[0:09][Music] I begin in the name of the almighty God the compassionate

[0:25]the merciful the one who has created everything in utmost perfection and

[0:32]May the peace and blessings of the almighty God be upon his

[0:36]pure and beloved messenger the peak of his creation the symbol of

[0:42]humanity the holy prophet Muhammad sallai and his Immaculate progeny of theb

[0:54]peace be upon them especially the leader of our time the awaited

[1:01]Savior and we ask Allah subhanahu waala to hasten his reappearance and

[1:09]make us all amongst his sincere and dedicated servants respected brothers and

[1:16]sisters allum I extend to you my condolences on the passing of

[1:26]lady khad this great Noble lady who sacrificed everything that she had

[1:35]for the sake of Islam on the 10th of the month of

[1:39]Ramadan there are reports that she went back to her Lord in

[1:46]her honor tonight we will examine her Legacy we will examine the

[1:54]many valuable lessons that we learned from the life of this forgotten

[1:57]lady rarely do we remember her rarely do we Muslims around the

[2:07]world honor the great legacy of lady khad lady khad was amongst

[2:14]the greatest people who lived in the Society of the Prophet sallallah

[2:20]alai before the religion of Islam she was known to be pure

[2:28]by her community that's why one of her titles was the pure

[2:33]one everyone in Arabia recognized how pure lady khad was another name

[2:41]that people would use to refer to her was the princess of

[2:49]quray that's how much beloved she was by the mechans she had

[2:55]that type of status lady Khadijah was the daughter of a noble

[3:00]man by the name ofid the son of Assad and she's actually

[3:06]a distant cousin to the prophet sallah alai she meets the prophet

[3:12]in her great grandfather is the great grandfather of the Prophet sallallahu

[3:18]alaihi Al and he's also the great grandfather of Lady Khadijah so

[3:21]she is a distant cousin to the prophet her mother was a

[3:27]noble Lady by the name of FAA now lady khadam was known

[3:34]for her wealth she was the wealthiest business woman in Arabia and

[3:38]according to some reports the wealthiest person in Arabia her wealth exceeded

[3:43]the wealth of men many people wonder what's the source of her

[3:47]wealth how did Lady khad in that Society become so rich she

[3:53]became Rich According to some reports because she inherited the wealth of

[3:59]her father KU kid was a successful businessman and according to some

[4:05]reports she was only 10 years old when her father was killed

[4:08]in a battle some scholars believe it could have been the Battle

[4:14]of fuar it was a very ugly war that happened during the

[4:17]lifetime of the Prophet sallallah alai Al this is way before the

[4:21]religion of Islam so at the age of 10 she was the

[4:25]inheritor of her father she inherited his wealth now through her business

[4:33]savviness she grew the wealth that she received from her father she

[4:41]made very good decisions she knew how to do business she would

[4:45]choose trustworthy agents and that's how her wealth increased so one reason

