[0:04][Applause] I was a villa him in a shaytan al rajim bismillah
[0:13]r-rahman r-rahim al-hamdu lillahi rabbil aalameen or salat wa salam ala sheriff
[0:23]Allah meeya it was a still more saline Habib Allah halal Amina
[0:28]Lobdell mahiette when you said that almost of Allah will see me
[0:34]mohammed sallu aleihi be not irina bad vehicle hakosuka fema commit until
[0:47]Milla rahmani raheem rijalullah till he hinted orabeoni lillahi wa rahmatullahi wa
[1:00]ETA is your half moon Io monopoly fee he'll hooloovoo al abbas
[1:05]or leas either human folly wallah we are the commercial hubiera his
[1:10]a sort of Allah Allah you love him amenable aracely to accelerate
[1:17]the reappearance of our awaited imam Jalal Allah ferrozzo Sharif request we
[1:21]recite 3 salawatu the largest of our voices respected scholars brothers and
[1:45]sisters in Islam assalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatu our intention as a mental
[1:49]state that represents a commitment to carrying out and acts intention involves
[1:56]two mental activities the first one is planning and the second one
[2:00]is innocence for thoughts according to the Islamic perspective the concept of
[2:05]intention has been given a great importance in accordance to one's actions
[2:09]that you will find that the main pillar in our actions in
[2:13]the religion of Islam is considered the intention and therefore you would
[2:17]notice that even within the acts of worship but the concept of
[2:20]intention has to be present if the intention is not present it
[2:24]is considered the act of worship is considered valid you would notice
[2:27]that the pillar of the religion of Islam is salat isn't it
[2:29]true now on the other hand you would notice that the pillar
[2:33]of salat is also that the intention the first condition that the
[2:36]salat for it to be present is simply what we call hadoo
[2:38]Renea which is the presence of intention and therefore you would notice
[2:43]that within the religion of islam is that the concept of intention
[2:45]our actions revolve around it everything the intention the concept of intention
[2:50]is considered the criterion of value when it comes to our actions
[2:54]if an action was committed without an intention or it had an
[2:59]ungodly intention behind it it is considered invalid in the religion of
[3:02]Islam and therefore you would notice some of the variants of insignificant
[3:05]simplest acts can gain in value simply because they had a godly
[3:09]intention behind them you would notice in surah al-ma'idah allah subhanaw taala
[3:13]when he talks about the ayah surah liya about my mini Salam
[3:18]Salam Ali what does he say anomaly you come allahu wa rasuluhu
[3:21]when ladina Aman alladhina amanu salat or to Nasik Ottowa home raki
[3:25]own isn't it is that indeed Allah is your guardian and the
[3:31]believers those which believers those who commit hope keep up the prayer
[3:35]who those who maintain the salat and they paid as a cat
[3:37]they pay the parades while they are bowing now imagine that that
[3:41]verse was revealed about Amir al-mumineen salawats allah wa salam ala paying
[3:44]the zakat simply with his ring while he was bowing and salat
[3:50]something as simple as this a very simple act as only the
[3:52]ring for a person who went inside the Masjid asking for zakat
[3:57]yet Allah subhana WA Ta'ala not only he complements this act but
[4:01]simply he evaluates this act to the point that he raises Imam
[4:03]I mean Ali Salaam and he gives them the concept of R'lyeh
[4:08]and that sense why because it stemmed from a pure intention and
[4:11]pure intention is indeed stems from a pure heart and therefore Allah
[4:15]Subhanahu WA Ta'ala when he talks about the concept of intention within
[4:18]the religion of Islam he always stresses upon always focusing on the
[4:21]sound heart al kaba Salim why you would notice one of the
[4:25]beautiful narrations about Imam and from Imam acidophilus salaam he says that
[4:30]the heart is the sanctuary of Allah therefore do not allow anyone
[4:35]else to do a Varon except Allah Allah Subhanahu WA Ta'ala looks
[4:38]into our pure hearts and he looks into our sincerity and that's
[4:44]how we get rewarded when it comes to the concept of intention
[4:46]it is narrated that when Allah Subhanahu WA Ta'ala looks into our
[4:50]hearts he realizes that how pure our intentions are and therefore what
[4:54]we'll do tonight and sha Allah depending on the verse that we
[4:58]started with we shall discuss this point further according to the following
[5:03]points the first one is that we shall look into and we
[5:05]shall find out the reason as to why the religion of Islam
[5:10]requires intentions when it comes to actions that you will find that
[5:13]many people might say isn't the action itself enough right so many
[5:15]people would say I'm already acting I'm already committed and committing the
[5:18]act isn't this sufficient so we'd look into that and the second
[5:23]point we shall discuss is that the relationship between amal and Jessa
[5:26]and the third thing is that we shall reflect on the verse
[5:31]that we started with the concerning this topic and the fourth point
[5:34]is that we should look into the conditions that Imam Husain salatullah
[5:38]wa salam ala required in his sermon in mecca before leaving to
[5:42]Karbala concerning this topic also and we before we proceed I ask
[5:48]you to provide me with a lots of attention we sat in
