[0:05]i begin in the name of the almighty god the compassionate the

[0:13]merciful the one who has created everything in utmost perfection and may

[0:18]the peace and blessings of the almighty god be upon his pure

[0:23]and beloved messenger the peak of his creation the symbol of humanity

[0:29]the holy prophet muhammad and his immaculate progeny of the peace be

[0:42]upon them especially the awaited savior the imam of our time al-imam

[0:49]may allah hasten his reappearance and make us all amongst the sincere

[0:56]and dedicated servants respected brothers and sisters i extend to you my

[1:10]sincerest condolences on the tragic departure of the greatest creation of allah

[1:18]the holy prophet muhammad the departure of rasulullah represents the greatest loss

[1:31]in the history of humankind for the prophet was the greatest manifestation

[1:40]of allah's mercy allah's guidance allah's generosity that is why the bait

[1:49]peace be upon them would consider the day of his departure as

[1:52]the greatest loss in history however on such an occasion we come

[2:01]to open our hearts for the position of rasulullah of being a

[2:10]messenger sent by allah subhanahu wa we muslims firmly believe that he

[2:17]is the seal of messengers and that he received revelation from allah

[2:23]this is part of our belief system however if you were to

[2:32]ask some muslims today to submit evidence and proof that the prophet

[2:37]sallallahu alaihi was indeed connected to allah he received revelation from god

[2:44]and that the quran that he brought is the word of god

[2:46]are we able to demonstrate that we as muslims on such a

[2:58]night must make an oath with rasulullah that the way that i

[3:03]will compensate you for all of your services in addition to following

[3:06]your path and practicing your teachings i will read and research and

[3:15]increase my knowledge such that i can prove beyond any doubt that

[3:19]you are the messenger of allah today seriously if someone challenges us

[3:24]and tells us what's your evidence did you just believe that he's

[3:28]a prophet because your parents told you because your society told you

[3:32]your family instructed you what is your evidence that 14 centuries ago

[3:39]this man was a messenger sent by allah subhanahu ta'ala are we

[3:43]able to demonstrate that this is the point of my discussion in

[3:48]the english program tonight to show solid evidence and proof that indeed

[3:55]prophet muhammad sallallahu alaihi was connected to allah and that he received

[3:59]revelation from the almighty god we muslims must be well versed with

[4:05]these proofs we must be able to articulate them that will strengthen

[4:12]our hearts because i'll be very honest with you these days people

[4:15]are coming and they have doubts some people may be shy to

[4:21]express their doubts they ask us what's the evidence that he is

[4:25]the messenger of allah subhanahu ta'ala show me proof show me evidence

[4:29]can we show that evidence beyond any doubt there is one striking

[4:38]hadith that states when we are put in our graves as you

[4:41]know the angels interrogate us they ask us questions one of the

[4:47]question is who's your prophet who's your messenger so the hadith states

[4:52]that this person who's being questioned and this person who's being questioned

