[0:52]what is the Divine reality of the creation that is As We

[1:02]Know the religion of Islam is the religion with a mystical Dimension

[1:06]there are parts of the religion of Islam that's without a doubt

[1:11]have a relationship with the world of the Unseen not just the

[1:16]world of the scene part of that relationship can be seen in

[1:19]the world of the Angels the world of Revelation the world of

[1:24]the Jinn the world of the pre-eternal light the world of the

[1:28]day of judgment and the world of the hereafter that mystical reality

[1:33]therefore is related to a number of chosen personalities when we look

[1:39]for example at the prophets of God we see that the prophets

[1:44]of God have a relationship with the mystical one looks for example

[1:49]at Prophet Salam one looks at the Virgin birth of Islam one

[1:54]looks for example at Moses and the splitting of the Red Sea

[2:00]or Moses and his stick one looks at the holy prophet peace

[2:02]be upon him and his family when it comes to the Knights

[2:06]of Mirage therefore you found that when there are certain personalities to

[2:09]have a mystical reality that means that that mystical reality has to

[2:15]be examined in relation to their character as well therefore for us

[2:21]within Shear a thought is not just to be looked at as

[2:26]one of the Arab personalities who was living in early Islam there

[2:29]are a number of ladies who were living in early Islam who

[2:34]have nothing to do with the mystical realm and reality there are

[2:38]a number of ladies in early Islam who for example grew around

[2:42]the life of the holy prophet peace be upon his family some

[2:45]were the best of Believers others for example tried to reach the

[2:51]highest level spiritually some of them were Sinners some of them for

[2:55]example were of the good but very rarely do you come across

[3:02]an early Islam a lady who for example is related to the

[3:04]mystical realm as was a great lady but she's not related to

[3:12]the mystical realm you find um Salama was a great lady but

[3:15]she is not related to the mystical realm you find others of

[3:19]the ladies who were in early Islam but were not related to

[3:22]the mystical realm at all whereas when you examine you found that

[3:29]had a major relationship with the mystical realm as well there is

[3:37]a relationship with creation before we came into this world a relationship

[3:42]with the world of the Unseen and the scene a relationship with

[3:46]the world of the Angels a relationship with the world of the

[3:52]Divine lights a relationship with the world of infallibility some may ask

[3:58]the question that's us examining in relation to the mystical realm how

[4:04]does that affect our lives today at the end of the day

[4:08]for many of us we want to know about the lessons from

[4:11]the life of Salaam we don't want to necessarily understand the mystical

[4:16]Dimension or the essence of Fatima but that means that you have

[4:22]to separate that same way with the holy prophet or with other

[4:25]prophets you can't say that I study in every unit without understanding

[4:30]Eunice in the belly of the whale I could not study Musa

[4:35]without understanding the Divine knowledge that was involved in the life of

[4:41]Musa I could not examine without understanding the Virgin birth I can

[4:55]understand through lessons in my own but I still need to know

[5:01]the mystical elements in relation to their creation because in that way

[5:06]I understand the difference between those who are chosen by God and

[5:11]those who are mere mortals on this Earth there are many human

[5:15]beings in history who I can gain lessons from their life but

[5:18]that doesn't mean that these are people who originated from Divine choice

[5:23]if it was about only gaining lessons from the life of people

[5:28]there are many around the life of the holy prophet peace be

[5:30]upon him and his family whom I'm able to obtain lessons from

[5:35]but part of my understanding of the prophets of Allah was understanding

[5:39]that they had a higher position in relation to Allah I cannot

[5:45]separate my understanding of a prophet from the mystical dimension of that

[5:51]Prophet likewise I can study the lessons from the life that's not

[5:59]an issue but at the same time do I know the Divine

[6:04]Essence of Fatima have I understood the Divine reality of Fatima have

[6:09]I understood how Fatima originates in a pure light and a manifestation

[6:14]of one of the lights of Allah on the Earth of course

[6:20]for non-shia this is something alien as in you'll see that non-shia

[6:24]will say that is one of the greatest ladies they'll put her

[6:28]alongside Asia and Maryam and her mother Khadijah they'll say that she

[6:32]is one of the most spiritual ladies but when you ask them

[6:38]what is the Divine mystical essence of Fatima they'll come back to

[6:42]you and say what do you mean Divine mystical Essence fatuma is

[6:46]like any other lady in her time spiritually she reaches Great Heights

[6:50]but like any other lady she's a fallible lady and a lady

[6:55]who could make an error a misjudgment like any other lady in

[7:01]her time when we come to she I thought we don't look

[7:04]at father in this way we don't see fat by saying that

[7:10]Fatima was a mere mortal amongst Mortals for us no the mystical

[7:15]dimension of Fatima highlights that Fatima was someone chosen even before we

