[0:42]a burdened soul cannot carry or cannot bear the burden of another

[0:48]and if one way down by burden should cry for another to

[0:53]carry its burden not all of it shall be carried even though

[0:57]he be of near kin you warn only those who fear their

[1:03]lord in secret and keep up prayer and whoever purifies himself he

[1:07]purifies himself only for the good of his own soul and to

[1:09]allah is the last night we touched on the concept of government

[1:19]in islam and we reached the conclusion that although there are opinions

[1:28]that differ within the motherboard amongst the motherboard we agreed or we

[1:38]said that these three opinions at the very least agree that eventually

[1:43]our government will be established at the time of the imam salam

[1:51]and we spoke a little bit about the establishment of this government

[1:56]and we said that inshallah in the coming nights we'll be discussing

[2:00]the tenants of this government now just before we continue on to

[2:04]tonight's topic just touching on last night's topic very very quickly regarding

[2:09]other madahib of islam other schools of thought of islam the issue

[2:15]of government in islam is unanimous however the establishment of this government

[2:21]or who runs this government we differ and mainly when it comes

[2:28]to the two major madahib schools of thought in islam being from

[2:33]our sunni brothers and we the our stance as shia is clear

[2:40]khalifa yeah the khalifa of allah azzawajal is appointed by allah azzawajal

[2:45]however when it comes to the majority of muslims they have several

[2:53]opinions and we have seen that has been established in various ways

[2:59]so there is the way that the first was established and this

[3:05]was through sakaifa without going into historical details it was through a

[3:13]gathering and the meetings of the elders and the tribes of the

[3:16]muhajirean and vansar and they elected the first and then the first

[3:22]appointed the second so how many methods do we have now we

[3:26]have two methods we have appointment by sakifa and we have appointment

[3:31]by one khalif appoints his successor the third was appointed by surah

[3:41]a small council of six individuals and they elected one from amongst

[3:47]them then we have the methodology and with in which came so

[3:55]this is the first fourth methodology where the people came demanding that

[4:03]take the reins of the khilaf so this is so far four

[4:12]methods then there is a fifth method and it is the method

[4:15]of inheritance and this is how banu umayya and nairo abbas one

[4:22]inherited the khilafah from the other then there is via military coup

[4:30]the way banal abbas took khilafah from banu umayya then there is

[4:38]the last methodology which our sunni brothers believe in and it is

[4:44]the way that imam sharif it is the way imam will come

[4:52]in and in this methodology the imam is appointed by allah so

[5:02]after all of these different methods at the end of the day

[5:06]we and our sunni brothers and sisters agree on the final methodology

[5:12]that the imam is eventually appointed by allah subhana wa this imam

[5:18]is now appointed he comes to form his government and we are

[5:23]not here to discuss the signs inshallah we'll discuss the signs in

[5:26]later nights if we have time we are now taking a look

[5:33]a glimpse at this government of imam al-mahdi alayhi what's its role

[5:36]what does it do what are its objectives amongst the most popular

[5:43]missions and objectives that we hear or that we know and we

[5:49]are familiar with regarding is the concept of vengeance where is the

[6:06]one who calls for vengeance or calls for the vengeance of the

[6:13]blood of he who was killed in kirby we read in several

[6:17]of our narrations for example he will come on a saturday this

[6:34]is in one narration he will come out on a saturday and

[6:38]it will be the day of ashura the day that al-hussein alaihissalam

[6:40]was killed and in another narration he would be carrying or he

[6:45]and his followers will be carrying the banner of hussain calling for

[6:52]the vengeance of the killing of imam and hussain alaihis and seeking

[6:57]revenge for the blood of imam al-hussein the verse that we opened

[7:08]up with is essential to understand this mission because if the imam

[7:13]alaihissalam is going to seek revenge from those who killed imam al-hussein

[7:20]and we know that those who killed imam and hussain alaihis salam

[7:25]have been dead for over a thousand years they have been dead

[7:31]for 1400 years in fact may allah bless his hands took direct

[7:43]vengeance on those responsible for killing al-hussein and he was praised by

