[0:11]all right respected Elders the younger ones brothers and sisters in Islam
[0:20]May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon you all assalamu
[0:24]alaikum mankind has been gifted different to all other creations we have
[0:34]been given also with this gift has bestowed upon us we have
[0:42]also been entitled with some responsibilities and duties other creations may not
[0:49]have the responsibilities and duties that we have and therefore we will
[0:56]be questioned about our duties and responsibilities on this Earth foreign one
[1:12]by one every single one individual shall be questioned about their duties
[1:18]above their responsibilities above their rights how have we taken care of
[1:27]our responsibilities about the rights we mentioned Allah has mentioned this a
[1:33]number of times that there are rights between me and Allah the
[1:39]rights of Allah and there are rights between others with myself between
[1:49]me and others and at the verse Ayah 36 Allah reminds us
[1:57]Allah worship him alone obey him alone and do not associate any
[2:13]Partners to Allah after the command of worshiping Allah and not associating
[2:26]any partner stream the next most Duty upon every human individual to
[2:36]be kind and good towards one's parents that is one verse other
[2:44]verses you find informs his son do not associate any Partners to
[2:53]Allah and he reminds the command of Allah be good and kind
[3:05]towards your parents Allah mentioned this so many times in the Quran
[3:11]or in another verse Allah goes further than the than the commod
[3:17]of being good towards your parents he says ordained and decreed that
[3:30]you worship none other than him and he has ordained and decreed
[3:38]that you show goodness and kindness towards your parents meaning it's an
[3:44]absolute order and command from Allah [Music] show love and kindness towards
[3:55]your parents number two it's an absolute Amro in the sense that
[3:59]I must show goodness towards my parents whether they are near or
[4:02]far whether they're alive or dead remain performing goodness towards your parents
[4:08]whether they of my same Faith same religion or not continue show
[4:14]goodness towards your parents that's why you find after the worship of
[4:26]Allah after this this point in Theology and belief the imams of
[4:31]the and the holy prophet would remind that the most important duty
[4:36]that we all have is goodness and kindness towards the parents and
[4:43]they mentioned the importance of the rewards for it and they mention
[4:48]the importance of the goodness and benefits for you in this Dunya
[4:51]and what great nights than these nights of the holy month of
[4:55]Ramadan to remind ourselves about the importance of Duty importance of the
[5:01]rights and importance of the responsibilities we have towards our parents whether
[5:07]they are alive may Allah give them long life and we continue
[5:12]to be good towards them and if they have passed away does
[5:16]not mean that my duty towards my parents have ended no many
[5:21]people became bar they became good of sons and daughters towards their
[5:27]parents performing goodness after their parents passed away with their son towards
[5:34]them with goodness towards their parents a man came to the holy
[5:39]apother of all the ugly sins of all the Haram sins of
[5:53]all the disturbing sins I've performed them all performed them all performed
[5:57]them on the sajira now I've come to you ya rasulullah is
[6:04]a form and source of emancipation of my sins provide me a
[6:11]technique what shall I do are your parents alive hey he said
[6:20]my father is alive my mother has passed away he said immediately
[6:25]go and be good towards your father for your goodness and sound
[6:30]towards your father shall be a source of Toba of Allah accepting
[6:37]your Toba and as that man walked away the holy prophet said
[6:43]um if only his mother was also alive that that source of
[6:51]emancipation would have been faciliated in the sense that goodness towards both
[6:57]parents goodness towards your father goodness towards your mother sometimes we think
[7:03]goodness towards my father and goodness towards my mother's only on that
[7:07]one dedicated day and I'm getting confused in Canada it's one day
[7:11]Mother's Day Father's Day and the United Kingdom is a different day
[7:14]in the Middle East is a different day as if every day
[7:19]or every nation has its own Mother's Day or fathers they know
[7:22]in Islam every day is Mother's Day every day is Father's day
[7:29]every day sun and goodness towards your towards your parents that's why
[7:35]every single individual should try their best to be good towards their
[7:39]parents to be kind towards their parents to try their best to
[7:43]ensure that their parents are proud of them there was a young
[7:49]man who was playing in his football team and he wasn't the
[7:55]best player and the coach would always put him on the sidelines
[7:58]on the bench bench one would they call them these days and