[5:55]the beginning that intention involves two mental activities right and we said
[5:58]that this is planning and forethought now the first thing is that
[6:01]why is that that the religion of Islam stresses upon the intention
[6:04]and we said is that sometimes the act itself might be sufficient
[6:07]that many of us might think that since I'm carrying out the
[6:10]act then why should I focus a lot on the intention you
[6:13]see many of us suffer from this thing is that sometimes we
[6:19]might come and say is that I a person might committed commit
[6:21]a certain act and the result might not match exactly the action
[6:26]that was committed and therefore the person always comes and says is
[6:30]that this is not what I meant right that you will say
[6:32]that this is what I did but this is not what I
[6:34]meant this was not my intention when it comes to this Allah
[6:36]support Allah what he wants to do is that he really wants
[6:39]to educate us from within he wants to educate the human being
[6:42]from within and he wants to elevate with our level of intellect
[6:47]and he wants our actions to literally match our intentions he wants
[6:51]our actions to match our thoughts and our emotions and the purest
[6:55]they are the more pure they are the more pure our intentions
[6:59]are and so the more pure our actions are and the more
[7:01]sincere they are and therefore you would notice that there's a stress
[7:06]and the religion of Islam upon gaining that level of responsibility is
[7:09]that as a Muslim individual it is important that you become responsible
[7:13]responsible to the point that your intentions dumas do mature actions and
[7:17]whatever you say is something that you meant and whatever you do
[7:21]is something that you've also already meant and therefore industry in this
[7:24]case when it comes to this case you would notice that the
[7:29]religion of Islam comes and says is that your intention your intention
[7:32]is dependent on the state that you're in meaning what meaning if
[7:38]I were to commit a certain act and myself like meaning what
[7:40]let's say I wanted to carry out a certain act the purest
[7:44]my intention is and the more I evaluate my intention the best
[7:47]the act would happen right why because you would find out that
[7:51]carrying out an act it stems from within this is something that
[7:57]according to my own intention is matching my actions so my action
[8:02]has to match my intention in that sense thanks so much that
[8:06]sense you would find that there is a very stress on the
[8:09]concept of Amelia and Jessa isn't it the concept of amel and
[8:14]Jessa is literally defined in the following is that Amal is defined
[8:20]as the act carried out by the individual towards Allah that's the
[8:25]Amin Jessa is the reward that shall be given to the individual
[8:32]in return in exchange for the Amin and when it comes to
[8:35]this point in particular you will find out that the scholars of
[8:37]ethics in the religion of Islam they say that there are five
[8:41]main pillars when it comes to almond Emily's dependent on fire 5
[8:44]min pillars the first pillar they say is the intention the second
[8:51]pillar they say is the quality the third one is the quantity
[8:53]the fourth one is the methods and the fifth one is the
[8:58]outcome in what sense you would find that first we look into
[9:01]a person's intention when it comes to almond the second one the
[9:04]way it's evaluated is the quality of the almond is that how
[9:07]much effort you're putting into the samel in order for it to
[9:11]be proper right that activity and is a certain level of quality
[9:14]the third one is the quantity meaning what sometimes the quantity has
[9:19]to match the demands and that amel itself right and then the
[9:22]fourth one is the method and the method is a really important
[9:26]one why because you would notice that in a lot of ways
[9:28]a lot of us might be involved in a certain activities for
[9:32]example Islamic activities are vast you would find that many are communities
[9:35]they do have Islamic activities don't they yes yet when it comes
[9:39]to the concept of a method sometimes the method is not the
[9:42]right method and therefore we need to evaluate the method itself there's
[9:45]a way and that way needs to match the society that we
[9:48]live in isn't it and then the fifth one they say the
[9:52]outcome is that the way we also evaluate the Amal is that
[9:55]we need to look into the outcome we need to look into
[9:56]the result did the result match the following if not then we
[10:00]go back to the beginning is that we look into the intention
[10:03]so that's the Amal when it comes to um al amal as
[10:07]we said is that it is the act carried out by the
[10:09]individual no that Jessa is is the reward you get from allah
[10:15]subhana wa ta'ala in exchange for the amal one Allah subhana WA
[10:17]Ta'ala rewards you for the Amal he looks into the shall first
[10:20]and then the following right is that if the intention is pure
[10:25]then the reward is not only giving in return right it's not
[10:27]an evil reward it is multiplied in the eyes of Allah as
[10:32]we said earlier and it's mentioned one time that zübeyde that the
[10:35]wife of Harun al-rashid was walking in the market when she was
[10:38]walking in the market she saw balloon balloon was playing with the
[10:40]kids and what balloon was doing is that he was drawing a
[10:45]castle on the sands and then zubeida came so by the looked