[4:50]why she was so wealthy in addition to the inheritance that she

[4:54]received was that she was very business savvy unlike women in that

[5:02]time who were not trained to be successful in business lady khad

[5:06]was independent she lost her father when she was young so she

[5:12]stood up on her feet and she brought success to her business

[5:15]the second reason why lady khadam was rich is because she always

[5:21]asked Allah for Baraka history tells us that before she would send

[5:27]a caravan to do business she would would go to Al she

[5:32]would stand by the Kaa she would raise her hands in Dua

[5:38]and she would say oh lord of ibraim I ask you to

[5:44]put the blessings and the Baraka in my business and every time

[5:48]she did that her business would do better her business would grow

[5:54]and that shows you my dear brothers and sisters if you want

[5:57]quality of Baraka in your life and in your business always ask

[6:01]Allah for Baraka let's say you're an employee today you go to

[6:07]your work you're working in the morning say yaah Allah today I'm

[6:09]going for for Hal sustenance I ask you Ya Allah to put

[6:15]bar in my day you want to do business you want to

[6:20]buy sell property you want to buy sell products ask Allah to

[6:24]put Baraka in your business when Allah puts quality Baraka in your

[6:28]life in your business that's when you achieve success and when you

[6:35]start your day by asking Allah to put Bara in your business

[6:38]you will become less materialistic yes you'll have money you can enjoy

[6:44]the blessings Allah has given you but your heart will not be

[6:49]too attached to this Dunya this was one beautiful quality that lady

[6:52]Khadijah had despite her wealth she was not a materialistic person she

[6:56]was not attached to the materialism of this world and if you

[7:02]want peace of mind my dear brothers and sisters detach your heart

[7:06]from your wealth own your wealth use your wealth enjoy your wealth

[7:12]but detach your heart from your wealth a dear brother who lives

[7:17]in the states once he told me say I was extremely materialistic

[7:23]the day that I would make good money in my real estate

[7:29]business I would go home very very happy very excited as if

[7:33]God has given me the universe but the day that I would

[7:40]make losses I would lose in my business I would turn into

[7:45]a charcoal I would be angry I would go home I yell

[7:47]at I yell at my wife and I yell at my children

[7:51]because that day I suffered a financial loss I would turn my

[7:58]house into hell because of the way that I would conduct myself

[8:02]because of my rage of my anger of the way I would

[8:05]deal with my children until one day Allah subhana wa tala guided

[8:09]me and I told myself what kind of a life are you

[8:13]living what is this life every time you want to lose some

[8:17]money you're going to go to your house and ruin your life

[8:21]and ruin your relationship with your wife and children like that now

[8:25]you're worshiping your business you're a slave to your business the bus

[8:30]business is supposed to help you right but for a lot of

[8:35]people it's the other way around you become a slave to your

[8:38]business so he said Allah subhana tala guided me I saw some

[8:44]Islamic content and lectures that changed my life and ever since I'm

[8:48]at peace the day that I gain in my business I'm thankful

[8:53]I say Ya Allah this R is from you it's an am

[8:58]in my hand I'll do my best to use it properly in

[9:00]a way that satisfies you I'm happy alhamdulillah and the day that

[9:05]I lose I go home smiling and I'm happy now I don't

[9:07]care I lost right now but I still have all these blessings

[9:11]I still have a house I still have a wife I still

[9:12]have children I still have my Iman I still have my tawa

[9:17]I go home at peace because I know that day which I

[9:24]suffered a loss you're training me Ya Allah to detach my heart

[9:26]from this D so thank you Ya Allah some times you go

[9:32]through losses in your life because Allah is training you Allah is

[9:35]your coach Allah is telling you look you have a weakness here

[9:37]this attachment to your business is not healthy let me try you

[9:43]and see I'm proving to you if you go through Allah sometimes

[9:45]it's not the end of the world you think Reach people every

[9:51]single day of their lives they make gains no said day of

[9:54]gain it's a day of loss Allah in the end will deliver

[10:01]to you after trust in him so we find this beautiful lesson

[10:04]from the legacy of lady khad even though she lived in a

[10:11]society that worshiped Idols pagans very few were on the path of

[10:16]prophet ibraim Alam she was on the path of prophet ibraim she

[10:19]would go to the Kaa and she would pray to the Lord

[10:24]of ibraim and she would ask him oh lord of ibraim you

[10:29]put the blessing in my Caravans in my business this is another

[10:35]Divine factor that put all that blessing in her wealth now another

[10:40]question here which we already know the answer to right now what

[10:43]was the religion of khad before she met the prophet and before

[10:52]the religion of Islam you find some authors some historians mistakenly accuse

[10:58]her of being an idol worshipper for instance you find some historians

[11:07]they claim that lady khad when one of her sons died or

[11:15]Alim this is after she married the prophet sallallahu alaihi these historians

[11:20]claim that she would go to the idols in Mecca and she

[11:24]would cry and she would say I lost a child I'm sad

[11:29]right now help me oh Idol without any evidence without any evidence

[11:35]you see some Egyptian authors and you know historians make this accusation