[8:01]every time his father would come to the game and give him
[8:06]support and give him support and give him support for years upon
[8:10]years and it was the final the following week of the tournament
[8:15]and this young boy who received the message that today sadly your
[8:22]father has passed away it was very sad tears in his eyes
[8:28]he informed the coach that my father's passed away I need to
[8:31]go give me a few days off a few days passed that
[8:36]young man came for the final for the final match of the
[8:39]year and he begged the teacher he begged the coach he begged
[8:48]him oh manager oh coach can I play today the coach said
[8:52]throb the year you've been not the best player he said still
[8:57]if there is an opportunity for me to play let me play
[9:02]today they had the team sheet and that young boy was warming
[9:05]up warming up warming up and then in the second half through
[9:11]the insisting of the young boy insisting towards the teacher towards the
[9:16]trainer towards the coach he said okay you can go and play
[9:20]now he played in the team and he gave his absolute best
[9:23]the best performance ever so much so that the coach was so
[9:30]impressed he said you played so amazing passing dribbling shooting doing everything
[9:35]the best way you have been playing like that in the last
[9:40]few months in the team that you've been you have been playing
[9:42]like this in the last few years what's happened today he looks
[9:47]at the coach he said coach for the last few years my
[9:52]father used to come and watch he used to come and give
[9:58]me support he used to show so much love and every time
[10:00]he wanted me to play my best but oh coach did you
[10:06]know my father was blind and he couldn't really see me but
[10:09]now that he passed away I know in the heavens he is
[10:14]actually seeing me and I wanted to show my best performance for
[10:18]him to be proud of me and to show that goodness in
[10:23]my sports game in my game today to show that father now
[10:29]that you're here I really now that you're seeing my much let
[10:31]me show it to you with the support and all the support
[10:33]you've given me that's I want to show my exam and goodness
[10:38]here also for you to be proud of me sometimes goodness maybe
[10:45]in just seeing our parents seeing our parents the holy prophet would
[10:52]state that for example a person who looks at his parents with
[10:59]kindness with rahma with a rough for every nothera for every look
[11:10]that he sees his parents with love and could and kindness [Music]
[11:17]foreign what if I look at my parents 100 times a day
[11:32]a hundred nadra in a day do I receive the throb of
[11:38]a hundred heart many of us have been to Hajj many of
[11:40]us yearned to go to Hajj we've been once to for example
[11:45]some have been three times to hide but how many people have
[11:49]been in their lifetime a hundred times the holy prophet said yes
[11:58]indeed Allah the most great shall reward you even for a hundred
[12:05]looks at your beloved father at your beloved mother so much so
[12:13]that this love and kindness towards them has no excuse me dear
[12:18]brothers and sisters there is no excuse to ever say I have
[12:24]stopped in my kindness towards my parents we have a narration from
[12:31]they stayed Allah there are three moments that there is no roxa
[12:45]in it there is no leeway in it who are they or
[12:52]what are they he says to provide and take care of the
[13:03]Amana whether the person giving you the Amana brain or forgering whether
[13:10]they were good people or fight your Sinners corrupt people they've given
[13:17]an Amana you must take care of that trust protect that trust
[13:21]that's why we find that the imams were known for the Amanda
[13:25]taking care of the Amana the holy prophet was known as al-ameen
[13:30]the most trustworthy number one number two that which has no roxa
[13:38]in it and to be loyal towards the Covenant and promise that
[13:49]you give the ray of factory where that person who gives you
[13:59]a promise or you give a promise to them was a good
[14:01]person or a corrupt person was a Muslim or a non-muslim you
[14:10]must aweful you must adhere and try your best to take care
[14:15]of that promise that you gave them or don't say I gave
[14:20]a promise to my young child I was just a frost once
[14:22]no I said to the promise they gave the promise to the
[14:27]Elder to promise to the younger to promise to everyone foreign being
[14:44]good and kind towards one parents whether the parents were Fajr were
[14:51]sinners were corrupt or they were good people individuals we must continue
[14:59]to show kindness and goodness towards them hence you find amiral meaning
[15:07]in his States [Music] oh dear once be good and kind towards
[15:22]your parents tomorrow your children would be good and kind towards you
[15:27]we've all heard the statement what goes around foreign that's a very
