[0:25]than [singing] Ali Allah Allah.
[1:13]Hi all.
[1:36][snorts] Allah illuhammed Aliuhammed.
[2:16]Alhamdulillah.
[2:19]Alhamdulillah.
[2:26]Speech.
[2:27]Speech.
[2:28]Speech.
[3:06]Ali Muhammad Ali Muhammad My dear brothers and sisters, the 27th of
[3:55]Rajab is the anniversary of the of the of the Holy Prophet
[4:06]on which day the holy prophet was officially commissioned by God to
[4:12]deliver the message of Islam.
[4:13]And this happened when was [snorts] in the cave of in Jabal
[4:22]the mountain by the name of Jabal in Mecca when the prophet
[4:28]was 40 years old.
[4:29]He used to go and meditate.
[4:34]He used to leave the vices of his community and he used
[4:41]to spend sometimes hours or days in the cave.
[4:45]He used to meditate and pray to God.
[4:51]And one day while he was in the cave, he heard a
[4:55]sound.
[4:56]And that sound came from the angel of God.
[5:02]And that sound began to tell him.
[5:05]Oh, read.
[5:20]The first five verses of surah were revealed untoas.
[5:30]And from that moment began to receive the revelation which lasted 23
[5:40]years.
[5:38]And from the first moment did not hesitate did not show any
[5:45]hesitation any weakness in delivering that grand message the message of Islam.
[5:54]Today there are some historians that come and try to give credit
[6:01]to others and show that the prophet hesitated at first and then
[6:05]he goes to Khadijah and Khadijah tells him I have a cousin
[6:11]who's a Christian who's familiar with the old text the Bible and
[6:15]the injil and I will ask him what you experienced so that
[6:20]he could verify and then she goes and she asks and he
[6:26]tells her, "Yes, he's a prophet.
[6:27]This is what happened to MS and Isa and all of the
[6:32]other prophets." Of course, we disagree and we do not accept this
[6:35]narrative because this narrative shows that Prophet Muhammad was doubting in his
[6:40]own prophethhood and he needed a non-Muslim.
[6:44]He needed either a Christian to come and verify that he's a
[6:51]prophet.
[6:49]if he's going to be trying to convince people that he's a
[6:53]prophet, why would he doubt that he is a prophet himself?
[6:58]So it doesn't make sense.
[6:58]So we believe and this is the narrative of the says that
[7:03]the prophet from the first moment right away he knew he was
[7:08]a prophet.
[7:07]In fact he was a prophet before this event took place.
[7:12]This event just commissioned the prophet that was formally giving the responsibility.
[7:19]Now of course the Quran began to be revealed on the heart
[7:23]of the prophet and would feel the magnitude and the intensity of
[7:30]the Quran.
[7:32]The Quran is no average talk.
[7:34]The Quran is the words of Allah subhana wa tala being revealed
[7:40]on the heart of the prophet and Allah says in the Quran
[7:50]if this Quran were to be revealed on a mountain the mountain
[7:55]would crumble.
[7:57]So imagine the heart of that became the recipient of the words
[8:02]of God.
[8:03]So obviously the prophet sometimes when the Quran would be revealed on
[8:08]him he would begin to shake he would begin to shiver because
[8:14]of the magnitude of the message and rool he goes down from
[8:17]the cave he goes to khadijah and he's shivering he's shivering because
[8:21]of what he had experienced and then another surah comes down another
[8:26]verses set of verses come down upon Oh man who is covered
[8:42]up.
[8:43]Get up and warn people.
[8:45]You have a message to deliver.
[8:48]You don't have time to waste.
[8:50]And from that moment began to deliver the message, began to speak
[8:57]to people and tell people about the message of Islam.
[9:02]A short while while later another set of verses came down upon
[9:07]the prophet, encouraging the prophet and helping him and supporting him.
[9:11]this time.
[9:26]Meaning if you are feeling weak, if you're feeling despair, then turn
[9:33]to Allah subhanana wa ta'ala through your prayers.
[9:35]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will give you the strength.
[9:40]sallallahu alaihi began on the 27th of Rajab and he began to
[9:47]deliver the message.
