[7:25]messenger of Allah Do you mean their fathers who are polytheists and

[7:30]non-believers, non-Muslims?

[7:32]He replied, no rather their fathers who are believers, the parents who

[7:39]are believers is in a way threatening or saying a negative statement

[7:44]showing the situation at the end of times how it will be

[7:50]from the religious Muslim parents toward their children.

[7:55]He said they do not teach them anything of the obligatory duties

[7:58]and if their children attempt to learn they prevent them and they

[8:40]and they are making good number of money the parents will feel

[8:47]That's it.

[8:46]They are now successful.

[8:49]They don't need to ask about their religious side or for example

[8:53]their Islamic in a way seeking knowledge to please Allahh and to

[8:59]maintain that their afterlife inshallah it will be successful like this life.

[9:04]So what the prophet meant that the parents will prioritize the world

[9:11]this world over the afterlife or the different fields that sometimes it

[9:17]become a distraction from the real knowledge.

[9:20]I'm not saying I'm not trying to compare the Islamic knowledge with

[9:24]the other uh knowledge that we have on planet whether science or

[9:31]math.

[9:31]They are all blessed and they are all invented and made by

[9:35]the same lord Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

[9:36]But in a way that we have to build that balance between

[9:39]these different fields so we can maintain at least that our children

[9:48]are pleasing Allah subhanaa thamad because the prophet subhan Allah he said

[9:55]by Allah he made an oath that any generation especially youth he

[10:02]said that when I see that generation prioritizing the afterlife they will

[10:07]be successful in this life and the afterlife and then the prophet

[10:10]continued saying by Allah I didn't see a generation concentrating on this

[10:15]life and they were able to succeed whether here or there yes

[10:20]Islam want us to build the balance between this life and the

[10:25]afterlife by saying give us in this in this worldly life and

[10:31]and give us a after life we have to build the balance

[10:36]But he meant the prophet by this hadith that the parents will

[10:40]in a way will be distracted that they want to maintain a

[10:45]strong financial life for their children and the parents will not care

[10:48]about the afterlife of their children.

[10:51]Subhan Allah.

[10:53]We witness some parents sometimes it's very sad that when their I

[10:57]know personal stories that their children for example request going to dua

[11:02]Thursday nights or going to certain maj it's it's very sad what's

[11:10]going on with some individuals but let me go back to the

[11:12]family I believe that the Mahawi family is revolving around one one

[11:19]verse in the Quran which is the verse of marriage itself Allahhanaa

[11:33]In this verse, we were able to extract seven points that the

[11:37]family has to have for them to be able to please the

[11:42]heart of the imam of our time.

[11:43]One, that family has to have one soul, one purpose, spiritual unity

[11:48]within the mother, father and the children.

[11:51]Second, the Madawi family feels spiritually connected to the prophet and the

[11:56]pure progeny.

[11:55]Three, the Mahawi family reflects on Allah's power, majesty, and beauty in

[12:00]their marriage and children.

[12:01]Four, the Mahu family is united in values, beliefs, rituals, and identity

[12:06]guided by the Quran and the five, they have ma at home,

[12:15]practical love free from jealousy.

[12:16]Six, they teach each other with mercy, forgiveness, contentment and em emotional

[12:22]grace.

[12:23]And seven, they know their reputation is one.

[12:24]They are garments for you and you are garments for them as

[12:30]Allahh said in that verse.

[12:33]Now when it comes to one purpose, one soul, the spiritual unity

[12:40]inside the Mahi family which comes number one, Allahh always in the

[12:44]Quran he said that he created us from a single soul.

[12:49]He said inah verse one he created you from a single soul

[12:51]and from it he created its mate.

[12:54]In the verse of marriage itself, he said among the signs that

[13:03]he created for you another self still speaking about that one self.

[13:07]So when it comes to that au family sees itself not as

[13:13]separate individuals living under one roof but as a united soul divided

[13:18]into parts created by Allah to journey together inshallah to please him

[13:22]and to seek closeness to him.