[7:52]our imams salam for doing so and in the narrations it says

[7:55]that mukhtar's revenge for imam hussain alaihissalam brought cheerfulness into the houses

[8:03]of the hawashim of banu hashem and made their woman happy after

[8:16]took direct vengeance so what is this vengeance that the imam alaihissalam

[8:24]is talking about here what is this vengeance that the imam is

[8:28]supposed to take how will he take vengeance from the killers of

[8:33]al-hussein alaihis salaam if in the advent of the iman they are

[8:36]not only killed but they have been dead for over 1400 years

[8:42]who would he take revenge from the verse we opened up with

[8:48]is essential muhammad is discussing the concept of burdens in islam the

[9:10]quranic philosophy on a burden vengeance brothers and sisters is a burden

[9:19]if i am to have a loved one of mine killed and

[9:26]we are going to assume that we live in a lawless land

[9:31]and i want to avenge this loved one this is a burden

[9:36]on me it is a great burden and there is also a

[9:42]burden on the murderer in the days of jahiliyyah before islam and

[9:49]unfortunately unfortunately it still exists today in some parts of the world

[9:57]some parts of the middle east and unfortunately it exists here in

[10:03]sydney as recent events have shown us where for some they think

[10:08]that if an individual has killed a family member of mine then

[10:13]not only am i permitted to take vengeance on that particular person

[10:19]but on everybody related to him if i can't get him i'll

[10:24]get his brother i'll get his cousin i'll get his uncle i'll

[10:26]get his relatives here in sydney i think the strangest thing i'll

[10:30]get his mother huh we're shooting each other's mothers now here and

[10:38]we end up in this cycle of satanic violence where it is

[10:45]tit-for-tat innocent people who have nothing to do with anything are paying

[10:50]the price because of a relative or a friend or an associate

[10:56]committed a crime and we go when we punish innocent people like

[10:59]cowards this is the way of jahiliyyah allah azzawajal tells us in

[11:11]this verse in surat father that no one is to carry the

[11:16]burden off another nobody if you have wronged me you have wronged

[11:25]me not your relatives if i have wronged you it is only

[11:29]i who has wronged you not your family members not your brothers

[11:32]not your friends no one else is responsible or will be held

[11:40]accountable for your actions and your negligence this is satanic this is

[11:45]the way of jahiliyyah this is the behavior of idol worshippers this

[11:49]is the behavior of those who used to dance naked around the

[11:55]kaab who used to worship gods of dates and eat these dates

[11:57]when they were hungry this is not the logic of the quran

[12:01]this is not the logic of the bait this is not a

[12:05]lot this is not logic at all this belongs in the animal

[12:14]kingdom okay so quran eliminates this possibility quran says [Music] and they

[12:38]have been killed already and took vengeance then this vengeance that we

[12:46]are talking about is definitely not a vengeance on anyone else otherwise

[12:50]will be conflicting or contradicting the holy quran imam is salaam like

[12:57]his father's before him is al-quran he is the walking talk in

[13:04]quran he is justice embodied does not contradict the book of allah

[13:14]the imam alayhi is not independent of the holy quran he does

[13:19]not have an opinion other than the book of allah he is

[13:23]the embodiment of the book of allah so what is this vengeance

[13:30]is the imam like some ignorant amongst the shia acclaim going to

[13:42]come and kill muslims of other madahib for the vengeance of imam

[13:49]al-hussein alayhi i challenge such individuals to provide one narration one narration

