[30:47]a loud Muhammad [Music] Muhammad for thank you [Music] alhamd mam greetings
[32:35]and felicitations to all of you my dear brothers and sisters and
[32:42]to Imam of our time all together we extend our greetings with
[32:45]a salaat to him the topic uh that we will be discussing
[32:54]tonight is a very crucial very important and very deep topic which
[33:01]is Justice uh and it is also one of the tenants of
[33:11]particularly shei Fai you know we say it's IM and so the
[33:22]same way as how imamat is important to us adalat is also
[33:30]important as well you know you could see and sense the intensity
[33:35]and the uh yes s yes the intensity of it right ad
[33:45]is extension of that's what we say usually we say it's and
[33:55]but adalat and iMat is also added to it making it five
[34:03]so adalat is extension of to and iMat is extension ofat of
[34:12]nabat but how important imamat is to us you know our faith
[34:21]our religion is incomplete without iMat on the same token is adalat
[34:29]as well you know adalat Justice is very important to our ideology
[34:35]to our religion and that is why there is an emphasis on
[34:39]it and obviously you know we know why it has been uh
[34:45]very crucial and important for us because what has you know what
[34:49]had happened to the sh imams What had happened to the right
[34:54]of you know wi we you know uh usur you uh the
[35:02]rights were usurped right the hak was taken away right from the
[35:06]very beginning Imam Hussein Alam for example if you look at it
[35:09]IM Ali if you look at it so all of this kind
[35:14]of uh makes us more Vigilant towards this phenomena towards this reality
[35:23]of Justice which is really good you know and as a matter
[35:27]of fact you know to be intellectual and to be human uh
[35:33]is to be someone who would yearn for justice you know being
[35:45]a human being and not being just is not actually a human
[35:51]you know it is through Justice and its value that we grade
[36:00]or we um appreciate that personality or that individual right from little
[36:11]things to Big you know as we probably define justice as putting
[36:17]plates putting things in its proper place you know that's what Justice
[36:21]is usually defined as right everything should be in harmony Justice there's
[36:28]an equilibrium you know Justice right precise symmetry of things which is
[36:35]very important that's what is reflected in our Mas you know because
[36:40]it relates to our nature you know insan by Nature likes Justice
[36:44]love Justice wants to establish justice later on as we will look
[36:51]at because Justice is quality of H truth and the hak is
[36:54]in us and we have to see H outside so when we
[36:59]see outside balance Harmony symmetry it kind of elevates our soul huh
[37:04]so Justice is is something that is very natural to to us
[37:13]to insan to human being a person who is a who is
[37:15]intellectual he is a just person like I said from little things
[37:23]to Big you know for example you know many of times you
[37:27]may have tried to park your car in a place where another
[37:32]person have parked his place in such a nasty way that he
[37:35]has taken up space for two cars you said doesn't make sense
[37:39]you know is this right and therefore it allows us inshallah when
[37:46]we park our place when we park our car when we take
[37:52]our shoes off when we use our restroom when we are sharing
[37:55]our room with our friend in the Doms and so on and
[37:59]so forth so that we put everything in its proper place Justice
[38:03]right so a person who is Vigilant a person who is watchful
[38:10]you know a person who is careful uh and the more the
[38:16]person is considered to be living as in having that wujud and
[38:21]existence to full the more that person will be just you know
[38:29]having that element of uh you know kindness caring Having the courage
[38:38]to be committed you know to be responsible of and to be
[38:45]responsible of fulfilling the duties what things been given to us all
[38:48]relates to this this phenomena of Justice a just person is a
[38:56]committed person you know especially now obviously this transfers in our relationships
[39:03]you know why we find marriages being broken divorce you know among
[39:13]the family families why because there's no justice being established you know
[39:20]Justice is not there as the justice is not there you know
[39:23]because our it goes against the nature as it goes against the
[39:29]nature it becomes a disequilibrium you there's an imbalance there then naturally
[39:35]one kind of doesn't like wants to be far away wants to
[39:39]do something about it and obviously the first thing comes to our
[39:45]mind is to just cut it off quick decision on something right
[39:52]so it's very important right you know Justice as a reality as
[39:57]a phenomena uh and to all Society in all walks of life
[40:00]not only for us but we as a she you know as
[40:04]follower of school of a have to have a deeper understanding of
[40:10]this phenomena of this reality and we should remind us pecly on
[40:18]the birth of Amir M which is today that he stood for
[40:21]justice you know uh you know if you if if you look
[40:27]at his life you know his end years which were four and
[40:31]a you know odd years where he was the Khalifa where he
[40:34]was in charge you know all these three battles was for justice
[40:40]even if it be against his family members such as the wife