[13:23]So the parents you are a mean you as children we are

[13:27]as children to our parents we are a mean for them to

[13:32]become closer to Allah and for me my parents also as a

[13:35]mean to bring me closer to the same lord Allah subhana tala.

[13:40]Now I imam when he spoke about women to men in marriage

[13:44]he said women are a trust from Allah do not harm them

[13:49]and do not make their life difficult for they are a part

[13:55]of you and you are a part of them as if I'm

[13:58]a self minus with my spouse I will become a complete self

[14:01]and vice versa that's why unfortunately negative feminism will teach our females

[14:07]that as if males and females They compete with one another.

[14:12]We believe we complete each other.

[14:14]We don't compete against each other and that's very unfortunate way that

[14:19]that's why the society somehow is corrupted out there.

[14:22]There is no jealousy between males and females.

[14:24]Everyone has to complete and fill a gap and they have to

[14:31]hold accountable for their fields in under the eye and the supervision

[14:34]of Allah subhanana wa ta'ala.

[14:35]Imam Sadd said the believer's wife is a blessing from Allah.

[14:39]He created her for his own soul so that she may be

[14:45]a comfort to him and her and he to her.

[14:47]So they comfort each other spiritually, mentally, psychologically and so on.

[14:52]That's why we call them healers.

[14:54]Also, Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said when a man marries

[14:56]he has completed half of his faith.

[14:58]So let him fear Allah in the other half.

[15:01]And we all know that im for example talking about shared responsibilities

[15:05]within the family he said the house in which husband and wife

[15:09]cooperate forgive and support each other become a place where angels visits

[15:18]and shin fle fleas.

[15:18]Subhan Allah.

[15:19]So from one soul to one purpose this unity is not just

[15:25]emotional psychological it drives the family goals language values and destiny.

[15:29]So in a mi family the father leads with love not dominance.

[15:33]The mother nurture with vision not reaction.

[15:37]And the children reflect the spirituality of spirituality of the home not

[15:44]just rules as we say.

[15:44]Now this is the main core the way you view the family.

[15:51]So when you look at the mother father children you feel that

[15:54]they are just one one being one soul.

[15:58]Second, the Madawa family feel spiritually connected to the prophet and his

[16:04]pure progeny.

[16:05]Why I made this connection?

[16:06]Don't we have verses in the Quran saying that?

[16:14]So the prophet has a higher spiritual authority over us.

[16:20]So if the mad family is connected, if the prophet had that

[16:24]spiritual authority over that family, then naturally the entire family will feel

[16:30]connected to the same source which which is the prophet.

[16:34]The mean, the tool, the vehicle that will drive us closer to

[16:38]Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

[16:39]Inah verse 6 Allahh said the prophet is closer to the believers

[16:44]than their own selves.

[16:45]Now own selves my in now the entire mah family is one

[16:51]self the prophet is closer to that family more than it's close

[16:56]to itself now the guidance the light of the prophet is attracting

[17:00]that family closer to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala so in the mi

[17:03]family mi home the prophet Muhammad is not distant historical figure prophet

[17:09]is the center of their emotional identity the model of their family

[17:13]structure and the soul of their collective spiritual being.

[17:19]At least we mentioned salawat at home.

[17:27]Allah said again means more deserving of obedience, more worthy of love,

[17:38]more entitled to decision making in our lives.

[17:41]Now, subhan Allah, the more the wife and the husband, they love

[17:46]Allah and the more the children love Allah, the more they are

[17:48]closer to each other.

[17:51]I think you saw that triangle shape where the wife and the

[17:53]husband and there is Allah at the top of that triangle and

[17:56]the more they are closer to Allah, both of them, the more

[17:59]they are closer to each other.

[18:00]The same thing with the children.

[18:03]The more the entire family close to Allah, the more they are

[18:06]connected together and the more we are closer to the prophet and

[18:09]his teachings and his guidance, the more we are closer to each

[18:13]other.