[14:09]what's he say regarding his right to vengeance he says to his

[14:16]sons al-hasam al hussein he says if i die one strike for

[14:24]one strike he struck me once one strike for one strike and

[14:30]the debt is settled if i survive then it is up to

[14:37]me on how i deal with him this is alibn then there

[14:44]are some ignorant here yes the imam will come and these yazidis

[14:50]and these people that love yazidis and the imam will come and

[14:55]he's going to create a sectarian war none of our imams incited

[14:58]sectarianism not one of our imams has ever incited the shia against

[15:10]other muslims in fact if we look at the sunnah of the

[15:18]salaam we find the contrary we find the imams praying for them

[15:29]encouraging us to do what join them in their congregations walk in

[15:40]their funerals eat from their food marry from them this is the

[15:53]sunnah of is he from a different religion [Music] we see the

[16:11]mercy of imam al-mahdi alaihis-salam in our at the time of fitna

[16:17]even when our mosques were being blown up when our hussein yat

[16:24]were being blown up when the shrines of our imams alayhum salaam

[16:29]were being blown up our marajas were at the forefront of maintaining

[16:35]this unity not once did we have one of our maraja come

[16:42]and say they blow up a mosque of ours we're going to

[16:45]blow up a mosque of deaths they blew up a shrine of

[16:51]owls we're going to blow up a shrine of this never in

[16:53]the history of tasha did this ever happen so definitely the imam

[17:04]alayhi salam is not seeking a sectarian war the imam abides by

[17:10]the holy quran the understanding of this thar what this vengeance is

[17:19]we need to look and gather the narrations regarding this vengeance and

[17:23]this revenge and the adayah which have been mentioned or which mention

[17:30]this revenge and then measure it against the holy quran and we

[17:37]will see that imam in mahdi alaihis is just as s upon

[17:57]you a vengeance of god and the son of his vengeance meaning

[18:05]when did we say or imam hussain salam allah go after the

[18:17]muslims or hold people who had nothing to do with an incident

[18:25]accountable we come to the holy quran there's a very interesting verse

[18:35]in the holy quran in surat al-baqarah in surat al-imran verse 21

[18:43]look at this first allah azzawajal here is addressing a particular group

[18:51]from ahlul kitab who live in medina and this particular group are

[19:01]giving rasulallah a hard time and they are instigating the mushrikeen against

[19:08]rasulullah is bringing forward his proofs to them [Music] through their books

[19:21]through logic and they don't want to heed to his call and

[19:24]they are instigating and funding and arming the mushrikeen against the holy

[19:28]messenger allah azzawajal addresses them what's he say he's speaking to the

[19:36]holy messenger as for those who disbelieve in the communications of allah

[20:02]yeah and have disbelieved in what muhammad s and slay the prophets

[20:13]unjustly and slay those among men who enjoined justice announced to them

[20:20]a painful chastisement what's very odd about this verse is that allah

[20:26]azzawajal is speaking in the present tense regarding this group from the

[20:31]kitab he's speaking in the present context he's saying what he's saying

[20:46]catalunya not they have killed in the past no they are currently

[20:54]killing prophets the prophets of allah azzawajal we say rasulallah at the

[21:00]very least between you and the last prophet according to most of

[21:06]our narrations in history it's about 600 years why is allah azzawajal

[21:11]accusing this group or addressing this group and labeling them as killers

[21:18]of the prophets and there is no blood of the prophets on

[21:21]their hands allah in this verse is telling you who vengeance can

[21:32]be ex extracted on exactly on that even though so and so

[21:40]is not directly involved in this oppression in the killing of the

[21:44]prophets however if so and so belongs to the same agenda and

[21:53]they are partners in the same mission and they are soldiers in

[22:00]that same front and they are looking to establish this same injustice

[22:06]here is where you exact vengeance the mission of imam is salaam

[22:15]the vengeance of imam al-mahdi alaihis salaam is not some tribal vengeance

