[39:41]immediately what comes to one's mind is the event for the celebration

[39:48]of Mera Raj as we know is to Mark or to commemorate

[39:55]the miracle of a beloved Prophet Muhammad Mustafa sallallahu alaihi wasallam Allah

[40:03]Muhammad is witnessed in the Quran in Surah al-isra where Allah says

[40:31]that glory be to Allah [Music] the farthest point so that we

[40:48]may show him our signs and this is the two-step of Journey

[40:52]which involves the journey from the holy prophet moving from Haram inwards

[41:00]all the way to masjidul aksa in this landform journey and thereafter

[41:06]the journey in masjidul aksa all the way to the highest levels

[41:09]of the heavens which is the journey known as Israel with Maharaja

[41:14]in our traditions for the records of the history we find that

[41:20]Allah mentions that this journey of Maharaja that is ascending to the

[41:24]heavens is one which is not limited to Once in the lifetime

[41:29]of the Prophet but rather we find that there are a minimum

[41:33]of at least 10 to 120 times when the prophet has been

[41:36]given that honor and Opportunity by Allah to go on this journey

[41:43]as such so this is a miracle of our beloved prophet sallallahu

[41:48]alaihi wasallam Muhammad however in records of history and narrations of ahadis

[41:58]from the Muslim we find that the most likely dates when the

[42:04]Maharaj which took place by the physical Ascension of the holy prophet

[42:11]was the highest lofty abodes of the heavens is not actually on

[42:15]the 27th night of Raja there is more of it towards the

[42:20]nights of the month of Ramadan and we find that as a

[42:24]result of this the Traditions from the Salam for us specifically is

[42:32]more emphasis on observing another event rather than the event of Israel

[42:39]Maharaja on the 27th night of Raja nonetheless there is no harm

[42:44]there is benefit at least for observing the 27 nights to be

[42:46]able to remember the miracle of the prophet and for us it

[42:53]becomes an opportunity to be able to reflect on a lesson from

[42:56]the the event of Israel Maharaja so for tonight insha Allah I

[43:02]will just share one reflection of a lesson from the event of

[43:06]Israel Maharaja and thereafter proceed to what are the majority of the

[43:11]Traditions from our scholarship and the history related to the event which

[43:16]took place on the 27th night of Raja the reflection which I

[43:21]want to share with you with regards to Israel Maharaja as we

[43:25]all know that the event of Israel Maharaja is the journey physical

[43:30]journey of the Prophet taking place from masjidul Haram in Makkah all

[43:35]the way to masjidul aksa in present-day Jerusalem and thereafter ascending into

[43:41]the lofty Awards or the lofty levels of Jannah and this is

[43:44]one which is from that it is one which took place in

[43:49]a split second of that moment narrations say that when the marriage

[43:53]took place it was equal to the time of the knocker moving

[43:59]from one's extreme of the right towards the left so you can

[44:02]imagine like the swing of the pendulum within that moment Allah managed

[44:07]to give that Miracle to the prophet to cover a distance of

[44:15]more than 2 300 Lane miles from masjidul Haram to Masjid Al-Aqsa

[44:18]an air to that the land miles of the space journey in

[44:25]that physical form of the body and the spirit of the Prophet

[44:27]going towards that that is a miracle by the holy prophet and

[44:31]we find that a reflection for us is that Allah making the

[44:38]prophet Journey from Masjid Haram to Masjid Al-Aqsa what was it in

[44:43]masjidul aksar that Allah wants the prophet to go towards couldn't it

[44:49]have been only to move from masjidul Haram in Makkah all the

[44:55]way to the heavens all right that could be one of the

[44:58]possibly thought as such but there is a wisdom in the workings

[45:03]or the ways of Allah we have not been able to understand

[45:10]what is that wisdom behind it but it gives us an opportunity

[45:12]for us to be able to reflect with regards to the history

[45:19]of masjidul aksa we know that Masjid Al-Aqsa is indeed one of

[45:24]those ancient mosques built by the previous prophets and that is the

[45:28]mosque where we find that we find that the prophets our beloved

[45:32]Prophet Muhammad Mustafa Allah when he is on the Journey of Israel

[45:41]stopped at that occasion stopped at that destination or that point of

[45:49]Masjid Al-Aqsa and in that point of Masjid he met with the

[45:52]other prophets and over there he also performed the salutations of the

[45:57]Salah or the prayers to Allah how do we reflect on that

[46:04]position of putting in muscular aksa as part of that Journey the

[46:07]miracle of the Beloved prophet for me to be able to realize

[46:14]that imagine in history if this was not part of the journey

[46:18]have focused any mention in our history even if there was no

[46:28]specific relevance or significance for example we find that muscular gained that