[18:14]So now for example, if the husband said something that the prophet

[18:18]disagree with and the wife brought a hadith from the prophet telling

[18:20]him that based on this hadith what you're doing is wrong, he

[18:24]must obey because at the end the prophet has a higher authority

[18:29]over the entire family.

[18:30]So now the wife can use the prophet to defend herself over

[18:34]unfortunately disobedient husband or the irresponsible husband or unfortunately the arrogant husband

[18:42]and so on and so forth.

[18:43]Sorry I gave the example from the husband's side but also vice

[18:49]versa the opposite is also true.

[18:51]The husband can bring a hadith from say the fatim and tell

[18:55]her wife that Fatima is displeased with this.

[18:58]So at the end she feels that it's not personal anymore.

[19:03]So it's not that the husband directly he's ordering her to do

[19:53]children knows their profit.

[19:54]How nice is the family when you have children?

[19:59]I always request that as a practical way to connect with purpose,

[20:03]quality time as we call it.

[20:05]Why we don't have enough families now despite the age of your

[20:08]children whether they are uh three years old or they are 30

[20:13]years old.

[20:15]You gather them whether Thursday nights da and a story the more

[20:17]they grow and it's harded to connect them.

[20:20]Bring them at least once a week.

[20:22]Now the best to start once a day like when they go

[20:26]to school you come back around afternoon after they finish their homework

[20:29]before sleeping in an hour you gather as a family and you

[20:31]start every day you speak about one of the prophets bring his

[20:38]story uh derive some practical lessons check what they understood from this

[20:43]or that imagine every day 40 minutes how much you can do

[20:46]after years I think the home will become an Islamic seminary Right?

[20:51]If every day 40 minutes and the father is giving one lesson

[20:54]every single day for 10 years for example 10 * 365 3,650

[21:01]days 3,650 lessons how much you can teach now or you can

[21:10]start with uh one verse of the Quran the Quran 6236 verses

[21:15]two verses a day and in 10 years you finish for the

[21:18]entire Quran with your family it requires consistency.

[21:21]But if my daughter upstairs checking her phone, scrolling over Tik Tok,

[21:27]the other one watching, I don't know what the heaven is.

[21:32]He's watching in his room and and someone is doing something else.

[21:35]I we need quality time.

[21:36]We need unity.

[21:39]So connection within the family, education, love, it's all in one.

[21:44]It's hitting more than as we say one bird hitting one sorry

[21:50]hitting more than one bird in one stone as we say.

[21:52]So the prophet said none of you truly believes until I am

[21:56]more beloved to him than his soul his parents and his children.

[21:58]So now the family they all love the prophet we said that

[22:04]that oneself it has to connect the prophet as with family.

[22:06]So now we all love the prophet more than anyone else inside

[22:11]the house and that's when the family will become spiritually connected.

[22:15]Imam Rada said whoever remembers us in their home and teaches their

[22:19]children our path their homes become a garden from the gardens of

[22:25]paradise.

[22:25]Yesh God witnessed that always I used to say that without hearing

[22:30]this hadith that Allahh expecting from me and you to build paradise

[22:33]on earth before we see it afterlife and if you can't change

[22:38]the entire society at least change your house at least a successful

[22:44]community will start from successful families trust me with that so now

[22:51]we beg you to try as much as you can to strengthen

[22:54]the bond and the foundation within the families so the community can

[22:58]become stronger.

[22:57]Now yes, after we fix our families, we can fix our community

[23:04]and that's it.

[23:03]If we're able to build a community, if we died, Immi will

[23:08]consider us every single member in this community as a supporter and

[23:14]companion of him inshallah.

[23:15]Now three, the Mi family reflects on Allah's power, majesty and beauty

[23:22]in their marriage and children.

[23:24]Allahh said in the verse of marriage among his signs that he

[23:27]created for you another self so you can do sakina in that

[23:32]self and he made between you love and mercy.

[23:34]Now was interesting in the verse of marriage that when he said

[23:39]ma right love in Arabic language we have a 20 words that

[23:42]subhan allah describe different levels of love.

