[0:10][Music] s [Music] Shah [Music] [Music] abdah yeah Shah [Music] [Music] I
[1:55]begin in the almighty God the compassionate the merciful the one who
[2:02]has created everything in utmost Perfection and May the peace and blessings
[2:06]of the almighty God be upon his pure and beloved messenger the
[2:12]peak of his creation the symbol of humanity the holy prophet Muhammad
[2:24]s and his Immaculate progeny of the bit peace be upon them
[2:33]is especially the leader of our time the awaited Savior IM may
[2:38]Allah hasten his reappearance and make us all amongst the sincere and
[2:43]dedicated servants respected brothers and sisters the prophet Sall in this profound
[3:22]statement Hadith states that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has divided wisdom to
[3:30]to 10 parts has been given nine out of 10 parts that's
[3:41]90% and all other creations all other people have been given one
[3:48]part this Hadith is narrated by famous Sunni Scholars has narrated this
[3:57]alalani has narrated this aabi has narrated this another interesting variation of
[4:05]this Hadith says the following this is narrated by the Sunni scholarb
[4:11]in his book he narrates this Hadith from the prophet sallallahu alai
[4:20]in the following manner IM aliam has nine out of 10 parts
[4:24]of wisdom and people have one part right in this Hadith the
[4:32]prophet States and even that one part that people have IMI shares
[4:37]them that's this is the profound wisdom of as the followers of
[4:48]it is incumbent on us to be familiar with his knowledge with
[4:53]his wisdom with his Sciences I know you're all educated you go
[4:57]to school you go to college you have professors you have scientific
[5:03]fields that you pursue the least that I can do to my
[5:06]Imam is to study his sciences and share it in your community
[5:11]take the wisdom of go to your teacher and tell your teachers
[5:17]what the IM taught us 14 centuries ago you have a teacher
[5:25]in philosophy economics biology you name it the Imam has fascinating contributions
[5:30]that's because the source of his knowledge is divine it's from Allah
[5:37]and hence he famously stated ask me before you lose me because
[5:42]I know about the paths of of the heavens more than the
[5:48]paths of the earth I know more about this universe and the
[5:52]secrets of this universe than this small planet that we live in
[5:57]that is the knowledge of and that is the wisdom of tonight
[6:05]I would like to share with you the contributions of the IM
[6:11]in multiple Fields yesterday We examined brief glimpses from the scientific knowledge
[6:20]of tonight we will continue that Journey so we can better appreciate
[6:27]the contributions of the Imam so we are inspired by his knowledge
[6:31]so we can trust his knowledge and once you fall in love
[6:34]with the knowledge of Ali you cannot go wrong you will feel
[6:40]a deep sense of purpose you will feel like the Imam is
[6:43]always by your side guiding you Allah is the one who guides
[6:49]us but Allah has tools and one of the greatest tools for
[6:51]Allah to guide us Isam the greatest area that the Imam contributed
[7:00]in is in the Holy Quran today we would not know the
[7:04]Quran if it weren't for the knowledge of the that Muslims have
[7:11]access to today is mainly from IM Abbas you will find many
[7:20]Sunni Scholars taking the T of the Quran from IB Abbas he's
[7:23]the cousin of the Prophet sallallah alai Al Abbas was the student
[7:31]student of IMI and most of the knowledge of the Quran he
[7:36]got from when you see the IM analyzing verses in the Holy
[7:41]Quran giving us completely New Perspectives it's truly fascinating one day IM
[7:48]was in meca was also there this was during the caliphate of
[7:56]Omar IM Ali notices that Omar walks up to the black stone
[8:02]if you've ever been to or you know that the black stone
[8:08]is fixed on one of the corners of the KA before IIM
[8:12]goes to the stone and he touches the stone or he kisses
[8:20]the stone and then he says the following statement he says I
[8:26]bear witness that you oh piece of stone cannot benefit me nor
[8:30]can you harm me but the only reason why I'm embracing you
[8:36]and touching you is because I saw do that so I'm just
[8:42]trying to follow his Sunnah otherwise I don't see any benefit in
[8:45]doing that that stone cannot harm me it cannot benefit me IM
[8:52]responded to him he interjected he told him and who told you
[8:58]it does not benefit you and it does not harm you oh
[9:00]it does he tells himass I know you never speak without evidence
[9:05]can you give me evidence from the Holy Quran he says yes
[9:08]I yes I'll share with you evidence from the Holy Quran the
[9:15]IM recited to him verse 172 Allah subhana tala States it's one
[9:40]of the profound verses in the Holy Quran but it's also a
[9:46]mysterious verse it's very vague what is Allah speaking about in this
[9:50]verse Allah subhana tala tells us in this verse that a covenant