[11:41]and this is not true the historian heel he makes this accusation

[11:46]but we don't find that this is true for a number of

[11:50]reasons number one she would pray to the Lord of ibraim When

[11:54]You Believe In The Lord of ibraim you don't believe in Idols

[11:57]secondly we have historic IAL accounts that when the prophet sallallahu alaih

[12:02]would travel to do business if he would mention someone doing business

[12:08]if he would hear someone mentioning Idols like for instance alza the

[12:15]prophet would be so disappointed so upset he would not do business

[12:20]that's how detested the prophet was he would be deterred so if

[12:28]the prophet is not willing to to do business with someone who's

[12:32]going to mention the name of in the transaction you think he's

[12:38]going to live with someone who worships those idols and by the

[12:42]way this is before Islam I'm talking about because before Islam the

[12:45]prophet would travel and do business if someone would mention Al the

[12:48]prophet would not do business now you think he's going to marry

[12:53]a lady who's going to go and cry to the idol when

[12:57]her son dies that's not even possible the prophet would not live

[13:01]with someone like that so we believe firmly that lady was a

[13:06]she believed in Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala she had heard about the

[13:10]prophets and you may wonder how did she learn about Prophet ibraim

[13:14]lady khad had two sources of information and this shows you how

[13:19]educated she was and she believed in female empowerment females should be

[13:24]educated and that society when Society did not encourage females to be

[13:32]educated you find Lady Khadijah was amongst the most educated women of

[13:36]her era she had two sources of information the first one was

[13:40]her cousin or uncleb Noel have you heard ofak Noel according to

[13:48]many reports was her cousin some Reports say her uncle in any

[13:52]case Noel was a Christian monotheist he did not believe in the

[13:58]Trinity he believed in the original authentic Christianity and he had translated

[14:03]the Bible into Arabic so she would frequently go to him and

[14:09]learn about previous prophets learn about ibraim she would learn about the

[14:13]Lord of ibraim alam that was one source of of her information

[14:20]the second source of her information was Christian Scholars and Jewish rabbis

[14:27]lady Khadijah had a very important house in Mecca imagine the wealthiest

[14:32]lady in Arabia she had a very important House people would Gather

[14:40]in her house and she had a session with Scholars yes lady

[14:43]Khadijah in that era when women were treated as second class citizens

[14:47]and they did not really have an important scholarly role lady Khadijah

[14:52]would invite the scholars of her community to her house so she

[14:57]would have a gathering with Christian Scholars and Jewish Scholars and she

[15:01]would frequently learn about the T and the inil from them and

[15:07]there's a very interesting incident that happened one day the prophet sallallahu