[4:56]as a muslim he says muhammad rasool allah he is my prophet

[5:02]you know what the angels ask this person according to this hadith

[5:07]they ask him a follow-up question how did you know that he's

[5:17]a prophet this hadith indicates to us allah doesn't want blind answers

[5:23]from us when allah questions us about our belief system allah subhanahu

[5:28]wa ta'ala is going to ask us what's your proof what's your

[5:32]evidence yes you got the answer right but show me the work

[5:35]do you remember when you were going to school and you were

[5:38]solving a math problem the teacher would tell you i don't want

[5:41]just the right answer show your work show me how you got

[5:46]the answer sometimes you'd put the right answer but you still don't

[5:49]get the full point you go to your teacher and tell your

[5:53]teacher why am i not getting the full mark the teacher will

[5:57]tell you i told you to show your work showing your work

[6:01]is extremely important even when it comes to your akida even when

[6:04]it comes to the belief system so allah will actually ask us

[6:11]about that are we ready to give the proper answer now this

[6:14]is a very important discussion and we can spend hours and days

[6:19]and months and years bringing evidence that he is rasulullah but i

[6:23]would like to summarize the main points when you examine the life

[6:28]of the holy prophet and the contributions he brought to humanity and

[6:33]you examine the content of the holy quran this generates certainty and

[6:38]confidence in our hearts and minds that indeed he is rasulullah he

[6:45]was connected to allah i would like to share with you the

[6:47]following dimensions or angles that prove he is the messenger of god

[6:52]the first dimension and the angle is the scientific references that the

[6:59]prophet salallahu brought through the holy quran scientific facts that were not

[7:08]known in seventh century arabia i will share with you a few

[7:16]examples one example is in surat daryat in this blessed verse that

[7:26]we have created the universe i myself created the universe and we

[7:32]are constantly expanding the universe who in seventh century arabia knew that

[7:39]the universe was expanding where did the prophet sallallahu alaihi bring this

[7:44]fact from it was only a century ago that edwin hubble discovered

[7:50]that the universe is expanding and basically using the telescope he realized

[7:56]that the stars are moving away from each other so he concluded

[7:59]that the universe is expanding and then later science confirmed this how

[8:05]would the prophet salallahu alayhi know this 14 centuries ago that's one

[8:10]example another example allah we have made the sky a protecting ceiling

[8:25]a layer that protects you what does this mean how does the

[8:32]sky protect you in the past people did not know the atmosphere

[8:36]and the layers of the atmosphere all they would see is thin

[8:42]air how does thin air protect you today with modern science we

[8:48]know that the atmosphere surrounding the planet is an amazing protective shield

[8:54]one example is the ozone it protects you from harmful sunlight the

[9:00]magnetic field that you have around the earth that in itself is

[9:06]a protective shield who knew this in seventh century arabia a third

[9:12]example is when allah states those who disbelieve do they not see

[9:22]that the heavens and the earth the universe was one small core

[9:26]and then we split it we opened it and we have created

[9:34]from water every living thing water is the source of life in

[9:42]seventh century arabia when we look at our historical records no one

[9:46]knew this besides the prophet salallahu did he get this information from

[9:54]when you put these together this builds overwhelming evidence that he was

[10:00]connected to a higher power it's not that he was a smart

[10:05]genius man who discovered this it's not possible for you in 7th

[10:09]century arabia to discover all of this and get it all right

[10:12]life is the is based on water water is what gives life

[10:17]to every organism and subhanallah your body over 60 percent of your

[10:25]body is water over 80 percent or in fact 82 percent of

[10:31]your blood is water over 90 of your brain is water and

[10:36]isn't that the miracle of allah 92 water you can think you

[10:43]can contemplate you have memory isn't that amazing allah uses water to

[10:46]achieve that look at the creation of allah subhanahu ta'ala it's fascinating

[10:50]when you think about it so when you put these scientific references

[10:56]in the holy quran they generate certainty to you as a muslim

[11:01]that my messenger my prophet was connected to a higher power that's

[11:08]one dimension the scientific references and there are many examples i just

[11:11]shared with you a few for the sake of time let's examine

[11:16]the second dimension the second dimension that demonstrates that the prophet sallallahu

[11:24]alaihi was connected to allah is the power of the verses of

[11:27]the holy quran in arabic the eloquence that you find in the

[11:34]quran the balaga and also the phonetics the way in which the

[11:41]verses sound even when you speak them their sounds are truly miraculous

[11:46]when you examine that the prophets would speak these verses orally and

[11:53]they had beautiful content they're well structured and organized and on top

[11:58]of that the way they sound is amazing and it has to

[12:01]do with the content i'll share with you this example the last

[12:08]chapter of the holy quran is what's the theme of suratunnas that

[12:16]devil who whispers to you he whispers that waswasa is whispering into

[12:23]our hearts now let me ask you the act of whispering is

[12:29]that a silent act or a loud act it's a silent act

[12:34]you see that every verse in surat nas ends with one of

[12:41]those silent letters haruflems whispering letters we call them in arabic to

