[13:26]try to wrap up in time for the people in the west

[13:28]coast to also be able to inshallah enjoy their Iftars so regarding

[13:32]the the personality that whose birthday were celebrating I wanted to share

[13:38]with you just a couple of things we're going to try to

[13:41]keep it short and then inshallah we're gonna move to the recitation

[56:58]in ninth grade in Los Angeles and her poem is called I

[56:59]am Roma Bahn and her sister zina is in she was in

[57:10]sixth grade okay I am Ramadan who am I the one who

[57:16]in the day forbids you to eat the one who all night

[57:18]has you stand on your feet and sit down signed relief defeat

[57:22]for those who benefit never want me to be over these believers

[57:25]do not seek closure they want me to stay with them like

[57:28]the angel on their shoulder sadly the disbelievers are bolder in their

[57:31]high style colder wishing I would leave so they could go back

[57:35]to their indulgences and greed living in comfort without thinking of the

[57:38]day when God will take everything they have a way leaving them

[57:41]in dismay they'll hold their hands up to pray but in their

[57:43]hearts they know it's too late Who am I the one who

[57:48]causes the Muslims together to share a meal pray and learn together

[57:50]to rejoice like the Sun after stormy weather but remember those who

[57:55]suffer a constant pain those whose plans for a good meal are

[57:58]in vain because of the money they lack the hardship of poverty

[58:01]on their back with your faith intact pray for their relief for

[58:05]your fasting pains are brief God wants all his followers to pray

[58:10]for one another so do this to enhance your belief Who am

[58:12]I the one who comes when the devil is shackled making the

[58:17]quest to heaven easier to tackle to stay away from the fires

[58:20]crackle excuses for sin may arise the pandemic this year sure it

[58:23]will be different but what right do you have to forget me

[58:27]don't extinguish your light because with that light the path is clear

[58:30]and you'll find your way without it you're sure to go astray

[58:33]I'm Ramadan mashallah both of those poems had such depth and meaning

[58:42]to them and they were quite profound I mean I wanted to

[58:45]think zina in Naima for really spending some time thinking about what

[58:49]is the true message of the month well Don I think we

[58:53]all benefited from that and we can take that to heart in

[58:58]sha Allah I mean when Naima says that remember those who suffer

[59:01]a constant pain whose plans for a good meal are in vain

[59:03]because of the money they lack the hardship of poverty on their

[59:07]back with your faith intact pretty further relief we can't help but

[59:12]to remember those who are suffering in in our countries in elsewhere

[59:16]abroad it's such profound words thank you so much for those wonderful

[59:20]reminders can I have a thought a lot please to appreciate all

[60:40]and all the way from India and all the way from Uganda

[60:44]and Iran and Kenya as well could we even have from Kenya

[60:49]so masha'Allah okay so basically from all around the world we had

[60:51]people participated we never thought we could be a global competition but

[60:53]it came a global competition so we have a video for you

[60:56]of all the submissions oh and yeah by the way at the

[60:58]end we also have the winners too so at the end of

[61:01]the video you get to see who actually won so we're not

[61:03]showing all the information that was sent to us the recipes we're

[61:06]gonna inshallah be compiling some sort of recipe book and putting that

[61:11]up on the social media for Aloha magazine the winners however will

[61:15]be featured with their recipes but that will be separate posts on

[61:18]the social media so thank you all for participating I was really

[61:22]pleased with that and of course the it's not about food per

[61:27]se it's about trying to appreciate the depth of the Quran and

[61:30]the Quran talks about so many subjects and learning about the Quran

[72:46]more careful about what we take in into our minds and into

[72:48]our hearts let's always be people who only take in the most

[72:54]precious and the most pure things and also what we produce is

[72:57]also the most precious and beautiful and pure as well so we
