[0:00][Music] respected brothers and sisters assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi to his young companion

[0:43]i'm not going to stop until i reach the place where the

[0:53]two seas meet even if it's going to take me ages decades

[0:57]this is my mission i have to find what i am looking

[1:02]for illuminate your hearts and minds with a very loud all the

[1:17]prophets that allah subhanahu ta'ala sent are on the same path they

[1:21]advocated to the same core message hence all of them according to

[1:28]the quran were muslims who submitted to allah subhanahu wa ta'ala the

[1:33]request of prophet ibrahim alaihissalam to his family to his sons as

[1:38]he was passing away was what make sure that you die as

[1:47]muslims who accept the path of god all the prophets of allah

[1:52]carried the same message and therefore you find many similarities amongst the

[1:56]prophets of god if you examine their life their biography their challenges

[2:01]their teachings their lessons you will find many similarities between their lessons

[2:07]one of the great similarities between prophet muhammad and previous prophets is

[2:16]the number of successors you find in the history of prophets many

[2:20]of them had 12 successors the main prophets that allah sent to

[2:26]humanity they had 12 aussie 12 successors who represented them and our

[2:34]prophet sallallahu alaihi also has 12 successors and he famously stated in

[2:39]hadiths that all muslims have documented that after be after me there

[2:43]will be 12 caliphs 12 leaders 12 imams who come from quraysh

[2:50]who come from my tribe who come from my family one of

[2:55]the interesting similarities between prophet muhammad sallallahu alaihi and prophet musa alaihissalam

[3:02]is the successor that they both had the successor of our prophet

[3:07]is imam ali ibn abi alab and the successor of prophet musa

[3:12]alaihissalam who lived after him to represent him was not haroon many

[3:19]of us think haroon was the successor who lived after musa alaihissalam

[3:23]that was yusha eben noon joshua son of noon in our discussion

[3:30]tonight i would like to examine the similarities between imam ali ibn

[3:34]abi ta'ala salaam and yusha bin noon as we are still commemorating

[3:41]the legacy of amir al-mu'min on these days we all are familiar

[3:47]with imam but who is joshua who is yusha eben noon who

[3:50]has been mentioned in our narrations and the holy quran also makes

[3:57]a reference to yusha ibn noon not using his name but using

[4:00]the word fattah for him come to surah till verse 60.

[4:05]allah subhanahu wa states remember when musa said to his father fatah

[4:13]in arabic means young companion it could mean servant it could mean

[4:19]someone who has strong faith in iman that's why the quran calls

[4:24]the people of the cave fitiya and nahum fitiyatun anub him they

[4:28]were strong in their iman allah calls them fitiya even though they

[4:34]were middle-aged they were not youth but the holy quran calls them

[4:37]young in their iman in their strength musa alayhi islam basically what

[4:52]happened is after allah revealed the torah to prophet musa alaihissalam he

[4:57]went he gathered the bani israel he spoke those beautiful verses of

[5:02]the torah the old testament and the torah is very detailed with

[5:08]its law it's full of knowledge it's full of rulings so when

[5:12]musa recited those rulings to bani israel they were inspired in ah

[5:17]by the knowledge that he had for him to know all these

[5:22]rulings from allah subhanahu ta'ala it seems that at that moment when

[5:26]musa alayhi salaam was delivering the torah he felt knowledgeable he said

[5:31]to himself look at the knowledge that i have look at the

[5:35]knowledge that allah has given me to share with the people immediately

[5:40]allah sends go to musa right now and remind him to be

[5:44]humble prophets always needed allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to keep them in

