heard about
[35:02]this story how come we're never told about this story this is
[35:06]the grandson of your prophet it's such a sad story I remember
[35:08]I heard when they made the movie The Passion of the Christ
[35:13]they said a woman died because of the grief saying Jesus you
[35:16]know they're good their God he was being whipped on his back
[35:22]and then crucified can you compare it - what happened to Imam
[35:25]Hossein and his family and to his woman and this woman dies
[35:28]because of a story that didn't even happen what should we do
[35:33]for Imam Hussein I'll lie it's no matter what we do and
[35:35]cry for him I'm saying it's it's never too much it's never
[35:40]an exaggeration and that's why it's there is a college or university
[35:47]professor in the UK and cambered University his name is Edward brown
[35:51]do you know what he says after reading the story of Memphis
[35:56]a Christian man non-muslim man he says after reading the story of
[36:02]Imam Hussain he says the tragedy of Imam Hussain is so great
[36:07]that it's enough it's enough to evoke even in the most heedless
[36:11]and lukewarm meaning even if you're the most cruel person and you
[36:15]have such a hard heart the tragedy of a saint is enough
[36:20]to evoke in you the deepest emotion the most frantic grief and
[36:25]a spirit and an exultation and spirit where fear and death and
[36:35]danger shrink to to unconsidered trifles you know what he says he
[36:39]says even if you're the more cruel most cool person nothing affects
[36:41]you but when you read the story of her saying that will
[36:46]move you that you'll be touched by it you'll cry for the
[36:48]tragedy of her saying and you'll be so inspired by it that
[36:53]you won't fear death anymore you want for your pain anymore you
[36:55]won't fear all these things that we fear because you're so inspired
[36:58]by Imam Husain and that's why the poet he says remember we
[37:05]said one of the reasons why we cry for him and person
[37:09]is because of their reward that Allah gives us for but look
[37:11]look at this beautiful poem what does the poet say about imam
[37:16]hussain he says step ki ki Nene Lali edge Lima through button
[37:19]Lakhan nama I need a julika back here captain lumen come Carol
[37:27]Bella Biederman well are tapped aluminum or Algeria he says I do
[37:32]not cry for you because of the reward Yabba yes there is
[37:36]a great reward we don't doubt that but that's not why I
[37:40]cry for you I cry for you because I cannot help but
[37:42]cry for you because the grant tragedy is so great I don't
[37:46]do it for the reward I do it because of the magnitude
[37:49]of the tragedy he says that you shed so much blood on
[37:54]the Day of Ashura and I would not shed a few tears
[37:55]for you and it's narrative' that one day Abu Hamza Somali we
[38:04]said that imam zein al-abideen was amongst al-bakr onl Kamsa the five
[38:08]that used to cry day-in day-out he cried for imam hussain's tragedy
[38:14]so much so much for twenty or forty years for the rest
[38:16]of his life he would cry for him I'm saying every day
[38:21]Abu Hamza Somali was one of the Companions of imam zein al-abideen
[38:23]so he comes to him one day he sees him crying this
[38:28]is years after Karbala after the tragedy of Ashura he sees him
[38:35]crying Muhammad tells him my dear Imam isn't it enough crying isn't
[38:38]it time for you to stop crying and get over it move
[38:44]on as we say and then he tells him didn't your uncle
[38:47]Hamza LME optela omocha Hamza LM Uchitel judoka Ali be Saif Al
[38:54]Kut Lola comrade raka Rama - come in Elijah he said wasn't
[38:56]your grandfather your uncle all your relatives they were killed you're used
[39:00]to this it's a norm it's something usual and your family Shahada
[39:03]martyrdom every couple of months someone from your families killed this is
[39:08]an honour for you but why can't you get over this one
[39:11]is specific Imam Hussain's death get over it look at the answer
[39:16]of imam zein al-abideen imam zein al-abideen alehissalaam he tells him shakeela
[39:20]husaria kaya a bar hamza he tells him none at all and
[39:28]i yeah yeah Kalama - naina my aha like inhale semi-auto Donna
[39:37][Music] and number nine so beer to a hook at the table
[39:44]Amer - he said yes you're right it is a custom for
[39:49]a smart Saddam but however have you ever heard or seen of
[39:54]any time in which the woman Avila shown along who were taken
[39:58]as prisoners of war in which they were beat yeah yeah and
[40:05]in which they were humiliates it yes for the man that is
[40:08]a custom but not for the woman the woman should be in
[40:12]the houses protected and then he tells him a novel to Allah
[40:17]Almighty whatcha want e in language and a carro to fulfill beta
[40:22]hey Manila hey my women Shiva and Alaska bar when one idea
[40:31]Noddy a couple boredom follow me he says every time he says
[40:40]I can't get over Karbala you know why is it every time
[40:42]I look at my aunt every time I see my sisters that
[40:47]were there in Karbala I remember how they would run away from
[40:51]110 to the other I remember how they burned the tent and
[40:57]how they would run out of the ten screaming while they cried
[41:01]out burnt down the tents upon the oppressors who lay here on
[41:10]your own what's a living Vala Muhammad in a color billion kalamoon