[40:46]of the Prophet for example or others who were there you know
[40:49]when it comes to distribution and many he stood for justice he
[40:54]sacrificed his life for justice now when we we say justice and
[41:02]divine Justice in relation to Amir and also in relation to our
[41:09]life to our s to our life to our family to our
[41:12]community right um we pay attention to the afak you know to
[41:21]the horizons as Allah says that I have placed truth you know
[41:26]within us as well right so when we look outside we find
[41:31]justice of Allah subhana wa tala in nature justice of Allah subh
[41:34]tala in in the cosmos everything is placed in its proper place
[41:41]you know when you look at the nature You Know the Way
[41:47]It Is untouched unless somebody goes and try to do something that
[41:52]destroys the whole thing you know right but when it is natural
[41:56]and when you pay attention to the nature you find that everything
[42:03]is placed in a in its proper place and that is why
[42:06]human beings when they go out in the nature as their inner
[42:13]truth which love Justice it synchronizes with what they see that's why
[42:18]they are at peace when they are in nature that's why they
[42:21]release their tensions and stress and whatnot when what they see injustices
[42:27]being taking place you know in the city in the community in
[42:32]the country you know where they are living they go out so
[42:37]nature is a beautiful example of divine Justice where everything is in
[42:47]its appropriate place that's the definition of Justice right you know things
[42:50]in its proper place but when it comes to Human life or
[42:57]you know Community or Society or human beings there you have the
[43:02]element of rebelling because of the free will because insan we've been
[43:09]given a free will right once that Free Will comes ego comes
[43:14]once that Free Will comes rebellious nature kind of deep you know
[43:22]takes off kicks in and I mean it is natural we are
[43:28]not to be blamed as such because our great-grandfather did the same
[43:32]thing which was Adam you know he rebelled against the heaven right
[43:37]so this is part and parcel of our nature to be rebellious
[43:40]you know that's why in he say oh Allah I complain you
[43:52]of mys because my naps loves entertainment my naps enjoy food my
[43:57]we all do you know we love each other we love ourself
[44:01]more than anything else so just open your phone and look how
[44:06]much how many selfies you have taken of yourself you know you
[44:11]have your own photos more than anybody right so it is very
[44:15]natural so our naps so the justice of Allah you know when
[44:21]it comes to Free Will it's not there we see that balance
[44:28]and that's where it is required by this Free Will itself to
[44:36]synchronize it by implementation of something which is divine and sacred into
[44:42]our life to bring that Justice in US within us and also
[44:49]within the community so when we try to understand and reflect upon
[44:59]that what really Justice is then we look at it for example
[45:07]you know uh after the divine nature if we start investigating you
[45:10]would find there isn't any religion if you want to call or
[45:19]a spiritual thought without acknowledging the importance without paying attention to the
[45:27]value of Justice whether these be the Far Eastern religions such as
[45:35]Confucianism confucious as we just spoke about the Symmetry about the balance
[45:43]about equality you know if you look at if you reflect in
[45:47]the religion of Confucianism you would find that oh so so much
[45:53]of social justice China today what we see today is because of
[45:56]confucious you know he laid that Foundation of of that you know
[46:04]precise nature in doing things having per Perfection right the Chinese art
[46:11]right or for example if you look at you know the Manu
[46:18]of Hinduism which is the law which talks about Justice in Hinduism
[46:22]is very important even if it be for example you have the
[46:27]mahabarata where you know the Brothers are fighting with each other for
[46:33]what for Justice right these are the pre you know old religions
[46:39]that we find Far Eastern religions Buddhism for example where you have
[46:44]the element of karma in Buddhism which indicates to the acknowledgement of
[46:52]justice and once again karma is something which is divine which is
[46:56]metaphysical as we said that justice of God in nature and so
[47:02]on we see within the religions as well that it has transferred
[47:05]it has come within religion the dialogue of Plato how he has
[47:13]discussed Justice to be sacred to be divine in the teachings of
[47:19]pagurus where you find he has talked about Harmony and law which
[47:28]points out to Justice So within the Greek Far Eastern Hinduism they
[47:35]all have reflect upon the sacred law the Divine Law the metaphysical
[47:42]law where things are in its appropriate place and therefore in order
[47:49]for things in this Dunya apart from the nature to be in
[47:51]its appropriate Place One have to follow this law right now when
[48:00]we look at that we find within the Trad within the Islamic
[48:08]tradition narratives from Imam Alam there's a narration which says that the
[48:14]the physical law is actually governed by the metaphysical law and Al
[48:21]in he uses this very metaph physical law as a proof in