[5:48]check to remind them to be humble descends yes you're knowledgeable but

[5:57]there is someone more knowledgeable than you there is someone out there

[6:00]who has secrets to the universe that you don't have and there's

[6:04]so much that you can learn from him he can teach you

[6:08]about the system of god you know about sharia allah but that

[6:12]other person he knows more about how allah runs the universe when

[6:16]musa hears this he becomes eager to go and find out who

[6:20]this person is i want to meet him i want to learn

[6:24]from him remember when musa said to his young companion who is

[6:30]this young companion that the quran is referring to you ibn noon

[6:36]the successor of musa he tells him let's go and find al

[6:43]abdul they were looking for al-qaeda because informed him that has more

[6:47]knowledge than you about the system of god musa it becomes his

[6:52]only goal in life at this point to find al abdul so

[6:56]he says let's go to majma al-bahrain to the place where the

[7:01]two seas meet now where is that place where the two seas

[7:04]meet according to most scholars who understand this verse and the tafsir

[7:08]of the verse and the geography of where musa was this is

[7:14]where the gulf of aqaba and the gulf of the suez they

[7:18]meet in egypt when thee where these two gulfs meet that's where

[7:24]majma al-bahrain is so he tells yusha abanoon come with me and

[7:28]take a salted fish with you take this fish with you so

[7:34]if we get hungry we can eat something on the way they

[7:37]go to this bahrain where the two seeds meet over there the

[7:43]wasting of prophet musa alaihi islam he takes the fish to wash

[7:48]it so he can prepare it as a meal the hadith states

[7:52]the water that he used to wash the fish had the life

[7:57]in it it's a type of water that gives you a type

[8:01]of immortality so that fish when it was touched by this water

[8:05]as the quran describes what happened it leaped back into the sea

[8:12]it gained life and it leaped back into the sea now musa

[8:16]and yusha were unaware that this is happening they're continuing through their

[8:23]journey they forgot about the fish and that the fish went back

[8:27]into the sea so musa tells him when they're traveling and they're

[8:30]getting tired where's the fish that you brought i'm hungry let's eat

[8:45]something yusha says we forgot the fish the fish is in a

[8:49]different place we're traveling they said no let's go back because there

[8:52]is a sign next to that fish i am supposed to meet

[8:57]al abdul the one who has more knowledge by the fish so

[9:00]they go back to where the fish leaped back into the sea

[9:04]and they see over there al saleh praying musa waits for him

[9:11]to finish his salah and then he speaks to him that was

[9:14]musa tells him can you teach me from your knowledge told me

[9:19]you have knowledge that i don't have tells him look i'll be

[9:24]honest with you from the beginning the message allah has given me

[9:30]the knowledge i ha allah has given me you can't handle and

[9:33]the knowledge that you have about sharia i can't handle you're an

[9:37]expert in law that's why it's called the law of moses you're

[9:41]an expert in law i'm not an expert in law like you

[9:47]are but i am an expert about the way the system of

[9:49]the universe runs i know about the world of the unseen i

[9:54]know the unseen factors that's not something that you can handle musa

[9:57]he tells them it's okay inshallah i'll be patient and you're familiar

[10:01]with the story that happened yusha ibn was with them that's when

[10:05]al-qaeda you know he breaks that ship musa's outrage why are you

[10:10]breaking the ship of these masakeem poor people and then he kills

[10:15]that boy musa can't take it anymore from a religious legislative perspective

[10:20]you cannot kill an innocent person told him i am looking at

[10:25]this from a different dimension this boy staying alive has no goodness

[10:29]in it he would deviate he would make his parents deviate allah

[10:34]out of his mercy decided to take his life take his amana

[10:37]back to him take him to his mercy while he's innocent allah

[10:41]has ways of taking people's lives sometimes allah will send the angel

[10:46]of death to you a person hasn't heard it a heart attack

[10:48]sometimes an accident sometimes a disease sometimes a natural disaster right sometimes

[10:55]allah would send to do these tasks on behalf of allah but

[11:00]musa initially couldn't handle that he couldn't handle this type of knowledge

[11:05]to deal with the system of allah subhanahu wa ta'ala so you

[11:10]find that the quran makes a reference to yusha ibn noon in

[11:14]surah successor of prophet musa alayhi salaam this is confirmed in our

[11:22]hadiths this is also confirmed by the bible today open the old

[11:26]testament the book of joshua chapter one it speaks about joshua yusha

[11:30]being the successor of moses who moses appointed over the israelites he

[11:38]is the assistant of musa alayhim also in the bible so you

[11:44]find that yusha abanoon was the most important figure after prophet muhammad