[9:50]The first three years, the first three years of re of delivering
[9:53]the message was a private um private delivery of the message.
[9:59]Meaning the prophet did not go out publicly and announce.
[10:03]He would seek out people and he would tell them about his
[10:07]prophethood.
[10:08]And of course the first two that accepted and believed in him
[10:17]were number one and number two the wife of the prophet.
[10:22]These were the first two that accepted the prophet immediately.
[10:25]Immediately as soon as tells him he's a messenger right away they
[10:31]accepted him.
[10:33]And then after the three years finished, then was commanded by God
[10:42]to go out in public and declare that he's a prophet.
[10:48]Go out in public.
[10:55]So he goes and he stands on the mountain of this is
[10:59]where was built.
[11:01]This is where Islam was built.
[11:03]Allah stands on that mountain next to the Kaa and he calls
[11:06]people, "Oh people, come to me.
[11:10]I have a very important message to you." They come, they listen.
[11:14]Of course, they all trust the prophet.
[11:15]He was known as he was known as Al.
[11:18]They know he's not going to be wasting their time.
[11:22]They know every word that he utters is very serious.
[11:28]He tells them Everyone sayahillahillah sayahillahill and you will be victorious.
[11:41]You will be successful.
[11:41]You will find all types of success in this life and in
[11:46]the afterlife just by sayingahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahillah just by saying there is no god
[11:53]other than Allah subhanana wa ta'ala.
[11:55]Of course, some people accepted that message and other people, they turned
[11:59]against the prophet, his own people, his own tribe, people that were
[12:06]from Quraysh, they began to throw rocks at him.
[12:07]They began to assault him.
[12:12]They began to harass him.
[12:14]And he persisted.
[12:15]He remained strong.
[12:18]He never gave up.
[12:18]And he continued day after day.
[12:20]Every day was a difficult day.
[12:22]Every day was a challenge.
[12:29]But within 23 years, just 23 years managed to not only change
[12:36]Mecca, but change the whole Arabian Peninsula into a Muslim country into
[12:43]a Muslim place.
[12:42]And everyone had believed in su and he did not just introduce
[12:52]a religion to people.
[12:51]They say that 50 years after the death of the prophet, there
[12:59]were more non-Arab Muslims than the Arab Muslims.
[13:01]And this shows you that the message of Islam is a universal
[13:06]message.
[13:04]It's not a message that is tribal, a message only to his
[13:09]family, to only his group of people.
[13:12]No, Islam is a universal message.
[13:14]And the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasall did not allow this message to
[13:20]be bound by g geography, by race, by location.
[13:26]Unfortunately, today we limit Islam.
[13:28]Today we Muslims, we have not given Islam the opportunity to spread
[13:33]to non-Muslims the way wanted it to do so.
[13:38]And here Islam became the fastest growing religion, the most impactful, the
[13:43]mo he became the most influential person in history.
[13:48]This is not according to Muslims.
[13:50]This is according to non-Muslim historians.
[13:51]Within 23 years, he managed to guide people to God.
[13:56]He managed to managed to rid the Arab Peninsula of idol worship.
[14:01]He managed to bring up literacy.
[14:05]You know they say historians say that at the time of the
[14:08]birth of the prophet there were only 17 people that used to
[14:14]read or write in Mecca.
[14:14]Only 17 people.
[14:17]But sallallahu alaihi he comes with a message that did not just
[14:22]encourage religion.
[14:21]He encouraged literacy.
[14:24]The first verse that was revealed on the prophet was read.
[14:28]Read in the name of your Lord.
[14:32]He managed to change the culture.
[14:34]The culture of dressing modestly, the culture of eating halal, the culture
[14:39]of of not being oppressive towards minorities, towards others.
[14:43]And this is how this is what the prophet was able to
[14:46]achieve.
[14:47]How he managed to do it?
[14:49]Through several key features that he had.
[14:54]And today my dear brothers and sisters if we apply these characteristics
[15:00]and these qualities in our lives we will also be able to
[15:08]make a change in our life.
[15:08]Number one he used the power of manners and this is something
[15:16]that is very important today.