[9:53]happened with the children of Adam when Allah subhah wa ta'ala assigned
[9:58]the children of Adam in their loins and their backs Allah subhana
[10:05]T had a conversation with them am I not your Lord this
[10:10]is before you were all created Allah had a conversation with your
[10:14]soul Allah revealed the existance of his soul to you and asked
[10:17]you am I not your lord you all said yes Allah says
[10:22]okay now I will try you I will bring you to this
[10:27]world to see if you stay true to this Covenant on the
[10:29]day of judgment don't say I did not know now this could
[10:34]be a very vague verse when did this happen sheds light on
[10:39]this beautiful verse he adds a new layer a new a new
[10:41]dimension to this verse the Imam told that when Allah made this
[10:50]Covenant with us he wrote our names on a piece of paper
[10:56]on a scroll and Allah subhah wa ta'ala gave those Scrolls to
[11:00]an angel that angel today is in the black stone in Al
[11:05]and this black stone testifies on the day of judgment who went
[11:10]to Haj and who worshiped Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala that's why if you've
[11:14]ever done the TA who here has gone to the Hajj and
[11:19]done the TA you've done the TA right have you noticed that
[11:21]when you reach the black stone because that's where the TA starts
[11:24]you make seven rounds so anytime you get to the new round
[11:29]have you noticed that people speak to the black stone they wave
[11:32]to the black stone why do we do that this is the
[11:36]Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi Al and it's must to say
[11:39]to the Blackstone I have fulfilled my am which am the am
[11:46]is in the world of particles before you were born when Allah
[11:52]subhana wa tala spoke to your souls Allah made a covenant with
[11:54]you an am I'll bring you to D don't forget about me
[11:59]don't go and worship the world worship me the black stone will
[12:01]testify for you on the day of judgment that you worshiped Allah
[12:05]subhanahu wa'ta'ala how would you have this knowledge my dear brothers and
[12:09]sisters without now I know what many of you are wondering none
[12:15]of us remember this incident of Allah speaking to our soul that's
[12:19]part of the trial however the effect of that conversation with Allah
[12:25]is in your F you've heard of the F right the f
[12:29]is that internal disposition that internal compass that points you to Allah
[12:34]where did Allah give you the to recognize him to know right
[12:41]from wrong it was in that world of particles when Allah spoke
[12:44]to your soul that's why comments here he says none of us
[12:49]remember it but the of Allah is ingrained in your mind in
[12:58]your subconscious mind that's why in the subconscious mind of every human
[13:03]being there is the potential and the tendency to believe in a
[13:07]higher power to believe in Allah subhah wa ta'ala such that even
[13:10]scientists who are atheists they testify that the human brain has been
[13:18]programmed to believe in God to believe in a higher power that
[13:20]all happened in the world of particles and the subconscious mind is
[13:24]extremely important most of the decis the decisions that you make they're
[13:29]they're based on your subconscious mind not your conscious mind therefore what
[13:34]you feed your subconscious mind is extremely important what you expose yourself
[13:43]to is extremely important do you know how much bits of information
[13:48]your subconscious mind can take in per second I don't think there's
[13:53]any processor out there in the world that can do that your
[13:58]subconscious mind can take 20 million bits of information per second whereas
[14:04]your conscious mind can only take 40 bits 40 versus 20 million
[14:10]that's why the subconscious is so important that's why Islam wants you
[14:14]to hear the Adan every day to pray every day why because
[14:16]you're strengthening your subconscious mind and that's how the world of advertising
[14:21]works why do these companies want you to see their logo as
[14:24]much as possible they'll pay millions of dollars right and that halftime
[14:31]of the Super Bowl just so people see the logo see the
[14:33]company name because they are inserting their logo into your subconscious mind
[14:38]one day you'll eventually buy their product that's how the world of
[14:44]advertising works but no one can outsmart Allah subhana wa tala when
[14:47]it comes to the world of advertising Allah already did that before
[14:51]you were born he stored his in your subconscious mind who other
[14:57]than after the prophet Al can give you such knowledge the contributions
[15:03]of in The quranic Sciences are unmatched and every single Muslim is
[15:11]indebted to the knowledge of without him we would not understand the
[15:14]Quran properly that is one area of contribution the second area of
[15:19]contribution that I would like to share with you tonight is one