[11:48]harun did represent prophet musa but when he was alive for instance

[11:56]when prophet musa went to the mountain to receive the tablets the

[12:01]torah he went there for 40 days who was his successor who

[12:04]was his representative during these 40 days harun his brother but harun

[12:10]died before musa harun died while musa was still alive so harun

[12:14]was not the successor who would come after musa alayhi salaam the

[12:18]successor who would come after musa alaihi islam is yusha abnun joshua

[12:24]the son of noon and hence just as we have hadiths that

[12:27]state ya ali o ali the likeness between me and you is

[12:32]like the likeness of harun and musa anta mini would go away

[12:43]we also have hadiths where the prophet sallallahu alaihi states the prophet

[12:54]gives us two analogies here one haroon he is alive during the

[13:00]time of musa and one you shall even who lived after musa

[13:05]it seems the prophet was telling this ummah look even when i

[13:08]am alive ali represents me when i leave ali represents me ali

[13:12]is my representative ali is my successor ali is my khalifa so

[13:15]you find this amazing similarity between the imam alaihissalam and yusuf noon

[13:23]they are both the successors of rasulallah now to even add more

[13:30]to this interesting analogy you find that yusha ibn noon was appointed

[13:35]as the successor by musa on the 18th of the which is

[13:41]the exact day of the ghadir that imam ali ibn abi talib

[13:45]was also appointed that's why in his radir sermon the imam al-islam

[13:51]gives a beautiful sermon on he says this day is the day

[13:59]of joshua son of noon on this day he was appointed to

[14:03]be the successor he's also one of the sabbath you know was

[14:08]look at the tafsir of this verse in surah wasabi those who

[14:14]raised to iman those who raised to iman are three the first

[14:21]of them is yusha abinun he raised to believe in musa the

[14:28]second is he raised to believe in isa alaihissalam his min and

[14:35]the third one is ali he raised to believe in muhammad let's

[14:46]further expand on this amazing similarity between imam ali al-islam and yusuf

[14:51]noon why was yusha eben noon chosen to be the successor of

[14:59]prophet what main quality did he have one day salman was sitting

[15:02]with the prophet he told him ya rasulallah i do know that

[15:06]every prophet had a successor so who is your successor the prophet

[15:12]salallahu alaihi tells him oh salman my successor is like the successor

[15:20]of musa do you know the successor of musa surma was knowledgeable

[15:23]about the scriptures he said yes he is you shall ibn noon

[15:26]fatah musa he's the young companion of musa the prophet sallallahu alaihi

[15:33]tells him do you know why allah chose yusha ibn noon to

[15:36]be the successor of musa he says tell me why he says

[15:42]because in the umm of musa in the nation of musa the

[15:48]most knowledgeable one was yusha abinun he was the most knowledgeable of

[15:51]his companions allah designated him to be the successor and the most

[15:57]knowledgeable of my ummah who represents me is he is my successor

[16:03]who represents me this is one very important quality that determines who

[16:08]represents the prophet after rasulullah you want someone whom you can trust

[16:14]with their knowledge i don't understand the mentality of this ummah when

[16:19]they choose others before ali you know these others had less knowledge

[16:23]than alibaba how can you accept someone to be your leader when

[16:29]there's someone more knowledgeable someone who better represents the prophet and his

[16:36]knowledge and they would admit it he would constantly state may i

[16:45]never stay for a dilemma a problem a challenge that's cannot solve

[16:50]it for me i can't solve it on myself we find imam

[16:57]islam had the full knowledge after the prophet that's what makes him

[17:01]qualified if you want to represent rasulullah you better be able to

[17:05]carry the knowledge of rasulullah otherwise you do injustice to the prophet