[15:18]You could deliver a message to someone even if this person is
[15:23]an enemy but if you do it in a kind way if
[15:26]you do it in a compassionate way you will have an impact
[15:30]on their life.
[15:33]Allah subhana wa ta'ala describes the prophet you became you became kind
[15:41]with people from what?
[15:41]From the mercy of God.
[15:50]If you were rude, if you were intolerant, if you were yelling
[15:56]at people and not polite to people, then no one would be
[15:58]around you.
[15:59]This is a key lesson in our lives, my dear brothers and
[16:02]sisters.
[16:02]Whether you're at work, whether you're at school, whether you're in your
[16:06]family today, some people, they say, "I'm in the I'm in my
[16:10]family, but I struggle with my children, with my with people that
[16:13]I live with because no one listens to me." Well, maybe I
[16:19]have to be kind in the way that I speak to them.
[16:22]If you are rude, no one will be around you.
[16:25]If you are always yelling, no one will be around you.
[16:31]So this is how was and he used his manners to deliver
[16:36]that powerful message.
[16:39]One day a lady in Mecca and I've mentioned the story in
[16:43]Mecca.
[16:43]He finds a lady.
[16:45]He comes out and he helps her.
[16:46]He helps her carry the bags and carry whatever she had.
[16:51]She tells him, "Oh man, I don't know you and I know
[16:53]that you're a you seem like you're a very good person.
[16:57]I don't have any money to pay you back for what you
[16:58]did to me, but I have one piece of advice I want
[17:02]to tell you." He tells her, "What is that advice?" She tells
[17:04]him, "There's a lunatic.
[17:06]His name is Muhammad.
[17:07]He's going around telling people he's a prophet.
[17:10]Be careful from him.
[17:10]Stay away from him.
[17:12]This is all that I could give you right Now I don't
[17:13]have money to give you.
[17:16]He tells her Muhammad.
[17:16]Tells her I am Muhammad.
[17:20]She tells him you this is you.
[17:22]This is who you are.
[17:22]And she embraces Islam.
[17:25]This is how managed to change a something that was very negative.
[17:32]The the impression and the perspective that society at that time they
[17:35]called him a majun.
[17:37]They called him a kahan.
[17:38]They called him a poet.
[17:39]They used all types of slander against the prophet.
[17:44]But managed to change that.
[17:46]And this is what the Quran tells us.
[17:53]Repel evil with good.
[17:56]My dear brothers and sisters, this applies to us right now more
[17:59]than any other time.
[18:01]Right now when you go out, do people have a positive impression
[18:04]of Islam or a negative one?
[18:06]Unfortunately, because of mainstream media, because of what they hear in the
[18:10]news, because of politics, many people have a negative impression of Islam.
[18:14]It's up to us to change that.
[18:16]And believe me, most people that either convert to Islam or choose
[18:23]to have a uh better attitude towards Islam, it's because they say,
[18:27]"Oh, I had a co-orker who was very nice.
[18:29]I had a a neighbor who used to bring us food, for
[18:33]example, who used to take care of us." These type of things
[18:35]they really do have an impact.
[18:36]These type of things really make a difference through his he forgave
[18:43]all of his enemies.
[18:44]Imagine have you seen a religion where the people who were fighting
[18:48]the person they end up becoming believers of this person.
[18:53]This was Islam.
[18:52]Go and read the people that fought the prophet.
[18:58]They ended up becoming the believers in this is the mannerism of
[19:06]Islam and this is what Islam comes with.
[19:07]Allah says verily the reason why I was commissioned and sent to
[19:15]deliver a message is to enhance and increase the moral character of
[19:19]society.
[19:20]This is what it is.
[19:23]not to pray, not to fast, not to go to Hajj, not
[19:25]to give to increase and enhance the moral character of society because
[19:31]a person who prays is a person of the person who fasts
[19:34]is a person who should havelak and this is what means by
[19:39]having proper manners with God, proper manners with people in your community,
[19:43]in your society.
[19:43]So this is number one.
[19:46]Number two, he became so successful because he used the power of
[19:54]reason.
[19:53]Often times when we talk about religion, people think it's just, you
[19:59]know, following the bandwagon, following what people are doing.
