[0:21]what vamos anciano well Anna - Dima - Allah are damaged Mahima
[0:26]and an Allah p.m.
[0:29]you mean Robert is Audrey Vasily Embry millas on e fo holy
[0:33]our allahu ta'ala Fattah Karimi hawk once upon of the other states
[0:41]in the Charter for contractor 25 verse 77 he says all my
[0:44]abou become rugby Lola Dora come say that allah subhanaw taala wouldn't
[0:47]even look at you if it wasn't for your da but that
[0:52]Kadapa tomb for Sophia Connelly Zama and you have been disbelieving and
[0:56]you will be held responsible on the day of judgment so local
[1:01]are on even Arlene assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh today our goal is to
[1:11]discuss an important topic and that topic is important to our everyday
[1:16]lives to our everyday living understanding how to connect with a loss
[1:21]of Hanna tada on a whole other level is our goal first
[1:27]and foremost it's exactly like when we are practising for example on
[1:31]a team to become better if I'm playing basketball or if I'm
[1:35]playing tennis or I'm playing soccer my goal is always to be
[1:38]the best at what I do whether it's in school or at
[1:45]work that drive for perfection is important not only in my practical
[1:50]everyday life it's also important to me in my spiritual life we
[1:54]recognize that the better we get at something the more valuable we
[2:01]become so if I am better at work for example then I
[2:03]become more valuable to my company right if I'm better at school
[2:06]then I become more valuable to my school if I become a
[2:12]better son that I'm more valuable to my parents and so we
[2:15]understand then that there are different ways of gaining value however the
[2:25]most important thing for us is to establish ourselves and our status
[2:29]in everything that we do so that we through seeking perfection if
[2:35]I am able to do that and I'm able to do that
[2:37]well then surely I'll be able to get to the level that
[2:45]I want in that specific subject or topic or practice right so
[2:53]in order to understand how to connect with a lot a whole
[2:56]different level what I wanted to do today is first look at
[2:59]the logical necessity of connecting with number one number two understand how
[3:04]we connect with others from a societal level and number three looking
[3:10]deep into the Holy Quran or into Islam I should say in
[3:13]specifically focusing on the door behind us Samadhi in order to understand
[3:16]in these nights how our Imams would actually connect with a loss
[3:21]of Hannah Montana so first from a logical standpoint we know that
[3:26]allah subhanaw taala is the unlimited all perfect and we know that
[3:29]it has to be biological necessity that we would want to connect
[3:32]with him first and foremost even before we connect with any of
[3:37]his create its creations we know that we have to go back
[3:40]to understanding his value to us and therefore from there try to
[3:45]connect to him through either emulating him through dedicating our self completely
[3:49]all of its faculties and all of our time to pleasing him
[3:54]and then finally following his laws and his rules we know that
[3:58]by emulating him meaning to see how he treats others that truly
[4:03]that will increase our value to him and by doing so we
[4:06]will definitely have increased our ability to connect with him and his
[4:11]wanted to connect with us and we also know that by dedicating
[4:14]ourselves our faculties and everything about us to allah subhanaw taala that
[4:19]truly that would make us not just valuable to his creations but
[4:26]also valuable to him because we value his creations we also know
[4:29]that by following his was then that is a true sign of
[4:32]obedience because just as I would follow the instructions of my parents
[4:39]who tell me what they expect of me and that makes them
[4:40]happy if I do while for example another sibling who doesn't it
[4:47]makes them sad or mad or angry that they don't and the
[4:50]proximity count becomes much closer if I am obedient to them while
[4:55]if I'm not that the proximity becomes much farther correct so based
[4:58]on that then I know logically speaking that the best way to
[5:02]be able to connect to a Lazcano Dada is to increase my
[5:06]value to him and by increasing my value to him then I
[5:11]am able to truly connect with him at a whole nother level
[5:13]and that he would want to communicate with me as much as
[5:17]I communicate with him to connect with me as much as I
[5:19]connect with them to please me as much as I please him
[5:23]it's just the logical necessity now this brings us to and trying
[5:26]to understand how it is that from a societal standpoint that we
[5:37]are also able to connect with or reach higher levels let's say
[5:42]within our societal rules right within our community we know for example
[5:47]that those who are held at high regard within their community are
[5:50]those who serve their communities most for example we give high status
[5:55]to those either because of their social status and society we can
[6:00]say we can split people out say into three groups right that
[6:07]one those who are socially at high status and that could be
[6:11]either because of the fact that they have a high lineage for
[6:16]example what would be considered a really good lineage they come from
[6:20]good blood so to speak or that they serve the community really
[6:26]well and it is as a result of their service that people
[6:31]value them right and and it's because they've connected with people at
[6:36]a different level a level that is different than the person who's
[6:38]sitting at home doing absolutely nothing right and we see this every
[6:42]day we see for example people of let's say high wealth as
[6:49]as an example who tend to be from let's say a high
