Karbala Ya Karbala Ya Karbala
Mother forgive me for I no longer live
But I gave till nothing left there was to give,
For brother Hussain I gave my left and right,
Oh Mother for Hussain I gave my eye sight,
سامحيني يا امي لانني لن اعيشُ بعد الان
لانني اعطيت كل شيء الى ان لم يبقى شيء لاعطيه
لاخي حسين اعطيت يميني و يساري
يا امي للحسين اعطيت بصري

I gave my right for I was his right hand man,
When all left Hussain with Hussain I would stand,
I gave him my left I promised to give all,
I refused to see before me Hussain fall,
اعطيته يميني لانني كنت ذراعه اليمين
عندما تخلى الجميع عن الحسين انا وقفت معه
اعطيته يساري وعدت ان اعطي كل ما لدي
رفضت ان ارى الحسين يسقط قبلي

With an arrow to my eye I could still see,
Like Zainab I still saw nothing but beauty,
Proud they were I was blind little did they know,
For Hussain on death itself myself I’d throw,
بالرغم من وجود السهم في عيني لازلت استطيع ان ارى
مثل زينب ما رايت الا جميلا
فرحوا بألمي الا يعلمون
لاجل الحسين على الموت نفسه ارمي نفسي

They hit me with a poll my balance I lost,
No arms to support from my horse I was tossed,
But mother despite everything that they took,
Still to master Hussain with guilt I would look,
ضربوني بالعامود و فقدت توازني
لم يكن لدي ذراعان فسقطت من فرسي
يا امي بالرغم من انهم اخذوا كل شيء
لا زلت انظر الى سيدي الحسين نظرة الشعور بالذنب

More I wanted to offer I was not done,
For me the battle hadn’t even begun,
But mother forgive me to me death had come,
How could I leave when Hussain hadn’t yet won?
احببت ان اقدم المزيد لانني لم افي بعد
بالنسبة لي المعكرة لم تبدء بعد
لكن يا امي سامحني أتى لي الموت
كيف لي ان ارحل و الحسين لم ينتصر بعد

Mother though In my grave you have my support,
Continue my mission for which I had fought,
Ali’s dying wish was Zainab look after,
I am unable so please do stay with her.
يا امي بالرغم اني في قبري اعطيكي مساندتي
اكملي مسيرتي التي حاربت من اجلها
امي اطلب منك السماح مرة اخرى
لانني رحلت و الحسين يقف وحيدا
