The United States does not have authority to close Venezuelan's airspace.
[0:05]
It certainly doesn't have the authority to blockade Venezuela as it has
[0:10]
through decades of sanctions.
[0:12]
Doesn't have the authority to carry out coup attempts.
[0:16]
And most especially, it does not have the authority to extrajudicially murder
[0:22]
uh people on the ocean in international waters.
[0:27]
Most people know that when the US fixates on something like this,
[0:30]
there's definitely more than, you know, what meets the eye.
[0:32]
>> The storyline that the United States is doing this to protect
[0:38]
its citizens from nefarious and evil drug traffickers.
[0:40]
These types of narratives are used by governments, you know, around the
[0:46]
world and throughout history to justify their actions.
[0:48]
>> Do you think policy makers are again repeating the same mistakes,
[0:51]
the same miscalculations that they've done with previous situations?
[0:55]
The United States is is acting in complete disregard of international order,
[1:00]
international laws, international institutions.
[1:03]
But you know, this is the way empires will act and that's
[1:06]
what you have here.