[20:01]And people make fun of religious communities and religious people, they say,
[20:04]"Oh, they don't follow their reason.
[20:07]They just follow emotions." But in fact, Islam is all about reason.
[20:10]And this is why the first verses that were revealed were what?
[20:14]Read, go and go and study, go and analyze.
[20:22]This insan was created from a blood clot.
[20:28]Your Lord is the one that taught by the pen, taught man
[20:32]that which he does not know.
[20:34]Meaning through reason, through learning, through education, you could get closer to
[20:39]Allah subhana wa tala.
[20:42]And this is why the salah and the ib of someone that
[20:44]is learned is worth more than the one that is ignorant.
[20:49]Why?
[20:48]Because when you are learned, when you are educated, your understanding of
[20:55]God, your understanding of religion is going to be much greater than
[20:59]someone that is shallowminded, someone that is gullible, someone that is easily
[21:04]fooled by other people.
[21:06]And he never belittled the intelligence of people.
[21:10]Today often times you find leaders or people in in positions of
[21:15]power.
[21:16]They belittle the intelligence of their subjects.
[21:19]You see this also in the home.
[21:21]Sometimes parents they tell their kids I want you to do something.
[21:26]The kids say why?
[21:26]They say don't tell me why.
[21:27]Don't ask me why.
[21:29]Just do it because I said so.
[21:30]A lot of leaders this is how they operate.
[21:33]They don't want they don't want to reason with their subjects.
[21:35]They don't want to reason with people.
[21:37]But in Islam, no, there's always room for reason.
[21:41]Allah people would ask him why.
[21:42]He would explain to them.
[21:43]People would ask him questions.
[21:46]He would make time for them.
[21:47]And this is something that is very important to not force beliefs
[21:50]on people because if it's forced on people, the same way it's
[21:53]forced, it's going to go away as well.
[21:55]But if you make them convinced why they need to pray, why
[22:00]they need to believe in God, why they need to practice their
[22:03]religion, then no one will come and sway this person away.
[22:08]And sallallahu alaihi wasallam throughout his life, there are many stories of
[22:13]him reasoning with people, trying to just reach a common ground where
[22:17]they reason with people.
[22:17]One day, a man comes to the prophet and he tells him,
[22:21]"Yahasool Allah, talk to my son.
[22:22]He eats too much dates." The prophet tells him, "Come tomorrow." Why?
[22:27]The next day he comes, the prophet tells him, "Don't it's bad."
[22:31]And then the the kid was convinced.
[22:32]The dad tells the prophet, "Why did you tell him come tomorrow?"
[22:35]Allah said, "Because yesterday I ate dates.
[22:38]So I don't want to be someone who tells someone to do
[22:40]something and I don't do it." See, this is the power of
[22:45]reason.
[22:46]Another time, a man comes to the prophet and he tells him,
[22:48]"Yasool Allah, I like to commit adultery.
[22:50]This is something why convince me why it's wrong.
[22:55]I this is something I enjoy doing.
[22:56]Allah he he reasoned with the man.
[22:59]He tells him would you like someone to say the same thing
[23:03]about your mother or your sister?
[23:04]The man right away he thought for a moment and then he
[23:06]said no I don't like that.
[23:09]Then Allah tells him then you should not want that for someone
[23:12]else's mother or sister.
[23:15]And right away the man was convinced.
[23:15]Another man comes to the masjid of the prophet and a poor
[23:20]person, a poor blind person comes and sits right next to him.
[23:23]So the wealthy person he collects his he collects his clothes and
[23:29]he kind of collects himself so that he is not touched by
[23:33]the other person.
[23:33]Right away looked at him he tells him why did you do
[23:38]that?
[23:39]Are you afraid that his poverty is going to transfer to you
[23:41]or are you afraid that your wealth is going to transfer to
[23:48]him?
[23:45]See the prophet used reason and the man right away he said
[23:52]yeah I don't know why I did that I'm sorry and I
[23:55]I I want to give that poor person one-third of my money
[23:59]and see how that approach this is number two using reason number
[24:05]three my dear brothers and sisters was a uniter not a divider
[24:14]today often times You see people when they want to take positions
[24:18]of power they work on dividing people so that people could follow
[24:23]them.