[10:48]at balloon and he said she said the rule what is this
[10:51]he said this is a castle that I built myself jokingly now
[10:54]so by the said I want to buy this castle he said
[10:56]if you want to buy this castle then you need to pay
[10:59]a thousand coins a thousand golden coins she looked at the servant
[11:01]and she said you know what pay him a thousand golden coins
[11:05]and then he did he took the golden coins and he spread
[11:07]them on the for Cara on the poor what happened the same
[11:11]night is that her own or as she saw a dream when
[11:14]he saw a dream in his dream that he was on judgement
[11:15]day and then he looked on his right and he saw a
[11:19]palace built and had the name of Zubaydah on its his wife
[11:23]now he wanted to walk into the castle but the angels were
[11:25]in allow him he said why they said because your wife bought
[11:30]this Palace from balloon the next day he woke up and he
[11:32]said finally balloon he said then he started walking in the market
[11:35]and then he came across balloon boy who was doing the same
[11:38]thing with the kids and he said balloon I want to buy
[11:41]this palace from you he said are you willing to pay for
[11:43]it he said well it depends how much and he said then
[11:46]this is why your intention is not sincere your wife she paid
[11:48]without even asking that you are longing for a palace and the
[11:51]Hereafter yet you're not willing pay pay for it in this dunya
[11:56]right a very simple act sometimes can be multiplied in the eyes
[11:58]of Allah Allah Subhanahu WA Ta'ala looks into how sincere we are
[12:03]and therefore he Ward us in return so that's the concept of
[12:05]Amal and jessa and in this sense you will find that there
[12:10]are two kinds of people in this world when it comes Dharma
[12:12]there are people that are willing to give in the pathway of
[12:15]allah subhana wa ta'ala or to commit amal yet in a precise
[12:21]account like a calculator that counts all right you find that there
[12:25]are people that are willing to only give yet with a precise
[12:27]account is that many people sometimes come to you or many people
[12:32]sometimes come to us and they ask they say share now you
[12:33]see I'm only responsible to do my budget right I'm only responsible
[12:38]to do my duties I'm only responsible to do my salaat I'm
[12:40]only responsible to do my say on anything mustahab there is not
[12:44]watch it isn't it is that many people come and ask is
[12:48]that the most ahaab is not a budget so you don't really
[12:49]need to do it true and you have absolutely every right to
[12:54]do that yet are you willing that allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala would deal
[12:58]with you in the same way is that you if you want
[13:00]to be technical with allah subhana wa ta'ala when allah subhanaw taala
[13:03]is gonna be back technical with you isn't it is that f
[13:05]allah is gonna be back technical with you you can truly afford
[13:08]this so there are people that are only willing to give in
[13:10]a precise account something to a certain extent and not more isn't
[13:15]it is that even some people have conditions and we imagine for
[13:19]instance sometimes I get invited to dinners for instance and they call
[13:22]them fundraising dinners right and those fundraising dinners is that you would
[13:26]notice that there are names being mentioned Philon did gave that much
[13:29]donation and that Philon gave that much donation he owns that restaurant
[13:31]make sure you go eat in that restaurant isn't it is that
[13:36]people want to reward sure unless a penalty Allah will reward you
[13:38]yes Allah will reward you but he will reward you according to
[13:43]your intention yes some people they want they want to give they
[13:45]want their name to be mentioned and the name of their fathers
[13:47]their forefathers their families and I don't know about you but recently
[13:51]there's this new thing I don't even know if I wanna call
[13:54]it a bit ah it's not my position to do that or
[13:56]not I'm not a fatty to do that yeah there's something called
[13:58]the donation wall I don't know if you have something like that
[14:02]meaning what meaning he step into a center and you find that
[14:04]the wall every brick has a name that that family paid this
[14:08]much right and why wonder is that back in the days when
[14:10]the companies of rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam they built the masjid
[14:15]of qiba and some of them paid an expensive price as a
[14:18]result of that building the masjid of qiba right working sincerely from
[14:23]the bottom of their hearts right being bullied within the society and
[14:27]the community is that why is it that nowaday when you walk
[14:29]to the messages never we you don't find the name of omar
[14:32]IBN yasir on one of the pillars right or even the name
[14:34]of abu dharr al-jaafari on one of the bricks right or the
[14:38]name of any other company or salmonella Mohammed on one of the
[14:42]bricks right because their intention was simply a godly pure one is
[14:44]that you have the right to do there's no absolutely no no
[14:49]problem with it Reiter is potentially speaking yet on the other hand
[14:51]allah subhanaw taala is gonna deal with you on the same perspective
[14:53]Allah shall provide you yet but on the same exact perspective in
[14:57]that sense now in that sense you'll find that there are people