[7:21]came to this earth lets us tonight in this introductory lecture have

[7:25]a look at the origin of the Divine mystical reality thought and

[7:33]I'd like to do this in the following stages number one how

[7:39]do the Traditions highlight to us was already in existence before Adam

[7:46]was created and which Traditions points us towards this direction number two

[7:54]how was conceived according to Sherry thought and how is this conception

[8:00]different to any other number three who were the midwives who helped

[8:05]Khadijah in her birth and how do these midwives signify a difference

[8:13]in Fatima number four how did Allah highlights infallible in contrast to

[8:24]all around her in her time number five how did Fatima communicate

[8:28]with the Angelic realm not just with the human realm and what

[8:33]evidence is there in ladies before her that's an angel like jibril

[8:40]could communicate number six how important is not just here but also

[8:48]on the day of judgment and what position does Allah subhanahu wa

[8:52]ta'ala give her in front of all the people on the day

[8:58]of judgment let's examine this and understand the Mystic reality of Salaam

[9:03]first and foremost when we come to understanding The Mystic reality of

[9:07]Fatima is an understanding that father's light was created thousands of years

[9:15]before even Adam was created for non-shia this would be unusual what

[9:21]do you mean someone was created before Adam Adam is the first

[9:26]creation of Allah we don't doubt that Adam is the first creation

[9:30]of God on this Earth but that's even idem himself admits that

[9:36]there were certain lights and certain names that I came across even

[9:42]before I was created even before I came down on this Earth

[9:47]there were certain names that shun that highlighted to me that their

[9:54]station was the highest station I said we know very well that

[10:00]maybe Adam when his interaction was shaitaan felt that he had not

[10:06]done that which God had wanted from him he may have done

[10:08]that which is good not that which was better asks Allah for

[10:18]forgiveness when he asks Allah for forgiveness there are two ways he

[10:22]could ask God for forgiveness one way is he could say Allah

[10:25]forgive me direct communication with Allah a second way however is that

[10:34]could mention certain names that highlight the position of these people when

[10:41]nebi Adam comes and prays to Allah whose names does Adam mention

[10:47]Ed mentions a group of names which highlight that these names were

[10:54]already the most important names in the eyes of God even before

[11:00]Adam comes down on this Earth because Debbie Adams says Ya Allah

[11:07]I ask you foreign [Music] he says that I saw their names

[11:48]on the gates of Jannah therefore I thought that this must be

[11:53]the most beloved names to Allah so when I asked Allah I

[12:01]could have asked Allah directly but why don't I ask Allah by

[12:09]mentioning these five look who he mentions I ask you in the

[12:25]pre-eternal realm before we came in this world I asked you one

[12:28]question and that is were there any other ladies names mentioned there

[12:35]no not at all there are other ladies who are living with

[12:40]rasulullah but before we even came to this world you see that

[12:44]the name is whose name that's why even her name Sahara what

[12:49]does means the radiant the idea of the radiant is the idea

[12:59]that her light was shining throughout not just shining here but shining

[13:03]in the pre-eternal realm as well another narration what does it mention

[13:09]was there sitting with his wife Hawa with Eve he looks around

[13:16]the world and he says look how beautiful what we have is

[13:19]has anyone received more beautiful than that which we've received his wife