[15:12]alaihi Al this is before Islam he passed by her house there

[15:15]was a Jewish rabbi sitting in her house in part of that

[15:21]discussion he notices the prophet so he tells khad can you call

[15:25]on this young man I want to speak to him so she

[15:31]goes outside she calls on the prophet he comes to see the

[15:32]Jewish man the Jewish rabbi asks him a number of questions then

[15:38]he looks at Khadijah he tells her look I am well-versed in

[15:45]the Torah in the Old Testament and I can tell you I

[15:48]have studied the signs of the final Prophet who would come at

[15:55]the end of times and I see all the signs of prophethood

[15:58]in this young man for instance one of the questions he asked

[16:02]the prophet he told him tell me about your family how did

[16:05]you grow up he told him I never saw my father I

[16:09]was born an orphan I lost my mother at the age of

[16:11]four and then my grandfather took care of me Abdul mutb and

[16:16]then after he passed away my uncle Abu Talib took care of

[16:18]me the Jewish man said to Khadijah it has been written in

[16:23]our scriptures Subhan Allah it has been written that the final Prophet

[16:27]will be born an orphan then his grandfather will take care of

[16:30]him then his uncle will take care of him I see all

[16:34]the signs of N and prophethood in this young man now lady

[16:39]khad when she's hearing that she's gaining more and more interest in

[16:43]this young man who is he that this Jewish rabbi is telling

[16:45]me he sees the signs he sees the signs of prophethood in

[16:49]him now the prophet sallallahu alaih is now in his early 20s

[16:56]there's a big drought in the meccan area and the fin iial

[17:00]situation of Beni Hashim becomes very bad Abu Talib was really struggling

[17:05]Abu Talib was taking care of the Prophet you know some members

[17:09]of Beni Hashim his family so Abu Talib comes to the prophet

[17:12]sallallahu alai and he gives him a suggestion he tells him oh

[17:17]Muhammad I have a suggestion for you as you see we're struggling

[17:21]financially Khadijah is known to be a noble lady and she's rich

[17:25]I recommend as a suggestion that you work with her why don't

[17:30]you do business with Khadijah the prophet contemplates the suggestion and he

[17:36]finds it a very reasonable suggestion yes why not I'll do business

[17:42]with this Noble Lady Lady Khadijah is aware that Abu Talib made

[17:49]the suggestion to his nephew Muhammad sallahu alaihi so she sends one

[17:53]of her agents she tells the agent go to Muhammad and tell

[17:58]him that I am interested in doing business with you so if

[18:01]you are interested let's start the prophet sallallahu alai meets lady khad

[18:06]and she tells him the first thing that we can do together

[18:13]is that you can take a caravan to Syria go to Sham

[18:15]the Syrian region do business on my behalf are you willing he

[18:20]said yes I'm willing to travel she says okay two things number

[18:23]one I will send two AIDS two of my servants with you

[18:28]one of them his name is m secondly I will double your

[18:35]income normally if I send someone to Syria and they do business

[18:38]I give them x amount let's say 100 Dinars I'll give you

[18:42]double that 200 deal the prophet says okay the prophet sallallahu alai

[18:50]takes the Caravan of Lady Khadijah she goes to the Kaa she

[18:53]asks Allah to put Baraka but she doesn't know what kind of

[18:58]Baraka this time Allah is going to send her the prophet sallallahu

[19:03]alai goes north to Syria he does business m is watching told

[19:07]him keep a close eye on him I want to know him

[19:12]better who is he m is shocked from what he observed so

[19:16]when the prophet sallallahu alaih returns back to Mecca M runs to

[19:23]Lady Khadijah he tells her look let me give you the report

[19:25]of what we did first of all in none of our trips

[19:31]have we made so much money this young man is so blessed

[19:33]he really made a big profit for your Caravan that's number one

[19:40]number two whenever we would travel in the desert and it's hot

[19:43]I noticed there is a cloud that would shelter him Subhan Allah

[19:49]the sun would not directly bother him in the heat of the

[19:52]day when he's traveling and the sun gets annoying and it hurts

[19:58]you there is always a a loud that would protect him and

[20:01]by the way this is one of the attributes of the Prophet

[20:07]sallallahu alaihi number three I've never seen a man as honest as

[20:10]he is I didn't find him to be materialistic he wasn't obsessed

[20:13]with making a prophet he was honest when he would be asked

[20:19]about the merchandise I never saw a man as honest as he

[20:22]was the last one that really caught the attention of mes he

[20:26]says we reached an area called busra busra is in Syria close

[20:30]to Damascus not too far he says in that Village I saw

[20:36]him sleep under a tree and then a Christian monk came looking

[20:40]at him he asked questions he was very intrigued with the appearance

[20:46]of this young man so we asked him what's the matter why

[20:52]and I see all the signs of prophethood in him in our

[20:58]Bible the last prophet has his qu qualities so it seems to

[21:01]me that he might be the final Prophet now imagine lady khadam

[21:06]is taking all this information in and that truly intrigued her now

[21:12]the prophet after doing business with her for some time and she

[21:17]has the opportunity to to know his character to know his and

[21:20]she has the opportunity to know his AK they both know knew

[21:27]the AK of one another she now was considering marriage and the

[21:30]prophet was also considering marriage the prophet is now 25 years old

[21:35]how does the marriage happened between lady Khadijah and the prophet sallallahu