[15:39]nice moving clip it's an advert on TV and it's also on
[15:42]some of these social media channels I advise myself and others to
[15:48]regularly see this parents husband and wife the son and the grandfather
[15:56]the grandfather who was elderly and weak came to the table the
[16:04]dining table to have dinner the Sun and the daughter-in-law and their
[16:11]grandson the grandson of the grandfather as they were going to have
[16:20]that dinner the elderly grandfather was finding it difficult to eat and
[16:25]after some time the father of the young child told his own
[16:36]father go sit in that table aside and now have made some
[16:41]pots and plates and bowls for you on your own section and
[16:46]the elderly grandfather went to that section and it started to eat
[16:54]on his own the next day when it was the time of
[16:58]the dining for them to meet at the dining table the young
[17:04]boy the grandson was seen making his own set of bowls and
[17:11]plates and Cutlery the father said what is this he said father
[17:17]I'm making this for when you become of an elderly age of
[17:22]an older age for you to have something like that like the
[17:24]same way that you prepared for the granddad for my grinder immediately
[17:29]the father woke up from that statement and told his father come
[17:34]back father come back and the statement says the caption says your
[17:42]parents did not get tired taking care of you when you are
[17:49]younger so don't think of it of it being of a Troublesome
[17:52]moment for you to take care and be good towards them when
[17:57]they are of elderly age man came to the sexy mom he
[18:05]said my father has become of an elderly age so much so
[18:10]that I have to feed him so much so that I have
[18:14]to clothe him and so much so that I have to sometimes
[18:16]carry him and take him to the bathroom and for him to
[18:21]enter for his own needs what should I do should I continue
[18:28]to take care of him Imam said the 60 mom says continue
[18:36]to perform such and take care of your father and feed him
[18:45]feeding upon feeding with your own two hands and this shall be
[18:52]a gender for you this shall be a source of Jannah and
[18:55]Paradise for you this sound towards your parents and no doubt however
[19:03]much I try to be good and good and good towards my
[19:06]father and my mother I'll never be able to return the great
[19:13]son they showed towards me when I was younger that's why our
[19:17]beloved Prophet Muhammad he reminds us of the rights of the father
[19:30]that a child or a son or a daughter should never ever
[19:36]you send me should never ever name their father call out their
[19:42]father by there first name sometimes you find some places some culture
[19:48]some etiquettes of some parts of the world one son calls his
[19:53]father Homer come here what are you having for breakfast what happened
[19:56]for supper and this is being instilled in our young sons and
[19:59]daughters that is fine you don't need to say Baba you don't
[20:04]need to say Habibi you don't need to say Avatar all you
[20:06]need to say is just say his first name why do you
[20:10]think like that no this is not the etiquette you find in
[20:14]Hadith Hussain would come towards the home my beloved mother oh flower
[20:24]of our eyes o light of our eyes oh beloved one when
[20:29]they see their father the love the reciprocal of love between the
[20:39]Father the Son the son the Father the Son and the mother
[20:45]and the young Elizabethan with their grandfather and secondly says that when
[20:51]the the right of the son daughter towards their father that day
[20:59]that that sun that child should have that respect towards the father
[21:08]that when the father's walking the father knows that when he is
[21:12]walking the Sun Oaks for a few steps behind a few steps
[21:15]to the side should not be disrespectful in his mashib disrespectful in
[21:22]his walking ahead of the father for example ignoring the father not
[21:26]taking care of the father not respecting the respect that one needs
[21:34]to give towards a Elder of the comedian eldendi town in the
[21:40]city an elder also the son and daughter should be so respectful
[21:46]in every forms of life that they should be not a source
[21:53]of what of an insult towards their father sometimes you find some
[21:57]children some young ones they are a source of honor of that
[22:03]when you see them may say may Allah bless your father that
[22:10]he had such a tarabia towards you he gave you such an
[22:13]upbringing he took care of the son took care of the daughter
[22:19]he taught you Quran he taught you that he taught you the
[22:22]target the culture he told you everything the true teachings but sometimes
[22:27]you see some sons and daughters and you see them saying where's
[22:32]the father Where is the turbia what happened to their father started
[22:36]was the son and daughter and this is something that we need
[22:43]to remember the importance of our sons and daughters having the great