[46:32]sacredness of being our first Qibla for Salah when Salah had been

[46:36]made obligatory the direction for prayers prior to the changing of direction

[46:42]to Makkah al-mukarrama Sharif it was facing towards masjidul aksa so imagine

[46:48]a history of time today if that thing would not have been

[46:53]placed over there and when we see for ourselves today that with

[46:57]the ancient people of the time from and the generation coming down

[47:06]till today with the Jews claiming that to be their Temple all

[47:09]right with the Jews claiming ownership of that area just visualize that

[47:14]we have Muslims had nothing to do with the area of Jerusalem

[47:16]and Palestine do you realize you would have shown no indifference to

[47:22]the Injustice which is being carried out to the Muslim people living

[47:25]in that place of Jerusalem do you realize that you would have

[47:32]had no feelings whatsoever to the film which has been going on

[47:36]for the more than 100 years to the people in that area

[47:40]perhaps I do not say that this is the final answer this

[47:42]is just a point of reflection for us on a night when

[47:46]we are also reminding ourselves of the miracle of Israel Maharaja perhaps

[47:53]for the people living in for you and I Allah is reminding

[47:57]us of the Hadith of the prophetamoral Muslim that he the holy

[48:04]prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam had said he who wakes up and does

[48:16]not concern himself with the Affairs of the Muslim for he is

[48:19]not from the Muslim he is not from them that means to

[48:23]be a Muslim is not just recitation of the Kalama shahada to

[48:26]be a Muslim there is a level and to be a Muslim

[48:30]of that level the prophet is saying that you need to be

[48:32]those who are concerned about the Affairs of the Muslims so this

[48:39]is an opportunity in the moment because of remembering that Israel we

[48:45]recall the history of that place and remember the sanctity of that

[48:52]place which is masjidul aksa in Palestine and because of that we

[48:56]see the surroundings today of the zone taking place Perhaps it is

[48:59]an opportunity for us to make it into an ibadah and to

[49:05]increase our level of Islam our level of submission and commitment to

[49:09]the prophet in remembering the Muslim of that people over there so

[49:12]this is just one point of reflection a humble one note that

[49:16]I say that this is the actual reason Allah had made the

[49:18]prophet to go to El Merced rather being able to make sense

[49:24]and bring it out today yes in remembering the miracle of the

[49:27]prophet in going all the way to the heavens increase your status

[49:33]of Islam and commitment of Iman in being able to remember or

[49:37]concern yourself with the Affairs of the Muslims and a sport which

[49:40]is being brought about to us is the occupied lens of Palestine

[49:46]the volume which is being carried out by the apartheid and oppresses

[49:49]regime we pray to Allah that Ya Allah by the Wasilla of

[49:57]the Excellence of the night of the 27th night of rajab and

[50:00]this month of rajab Ya Allah for all the madhulum and especially

[50:03]the Muslim in whom we are mentioning in the areas surrounding Masjid

[50:07]aksa grant them that farage and user and make all the plans

[50:13]of the tahoot and to become knowledge void and defeated at all

[50:17]times having said this morning the event of Israel Maharaj also has

[50:30]a great significance in our we are not in any way underscoring

[50:36]the observance of the remembrance of Israel Maharaja just pointing out a

[50:39]historical fact and to point out that it forms a very important

[50:44]part of our arcade I would like to share with you one

[50:48]hadees from where the Imam says whosoever denies three things then he

[51:04]is not from our followers and he mentioned the three things and

[51:09]out of those three things the first of them is whosoever denies

[51:13]the physical Ascension of the Prophet from this Earth level towards the

[51:21]highest evolves of the of the Jannah you are person who denies

[51:26]that Imam is pointing out to us that he is not from

[51:28]that level of the Shia as such so with this Hadith again

[51:32]I am strengthening the point yes it is important for us to

[51:37]be able to remember Israeli Muhammad oh yeah so with this introduction

[51:48]with regards to the historical event which takes place on the 27th

[51:53]day of rajab the event which actually takes place on the 27th

[51:57]of rajab is one which is known as the event of berasa

[52:02]the commissioning the inauguration what would say that this is the event

[52:06]the respectful event of the as the commissioning the inauguration or the

[52:13]starting of the mission of prophethood of our beloved Prophet Muhammad Mustafa