[21:39]alai Al one report indicates that lady Khadijah is the one who

[21:45]initiated the marriage but she did so in a very respectful way

[21:51]in a very modest way she sent one of her friends by

[21:54]the name of nafisa she told her nafisa go to the prophet

[21:58]she goes to the prophet she tells him yeah Muhammad Khadijah sends

[22:03]her salams to you and you know basically she's very happy with

[22:07]your character as a suggestion you seem like now you know a

[22:14]full adult are you considering marriage you know it's about time that

[22:18]you find a life partner for yourself if you are considering marriage

[22:26]then Khadijah would be very suitable for you so NE made that

[22:31]suggestion indirectly telling the prophet sallallahu alai that Khadijah is willing to

[22:38]marry you the prophet told her I need to consult my uncle

[22:41]Abu Talib the prophet as great as he was he would never

[22:46]do something without the blessings of his uncle Abu Talib you think

[22:50]the prophet would put his full trust in a man who did

[22:52]not know Allah who worshiped the idols is that even possible so

[22:56]he goes to his uncle Abu Talib he tells him what what

[23:00]do you think about this idea of me marrying Khadijah Abu Talib

[23:03]told him my nephew there is no lady more noble than Khadijah

[23:07]yes I encourage you to marry her so he gets the blessings

[23:12]of his uncle and then they sent word to Lady Khadijah that

[23:14]Prophet Muhammad sallahu alai is interested so there was a preliminary agreement

[23:20]now the day came for the official proposal Abu Talib goes and

[23:28]meets her uncle according to some reports she had an uncle by

[23:32]the name ofad because her father was not alive she grew up

[23:35]an orphan her father was not alive at the time for them

[23:40]to go and propose from him so they go to her uncle

[23:42]Abu Talib goes with members of benih Hashim in a very beautiful

[23:47]way he's representing them they sit in that session and Abu Talib

[23:52]gives his famous speech it's such a beautiful speech that he gave

[23:55]at the you know engagement of the prophet sallallah he said we

[24:01]the B Hashim we come from the line of is and ibraim

[24:06]in other words know who we are and how important and significant

[24:09]we are secondly there is no man in Arabia like my nephew

[24:17]Muhammad even though he's not rich he doesn't have a lot of

[24:20]money but no one comes close to his character so Abu Talib

[24:26]was making the case don't think that my nephew is an average

[24:29]man no one is like my nephew you have to appreciate his

[24:34]qualities and then he officially proposed now her uncle responded and she

[24:39]also responded khad and her uncle they said yes we admit that

[24:47]there's no man like Muhammad and we testify to that so after

[24:50]the agreement was made Abu Talib he said now I will sponsor

[24:58]the dowy I will give the dowy of my nephew lady Khadijah

[25:01]interjects she says no cuz she was very wealthy and she did

[25:05]not want to burden Abu Talib he was already struggling financially and

[25:08]she did not want to burden the prophet she said I will

[25:11]give the Dowry meaning I'll gift the amount of money to the

[25:17]prophet then he can give it to me as a doy some

[25:20]women became very agitated they got very jealous Khadijah are you serious

[25:25]who in the world which woman gives her own dowy come on

[25:29]lady Khadijah gave a very beautiful response she says if it's a

[25:33]man like Muhammad woman would be desperate to give the doy Allah

[25:37]look at the love that she had for the prophet sallallahu alai

[25:40]according to one report the Prophet interjects this is right he has

[25:48]the ultimate honor he he tells him my uncle you already have

[25:54]many obligations so I appreciate that you want to give my dowy

[25:56]but it's okay Khadijah I really appreciate the offer but I will

[26:02]take care of my own dowy so the prophet sallallahu alaih he

[26:04]himself gave the doy to Lady Khadijah and he did not accept

[26:07]to trouble his uncle Abu Talib or to trouble lady khad with

[26:13]that and that's how they moved into that beautiful house now I

[26:17]know many of you are wondering about two questions the first one

[26:23]is we know the prophet was 25 how old was khad when

[26:25]she married the prophet historically Sunnah and even some Shia Scholars based

