This is a series of lectures given by Hamam Nassereddine throughout the month of Ramadan; the lectures shed light on verses of Surat Shu3araa’, which is one of the first chapters that descended upon the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him and his family). The chapter speaks about several Prophets and what took place between them and their people; amongst those Prophets are the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him and his family), Prophets Noah, Abraham, Moses, Hud, Saleh and others (peace be upon them all).

[0:28][Music] foreign oh i'll be and sisters in our last lecture we
[2:06]mentioned important issues regarding the role of the intellect and what role
[2:15]it plays when guiding us or in guiding us to allah's religion
[2:20]subhanahu wata'ala up until now we've confirmed that the intellect does play
[2:26]a vital role in guiding us to allah's religion and making us
[2:33]understand his religion however we've also confirmed that the intellect is limited
[2:40]hence due to its limits it's unable to uncover all pieces of
[2:52]knowledge regarding allah's religion for there are certain beliefs that the intellect
[2:59]cannot confirm without the use of the quran and arahimus similarly there
[3:05]are plenty of islamic laws in fact we said most islamic laws
[3:13]cannot be determined by the intellect unless we do what it cannot
[3:18]be determined by the intellect if we use it on its own
[3:21]hence we have to refer to al-quran we also mentioned that based
[3:33]on verse 19 of surat al-imran in which allah says islam surely
[3:40]the religion with allah is islam based on this verse we come
[3:46]to the conclusion that all prophets shared the same religion and believed
[3:52]in the same religion and followed the same path they were calling
[3:57]their people to one path which brought us to a question if
[4:02]this is true then why would certain prophets present certain teachings that
[4:12]other prophets alaihimus salaam contradicted so we had certain teachings presented by
[4:19]certain prophets and we had other teachings contradicting [Music] the teachings of
[4:25]the first prophets and those teachings were also taught by prophets why
[4:31]would this happen here we said we have to look at religion
[4:36]if we want to understand why this took place we need to
[4:41]look carefully at religion and understand what is religion religion is a
[4:48]set of beliefs laws and morals when looking at beliefs and morals
[4:52]we said no prophet differs with another prophet all of them all
[5:00]of them agree in beliefs and morals so where do they differ
[5:04]they differ in laws there were certain laws taught by certain prophets
[5:11]like musa and other laws taught by other prophets like muhammad s
[5:23]laws contradicted each other for example we said there were certain actions
[5:28]that were lawful in the set of laws of musa alaihissalam such
[5:36]as performing psalmist fasting by remaining silent whereas those same actions were
[5:44]unlawful in the set of laws of muhammad then again there were
[5:52]certain actions that were unlawful in the set of laws of musa
[5:55]but made lawful in the set of laws of muhammad why would
[6:01]there be a difference this is where we stopped hence we start
[6:05]our new lecture by answering this important question why would there be
[6:14]a difference in the sets of laws descended by god subhanallah that
[6:20]a deed that was lawful in a particular set of laws might
[6:25]be unlawful in another set of laws and vice versa the answer
[6:33]is allah brings down the set of laws the divine set of
[6:46]laws in favor of mankind to lead mankind to their benefits and
[6:50]to protect them from what from harm knowing that human beings went
[7:00]through different stages in history knowing that they went through different stages
[7:06]in history we understand that the needs of human beings differed from
[7:13]time to time because their needs differed allah would do what every
[7:19]once in a while would bring down a new set of laws
[7:26]that contained some modifications that contained some differences when compared to the
[7:34]previous set of laws so in short what we're trying to say
[7:42]is allah subhanahu wa would change certain laws for the sake of
[7:47]mankind because ultimately the laws of god revolve around who around the
[7:53]around mankind allah wants to lead us to benefit and to protect
[7:58]us from harm by doing what by prescribing those laws here i
[8:09]recall an example or an analogy that is one of our great