[15:00]that are willing to a precise account there's a condition also there's
[15:02]always a condition I remember one time one of the funniest questions
[15:05]I have ever received is that the person that asked me is
[15:10]that is there a system or is there a program I'm not
[15:11]really I'm very literate when it comes to computers by the way
[15:15]he named one of those names is there a program or an
[15:16]app that I could trace the homeless that I pay I said
[15:19]what do you mean trace the homeless that you pay he says
[15:22]well you know when you pay your homos I said yes sometimes
[15:23]it's my email transfer okay well of course you can trace that
[15:27]he said no no I want to know where the homeless went
[15:29]I said subhanAllah what do you mean he said well maybe Dharmaraja
[15:32]they need to have a system on their websites that you can
[15:37]trace the homeless that you pay in a sense you really want
[15:40]to trace the homeless I said okay fine now let me ask
[15:43]you a question how about we also add a feature on those
[15:47]websites that we trace the source of the money that you got
[15:50]paid from it's not know mallanna that's different is that know why
[15:54]is it different isn't it the same exact way do you really
[15:57]want the maraj ID with you in that sense right they really
[15:59]want to expose that we know that's getting paid from the Hamas
[16:02]that's raising orphans do you want to expose those poor people it's
[16:07]really interesting it is narrated that a man came to Imam acidophilus
[16:10]salam and he thought the more imam i regularly pay my zakat
[16:12]to my next-door neighbor the imam looked any money suffered hamdulillah that's
[16:17]good is the closest person to you so pay him the zakat
[16:20]he's in need he sport he said yes imam but I have
[16:22]noticed lately that he's been buying meets a lot of needs see
[16:28]back in the days meat was a privilege see and then the
[16:30]man was saying well I'm paying my zakat to my neighbor but
[16:35]he's buying a lot of meat with it it's almost as if
[16:37]it's bugging him that these guys pay him the cards and since
[16:40]he's poor he had no right to to eat meat isn't it
[16:42]the imam replied back to him a beautiful reply and he said
[16:47]then even even so keep on spending on him now focus on
[16:53]this he said keep on spending on him so he can keep
[16:55]on spending on his children so they can be equal to the
[17:00]other children et thought how beautiful is this this is when you
[17:02]understand the concept of the card where does it stand for meaning
[17:04]what meaning even if he was spending it on a privilege yet
[17:09]on the other hand that this is a privilege that he deserves
[17:11]this is a privilege that his children are being deprived from so
[17:14]why not right so you notice that there are people that are
[17:17]willing to pay only with an account now you're only a certain
[17:19]calculated accounts the other type of people that are willing to give
[17:23]are the ones that are willing to give in the pathway of
[17:26]Allah without an account meaning they are sincerely providing in the pathway
[17:30]of Allah when they work they work and they don't ask anything
[17:35]from those worldly desires they don't even want to be known they
[17:38]don't even want their names to be mentioned yes these are the
[17:41]people that are really pure and pure from within you would notice
[17:45]that when the story of Lobby Moses allah wa allahu wa sallam
[17:47]money what did he do when he migrated and then here he
[17:50]reached the median when he reached the median he realized that there
[17:54]are people around the world and he realized that two girls the
[17:56]two daughters and they ended up being the daughters of Labiche rival
[17:58]salaam and they wanted to water the flock but they couldn't so
[18:01]the ayah says perfectly is that not be Musel is allah and
[18:05]he watered the flock the he watered their flock then he left
[18:07]whether he left to the shade and he sat down and I
[18:11]want you to focus on this so Nabi Musa al-salaam helps those
[18:15]two girls there's two girls and then he wore is their flock
[18:17]and then right away on the spot he leaves you see a
[18:20]lot of one might ask this question is that right away on
[18:22]the spot he doesn't even stay and talk and he didn't do
[18:27]that because he's a Saudi no he really did that what the
[18:28]reason why he did this is simply because he did he does
[18:32]not want any thanks from them see he didn't stick around and
[18:35]the first thing is said you know are you good you're happy
[18:39]now you need anything else sister right see many of us might
[18:41]do something like that he's my number is my Facebook accounts and
[18:44]there's anything that you need you can contact me right no we
[18:47]didn't do any of that right away left and then he sat
[18:49]down under the shade and What did he say and he said
[18:52]oh Allah even though you've provided me with a lot after all
[18:56]what you've provided me with I am still a fattier I'm still
[18:59]poor and then the result of that was what that's one of
[19:01]the daughters of nimisha I believe Salaam came to him and she
[19:05]said that my father calls you to his house and he wants
[19:06]to thank you for what you did to us right and then
[19:09]he ended up marrying the daughter of I believe English urbanism ten
[19:12]years so sometimes the more you hide a good deed that you've