[26:32]on the history ofnah they have said that she was 40 and

[26:36]I'm sure when you went to Sunday school or I don't know

[26:41]whatever school that's what you were told but that is not the

[26:44]case my dear brothers and sisters we have solid evidence based on

[26:47]Research that lady khadam was not 40 years old later these reports

[26:56]surfaced okay and they were perpetuated by some wives later in Medina

[27:00]to show that Khadijah was this old lady no one was interested

[27:03]in her that is not the case lady Khadijah I will share

[27:09]with you two Sunni historians what they have said about Khadijah one

[27:14]is alal alal is a Sunni historian he says lady khadam when

[27:18]she married the prophet she was about 26 or 27 between 26

[27:24]and 27 so maybe a year or two older than the prophet

[27:30]and you heard about the famous historian Al Aly also confirms she

[27:34]was about 26 or 27 so we have here two Sunni historians

[27:41]who have given her us the age of Lady khadam and we

[27:43]have a lot of evidence also from our books from historical research

[27:47]that lady Khadijah was not 40 when the prophet sallallahu alaih married

[27:51]her this is a mistake that historians have committed in the history

[27:57]secondly was khad married before for the prophet or not if you

[28:01]look at the history of many historians they'll tell you yes she

[28:07]was married twice before the prophet one of her previous ex-husbands was

[28:15]abua andash and also another man by the name of let's Analyze

[28:18]This do do we see that the historical record actually confirms that

[28:26]she was married to these men or not I'll share with you

[28:28]the following points this is an academic discussion that we're having number

[28:32]one who are these two men these two men were no buies

[28:39]in that Society one of them was nabash a Gravedigger who had

[28:43]no religion he worship the idols nothing special has been mentioned about

[28:48]his why do you think such a noble lady who believes in

[28:51]God would marry a Gravedigger who worshiped the idols same with the

[28:58]other one from benum he wasn't also anyone who had any special

[29:02]qualities now now add to this the following the most elite men

[29:09]of qur proposed to her and she refused for instance Abu sufyan

[29:14]proposed to Khadijah she rejected him Abu jahel proposed to Khadijah she

[29:18]rejected him all those Elites of qur they rejected she rejected them

[29:23]so if she's going to reject them why why is she going

[29:27]to reject them to make to marry an idol worshiping gravedigger that

[29:30]does not even make any sense so we dispute that my dear

[29:33]brothers and sisters according to our research lady was not married before

[29:41]the prophet Sall alai and was her first husband but later these

[29:47]reports surfaced to reduce from her status because there were some wives

[29:52]later in Medina she would always exaggerate I was the youngest one

[29:59]you know I was not married before they fabricated these hadiths to

[30:03]make that wife important and make Khadijah less important that was the

[30:09]politics behind it I'm just being very open with you this is

[30:11]the research here otherwise lady Khadijah was not married before the prophet

[30:15]sallallahu alai so these are two quick points about the marriage of

[30:23]lady khad she marries imagine that beautiful house imagine the Prophet with

[30:29]the best AK marrying this great lady and Lady Khadijah was very

[30:34]charitable she was so generous history tells us no one knocked out

[30:38]at her house except that she gave them she wouldn't reject anyone

[30:43]she would not ask him questions are you really poor are you

[30:47]struggling anyone who comes to the door of Khadijah lady khadam would

[30:51]help them out one day comes you all know Hala she's the

[30:56]one who nursed the prophet when he was young and took care

[30:58]of him she came to the house of khad and she said

[31:03]I am struggling there is a famine there's a drought in our

[31:05]village and basically if there's some assistance the prophet sallallahu alai told