[8:22]scholars who explained the book for allah is a beautiful masterpiece regarding
[8:31]shia beliefs written by the erudite in that book explaining the statements
[8:42]of regarding our beliefs mentioned this issue the issue of allah's sets
[8:53]of laws and how allah brought down different so he said he
[9:00]said think of a person who's sick sing think of a sick
[9:09]human being when someone is sick depending on his sickness the treatment
[9:16]he receives will differ if the sickness is very severe then that
[9:23]person will need a severe treatment or a severe medicine that treatment
[9:30]might be so severe if a normal individual if someone who's not
[9:36]sick got the same treatment or consumed the same medicine he might
[9:42]get harmed or might even die then again if someone's sickness is
[9:47]light it's not a severe sickness it's a light sickness his treatment
[9:55]and or medicine will also be what will be light it will
[10:00]be a light treatment or a light medicine so we find that
[10:05]the treatment and the medicine will differ depending on what depending on
[10:08]the person's sickness the same applies to what the same applies to
[10:17]human beings allah subhanahu wa tahana would change the laws that he
[10:23]previously descended to a certain extent he wouldn't change all laws as
[10:28]i told her yesterday there were certain laws that existed in all
[10:32]such as the forbiddens of wine however allah azza would change some
[10:37]laws why because human beings would change and would be in need
[10:46]of a new law this took place until allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
[10:51]brought down what until allah brought down the final set of laws
[10:57]the most complete and the final set of laws the set of
[11:00]laws of muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam when allah brought down that set
[11:07]of laws allah decreed that people will have to follow that set
[11:11]of laws from the time of rasulallah until the day of judgment
[11:18]so after hearing this after hearing this short explanation we understand that
[11:25]ultimately prophets didn't contradict each other peace be upon them rather each
[11:31]one was doing his job by teaching the people the laws that
[11:37]allah had descended upon him secondly all of them all of the
[11:43]prophets called people to do what to submit to submit to allah's
[11:52]commands subhana so even if if musa laws that muhammad didn't teach
[11:58]and vice versa this doesn't mean that they were contradicting each other
[12:05]ultimately their one team who work who works for the same god
[12:11]so if they work for the same god it means their religion
[12:16]is the same in the login islam surely the religion with allah
[12:22]is islam in fact when we look at their biographies you find
[12:30]a lot of similarities shared by the prophets especially especially musa and
[12:39]muhammad believe it or not there are a lot of similarities a
[12:42]lot of similarities that these two great prophets share hence rasulallah said
[12:48]multiple times to imam ali except that there is no prophet after
[13:06]me realize rasulullah is informing us in this hadith that he somewhat
[13:10]resembles musa and vice versa and somewhat resembles harun and vice versa
[13:18]salat there's a reason why he's saying so in fact there are
[13:27]multiple reasons if you look carefully at the biography of musa you'll
[13:31]see you'll see a lot of resemblance with muhammad's biography for example
[13:45]musa came to pharaoh and his people and called them to the
[13:50]path of allah when he came to them musa salaam presented marvelous
[13:58]signs he presented mind-blowing signs meaning miracles like the stuff which turned
[14:03]into a serpent and like the glowing hand musa one of his
[14:09]miracles was that his hand would glow like the sun pharaoh saw
[14:15]these signs and he was certain that these were miracles from allah
[14:21]but even then what did he do even then he neglected moosa's
[14:27]prophethood denied his prophethood disbelieved in it and denied the miracles of
[14:35]musa hence allah tells us 14 when speaking about pharaoh and his
[14:42]people he says that they disbelieved in those signs in those miracles
[14:54]even though they were certain that these were miracles from allah so
[15:00]what's allah saying here allah is saying that pharaoh and his people
[15:06]had certainty in musa as in they did not have a shadow
[15:11]of a doubt that musa alaihissalam was a prophet but even then