[13:25]turns around to him and she says surely none other at that

[13:30]moment Allah orders the angel to come towards Adam and he says

[13:36]to him come back with me to that Heavenly abode when he

[13:41]takes them back to the Heavenly Abode he says to him Adam

[13:47]look towards that house over there when Adam looks towards the house

[13:52]the narration mentions that Adam sees that house full of Shining Light

[13:56]and he says to the angel whose house is that and he

[14:01]says to him o Adam that is the house of Allah that

[14:18]is the house of who that is the house Adam says that

[14:25]much light shines from that house and the reply comes there is

[14:31]no house which has light like the house which carries the lights

[14:35]of Muhammad through his daughter Fatima then Adam turns round and he

[14:43]begins to recite a poem he says Fatima is Fatima is Imam

[14:52]Fatima is shahada Fatima is [Music] all in one recital one whole

[15:26]recital of poetry about Islam from who not from someone living in

[15:31]the time of the holy prophet peace be upon his family if

[15:34]it was someone living in the time of the Prophet peace be

[15:38]upon him his family then you'd say that any lady at that

[15:40]time could be a lady who is the recipient of poetry is

[15:46]the one eulogizing when is this this is not in the time

[15:54]of rasulullah rather this is the time before when before the very

[16:01]creation of the human being where already eulogizes her before we come

[16:11]on to this earth therefore on the first level we have the

[16:16]Divine Mystic reality and that father was alive before we came on

[16:22]this world on the second level what do we have is that

[16:25]it's very conception has a mystical reality of all the ladies around

[16:36]rasulullah can any Muslim mention to me one lady whose birth was

[16:40]a birth that came from the foods that were sent from Heaven

[16:46]to Earth none there are many ladies who many Muslims appreciate and

[16:51]admire in the Muslim world today but all of these ladies I

[16:55]asked you one question about them and that is that these ladies

[17:00]when they were born they were born a normal birth when you

[17:03]look at the birth you found that comes to the holy prophet

[17:07]peace be upon his family and he says to him you stay

[17:12]away from Khadijah for 40 days what is happening he says this

[17:21]is a command from your lord that you do not approach Khadijah

[17:27]for 40 days goes and informs he says to her that I

[17:38]will not be approaching you for 40 days at that moment feels

[17:43]a bit sad she says to him is there something wrong is

[17:48]there an issue tell me why do you want to not come

[17:49]near me he said to her it's a command that says come

[17:53]to me from my Lord that I do not approach you for

[17:55]another 40 Days I will go towards the house of Imam Ali's

[18:01]mother father and my uncle and I will stay there for this

[18:10]period the holy prophet peace be upon his family goes and stays

[18:13]there separate from his wife until one day Mikhail Angel come towards

[18:20]the holy prophet peace be upon him and his family when they

[18:25]come towards him they say to him that's all prophets of God

[18:31]we have brought you some food something which has come from the

[18:37]heavens look at the mystical reality of Fatima when he comes he

[18:40]says then what is in there they said even we don't know

[18:46]when he removes the cover what does he see he sees within

[18:48]there some dates and some grapes he begins to eat the dates

[18:55]and he begins to eat the grapes after he's finished eating the

[18:59]dates and the grapes comes and he begins to pour water for

[19:03]him to wash his hands helps wash them helps to dry them

[19:15]and then they say to him your lord asks you now to

[19:21]go towards your wife Khadijah and that you do not pray before

[19:29]you go to her rather you go to her first salaam says

[19:36]that normally when he would come towards my room he would first

[19:44]do his his Salah and then he'd come towards my room she

[19:46]said however on this occasion when he came towards the house I

[19:52]heard his knock I had not seen him for over a month

[19:54]he then entered and then from there we went towards our quarters

[20:02]she said that night was the night that I knew that I

[20:07]conceived Fatima look how Allah makes a special distinction for Fatima's birth