[22:20]you killed my grandfather i'm going to kill your grandfather he's not

[22:26]asha he doesn't have this tribal mentality it doesn't belong to a

[22:34]gang he's not a mobster he says this is the quran this

[22:41]is allah's visual on earth this is an embodiment of allah's will

[22:47]does not act of emotion the imam alaihis when we refer to

[22:54]him as the revenge of allah the same way we have referred

[22:57]to hussain alaihis salam as the vengeance of allah and ali as

[23:04]the vengeance of allah meaning there will exact vengeance on the agenda

[23:10]of kufur and shirak do you think brothers and sisters that the

[23:19]blood of al-hussein alayhi is salaam you can seek vengeance from it

[23:24]for it and even out the score by exacting these vengeance on

[23:33]the perpetrators do you think any amount of worldly vengeance will bring

[23:59]justice to the ribs of fatima alayhi wallahi if the cosmos were

[24:07]to be burned the heavens and the earth and everything in between

[24:12]them it would not bring justice or vengeance for a tear in

[24:18]the eyes of fatima or for a moment of fright in the

[24:26]heart of sukhena or for the shackles around zain absalom allah do

[24:33]you know how heavy this is in the eyes of allah to

[24:37]have the daughters of muhammad not my daughter not your daughter the

[24:41]daughter of muhammad s in front of men with their faces uncovered

[24:54]what vengeance are you talking about the vengeance that needs to happen

[25:02]needs to be on the grand scale on the same scale as

[25:04]the injustice that took so the place vengeance is that enough imam

[25:24]is salam he exacts vengeance and the only vengeance which allah azzawajal

[25:32]this is apart from the vengeance of the akhirah we leave that

[25:34]to allah but because allah azzawajal is just then a worldly justice

[25:50]also needs to happen there needs to be a worldly vengeance and

[26:06]look what we read and pay attention to how this vengeance and

[26:13]what this vengeance means that this vengeance is one pillar in an

[26:20]entire system in a whole mission it's an essential pillar it's a

[26:26]foundation in this mission where is the patron of the day of

[26:33]conquest and he who stretches or spreads out the flags of true

[26:44]guidance where is the one who unifies the dispersed parts of uprightness

[26:57]and contentment will be abner where is the one who demands the

[27:10]vengeance of the prophets and the children of the prophets where is

[27:17]the one ayna will where is the one demanding vengeance for the

[27:26]blood of the one slain in kerbela where is the one who

[27:37]was granted aid against those who have transgressed and oppressed against him

[27:42]imam is salam the mission of vengeance begins with conquest conquest begins

[27:54]with uniting the believers gathering those who believe in good and who

[28:00]believe in his mission uniting and strengthening them imam is vengeance before

[28:09]it gets to the killers of hussein alaihissalam starts with the killers

[28:14]of the prophets of allah i.e those who have continued in this

[28:23]agenda those who are in the camp of istikbar those who are

[28:34]in the camp of arrogance global arrogance global pride oppression colonialism those

[28:44]who have enslaved mankind those who have fought the messengers of allah

[28:50]azzawajal and their message those who today look at the laws of

[28:59]god the laws of humanity everything which is humane and implement on

[29:06]earth everything contradictory to this this is the vengeance of imam you

[29:13]want vengeance for the blood of hussein the only worldly vengeance we

[29:20]can get or the only worldly vengeance that we accept that imam

[29:26]al-mahdi accepts is to tear down the entire platform the entire agenda

[29:32]of kufur and oppression all of it needs to come down so

[29:40]that it may never return again this is the vengeance we refer

[29:49]to him or the imams or he has been referred to by

[29:53]the imams the vengeance of allah because he exacts his vengeance against

[30:00]the enemies of allah those who have sent humanity into a downward

[30:08]spiral who have corrupted humanity on every level that we know every

[30:19]level you can think of whether they be from those who claim

[30:28]to be from the umma of muhammad s or otherwise and we

[30:36]have noticed in history from the time of rasulallah that the hypocrites

[30:46]those who claim to be muslims however in their hearts there is

[30:53]hatred for muhammad we find that the disbelievers and the wicked from

[31:02]the kitab not but there are those who are wicked from amongst

[31:09]we find that these people have been allies and helpers we know

[31:19]in the history of islam that at the death of muhammad sallallahu

[31:23]alaihi wasallam there are those amongst the monks and the rabbis who

[31:31]came to abu sufyan and they said to him here is our

[31:40]money here is our weapons you the children of umayya take hold

[31:47]of this ummah and in an opinion they were not innocent of

[31:57]the death of rasulullah nor are they innocent of the blood of

[32:03]imam al-hussein alaihis-salam was it not under the direction of sargon that