[17:10]sallallahu alaihi if you're not fully aware of his message how can

[17:14]you represent him that's impossible that's an act of injustice and look

[17:18]at amir al-mu'mineen the symbol of knowledge after rasulullah just look at

[17:23]he overflows with knowledge just look at the sciences that amir and

[17:28]mining taught to humanity one day a man came it's an interesting

[17:32]incident that happened a man came and he told emil i made

[17:40]an oath in allah to weigh an elephant some people you know

[17:47]they're crazy with the oaths that they make what kind of an

[17:51]oath is that why do you take an oath in something you're

[17:54]not able to do he says well i made this oath i'm

[17:58]stuck i don't have any scale that weighs an elephant how am

[18:00]i going to know the weight of an elephant so the imam

[18:04]rebukes him he says don't make such oaths but the imam still

[18:09]wants to demonstrate his knowledge in the natural sciences in the laws

[18:12]of physics the imam says i'll show you don't don't make such

[18:16]an oath anymore but i'll show you how to weigh the elephant

[18:18]he told them how are you going to weigh the elephant he

[18:22]says very simple see how your imam even mastered physics what does

[18:27]the imam do he tells them bring me a ship now maybe

[18:30]the imam was in kufa and sometimes you know the euphrates river

[19:11]that okay what do we do next he says now put weights

[19:17]in the ship kilograms you have weights right put iron weights that

[19:23]you have until the ship goes to this water level you'll know

[19:26]exactly the weight of the elephant and subhanallah this is the law

[19:29]of archimedes in the displacement of water right if you want to

[19:35]know the weight of something in terms of you know how much

[19:41]volume it occupies in the water see how much water it displaces

[19:44]you can tell the exact weight of that object basically the imam

[19:49]was using a variation of this physical principle now you know where

[19:54]the water level is put weights in it until it reaches that

[19:56]water level you'll know exactly the weight of that elephant this is

[20:01]you want spirituality he has the top knowledge you want physics chemistry

[20:05]history biology he has all the sciences you're all familiar with the

[20:10]second story it also demonstrates the elm and the knowledge of islam

[20:15]once two women came to amir al-mu'min al-islam they're fighting over a

[20:20]baby one of them gave birth to a daughter one of them

[20:23]gave birth to a son both of them are claiming the son

[20:26]belongs to them the first lady she says he's my son i

[20:30]delivered him the second one says no he is my son i

[20:34]delivered him i didn't deliver the daughter look at that mentality unfortunately

[20:38]in that ignorant society they wanted the son not the daughter now

[20:42]one of them's lying and one of them's telling the truth how

[20:46]are you going to determine the baby belongs to who right back

[20:49]then people were not born in hospitals to have birth certificates there's

[20:53]no dna testing how are you going to determine it the imam

[20:57]says i'll determine this very briefly i want you from these both

[21:03]ladies to take the same amount of breast milk and then i

[21:07]want you to weigh it the same amount the one that's heavier

[21:11]she's the one who delivered to the boy for centuries people were

[21:15]puzzled what does this have to do with determining the gender of

[21:20]the boy until recently scientists at michigan state university they analyzed women

[21:27]all the way from africa to canada doing this study they realize

[21:30]on average women who give birth to boys they have more fat

[21:34]and protein in their milk because different genders need different nutritional needs

[21:40]in order to develop slightly different so for instance the fat content

[21:45]in the milk of a mother who gave birth to a son

[21:50]on average is 2.6 whereas the mother who would give birth to

[21:53]a daughter that's 0.6 now because you have more fat and protein

[21:58]it's heavier milk determined that a thousand four hundred years ago look

[22:03]at the knowledge of alibaba that's criteria you have to master the

[22:47]the most knowledgeable in the ummah of rasulullah that's one amazing similar

[22:53]similar similarity between them the second similarity between imam ali alayhi salaam