[23:45]Now when it comes to ma, ma is the practical love, not

[23:52]the verbal emotional love.

[23:52]Now when we say hob in Arabic, hob is attraction.

[23:57]Ma is a practical love.

[23:59]You love with action, with effort, in practice.

[24:04]Subhan Allah.

[24:03]If you look in the Quran, the word ma was used in

[24:09]three different places.

[24:09]in marriage in house in family with believers and because the prophet

[24:19]he didn't request any any price for his message right I did

[24:23]not ask I didn't ask you for any worldly gains except ma

[24:28]in my pure progeny so if Allah is asking ma in marriage

[24:32]meaning that the entire family has to do toward practically love.

[24:40]When the wife, the husband and the children, they are all concentrating

[24:45]their life to please the hearts of the B, that family will

[24:51]become connected with purpose.

[24:52]As we said before, now a Madi family sees marriage and children

[24:55]not as ordinary life stages, but as a manifestations of God's creative

[25:02]power and divine will.

[25:03]They reflect on Allah not only in prayer or dua but in

[25:09]everyday family life.

[25:11]Let me explain this.

[25:11]Allah in the verse of marriage he said among his signs is

[25:13]marriage.

[25:15]True.

[25:15]Truly there's a miracle happening inside this marriage.

[25:18]The miracle is the children.

[25:21]Now it's normalized because we see it in biology in science.

[25:26]thousands or ten hundreds of thousands of people they are giving birth

[25:34]might every single week or month true so when it comes to

[25:38]that I think every second we have two newborn babies in the

[25:43]world uh now despite that it's normalized but imagine we have Adam

[25:47]and Eve landed on earth and they know nothing about marriage pregnancy

[25:51]and delivery and they have no one before them that they witnessed

[25:55]them marrying and giving birth.

[25:57]Now after they marry and they don't know that there's a child

[26:03]is forming in the womb of the mother they will freak out

[26:06]when she start feeling there's something moving inside her now because this

[26:11]is the miracle of life marriage is the miracle of life from

[26:13]liquid Allah creates life.

[26:16]Now when it comes to that if the husband and the wife

[26:20]after they they have the first child that child will make them

[26:26]witness God's power and God's majesty then naturally they will become closer

[26:29]to him because they witnessed a miracle with their own eyes and

[26:34]it proves the purpose behind creation.

[26:37]It's not coincidence that Allah subhana ta formed a perfect body for

[26:41]the male and a perfect body for a female to hold, deliver

[26:44]and nurse a child.

[26:47]That's a miracle happening inside that house.

[26:50]Now when we raise our children that you are a miracle, you

[26:54]you you being born raised, you're a miracle walking, then that family

[27:00]every day when they look at each other, they are witnessing God's

[27:03]what?

[27:04]power.

[27:05]When they look in the mirror, they will see God's power now.

[27:09]They will not think about the eye now.

[27:11]The way they view the realm will be different.

[27:13]When they look at anything, they ponder and reflect on God's beauty

[27:17]and majesty.

[27:18]That's how Allah want the mai family to be.

[27:22]Now, that's why he said among a sign, the framing teaches us

[27:25]marriage is not a contract.

[27:28]It's a divine sign.

[27:29]Children are not just biological results.

[27:31]They are miracles of creation.

[27:33]And the family is a living canvas upon which Allah's names manifests.

[27:40]Prophet Muhammad said when a man marries he has safeguarded half of

[27:47]his religion.

[27:45]Again also half of his doubts will be removed just because of

[27:54]what?

[27:55]Of marriage.

[27:53]Now uh connect connecting that to Imam we see divine meaning in

[27:58]relationships raised children to see beyond this duny.

[28:02]IM Saddic said, "The one who reflects and sees God's sign in

[28:05]everything will never be heedless of the Imam of his time." When

[28:13]you see Allah everywhere, you will always have insight toward the imam

[28:19]of your time.