[22:47]that we have that responsibility that when they see us they remind
[22:52]themselves of our fathers of our sons of our sons and our
[22:57]sons would remind ourselves of our fathers of ourselves the parents here
[23:02]need to know that their sons are a source of Honor for
[23:08]them that's why Imam would say that as the haq of the
[23:14]Father the haq the right of the father is for a person
[23:15]to know that the father is the US is the origin is
[23:20]the root and we are the pharah we are the what the
[23:27]branches and any goodness from me I should thank my father from
[23:35]it is my father who was the one who instilled that blessing
[23:38]within me he was the originator and if he wasn't there you
[23:46]wouldn't come to existence and thank your Lord thank Allah subhanahu wa
[23:52]ta'ala for this blessing for this name of your father take care
[23:56]of the rights and responsibilities and duties towards one's father and you
[24:04]find this in the life of the bait you find this in
[24:06]the life of the prophets of Allah you find this in for
[24:12]example Prophet Ismail and his father prophet and he asks and informs
[24:23]Prophet Ismael his son what do you think of the command of
[24:26]Allah immediately his son says oh Father you perform as you have
[24:35]been ordered Jordanian you shall see that your son would be one
[24:41]of the patient ones patience in the armor of Allah with his
[24:47]son one of the look man the wise with his son that
[24:54]his son would listen and adhere to the teachings of his father
[24:58]sometimes a father wants to give an advice towards his son the
[25:03]son is running away the sun is running away not listening to
[25:07]the great experience the great tajrabba the great khibra the great lessons
[25:14]that the father has in life that's why you find he would
[25:19]sit down with his sons Imam Hassan Imam Hussain he would say
[25:23]to them for example ya Pune I would listen yeah accustom your
[25:31]tongue to speak nicely oh beloved Son oh beloved one and he
[25:37]would sit down with them and they would listen and adhere to
[25:39]the teachings of their father or you find for example in these
[25:47]days and nights we are remembering Abu Talib the uncle of rasulullah
[25:51]the father of so much love towards his father so much love
[26:00]towards the one who took care of him at a young age
[26:07]to care of his sons they were the ones who had the
[26:17]great turbia of Abu Talib Abu Talib who presented and he knew
[26:23]the great the great kindness and the great respect and the great
[26:30]love of rasulullah towards his cousin would give him the best love
[26:35]of Allah he had so much love towards rasulullah that he protected
[26:48]rasulullah he defended rasulullah he was the one who was firm on
[26:52]the faith a he was the one who would show love towards
[27:01]his beloved nephew rasulullah when they asked us when they asked him
[27:08]said you are the Elder of the calm of the tribe tell
[27:15]your nephew tell your nephew to stop teaching what he is teaching
[27:22]to stop inviting the people of us towards Islam towards the faith
[27:28]towards God towards Allah stop rasulullah from that no in fact he
[27:37]encouraged rasulullah to be on the teachings of tohed on the teachings
[27:47]had towards his beloved father that to remember these days and nights
[27:53]that love towards rasulullah so much so that one rasulullah heard the
[28:00]sad news and grief of Abu Talib and his wife say the
[28:04]Khadijah he changed the name of the whole year and he called
[28:10]it the year the year of grief a love between a son
[28:19]and towards the father that is aware of the rights of the
[28:24]father and a love like no other we can see on the
[28:28]day of ABBA Abdullah Hussain on the day of Ashura the love
[28:34]like no other is that love of towards his father my beloved
[28:50]father the son's heat is making me thirsty and thirsty I'm entering
[28:57]the battlefield but O Father I am dying of thirst Hussain informs
[29:07]his son continue to perform what you are performing for I shall
[29:16]give you the guarantee that rasulullah shall quench your thirst in Jannah
[29:24]that's love between a son and a father that as he makes
[29:27]his steps towards the tough of karbala Abdullah he looked at his
[29:37]beloved Son why does he look at his beloved Son because only
[29:41]a father knows how difficult it is for the sun to depart
[29:44]from his beloved eyes for he looked at him in that sense
[29:51]looking at him that he knows no longer return would go towards
[30:01]Jannah towards that path of Allah that is the love of a
[30:09]son towards the Father the respect and goodness towards the father and
[30:14]the love that above Abdullah a father had towards their son we
[30:20]ask Allah to give us the tofi to always be better and
[30:25]good and kindness towards our parents towards our father towards our mother
[30:30]and we ask them to pray for us for the Hadith stage
[30:47]as Mr [Music]