[22:58]and yusuf noon is that they face similar challenges after the prophet

[23:03]died when prophet musa died you know what yusha ibn had to

[23:11]deal with three rulers from the ummah of musa they assumed the

[23:14]throne and they took basically the khilafah they took the rule in

[23:19]bani israel yusha ibn noon had to confront three rulers until he

[23:26]became the ruler after them we see the same thing happening with

[23:29]amir al-mu'min ali where three rulers came after him usurped from him

[23:34]until finally the people begged him to be the caliph it gets

[23:38]more interesting the wife of musa alaihissalam whose name is safura or

[23:43]safira or sophia different variations have been mentioned the wife of musa

[23:48]alaihissalam after prophet musa passes away she mobilizes an army of 100

[23:57]000 people to fight yusha abanun of musa with two of the

[24:01]hypocrites from the ummah of musa subhan allah and look at this

[24:07]ummah what happened the wife of rasulullah with two of the hypocrites

[24:10]and zubair yes initially they may have had belief but when allah

[24:16]put them to the trial they showed their true colors they sided

[24:20]with aisha to fight ali at the battle of jamal the same

[24:26]thing happened with yusuf noon but allah gave yusha abanoon victory over

[24:31]the wife of musa they captured the wife of musa yusha abanoon

[24:36]came to her he told her you have disgraced musa by fighting

[24:41]his washi and successor but i will respect musa by respecting you

[24:46]i am not going to treat you as a prisoner of war

[24:50]i have freed you but it's a shame that you did this

[24:54]on the day of judgment when you meet musa what are you

[24:56]going to say to him that you fought his washi the wife

[24:59]of musa becomes very ashamed she's very ashamed she says i don't

[25:04]have the face to look at musa anymore on the day of

[25:07]judgement amir al-mu'min said the same thing to talhan zubair you know

[25:36]you protect your woman you protect their modesty they have to stay

[25:40]in the homes but you bring the wife of rasulullah outside of

[25:45]her house to fight with her is this the respect you have

[25:47]for your rasool when allah says doesn't allah tell them to you

[25:54]know keep to their homes and not get involved in these things

[25:56]in verse 33 of surat how come you apply this to your

[26:01]woman but not to the wife of rasulullah are you being fair

[26:04]with rasulullah and doesn't the quran tell you when you want to

[26:09]speak to the wise of the prophet put a barrier they're in

[26:12]their homes you speak to them behind a barrier you've brought her

[26:15]here like a man leading an army isn't this a shame and

[26:20]she did feel ashamed after german for fighting amir al-mu'mineen when she

[26:24]realized what she had done and what happened she did feel ashamed

[26:29]but just as yusha abinun showed kindness and forgiveness to the wife

[26:35]of musa alaihissalam amir also showed kindness and forgiveness to aisha she