[52:24]I'm not so I would like to share with you two hadiths

[52:29]from the numerous hadees which mentioned with regards to the event which

[52:33]took place on the 27th of Raja the first Hadith is from

[52:39]our night Imam Muhammad is [Music] [Music] know that in the month

[52:59]of rajab there is a night which is more hair much better

[53:02]for the people than all that on which the sun rays of

[53:08]the sun fall on it and what is the night the Imam

[53:14]says that this is the 27th night of Raja what is it

[53:23]just visualize that Imam is mentioning that this night is one which

[53:27]is superior then all those things on which the sun rays shine

[53:34]on as we all know that the sun is one which is

[53:38]the source of life if we were to move one degree away

[53:44]far away from the Sun you can imagine the effect we should

[53:46]have on the survival of life if you were to move one

[53:51]degree closer to the Sun again the disruption in the Life which

[53:54]would be there surviving on the earth as such but the Allah

[53:57]has brought about that mizon and balance and has put the Earth

[54:03]in the whole universe in such a balance of Harmony of that

[54:06]moving such that we find that the sun with the required number

[54:12]of hours is sunrise will come its rays will come and thereafter

[54:15]we find how much life it gives to us and the Imam

[54:19]is pointing out for us to be able to link it up

[54:21]that how much precious and valuable that night is the giving out

[54:27]of the Rays of the sun on anything which is there is

[54:32]a source of life that means that this night there is an

[54:34]event which is occurring which can be looked into in the equivalence

[54:40]of one which is giving source of life if not the physical

[54:44]life then it is the spiritual life of all the creations of

[54:47]Allah on the 27th night of Raja of the commencement of the

[54:53]giving of life and what is it which takes place the Imam

[54:56]says it is the night after explaining the 227 night and the

[55:10]significance of the 27th night of rajab then the Imam says that

[55:13]it is the night on which the prophet rasulullah was assigned was

[55:22]commissioned was inaugurated to carry out his role this is the first

[55:26]Hadith which points out to us the event which took place on

[55:28]the 27th night of Raja in another event we find that we

[55:34]are told that the Imam continues in this hadees where he says

[55:44]and for our shias who perform any armor any devotion whether this

[55:51]means the prayers whether it means any of those deeds of herat

[55:55]any of those deeds of transactions which a person does on this

[55:58]9 to 27th night of rajab the Imam tells us that they

[56:03]will get reward equivalent to 16 years 60 years if they have

[56:07]performed they did in another month or another day we shall get

[56:15]on an ordinary day having We performed on the 27th the reward

[56:20]is increased as if he has got the reward for the 60

[56:23]years having performed the teeth so again significance Hadith points out of

[56:31]the event which take place that is the event of Bertha then

[56:34]the reward of performing any deed on this night is increased many

[56:38]fall 60 times having been performed on an ordinary days another Hadith

[56:45]whichever 60 miles do not neglect observing the fast of the 27th

[57:01]day of lecture and perhaps this could be the reason why there

[57:06]has been so emphasis I remember right from our childhood would be

[57:11]something which would be really a tradition in All Families even the

[57:15]young children that we encouraged if it is for example the half

[57:19]past on that day but there was a lot of excitement and

[57:21]preparation for commencing the fast with 2027th day of Russia so the

[57:29]Imam says do not neglect observing the fast of the 27th day

[57:32]of Raja why is that so the Imam says foreign is the

[57:48]day on which was commissioned was assigned or revealed to Muhammad sallallahu

[57:57]alaihi wasallam Allah so with the sample of these two hadees and

[58:03]when we look at the numerous armor and recitations of the Dua

[58:08]on the 27th of rajab the night and the day of the

[58:13]27th Raja we find that in all these there is a Common

[58:18]Thread which mentions with regards to the event of regards to the

[58:23]commissioning the inauguration of the Prophet commencing formally commencing his task of