[28:19]For the Mahawi family is united in values, beliefs, rituals, and identity

[28:25]guided by the Quran and Allah.

[28:27]when he said he placed between you love and mercy indeed this

[28:34]nation is one nation that's why your parents they fear for you

[28:39]they have concerns about you they care for you when I realize

[28:44]that the truth without exaggeration without being biased the truth is with

[29:21]That's one of the major challenges when your parents migrated to the

[29:28]because they fear for you.

[29:30]They want to see you trying putting effort to learn your religion

[29:36]and to grow spiritually and to grow morally.

[29:37]And your parents want you to become better than them.

[29:41]If I was 14, crazy years old teenager dude doing crazy stuff

[29:46]in high school.

[29:48]Definitely when I raise a child and he become 14, I don't

[29:50]want my child to repeat the same mistakes.

[29:55]I want to make sure that my child is better than me

[29:59]in every age.

[29:59]How about parents seeing their children deviating, shifting, falling away from the

[30:07]principles of the Quran and the guidelines of the so family is

[30:15]not merely a group of people related by blood.

[30:21]Eat, drink, learn, sleep, you know, rules.

[30:24]It's a divine aligned unit.

[30:26]They have to be synchronized in belief, identity, practice and purpose.

[30:33]What unites them is not age, personality or interests.

[30:35]Oh, this child look like his father.

[30:39]Oh, this daughter look like her father.

[30:42]It's not about how you look like.

[30:44]We have to see if the soul look the same uh or

[30:48]interests but assured loyalty to the Quran the the B and the

[30:52]So we know that the principles of faith that when we have

[30:59]one God together one message together one Quran together one prophet together

[31:05]one path to succession which are the together and one present Imam

[31:09]which is Imam of our time imi.

[31:11]I like sometimes when parents if the child did something wrong it's

[31:16]the best way is you are free there's afterlife there's imam of

[31:23]time watching you the prophet is watching you and Allah is all

[31:27]seeing all hearing put effort and please him at the end we

[31:32]will all stand everyone alone on judgment day it's very interesting for

[31:35]a mother to tell her daughter sometimes that me and you on

[31:38]judgment day we will have the same age and by the way

[31:43]biologically will not be related there because everyone will stand before Allah

[31:47]on judgment day alone.

[31:47]Me, my mother, grandmother, great-grandmother will be the same age there.

[33:10]day is the fathers what mothers are doing it's all recommended in

[33:15]that sense and the son you will be questioned for him in

[33:19]the first 21 years after 21 you leave him to himself but

[34:04]And the mother will be standing sidelines being rewarded by Allah.

[34:07]And the males will be questioned for every single detail about the

[34:13]house.

[34:11]But let me say that on the side when the Allah gave

[34:15]authority for the father, it's not dictatorship or the mother cannot lead.

[34:19]Allah didn't mean that.

[34:22]But juspedentially Allah gave authority for the father because he will be

[34:25]questioned on judgment day.

[34:26]The mother has to be behind him pushing him forward, healing him,

[34:30]helping him, covering his back, trying to give him a different perspective

[34:35]about things, using her emotional intelligence to mix it with his logical

[34:40]intelligence so they can build a strong family together.

[34:44]But he must take the final decision, not because Allah is preferring

[34:48]males over the females, but because he will be questioned on judgment

[34:51]day.

[34:51]As simple as this.

[34:53]If the mother took the final decision, she will be questioned and

[34:57]she will not be able to bear that on judgment day.

[36:01]please the heart of the imam of our time.

[36:08]said this is love has to serves quietly supports fully hopes for

[36:16]the success of the other endures hardships without resentment forgives uplift and

[36:21]sacrifice.

[36:28]Finally, they treat each other with mercy, forgiveness, contentment, and emotional grace.

[36:35]Please listen to this point.

[36:37]Then we move to the tragedy of Alas.

[36:39]The family has to prioritize their relationship together revolving around two words,

[36:46]love and mercy.

[36:49]There is no pure justice in marriage and family.