[26:40]was held as a captive in the in gemma the imam al-islam

[26:46]freed her and he sent her back to medina you know how

[26:48]the imam sent her back to madinah the imam al-islam brought 40

[26:52]figures that looked like men wearing turbans he told them take her

[27:00]back to madina on the way to medina she kept attacking ali

[27:05]ibn abi seek revenge from ali he set me with 40 men

[27:14]not respecting my sanctity as a woman these 40 didn't say anything

[27:20]when they arrived medina and they safely took her to her house

[27:27]they removed the turbans and what they were wearing and the face

[27:29]covering it turned out to be 40 women that the imam al-islam

[27:34]assigned to take aisha back they told her no ali did not

[27:37]desanctify you we are woman who brought you here the only man

[27:42]here is your brother muhammad ibn abhi bhaktiv imam told muhammad take

[27:45]your sister be with them there as well this is amir al-mu'min

[27:47]this is the forgiveness of amir al-mu'min this is the sanctity that

[27:51]he has for the family of rasulullah but the same thing happened

[27:59]subhanallah with musa alaihissalam and the family of musa now there's one

[28:04]pressing question here who is this wife of musa is she the

[28:09]daughter of sha'ib sufera or safura or is this another wife that

[28:14]he married later scholars have a disagreement on who she is one

[28:18]group of scholars state yes she's the daughter of shy initially she

[28:24]was righteous but then the dunya played with her mind she wanted

[28:27]power she fought yusha abin nun that's the first group of scholars

[28:30]the second group of scholars they say no we don't believe that

[28:36]she's the daughter of shawib because the quran seems to praise the

[28:40]daughter of shuaib dahuma the quran speaks about her chastity how she

[28:49]saw the good qualities in musa she went to her father shaib

[28:54]and she told him why don't you you know ask him to

[28:58]help us for a few years let him you know be with

[29:02]us he seems to be trustworthy and he ended up marrying her

[29:04]so some scholars say we have evidence that this wife of musa

[29:10]is one that he married later it's not the daughter of by

[29:13]the way when you ask biblical scholars today did musa have another

[29:16]wife they're also split they're also confused they don't know some biblical

[29:22]scholars they believe that musa had only one wife her name is

[29:25]zipporah or zephora which is safura in our you know arabic language

[29:31]and then there are other biblical scholars they say no there's a

[29:36]passage in the bible that talks about musa marrying a cushite woman

[29:41]and so they believe this cushite woman is another woman that he

[29:45]married after zipporah so even this discussion exists amongst jewish scholars whether

[29:51]musa had one wife or he had two wives but the similarity

[29:53]between the two is very striking my dear brothers and sisters it

[30:00]gets even more interesting when you look at the similarity between imam

[30:03]ali alayhi salaam and you look at the similarity of yusuf noon

[30:06]yusha i've was the first twasi there were 11 after yusun do

[30:14]you know who the 12th successor is musa had 12 successors so

[30:19]now we know who the first one is joshua the son of

[30:22]noon who is the twelfth of them the twelfth successor of musa

[30:29]alaihissalam is dawud alaihis salam dawud came a few centuries after yusha

[30:35]he is the 12th successor and interestingly you'll find that dawood initially

[30:41]he was in kind of an occultation people did not know who

[30:48]dawood is they had heard of the promise of dawood they were

[30:51]told that dawud will come and he will give bani israel a

[30:56]powerful kingdom and he will save them from jaaloot they had heard

[30:59]this everyone knew dawood is born where is he we don't know

[31:03]he went into reba for a while dawud before he became a

[31:08]parent do you know when he became a parent nobody knew who

[31:11]dawud is no one knew him he was a shepherd no one

[31:14]cared about him even his father and his brothers didn't care about

[31:20]him you know what happens is now the king of bani israel

[31:26]ta'aloot is confronting jalut jaalut was a powerful warrior taloot did not

[31:32]have enough people to fight against jaloot jahlut was going to win

[31:36]allah reveals to talut there is one man who is able to

[31:43]kill jalut i'll give you the sign he will wear your armor

[31:49]and your armor will perfectly fit him the one who comes to

[31:52]you and his armor perfectly fits you he is the one who

[31:56]is going to be the new prophet and king of bani israel

[32:00]and he will kill jalut so taloot was waiting for that but

[32:03]no one came forth so they go to battle taloot is mobilizing

[32:06]the people it seems the father of dawood and the brothers of

[32:09]dawud they underestimate him they tell him you're just a shepherd you

[32:14]have a weak body you don't have any muscles you're not going

[32:16]to benefit anyone in the battlefield why do you want to come

[32:19]so dawud he's basically looking after his herd when he passes by

[32:26]stones allah subhanahu inspires the so this the stones to speak to

[32:31]him you know what the stone stone says to dawood the quran

[32:35]tells us that dawud used to speak to the birds for example

[32:37]for example the stone said to dawood oda would carry me allah

[32:44]has created me to kill jaloot take me fling me allah will

[32:50]give you victory dawu takes that stone he goes to talut in

[32:54]his tent he's the king he tells him i am the one

[32:59]who can kill jaloot they look at dawud small body skinny no

[33:04]muscles no armor nothing is this guy crazy is he out of

[33:09]his mind how are you going to kill jalut he has a

[33:10]massive army and his armor is so strong no one can kill

[33:16]him he says this is the revelation of allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