[15:25]that's truly fascinating it is the contributions of IM Ali in the
[15:31]world of Economics today one of the most important aspects of Our
[15:36]Lives is the economy people vote based on the economic conditions people
[15:41]care about the economy the stock goes up the stock goes down
[15:46]everyone's affected by it the economy is one of the most important
[15:50]dimensions in our lives but today we find despite our technological advancements
[15:59]despite our greater access to Natural Resources you still have billions of
[16:06]people who are stuck in poverty today the world with all its
[16:09]power with all its colleges and universities and governments has not been
[16:14]able to solve the crisis of poverty do you know my dear
[16:20]brothers and sisters that nearly a billion people a billion people three
[16:25]times the population of the US live on less than $2 a
[16:31]a day can you imagine we go shop left and right we
[16:34]go to a restaurant easily spend a couple of hundred with our
[16:39]friends alhamdulillah may Allah increase the blessings that's fine but I want
[16:42]you to know that there are a bill there's a billion people
[16:45]out there who live on less than $2 a day and half
[16:51]of the world population 4 billion people they live on less than
[16:55]$6 a day that's the crisis of poverty all of this poverty
[17:02]is killing how many children per day do you know how many
[17:04]children die every single day because of poverty according to UNICEF which
[17:10]belongs to the United Nations every single day 22,000 children die around
[17:18]the world from poverty that is 15 children per minute every 4
[17:25]seconds a child is dying because of poverty the world today has
[17:31]failed the poor with our with all of our Science and Technology
[17:34]there are still people who go hungry there are still people dying
[17:39]from malnutrition and starvation one of the greatest contributions of alam whom
[17:46]we are commemorating tonight is that the Imam was able to eliminate
[17:50]poverty only within 4 years as he was ruling he eliminated poverty
[17:59]from his areas not a single person would sleep hungry at night
[18:05]in the government of how did the Imam achieved that I will
[18:08]share with you some steps that the Imam took to eliminate poverty
[18:14]and this is very important for us to know so we can
[18:16]appreciate the legacy of number one the Imam instructed his Governors not
[18:27]to be obsessed with with charging taxes but rather to encourage people
[18:33]in their society to develop the land to start new business opportunities
[18:40]IM aliam has a beautiful Treatise to his Governor Malik he sent
[18:45]him to Egypt the Imam tells Malik alar in this Treatise he
[18:53]tells him he tells him Malik I want you to be more
[19:05]concerned about developing the Land Development projects than levying taxes and then
[19:14]the Imam gives him interesting advice the Imam says because at the
[19:17]end of the day if you want taxes to fund your government
[19:20]the more there are business opportunities in your country the more there's
[19:25]development the more you'll get taxes anyway so don't go and suffocate
[19:33]people with a lot of taxes the Imam encouraged his Governors to
[19:36]lower taxes and to encourage their people their constituents to start businesses
[19:43]to develop the Land Development projects that was one way that the
[19:51]Imam did in order to combat poverty and in the government of
[19:53]the Imam it was very easy to establish a business that's one
[19:56]factor that gives you a good healthy economy Unfortunately today the Muslim
[20:01]world has abandoned the teachings of Islam Today in some Muslim countries
[20:07]it's the most difficult to start a business I don't know how
[20:14]many connections you need in some countries and that Minister and this
[20:17]Minister and his cousin and his third cousin and his fifth cousin
[20:19]have to sign and then you have to run for two years
[20:23]pleasing this mayor and bribing that mayor and this person just so
[20:26]they give you a permit to start a business that's the reality
[20:31]in some Muslim countries today so-called Muslim countries come to the West
[20:35]it's much easier to start a business that's why economically the West
[20:39]has prospered the West has implemented the economic policies of Islam more
[20:45]than the Muslim world and that's the sad reality that we are
[20:49]living today taught all Muslim Governors encourage people to start development projects
[20:57]in your territories don't be so obsess obsessed with taxes and fees
[21:02]you'll get the taxes don't worry about it by encouraging development projects
[21:07]the Imam eliminated poverty that was one strategy that he used the
[21:14]second strategy is that the Imam Alam created a welfare state the
[21:17]IM tells Malik Asar there are people in your community they're stuck
[21:22]in poverty there are people who have disabilities there are people who