[6:51]strong lineage of giving and philanthropy there are held in high regard
[6:57]we also find that people who have a strong sense of community
[7:04]those who understand how to serve the downtrodden serve the poor take
[7:09]care of the sake those people are held in high regard such
[7:12]as for example mother Teresa right who to this day is held
[7:19]as to very high regard right in our communities we have people
[7:22]that serve the community and have provided services that bring not only
[7:28]value to them but value to the people that are associated with
[7:34]them for example in the local Dearborne community we have had energy
[7:38]Ozzy who runs as a man international right and she gives the
[7:42]opportunity for the community members to be able to help other community
[7:46]members and this giving that opportunity is something that not only holds
[7:52]her in high regard in everybody's eyes but also holds everybody that
[7:57]is involved with her this year she was recognized for example by
[8:00]CNN as one of their heroes so it just goes to show
[8:04]you that if you are able to serve through servitude you can
[8:08]actually gain status in society for the good work that you do
[8:11]for your sincerity we also know that number two knowledge is a
[8:17]way for us to establish value in society so if someone is
[8:23]a scholar in a specific field of study such as let's say
[8:26]in medicine or let's say in engineering they are more able to
[8:29]give and they're better valued within within society so then their knowledge
[8:34]gives them value so one servitude gives value right to people and
[8:41]to their knowledge gives value as well and we also of course
[8:44]mentioned lineage the lineage might not always save a person if he
[8:47]doesn't do hard work right and number three we know that if
[8:52]one has spirituality that they're usually held in high regard we find
[8:56]in every single in society but that is the case for example
[8:59]you find Jesus is held in high regard Prophet Muhammad sallallahu wasallam
[9:05]is held in high regard you find people such as the Dalai
[9:11]or Buddha and Confucius and you know if you go around the
[9:14]world you'll see that there are different people who represent spiritual traditions
[9:19]and faith traditions and religions such as Moses for example Iassogna and
[9:24]as well as others who might not be connected to a specific
[9:28]denomination but they're held to a high regard because of the fact
[9:33]that they have a greater spiritual connection with the creator himself this
[9:39]of course then brings us to the issue of the Islamic perspective
[9:44]because here we enter the realm of spirituality and so proximity to
[9:49]allah subhanaw taala is something that we want to understand we understand
[9:52]that we can get to Allah first and foremost by emulating his
[9:57]his ethics right his ethical system by dedicating all of our faculties
[10:02]to hate to he into he alone and number three by following
[10:05]his Islamic laws now what we understand then is that the truth
[10:13]value in reality the true value of a human being at the
[10:15]end of the road out of these three that we mentioned before
[10:20]which was this the lineage meaning your social value your your knowledge
[10:26]that gives you value in your spirituality then in reality when we
[10:29]pass away the only thing that we really take with us that
[10:35]is our value is not our social status right it's not our
[10:38][Music] let's say the second thing which was our knowledge right in
[10:46]science for example and such contributions what we really do take with
[10:51]us though is our spirituality meaning our closeness and our proximity to
[10:54]allah subhanaw taala the closer I am to Allah right the higher
[10:58]my status I am to him now that doesn't mean that my
[11:00]spirituality cannot be connected with my social service right or that my
[11:03]spirituality is not necessarily connected with my knowledge but at the end
[11:07]of the road me connecting with Allah first and foremost is what
[11:11]creates that strong relationship of servitude that connects my social service door
[11:14]lock that connects my knowledge to a life that's spirituality so we
[11:17]find for example in the verse that we started out with that
[11:22]the loss of hunger Tala says look if you don't remember me
[11:25]and Don I really could care less about you he says quit
[11:30]my Abba become gonna be loaded welcome say that allah subhanaw taala
[11:34]wouldn't care for you if it wasn't for your da we find
[11:38]in another verse allah subhanaw taala says Arabic o my dear ammonius
[11:41]did you become allah subhanaw taala says call upon me and I
[11:44]will answer you in el además the community said una Janine surely
[11:49]those that are too prideful or too proud to worship me they
[11:55]will at the end of the road enter a Hellfire which means
[11:58]that there is a connection a direct connection to my door now
[12:04]right my calling upon alumni humbling myself right first and foremost and
[12:08]connecting with allah subhanaw taala once I connect with Allah Almighty then
[12:12]what ends up happening is I'm able to be humble right i
[12:18]humble myself once I humble myself I realized my status in this
[12:21]world I realized that I need a lost minor to Ana and
[12:25]so I talked to him I communicate with now how should I
[12:30]communicate with him and how do I know for example if my
[12:35]dog will be accepted or not and this is where the bait
[12:37]coming for us this is where any bait allow us to understand
[12:41]how it is that allah subhanaw taala wants us to talk to
[12:46]him and and allah subhanaw taala provides us these representatives in prophets
[12:53]and Imams so that they teach us what it is that Allah
