Anger is a very powerful emotional state that can possibly lead to regretful decisions and detrimental consequences, yet can also be of great benefit and help in certain circumstances. In this lecture, Sayed Mohammed Baqer Al-Qazwini examines various triggers of Anger whilst distinguishing it into two separate mediums, the first being justified/positive anger in instances were rights are being defended and red lines are drawn against immoralities, and the second being unjustified anger which arises from a multitude of factors such as ignorance, jealousy, arrogance in addition to contemporary phenomenons like social media. Verse of The Discussion: “And those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, and when they are angry, they forgive” - Surat Al-Shura, Verse 37 ______________________________________________________________ Al-Rasoul Islamic Society | The Month of Ramadan 1437 - 2016