[58:31]giving out The Message of Islam or giving out the message of

[58:35]Allah and we find that on this night of 27th night of

[58:42]rajab and the day of rajab numerous have been mentioned beginning with

[58:47]performance of Russell recitation of the different duas alhamdulillah we've been able

[58:54]to recite performing increase in recitation of salawat and Performing the ziara

[59:03]of the Prophet Salam not forgetting the other Deeds of sadaka in

[59:09]during these days of 27th day at 27th night and the 27th

[59:15]day of Raja Muhammad [Music] so having now at least taken a

[59:27]World's eye view of the contents of the actual event which took

[59:33]place on the 27th night of rajab from a sample of to

[59:36]Hadith and the history records of the event which took place let's

[59:41]very quickly just talk about the actual event behind it and we

[59:45]see that it was the tradition of our prophet that he would

[59:50]go into seclusion in the cave of Hera which is in Mount

[59:57]of Noor that is what is knowledgeable known and he would remain

[60:00]there for three days at times 10 days in a time she

[60:06]won 40 days in solitude in meditation and it would be only

[60:11]a mirror meaning [Music] who would be having access to visit the

[60:24]prophet and provide him with the provisions and it is narrated in

[60:30]the traditions in the history that on the early hours of the

[60:36]27th night of Raja in the year which is the 40 arm

[60:44]will feel the prophet was born in the ear which is known

[60:46]as the arm will fail now the prophet is 40 years old

[60:51]so the year 40 hour will feel which is around 6 10

[60:53]the Common Era we are now in 2023 so 610 the Common

[60:59]Era is when the angel zebra Hill by the command of Allah

[61:05]descends upon the prophet and he comes in with the revelation of

[61:10]the first five verses which is now the commencement of the gradual

[61:19]tadariji gradual revelation of the Holy Quran commencing with the first why

[61:24]verses where Allah conveys to the prophet read in the name of

[61:34]your lord who created the one who created in Sun human from

[61:42]the cloth and again the emphasis is read and the mufasirin said

[61:52]that here the ekra is now commanding the prophet Proclaim announce and

[61:59]indeed your lord is the most generous [Music] what he did not

[62:20]know and this was the commencement of what you would say is

[62:24]the sacred night of the commencement of the inauguration the former inauguration

[62:31]of the office or the task of prophethood and the messenger shape

[62:40]with the commencement of the revelation of the first wife verses from

[62:47]the Quran and then this of the Quran continued over a period

[62:50]of 23 years till the time the prophet finished his mortal life

[62:59]on this Earth in the year 11 after Hijra so we find

[63:06]that indeed this night or the day of the 27th of rajab

[63:09]commonly within the Shia Traditions he is more with regards to the

[63:19]inauguration the commencement of the formal task or Office of the apostleship

[63:24]prophethood of a beloved Prophet Muhammad Mustafa sallallahu alaihi so what we

[63:34]are actually celebrating historically on the 27th night of rajab is that

[63:40]grand moments when the Grand Rapid our beloved most beneficial the most

[63:48]merciful Lord makes the commencement of the grand vahi the Quran to

[63:59]the prophet who is the one who is indeed a mercy for

[64:06]the whole of the universe and you and I alhamdulillah are from

[64:10]that grand um who are alhamdulillah of those who have borne witness

[64:21]to the tawheed the unity of Allah to the shahada to the

[64:27]Testament of the risala and the nabua of our beloved prophet and

[64:32]an extension to that is that the shahada The Testament to the

[64:39]relia of Italian no more meaning how does this day of The

[64:56]Ether become relevant for us in our time today and I would

[65:01]like to share with you with Five Points in honor of five

[65:08]and in their honor on this night a sacred night of birasa

[65:14]I would like to share with you these five reflections number one

[65:19]this day is indeed a day of aid for us just like

[65:25]we have the day of where the Kisa are actually portrayed and

[65:31]introduced to the ummah just like the day of where the vilaya

[65:37]of Amir al-mumini is formally publicly broadcast and established the ummah likewise