[12:48]help you focus on the content bismillah see when you whisper to

[13:00]someone you use the scene and the sheen these two sounds you

[13:06]see how every verse is ending with that scene did you notice

[13:21]that subhanallah even the phonetics the way in which the surah is

[13:25]articulated helps you with its content who can pull that off in

[13:31]addition to all the amazing literary gems in the surah this is

[13:37]amazing in the holy quran this demonstrates to you that this man

[13:41]is connected to a higher power another example we find in surat

[13:50]hud one of the letters that are considered heavy on the tongue

[13:54]is the letter m you kind of have to wrap your lips

[13:57]around it to say it you can say it but it's a

[14:01]little bit heavier than other letters for instance say the word mammoth

[14:05]or mouth it requires some effort but compare that to another word

[14:12]that doesn't have the letter m like love you see it's lighter

[14:15]on the tongue allah subhana wa ta'ala what does he do in

[14:18]suratud allah speaks about prophet nu and allah puts eight m's right

[14:25]after each other they're so light on the tongue they're not heavy

[14:29]and they have beautiful amazing eloquent meaning in arabic did you hear

[14:44]that um with the rules of islam you have eight m's over

[14:47]here show me one language on earth you put eight m's next

[14:51]to each other they make perfect sense and they're so easy on

[14:55]the tongue doesn't this prove to you this man has a source

[14:57]other than this worldly dimension this is coming from allah subhana wa

[15:03]and then my dear brothers and sisters on top of all this

[15:09]recognize one thing that the prophet grew up not reading or writing

[15:14]there is a discussion amongst scholars was the prophet unable to read

[15:21]meaning if you show him something he can't read it or he

[15:23]could read it but he did he was not allowed by allah

[15:27]to practice reading there's a difference among scholars my understanding my personal

[15:32]belief is that he could read and write if he wanted to

[15:34]but he never practiced reading and writing so no one accuses him

[15:38]of writing the quran look at this rasool he never studied anywhere

[15:43]he was never educated anywhere he was in arabia away from the

[15:45]centers of learning and many times the prophet would receive these verses

[15:54]not in a comfortable state he would be in the battlefield for

[15:58]instance he would receive the surahs you know a lot of the

[15:59]quran was revealed in expeditions and battlefields do you know an author

[16:07]who can produce to you the same level of quality when he's

[16:10]tired or when he's comfortable do you know such an author do

[16:17]you know such an author who can focus and write to you

[16:19]something spectacular when he's in the battlefield the prophet gives you the

[16:24]same level of quality whether he's at home or he's traveling whether

[16:27]he's tired he's not tired whether he's being attacked by his enemy

[16:31]or not that indicates this quran is coming from another source not

[16:36]from the prophet himself because your human state is reflected in your

[16:40]writings if i'm angry right now and i'm writing something you can

[16:43]see that anger in your writing his human state is not reflected

[16:50]in the quran he can be in the battlefield but you have

[16:54]a chapter that calls to peace this shows that his emotional state

[17:03]is not reflected in the holy quran and the prophet throughout 23

[17:07]years he never revised the quran do you know such an author

[17:12]in history 20 years he produces your work and he never edits

[17:15]it bring me the greatest of authors they edit their work have

[17:18]you ever heard in history that the prophet said you know what

[17:21]two months ago when i said the surah and i said this

[17:25]word let me replace it with another word let me bring a

[17:30]more powerful word never happened in the history of the prophet sallallahu

[17:33]alaihi and the prophet never wrote that he was orally speaking it

[17:37]this is an indication this is from allah so when you look

[17:43]at the literary power of the quran it generates and certainty that

[17:47]this is from allah subhanahu wa to allah look at surat al-mudathr

[17:51]those short verses are so amazing in their power even if you

[17:57]don't know what they mean you just listen to them you're moved

[18:22]just look at the power in these verses subhan allah when you

[18:30]examine the power of the holy quran it's unmatched by any power

[18:33]that the arabs knew about and that is indeed very fascinating you

[18:46]see the rhyming in it you see the power the way the

[18:50]words are structured in another verse allah in another chapter allah states