[15:18]they disbelieved in him and went against him here al-quran al-karim is
[15:25]revealing an important piece of knowledge and that is even though you
[15:34]might know something even though you might not have any doubt in
[15:40]a particular thing it doesn't necessarily mean that you believe in it
[15:45]for example suppose i don't doubt that fulan is a prophet me
[15:53]not doubting in his prophethood doesn't necessarily mean i believe in him
[15:59]as a prophet suppose i don't doubt in the imamite of fulan
[16:04]me not doubting in his imami doesn't necessarily mean i believe in
[16:11]him so how or what should we do what should we do
[16:16]to believe in for example prophets or imams if knowing a particular
[16:24]thing doesn't necessarily mean i believe in it what should i do
[16:27]what else is left to do in order to believe in it
[16:31]what should be done is actually submit submitting with our souls to
[16:43]that prophet or to that imam or to that specific thing pharaoh
[16:47]knew musa was a prophet but disbelieved in him because he didn't
[16:52]want to submit to musa alaihissalam he didn't want to submit internally
[16:58]and actually confirm musa's prophethood was in imam he knew it he
[17:13]knew that musa benjamin was the imam of the time but he
[17:16]didn't want to submit again when i say he knew i mean
[17:20]he didn't even doubt in that issue he knew musa was the
[17:26]amount of the time but he didn't want to submit internally to
[17:32]imam al-qaeda he disbelieved in him so if we want to be
[17:37]believers if we want to be believers who are certain in their
[17:43]beliefs knowing the belief isn't enough you must know it and actually
[17:50]submit internally to that specific belief when we come to rasulullah's biography
[17:58]we see the same quraysh marvelous miracles done by rasulallah and even
[18:10]then they did what they disbelieved in the prophet and they went
[18:15]on fighting rasulallah i'll give you an example i'll give you an
[18:22]example that imam mentions in one of his sermons which you can
[18:30]find in the imam mentions a miracle that the prophet did in
[18:36]the presence of a group from quraish let's call this miracle the
[18:42]miracle of the tree what did the prophet do the imam says
[18:45]one day he says i was with rasulullah when a group from
[18:57]quraish came to him and said o muhammad you have made a
[19:06]great claim none of your forefathers and no one amongst your family
[19:11]members have made that claim what claim are they talking about they're
[19:17]talking about nubua about prophethood they told him we have come to
[19:26]ask you to perform a particular miracle if you do it and
[19:30]show it to us we will know that you are a prophet
[19:36]and a messenger however if you refrain from performing it then we
[19:43]will know that you are a magician who lies so you're not
[19:49]only a magician you're a liar and you're not only a liar
[19:51]you're a magician here i want you to focus on the word
[19:55]magician for a second and ponder upon it why are they telling
[20:02]rasulallah if you don't show us what we're going to ask you
[20:05]then you are a magician this word indicates that rasulullah had previously
[20:11]done miracles in front of them and since they don't want to
[20:17]believe in rasulallah they said this is mere magic and they accuse
[20:22]them of being a magician so the word magician in this context
[20:27]indicates that they had already seen miracles by rasulullah and even then
[20:32]they disbelieved and they were asking him for another miracle rasulullah said
[20:42]he said what do you want what do you want me to
[20:46]do they said we want you to call that tree pointing to
[20:54]a particular tree and we want you to tell it to come
[20:59]to you such that it comes out from the earth pulling its
[21:02]roots out of the earth and it stands right in front of
[21:10]you the prophet told them surely allah is able to do anything
[21:15]however if allah does this for you will you believe and will
[21:23]you utter the testimony of truth see he's telling them if allah
[21:28]does this for you why why doesn't what why doesn't he say
[21:32]if i do it for you although he's going to do the
[21:37]miracle because he wants to tell them listen if i or any
[21:39]prophet if i do a miracle or any prophet does a miracle
[21:43]it's because allah is aiding us we're doing it with allah's permission
[21:47]so he tells them if allah does it for you will you
[21:53]believe and utter the testimony of truth as in will you say