[65:45]this day of this event of Eid of Bertha the commissioning the

[65:53]inauguration of the prophethood is indeed a day of Faith a day

[65:58]of Celebration for us as Muslims we all know the days of

[66:06]celebrations are not days of what we would say in the wider

[66:08]Community being understood to be all pleasure making party making and letting

[66:13]one hair go down as such for we know our read is

[66:19]one which is interpreted as returning towards the origin and returning towards

[66:26]Allah out it is those who are returning so a point for

[66:30]reflection for us is that yes we do celebrate the happy moments

[66:36]of this day [Music] the day of the inauguration of the commencement

[66:43]of the task of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi is but we remember

[66:53]that Eid is a day of return to our Lord and our

[66:58]celebration is to be able to find those moments of making it

[67:05]one whereby we are able to recharge ourselves remind ourselves of returning

[67:10]towards our Lord Allah especially in developing our level of closeness and

[67:20]connection with Allah and this fits in very well for as we

[67:24]know rajab Shaban are the months of preparation for us to go

[67:32]into the Divine banke of the Ramadan so the first point of

[67:36]reflection of seeing that this day of Sharif Sharif is relevant for

[67:44]us is because it is a point of being able to remind

[67:47]us of returning to that level of drawing closeness to Allah that

[67:55]is our first point of reflection the second point of reflection is

[68:01]when we see that Allah in introducing the prophet to the humanity

[68:06]he says that we have not sent your prophet save as a

[68:18]mercy mean for the whole of the Universe from that day in

[68:25]the year of first amul field 570 Common Era to the end

[68:28]of the day the prophet is a mercy for the whole of

[68:35]the universe when we see that the prophet is one you and

[68:38]I are witnessing that rahma that blessings of Mercy by the commissioning

[68:43]the inauguration of the prophet of Allah a point for reflection for

[68:51]us is that the day of ma'am Sharif is a day for

[68:57]us to be able to offer great sugar great gratitude and Thanksgiving

[69:00]to Allah and what is the benefit of doing this sugar and

[69:06]gratitude to Allah link it to the previous which I recited that

[69:10]one of the benefit which we see Allah tells us if you

[69:18]will be grateful I will increase this for you so the second

[69:24]point of reflection in celebrating the day of Sharif is let it

[69:29]be a point of not only being a day of sugar to

[69:36]Allah as we saw in the going to the sajdah what we

[69:39]recited is the sugar for Allah enabling us to be from those

[69:45]who have witnessed let it also be one as a result of

[69:47]doing sugar to Allah we are actually doing the Dua Ya Allah

[69:52]give us increase in our muslimness give us increase in our steadfastness

[70:00]of Iman and that is through doing the sugar to Allah so

[70:04]just like on the day of Eid al-qadir where we will say

[70:10]that alhamdulillah [Music] likewise in the Dua which recited in that again

[70:27]we are doing sugar to Allah for enabling us to be from

[70:30]those who hold steadfast to The Message of Islam so let every

[70:36]moment for us and for our children be a moment of sugar

[70:39]gratitude and Thanksgiving not only to be for this day of 27th

[70:47]of rajab but a point of moment of commencing the way we

[70:49]said read return to the stage of spirituality this also make it

[70:55]a constant habit of sugar to Allah you remember in the Middle

[70:59]East which we recited on sugar is make our tongues become more

[71:03]accustomed with these words of alhamdulillah with his words of sugar at

[71:08]every The Joy which comes to us at every Bala which is

[71:15]averted to us so that our tongues replace those common words those

[71:20]four little words G's and G's and other forms of what is

[71:25]a exclamations which are being done what the wider community so that

[71:29]we get used to these words and these are the reactions which

[71:32]become from us tongues get used to this type of words at

[71:36]all times the third point of reflection in how is Sharif relevant

[71:49]for us today this point is that we know that it is

[71:54]one which is actually strengthening our belief and yearning for our mawlana

[72:03]the master of our age how is that so we very well

[72:21]know that the times when the prophet was living in that Community

[72:26]before him commencing announcing The Message of Islam those times are known

[72:34]as the periods of ignorance the things which are happening in those

[72:37]periods of ignorance it was at the right moment for the right

[72:45]person Allah inaugurates the relief of that ummah towards enlightenment and that