[21:26]have chronic illnesses there are women who have no one to spend
[21:30]on them she could be a widow a divorce her husband is
[21:35]not spending on her I want you to fix them all a
[21:38]salary from the Muslim treasury we find truly the first government that
[21:44]implemented such an amazing welfare system as the government of Al later
[21:50]A Thousand Years Later these Western countries started the welfare state but
[21:56]14 centuries ago the Imam eliminated ated severe poverty by taking care
[22:02]of these people and sponsoring them who cared about disabled people before
[22:05]the government of the prophet and IM Ali peace be upon them
[22:10]they were considered as people who were worthless in society unfortunately because
[22:14]of the ignorance at the time suddenly Islam comes sponsors them and
[22:19]Islam gives them so much respect such that the Hadith States one
[22:23]of the best Sak that you can give one of the best
[22:27]acts of Charity that you can give is to go to someone
[22:31]who's struggling with a disability and say a nice word to them
[22:34]uplift their Spirits that's one of the best donations that you can
[22:41]give you find that in the government of so that's one way
[22:45]that the Imam used to eliminate poverty another tactic another step that
[22:52]the Imam took in eliminating poverty was to save resources today you
[23:00]have so many countries and people and institutions and nonprofits advocating you
[23:06]know to go green and to respect the environment and to save
[23:12]the resources that we have but 14 centuries ago who thought along
[23:15]these lines you find IM teaching his government employees not to waste
[23:24]an ounce of resources in his letter to his Governors you know
[23:28]what the Imam said says the IM says when you write me
[23:35]a letter because he's Theif so how do the governors communicate with
[23:38]the Khalifa they constantly sent him letters back and forth the Imam
[23:43]says sharpen your pens why sharpen your pens so you can fit
[23:51]in more writing in a page sharpen your pens and don't leave
[23:59]any Gap gaps between the lines and get to the point I
[24:06]don't want any letter to start with five paragraphs this that all
[24:10]these titles I don't want that you get to the point when
[24:13]you write me letters save space save save paper that's that's one
[24:19]way that he used to eliminate poverty he saved so much resources
[24:23]he would give it to those who were in need and that's
[24:27]truly amazing and fascinating my dear de brothers and sisters that thought
[24:31]at this level 14 centuries ago another strategy that the Imam used
[24:39]is that he would go to the market in kufa and he
[24:43]would encourage the merchants and the Traders and the businessmen to reduce
[24:49]their working hours now you would think wait a minute working less
[24:52]that's going to harm the economy no that actually helps the economy
[24:57]in facts France WR this from 1998 to 2002 they reduced the
[25:06]working week from 39 hours to 35 hours guess what happened in
[25:11]those four years 98 to 2002 simply by reducing the work hours
[25:16]by 5 hours they created 350,000 jobs and implemented this 14 centuries
[25:26]ago the Imam told his community to work hard but don't be
[25:32]Workaholics don't be in the market all day long buying and selling
[25:35]go to your family go to your spirituality today one of the
[25:42]reasons why we are very stressed out as a nation the levels
[25:45]of stress today in America are crazy many people are stressed out
[25:50]anxiety loneliness depression chronic depression Suicidal Thoughts there is so much stress
[25:59]on us to work hard and hard and hard IM would go
[26:03]to the market he would encourage them he wouldn't force people but
[26:06]he'd encouraged them go home you've already done your business Allah will
[26:10]put Baraka in it don't you want to go see your wife
[26:13]and children go and spend some time with them I tell you
[26:18]it's very sad that some of us in our families in our
[26:20]lives we work so hard 18 hours a day I know people
[26:24]in the community who work 18 hour 18 hours a day I
[26:27]don't know when they sleep when they eat one day they see
[26:29]their family I really don't know but I do know one thing
[26:37]once there was a brother who was working very hard 18 hours
[26:39]a day he was working on his business for years one day
[26:45]I saw him he was extremely exhausted I told him what's the
[26:50]matter with you why are you so exhausted say I've been working
[26:53]18 hours a day 18 hours a day why are you working
[26:58]18 hours a day alhamdulillah you're doesn't appreciate what you're doing your
[28:00]daughter that you're killing yourself for she's not appreciating it have faith
[28:06]in Allah subhana wa taala your daughter needs you more in the
[28:09]house your compassion your love your guidance your protection she needs that
[28:14]more in the house than you working 18 hours a day the