[24:23]This is what we see politicians do doing.
[24:26]This is what Trump is an expert in doing.
[24:29]For example, he came and he talked about the Mexicans and the
[24:32]Muslims and immigrants and different people so that he could stand out
[24:35]by dividing people being a divisive figure by spreading hatred.
[24:41]But when you look at you see his whole life, he never
[24:47]spread hatred.
[24:46]He was always a uniter.
[24:50]He was always one that brings people together.
[24:52]And even his enemies, he made them feel very safe.
[24:57]He made them feel very safe.
[25:00]when he conquered Mecca Allah he was able to conquer Mecca after
[25:05]the people of Mecca had attacked him and they had oppressed him
[25:10]and they killed his family members when he conquered Mecca made the
[25:17]safest place the fa the safest home was the home of Abu
[25:21]Sufyan he says whoever enters in the home of Abu Sufyan is
[25:25]going to be at peace this was a man who it's just
[25:29]been hours he has just accepted the prophet.
[25:31]But look at the prophet.
[25:32]He was a uniter.
[25:35]He wasn't a person that was divisive in the way that he
[25:38]lived.
[25:39]When he conquered Mecca, he took the keys of the Kaa and
[25:46]brought down all of the idols.
[25:47]He climbed the shoulder of the prophet and he brought down all
[25:50]of the idols from the roof of the Kaa and inside the
[25:54]Kaa.
[25:55]Then the prophet, he says, "Where are the keys of the Kaa?"
[25:57]They came and they brought the keys to Allah.
[26:00]Thenasool Allah he goes and he gives it back to the custodians
[26:03]of thea.
[26:05]They were the ones who had the keys of thea.
[26:08]They were fighting the prophet his whole life.
[26:11]But Allah came and he said this is an ama here.
[26:14]You could take it back.
[26:15]They were shocked.
[26:17]They were shocked that this man he conquered the Kaa but now
[26:20]he came back and he gave them back the keys of the
[26:24]Kaa.
[26:25]This is howasool Allah was another feature.
[26:28]The fourth feature in the life of sallaihi was that the prophet
[26:33]was determined.
[26:31]Today sometimes you might see people they begin a project they begin
[26:38]something in their life and then as soon as they face some
[26:43]challenge as soon as they face something difficult what do they do?
[26:46]The majority of the people they quit.
[26:48]The majority of the people they do not persist they cannot go
[26:54]further.
[26:54]They are afraid.
[26:54]They lose hope.
[26:56]They lose the the courage.
[26:57]They they lose all of that.
[26:59]That's it.
[27:00]Sall was someone who was never a quitter in his life.
[27:05]His whole life he persisted and they tried many ways.
[27:10]They came and they they threatened him.
[27:12]They used verbal assault.
[27:13]They used physical assault.
[27:14]They came and they tried to bribe him.
[27:18]They they said that if you give in a little then we'll
[27:22]give in a little.
[27:22]Don't wage a war against don't come and be against all the
[27:26]idols you know let us have for example only three idols in
[27:31]the Kaa we just want one idol in the house would tell
[27:35]them noahill he never he persisted and he never gave in until
[27:39]the point where they came and they said we will give you
[27:46]whatever you want and sai he tells he tells his uncle Abu
[27:48]Talib if they give me the sun in my right hand and
[27:52]the moon in my left hand so that I give up this
[27:56]matter.
[27:57]I will not give it up.
[27:58]This was Allah.
[28:00]And finally the fifth point is that sallallahu alaihi had the support
[28:05]of God.
[28:03]When you are a mman, when you're a believer, Allah subhanahu wa
[28:10]ta'ala is not going to leave you.
[28:12]And we should read the life of the prophet to see how
[28:14]God stood with the prophet.
[28:17]And that means God will stay with us as well if we
[28:18]are sincere in our faith, in our belief.
[28:29]Allah is the supporter of the Allah is the one who stands
[28:34]with the and does not let them go.
[28:40]If you stand with God, Allah will give you victory.
[28:43]But if you are shaky in your faith, then the support is
[28:48]not going to come as quick as you wish for it to
[28:51]come.