[21:56]allah they said yes they said yes rasulullah said remember imam ali
[22:08]is near everything all of this he said i will do it
[22:16]and i know that you won't believe in fact i know that
[22:20]some of you will be thrown into a well and some of
[22:29]you will gather clans what's he talking about here he is referring
[22:34]to two incidents which will happen in the future he's telling them
[22:39]i know some of you will be thrown into a well when
[22:41]after the battle of badr when the battle of badr was done
[22:46]there were 70 polytheists who were killed the prophet and the muslims
[22:53]threw their bodies where into a well so he's telling them i
[22:58]know some of you i know that this will be the fate
[23:02]of some of you like you like then again when he says
[23:05]and i know some of you will gather clans he's talking about
[23:10]abu sufyan because abu sufyan before the battle of the trench gathered
[23:16]groups of people and led those groups in order to fight rasulallah
[23:22]and the muslims in medina which obviously led to what to the
[23:25]battle of the trench also known as the battle of the clans
[23:33]so he said i know you won't believe here rasulullah turned to
[23:41]the tree and he said o tree if you believe in allah
[23:48]and the last day meaning a day of judgment and you know
[23:51]that i am a messenger of allah then come to me come
[23:59]out of the earth with your roots and stand in front of
[24:05]me with allah's permission i swear by he who sent him with
[24:13]truth the tree came out of the earth with its roots and
[24:16]it was coming to the prophet as it was producing a loud
[24:22]sound the sound resembled the sound that stems from birds when they
[24:31]flop their wings he says it kept on moving until it stood
[24:37]in front of rasulullah and it placed its highest branch on the
[24:43]prophet and some of its branches on me i was standing on
[24:50]his right side you see the tree recognizes that this is rasulullah
[24:55]so it places the highest branch on the prophet and it recognizes
[25:01]this is his successor so it places some of its branches on
[25:03]ali here did they believe that quraish believe the imam out of
[25:18]their arrogance the group who were from quraish said now now command
[25:25]the tree and make it split in half let half of it
[25:29]come to you and let the other half stay where it is
[25:33]so the prophet did so and half of the tree came to
[25:40]him approached him and was about to surround rasulullah it's it's as
[25:46]if he wanted to hug the prophet to embrace him so the
[25:51]people of quraish said what they said out of their arrogance and
[25:57]disbelief they said now command that half to go back to the
[26:00]other half as in let those two halves come together and form
[26:07]a full tree so the prophet did so and it went back
[26:10]to the other half the imam says at that point i said
[26:18]there is no god other than allah i am the first person
[26:23]to believe in you o messenger of allah and i am the
[26:30]first person to confirm that the tree did what it did due
[26:36]to allah's command because it wanted to confirm your prophethood and to
[26:42]glorify your word to glorify your message bear in mind was announcing
[26:50]his faith but it wasn't the first time he announces his faith
[26:54]he had announced his faith in rasulallah before but it's as if
[27:02]he's reminding us here he's reminding us of the reality that he
[27:05]was the first person to announce his belief in rasulallah what happened
[27:12]here the people of quraish said they said on the contrary he
[27:18]is not a prophet rather he is a magician who lies his
[27:24]magic is astonishing and he's quite strong at his magic he's no
[27:29]normal magician no no he's quite strong so strong that you can't
[27:36]detect how he's actually performing his magic you can't tell how he's
[27:42]doing it then they told us does anyone believe in your prophethood
[27:48]other than the likes of this boy imam says they were pointing
[27:56]at me so they were kind of belittling imam salawatu and telling
[28:00]rasulallah no one believes you other than likes of this boy realize
[28:09]they saw three miracles three came to rasulullah the tree split in
[28:17]half and half of it came to him then the prophet told
[28:20]that i have to go back to the first half and it
[28:23]did they saw three miracles and even then they kept on disbelieving
[28:40]although they had certainty in those signs they had certainty quraysh disbelieved