[20:14]any other birth in Islamic history Allah does not make any distinction

[20:22]for but when it comes to father the food from Jannah is

[20:27]sent to the house of rasulullah and we know very well you

[20:33]are what you eat and what you eat has a effect on

[20:35]your Offspring therefore the food that was used when he conceives so

[20:43]when Khadijah conceives of Fatima is that which comes of Jannah that's

[20:47]number two number three when to give birth when she wants to

[20:59]give birth to Father the ladies of the area of Mecca All

[21:03]Desert her none of the ladies want to be next to her

[21:07]why they say to her that now that you have married him

[21:14]none of us will help you when you give birth to Fatima

[21:17]I ask you when she is alone at that moment who does

[21:25]Allah come and send to the help of Khadija Salaam not normal

[21:30]midwives of course there could be many midwives who could come to

[21:33]the aid of Salam the first lady who comes near Khadija salaam

[21:41]for the birth of Fatima is consumed the sister of Nabi Musa

[21:47]someone says died hundreds of years before he wants to those in

[22:02]the world of barza he could send them back to Earth our

[22:06]parents when they've died can they still not come and visit our

[22:13]homes in Islamic tradition the more Iman that you have the more

[22:16]days that your parents come to the house to visit you if

[22:21]your parents could be sent to come and visit you then Allah

[22:24]cannot send the holiers to come and help Allah the first lady

[22:32]he sent for this Royal birth not a normal birth the first

[22:40]lady who Allah sent for this Royal birth was who he sent

[22:43]say he sent consume the sister Musa the second lady that's Allah

[22:52]sent to us who second lady was Eve the wife of Adam

[22:55]if you go and help Khadijah if quraish abandoned Khadija I'll send

[23:04]the greatest ladies to go and help Khadijah because the lady she's

[23:08]giving birth to is the greatest lady to have ever been born

[23:12]so on the one side you have Eve on the other side

[23:18]you have kulthum who else does Allah send Asia the wife of

[23:22]her own comes and sits next to Khadijah who else does Allah

[23:29]send Allah sends as well Mariam the mother of I ask you

[23:36]which lady in the history of this religion has had these as

[23:42]her midwives when giving birth no lady there is no lady in

[23:47]the history of the religion of Islam who has had these who

[23:50]came and gave or helped her give birth further than that was

[23:59]born in the position of sujud when she was born is not

[24:08]just any lady who's born as soon as I laid her down

[24:16]she went into the position of sujud further not say the Khadijah

[24:21]her other daughters she gave to others to suckle she personally other

[24:30]daughters there were others who could suckle them but when it came

[24:36]to Fatima she said I will be the one who suckles Fatima

[24:39]alaihissalam therefore even in the birth of Fatima what do we see

[24:43]we see a mystical element that Eve and Asia and Maryam and

[24:50]others are all present at the birth of who at the birth

[24:52]of Fatima that is number two number three the infallibility of Father

[24:59]what is other ladies living in the time of Fatima were not

[25:04]masoom there were many ladies who achieved great positions but were they

[25:10]masum not necessarily whereas when you came to Father Allah gave her

[25:17]a mystical Edge above all others what was that mystical Edge she

[25:21]was matsuma While others were not according to which I of the

[25:28]Quran Bismillah foreign no one can deny that the only lady around

[26:02]rasulallah this Ayah or this part of Ayah Surah 33 33 is

[26:14]our proof of the asthma of Salaam some might come forward and

[26:22]say that this particular verse May refer to the wives of rasulullah

[26:26]but we know very well that there are a number of indicators

[26:31]that highlight that this Ayah does not refer to the wives why

[26:34]number one the change of the grammar that we see in the

[26:42]Ayah the first part of the Ayah begins with what begins in

[26:44]the feminine the first part of the Ayah is all in the

[27:01]feminine whereas when it the Ayah changes it moves into the masculine

[27:12]notice the first part purely feminine all of a sudden there's a

[27:23]change that change movement from the feminine to the who to the

[27:33]masculine someone might say but the masculine and Arabic grammar also includes