[28:51]We ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to strengthen our im and to
[28:57]give us the faith to stand for our faith and our beliefs
[28:59]and stand with Muhammadham.
[29:24]Alhamdulillah.
[29:26]Alhamdulillah.
[29:53]Aliuhammed Ibraim.
[30:18]Hussein say Hussein Muhammad Aliham for ask the brothers to come forward
[30:47]a little to fill the gap so that people in the back
[30:50]could come in.
[30:51]My dear brothers and sisters, we are talking about the of and
[30:58]the prophet created the fastest growing movement and that is bringing and
[31:04]delivering the message of Islam.
[31:06]However, this message did not come for free.
[31:10]This success did not come for free.
[31:13]Have you seen success come for free in this dunya?
[31:18]Doesn't come for free.
[31:17]And similarly likewise the success of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala gives us
[31:30]an an ingredient to become successful in our lives and this is
[31:34]Allah says in the Quran two very important ingredients for success.
[31:47]us in anything that you do in your life, whether it has
[31:52]to do with faith and this applies to Allah, or it has
[31:54]to do with your work, it has to do with your family,
[31:57]it has to do with the project that you're beginning, whatever you
[32:01]whatever you do.
[32:04]And number one is to be patient.
[32:09]Number one, be patient.
[32:12]Success does not come overnight.
[32:13]Some of us, we want everything to happen very fast.
[32:17]This is why we love everything fast.
[32:20]We love fast internet.
[32:20]We love fast food.
[32:24]We we want fast uh in Instacart.
[32:26]Everything we need it.
[32:27]We everything we want very fast.
[32:28]But sometimes success requires time.
[32:32]It requires persistence.
[32:34]And there's a very beautiful and interesting story on how time sometimes
[32:40]you have to allow time to take its course especially when it
[32:44]comes to doing something big.
[32:45]When it comes to seeking knowledge, for example, you can't just have,
[32:50]you know, we're used to chat GPT.
[32:51]We want all the information right away.
[32:54]Doesn't happen that way.
[32:55]It requires time.
[32:57]It requires persistence.
[32:57]There's a scholar, a sixth Islamic century scholar.
[33:01]His name is Shikh Saki.
[33:04]He's he's he's uh not a follower of the B, but he's
[33:09]a known Islamic scholar, Hanafi scholar.
[33:12]They narrate a very interesting story from his life.
[33:16]He was a blacksmith.
[33:19]So he used to make um out of he used to you
[33:24]know iron and he used to make things a blacksmith.
[33:27]He goes and he makes a gift to give it to the
[33:28]king of the time.
[33:30]He goes and he delivers the gift to the king.
[33:33]The king sees it and he says, "Thank you." And he, you
[33:36]know, it's very normal for him and then he puts it aside.
[33:43]While he's with the king, he he sees a person walk in
[33:45]on the king and the king gets up from his seat and
[33:48]he shows this person the utmost respect.
[33:50]He asked, "Who is that guy?" They tell him, "This is a
[33:53]scholar." So he said, "I went and I worked so hard to
[33:59]give this gift to the king.
[34:00]The king really didn't really pay me that much attention.
[34:04]But the scholar came, he gave him a lot of respect.
[34:09]I'm going to go and become a scholar too.
[34:12]So he goes to the teacher and he was in his 30s.
[34:14]He wasn't young.
[34:17]So he goes to the teacher and he tells him he tells
[34:22]him I want you to teach me so that I become a
[34:23]scholar too.
[34:24]The scholar tells him right now you're at an age where it's
[34:29]a little bit too late for you to begin right now.
[34:30]You need to have begun when you're a teenager for example.
[34:33]He tells him no please I want you to teach me.
[34:38]So the teacher began to tell him okay today this is the
[34:42]lesson that we're learning.
[34:41]I want you to memorize the statement.
[34:49]The the sheh said that the the the skin of a dog
[34:56]becomes pure through tanning through.
[35:00]So he kept repeating it.
[35:05]He said keep repeating that and memorize that.
[35:08]This is today's lesson.
[35:11]The next day he came they tell him okay what was the
[35:14]lesson from yesterday?
[35:16]He said the dog said that the skin of the becomes with
[35:25]tanning.