[19:15]done the more allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala will reward you for it and
[19:18]therefore you would notice that people that are willing to give in
[19:21]the pathway of allah and do something under good without any exposures
[19:25]are the true sincere believers and that's what really distinguished the movement
[19:30]of imam zein salawatu i was salam ala isn't it is that
[19:34]you find many of the Companions of Imam Husain salawatu lo ceremony
[19:37]there are still commemorated in until this day simply why because what
[19:41]distinguished the uprising of Imam Husain salawatu la salam ala was the
[19:44]sincerity of those companions that he had with him that each one
[19:49]of them will believe totally in the act that he was doing
[19:52]isn't it is that there was an absolute pure intention behind it
[19:55]to the point that a man tells the one of the companions
[19:58]one for saying what does he tell him focus on this and
[20:01]it wasn't what it doesn't that what imam that to me the
[20:03]point of living does not mean anything if you were not to
[20:07]be present in this world and living under the oppression of of
[20:10]bani Omaha isn't it and another person tells him all Imam that
[20:13]even if I were to Martir and then we be brought back
[20:16]to life and then Martir and then we brought back to life
[20:20]again even if this happened to me a thousand times that I
[20:22]would still choose what I have done that's a pure sincere intention
[20:27]in that sense and therefore you would notice that these are two
[20:30]types of people when it comes to that I'm an one Allah
[20:31]subhana Allah wants to reward you he will look into that how
[20:37]sincere intention is and then he shall multiply that reward and this
[20:39]is what leads us to the third point and show a lot
[20:42]of his discussion tonight which is let's reflect back on the verse
[20:45]that we started with Allah subhana WA Ta'ala said bismillah ar-rahman ar-rahim
[20:50]this verse is called ayat and nor in Surat son nor the
[20:52]verse of an or in surah he said the first thing he
[20:55]said the rijal allah told him to Geraldton wala bear and by
[21:01]men whom nor bargaining and nor trading distracts them from the remembrance
[21:07]of allah you see the first thing that i want to reflect
[21:09]upon is that allah did not mention in the quran that these
[21:14]people did not have a bargaining they did not have a treaty
[21:16]he didn't say that they are totally focused on ebody see a
[21:19]lot of us might think that in order for me to reach
[21:23]the highest levels that the nearest of Allah subhanAllah to be a
[21:26]pure successful woman that I need to totally detach from the from
[21:30]this world absolutely no that is very wrong I remember one time
[21:34]I stepped into a barber and the first thing he told me
[21:37]he said Mawlana don't worry don't look at me you know I'm
[21:40]all stylish and stuff but don't worry trust me I have a
[21:43]plan in my mind I said well first of all I'm not
[21:44]worried I'm not even judging you for what he looked but what's
[21:48]your plan I'm really interested to know he got me curious he
[21:50]said I am working right now I'm doing my best and then
[21:55]after a while I shall retire and I'm gonna move I'm gonna
[21:58]buy me a piece of land and a mountain build the house
[22:01]and just spend the rest of my life worshipping a lot there
[22:04]said that's interesting do you have a copy of the contract you
[22:07]have with the Angel of Death molecular some people act as if
[22:11]they have a cough a contract with medical notes you know what
[22:13]I'm not dying now don't worry about it right no this is
[22:16]not the time I'm dying I'm gonna live and then I'm gonna
[22:19]retire why do you need to do all this I said you
[22:21]don't need the mountain and you don't need a secluded land and
[22:23]you don't need a house to build and worship Allah and retire
[22:26]totally know that the concept of Yemen is ibadah rasool allah sallallahu
[22:30]wasallam says in a beautiful narration that ebody is separated into 70
[22:37]chapters the best of it is asking for result the Taliban result
[22:40]meaning trade there's nothing wrong with this rasool allah salallahu sallam would
[22:46]push people in society to be traders to work right not necessarily
[22:51]have a job and there's a difference between both by the way
[22:55]is that many people might think that the whole notion is to
[22:57]have a job I want you to focus on a narration that
[23:02]Rasul Allah Solano's Elam would walk into the in Mecca if he
[23:04]would see a youth walking on the street he would ask him
[23:09]what's your name the second question would be is that do you
[23:11]have a trade notice this I want you to focus on this
[23:17]and there isn't anything the concept of working mentioned in the Quran
[23:20]that it says a job Rasulullah is not asking a man if
[23:25]he had a job if he has a job he asks the
[23:25]youth if you have a trade and there's a difference between both
[23:30]is that many of us think that the best way let's say
[23:33]for example for my son to gain responsibility as for him to
[23:36]get a job your son is not going to learn anything for
[23:38]flipping burgers at McDonald's it doesn't work this way these type of
[23:43]jobs will not increase your abilities whatsoever and skills not at all
[23:46]unless you're learning the profession itself unless you're learning how to cook
[23:50]and I don't think mr.