[72:53]is was The Message of Islam so this is a point for

[72:57]us to be able to reflect and remember that despite all chaos

[73:00]despite all groom and darkness like those days of ayam at the

[73:08]right moment at the right time for the right person Allah and

[73:14]it is the personality of the Prophet commencing on Sharif the aid

[73:23]of in our times today which we live are no lesser evil

[73:27]than the times when the daughters female daughters who are being buried

[73:34]infanticide was very common today also we know how abortion illegal abortion

[73:43]I don't in fact we can use the word illegal abortion but

[73:47]how we know emotion has become what would say is a choice

[73:51]my body and my choice we know the way relationship between genders

[73:59]at that time no bounds no Sharia all right ah the prevailing

[74:12]of usury the fighting the wars at that time that is the

[74:16]time of ayam and look around us we may be calling ourselves

[74:22]a civilized and developed but those very evils taking place at that

[74:27]time today are present around us all these which have been mentioning

[74:31]relationships gender relationships talk about illicit sex outside marriage talk about transactions

[74:39]talk about war corruption Heroes Terror all this is there but the

[74:48]way Allah at the right moment for the right person inaugurated the

[74:52]prophet likewise for us we know that the way the prophet was

[74:58]born and it required that period of 40 years that's when the

[75:02]right moment came likewise we have that certainty that the one who

[75:08]is going to bring that farage the one who is going to

[75:12]bring that relief the one who is the yearning for our Salvation

[75:16]is already born in the year 255 tahitra but he's waiting for

[80:28]this how is the Eid of as a Sharif later one for

[80:34]us is with regards to the rollout of the mission of the

[80:39]Prophet we find the prophet when he received the first verses of

[80:42]the Quran thereafter came out the other verses of the Quran in

[80:53]Ayah tells us the prophet was told and won your nearest relatives

[82:01]of the Sharif for us to make it relevant is like the

[82:05]prophet started off with his close family members you and I let

[82:11]us remember we have a greater responsibility as individuals to ourselves to

[82:16]our family and to our community to be able to be leaving

[82:19]Islam to be able to be role models and a result of

[82:25]that we find that of that Miracle of the Prophet a role

[82:28]model for the community a message of Islam has spread all around

[82:33]the world till today that he find that the number of Muslims

[82:38]where it was only a handful at the time of the revelation

[82:40]of the Quran today it is a large community as such and

[82:47]the greatest factor is it was leaving Islam it was not the

[82:50]sword of Islam it was living out Islam it was interacting and

[82:55]being role models in Islam and impressing upon the people which leads

[82:58]to the survival of Islam in a world today where we find

[83:05]that the other faiths are trying to reinterpret themselves are trying to

[83:10]re-accommodate their teachings to be able to grain followers into their church

[83:15]or into the society Islam is the only religion where you and

[83:21]I if you have done the shahada then you need to follow

[83:25]the faith of Islam not make Islam fit us but rather you

[83:30]and I have to make ourselves fit into that faith and you

[83:33]can see around us today that what is happening is that the

[83:39]other faiths are losing their relevance to the society in the needs

[83:42]of the society and to try to make themselves appealing they try

[83:45]to fit around to what is the need of the people how

[83:48]much is going to be there to be stressed see over self

[83:51]for us in Islam it is not a matter of choice it

[83:55]is a matter of submission to Islam to Allah and that is

[84:00]where you and I have a role to be able to play

[84:04]insha Allah we pray to Allah that by the auspiciousness of this

[84:11]night of the Sharif the night of the commencement the inauguration of

[84:17]a beloved prophet and also in this map field where we're recalling

[84:20]the moradiza of Israel Maharaja Ya Allah enable our hearts to be

[84:26]able to be overflowing with the love of the prophet and his

[84:32]Allah we pray to you enable us to be of those who

[84:37]will be holding steadfast to the willia of the Allah grants to

[84:42]all those who are not in good health and Ya Allah give

[84:48]good health long life and protection foreign [Music] for the office of

[85:15]a beloved Prophet make the inauguration of our mawlana become much more

[85:22]faster and enable us to be from those who will be from

[85:47]recall the incident which is going to take place tomorrow the 28th

[85:53]28th night of Raja 28th night of rajab in the year 60