[28:50]in the prophet whereas kept on revealing his faith in rasulullah yes
[29:04]he did conceal his faith but he would reveal it at other
[29:11]times in different manners tonight inshallah we want to commemorate the demise
[29:18]of for it is said that he was martyred that he passed
[29:23]away on the seventh of the month of ramadan hence we would
[29:31]reveal his faith in rasulullah and revealed his faith in rasulullah in
[29:37]multiple instances one of which is an instance where a miracle pertaining
[29:47]to a tree also took place the tradition you're about to hear
[29:53]could be speaking about the same event that is the one we
[30:02]just mentioned a while a few minutes back or it could be
[30:07]mentioning a different incident but in all cases it pertains to a
[30:12]tree as well what does it say the prophet's uncle he says
[30:26]why because he wanted to reveal the greatness and the virtues of
[30:34]rasulallah to quraish so he told the prophet my nephew has allah
[30:40]subhanahu wa tahalah sent you to us the prophet told him yes
[30:44]so abu talib told him the prophets the prophets of god present
[30:54]miracles and they present signs confirming their prophethood so can you present
[31:00]us a sign the prophet told him yes he told him go
[31:03]to that tree pointing to a tree call it and tell it
[31:12]tells you to come forth and stand before him so the tree
[31:21]came with allah's permission the tree came and prostrated in front of
[31:26]rasulallah here when someone hears this when certain people hear this they
[31:35]might object to this narration saying how could you say that the
[31:41]tree prostrated in front of rasulallah this is disbelief for it is
[31:52]unlawful to prostrate for anyone other than allah we say in response
[31:57]to this statement according to our set of laws the set of
[32:01]laws of muhammad sallallahu alaihi yes it is unlawful for a human
[32:10]being to prostrate for the prophet or any other human correct but
[32:14]this is the tree we're not talking about a human we're talking
[32:20]about a tree there's no problem in saying that the tree prostrated
[32:26]for rasulallah for allah previously commanded his angels to prostrate for adam
[32:38]were the angels worshiping adam no they weren't they worshipping god the
[32:42]same applies to that tree if it prostrates for the prophet it's
[32:46]not worshiping him it's revealing its reverence it's respect and loyalty to
[32:52]the prophet so long story short the tree prostrated for us then
[33:00]the prophet told it to go away so it went away here
[33:04]abu talib told him what he told them i testify that you
[33:09]are truthful meaning what meaning you are a prophet you are a
[33:15]true prophet sent to us then he told imam excuse me he
[33:22]told imam ali stay with your cousin be with him at all
[33:28]times as in be with him and support him this was the
[33:34]command of abu talib he told his son ibn to be and
[33:39]to support rasulullah at all times yet even then you still have
[33:45]people today telling you that as a disbeliever how shameful how sad
[33:56]this man this great giant who was the embodiment of belief salaam
[34:02]allah was accused of what and is still accused of disbelief tell
[34:09]me what kind of a disbeliever tells his own son to be
[34:16]with a prophet he disbelieves in and to constantly support him not
[34:22]to be with him for a day or two rather to always
[34:25]be with him he tells him always be with him if he
[34:33]disbelieved in muhammad's message not to say of course not to say
[34:42]that this is the only proof we have supporting abu talib's belief
[34:47]believe it or not we have countless proofs supporting the belief of
[34:52]abu talib confirming the belief of abu talib one of these proofs
[35:04]is the poetry of abu talim was a poet and recited beautiful
[35:11]poetry he has lots of poems lots of poems which you can
[35:16]find in diwan when you read his poetry you find it filled
[35:22]with couplets of poetry in which he testifies that muhammad is a
[35:26]messenger of god i don't know what else is he supposed to
[35:31]do for people to believe that he is a believer in rasulallah
[35:39]these poems were important thus you find the tradition by imam assad
[35:47]in which the imam says would like people he used to like
[36:12]people to recite the poetry of abi talib and to write down
[36:18]that poetry so imam ali salam imam ali not only wanted people
[36:26]to recite the poetry of abu talib he also wanted it to