[48:28]order the physical law as a proof for the establishment of that
[48:32]metaphysical law for example the law of ownership the law of ownership
[48:42]that this for example is in my hand or this my phone
[48:45]I am the owner of it what makes you believe in that
[48:53]what makes you accept this law of ownership the reason reason why
[48:58]you automatically or naturally accept this as a law within the you
[49:04]know legal system is because this law of ownership is within your
[49:07]nature that Allah is the Malik otherwise you know if you have
[49:14]free will don't accept if you have freedom don't accept that law
[49:19]but no matter where you go this law of ownership is accepted
[49:23]universally is not something that you know few intellectuals have decided this
[49:29]and that's why they have made this law but rather it is
[49:34]something much deeper than that it is based in your very fitra
[49:36]itself to accept that if you are rejecting the reject the law
[49:43]of ownership as well so the physical world is the water is
[49:49]nothing but the watered down version of that metaphysical world but now
[49:55]now as Allah have provided that free will to us that is
[50:01]where we tend to make miscalculation now he has given us the
[50:06]free will but at the same time he has provided us with
[50:13]the scriptures with the canons you know Canon for example as we
[50:18]say you know Canon was actually a term Greek term coined by
[50:21]pgas he was the one who coined that term and that that
[50:27]transferred intoon in Arabic as well right so he has provided that
[50:33]Canon the Pythagoras will say Canon as a law right and we
[50:35]say as a Canon you know as a law now what is
[50:41]this law for in order now see Allah subhana tal out of
[50:45]his Mercy just something you know in the margin for us to
[50:50]discuss Allah out of his Mercy have made certain things waj for
[50:53]us in order that we are saved what fasting as we are
[51:03]approaching the month of fasting our prayers and other things which tend
[51:07]to you know have the element of wuu distribution of inheritance so
[51:13]on and so forth there a lot of things right all in
[51:16]all is for the sake that you fulfill the bare minimum right
[51:24]of being just in in your life of not have not doing
[51:32]zulm upon yourself because zulm is opposite to Justice isn't it oppression
[51:37]is opposite to Justice right zul so by out of his Mercy
[51:43]he has made certain things wajs so that while fulfillment of that
[51:48]is actually the Fulfillment of justice is actually the synchronization of our
[51:58]our our our nature with the law with the activity or with
[52:02]the things or with life basically you know right so that is
[52:08]the purpose of the law and that's why Allah says there inas
[52:11]there isah there's Mercy inas it may look very you know brutal
[52:18]it may look very sort of harsh but within this is Mercy
[52:20]within a of the Quran say within this in is and as
[52:29]we think our discussion a bit further as in rahma as in
[52:37]justice of Allah we find that within [Music] the Asma of Allah
[52:43]tala or within the nature of Allah tala or Justice as a
[52:46]discussion itself which is very crucial and important to us that when
[52:52]we say Allah when we say we say so Justice is is
[52:58]in the very nature of Allah himself Allah is AD as we
[53:04]say there's a Hadi of he says Allah is AD and Allah
[53:08]is ad itself Allah is just and he Justice itself now this
[53:18]reality of him being ad really goes back to his truth which
[53:25]is H Allah is H H is one of that quality or
[53:32]one of the cat of Allah subhana tala which contains within it
[53:38]justice whatsoever is as we said synchronization that truth is in us
[53:46]that fitra that nature right as it synchronizes as is in accordance
[53:52]to the truth then that is just everything everything in its being
[53:56]in its Pro proper appropriate place then it is truthful to itself
[54:04]something being truthful to itself is that okay I am a child
[54:12]and I'm a son I have a father the relationship if I'm
[54:15]truthful in this relationship the way I'm supposed to be I'm being
[54:19]just so that the element or theat or the quality of H
[54:24]and being truthful is very crucial when it comes to Justice now
[54:34]Allah subhana tala is H which also means that Allah subh tala
[54:39]is just and all of his qualities obviously all of hisat are
[54:46]not different from his Z or from himself they're all kind of
[54:49]interrelated to it but the element of H when it comes to
[54:55]justice is very important to reflect upon now it becomes very important
[55:05]for us to understand Justice and to have Justice in our life
[55:17]to have a deeper understanding of the truth of the nature of
[55:24]Allah subhana ta'ala because it is quite strong words of Imam if
[55:35]you help me with aat Muhammad Muhammad where he says ja Al
[55:47]Jafari narrates that Imam R said wanting and mashia willing are attributes
[55:57]of action whoever claims that Allah is eternally wanting and willing is
[56:05]not a monotheist right so it becomes very important if we really
[56:14]want to understand and if you want to have that adala in
[56:17]our life and it's not a easy uh task it's not an
[56:22]easy journey to bring adalat in our life to bring Justice in
[56:24]our life life in that very initial stage for us to bring
[56:31]in Justice in our life and that's why knows that and he