[35:26]They all laughed at him and they said what kind of you
[35:30]know this is what we were telling you.
[35:32]You're too old to come and try to seek knowledge.
[35:35]You came and you flipped it around.
[35:37]He felt very embarrassed.
[35:38]He felt very shameful.
[35:38]And he walked outside the city.
[35:43]When he walked outside the city, he saw there was a spring
[35:48]of water and the water was pouring on a piece of rock.
[35:52]But he looked at the rock.
[35:56]He saw that the rock had an engravement in it.
[35:59]So he said to himself, "This rock, it changed because of the
[36:05]water." And this means that this is over time.
[36:10]Anything could happen.
[36:09]My heart is not as hard as rough as a rock.
[36:13]So definitely I could change as well.
[36:15]So if this rock was able to change but it just needed
[36:20]time.
[36:20]It doesn't happen overnight.
[36:21]It needed many years.
[36:22]It needed dedication.
[36:24]It needed persistence and even this rock will change form as a
[36:28]result of patience and time.
[36:29]So I could change as well.
[36:32]And he went back and he became what?
[36:35]One of the top scholars of his time.
[36:37]So this shows you that patience is key.
[36:41]Sometimes you have to be patient.
[36:42]Sometimes you can't have things overnight and this is one of the
[36:46]keys to the success of you have to be patient and sall
[36:53]was patient.
[36:53]Today some of us we say oh the prophet he became the
[36:57]prophet because God wanted him to become successful.
[36:58]Noasoolah he he was so patient he endured for 23 years.
[37:05]Then finally at the end that people entering that did not happen
[37:16]overnight.
[37:16]That took a lot of struggle, a lot of sacrifice.
[37:18]Number two, this is a very important part.
[37:29]You have to be able to forgive.
[37:30]You have to be able to let go of things that bog
[37:34]you down, things that hold you down.
[37:38]You have to have a positive perspective and do not allow anything
[37:42]to to destroy your morale.
[37:44]How many people tried to tell him, "Give up on this message.
[37:49]Stop.
[37:49]You don't need to.
[37:49]We're they tried to persuade him away from it." But he kept
[37:56]his morale strong and he never gave up until the last day.
[37:59]And this is a very important lesson that we should learn from
[38:05]Allah.
[38:04]My dear brothers and sisters in conclusion we we celebrate the life
[38:10]of the prophet and the mission of s which began on the
[38:18]and today the 27th of Raj we celebrate the of and tonight
[38:22]inshallah we have uh Azar Nasar who is going to be visiting
[38:28]us.
[38:28]He's going to be speaking tonight.
[38:29]We're having a celebration tonight.
[38:31]We ask everyone to come.
[38:32]I want to um also give a a short comment on the
[38:38]situation in Iran.
[38:40]What's going on, the protests that are going on in Iran?
[38:42]Some people have reached out to me and told me, why don't
[38:45]you speak out against the killing that is going on there?
[38:47]You speak out about everywhere else, but you have not spoken out
[38:52]about that.
[38:52]I say that if there is unjust killing going on anywhere in
[38:58]the world, then we condemn it.
[38:59]If there are people that are targeted just for protesting and they
[39:03]are not doing anything wrong, they're innocent bystanders, then yes, this is
[39:07]wrong.
[39:07]And we have to have the courage to condemn the unjust killing
[39:13]of any person, whoever that may be.
[39:17]However, having said that, we need to understand that the current situation
[39:21]that is going on in Iran is politically motivated and there are
[39:26]outside forces in particular Israel which they have admitted that they are
[39:32]being they are supporting the protesters and arming them and giving them
[39:36]and trying to topple the government there and try to cause um
[39:43]try to cause chaos in the country and the United States uh
[39:46]they are being they're they're being involved actively being involved and Trump
[39:50]he comes out and he tells people if there's going to be
[39:54]killing then we're going to get involved and then you see the
[39:56]next day there's going there's there's killing and there's chaos.
[39:59]So what does that mean?
[40:02]That means who's the beneficiary of of the killing that's going on?
[40:04]Does the government benefit from killing its own people?
[40:06]Of course not.
[40:09]And you see that unfortunately a lot of people have been killed.