[12:57]wants of us right I mean our Islamic laws our Holy Quran
[13:01]and all of it is explained through their hadeeth through what they
[13:04]teach us allah subhanaw taala we mentioned before southern holy quran in
[13:08]the chapter of Annisa chapter 4 verse 59 they are suitable you
[13:14]may Allah obey the messenger and those of the command and we
[13:17]explained how those of the command are the Imams in the hadith
[13:23]of Abu Basir and when he asked from Omaha near Salem about
[13:27]three and who bully are that allah subhanaw taala equated obedience to
[13:33]them as obedience to the messenger and obedience to allah right and
[13:37]he mentions every single a man by name from imam ali all
[13:41]the way to pooja salam ala ali now the question is why
[13:46]does the Quran then focus on spiritual value through Doha and there
[13:49]are several reasons for this first because it's through Doha that you
[13:52]really humble yourself and look deep within yourself number two that's its
[13:56]it's a way of discovering your own self deficiencies the errors and
[14:02]the sins that you have committed and this is through drive that
[14:05]you can seek to mend your ways right so it becomes almost
[14:07]like a medicine and number four it gives you insights into how
[14:14]to become better and so once I understand this first and foremost
[14:18]I need to understand then the actual format of dawn so first
[14:22]I know the necessity of dawn comes from humbling myself I know
[14:26]that when I humbled myself in front of anybody what am I
[14:28]going to do I'm going to ask questions right I'm going to
[14:32]seek advice and so when I humble myself before allah subhanaw taala
[14:35]then obviously what I'm going to do is first and foremost seek
[14:37]advice from him because he's the unlimited I mean if I'm willing
[14:44]to advice from someone who is limited then why not and by
[14:47]priority in actual fact by logical necessity I should speak to Allah
[14:51]first and foremost okay now if I am able to do that
[14:56]then I'm going to right away say well you know what I
[14:59]know that logically speaking I lost one hammer time that will answer
[15:03]me as long as i purify my heart and I have sincerity
[15:04]right to him into he alone and if my actions become a
[15:09]reflection of that then Allah knows my sincerity he knows what was
[15:13]within my heart is unlimited he knows all things right and and
[15:16]so he knows if I am seeking that perfection I'm wired to
[15:21]seek perfection by the way all of us are right that's why
[15:23]we want to always be you know better at everything that we
[15:28]do that's why it's never enough for us to just be mediocre
[15:30]right that's why if we do live in mediocrity we feel a
[15:37]sense of inadequacy right it's just innate and so based on that
[15:39]then I need to say okay well a lot so kind of
[15:43]Tyana says I have to make do without drama then he's not
[15:46]going to care about me because my daughter sure shows that I
[15:49]care about a was opinion but I care about what Allah wants
[15:51]from me that is seek advice from him and from and from
[15:56]him alone right and and also that I I need to understand
[16:03]then that once I humble myself I'm going to ask allah subhanaw
[16:06]taala for advice and for help to help me mend my ways
[16:11]because connecting myself to the unlimited is a way for me to
[16:15]achieve unlimited success connecting myself to limited people is unfortunately a way
[16:19]for me to limit my success and so the only people are
[16:24]going to ask are those who are connected to allah right to
[16:27]increase my spiritual value right to increase my spirituality I need to
[16:31]find out how the most connected people to Allah spoke to him
[16:35]right and that's of course I can use I can get that
[16:40]either by talking to the scholars who would be students of the
[16:43]students of the students of any debate who are the representatives of
[16:47]Allah and they teach me these drama as they tell me what
[16:50]I should ask for and how I should ask for it now
[16:53]you might say well why do I need someone to tell me
[16:54]what to ask I already know what I need to ask for
[16:59]no not always I don't always know what is best for me
[17:01]if I haven't connected with allah subhanaw taala that i might ask
[17:04]for frivolous things that I don't need and in such a situation
[17:07]then allah subhanaw taala probably won't give me what I asked for
[17:09]right and I might sit there wondering why it is that allah
[17:13]subhanaw taala is not responded to me when in actual fact Allah
[17:16]subhana Allah is protecting me from my own self right and so
[17:22]if it's not something that Allah wants for me then it's not
[17:25]something that I should be really asking for right unless it's something
[17:30]that is going to bring me closer to Allah so based on
[17:33]that then I have to humble myself I have to understand that
[17:35]I need to ask a lot first and foremost and I know
[17:39]that he will answer biological necessity and that's why Allah subhana Allah
[17:42]says in that verse footed erroneously Blackcomb right a lot reflects that
[17:46]that logical necessity that if I ask him with sincerity and purity
[17:49]of heart that surely he will respond to me and once I
[17:51]understand that then I move on to say okay well what do
[17:56]I need to do now I need to understand the formula to
[18:02]the job so I need to look at how an invade spoke
[18:03]to Allah soprano table because there's got to be a forming I
[18:07]know there's a formula when I want to get something from My
[18:10]Father right who do I go to right I go to my
[18:11]mother right I ask her so I know that there's a certain
[18:17]packaging right but that that makes a request more likely to be