[56:39]says the first thing in religion is marifat is really understanding right
[56:47]what type of existence Allah subhana tala is how beautifully it's been
[56:57]explained when we recite Subhan alhamdulillah this is the now Subhan Allah
[57:09]as in what Subhan Allah as as in Allah is all seeing
[57:14]Subhan Allah as in Allah is all hearing Subhan Allah as in
[57:22]Allah is all knowing Subhan Allah as in Allah is all powerful
[57:30]these are all as in Subhan that's where it begins and as
[57:38]a matter of fact there's a journey of the Soul while you
[57:44]chant these these tasat you know our soul ascends you know Subhan
[57:49]is begins it begins with this plane with this duny Subhan Allah
[57:56]you know you know it's this realm it's this world because that's
[57:58]why when we see something beautiful we say oh Subhan Allah that's
[58:02]what comes to our you know that's what we pronounce to our
[58:08]lips to our heart that's what our heart says Subhan Allah so
[58:13]Subhan Allah as in that why am I discussing this is the
[58:18]importance of knowing Allah in order to understand what Justice is so
[58:28]Subhan Allah is that then you say alhamdulillah alhamdulillah as in that
[58:36]Allah subhana ta'ala is all seeing in the sense that absolute nature
[58:45]Hearing in the absolute nature having that in the absolute nature you
[58:53]know it has that element of not Subhan in the physical sense
[58:58]you know Subhan Allah when you see something physically there's still an
[59:03]there's still an aspect of that physicality to it Subhan Allah but
[59:11]alham is something Beyond physicality you know you pray something you know
[59:16]Subhan Allah is when you see a rose you say Subhan Allah
[59:22]it's nice but this Rose doesn't have any or choice to be
[59:25]Rose as such so that's why it's just Subhan Allah but if
[59:30]you do something right with your you know will with your pains
[59:41]and difficulties and once you finish that you say alhamdulillah you know
[59:46]it's all praise because praising is higher than than glorification praising is
[59:53]where you recognize the artist then you praise Subhan is just Subhan
[60:00]glorification is just you just praise in that way because you know
[60:03]we have difficulty in terms of the translation of English right then
[60:07]alhamdulillah in the sense that his seeing and his hearing and his
[60:12]all of that is very natural to to that existence alhamdulillah he's
[60:19]like that then we say and all of this is hearing seeing
[60:26]and all that you know belongs to that God to that Allah
[60:30]and there is no one of that calb but at the same
[60:36]time you realize and recognize I'm being very very quick in you
[60:39]know explaining this at the same time after saying you say Allah
[60:46]abbar meaning that Allah is even beyond that even Beyond this hearing
[60:49]and power and so on and so forth that's the true reality
[60:53]he's is greater than all of this that I have calculated from
[60:58]Subhan to ham to that is the true understanding of this so
[61:04]you have that Subhan as in plain of this D which is
[61:11]the mul then you have that ham which is that malakut you
[61:17]know then you have the jabarut as in and then you have
[61:24]the Z as in allahar these are the four levels so that
[61:27]continuously chanting of has been prescribed by many Sufi Masters in order
[61:37]for Spiritual wafering is that this Soul kind of travels to all
[61:43]of these Realms so now to know Justice it becomes very important
[61:51]for all of us to Embark upon this journey of knowing the
[61:59]truth knowing the H knowing Allah subhana tala that's why we have
[62:02]the hza so inshallah come join us either prea or hza classes
[62:04]mashallah you know we have some of our students as well here
[62:11]right because there's nothing other than that you know oh insan you
[62:20]are on a journey to meet him how can we meet him
[62:26]without knowing him the more we know him the bre the greater
[62:28]we meet him the more we enjoy this meeting if you know
[62:34]somebody if you have the marifat if you have the understanding who
[62:38]we are meeting then you will enjoy that meeting more then you
[62:42]will benefit from that meeting more then you will ask more things
[62:45]then you will increase your knowledge more if you don't know who
[62:49]you are going to meet you just okay I don't know you
[62:52]know nothing for me there to meet so this is our journey
[63:00]towards Allah which requires knowing him more he gives an abundance those
[63:12]who ask those who do not ask he gives but at least
[63:17]when we are asking we should not only enjoy from what what
[63:20]he's giving but we should also enjoy him that meeting and doing
[63:29]Dua itself is must is the you know as Allah says that
[63:37]opportunity of being with the Beloved itself is acceptance of Dua why
[63:43]do you need some other stuff you know I'm doing Dua for
[63:46]a mobile phone is my me engaging in this mobile phone better
[63:50]or me engaging with my beloved better you see so if this
[63:57]is a distraction but that where Allah is saying I may not
[64:03]be able to achieve this mobile phone as such or what I'm
[64:08]asking as such but I have already achieved what an insan what
[64:13]a human being or what my soul is supposed to be achieving
[64:18]and that is those movement moments that I was with him so
[64:23]therefore it is very important now that we are in the month
