[0:32]best of his creation the symbol of humanity the holy prophet muhammad

[0:41]sallallahu alayhi wa ala along with Aliana and may God's peace and

[0:46]blessings be upon the pure progeny of the idol bait especially the

[0:51]leader of our time the awaited Saviour and Imam al-mahdi adjure allahu

[0:57]ta'ala firaga may Allah hastened his reappearance and make us all amongst

[1:09]us sincere and dedicated servants as we continue our series into exploring

[1:15]natural Barada the peak of eloquence tonight we come across sermon 193

[1:26]and natural banana we have talked about the features that we have

[1:32]in natural banana we discuss the types of speeches that are found

[1:37]in this amazing book this eloquent book which has been described as

[1:42]being below the words of the Creator and above the words of

[1:52]the creation on this evening we come across verse sermon 193 which

[1:57]is called hot metal muta peen the sermon that discusses the attributes

[2:06]of the pious ones those who have taqwa those who have piety

[2:12]those who are mindful of allah subhanahu wata'ala the story that's behind

[2:19]this sermon is that's one of the Companions of Amir al-mumineen aleihsalaam

[2:24]by the name of her mom her mom was a pious man

[2:29]he was known to be one of those eight very humble and

[2:37]aesthetic people of his time in early Islam there were eight people

[2:41]who were well known for their piety and for their humbleness for

[2:45]their simple lifestyle one of them for example was always al-quran e

[16:04]know this tongue that we have we have a hadith that says

[16:21]tongue and hence allah subhanho to Allah has sealed the tongue behind

[16:36]how your tongue is created and how its situated in your body

[17:22]we drive no the believers are those who will wear what's appropriate

[17:29]they're not too extravagant and they're not teaching a pious person is

[17:33]also one who's not too cheap they wear what's appropriate they're not

[17:39]obsessed if they wear something nice appropriate for the occasion they're not

[17:46]obsessed with it it doesn't make them feel good if find myself

[17:50]that if I wear nice fancy clothes and that makes me feel

[17:55]good about myself realize I have an issue if you need a

[17:58]piece of cloth to make yourself feel good about yourself imagine how

[18:02]much you've lowered yourself to a piece of cloth I need this

[18:08]material thing which is probably made in China somewhere or Taiwan or

[18:12]Indonesia that's not even worth more than ten dollars but because it

[18:16]carry as a brand on it now it's $200 I need that

[18:20]to make myself feel good about myself that's not a true pious

[18:23]believer in God yes you could wear what's appropriate for the occasion

[18:28]you could wear something nice but don't be obsessed with it we

[25:51]beneficial or is it a complete waste of time one of the

[25:58]qualities of the believers is that they only will lend their ears

[26:01]and eyes to that which is beneficial they do not waste any

[26:08]time now this is only TV when you factor in YouTube and

[26:11]the internet Allah knows how much time they waste some of our

[26:17]youth they're addicted to YouTube they go on YouTube they're just watching

[26:20]one video but then you know one video leads to the other

[26:22]video to the other video to the other video you look at

[26:25]the watch you realize three hours you're just watching YouTube videos yes

[26:28]some of those videos are good and educational but most of them

[26:32]are what a complete waste of life and they darken the heart

[26:39]well what a fool as my home island not very long then

[26:45]the Imam an assalam says no zealot and foster home in home

[26:58]pious ones is that you will find that they have a constant

[27:01]state whether in difficulty or whether in good times does that apply

[27:23]things are bad when the economy is down when I'm suffering from

[27:39]complain a pious one you see his self is exactly in the

[27:46]same state whether in good times or in bad times he could

[27:52]be going through the worst tragedy of his life but you see

[27:57]him smiling you see him with a wonderful attitude that same attitude

[28:03]that he had in good times he will carry that attitude in

[28:08]bad times as well this is one of those qualities of the

[28:11]believers so this is the first set of qualities then the Imam

[28:17]Ali Sarah moves to the second set of qualities in this second

[28:21]set of qualities the imam ali salam begins to discuss how the

[28:29]true pious ones yearned for allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala how much they miss

[28:33]their Creator you know what the Imam says what a powerful phrase

[28:38]while on a general leve ketab Allah who I am if it

[28:46]weren't for that fixed period of time of life that Allah subhana

[28:50]WA Ta'ala has given them if it wasn't for that term of

[28:54]life which Allah Subhanahu WA has given them lemon testicle our home

[29:09]a certain amount of time on this life they stay alive otherwise

[29:13]the pious ones they yearn for God so much such that their

[29:18]spirit wants to depart their body it's as if they want to

[29:26]fly they consider this body a prison for them they feel their

[29:30]soul is locked up in this prison every moment if they could

[29:35]they would depart this body and fly towards God that's how the

[29:42]believers are but the only way that's getting in the way the

[29:45]only thing that gets in the way of having them leave this

[29:51]body is the will of Allah Spano - Allah has willed for

[29:53]this person to live 70 years he has to live in 70

[30:00]years otherwise if they could die they would have died if they

[30:04]could separate their souls from their bodies they would have done so

[30:08]because that's how much they long for the Almighty God that's how

[30:12]much show they have for Allah subhana wa tada for them this

[30:18]body is a prison that on that locks them and the moment

[30:24]of death for them is the true freedom isn't this why why

[31:07]Imam says those who are in love with God use that they

[31:10]have no appetite to eat anything or drink they eat and drink

[31:16]it could be delicious food like the wonderful food that we have

[31:21]here every night alhamdulillah for iftar but they have no real appetite

[31:26]their real joy is with God it's not with the food they

[31:31]eat the food because they have to survive not because they find

[31:34]joy in eating food that's not the real joy in life for

[31:40]many people their most joyful moment is in the restaurant when they

[31:44]go out for dinner right that's their most joyful moment you know

[31:47]many of us here in the West when we travel let's say

[31:50]you go to Europe you go to France you go to Paris

[31:51]what's the highlight of your trip besides the Eiffel Tower and besides

[31:55]those museums what's the what's the highlight the restaurants you go to

[32:02]the fanciest restaurants and you pay top dollar for that food and

[32:06]you enjoy every bit of that food it's fine you can enjoy

[32:07]food in life a believer can enjoy food and thank Allah for

[32:13]that food but that's not the real joy the real joy is

[32:17]with allah subhanaw taala but you see them that's how they are

[32:20]their true joys with a bada when they stand in the middle

[32:24]of the night and they communicate with their Lord that's their joy

[32:27]have you seen someone who's in love I've seen many of our

[32:33]youth sometimes they come to me and they ask for help because

[32:35]some of them are severely depressed just last month someone called me

[32:40]from Europe and she was suffering she had fallen in love with

[32:44]someone it didn't work out and she was so depressed and suffering

[32:49]you know what this love teaches us of course this is superficial

[32:52]love this is not the real love number one when you fall

[32:57]in love like that and this is advice to our youth and

[32:58]some of the elderly too you know elderly of our community can

[33:05]also fall in love sometimes this is not only something that's reserved

[33:08]for the youth it can happen to anyone but when you find

[33:11]yourself in that stage realize a few things number one there's a

[33:18]gap in your heart there's a void in your heart that needs

[33:22]to be filled because la has created the heart of the human

[33:25]being with a tendency to love and be loved realize that there

[33:31]is a void that I have not filled this void properly when

[33:37]you don't fill your hearts with the love of God then what

[44:32]their hearts this will give them comfort if you see anyone in

[44:35]society suffering from depression share with them this information tell them that