[28:18]Imam encouraged people to work hard don't be lazy but don't kill
[28:22]yourself don't be a workaholic that's not what your family wants my
[28:28]dear brothers and sisters your family needs your heart and compassion and
[28:32]wisdom and guidance more than they need your money more than they
[28:35]need your business so through this method we also find that the
[28:42]Imam was able to combat poverty and create so many opportunities for
[28:47]people and this is something the Imam achieved my dear brothers and
[28:50]sisters in his government he was able to achieve that and that's
[28:56]truly a miracle four years only four years and those four years
[29:02]were plagued with Civil Wars the people of Basra they waged a
[29:05]war against him the battle of the J mua waged Wars against
[29:10]him the wars against him the IM was surrounded with trouble and
[29:14]problem and his own people disobeying him yet the Imam was able
[29:18]to eliminate severe poverty that's something that tonight we must stand and
[29:22]honor as the legacy of and today the world needs these lessons
[29:28]and I invite you to study these lessons and go out there
[29:32]in society in the name of IM aliam bring these solutions to
[29:36]Poverty we Muslims have to be the pioneers of bringing Solutions Allah
[29:40]gave you all the solutions that you need in the Holy Quran
[29:44]and in the school of so you find that this is a
[29:48]fascinating contribution the Imam was truly a genius when it came to
[29:57]giving Solutions out of nowhere problems would be popping up and brought
[30:01]to him and the Imam instantly on the spot would give you
[30:06]a solution I know yesterday we shared a math problem that inspired
[30:09]many of you I'll share with you another mathematical solution that the
[30:15]Imam brought that's truly fascinating for those who love math I know
[30:18]some people they hate math so maybe this is not for you
[30:23]but it's still interesting by the way there are some very complex
[30:27]mathematical equations that the Imam gave those require a math class with
[30:32]a board so I'm not going to give you those difficult ones
[30:36]but here's a very interesting one just to show you the contributions
[30:39]of the Imam to all these sciences and how he came up
[30:45]with Solutions so one day three people come to the Imam oh
[30:48]Hassan we've got a problem they're fighting what's the matter with you
[30:52]why are you fighting they Inherited property from their father father and
[31:01]objects from their father now they need to divide the inheritance one
[31:07]of the objects that they were inheriting was 17 camels one of
[31:13]them has half of the share the second one has a third
[31:19]of the share and the third one has a ninth of the
[31:22]share now where's the problem they don't want to divide a camel
[31:29]in half each one wants a whole complete camel so if you
[31:32]have 17 camels and you want to give the first guy his
[31:36]half of the share how much do you need to give him
[31:40]what's half of 17 eight and a half well you can't give
[31:42]him eight and a half camels they're fighting sharing is caring share
[31:48]it half of it no no no I want a full camel
[31:50]sometimes I really feel bad for the Imam having to go through
[31:55]these problems of people and to bring them Solutions but they were
[32:00]fighting the IM says it's okay stop fighting I'll solve the crisis
[32:03]for you the IM brought one of his camels and he told
[32:08]them here I will lend you a camel borrow it from me
[32:10]and then let's divide the inheritance according to your share and let's
[32:17]see what happens so they had 17 the Imam gives them how
[32:20]many one so now how many camels do they have 18 the
[32:25]first guy who gets his half how much do you give him
[32:27]nine that's half of 18 y take your nine camels Allah let's
[32:33]come to the second guy his share is a third what's a
[32:40]third of 18 18 divide by three six y take your six
[32:44]camels and go Allah the last guy his share was one nth
[32:48]of The Inheritance what's 1 nth of 18 two so he took
[32:55]his two camels now let's add them up the first guy had
[33:01]nine the second guy had how much six what's 9 + 6
[33:03]15 and the last one had how much two what's 15 +
[33:09]2 17 y you got your 17 now the last one the
[33:13]18th it's mine I gave it to you y I'm going to
[33:18]take it back problem solved this is the genius of I know
[33:25]some of you tonight will not sleep trying to figure out how
[33:28]the Imam added all that up and where did this magical camel
[33:31]just come from to solve the problem but that's when you're dealing
[33:37]with you're just dealing at at another level Subhan Allah truly the
[33:42]imam's contributions my dear brothers and sisters are fascinating amazing let's study
[33:49]the life of this great man and finally the last contribution I
[33:52]want to share with you tonight is the contribution of IM Ali
[33:57]to the world of family and his commitment to his family and