[64:26]of rajab look at the duas in the month of rajab why
[64:51]sa of Shak there's a difference in sa of sh sh and
[64:57]ham of Shak those who are that what type of patience we
[65:03]are asking from him a type of patience of those who are
[65:09]always in the state of sh which are no matter what happen
[65:11]but usually what about there a problem difficult alhamdulillah you know there's
[65:18]issues but we still say alhamdulillah we don't do shuk the level
[65:21]of shukar is higher than ham so in the month of rajab
[65:26]what do we ask we ask for this is the month to
[65:33]ask these things these duas are not just for the sake of
[65:35]being in the mafti it's for all of us to recite in
[65:39]the month of rajab when you go to a master of spiritual
[65:45]wafering for some zik oh you know sh give me some zik
[65:46]so my I get mukash or something like that they don't give
[65:53]any extra zik in the month of rajab and Shan and Ramadan
[65:55]they say you know do the duas of the month in order
[66:00]to uplift your spirit other all of thear is for other months
[66:03]to perform maybe or you know the so therefore now I just
[66:13]wanted to remind myself and all of us about these duas of
[66:16]the month of rajab which are very important for us to perform
[66:21]because it is through these duas our heart is open because we
[66:26]know Allah as we are doing Justice through our heart right what
[66:34]what does Allah says if this Quran was revealed upon the mountain
[66:40]the mountain would have but it was revealed upon the heart of
[66:46]man it was revealed upon the heart of the Prophet him as
[66:50]a prototype of insan him as a representation of in it was
[66:57]revealed on it's the heart Allah says that there is no place
[67:04]for me anywhere except that my place is in the heart of
[67:07]a m that's where I reside in the heart of a m
[67:13]this world is a place where there is no no place for
[67:18]me except that in the heart of a woman it is through
[67:23]the heart that we will be able to understand Justice we will
[67:26]be able to understand the truth that's why you have the element
[67:35]in bhagwat Gita where it says that I am seated in the
[67:40]heart of all God says the Hindu god if you want to
[67:43]call and you think that Hindu have many gods unfortunately it's not
[67:50]the case Hindus believe in to you know Allah when he used
[67:52]to come to tan he would have discussions on the upanishads which
[67:59]is the book of Hindus with Henry Corbin and William chitic said
[68:03]Nas Where in bhagwad Gita I am seated in the heart of
[68:09]all that's what it says and we have the same understanding that
[68:16]the heart of a m is a place where God recites right
[68:21]do not you know break someone's heart because Allah in that heart
[68:26]is much powerful than the Caba itself we have that Hadith right
[68:33]so it is this heart which is capable of knowing the truth
[68:41]knowing justice of Allah subhana ta'ala once the heart re recognizes realizes
[68:48]and sees Allah in that fashion where Allah Allah Allah I saw
[69:01]nothing before everything I saw Allah after everything I saw Allah with
[69:07]everything I saw Allah then only the capability and possibility of implementation
[69:13]of Justice will happen will take place that's why Ali was like
[69:17]that where he sees nothing but that the presence of Allah is
[69:23]there so when that presence is there how can we you know
[69:27]do something that is against his will now that you know it's
[69:32]9:00 and the presence of clock is there and I should be
[69:35]finishing you know and the brother is standing there as well you
[69:37]know reminding me know ald yes so it is very important for
[69:48]us to upgrade our understanding of the truth of Allah subhana tala
[69:53]and the presence these things which are there in the Quran are
[69:58]not just fairy tales or poetry where is waj here I see
[70:06]walls and mic and clock where is the waj the Quran is
[70:08]saying wherever you turn there's a face of Allah I cannot see
[70:12]the face of Allah the heart needs to see the face of
[70:14]Allah the heart needs to be purified the heart needs to do
[70:20]that Journey that's the trth true knowledge that Imam sadik says that
[70:28]it's a light that it will be placed in the heart whosoever
[70:31]Allah wishes this is the month to to you know to be
[70:36]like a child like a baby like a cry like a baby
[70:40]and ask Allah to expand our heart so that that light comes
[70:45]and when that light comes you're not the third the wherever you
[70:50]are with you is Allah you feel that presence you have that
[70:57]sweet fragrance you start hearing things the of was in a garden
[71:04]and he was with his student he said all of these crows
[71:08]that are in the garden they were saying but he said I
[71:12]could seear nothing but ill all of them were saying ill it
[71:17]needs that s that ear which that heart is purified isn't it
[71:29]oppression is against Justice although the topic is more you know linking
[71:36]this truth to Justice by knowing Allah I know that which is
[71:42]no God by the Light Of God Amir says that I know
[71:44]God by God I know Allah by Allah that's what in Dua
[71:50]of of imin oh Allah I know you because you showed yourself
[71:55]to me not that I saw the Moon and the Sun and
[71:59]then finally I came to know you I know you directly that
[72:03]sort of mifa that sort of understanding right that is something that