[32:11]yazid you think yazid is intelligent enough to concoct such a plan

[32:15]you see it was an alcoholic who loved to entertain himself with

[32:19]monkeys you think he was intelligent enough to concoct such a plan

[32:29]had he not been instigated had he not been funded and encouraged

[32:34]by the romans to carry out such an action you think he

[32:38]is capable of this do not think for a moment that they

[32:46]are innocent of the blood of ahlul and we see the same

[32:56]today look at the state of the believers look at the fronts

[33:00]where the believers are being fought today we find the hypocrites in

[33:05]this ummah the amawiyon in this our allies hand in hand with

[33:19]the disbelievers and the powers of oppression and colonialism and capitalism we

[33:28]find that those who occupy our lands today sit at the banquets

[33:35]of the powers of colonialism and amongst them if you want to

[33:47]talk about who the imam exact vengeance upon amongst them is a

[33:54]small group of those who claim to shay those who claim love

[34:00]for the imam ali those who claim support for the imam alayhis

[34:18]you think crying for al-hussein simply crying for al-hussein is enough to

[34:26]make you counted amongst those who are in the camp of al-hussein

[34:31]do you know who cried for hussain alaihissalam when he saw the

[34:38]women and their children being brought into the court of ibn ziyad

[34:42]and the head of hussain salam allah on a spear you know

[34:47]who cried for hussain alaihis the head of yazid's army who wanted

[35:03]to kill al-hussein alaihis-salam so he may secure a position as governor

[35:09]of ar-ray in persia la'anna today we have those who cry for

[35:22]al hussain alaihis salam yet sit at the banquets of the tarot

[35:28]they sit at the banquets and the gatherings of the oppressors they

[35:37]receive fundings from them they meet their politicians they support them they

[35:49]travel with them they apply and implement their policies in our ummah

[35:57]amongst our youth and never do you see them standing up for

[36:03]the oppressed never and if by some chance because of haya because

[36:10]they are embarrassed they stand up for the oppressed they never mention

[36:17]the great oppressor from the disbelievers they'll go to the weaker one

[36:24]say look at this muslim saudi arabia but they will never question

[36:27]the masters of saudi arabia the greater satan never don't make it

[36:38]appear like a sectarian thing no this is saudi arabia sunni is

[36:40]killing shias the united states has nothing to do with this this

[36:46]is this is how they will talk to you because they think

[36:54]our youth are stupid they think this ummah is stupid our youth

[36:58]are amongst the most intelligent in the world and the foresight they

[37:05]have these so-called underestimate you do not let them fool you and

[37:13]drag you into these sectarian conflicts and discussions and wars so that

[37:19]the greater satan is not approached look at this alliance the hypocrites

[37:31]of the muslim world killing the believers of yemen funded supported armed

[37:41]aided political coverage by the thought of the disbelievers attributed to the

[38:05]imam alaihis the imam comes to aid the oppressed on every level

[38:16]on every level and the best vengeance for the oppressed is to

[38:26]eradicate not just the oppression the oppressor but the oppression also and

[38:33]the foundations of this oppression must be eradicated and if as we

[38:40]read in dua and nudba in order for this to happen there

[38:46]needs to be a young there needs to be a day of

[38:51]conquest and there needs to be a gathering of the believers meaning

[38:55]that this imam is going to need some form of aid and

[38:59]strength it is not that the imam salam allah he comes and

[39:07]then by himself single-handedly takes out this magic sword and ya'll this

[39:19]is not what happens if this was the case then hussain alaihissalam

[39:24]would have done this rasulallah would have done this during the time

[39:34]uh when he was in medina eradicated eradicated the roman and byzantine

[39:36]empire and established the empire of islam finnish this is not the

[39:44]case brothers and sisters and inshallah in the last few nights when

[39:48]we discuss the role of you and i in the time of

[39:53]occultation what our job is we will see that deliverance and salvation

[40:01]is not something that falls from the sky never has allah azzawajal

[40:07]never read the holy quran delivered a nation unless they wanted it

[40:17]even deliverance and salvation of his prophets and awliya demanded an effort