[36:51]There is love and mercy.

[36:53]And one of the manifestations of mercy that they forgive they contain.

[37:00]One practical solution for all the majority of the family issues do

[37:04]not take anything personal inside the house.

[37:07]When your father, God forbid, he raises his voice on you.

[37:12]When your mother, she treats you somehow strictly even though Islam is

[37:17]But never take anything personal.

[38:31]You have to always prioritize your parents and your siblings over anyone

[38:35]else because there's priorities in life.

[38:36]Prophet Muhammad said be merciful to those on the earth and the

[38:41]one above the heavens will be merciful on you.

[38:44]Imam Ali said the most honorable of people are those who forgive

[38:47]when they have the power to punish.

[38:48]So when it comes to that the family has to act with

[38:53]each other with mercy containing your sibling containing your parents and so

[38:56]on and so forth.

[38:56]Trust me, the mercy that your parents gave you when you were

[39:02]young, it's equal.

[39:02]If you want to just weight that mercy, it's equal.

[39:06]You paying them back mercy for thousands of years.

[39:10]Just the first six, seven years of their life.

[39:11]When you have a child and majority of you they have, you

[39:15]can know that.

[39:17]Um, now, subhan Allah, when it comes to the family in Kbala,

[39:19]they treated each other with mercy.

[39:22]Imam Hussein would never give permission to Al Kasim the orphan to

[39:29]go to the battlefield.

[39:32]Al Kasim showed his uncle Hussein that he has maturity to understand

[39:36]what death is, what afterlife is.

[39:38]And al- Kazim proved to his to his uncle Hussein that he

[39:41]knew that Kabala is everlasting story that will lead to the success

[39:47]of God's movement on earth until the imam rise and fill earth

[39:49]of justice and iniquity after it was filled in justice and tyranny.

[39:52]Al- Kasim knew that and he was begging his uncle kissing his

[39:58]hand trying more than one time until uncle Hussein he truly agreed

[40:04]to give him that permission.

[40:08]But not before dressing him himself.

[40:11]So now al Hussein is preparing al kasim.

[40:14]He brought a shirt shaped like a burial shroud and he wrapped

[40:21]it upon Kasum.

[40:23]He took the turban of Im Hassan himself.

[40:26]Kasam's father unwrapped it on his young head, letting down the two

[42:46]word this would be her final embrace.

[42:49]She told him, "Oh my son, tell your father Al Hassan.

[42:53]I send him my peace." As if Alasim told his mother, "Oh

[43:01]mother, hear my final flea.

[43:05]If you ever see young men free, then remember my youth taken

[43:09]from me, deprived of air, of joy, of light.

[43:14]While all my friends had one last night, I thirst, oh mother,

[43:21]by the river near.

[44:11]While fighting the strap of his left sandal broke, Kasim bent down

[44:17]to fix it and bothered by the swords as if the battlefield

[44:28]the wretched day struck.

[45:16]Imam Hussein sat at his head and whispered, "May Allah curse the

[45:24]people who killed you.

[45:24]Your grandfather will be their opponent on judgment day.

[45:30]It breaks your uncle heart or cause him that you call out

[45:35]to him and he cannot answer or he answers but cannot help

[45:41]or helps but cannot save you.

[45:43]This is a day he cried when my enemies are many and

[45:50]my helpers are few.

[45:51]Is gone.

[45:53]Killed Oab.

[45:55]Oh my sister, Kasim is gone.

[48:46]afterlife.

[48:47]Ya Allah [Music] Oh Allah, he send the appearance of our im

[49:07]and make us all among his dedicated and sincere servants.

[49:11]Oh Allah, oh Allah, shower your infinite mercy, forgiveness and blessings on

[49:18]all who are present for the majalis of Imam Hussein.

[49:23]Oh Allah also shower your mercy on our deceased especially the deceased

[49:30]of the ones who passed away from this community and all communities.

[49:34]Oh Allah also the souls of the scholars and the martyrs and

[49:40]the innocent.