[31:11]Khadijah Khadijah you are a generous lady I know you're going to

[31:14]give her but let me tell you Hala has a right over

[31:18]me Hala raised me lady Khadijah in honor of her husband she

[31:23]took out 40 camels and sheep a camel one single camel was

[31:29]very expensive at the time brothers and sisters even today a camel

[31:32]could be several thousand she gave 40 camel and sheep just to

[31:42]show that generosity and to honor that's the spirit of generosity that

[31:46]you found in this beautiful home 5 years after their marriage guess

[31:54]who moves in with them is born the the prophet sallallahu alaih

[32:00]goes to Abu Talib he tells him Abu Talib didn't you raise

[32:04]me and spend on me and now financially you're struggling and you

[32:07]have your own children to take care of I would like to

[32:11]pay you back this son of yours Ali let me take care

[32:13]of him and raise him so goes into the house of and

[32:21]and IMI actually grows up in the house of Khadijah Khadijah was

[32:26]like his mother that's the beauty of this house these three individuals

[32:30]the prophet lady and young now the prophet had a beautiful habit

[32:37]before Islam he would take young Ali to they would go to

[32:43]the cave and they would meditate and it's such a peaceful place

[32:46]once in my lifetime in the late 1990s during my first Hajj

[32:51]I had the honor of climbing Mount and it was such a

[32:54]spiritual experience I cannot describe to you how it felt now now

[33:00]back then when you would go in in the cave of you

[33:01]could directly see the KA Allah have you tried it it's an

[33:10]amazing spiritual experience and I thought Subhan Allah the prophet would come

[33:14]here and he would see the Kaa you could actually pray to

[33:16]Allah by facing the Kaa from there but now you know Mecca

[33:22]masallah has become like New York and Las Vegas with all these

[33:25]skyscrapers they've blocked the view so now if you go to you

[33:30]can't see the anymore all you see is the clock towers so

[33:33]the prophet had this beautiful habit where he would go to and

[33:39]he would take young Ali with him and sometimes he would spend

[33:42]days and days worshiping Allah and meditating there guess who would bring

[33:47]him the food and the water lady every day imagine this lady

[33:54]how much love and sacrifice she had for the prophet she would

[33:57]climb up this mountain it's not an easy climb I mean if

[34:01]you're climbing it every day that requires a lot of effort she

[34:03]would take the water and food to remember I want everyone to

[34:11]remember early on even before Islam how Lady Khadijah served and then

[34:16]finally the the Revelation comes down on the prophet s and Lady

[34:22]becomes the first lady and the first adult to believe in the

[34:29]prophet sallallahu alai and she stood by his side now when lady

[34:35]Khadijah becomes Muslim and she supports the prophet a very painful chapter