[18:22]answered right and so um I look at the etiquettes of my
[18:27]imams how they ask allah subhanaw taala we find that allah subhanaw
[18:31]taala gave us these representatives so that they teach us the the
[18:36]nuances of how to ask him one of the things we find
[18:42]for example is that we always start with the name of allah
[18:45]right number one number two we have to ask by the name
[18:50]of that little bit because of their proximity to a loss of
[18:52]high note honor because they are the representatives of allah i asked
[18:55]by their name by the name of muhammad sallallaahu first so first
[18:59]i asked by the name of allah all right and then I
[19:01]asked why the name of of Prophet Muhammad and his holy progeny
[19:06]in his holy household right the infallible and then what do I
[19:12]do then just like I would you know if I wanted to
[19:14]my mom to talk to my dad you know or I wanted
[19:17]to talk to my dad directly what would I do I would
[19:19]you know tell him how much I appreciated him how much he's
[19:24]done for me how important he is to my life if it
[19:25]wasn't for him I wouldn't be where I am today all of
[19:29]this stuff buttering up my father right is something that's essential so
[19:33]that he understands that I value him right now some might say
[19:38]well isn't that a little underhanded no not at all I know
[19:40]for example my children when they come up to me and they
[19:43]want to ask me for something you know when they tell me
[19:44]you know that I appreciate that you did this for me and
[19:47]you did that for me they don't need to say it right
[19:50]they don't need to say it I know it right just like
[19:52]I don't need to say to Allah so to speak and he
[19:55]knows it but in reality I do need to say and the
[19:59]reason why I need to say is because it's a show of
[20:00]my understanding of his value to me right and his value to
[20:06]my growth his value to my very being once I once I
[20:09]show him that with sincerity my goal of course is what is
[20:14]to ask with purity of heart and sincere intention so what I
[20:19]do mention these things I don't mention it you know and to
[20:21]butter the person up I mention it because I truly mean it
[20:25]and a lot of kind of Tyana senses that he knows that
[20:27]in me right in the Lion Omaha anything I don't want to
[20:32]feel so do it Allah knows what is within the hearts so
[20:34]I ask then first and foremost by the name of Allah then
[20:41]by biathlete break and then I I mentioned to Allah how much
[20:48]I value him right I say that he is the creator of
[20:50]the heavens and earth I say that if it wasn't for him
[20:54]you know I wouldn't be able to know him or to know
[20:58]his his majesty and his Granger and his capabilities and if it
[21:01]wasn't for his creations that I wouldn't have the opportunity to be
[21:04]able to serve and to thank him and to show him that
[21:08]I appreciate the worth that he's given to all of creation and
[21:11]and just and to appreciate his patience and installers and his knowledge
[21:15]and the complexity of this universe and understanding the complexity of a
[21:19]loss of Hana Hana the fact that he is unlimited and surely
[21:22]that that is something that I can't even fathom with my limited
[21:26]mind right no matter how much I try to understand no matter
[21:29]how deep I hide I've into the realms of science and into
[21:34]the realms of of mysticism but there's no way that I could
[21:36]ever understand the physical worlds let alone the metaphysical world and that
[21:41]is how superb allah subhanaw taala is in his creation his abilities
[21:45]right so once I express that to a loss of hundreds a
[21:51]day then I package it again with the next thing that I
[21:57]do then is I ask for what I want right once I
[22:01]ask for what I want then again I tell Allah how much
[22:06]I'm appreciative of him that he's listening to me just like if
[22:08]I approach my boss for example and I thanked him at the
[22:12]end of the meeting you know for listening to me and taking
[22:13]the time I would do the same thing for it to a
[22:16]loss of hondana and finally I package it with the name of
[22:19]debate and I asked by the name of Sega thought they'd no
[22:23]idea I asked why they default event and her father mohammed salameh
[22:28]idea why they were salem and her husband and her two children
[22:30]and the rest of and admit that a loss of honour Tirana
[22:34]gives me what I asked for and allah subhanaw taala says put
[22:39]Eternia such a glow from say ask me and i will answer
[22:40]this is the month of answering this is the month of asking
[22:47]as well so we mentioned then now that we understand the format
[22:51]of John and we understand the importance of humbling ourselves and talking
[22:56]to Allah now we need to understand that has really several effects
[23:03]on me that that we mentioned before however what I want to
[23:07]focus on is three things specifically and what we're going to do
[23:10]is we're going to look at a profound awe that many of
[23:13]us really only touch during the month of Ramadhan although we should
[23:17]be reciting the story regularly and throughout the year even if it's
[23:21]portions of it this dora is drawn becomes of some money I'm
[23:26]only going to take excerpts from it it's these excerpts that are
[23:29]going to help me understand where I am in my life where
[23:35]I need to be and how to get there so first thing
[23:38]we want to look at is that I need to seek to
[23:40]fix my errors in my daily life right whether it's at work
[23:46]or in school asking for and one thing for worldly things in
[23:50]terms of our productivity in terms of our academic success we have
[23:56]to analyze assassin resolve right whatever situation that we're in when we're