[23:52]MacDonald's gonna teach you the recipe isn't it that's and on the
[23:56]other hand you find that a lot of youth refuse to work
[24:00]with their parents all right I know many parents that a mechanic
[24:03]a barber a baker you know and so forth and then their
[24:08]son you would come to him and say why don't you work
[24:09]with your father you say no we don't get along well why
[24:12]don't you make it as a learning experience why don't you gain
[24:15]a trade yes he one wise man once said to me is
[24:19]that a trade might not make you a millionaire but at the
[24:21]same time you won't go poor with the trade isn't it is
[24:25]that there's always something that's always pushing that oh go work go
[24:28]get a job yes unless that job is a learning experience unless
[24:32]you're gaining something you're learning something and combine that with the university
[24:36]degree and there's nothing wrong with that it is important to have
[24:39]a trade learn something there's always an artistic side that we have
[24:42]there isn't any human being in this world that is not born
[24:46]without a talent right there is in one human I'll give you
[24:48]an example reflect on all the messengers on the prophets of Allah
[24:53]show me one messenger that did not have a trade a profession
[24:55]and it always involves something that they did with their hands something
[24:59]extremely artistic be it carpentry or not be David that would alayhis-salam
[25:02]being an iron Smith it was always something that they did with
[25:05]their own hands every one has an artistic side if not then
[25:08]you know how to write if not then you know how to
[25:10]write poetry it's not that you know how to speak if not
[25:13]then you know something else and I always have a trade do
[25:17]not depend on always having a job learn a trade and that's
[25:18]why by the way a lot of people might say you know
[25:21]what come and say Allah Allah Allah Himself used to work for
[25:24]Khadija acellam no no no he used to work with Khadija and
[25:26]there's a difference between both he never worked for Khadija and by
[25:31]the way that is not to belittle the concept of having a
[25:33]job whatsoever no not at all and there's anything that even the
[25:37]prophets Allah Allah seldom would always look up to people who work
[25:42]up to people that are supporting their families imam sadiq ali salaam
[25:45]it is narrated that one time he saw his next-door neighbor rushing
[25:47]and then he told him what's wrong he said no I'm late
[25:50]for my job he said then rush even faster for allah subhana
[25:54]wa ta'ala as writing you has a nut in every step that
[25:56]you're taking has nothing wrong with that whatsoever it is narrated that
[25:59]one time rasulullah sallallahu alehiwassallaam with one of the other companions and
[26:04]of the Wolof companions you know and then he saw a farmer
[26:07]approaching Rasul Allah the farmer got excited when he approached her soul
[26:11]Allah he he stretched his hand to shake his hand now Rasul
[26:15]Allah shook his hand and hugged him and then he wanted to
[26:19]shake the hand of the companion the companion took his hand away
[26:20]why because he's a farmer he realized some people that do hard
[26:22]labor they have rough skin on their hands so he refused to
[26:27]shake his hand I sold a lot took his hand back again
[26:31]he kissed it and he put it on his forehead and he
[26:32]said Allah what a pseudo this is a hand that Allah and
[26:38]His Messenger loved and he said it three times there's nothing wrong
[26:41]with that yet it is important that you learn a trade understanding
[26:44]that that trade is definitely gonna support you at the end of
[26:47]the day it is something and that's what you find out that
[26:50]people that have accumulated wealth like 12th right there's a difference between
[26:54]wealthy and rich isn't it all right they're totally different wealthy I
[26:58]don't know you could say that Shaquille O'Neal is wealthy but sorry
[27:03]rich Shaquille O'Neal is rich but wealthy is the man who's signing
[27:06]his check so there's difference between both so people that have accumulated
[27:10]wealth is that what it all came from a trade it all
[27:12]came from something that they were known with now something important to
[27:15]have so allah subhanaw taala is saying what did he general not
[27:19]only integer return will obey he didn't say that these are people
[27:23]that are totally focused on a bada and that's it not at
[27:25]all he said that these are people that have a trade they
[27:29]have a business they bargain and even look at the quranic expression
[27:31]that's the jar it's all about bargaining neither beginning nor trading so
[27:35]there's even a bargain they go down to the market they bargain
[27:38]they buy and sell right and they bargained for a price but
[27:44]the difference is is that they do not allow this type of
[27:46]bargaining or this job or this type of work to take distract
[27:52]them from the remembrance of allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala right and that your
[27:56]members of allah support are not only this the second thing is
[27:59]that they always remember allah subhanaw taala they always their focuses on
[28:02]the Hereafter is that there there is less halong because their focus
[28:05]is on the hereafter so the first thing is that they do
[28:08]not allow them distract them from that remembrance of Allah what autonomous