[36:28]be written so it can remain in this world for the future
[36:36]generations then he said wakana ta'ala muhumu what's allah's religion we've been
[36:56]saying for a few nights islam surely the religion with allah is
[37:03]islam was a muslim this is what ali is saying then the
[37:11]imam said he said that the poetry of contains a lot of
[37:21]knowledge so it doesn't only contain testimonies by abi talib in which
[37:28]he he reveals his belief in rasulallah no no there's a lot
[37:32]of knowledge in his poetry ali salaam this is the second proof
[37:41]a third and last proof for tonight is a proof presented by
[37:45]imam zayn which you can also find in bihar anwar after you
[37:52]hear the proof you're going to realize it's very simple what imam
[37:56]sajad is about to say is very basic and simple but subhanallah
[38:00]sometimes a basic and simple proof is so solid it can demolish
[38:07]a whole sect it can nullify a whole sect or even disprove
[38:16]a particular or a huge group of people it can disprove a
[38:22]sect or maybe even a whole religion what does the imam say
[38:28]the tradition says that he was asked was abu talib a believer
[38:33]imam sajjad said yes so he was told there are people here
[38:41]who claim that he was a disbeliever the imam said wajab he
[38:57]said these people who claim that abu talib died as a disbeliever
[39:01]are they defaming abu talib or are they defaming rasulallah says if
[39:10]he's saying are they attacking abu talib or attacking the prophet so
[39:15]here he's telling us listen those who claim abu talib died as
[39:20]a disbeliever aren't only insulting abu talib they're indirectly insulting rasulallah there
[39:40]are multiple verses in the quran imam says there are multiple verses
[39:47]in the quran in which allah tells the prophet to separate a
[39:53]muslim lady from her disbelieving husband as you know as you know
[39:59]when people believed in rasulullah there were certain ladies who believed in
[40:07]him who became muslim muslim but their husbands remain disbelievers and a
[40:14]muslim cannot marry but a muslim she can't marry any man unless
[40:18]he is muslim so rasulallah did what he separated those ladies from
[40:23]their husbands because their husbands chose to remain disbelievers so the imam
[40:28]is saying he's saying salam allah allah told the prophet in multiple
[40:32]verses to separate the muslim lady from her disbelieving husband than the
[40:48]imam said and no one doubts was a believing lady in fact
[40:57]she was from the sabicot she was from the first believing ladies
[41:03]from the first people to believe in rasulallah peace be upon him
[41:22]so that is a proof in itself that abu talib was a
[41:29]believer if he was a disbeliever would have separated fatima assad from
[41:35]abu talib but that is not the case in short the man
[41:45]was the embodiment of faith peace be upon him one can see
[41:52]his his sincere belief and his sincere faith when he does what
[41:59]when he looks when he looks at how used to defend the
[42:07]prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam he wouldn't allow quraysh to attack rasulullah or
[42:17]hurt him or to lay a finger on him so long that
[42:23]he was present i'll share with you a short story before we
[42:28]go into the haza of abi talib and imam hassan salawatu there
[42:35]are many stories that we can share but this one is quite
[42:40]interesting you can find it in bihar anwar by the way with
[42:45]what's interesting about this story which you shall hear is that the
[42:52]certain sunni scholars who believed abu talib was a kafir abu talib
[42:57]was a disbeliever narrated the story the story says used to see
[43:12]the prophet every morning and evening and he would guard rasulallah because
[43:19]he feared quraish would kill the prophet he feared that would pull
[43:27]some sort of attack on rasulallah when he doesn't expect it and
[43:34]kill him so he would guard him in fact traditions say that
[43:37]abu multiple times in rasulullah's life would would uh come to the
[43:48]prophet at night and would take the prophet off his bed or
[43:52]mattress and place him on a different bed or mattress and would
[43:59]place on the bed or mattress of rasulullah why to protect the
[44:05]prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam he was willing to sacrifice his son imam
[44:10]ali alaihissalam as imam ali played the role of a decoy acted
[44:17]to be acted he was willing to sacrifice his son ali for
[44:25]his beloved muhammad sallallahu alaihi long story short abu talib would see