[24:02]in our everyday lives and and the doha allows us to do
[24:05]that for our soul right and why don't we do the same
[24:09]for our souls why don't we just like at work when we
[24:12]analyze our our productivity and our efficiency and then find the solution
[24:17]for it right and then implemented why is it that we can
[24:21]do that for our academics and we can do that for for
[24:23]our work and not do that for our spirituality for our connection
[24:27]with alum surely we can do that right so what I have
[24:31]to do in order to do that as I have to stop
[24:35]to determine what the source of the problem is right I need
[24:39]to understand that throughout the year usually I go through a spiritual
[24:44]drought and I need to address this drought and what the reasons
[24:47]are for becomes a tamale that was an imam zain al-abideen Salama
[24:50]Lila is such a a saccade and would recite in the nights
[24:58]during a sow meaning that before fijian it helps us recognize that
[25:04]for example the Imam says in the drama he muhammad allahumma inni
[25:12]kuntu ma boo to cut her yet - without without but to
[25:17]welcome to the salat even a day Kevin RJ took a beta
[25:24]alanine Morrison either an oscillating solution Minaj I was selective on our
[25:28]Jataka either Ana now Jade so here the imam salam ala ali
[25:32]is telling me look the problem that we're having in reality the
[25:36]reason why allah is not responding to us or the reason why
[25:39]we have a spiritual drought is because we have laziness the Imam
[25:43]says o Allah it is every time that I think that I
[25:50]have prepared myself and to get up and pray to be in
[25:53]a meeting with you chinnu have the ability to plead through Doha
[26:01]to you I feel a sense of sleepiness of laziness if I
[26:05]pray and by doing so what happens that that sense of will
[26:11]not judge of connecting with you and talking to you on a
[26:14]personal level is something that I end up losing out on if
[26:20]I call out to you so why then does this happen to
[26:24]me now there are two reasons that this happens to me one
[26:27]reason could be that I don't do enough to but I don't
[26:29]talk to a lot enough that I don't want to turn myself
[26:31]in off right but it also could be that if you say
[26:35]to me well chef no but I do do not regularly but
[26:40]I don't sense that pleasure in speaking to Allah I don't sense
[26:44]the connection in my heart to a loss of my note on
[26:48]it could be the door or that I bother that worship has
[26:50]become ritual ritual to me look I'm just to routine I'm not
[26:55]focusing on the meanings we know that in order for a door
[26:58]to be accepted that we have to not just say it with
[27:02]our tongues we have to feel it with our hearts you have
[27:05]to say it with sincerity and understand the meanings is that this
[27:07]is why I tell a lot of the brothers and sisters out
[27:09]there that when you are listening to a door or you are
[27:14]praying it's important yes to memorize all of the words in Arabic
[27:17]but it's also even more important to understand what we're saying because
[27:22]once we understand the words we can connect right to the words
[27:26]and if we connect to the words then we'll understand the value
[27:29]of the words of the Imam the same applies of course my
[27:32]priority to the Holy Quran that's why allah subhanaw taala says FLA
[27:37]i said the aluminum foil do they not take the time to
[27:39]understand the holy quran or are there locks on their hearts prophet
[27:42]muhammad is narrated to have said I love I love you can
[27:46]I Sofia - the poor there is no billion reading without understanding
[27:49]what you read so one reason then this could be that I
[27:55]you know I don't understand what I'm reading or it's become a
[27:59]spirit the spiritual drop is because of a laziness that I feel
[28:03]in worship the second reason could be in the irregularity of my
[28:06]worship meaning the inconsistency every time I worship Allah I might fall
[28:10]off the bandwagon because of something worldly right why does this happen
[28:16]to me it happens because of because of something that is touched
[28:20]upon really beautifully into I becomes a family where the Imam teaches
[28:25]me to say Miley couldn't am I going too slow hot saryati
[28:29]why is it every time I say that I fixed myself inside
[28:34]what kerubim in modulus Etowah been immensely see and I've started to
[28:39]spend my time with those who are repenters those who are close
[28:46]to you oh Allah how Allah clearly in meaning a sin that
[28:49]I end up falling into sin as a latke to me that
[28:54]made me fall off the straight path a harlot bany were being
[29:00]a fanatic Saed and it has caused me has become a barrier
[29:03]between me and you own master so then committing a sin causes
[29:10]me to have a spiritual drum the Imam Salama Lila he gives
[29:14]me three reasons why this could happen he says it could be
[29:19]that you know your your duplicitous right you're living a new life
[29:22]you're that bismillah alhamdulillah in front of your friends but when you're
[29:28]with Allah you forget in your heedless all right so Prophet Muhammad
[29:33]SAW Allah they will you send him he says bits of Roger
[29:39]the worst of men Roger Anya kun with our chain a man
[29:41]with two faces well that is our name and with two tongues
[29:46]you Priya cabochon Eden he speaks well of his brother when he's
[29:49]in front of him way I could - and he back fights
[29:52]him when he is not there so being to face being a
[29:59]hypocrite right back biting people is is one of the reasons why
[30:02]I might be missing out on my connection with allah subhanaw taala
[30:10]any mohammed Sajjad says he continues in the jaw but becomes a
[30:14]family he says I will I look at any female caddy be