[19:09]you see these powerful words how allah structures them this is evidence

[19:16]that this is from allah subhanahu wa ta'ala so when you look

[19:19]at the scientific references this gives you that this is from a

[19:24]higher power when you look at the literary tools in the holy

[19:27]quran the eloquence the phonetics you can tell this is coming from

[19:31]a higher power and then when you look at the content every

[19:36]single science that you can think of there are references to it

[19:40]in the holy quran mathematical equations you know the holy quran uses

[19:45]mathematical equations very delicate equations when it's explaining the laws of inheritance

[19:52]and earth so now this prophet is a master in math as

[19:55]well he's connected to allah subhanahu wa ta'ala who knew these very

[19:59]amazing equations and then when you look at the comprehensive law that

[20:05]the holy quran brings us the laws of prayer the laws of

[20:11]fasting these are so detailed laws how could someone just come up

[20:19]with them and give you this comprehensive system the holy quran even

[20:23]has a verse about adam ayat today when you want to write

[20:26]alone somebody takes a loan from you the holy quran tells you

[20:31]document the sloan have witnesses this is how you write it look

[20:33]at how detailed it is it doesn't leave anything all the details

[20:38]of your life are contained in the holy quran who can produce

[20:41]something like that and it flows beautifully and it's very eloquent it

[20:48]has legal ruling spiritual lessons it has amazing captivating stories when you

[20:53]know arabic and you listen to the stories of the quran you

[20:56]just want to listen more and more and more it captivates your

[21:02]heart and then on top of that you see the rasulallah his

[21:07]gentle amazing character at a personal level you see this man usually

[21:12]someone who has all this power becomes arrogant but rasulullah was at

[21:18]the peak of humility and humbleness look at the historical reports that

[21:23]describe to us the akhlaq of rasulullah first of all when he

[21:32]was in a gathering and someone would speak the prophet would give

[21:36]this person his full undivided attention he would look at him face

[21:41]to face and he would give him full attention to make him

[21:46]know that i care about you i'm not dismissing you even if

[21:50]that person was shallow-minded in his thinking and his mentality the prophet

[21:54]would give him attention and even even the narrations the historical reports

[21:58]state that when the prophet would speak to someone you know if

[22:02]i'm in a gathering and let's say i'm speaking to the person

[22:06]on my right normally i just change i just turn my face

[22:10]and i would look at this person right my body stays fixed

[22:14]i would change and turn my face you know what the prophet

[22:18]would do when he would speak to someone he'd shift his entire

[22:20]body and he would face him to show him respect this is

[22:27]the gentle character that he had with his ummah with his people

[22:32]his forgiveness for 20 years the meccans fought him persecuted him tried

[22:41]to kill him killed many muslims the day allah gives him power

[22:47]at the conquest of mecca what does the prophet salallahu alaihi he

[22:50]comes and he tells them go i freed you show me one

[22:57]leader in history he was persecuted for 20 years his enemies tried

[23:00]to kill him assassinate him the day allah gives him power he

[23:03]frees them he says go i've forgiven you when you combine all

[23:10]of this is it possible that this man is not connected to

[23:13]allah subhanahu wa ta'ala i can share with you many many more

[23:17]pieces of evidence my dear brothers and sisters that demonstrate he is

[23:23]the creation of god he was connected to allah subhanahu wa to

[23:26]allah and his message is from allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and we

[23:30]as muslims we should know this as families as parents raising and

[23:33]educating our children we must be very familiar with this my dear

[23:38]brothers and sisters in order for us to strengthen our iman in

[23:44]order for us to stay closer to rasulullah he brought us so

[23:51]many gems let's study his life let's study his character you want

[23:59]the best example to be successful follow the path of rasulullah regardless