[40:25]always an effort whether it be a small effort or a major

[40:29]effort allah azzawajal demands effort musa coming to save banu israel him

[40:38]and his troops they get to the ocean does allah azzawajal just

[40:43]split the ocean for him until he musa cross no strike with

[40:50]your staff mosa allah demands from musa to strike the ocean with

[40:55]his staff strike it with your staff then i'll split the ocean

[41:00]he required an effort from musa maryam salaam the pains of birth

[41:11]and delivery and she's now tired she's just delivered is salaam she

[41:17]is hungry and weak she is sitting beneath a date tree does

[41:22]allah azzawajal just drop the dates on her and tell her yamariyam

[41:30]shake the palm tree and maryam and dates will fall dates will

[41:36]fall but shake the tree so imagine the effort required for the

[41:46]grand salvation the great salvation the final salvation of mankind the salvation

[41:54]which saves us all it would need a great and collective effort

[42:01]we're not talking about saving maryam from hunger and thirst we're not

[42:07]talking about splitting one ocean we are talking about bringing down the

[42:14]foundation of the regime of satan and delivering humanity from thousands of

[42:22]years of darkness into eternal light we are talking about the grand

[42:29]finale so the effort must be grand the efforts must be equal

[42:41]to the mission why intense while you are sitting at the banquets

[42:58]of the tarot it is not enough if you are going to

[43:08]be afraid i'm not going to say this because i don't want

[43:10]to get in trouble by the government i don't want to be

[43:16]in trouble to my family many said this to him many of

[43:24]those who claim to support imam al-hussein salam the minute they saw

[44:04]in karbala there is no room for cowardice in the establishment of

[44:15]the government of imam zaman there is no room for fear there

[44:21]is no room for the weak there is no room for being

[44:26]lazy we ask allah to make us amongst those who are firm

[44:32]in their faith who have removed the fear of this dunya and

[44:35]the fear of the tarot from their hearts and have replaced it

[44:40]with confidence in allah foreign [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music]

[47:06][Music] [Music] foreign [Music] foreign in [Applause] yo [Music] [Music] [Music] the

[49:33]day the messenger was to leave his loved ones behind muslim gathered

[49:40]his children and said i entrust you with this will of mine

[49:45]i entrust you with your uncle hussain's allegiance and loyalty five boys

[49:56]accepted the obedience of royalty he said make me proud in the

[50:04]eyes of fatima and ali and set his farewells with tears flowing

[50:12]for what will soon be they promised to serve their imam with

[50:18]their entire existence muslim cried and foretold them of what will happen

[50:26]to him in the disciplines saying my uncle ali promised i will

[51:40]you to come to kufa as we have no imam to guide

[51:47]us through you allah will unite us on the path of truth

[51:51]imam hussain wrote a letter back i am sending my brother my

[51:54]cousin muslim who is my family's most trusted representative i have instructed

[52:03]him to write to me about your situation circumstances and opinions when

[52:09]muslim arrived to go for more than eighteen thousand people appeared before

[52:14]him and pledged allegiance to imam muslim was encouraged by the overwhelming

[52:21]response that he sent a letter to abba abdullah to proceed was

[52:31]the governor of kofa and did not interfere or ha muslim as

[52:37]he had respect for akhlal bay's family members this was seen as

[52:41]a sign of weakness to the supporters of yazidi and by recommendation

[52:46]of sir john mu'awiya's advisor yazid sent ibn zia disguised as imam

[52:54]hussain he entered khufa while covered and people cheered as he arrived

[53:00]once he settled in the castle he gave a sermon warning the

[53:03]people of kufa of the punishment of crucification for anyone aiding or

[53:10]sheltering those who scheme against yazid the fear slowly crept in the

[53:17]hearts of the coffins and those eighteen thousand supporters became less and

[53:24]less muslim was joined in congregational prayers with a great number by

[53:30]the time he was done he's tesleem looking over his shoulder there

[53:36]was parame for supporters [Music] he hid there until a spy by

[53:57]the name of tricked hani and got him arrested and tortured for

[54:01]aiding muslims and [Music] muslim realized here the seriousness of the situation

[54:21]and that imam jose would come to a trap set up for