[30:18]or could it be that you found me of those who lie
[30:20]and therefore you've rejected me so here we find being dis duplicitous
[30:28]falling into sin not being sincere with allah subhanaw taala by being
[30:38]a hypocrite or just being a liar it could we need to
[30:45]also understand the value of group worship like for example if I
[30:48]don't have Drive let's say in this case I'm established I don't
[30:54]have drive to worship right and I don't have drive to worship
[30:56]and so how can I get myself to have drive to worship
[31:02]exactly like when I'm training for example for a meet or a
[31:04]basketball game I'm going to practice right and the best way to
[31:07]practice is within a team structures so maybe I'm not I'm not
[31:12]with the right company right maybe I'm not with the right people
[31:17]so the Imam said a Malayalee he teaches me in this door
[31:22]oh I like a forgotten name in modulus or luma if a
[31:26]holistic this is another reason is perhaps I wasn't with the right
[31:30]groups I didn't spend my time with the right people I'm perhaps
[31:33]I you found me missing from the gatherings of the scholars remember
[31:41]the scholars they bring us closer to Allah so he says perhaps
[31:46]perhaps you saw me missing from the from the modulus from the
[31:50]gatherings of aluminum ah the hadith innings and therefore just like I
[31:58]didn't give you what you expected of me you at the end
[32:01]of the road took away from me that which I expected from
[32:06]you because I didn't deserve it and then he says oh yeah
[32:09]I liquor I ate any I left for my jealous Al Thani
[32:13]Fubini were bein uncle later he says or perhaps you saw me
[32:16]prefer sitting with those who spend their time in venues or in
[32:24]in vain talk and in wasting time and purpose on purpose Philippe
[32:28]I should say or without purpose just sitting in Spain wasting time
[32:32]and that's why you ended up depriving me of that and sense
[32:38]of connection with your Allah the hadith says Allah in adhara ater
[32:44]who then Caracalla a scholar if you see him he reminds you
[32:49]of Allah so we need to seek out them his spending time
[32:54]with scholars it's been being with those who love to sit with
[32:57]scholars establishing a good team around us so that then what can
[33:02]happen is they remind us of Allah they remind us of Daraa
[33:08]that's for the bad influences such you know these groups they push
[33:13]us away from Allah Allah doesn't want me to be in such
[33:15]groups now how do I recognize who these people are these are
[33:20]the people that live in extravagance they talk about nothing other than
[33:24]materialism you see that when they're sitting there maybe talking loudly and
[33:30]being boisterous and not necessarily aware that Allah Spano - Anna sees
[33:36]how they act and sees how they talk and this is you
[33:41]know this is something that we see commonly right now a third
[33:45]reason why I might not be close to Allah is my being
[33:50]entrenched in sin the Imam says in the drama becomes luckily politically
[33:54]how you had a militia Satan or because of the fact that
[33:59]you've seen me not shy enough when I'm around you that you
[34:07]rewarded me or punished me by not being able to talk to
[34:11]you and connect with you so then a sense of shyness and
[34:17]shame is really important wine because it is through this Chinese and
[34:21]through the shame that I am able to recognize a loss presence
[34:29]right and respect him we mentioned the talk was to respect Allah
[34:33]and one can't respect someone else without being shine why because shying
[34:38]away from sin is something essential the second hadith in The Book
[34:43]of Allah Coffee states that when allah subhanaw taala first created Adam
[34:47]he gave him alayhi salam he given the choice between three things
[34:57]deen religion hiya shyness and aku in the intellect so generally salam
[35:02]offers him these three says your Lord has asked me to descend
[35:05]upon you and to ask you to take one of these three
[35:09]to select one of these three so he selects a lock of
[35:12]the intellect so jibra eel Ali Salam he tells a Dean Oh
[35:16]hiya Dean religion and shyness to go to return from once from
[35:20]where they came and they say they respond to Gibran at least
[35:23]and I'm according to the hadith in a la muralla economic arena
[35:27]Makkah allah subhanaw taala commanded us to be with our with intellect
[35:31]wherever it goes which means then that I can't be considered as
[35:36]someone who is who has a sound intellect without having Dean and
[35:43]hiya when without having religion in my life and and having a
[35:46]sense of shame and shyness and I can't be considered someone who
[35:49]has religion without having haka without having a good intellect and without
[35:53]having a sense of shyness from falling into sin and I can't
[35:58]be considered someone who was shy without following Dean religion and without
[36:03]having strong aachen so the three are proportionately connected with one another
[36:08]right the higher my shyness the higher my Dean the higher my
[36:11]intellect and the same applies with the others the higher my intellect
[36:15]the higher my Dean the higher my shyness shying away from sin
[36:23]is essential to staying away from sin knowing that for example if
[36:27]I'm in such a situation there's or I would never put myself
[36:31]in such a situation right I would shy away from it but
[36:33]if I am in such a situation that I would avoid it
[36:37]right but I'm not going to put myself in front of the
[36:39]faith in front of the cannon so to speak right so prophet
[36:45]muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says falafel may be a mocha see