[33:20]talut remembers the revelation from allah he tells him come try my

[33:24]armor he puts the armor on dawood it fits perfectly on him

[33:29]he tells him yes you are indeed chosen let's go and see

[33:47]history repeats itself the prophet said everything that happened in previous nations

[33:56]believe in that we know that just like dawood was born and

[33:58]the people believed in that but he's in he's an occultation and

[34:04]he will come at the end of times to establish the just

[34:07]government of allah subhanahu wa ta'ala that's another amazing similarity between imam

[34:11]ali ibn abi talib and joshua the son of noon it's truly

[34:15]striking how the debate resemble the prophetic families in history it gets

[34:23]even more interesting there are many many areas of similarity but i

[34:28]will pretty much conclude by sharing this fascinating one my dear brothers

[34:33]and sisters do you know that according to the bible according to

[34:37]sunni hadith and according to shia hadith allah subhanahu wa ta'ala held

[34:43]up the sun for yusha abhinum even noon go today to the

[34:47]bible the book of joshua it tells you that joshua along with

[36:38]ta'ala made the sun go back up for him i'll present to

[36:43]you the evaluation of this hadith on whether this is intellectually possible

[36:47]or not but you know what the hadith state the general story

[36:50]is that the prophet salallahu then the prophet told him i need

[37:03]get done goes to obey rasulullah fulfilling the command of rasulullah so

[37:14]salat alas comes the prophet salallahu alaihi prays us imam ali is

[37:24]finishes the salah he tells me rasulallah i fulfilled what you asked

[37:27]for me to do now the imam wants to pray salat al-ass

[37:31]the prophet tells him ya ali i'm receiving revelation i want to

[37:35]put my head in your lap this hadith is narrated by tens

[37:41]of companions by um by asma by many others ya ali i

[37:45]need to rest right now so the prophet sallallahu alaihi puts his

[37:49]head in the lap of amir al-mu'min he's receiving revelation the prophet

[37:53]is basically looks like he's sleeping imam ali now wants to pray

[38:00]salat alas the prophet keeps receiving revelation the imam was instructed he

[38:05]knew he was instructed by allah when rasulullah is receiving revelation you

[38:10]can't disturb the prophet you need to respect the sanctity of rasulullah

[38:14]so imam ali is the prophet you know resting on him in

[38:22]his lap but the time for asur is about to expire the

[38:24]imam salam doesn't know what to do but he says no the

[38:27]command of allah is more important i can't disturb his prophet when

[38:30]he is receiving revelation this is my command this is more important

[38:33]so so the imam al-islam he prays while sinning but he doesn't

[38:38]do the full prayer the prophet sallallahu alaihi finishes receiving revelation he

[38:43]wakes up he looks he sees the imam in an uneasy state

[38:49]he tells him ya ali what's the matter he says ya rasulullah

[38:52]i don't pray the sun is setting or according to some variations

[38:57]of the hadith the sun set we can't see the sun anymore

[39:00]at that point rasulullah raises his hand in dua he says ya

[39:09]allah ali was in my obedience and in your obedience and because

[39:12]of that he couldn't praise salah i ask you to bring the

[39:16]sun back for him so he prays salat asma says we all

[39:20]saw the sun the disk of the sun rise in the atmosphere

[39:25]amir al-mu'min al-islam prayed sun went back it became night again i

[39:33]know some of you may have mixed feelings about such narrations right

[39:37]is this something the shia may be invented in their history my

[39:42]dear brothers and sisters there are more than ten sunni scholars they've

[39:46]written entire books and booklets and chapters on the hadith of the

[39:51]shems one of them is a fifth century in the hijri calendar

[39:58]a fifth century scholar he's written an entire book called hadith the

[40:07]very well-known prominent sunni scholar who evaluates other scholars he says al-hasakani

[40:14]is a master in the science of hadith when he says something

[40:19]is we trust him avabi says that about him yes ebentamia doesn't

[41:08]now you may be wondering how is that possible if the earth

[41:13]stops rotating or goes back in rotation you'll have serious consequences on