[72:10]is inspired directly from him is meaning what that directly from Allah
[72:18]for human beings the possibility is there but that connection and relationship
[72:23]ship that link and that will happen with practice because Amir says
[72:29]one last Hadith knowledge is linked to action so one who knows
[72:37]acts and knowledge calls for Action now when I am gaining this
[72:43]understanding of the truth of the H then how can it not
[72:50]be implemented and practice and with the mercy of Allah if we
[72:54]and who doesn't have that intention of of going to Allah who
[73:01]doesn't have that intention of the Purity and sincerity and love for
[73:05]the for Imam Hussein that's why we are here we wouldn't be
[73:09]here if it wasn't there yes maybe you know I may have
[73:14]2% you may have 4% maybe there are different levels of it
[73:17]but even this one% that we have is very important and if
[73:23]that is in US then that's what you know will save us
[73:28]and I will share this clip I wasn't planning to but now
[73:33]uh the voice of is good I will share this with you
[73:38]I wasn't planning to do this but I just occurred to me
[73:41]given 1% as we said you know of of that truth if
[73:47]we have yeah uh Muhammad Muhammad there was a Sunni person who
[74:11]would always say bad to Shia he's mentioning this would always say
[74:15]bad he will not like Shia always say bad so his friend
[74:18]was a shi he was going to Naf and he said I'm
[74:22]going to Naf and then he says you go to na he
[74:27]will do nothing for you I'm telling you so that's what he
[74:30]says now went and you came back nothing happened even you know
[74:52]so even now this time when you were going I said nothing
[75:02]will happen go come back you know I I used to hate
[75:06]and this time when you were going for zarat I said go
[75:07]zarat he will do nothing to me you know nothing will happen
[75:11]you know so so he said when he came back his friend
[75:17]said no no no actually something happened I need I went and
[75:30]I complain about you I complain about you then I saw then
[75:37]I had a dream at night and I saw and he said
[75:42]we cannot do anything for him you know against him you know
[75:48]said in his dream to this he has H over us he
[76:00]has right over us this man you know has right over us
[76:05]so this Shia person he says y this man have right over
[76:07]you you know he curses all the Shia and now this time
[76:12]he even disrespected you before I left before I came and now
[76:14]you are saying he has H over and then a thought came
[76:43]to his mind while he was sitting on near the euph that
[76:46]you know what difference it would have been made that they should
[76:52]have given him little water and killed him for for Imam Hussein
[76:55]what difference it would have made just a little water should have
[76:58]been given to to to to Imam Hussein they killed him thirsty
[77:03]that's what he thought while sitting on the fat this it came
[77:14]from his heart and just a bit of tear came in his
[77:17]eyes in he says this little thing this his heart broke and
[77:32]that tear came in his eyes and this became the H for
[77:37]us we cannot do anything against him this man so this man
[77:42]he this was mentioned to him in the dream so he goes
[77:47]back to this Sunni friend and he says this that you know
[77:50]this is what happened in the dream he says allahar how I
[77:55]told nobody this thing that happened to me nobody knew nobody was
[78:01]there how come then he was shocked that you know it was
[78:05]relate to his friend in a Dream from Amir and that he
[78:10]has H then he accepted Shia Islam muham thank you very much
[78:20]everyone hello hello thank you for that beautiful and insightful lecture uh
[78:28]we can open up for the brothers or sisters to ask some
[78:31]questions for the next 10 minutes and inshallah we have some pizza
[78:35]as well that we've ordered so you can help yourselves afterwards as
[78:39]well who would like to kick off with a question salum um
[78:48]you mentioned that uh Allah is in the hearts of the Believers
[78:54]right so how can we listen to our hearts as as opposed
[78:56]to being Guided by our mind and being led astray by our
[79:01]mind uh astray by the mind if we in I mean uh
[79:07]intellectualize if we use our to understand him more and more you
[79:13]know to have his presence in our life through understanding him through
[79:17]knowing him uh then uh you know we are in the going
[79:23]in the right direction ction and that's why you would find that
[79:26]you knowah m Kashmir who was a student of Ali they asked
[79:32]him did said Kazi paid attention to the lessons of the HOSA
[79:38]Kashmir said never he never paid attention to the lessons that's why
[79:44]you know my my students they become very happy you know when
[79:47]I mention this story to them because he says that you know
[79:50]is the you know becomes a hijab even uh but the heart
[79:59]not you know and that's what we see in when when the
[80:06]prophet went you know said I can't do go any further but
[80:09]theb of the Prophet went where Prophet saw Ali because Ali andb
[80:14]and heart you know that relationship and jibra is the you know
[80:21]jbra is the intellect of the prophet it you know that's how
[80:26]the Angelic realm connects because angels are pure a you know when
[80:30]they saw Adam they say oh you know this going to do