[36:49]at falafel cassia there are three things that cause the heart to
[36:52]become harsh and I'm able to connect with allah subhanaw taala he
[37:03]says Terada for them I love them he says that that stem
[37:08]after sin after sin causes a compounding of sin Allah says in
[37:15]Allah Quran Quran and a Peruvian that there becomes like a rust
[37:17]a darkness that takes over the heart because of the compound compounding
[37:22]of of the same so also he says a cured meat eating
[37:29]Haram food might wanna jealous it in motor and sitting with those
[37:34]who are spiritually are dead so I understand now then how to
[37:38]assess where I am right these are the ways that these are
[37:43]the problems that might be getting in the way of me connecting
[37:45]with a loss of Hannah Montana the second thing I need to
[37:49]do then now that I've analyzed myself and analyzed where the problem
[37:52]lies and and figured out that you know maybe it's because I'm
[37:55]lazy I don't have enough energy to worship Allah maybe it's you
[38:00]know that might be because I'm not surrounding myself with the right
[38:03]people I need to be our own scholars and people who love
[38:05]to be around scholars of of religion to learn more about paid
[38:10]to to figure out methods to come closer to Allah perhaps it
[38:12]could be that I have sent right and as these sins that
[38:16]are getting in the way of my connection to allah subhanaw taala
[38:18]and it's and it's all rooted in my lack of shyness so
[38:23]the next thing that i need to do is i need to
[38:28]start working on myself and working on myself takes a lot of
[38:31]courage why because you know once i admit my sins to a
[38:35]loss of power to honor that takes courage right just like if
[38:38]I do something wrong at the workplace or you know in in
[38:43]the family structure in a social structure it takes a lot of
[38:45]guts to be able to admit your error the Dobby has left
[38:50]Amari says and I had a Bolivia mistaken Phil hello when I'm
[38:55]Rocky film Ella and I saw the Imam said I'm Allah he
[39:03]teaches us here he says look you have to admit your error
[39:07]so now that you've recognized where your weaknesses lie the next thing
[39:12]that you must do house is you have to admit your errors
[39:15]it's a very very profound job see when you connect with Donna
[39:24]it really softens your heart right the tears that come out of
[39:28]our eyes when we recite the Dharma by becomes at the money
[39:31]or a sign of kichul they're a sign of God consciousness they're
[39:34]also a sign of repentance right and they're a sign that you
[39:39]have really connected with yourself and if you've connected with yourself then
[39:43]you've connected with Allah you know honey says when out of enough
[39:45]said he who knows himself truly well well known as Lord we
[39:53]find also thirdly that there are really two types of personalities there's
[39:59]the weak personality and then there's the strong personality right when we
[40:05]say spiritually speaking right there's a strong spiritual personality in a weak
[40:07]spiritual person out the weak spiritual personality then is going to be
[40:13]the one who is entrenched and desires his his soul is sake
[40:16]right because of the duplicity because of the sane because of the
[40:19]lack of shyness because of hanging out with people that don't remind
[40:23]them of a lot of Hana Hana let's say that such a
[40:26]person has maybe 80 percent sense right and twenty percent where you
[40:30]know that's still recoverable well the strong person is the person who
[40:34]has less errors right the less the error the more the clarity
[40:39]the person has the less the rain on the heart the rest
[40:41]that unless the rust or the darkness on the heart the more
[40:45]able you are to see the light the good news is that
[40:47]of course repentance and they're doing good deeds in society helping others
[40:53]will remove that right looking beyond myself to become a servant to
[41:01]the to the creations of Allah subhana Allah allows me to remove
[41:04]so much of that darkness and to break off so much of
[41:07]that rust that is clogging or preventing my heart from from the
[41:13]insight that it needs to come closer to allah subhanaw taala so
[41:17]the question is that how do I make that fix how do
[41:23]I fix that how do I break out from that cast of
[41:27]rust that has has come on to my heart and yes I
[41:32]do need to do good deeds but first those good these have
[41:34]to start with the right intention right and that right intention has
[41:40]to come from the right place so the Imam salaallah alayhi teaches
[41:42]me to say he says Allah hey my house I took a
[41:49]loss I took oh Allah I did not sin when I sent
[41:51]I didn't intend to offend you well I'm not bitter will be
[41:57]a tikka jihad and I am just believing in your and your
[42:00]lordship to me no I I didn't do it out of that
[42:04]right because we know most of us when we sin we don't
[42:08]sin because of that reason right we don't send to spite allah
[42:11]subhanaw taala we sin because we're forgetful and heedless right and then
[42:15]he says well uh we America most FF and it's not that
[42:21]I belittled you or that I didn't see you in the high
[42:24]status that you're in well I can hardly turn our lights what
[42:29]so will happen enough see but just a mistake I made a
[42:36]mistake right and mine f-cell Amara Basu caused me to do what
[42:38]it just it painted the same to me something really beautiful and
[42:44]I didn't think of the consequences and so I slipped and I
[42:47]fell so well it's the NFC well helluva Nia Hawaii and my
[42:52]how am I my when beats me my sense of just wanting
[42:55]to do something out of a one and we spoke about that
[43:01]and past lectures Wow Arnett Nyali hush a party and what helped