[34:03]how he was a pillar in his family you know many times
[34:06]when we are inspired by Imam Hussein Imam Hassan you're inspired by
[34:10]zanab that hero of carala many times we forget that IM Ali
[34:19]is the one who raised the most yes Lady Fatima raised them
[34:24]but she was martyred at a young age they were children when
[34:28]they lost their mother but the one who was there always guiding
[34:31]them strengthening them preparing them was IM Ali raised the most beautiful
[34:41]the most Pious the purest family in the history of humankind that's
[34:46]one of the greatest contributions of the Imam and he was invested
[34:49]in his children early on when they are young we have the
[34:56]ve very famous beautiful story of the IM teaching his daughter Z
[35:03]how to count the Imam told her an Arabic say one so
[35:11]she said one the told her now say two she refused to
[35:17]say two Baba say one she said one okay now say two
[35:19]she would not say two finally the Imam asked her Zab why
[35:23]is it that when I tell you to say one you say
[35:27]it but when I tell you to say two you don't look
[35:29]at the response of Zab who's been raised by Ali and Fa
[35:34]she told him father how can I say to with the tongue
[35:39]that said one Allah that's another level now that's in young zanab
[35:43]imagine zanab is like 2 years old at this time she's learning
[35:45]how to speak how to count and she gives us lessons ined
[35:52]that some adults in our society have not understood the Imam was
[35:58]very committed to this family and the my dear brothers and sisters
[36:01]they teach us at a very young age start with your children
[36:05]today we have a crisis in many communities around the world we're
[36:09]losing many of our children many of our children are going up
[36:14]they have a crisis in their identity they don't feel any connection
[36:17]with their Salah with their Quran it's my fault the parent when
[36:24]my children were young I did not plant those Seeds of Love
[36:28]for the Quran for the Salah we underestimate our children we think
[36:33]they're young inshallah when they grow older we'll teach them IM beautifully
[36:37]teaches us at what at which age to start speaking to our
[36:42]children the Imam States when your child becomes three children who are
[36:49]three now they're speaking full sentences their brain is developed teach them
[36:55]teach them about Allah every day every day my dear brothers and
[37:01]sisters if you want your children inshallah to be the best children
[37:04]every day invest at least an hour or two of your time
[37:09]with your children who are three speak to them about Allah let
[37:12]them know with their small little Minds the attributes of Allah be
[37:17]creative the Hadith States one hour of contemplation you sit you brainstorm
[37:21]how to teach your children is worth more than 70 years of
[37:25]Salah because that's how you guide your children I know children at
[37:30]the age of three might have difficulty understanding God and the concept
[37:34]of God and who God is right they have all these questions
[37:39]they have these childish images of God in their mind but that's
[37:43]okay with your creativity you can teach them you can educate them
[37:46]I remember once my son you know was learning about Allah subhana
[37:51]tala the attributes of God and he was learning that God is
[37:56]always with us and he's always watching us so be careful what
[37:59]you say what you do so I remember one night he was
[38:03]about to sleep he couldn't sleep that night he kept talking he
[38:07]went he went back and forth from his room to our room
[38:11]Baba what's the matter with you he's like Baba honestly I'm scared
[38:14]I told him why Habibi he's like God seeing us without eyes
[38:18]that's pretty spooky and I I I can't sleep tonight now this
[38:23]is a challenge your children will ask you sometimes tough questions like
[38:28]that immediately you you have to be ready give an give them
[38:31]an analogy that will put them at peace I told him Baba
[38:36]close your eyes right now he closed his eyes I told him
[38:38]can you see your room right now like where your bed is
[38:41]he's like yes I can see it I'm like where's the closet
[38:43]he's like there there it's on the left where are the drawers
[38:47]there he described to me his room in our room he was
[38:52]not in his room he closed his eyes and he described to
[38:56]me his room I told him okay now open your eyes I
[38:58]told him how did you describe to me the room and you
[39:02]told me yes yes I see the closet it's to my left
[39:05]your eyes were closed how did you see it it's like well
[39:07]Baba I know of it I have knowledge of it so I
[39:10]know of it I told him just like right now you saw
[39:14]your room while your eyes were closed Allah subhah wa ta'ala knows
[39:17]of the whole universe and he has knowledge of the entire universe
[39:20]even though he has no eyes he went and he slept peacefully