[80:31]this that and the other right that's pure angels are pure so
[80:37]goes to a certain level you know and then it becomes a
[80:41]hijab and that's where the heart comes you know that's where the
[80:44]heart goes and that's why all the element of ish the element
[80:51]of Love is related to heart more than you know Imam Hussein
[80:55]Journey was the Journey of the heart was a journey of is
[80:57]and love so the must um you know help the heart uh
[81:07]because the possibility of heart easily being deviated is there where the
[81:14]AK comes and is strong and gives that proof you know for
[81:19]example you know if I have diabetes my heart would want to
[81:21]eat sugar but the comes as a no you know so it
[81:25]they should you know cooperate and coordinate with each other for that
[81:30]plight umam Alum uh thank you for the lecture first um I
[81:36]had a quick question about the topic of justice that you were
[81:39]explaining at the beginning and having things in harmony so you mentioned
[81:45]a lot about the advantages of being with Justice and with Harmony
[81:48]do you have any of the examples maybe From quranic perspective as
[81:52]well what happens when we break the Harmony and the insan uses
[81:57]his Free Will in the wrong direction and what does like Allah
[82:00]in the Quran say about this there's a famous ay which talks
[82:06]about you know you know it ends up with they have the
[82:15]heart but with this they don't you know they don't understand with
[82:21]the heart you know they have they have ears they don't listen
[82:23]they have eyes they don't see you know they have heart and
[82:26]they don't really understand with their heart but they are like animals
[82:35]no no they are worse than animals you know so that's where
[82:38]you have that element of they are listening they are watching but
[82:41]they are you know they they are not understanding with their heart
[82:47]you know uh because they are not listening to the truth they're
[82:49]not watching you know the reality you know something is showed to
[82:53]them you know and it's not been downloaded to their heart to
[82:58]to understand this what they are seeing and then therefore this type
[83:01]of heart you know is is a is is a heart without
[83:03]Justice is a heart without without light right um so uh when
[83:12]this heart synchronizes with the truth then it and and us usually
[83:16]if you look at the uh you know heart of the of
[83:20]the Youth of the shabab of the you know that's why what
[83:21]we find today you know millions of people marching in support of
[83:26]of of of Gaza and Injustice that has been taking place right
[83:30]uh so that's where it's with the heart you know where the
[83:35]AK may say oh you know they may do this they may
[83:38]do that but the heart says no you know all to all
[83:39]of these people who are in support yeah yes so you uham
[83:51]um you mentioned like Divine Justice and for example Divine Justice being
[83:57]in in nature um sometimes when you come to the physical world
[84:03]what just like you can be in situations where Justice is not
[84:06]necessarily as clear how do you navigate towards that Justice or how
[84:13]do you try and like when things are not very crystal clear
[84:16]and things are not so black and white how do you get
[84:18]to that Justice yes very important question because many of times especially
[84:22]the Muslim world where they have they they comprehend zero of what
[84:30]Justice is and they want to implement Justice in the most hideous
[84:34]and heinous way right no very rude way they say oh this
[84:40]is the hook of Allah which we saw with the K type
[84:42]of thing right which but at the same time is a claiming
[84:48]that there's Justice and you know uh uh so when we look
[84:51]at the life of Amir you know the element of forbearance right
[84:57]the element of forgiveness Mercy in his life but at the same
[85:03]time establishment of justice is there too you know uh like for
[85:11]example if if that's the case uh if the H was with
[85:13]him and to get the H is something that is that one
[85:21]may think that oh this is just you know even if Ali
[85:24]alisam was being killed he should have stood up and taken you
[85:30]know his his you know his it's against Justice not to do
[85:38]his zul but on the contrary we see you know no he
[85:41]did not you know at that time Justice was was that he
[85:46]kind of be forbear I mean 10 years of Abu Bakr 10
[85:52]years of Usman four years of Omar 14 years you know he
[85:57]was there with the truth with the H and was implementing Justice
[86:04]at the same time but when it when the time comes for
[86:06]him being the Khalifa and then over there as well you know
[86:12]he was very patient you know there are many sort of stories
[86:14]for example uh you know there were two young people throwing the
[86:21]seeds of the date on Amir M as he was passing by
[86:22]and in terms of Justice he could have done something you know
[86:26]hook towards these people who are disrespecting nobody really recognized they didn't
[86:28]really recognize him as you know Ali and they say oh the
[86:32]shopkeeper said you know who this man was you know that story
[86:34]then he was praying forgive them he was praying for them right
[86:39]or for example a person comes to him and say I have
[86:43]done such and such act he says go away you know nobody
[86:45]have seen you go away then he comes in again two times