[43:07]me to fall into the sin he says is my deviation and
[43:14]my heedlessness and then he says well Ronnie said to Raquel Murphy
[43:20]I'll AAF ekadasi Duke he says and what are the things that
[43:23]cost me to fall into this is because you give me so
[43:28]much space you don't compel me to do anything you give me
[43:31]the choice and I just took that for granted waha I left
[43:38]to cabbage or D and with I put effort in unfortunately being
[43:43]disobedient you fell Ranade become a missed sympathy how beautiful the words
[43:52]are the map says and now from your torture in your torment
[43:55]who's going to save me of course Allah will save us planning
[44:00]so how do I resolve that in this issue what's the cure
[44:04]because I really need the cure right I really need to know
[44:08]how it is that I can get out of this the situation
[44:10]that I'm in the amount says that I have to cry for
[44:14]myself I have to think about my death so to cry about
[44:20]myself the purpose signifies a change a change that's unlike on other
[44:24]and any other change that's why I renounce tell us that one
[44:26]of the signs of acceptance of the door other than packaging it
[44:34]beautifully and having sincerity and purifying my heart analyzing where I am
[44:40]and figuring out the reason for my the situation that I'm in
[44:45]I need to first and foremost cry for over myself and because
[44:52]would that have that signifies is that nobody is forcing me to
[44:56]make this change this change is coming deeply and sincerely and purely
[45:00]from within me the Imam says one colony illegitimate a lake now
[45:08]I start asking o Allah transfer me to the level of the
[45:11]repenters which means now that I've realized the error of my ways
[45:18]and I have rejected them and I have made the decision not
[45:21]to go back to them because that's what Imam Ali Salim Allah
[45:25]Allah says when he was asked about had the Toba defined tell
[45:28]before me he said that what you are to do is you
[45:34]are to assess where you are admit your error reject the error
[45:39]of your ways ensure that you will never go back never go
[45:45]back to such a sin right that is a sign of true
[45:52]repentance and act upon that right so he says won't put me
[45:56]in a devotee to toe with you like oh Allah make me
[45:59]of those who are considered your hunters to you in your eyes
[46:02]one clearly will bouquet ala nafsi well I only have one other
[46:08]big bouquet ala nafsi and help me by allowing me to cry
[46:10]over the past and what I have done to myself so that
[46:14]I may never return to her you know they say that the
[46:19]best way to correct one errors ones errors is to realize the
[46:22]error of their ways to reject the error and never to go
[46:27]back to it again as the Imam said but also that constant
[46:29]remembrance of the error reminding yourself that look look at where you
[46:36]were look at how you got there remember never forget now that's
[46:40]not to mean that that drags me down and I never can
[46:42]never move forward no but it's not that you know to have
[46:48]that mentality that I have no regrets no regret is important in
[46:52]my mind he says Kepha been a tomato but then having regret
[46:58]and feeling a sense of guilt that is sufficient repentance to allah
[47:01]subhanaw taala so regretting the past is important for me if I
[47:06]want to move forward in my life well I need okay I'm
[47:09]NFC and help me cry over myself I've had F NATO bit
[47:13]this way if you will our Miley robbery for I have spent
[47:16]my life in just false hope in procrastination from coming close to
[47:25]you and then the Imam says remember death either ananova to a
[47:30]largely highly elaborate lymphoma I do the Arak dirty when I'm a
[47:34]verbal ominous all a Niva jati what would happen to me if
[47:40]I was to die now and I was to be transferred to
[47:44]a grave that I didn't prepare for myself my grave is no
[47:47]longer cold in a beautiful place that is similar to paradise but
[47:50]rather a dark heated and firepit of my sins and I did
[48:02]it through my good deeds furnish it with all the things that
[48:06]would allow it to be a paradise with my good deeds right
[48:11]and so that doing good deeds is what's going to help me
[48:14]in the hereafter but that must only come from a deep purity
[48:20]of intention sincerity and what I do to allah subhanaw taala and
[48:23]to here we ask a loss of hanataro to give us that
[48:27]sincerity to be able to connect with him through our for surely
[48:30]it is the best of i bought and we don't want to
[48:32]be of those who are considered too proud to ask allah to
[48:36]humble ourselves before him Allah help us fix ourselves yeah allow us
[48:41]to realize the importance of connecting with you and allow us to
[48:45]connect with you in this holy month for surely if we can't
[48:47]connect with you in this month then when will we ever come
[48:52]into the allah o allah we ask you that you remove all
[48:56]of the epithelia out from the mean and mommy not that you
[48:58]give health to all of our sick that you allow us to
[49:01]be as you want us to be not as we want to
[49:04]be unless it is how you want us to be Allah we
[49:06]ask um you seek you to repay the debts of all those
[49:07]who aren't that remove the oppression of of all of those who
[49:11]are oppressed to return the estranged to their homelands to bestow your
[49:16]mercy upon all of our sick we ask you that you support
[49:17]all of the volunteers that have made programs like this and others
[49:20]possible around the world or Allah algorithm on an economy that all
[49:24]gratitude is to allah subhanaw taala welcomed in liable on Amin well
[49:31]Fatiha Allah Roquemore home in with a chili for chili