[34:41]opens in her life before Islam lady Khadijah was the most respected

[34:48]lady in Mecca all the women wanted to be her friends she

[34:54]socially had a very important figure but when the prophet Al declares

[34:59]Islam and the mechans boycott the prophet and they harass the prophet

[35:03]and they fight the prophet all the woman of quray they boycott

[35:08]khad they cut ties with her they start attacking her oh you

[35:14]married The A Team of qur you married this orphan what is

[35:16]this religion and this created a lot of pain for lady Khadijah

[35:22]to see her husband harassed like that despite his beautiful history in

[35:27]Mecca how can his own people do that to him Subhan Allah

[35:32]those people those Muslims who always focus on some of these other

[35:36]wives in Medina and don't remember Khadijah and they think other wives

[35:40]were better than Khadijah how can you compare between these two and

[35:46]you be the judge brothers and sisters a lady who sacrificed everything

[35:50]because of Islam and she lost everything because of Islam can you

[35:53]compare her with a lady who gained everything because she became the

[35:57]wife of the prophet those ladies who married the prophet in Medina

[36:01]right they gained status because now she became the wife of that

[36:06]made her be important in the society what did she sacrifice just

[36:09]tell me brothers and sisters tell me some of those ladies in

[36:12]Medina tell me one day they sacrifice something for the prophet what

[36:16]did they give what did they do for the prophet sallallahu alai

[36:19]others and but this is KH who lost her wealth because of

[36:28]Islam she lost her social status because of Islam she lost her

[36:31]friends because of Islam you want to compare her with some lady

[36:33]who came and created headaches for the prophet later wah you have

[36:37]to stay on the day of J judgment before Allah subhana wa

[36:42]tala you have to stand and you have to be answerable to

[36:44]these type of judgments that you make this is an insult to

[36:49]the prophet sallallahu alai how can you compare anyone to and he

[36:54]himself the prophet said this is in Sunni Hadith the best of

[36:59]women in my um are FAA and Khadijah and he said the

[37:01]best four women in history are assia the wife of the Pharaoh

[37:09]alad the daughter of and Fa Muhammad s alai but lady Khadijah

[37:18]went through a very painful chapter and years after Islam Allah blesses

[37:23]lady Khadijah with fa imagine lady Khadijah now raising FAA in her

[37:28]own house and Fatima gave so much strength to her mother despite

[37:34]her young age she inspired her mother and she gave her so

[37:38]much strength to deal with these difficulties now three years in Mecca

[38:11]those early Muslims survive and without them they would have starved to

[38:14]death make no mistake because this was the plan of qur let's

[38:25]on the wealth of Khadijah this is not an exaggeration this this

[38:28]is our history my dear brothers and sisters she spent all of

[38:32]her wealth all of her wealth such that she herself during those

[38:38]three years she almost starved to death and that's what made her

[38:43]sick Khadijah did not last long after the sh of Abu Tali

[38:48]because years of hunger took a toll on her body imagine you're

[38:52]the wealthiest woman in Arabia but for Allah foro you'll give everything

[38:58]that's pure sacrifice this is love that you've never seen in history

[39:03]you want Hollywood and these singers to teach you about love where

[39:05]are you living you want to see love come to and see

[39:10]how much she loved and how much Allah and loved khad one

[39:19]day the prophet sallallahu alai he goes on the hill of by

[39:24]and he gathers the mechans and he tells them say and you'll

[39:34]be successful they came they told him you are asking us to

[39:39]stop worshiping our Idols how dare you do that Abu Jah takes

[39:42]a rock and he throws it on the prophet it lands on

[39:47]his blessed face and it causes an injury and the prophet begins

[39:55]to protect his life he ret retreats to a nearby Mountain the

[39:59]prophet is now hungry thirsty he's bleeding in that moment jbra descends

[40:05]upon the prophet he tells him y Allah your wife Khadijah is

[40:13]worried about you she's in The Valleys of Mecca crying and because

[40:17]she's crying she made the angels of the universe cry Allah go

[40:23]and find khad and comfort her the prophet goes and he finds

[40:28]khad and then they go to the house you know what these

[40:32]evil mus do they come to the house of Khadijah they take

[40:37]the rocks and they start to Stone the prophet lady she protects

[40:42]the prophet with her body she protects him and then she tells

[40:45]them shame on you I a free woman you throw stones at

[40:54]me in my house are you even men do you have no

[40:58]shame so they felt ashamed and they stopped stoning the prophet sallallahu

[41:03]alai this was khad she was willing to take shots in order

[41:06]to protect the life of one I'll share I'll conclude with two

[41:12]hadiths my dear brothers and sisters one from our sources from one

[41:18]from bukari the one from our sources when the prophet sallallah alai

[42:23]inkari a Hadith in bukari mentions that once JC on the prophet

[42:29]and Lady Khadijah Was preparing food for the prophet in a trade

[42:32]told the prophet you see Khadijah who's carrying the tray of food

[42:39]to you give her my Salam and the Salam of Allah and

[42:41]tell her that she has a house in heaven waiting for her

[42:46]this is in bukari that's lady khad that's the greatness of this

[42:54]woman and by the way Allah tala compensated her for her wealth

[42:57]when she donated it through the land of fed when Allah subhana

[43:06]Allah subhana tala revealed to the prophet through JB that Khadijah gave

[43:10]all her money and you were poor at the time you couldn't

[43:12]pay her back now the only one who inherits Khadijah is who

[43:18]F she was her only surviving inheritor so give the land of