[44:31]the prophet at morning and evening every day one day didn't see
[44:40]the prophet the time passed and the evening arrived and muhammad still
[44:51]absent the next morning realized that rasulullah was still absent so he
[45:00]went and searched for him but didn't find him when he didn't
[45:05]find him he was worried and his heart was aching for us
[45:12]he feared that quraysh might have done something to the prophet so
[45:18]he gathered his servants his children and certain family members or friends
[45:28]who would be with him usually and he said muhammad has been
[45:35]missing from yesterday so it's been two days give or take that
[45:40]muhammad s missing and i looked for him but couldn't find him
[45:47]he said i assume that quraish has done something to the prophet
[45:53]i assume that they have killed him there is one last place
[46:01]i have to look at in there's one more place i have
[46:05]to look in however however it is very unlikely that muhammad will
[46:16]be in that place at that point chose 20 of his servants
[46:25]and he told them to go and fetch blades and to sharpen
[46:33]those blades then he said i'm going to look for muhammad to
[46:41]go s addressing the 20 slaves 20 servants whom he told to
[46:49]bring blades he said i want you i want each one of
[46:51]you to sit beside one of the aristocrats of quraish i'm going
[46:58]to search for muhammad if i come back with muhammad then don't
[47:06]do anything stay in your positions until i stand before you but
[47:11]if i come back without muhammad then i want each one of
[47:19]you to kill the aristocrat of quraish that will be sitting beside
[47:25]him with a group of his fan members to find the prophet
[47:30]and the 20 slaves went brought blades sharpened them and sat where
[47:35]and sat beside the aristocrats of quraysh who were sitting in the
[47:43]sacred mosque sitting beside abu talib went and found rasulullah where in
[47:51]the lowest point in mecca he found him worshiping allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala
[47:57]beside a boulder so when he saw him he fell on rasulallah
[48:02]kissed him and he said i was about to annihilate our people
[48:09]for you as in if i if i found out that they
[48:15]killed you we would have annihilated all of them today all those
[48:21]aristocrats then he told him come with me he placed his hand
[48:24]or arm in the hand of rasulallah and both of them came
[48:31]where they came to the sacred mosque when they came the aristocrats
[48:37]of quraish realized that abu talib was angry and they said here
[48:42]is abu talib who has come with muhammad something big has happened
[48:48]there's a big issue a big thing that has taken place so
[48:52]they waited abu talib came when he came he told his servants
[48:58]reveal the blades so they revealed the blades when they revealed them
[49:06]the aristocrats of quraysh were surprised they told them abu talib what
[49:10]is this he told them it is as you see as in
[49:17]your eyes aren't fooling you you are seeing blades sharp blades right
[49:20]in front of you he told them that muhammad had been absent
[49:27]for two days and that he told his servants to grab sharp
[49:34]blades and told them that each one of them should sit beside
[49:39]one of the aristocrats of quraysh and said if i come without
[49:50]muhammad then strike the person who is sitting right beside you meaning
[49:55]the aristocrat of quraysh that is sitting right beside you he tells
[50:02]them i told them strike that person even if he's a hashimi
[50:06]even if he's from banu hashem it sounds if he's speaking about
[50:12]abu lahab may allah the people of quraish were astonished they told
[50:19]him abu talib were you truly going to do so he pointed
[50:24]to the kaaba and said yes i swear by the lord of
[50:28]the kaaba i swear by the lord of this house i was
[50:31]going to do it then he left with rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam
[50:37]as he recited couplets of poetry in which he encourages rasulallah to
[50:45]go forth and propagate his message let me share a few lines
[50:52]from this poem with you he tells he tells him go my
[51:04]son go forth propagate your message and do not worry no one
[51:09]will be able to defame you for what you're doing go and
[51:17]make us and other people happy as you propagate the message they
[51:29]will not be able to hurt you so long that i am
[51:34]alive until i am placed in my grave ya muhammad they won't