[39:25]that night you have to be creative my dear brothers and sisters
[39:28]as parents be creative in teaching and educating your children this is
[39:34]the investment that IM aliam teaches you to invest in and he
[39:40]invested in the best investment in the history of humankind when you
[39:44]see the guidance of for his children it's truly fascinating always be
[39:50]creative today our teenagers have questions sometimes they'll struggle they don't want
[39:55]to pray you have to come up with effect Ive strategies to
[39:59]motivate them to pray one day a father came to my office
[40:05]years ago he told me say my 14-year-old teenage daughter is addicted
[40:09]to her phone she cannot get her hands off this phone 247
[40:14]WhatsApp Tik Tok Instagram Snapchat she's addicted to it she has no
[40:22]time for anything else now we pray at home together Jama and
[40:25]it's very nice to pray with your family Jama at home always
[40:28]gather your family pray together and then you the father the mother
[40:33]say two minutes of inspiring words to your children it's a peaceful
[40:37]moment so he says she would come and pray with us but
[40:39]I could tell she's not interested she's only doing it to please
[40:44]me the father but she's really not into it one day I
[40:47]called her to pray with us she came and she seemed frustrated
[40:52]she was you know on her social media she did not want
[40:56]to pray and I could tell that she was struggling like she
[40:59]hated praying with me that day so he came up with a
[41:06]creative strategy on the spot to motivate her he told her Baba
[41:09]I have a suggestion today instead of praying on the TBA on
[41:14]the I want you to do suud and pray on your iPhone
[41:20]she looked at me shocked what what do you mean I'm not
[41:27]going to worship the Ione we worship Allah subhana wa tala I
[41:31]told her Baba it only makes sense for you to do suud
[41:36]on your iPhone because the second you get a notification on your
[41:39]iPhone you jump to answer it but Allah sends you five notifications
[41:43]every single day you don't care so what I see is you're
[41:52]worshiping your iPhone anyway so in your Salah just stay true to
[41:53]that and just do suud on the iPhone he says she froze
[42:01]not a word she went back to her room after she prayed
[42:04]of course not on the iPhone she did pray on the turba
[42:07]she went to her room half an hour later she came carrying
[42:10]her iPhone she brought it to me she told me Baba keep
[42:15]this a week passes by and the iPhone was with the father
[42:21]a week later she comes she tells him Baba can I can
[42:24]you give me the iPhone I just need some urgent things to
[42:26]do but I want to thank you the last week of my
[42:31]life has been the most peaceful spiritual week of my life I
[42:34]never realized how much distracted I was now I have time for
[42:39]myself for my spirituality for my parents for my work for my
[42:43]studies I have now time for everything it's these creative strategies my
[42:48]dear brothers and sisters that will save your families and you need
[42:51]to start when they're young and that's what we see in the
[42:58]legacy of finally my dear brothers and sisters we cannot conclude the
[43:09]discussion on the legacy of without being inspired by his words of
[43:15]and really that's also one of his greatest contributions when the Imam
[43:20]just takes you out of this planet he takes you to the
[43:25]heavens where your soul begins to fly towards ah subhanahu wa ta'ala
[43:29]I'll share with you with this narration and I invite you to
[43:35]remember this every single day of your life Abu d one of
[43:38]the companions of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi Al one day he was
[43:41]sitting this is years after IM aliam he was sitting with other
[43:47]Companions and they were discussing this question which companion of the Prophet
[43:52]is the best of companions like who's the best companion he said
[43:56]they mentioned all these different names when it was my turn to
[44:02]say who the best companion was I told them if you ask
[44:08]me I'll tell you the best companion was Al they told me
[44:11]why back it up what did you see from him he told
[44:15]them I don't know about you guys but I'll tell you what
[44:21]I personally saw in the life of Ali one day at night
[44:23]I was around the house of Ali Talib and the IM was
[44:28]with us suddenly I realized Ali was gone he went missing I
[44:33]feared for him did he get lost maybe in those Palm farms
[44:36]in the darkness of the night maybe he got lost so I
[44:41]went searching for Al he just disappeared he says I went in
[44:47]the darkness of that farm trying to see if there is any
[44:52]trace of when suddenly I heard a faint voice coming from a
[44:56]palm tree I went toward that area in the darkness of the
[45:00]night I heard someone crying with such a sad voice someone was
[45:05]saying the following lines of [Music] Dua oh Allah if I am