[28:11]salat and maintaining the prayer right is that one understanding that when
[28:17]you're working is that always give time for your salat understand that
[28:21]your salat is important too and let your day we both wall
[28:25]around your salat timing all right so they do not allow that
[28:28]that to distract them from salat from the maintaining the prayer and
[28:32]what and paying the zakat meaning that from what they have they
[28:36]are willing to give in the pathway of Allah subhana WA Ta'ala
[28:40]why simply because you have phone ailment that Allah Buffy help Nobu
[28:44]all absurd they are fearful of a day where in the hearts
[28:47]and the sites where in the hearts and the sides shall be
[28:52]reflected upon 1/2 only omen that Allah Buffy help on oovoo Wallops
[28:56]are now in return remember what we said earlier in the beginning
[29:00]of the lecture we said that there's always a relationship between a
[29:04]man and Jessa now in return what does Allah subhana WA Ta'ala
[29:07]say the verse continues Leah jizya whom Allah who is anima emiru
[29:14]so that Allah may reward them back with the best of what
[29:16]they have done I want you to focus on this say you
[29:19]realize allah subhanaw taala doesn't say in exchange that he reward them
[29:22]back for what they have done know what the best of what
[29:24]they have done because we're dealing here with the Creator not the
[29:30]created the Creator pays you back for exactly the amount of work
[29:34]that you've done you go when you worked on certain amount of
[29:36]hours you got paid I don't know how much for an hour
[29:40]and in that sense you know what you got paid back in
[29:45]return great now Allah subhana WA Ta'ala says no he says that
[29:48]Allah shall reward them back with the best of what they have
[29:51]done not with the minimum not an even reward but with the
[29:56]best of what they have done simply why as we said earlier
[29:58]because of that sincere intention is that what all the success that
[30:05]they had that they had that sincere intention within their hearts with
[30:08]the best of what they had done that's the first feature the
[30:10]second feature why as either human fodhla and then he would even
[30:14]enhance them from has greatness and from his generosity that he would
[30:21]enhance that reward that we would be even multiplied that reward would
[30:25]be even given more simply why again because they are fearful of
[30:31]that day their intention is purely to allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala why is
[30:34]he dumb father well ah huuuh Kamisha will be ready hey saab
[30:39]and allah shall reward whoever he wishes without an account as that
[30:44]he remember what we said earlier the two types of people that
[30:48]some of them are willing to give wooden accounts but only with
[30:50]the calculated account and some that I'm willing to you without an
[30:52]account allah subhanaw taala would even multiply that without a account and
[30:58]therefore you would notice when you reflect upon this verse understanding that
[31:02]one imam husain salawatu Louis alum Allah gave the famous sermon in
[31:08]Mecca what he did is that first of all what he did
[31:09]is that he cut off the Hajj he Caravaggio didn't he a
[31:13]second thing is that he gave a sermon to the people announcing
[31:16]his movements and what he intends from it and what type of
[31:21]followers that he wants Imam Hassan Salwa to lower ceremonies Edwards famously
[31:26]said al-amin can afina body lon Marja to Morton and Allah Allah
[31:33]Allah he never saw failure Hal monophony raha hoon evident insha Allah
[31:39]right he said whoever is ready to so basically imam hussain is
[31:47]telling that if you were to do to join my movement that
[31:50]you need to have certain conditions in you but whoever is ready
[31:54]to sacrifice her soul for us and this is the type of
[31:57]intentions that imam hussain wanted with him i didn't want just anyone
[32:02]said whoever is willing to sacrifice his soul for us and has
[32:07]stationed himself upon meeting allah subhanahu wa ta'ala doesn't say that he's
[32:12]willing to meet allah subhanaw taala stationed himself meaning the person who
[32:17]had worked thoroughly on him or herself from meeting Allah subhana WA
[32:22]Ta'ala a person that they had a lifestyle that naturally speaking the
[32:25]result of it that they would acknowledge the Imam of that and
[32:30]therefore you would notice there was only a few that join democracy
[32:35]analyst run from all the Muslim Ummah that was present there isn't
[32:38]it Ammar personally is Salam What did he say he said that
[32:41]whoever is willing to sacrifice his soul for us I mean is
[32:47]understanding the value of elevates a lot 11 Salam marry him understanding
[32:51]their position in this life mortal and Allah Allah Allah enough soul
[32:56]and then that your soul is stationed upon meeting Allah subhana WA
[33:00]Ta'ala understanding that this is what you longed for in this life
[33:06]is that as a result for joining the moment of Imam Hassan
[33:09]Ali Salaam that indeed you shall meet Allah subhana WA Ta'ala failure
[33:16]Hal mana so let him leave with us he doesn't say anything
[33:19]else these are the conditions that he put because if you understand
[33:23]those two conditions and if you raise yourself and purify your soul
[33:29]to that extent then indeed you shall recognize the Imam of your
[33:32]time is that how many of us long for the Imam is