[27:38]the feminine we say we don't deny that because some said that

[27:42]although it moves into the masculine it doesn't deny that the wives

[27:45]of rasulullah could also be on that verse of tahara but we

[27:50]reply that even when this incidence of Kisa when the incidence of

[27:54]Kisa took place on Salama the wife of rasool Allah was there

[27:59]um asked am I allowed to enter under the globe the holy

[28:04]prophet turned around and said you are good but this is reserved

[28:10]for these five therefore if the wives were included in the verse

[28:14]of asthma then um Salama could have easily either not asked because

[28:21]she knows the verses about her why would she need to ask

[28:23]if I could join under the cloak or um does ask and

[28:29]the prophet says sure that you are good but this is reserved

[28:32]for who this is reserved for these five further than that notice

[28:39]that in the Ayah it says stay in your houses or wives

[28:47]of the prophet whereas in the Ayah of Hadith that first part

[29:00]said in your houses this one said people of the house notice

[29:06]the first part is saying that each wife has a house is

[29:13]saying what that what Allah wants to keep away from you all

[29:21]impurities o people of the house there is a difference between all

[29:27]of the houses of the wives and the house all of the

[29:33]houses of the wives all of them have got their houses where

[29:38]they all stay but when Allah revealed the verse of purification Allah

[29:44]said that verily we wanted to watch Allah wants to keep away

[29:52]all impurities from you o people of the house the house is

[29:58]different from the other houses the other houses impurity can enter and

[30:04]leave Disobedience can enter and leave but more importantly those other houses

[30:14]are of mere mortals this house out of names that were there

[30:20]in Jannah before we came on Earth those other houses are your

[30:26]people who were the regulars who lived around the prophets whereas this

[30:30]house has got the name of five whose names were inscripted in

[30:34]Jannah already further than that claims that this Ayah is about her

[30:44]I asked you one question was there any wife who ever said

[30:48]that the incident of the Kissa was about her there was no

[30:51]other wife no wife of the Prophet ever said that the incident

[30:57]of the Kisa was about her if another wife had said that

[30:59]then we would have said that that wife has put a claim

[31:04]to it because surely you would use something like this why when

[31:08]Allah revealed the verse about your infallibility it shows that you have

[31:14]a mystical level higher than everybody else who receives Grace from Allah

[31:22]that's Allah keeps all sin and impurity away from them that person

[31:26]is in a completely different level to those around them if I

[31:30]was the recipient of such a thing then I would use it

[31:34]for myself but the fact that I'm not means that I would

[31:38]never come forward and state it is notice the mystical aspect the

[31:50]jibra ill the angel is with them the whole way some ask

[31:53]this question on the next Point that's another part of the mystical

[31:57]aspect of Fatima is that and the angels can communicate with her

[32:03]I ask you name me one wife of rasulullah who the angel

[32:10]communicated with someone might say that how could jibra ill communicate with

[32:19]Fatima jibril only communicates with prophets how does he communicate with Fatima

[32:25]did you not read in the Quran when Allah said that the

[32:29]angel said to father or Maryam foreign is therefore mystical Maryam has

[32:59]a level where the Angels communicate with her if the Angels could

[33:03]communicate with Maryam could the Angels not communicate with Salaam when the