[45:19]living a long life in your disobedience [Music] oh Allah if my
[45:40]sin is big in my records the books that we have the
[45:44]records that we have to face on the day of judgment oh
[45:45]Allah if I see these huge sins here you look at the
[45:50]inspiration from this Dua [Music] oh Allah if I have all these
[46:10]sins I still never sever My Hope from you oh Allah I
[46:13]know that you'll forgive me as big as I as my sin
[46:18]can be Allah I will never never stop hoping in your mercy
[46:22]that is the hope that Al gives for Humanity that says I
[46:29]went to this voice I wanted to see who is it and
[46:32]then I noticed that this is all alone at night he's reading
[46:38]these duas these verses of Supplication Abu D says at that point
[46:43]I tried to hide myself so he doesn't notice that I'm watching
[46:46]him he says I saw Ali in the middle of the night
[46:50]he prayed he supplicated and then he broke into tears like a
[46:55]mother who's lost her child and then he said the following [Music]
[47:20]oh Allah when I see your mercy I see that my sin
[47:24]is very small but when I look at your greatness and and
[47:30]whom I violated I see my sin is very [Music] big [Music]
[48:04]oh Allah woe upon me if I see sins that I've committed
[48:09]in my book and I've forgotten it but Allah has counted it
[48:14]on the day of judgment what will I do Ya Allah what
[48:16]will I do on the day of judgment if I have to
[48:19]meet my sins and I never repented from them the Imam is
[48:21]teaching us to repent brothers and sisters he says the Imam said
[48:28]those words and then he cried and cried and cried until he
[48:31]fell unconscious I went to touch him he felt his body felt
[48:40]like a dead body so I thought that has died I said
[48:41]I ran to the house of she was behind the door I
[48:51]told her your husband Ali has died she said why what did
[48:53]you see I explained to her what I saw she said no
[48:58]Abu Ali is not dead every single night he falls unconscious from
[49:01]his love of Allah and the fear of Allah that's Ali he
[49:06]says I took some water I went to him I sprayed some
[49:10]water on his face Al regained his Consciousness he said I felt
[49:14]bad for him I told him why do you do this to
[49:18]yourself I have mercy on yourself I feel pity I feel bad
[49:22]for you you know what the Imam said to him he told
[49:25]him you feel bad for me what would you do on the
[49:51]day of judgment if you see me that I have to stand
[49:55]for my trial and I have to stand before Allah subhah wa
[50:00]ta'ala believe me you'll have more pity on Me on the day
[50:03]of judgment the Imam thereby he's teaching us to be serious and
[50:08]ready for the day of judgment with these powerful words now take
[50:12]your hearts to the house of IM Ali throughout his life after
[50:20]the prophet sallallah he was in pain in severe pain but in
[50:27]these three nights Imam Ali was at peace physically he was in
[50:35]a lot of pain his head was struck the poison was giving
[50:39]him immense pain but the IM was happy because he knew that
[50:45]soon he would be going back to Allah the IM knew that
[50:51]he had achieved his victory he had missed he wanted to go
[50:55]back too to meet he wanted to go back to the mercy
[51:02]of Allah the IM was at peace on these days come now
[51:04]to the house of the Imam he narrates to us what happened
[51:11]on that night he said I came to the house of they
[51:13]were not really allowing anyone to enter Because the Imam was in
[51:18]a difficult situation was one of the companions of IM Ali so
[51:22]he says Imam Hassan gave him permission to enter the house he
[51:28]says I entered the house I saw my on the ground Al
[51:36]ASB says the im's head was wrapped with a yellow piece of
[51:42]cloth he said I could not tell which was more yellow the
[51:44]cloth or his face because he had lost so much blood on
[51:49]that day they had brought a Doctor by the name ofi to
[51:55]inspect the wound on the head of the Imam and to see
[51:57]how serious it is after inspecting the wound of the IM you
[52:04]know what the doctor said after examining the wound of he saw
[52:10]some of the parts of the brain That's How Deep The Sword
[52:16]had struck he saw parts of the brain of the Imam imagine
[52:18]the pain that the Imam had to go through when he saw
[52:23]that he looked at Ali he told him Ali write your will
[52:25]there's no chance you're going to survive this this poisonous sword has
[52:29]struck your head and it went into your brain allahar imagine when
[52:36]Z heard the words of this doctor she came into the room
[52:46]of Amir she collapsed on the ground she began to cry oh

[53:02]there to protect me oh Father our grief is going to be
[53:11]prolonged after you imagine Gathering his children around him one narration tells

[54:47]how she found out zanab was looking at the tent of abas
[54:52]she saw Imam Hussein walking to the tent of Abbas and he
[54:55]struck down the pole of the tent when she saw the tent