[51:39]be able to hurt you this was a promise made by abu
[51:45]talib and he upheld his promise indeed up until his death quraish
[51:48]wasn't able to hurt rasulallah if they hurt him sometimes during us
[51:55]during abu talib's life because abu talib would be absent would quickly
[52:02]strike them back to teach them a lesson to teach them that
[52:06]muhammad was under his protection hence passed away rasulullah lost that protection
[52:20]he lost it it was dear to rasulullah to lose his beloved
[52:27]uncle he lost that protection hence the tradition says came to him
[52:35]and told him what and told him allah salutes you with salam
[52:40]and he tells you leave mecca leave mecca because your support has
[52:46]died meaning i say subhanallah how heartbreaking is this word leave mecca
[52:57]for your support has died realize rasulallah still had supporters he had
[53:05]his backbone was still alive in abyssinia he had the lion of
[53:16]god hamza he had noble believers who were willing to sacrifice themselves
[53:20]for him even then allah tells him what leave mecca i say
[53:25]ya rasulallah if you're told to leave mecca if you were able
[53:31]to go to medina and leave mecca when you lost your main
[53:34]when you lost one of your main supporters then tell me where
[53:44]was supposed to go when he lost his supporters in karbala when
[53:50]he lost the greatest support abu fadher abbas salam where was he
[53:58]supposed to go yadas with allah when he was surrounded by thousands
[54:02]of troops by the yazidi army yes the loss of abbas alaihissalam
[54:20]when he sought permission from the imam [Music] if you go then
[54:54]my troops will be scattered subhanallah the troops of the imam were
[55:01]already mortuard only was left even then he tells him if you
[55:08]go my troops will be scattered it's as if he's telling him
[55:13]about her father so long that you are alive so long that
[55:22]you are alive then the rest of my soldiers are still alive
[55:26]it is as if habib and the rest of imam hussain's supporters
[55:36]are still on the land of karbala because he still lives [Music]
[55:58]hence you hear that one abba abdullah hussain would lose his companions
[56:04]in karabella he would cry for some he would be devastated at
[56:12]times for example the historians say yes he would cry for them
[56:37]he would be devastated at times but never would he say now
[56:43]my back broke my backbone is broken when does he say this
[56:50]word falls on the plains of karaballa and cause the imam comes
[57:09]forward above us may allah help his heart how did he find
[57:14]the energy to come to abu fateh after hearing that heartbreaking call
[57:19]brother come to my rescue rahim allah has [Music] a he says
[57:59]hussain was walking towards abu father but as he's walking at times
[58:05]he would look towards his camp and at times he would look
[58:11]towards the direction towards the place of abu fateh is [Music] [Music]
[58:35]appearance had changed he saw him lying on the planes of caravala
[59:01]as if he was a moon that was covered by broken spears
[59:09]yes he saw him in a state that devastated the angels of
[59:18]a god peace be upon them he saw him lying on the
[59:22]plains of karbala covered in blood his hands are missing there's an
[59:27]arrow in his eye the head of abu father is open what
[59:33]did he do at that point the tradition says looked to the
[59:42]right and he saw his enemies he looked to the left and
[59:47]saw his enemies at a point he placed his hand on his
[59:56]side and said [Music] [Music] we [Music] no i cannot see away
[60:47][Music] tell me where will i take your flag who will carry
[61:00]your flag after you hear about fatherhood [Music] my backbone is broken
[61:21]and so i cannot stand different worries have piled up against me
[61:50]um sincere followers and supporters to forgive our sins to heal the
[62:24]sick and to fulfill our needs if anyone has a need asked
[62:27]at the moment we'll answer you allah to heal the sick for
[62:51]the sake of imams especially a dear brother called abu zayed please
[62:56]pray for him for he is in the critical condition allah [Music]
[63:07]to protect us from this pandemic and from all sicknesses and to
[63:12]and to push away this pandemic from the world for the sake
[63:17]of fatima to bless the souls of all believers who have passed
[63:24]away especially our dear family members and those who are completely forgotten
[63:28]and never mentioned and especially the great marchers and the noble scholars