[86:48]or three times or fourth time he comes and he said now
[86:50]he you know he just wanted to let go you know that
[86:55]forgiveness where Allah also have that you know you know we pray
[87:02]to Allah that from his F from his Mercy from his kindness
[87:04]not with his ad you know if it's with his ad we
[87:09]will be I don't know where you know or we recite in
[87:16]the Z of because are the Misan they are the just they
[87:22]are the balance where our Amal will be you know judged in
[87:26]accordance to their Amal right so this is a bit of a
[87:32]warning for us it's a wakeup call for us you know our
[87:37]Amal where and their Amal where you know right so but at
[87:40]the same time you have the aspect of sha you have the
[87:44]aspect the greatest thing on the Amal will be salaat you know
[87:46]and the element of you know rewards that's been given out of
[87:50]mercy so Justice is there you know and we also when we
[87:55]are implementing it in our life first and is where for you
[88:03]know when it comes to myself as in very harsh than we
[88:05]have seen in the life of and the they were very harsh
[88:10]when it comes to their own naps right uh you know uh
[88:16]so that's where it begins you know as in practically speaking to
[88:19]with myself you know this dun avoiding it avoid voiding it avoidance
[88:24]but not avoiding to the extent where it becomes a a Nuance
[88:31]for my wife for my children for my family for my community
[88:35]for my friends you know uh no then Justice is pleasing them
[88:41]Justice is taking care of them right so it's kind of like
[88:45]that you know then is the community then educating the community you
[88:48]know to have that Justice within the community itself our community is
[88:53]so so unfortunately you know our elders you know you guys are
[88:56]not but I'm pretty sure you guys are facing the same issues
[89:01]you know when it comes to marriages that we see today you
[89:03]know for example an Iraqi sister wants to marry a Pakistani brother
[89:11]is oh he Pakistan Pak Pak Hindi you know the parents are
[89:14]not Hindi you know or some he's black he's you know or
[89:19]you know I'm more white and all of this you know is
[89:21]against Justice is not you know a is community a Muslim Community
[89:27]is not like that unfortunately we see this so I think we
[89:31]have to start with with us harsh being harsh on us in
[89:36]a way but not to the extent from a practical point of
[89:38]view that you know we we uh what do you call um
[89:45]we hurt us spiritually and also mentally and also physically you know
[89:49]because there are levels you know that the way things should be
[89:56]done gradually you know yeah I hope it kind of helped a
[89:58]bit yeah any last question otherwise we'll wrap up yes thiss have
[90:19]always been used interchangeably sometimes they say some sometimes they say R
[90:28]sometimes they say but has that more of a one would be
[90:30]inclined towards Soul towards naps na R is more of an you
[90:40]know R is pure and is also very pure so R is
[90:44]more of an right but our is also contaminated you know there's
[90:48]a Hadith by which I mentioned last night very brief briefly that
[90:55]you know praising knowledge youth uh uh all of these things are
[91:06]uh if somebody Praises somebody if somebody thinks he Mal all of
[91:11]these things are like pungent fragrance smell uh in it and it
[91:17]will uh undermine the a of insan if I'm like oh I'm
[91:23]not knowledgeable one you know if I'm like that if I'm the
[91:26]young person or I'm the have the or I have the Mal
[91:30]if this type of thing I have in my naps in myself
[91:32]then all of these things will will undermine my so is not
[91:38]like Ru in terms of always like pure pure you know it
[91:40]could be contaminated by by many things that one have to be
[91:48]careful uh you know because our is is is is contaminated with
[91:52]with you know with the it's influenc by the surrounding by many
[91:56]things by things that we do so so if we purify them
[92:00]all then it becomes that H because Imam kazim says Allah have
[92:07]given two H one is H in you which is the and
[92:07]one is Hu which is outside which are theia and the imams
[92:12]so now as my may get contaminated I should see whether it
[92:18]is in line with the Ambia so if it is not in
[92:20]line then my have rusted then I have to be that's why
[92:24]Allah gave two huets one outside one within and for those where
[92:27]theia have not reached their is sufficient enough like in jungles of
[92:31]Amazon so on and so forth and they act upon their Allah
[92:35]will judge them accordingly yes so inshah we'll conclude the program I
[92:39]think thank you very much thank you very much for your knowledge
[92:41]she and for those who don't know the she he teaches at
[92:45]the Islamic College just down the road or around the corner from
[92:47]here so you can definitely inquire about uh courses within the within
[92:53]the Islamic College there's sometimes short Houser courses or classes that you
[92:57]can join so if you really enjoyed today's lecture um you could
[93:00]definitely inquire and reach out to the she as well so we'll
[93:06]conclude inshallah with du with brother [Music] alll [Music] Al am Al
[93:59]am Al [Music] am [Music] [Music] h [Music] [Music] Muhammad so there's
[95:20]plenty of pizza you can can help yourself to more than one
[95:23]and