[24:05]of what your background in if you're in business follow the prophet

[24:09]the prophet and his youth he would work for the business of

[24:14]lady hadid he has business experience he knows how to trade he's

[24:19]not someone isolated from society he doesn't know how society is run

[24:23]and subhanallah lady khadijah when she sees his exemplary traits his honesty

[24:30]he's not greedy she offered him more he said no i'll just

[24:34]accept what we agreed upon she realized this is no ordinary man

[24:39]i'm giving him more he refuses it who refuses more money she

[24:43]realized there's something different about him his honesty his generous spirit and

[24:51]soul how would such a man achieve victory would he grew up

[24:57]as an orphan the holy prophet salallahu never met his father and

[25:01]he was six years old when his mother passed away he grew

[25:05]up as an orphan yet he has all this knowledge all this

[25:08]intellect all this honesty all this integrity where did he bring this

[25:14]from the prophet answers allah is the one who mannered me allah

[25:18]subhanahu wa ta'ala is the one who raised me so as we

[25:25]are commemorating the departure of rasulullah let's be closer to his method

[25:30]let's be closer to his impeccable moral code to his this will

[25:38]open paths in your heart this makes you firm the prophet sallallahu

[25:44]alaihi when the attacks would intensify against him and there are times

[25:48]in our lives where we crumble we collapse we fall the prophet

[25:53]would resort to his salah to the night prayer you know how

[25:59]much power it gave him we know ya rasulullah that your chest

[26:05]becomes tight you get depressed because of what they say glorify the

[26:14]name of allah praise allah and fall into sujud this was the

[26:19]weapon of rasulullah whenever they would harass him hurt him he would

[26:23]fall into sujood and burdens would be lifted from his chest he

[26:28]had a special relationship with nafila tile it would give him infinite

[26:38]energy and that's how he became successful this is rasulullah let's honor

[26:44]him let's read his biography let's preserve his legacy and let's all

[26:49]be proud of following muhammad my dear brothers and sisters now let

[27:01]me take your hearts to those final moments in the life of

[27:05]rasulullah was very troubled when she saw her father her guardian her

[27:12]protector breathing his final moments and his situation his health was deteriorating

[27:21]and she knew that she would lose him soon so she goes

[27:26]to him she tells him ya rasulallah my dear father are we

[27:31]going to lose you what am i going to do after you

[27:36]ya rasulullah the prophet sallallahu alaihi consoles her comforts her he tells

[27:42]her habibati my beloved father know that i have to go know

[27:53]that muhammad is a messenger just like previous messengers he can die

[27:59]or be killed i have to leave just like previous prophets had

[28:05]to leave i am going back to my lord but let me

[28:07]tell you something i will share a secret with you o fatima

[28:12]you shall be the first person to join me after me this

[28:16]comforted the heart of lady fatima she knew that tragedies would afflict

[28:21]her after the departure of rasulullah but she knew that she would

[28:32]be the first amongst his family to leave and to join him

[28:34]she breaks into tears at that point one narration states the prophet

[28:40]sallallahu alaihi calls on amir al-womenin he tells him oh ali come

[28:48]here oh my cousin my brother come here i have a request

[28:51]the narration states that the prophet sallallahu alaihi he put the hand

[28:59]of lady father in the hand of emir and he told him

[29:05][Music] oh ali this is my trust in your hands oh ali

[29:15]as long as you're alive protect her be there for her for

[29:21]many afflictions will befall her after me my ummah will he breaks

[29:35]into tears in these sad moments they farewell rasool and they farewell

[29:44]the messenger of allah we say to you ya rasool allah what

[29:49]happened to your beloved father after you departed this world ya rasulallah

[29:57]how did this umma treat your family all you asked this umass

[30:03]to be good to your family to show them adam the love

[30:05]for your family how did they pay you [Music] muhammad