[40:13]We don't really know exactly how much, but we need to understand
[40:19]that the s the that the the what's going on over there
[40:21]is not black and white.
[40:24]It's not as the media the mainstream media makes it out to
[40:28]be here.
[40:29]We know the mainstream media here has an agenda and they've had
[40:32]an agenda not only in Iran, all over the world.
[40:36]All that the US does is to seek chaos and division especially
[40:39]in the Middle East.
[40:41]especially in the Middle East because for its baby Israel, the US
[40:44]is willing to do whatever it takes and they don't want a
[40:49]strong country.
[40:48]They don't want a strong resistance and therefore their objective is not
[40:54]to bring democracy to the Iranian people.
[40:56]Just like that was not their objective in Syria.
[40:58]That was not their objective in Libya.
[41:00]That was not their objective in Iraq.
[41:03]Their objective is to have a puppet government.
[41:06]And right now the the one who is pushing himself to become
[41:09]the leader the the the son of the previous sha he's publicly
[41:15]coming out and saying the first thing I'm going to do is
[41:18]fix ties with Israel and I'm going to and he went to
[41:22]the whailing wall and this is this is the agenda that is
[41:27]going on there.
[41:25]So, we have to be um we have to be smart and
[41:31]not make quick decisions.
[41:31]But yes, at the same time, we understand that the Iranian people,
[41:37]some of them do have some valid concerns and there needs to
[41:39]be reform just like there needs to be reform everywhere.
[41:44]There needs to be reform.
[41:45]But unfortunately, the the people that are asking for reform, their words
[41:50]are being hijacked and their protests are being hijacked by people that
[41:54]are just causing chaos and killing.
[41:55]And you see that mosques were attacked, places of worship and government
[42:00]buildings were bombed and and and burned and attacked.
[42:04]So obviously, you could tell that there are some outside forces that
[42:08]are trying to disrupt the situation and disrupt what's going on there.
[42:12]And they're not doing it out of love.
[42:14]Since when did Trump care for people?
[42:16]Since when did the US US policy care for the emotions and
[42:21]the well-being of people?
[42:23]Iran has been living under sanctions.
[42:26]Since 1979.
[42:25]If people are suffering as a result of the economic collapse.
[42:31]Who's causing this economic collapse?
[42:32]Iran is a wealthy country just like Venezuela was a wealthy country.
[42:36]Venezuela is a oilrich country.
[42:38]But they're suffering.
[42:38]Why?
[42:39]because the US hijgemony and if you don't do the way we
[42:44]operate, if you don't follow our instructions, then we're going to destroy
[42:49]you until we bring in a a puppet that follows exactly what
[42:52]we say.
[42:53]This is how politics is.
[42:54]And we have to be much smarter than that.
[42:56]But while saying that, we need to not undermine the valid concerns
[43:02]of people.
[43:01]There are people that truly have valid concerns and they want reform.
[43:07]And reform is something that no no person says we don't want
[43:10]reform.
[43:11]There should be reform but at the same time we do not
[43:12]allow uh foreign and we don't we're not going to fall in
[43:18]the traps of those foreign governments that just seek to cause disruption
[43:21]in in the Middle East and all over the world.
[43:26]My dear brothers and sisters, we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to
[43:29]protect the Muslim land.
[43:32]We ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to protect the believers wherever where
[43:36]wherever they are and we pray for stability across the Muslim world.
[43:42]Right now we're living in very turbulent times.
[43:43]We need to do dua and the best thing that we can
[43:47]do is do dua.
[43:49]My dear brothers and sisters, um today a brother reached out to
[43:52]me.
[43:53]He said his cousin uh his cousin has uh passed away through
[43:57]a car accident in Iraq.
[43:58]So please we'll recite fat and a sister reached out to me
[44:01]asking for dua because of a diagnosis she is receiving.
[44:07]So we will recite fat for the andah ford.
[44:21]We also have in the back uh salam mat which is uh
[44:26]prayer mats and a portion of that will be uh donated a
[44:32]portion of the uh benefits of that will be donated to Mecca.
[44:35]May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala bless you all.
[44:49]foreign.
[45:26]Allahham.
