Joyous was that land, a prince born there
Oh Medina, oh Medina
The sun shone brighter, fragrant the air
People would stare, people would stare
The sky now would glow, what could it be?
Written in the clouds welcome Askari
تلك الارض كانت مستبشرة، ولد امير هناك
يا مدينة، يا مدينة
ازداد نور الشمس، و تعطر الهواء
الناس حدقوا، الناس حدقوا
الان السماء نورت، ماذا يمكن ان يكون؟
مكتوب على الغيوم، اهلا بالعسكري

The roses all bloomed, earth with joy consumed
Oh holy day, oh holy day
The birds all now sang, bells of rejoice rang
Welcome our Ameer, welcome our Ameer
People would all call prepare his crown
Let us celebrate, From dawn till sundown
جميع الازهار تفتحت، الارض ملئت بالافراح
ايها اليوم المقدس، ايها اليوم المقدس
جميع الطيور غردت، اجراس الفرح دقت
اهلا اميرنا، اهلا اميرنا
جميع الناس نادوا، جهزوا تاجه
دعونا نحتفل، من الفجر الى الغروب

Gifted were presents in his holy name
All celebrated, all celebrated
Peoples’ joy that day could now not be tamed
Can they be blamed?
Their loyalty they’d proudly proclaim
For with Askari, such great blessings came
قدمت الهداية، باسمه الشريف
الكل احتفلوا، الكل احتفلوا
سعادة الناس في ذلك اليوم، لم يستطع احد ايقافها
هل يستطيع احد ان يلومهم؟
ولايتهم، بفخر يعلنونها،
مع العسكري، جاءت بركات كثيرة

He spent his lifetime, serving The Sublime
Worshipping Allah, worshipping Allah
He’d bless his abode, every land and road
Whole of Samarra, whole of Samarra
Words are left so scarce, what can I say
I can’t describe the worth of Askari
امضى عمره، بخدمة الاعلى
يعبد الله، يعبد الله
هو بركة مقامه، و كل ارض و درب
كل سامراء، كل سامراء
الكلام قليل، ماذا استطيع ان اقول
لا استطيع ان اصف قيمة العسكري

Then his son was born, him we do adore
Our twelfth leader, Our twelfth leader
Our oaths we stated, for The Awaited
We are his Shia, we are his Shia
Our pledge we will always uphold
His service worth more than diamonds and gold
بعد ذلك ولد ابنه، و نحن نحبه كثيرا
قائدنا الثاني عشر، قائدنا الثاني عشر
اعلنا عهودنا، للمنتظر
نحن شيعته، نحن شيعته
دائما سنتمسك بعهودنا