[41:19]the planet my dear brothers and sisters allah is the one who

[41:22]created the solar system allah knows the law of the solar system

[41:25]don't you all believe that during the prophet sallallahu alaihi was you

[41:33]know basically embargoed by the quraysh don't you all believe that allah

[41:38]sput the moon muslims today believe that this was one of the

[41:45]miracles of rasulallah and this indeed was also one of the miracles

[41:53]of rasulullah in honor of in order for him to pray that

[42:05]happened for amir al-mu'min al-islam that's another amazing similarity there are many

[43:38]you when you pass away the prophet tells him every prophet must

[43:42]be washed by his washi he tells him who's your washi the

[43:46]prophet tells him he tells them how long is ali going to

[43:50]live after you he says the same number of years that yusha

[43:56]ibn noon lived after musa and that's 30 years and exactly lived

[43:59]30 years after rasulallah and finally the night that yusha ibn noon

[44:10]was struck was the 19th of ramadan and the day that yusha

[44:15]ibn noon passed away as a shaheed is the 21st of of

[44:19]of ramadan that's why amir al-mu'min alayhi salam would say the day

[44:23]i am struck as the day you shall noon was struck and

[44:25]the day that i will die as a shaheed is the day

[44:29]that he died that's why when amir al-mu'min was buried imam al-hassan

[44:32]gave a speech he says ha tha this is the day that

[44:40]yusha ibn noon was killed appreciate the imams of bait they carry

[44:45]the legacy of all those previous prophets when you do the zyada

[44:51]of the imams have you noticed that there is a theme that

[44:54]has to do with that that has to do with inheritance remind

[45:06]you that all those 124 thousand prophets and all their stories and

[45:12]their patience and their knowledge and their humbleness and their greatness it

[45:16]is encapsulated in it is encapsulated in hussain you want to see

[45:23]124 000 prophets look at the face of abba abdullah look at

[45:25]the face of ali ibn abi alab their knowledge summarizes all that

[45:59]after they finished burying their father amir al-mu'min they're going back home

[46:05]on their way home they hear a man sitting on the street

[46:09]crying his crying does not stop they go to him because they

[46:14]cared if i see someone crying on the street maybe i don't

[46:16]care but the adhd they genuinely care they stopped by this elderly

[46:22]man they tell him yeah oh servant of allah why are you

[46:27]crying what's the matter with you did someone harass you did someone

[46:31]bother you he tells them no but i am half paralyzed i

[46:36]am blind i have trouble with my vision i can't feed myself

[46:41]for such a long time there was a man who would come

[46:46]and feed me with his hands and he would change my clothes

[46:54]it's been three days that he's not visiting me i miss him

[46:57]i don't know him i don't know what happened to him imam

[47:00]al-hasan asked him oh man did you know his name who was

[47:05]he he says i don't know who he was he would never

[47:09]reveal his identity to me he wanted his act to be purely

[47:15]for allah imam and hassan and hussain they look at each other

[47:18]they break into tears they tell him allah our condolences to you

[47:27]we know who this man was this man was our father he

[47:35]would be the one to come every day and tend to your

[47:39]needs and feed you and take care of you and the reason

[47:44]why he did not come the last three days because three days

[47:50]ago he was struck by eben muljam oh man just now we

[47:55]returned from his burial we just buried ali when that man heard

[48:02]this he started screaming he started yelling this was ali this was

[48:07]the khalifa every night he would come to me he screamed and

[48:13]he fell unconscious to the ground allahu akbar look at that look

[48:19]at the fate of amir al-mu'min even when you examine his death

[48:25]he died a perfect death he was struck in the month of

[48:28]ramadan the best month out of the year he was struck only

[48:33]the best nights in the month of ramadan he was struck in

[48:38]the house of allah the best of all places to be in

[48:43]and he was struck in salah the best act to be in

[48:45]and he was struck in the best act of salah which is

[48:51]the show me in history a death that is more honorable and

[48:54]more perfect than the death of amir inalia [Music] [Music] foreign [Music]