[33:35]a man has a lot on Affairs relief ayatollah bath may allah
[33:38]bless his soul and say the worst or can be the door
[33:40]allah awj in furniture so Allah please accelerators reappearance I can be
[33:47]the worst one why because your actions can be saying o Allah
[33:50]please don't bring in as many of us might not understand what
[33:52]is the point of understanding who the Imam our gelato eventually face
[33:58]or is he present amongst us is that how many of us
[34:00]are willing to station our in our souls upon meeting the Imam
[34:05]our gelato elephant of Sharif right what do you say in turn
[34:09]and our number you say later Shari is that Arabic al Noah
[34:15]right what you're doing is that you're mourning the Imam you're mourning
[34:18]the fact that you're not with the amount and he's saying how
[34:20]I wonder where has foreign is taking you later charlie anistar you
[34:26]are then - toluca al Farah or which land or soil is
[34:31]carrying you is that you're wondering that where is my mom RG
[34:34]open allah o allah Torah is that how hard it is for
[34:39]me that I can see all the creatures yet I cannot see
[34:42]you how many of us wake up in the morning and they
[34:44]say you know what why is it that I could see everyone
[34:48]around me everything around me yet I cannot see my Imam right
[34:52]there sometimes understanding that those are the same conditions by the way
[34:56]when Imam our gelato Federation finally shall we appear believe it or
[34:59]not he will have the same exact conditions as imam hussain salawats
[35:02]allow ceremony it's an uprising it's not going to be an easy
[35:04]one you will have the same exact conditions so it's all in
[35:11]your hands understandings that what leads you to the Imam let me
[35:14]give you an example is that you would notice that wannabe use
[35:16]of law at los alamos were thrown in the world right he
[35:20]was saved by a carriage wasn't he see what led the carriage
[35:26]to the world it was literally the first and that they became
[35:30]thirsty one day became thirsty they had to approach the world when
[35:33]they got to the world the world led them to who to
[35:36]the Imam of their time there in it never use a phallus
[35:39]Allah let them to the nabhi to the prophet of their time
[35:42]to the Imam of their time so they saved of Yusuf is
[35:47]that how thirsty you are could you be for your Imam I
[35:51]shall not Aleph associative is that the more thirsty you are the
[35:54]more you would long for the Imam there is absolutely no doubt
[35:58]about it what led a lot bonier seed area he and his
[36:04]soldiers the Imam Hossein salawatu low ceremony wasn't it also the thirst
[36:11]as that wunderhorn arrived and he saw him a personally salaam the
[36:16]narrations say that the carriage of a or the platoon that'll hurt
[36:19]came with they were all thirsty they didn't have enough water and
[36:22]that's what led to the whole dialogue with imam hassan salameh tell
[36:25]us in our money and that's what made Horn reflect and ponder
[36:30]and think on the 10th of Muharram on the land of Karbala
[36:33]and he famously said I am choosing between hellfire and heaven and
[36:40]indeed I shall not choose Hellfire over heaven right so was the
[36:43]thirst of heart now how thirsty are you for the Imam Angela
[36:46]Ferrara Sharif and therefore a beautiful poem said by the recent poet
[36:52]may Allah lengthen his life Sirdar concerning this points approaching and welcoming
[36:59]the tragedy of Mahatma mrs.
[37:02]Omaha from the candle of Husseini of let's whatever has an eye
[37:06]today finds that I wets the tears that follow the tears that
[37:13]flow remind the eyes that may forget these that these are the
[37:17]days when the sword Husein had matzah when I remember him the
[37:24]tears from my eyes burst I wish that those tears could flow
[37:27]to soothe Hussein's thirst a wonderful is I wish that those tears
[37:31]could flow to soothe Husein stir stir whenever I drink and his
[37:37]killers I have cursed that I wish that before I drink how
[37:40]sane could drink first how many years have passed oh about abdullah
[37:45]hussein and every year we gather around and we say yeah lights
[37:52]an akuna markham or hussein oh we wish we could have been
[37:55]there for you and we still cry out or wish we could
[37:58]have been there with you and Carmela yet when we go back
[38:03]home Hussein have each and every one of us we hug and
[38:08]kiss our children goodnight sir or Hussein on the 10th of Muharram
[38:11]ah I wonder how your children fell asleep that night I wonder
[38:14]how the children of Bani Hashim I went to sleep knowing that
[38:20]the next day they shall be taken as captives to Kufa and
[38:23]from Kufa to Shama I wonder how sayida Sakina salawatullahi wa salamu
[38:28]ala has slept that night I wonder how sayeda zeinab salawatullahi wa
[38:33]salamu ala yasin when she ran to that tell to the hill
[38:39]and she cried out I see how sane oh my brother Hussein
[38:47]Habibi how sane oh my beloved how sane if you were to
[38:49]be alive then come to our rescue and if you were to
[38:53]be killed than in a lie hello Jonah I wonder how I
[39:00]see now Zeynep walked back and marched back to the camper I
[39:03]wonder how Xena Ballia Salama ran from 110 to another gathering the
[39:11]children of bani hashem and attenti of the sick imam zain al-abideen
[39:16]salawatullahi wa salamu ala inna lillahi wa ala he wrote your own