[33:10]Quran says that the Angels communicated to Maryam most people say that

[33:14]Maryam is not a prophetess therefore the angels can go to certain

[33:18]people who are not prophets of Allah when we therefore see another

[33:25]part of the mystical dimension of Fatima is that jibril could communicate

[33:33]why he ends with her father from the secrets of the Unseen

[33:45]yes and that's why you see many times those people who came

[33:48]forward and said that you Shia believe in a different Quran you

[33:51]say Habibi which different Quran which one my Quran is the one

[33:57]that is published from your very holy lands you open my Quran

[34:01]it says published in Mecca published in Medina published in real they

[34:07]say well how about Fatima what is this must have they have

[34:16]a point in the sense that must have is normally that which

[34:20]refers to the Quran so now when we come towards they said

[34:25]that the Shia have a Quran that is different from everyone else's

[34:29]Quran the Shia have a Quran which was communicated to Father through

[34:37]firstly they say how could you talk to Fatima we said if

[34:42]jibril can talk to Maryam why could jibril not talk to Fatima

[34:45]but secondly we reply by saying no the must-have of Fatima was

[34:52]not the Quran when the prophet had died you found that rasulullah

[34:58]after he had passed away was in a state of grief because

[35:04]she was in a stage of grief Allah wanted to bring a

[35:12]sense of Happiness to her or a sense of comfort to her

[35:15]he said to Fatima no other school in Islam would dare say

[35:23]in the same sentence the only School in Islam that gives father

[35:31]her true weight is sent by Allah to Fatima and he began

[35:43]to tell her not only about what had happened in the past

[35:48]but also about some of the events that would happen in the

[35:53]future sometimes people would ask how is it that the elevates have

[35:57]one way is Allah tells the prophet something and he tells Imam

[36:02]Ali if the prophet says I am the city of knowledge and

[36:06]Ali is its gate so the prophets would tell Imam Ali something

[36:10]and therefore Imam would have Helm of the rape from having been

[36:16]taught by rasulullah sallallahu alaihi who was taught by the Lord another

[36:19]way is what another way is and when he would come you

[36:32]would see that he would come and tell her oh Fatima I

[36:37]have come to you to bring you that news which will bring

[36:40]peace to your heart who would write them Imam who was there

[36:48]in the incident of Kisa why would he not come after rasulullah

[36:51]has died especially to a house where jibril was the servant of

[37:00]those people therefore when Jabra ill comes towards this house he enters

[37:04]upon the house and he would visit why because he could see

[37:13]that was inconsolable when she lost her father she had lost the

[37:19]love of her life loves those who love Fatima it's anger that

[37:26]those who anger Fatima is happy with those who bring happiness to

[37:33]Fatima if Allah is happy with those who bring happiness of Fatima

[37:36]surely Allah would be the first who makes Fatima happy therefore Allah

[37:42]ill to where to the house of father and Jabra ill it's

[37:47]as if he would come and recite a medalist for father imagine

[37:51]having as the recites of your matchless would come and he'd recite

[37:58]the medalists in the house that which was written would be known

[38:06]as what would be known as the must-have would remain with the

[38:12]imams of age therefore look at the mystical Dimension before we were

[38:19]created of Allah her name was written on the gates of Jannah

[38:24]her house was witnessed by Adam her birth was from the fruits

[38:32]of Jannah her birth was attended by the greatest ladies ever created

[38:38]by Allah when she is born she's born frustrating to Allah Allah

[38:44]ensures that she has the divine grace of being perfected in the

[38:51]verse of asthma she is the one who the Angels come to

[38:54]her house look at that mystical Dimension does that mystical Dimension end

[39:01]when she dies no no on the day of judgment Allah cements

[39:08]that mystical dimension from before we were created during our creation and

[39:18]after our creation Allah ensures that that mystical Dimension continues why on

[39:25]the day of judgment you see the Traditions make it clear that

[39:28]even on the day of judgment has a mystical dimension in which

[39:37]way I ask you name me any personality on the day of

[39:41]judgment when when they cross the Sarat Allah says lower your heads

[39:46]because they are crossing what do you think is just an Arab

[39:56]personality who lived around the prophet someone who in the books of

[40:01]History we write she was another of the ladies that lived next

[40:05]to him on the day of judgment I ask all of you

[40:08]is there any lady in the history of the religion of Islam

[40:13]or any man for that matter that's when he appears on the

[40:20]bridge in the day of judgment on the Sarat there is a

[40:24]call from the heavens lower your heads how high must you be

[40:32]in the eyes of Allah that's on the day of judgment every

[40:38]single creation has to lower their heads because you are coming how

[40:47]low must you be if you are involved in the killing of

[40:51]such a creation how high must you be if when you are

[41:06]on the Sarat there is a call from the Lord lower your

[41:09]heads why lower your heads because Fatima is Crossing it's not just

[41:25]Fatima that's Crossing it is the rule of Muhammad that's Crossing and

[41:30]therefore when it is Muhammad that's Crossing it is the highest creation

[41:37]on the day of judgment listen to the Hadith of our sixth

[41:43]Iman Imam could easily say to you tonight learn from the patience

[41:47]of Fatima The Bravery of Fatima the justice of no no wait

[41:51]wait there's a mystical Dimension to Muhammad there are lessons to learn

[41:58]from Muhammad there's a mystical Dimension to Jesus there are lessons to

[42:04]learn from Jesus you cannot appreciate a prophet unless you know the

[42:08]Divine Essence of that prophet you cannot appreciate Fatima unless you know

[42:16]the real Fatima today there are too many who want to know

[42:21]the lessons without understanding the origin I can never appreciate the lessons

[42:29]of rasulullah unless I understood the Knights of marriage of rasulallah likewise

[42:34]I can never understand the lessons from the life of Fatima unless

[42:43]I understand what is Fatima says the day of judgment comes and
