[0:01]regime Bismillah alhamdulillah foreign that mentioned the issue of the change of

[1:06]the Qibla and then we went on to another vital event which

[1:15]took place in the second year after migration and that was the

[1:23]joyful blessed event of Imam Ali and Saida Fatima's marriage an event

[1:30]that caused rasulallah the angels and the Believers to rejoice and continues

[1:39]to cause the Believers to Rejoice a blessed marriage that was the

[1:45]ideal marriage and we said that we're going to present narrations speaking

[1:54]about the marriage of Imam Ali and said of Fatima Ali him

[1:59]and we're going to analyze these narrations because there are many lessons

[2:04]many lessons we can derive by simply looking at what happened in

[2:13]their marriage or after their marriage through that blessed marriage they taught

[2:28]us uh several lessons several vital issues one of which is what

[2:35]should we look for when we are getting married what should be

[2:42]our goal for example what are important things that we should not

[2:47]disregard when it comes to marriage and what are insignificant matters that

[2:52]we should disregard if someone simply analyzes the narrations speaking about their

[3:03]marriage and also their Miracle life how did Imam Ali treat side

[3:10]of Fatima and vice versa then he will learn all of the

[3:18]issues that we just mentioned we began last week if you remember

[3:24]with a tradition in the book imama which mentioned what happened when

[3:29]Imam Ali sought say the Fatima's hand and we read part of

[3:34]the tradition but we did not complete it tonight inshallah we're going

[3:37]to complete it so just to summarize what we've said until now

[3:45]we mentioned that based on on the tradition of course uh Imam

[3:50]Ali came to the prophet sallallahu alaihi and the prophet asked Imam

[3:56]Ali if he was interested in marriage and the Imam said his

[4:03]messenger know best and the Imam says that he feared losing Fatima

[4:09]meaning he feared not getting married to say the Fatima alaihissalam and

[4:15]instead of marrying Fatima mirroring some other lady from quraish we said

[4:21]that rasulullah and said new that ultimately Ali was willing to marry

[4:33]Fatima and Fatima was willing to marry Ali and Ali only salaam

[4:42]Allah but when the Imam says that he feared losing Fatima and

[4:48]he assumed rasulullah was going to marry him to a lady from

[4:53]quraish we said he was speaking from a third person perspective as

[4:57]in if someone a third person was there he would have made

[5:03]that assumption and so after that short dialogue between them they separated

[5:13]shortly after rasulullah summoned Imam Ali the Imam came to him and

[5:19]the prophet was rejoicing but he was rejoicing greatly such that Imam

[5:24]Ali says I never saw the prophet rejoicing to that extent and

[5:31]the prophet told him that Allah had taken care of Ali's marriage

[5:38]or Ali's marital issue meaning Allah had commanded the prophet sallallahu alaihi

[5:43]to Mary the light to the light that's where we stopped I

[5:56]sent you part of the tradition so we stopped at the part

[6:01]that says facultu this is where we continue so I told him

[6:20]how did this happen o messenger of Allah what happened foreign came

[6:43]to me assalam and he had two types of plants or flowers

[6:52]from heaven he brought them to me and he gave them to

[6:58]me to Huma so I took those two plants or two flowers

[7:06]and I smelt them these were from what from heaven at that

[7:20]point the fragrance of Musk stemmed from those two plants or flowers

[7:28]then he took it from me I told him what is the

[7:41]issue Behind These two plants or flowers as in what are you

[7:47]trying to tell me what's the message that you are conveying or

[7:50]what do you want to tell me foreign to beautify what al-jinan

[8:26]to beautify all the Gordons of Heaven to beautify them and decorate

[8:33]them this gesture in itself indicates uh this command in itself indicates

[8:39]that a very big uh event is about to happen very important

[8:47]event is about to take place I'm not sure if you remember

[8:52]it but last week when we narrated The the tradition about Imam

[8:59]Al hussain's birth we mentioned based on the book Medina Till maharajas

[9:07]by Sayed that Allah the guardian of Heaven to beautify and decorate

[9:21]heaven why in honor of Imam hussain's birth one issue I'd like

[9:31]to comment on at this point is realize here how he says

[9:40]is the plural of Jannah and Jannah is the word uh we

[9:50]use in Arabic in reference of what heaven it's what we call

[9:56]heaven so the Abode of Peace the Abode of reward and the

[9:59]Hereafter on the day of judgment the Abode of ultimate pleasure peace

[10:07]comfort now here one might ask how many jannahs are there because

[10:17]here the tradition says and sometimes the Quran mentions it says so

[10:26]how many Heavens are there well there's one heaven there's one Heaven

[10:33]one Jannah but that heaven is composed of what composed of different

[10:39]levels and it's very spacious much bigger than you imagine much bigger

[10:46]than we can imagine it's a humongous enormous and so it has

[10:53]a lot of parts these parts in heaven are called what jannat

[10:58]or Jinan so it's similar to Earth right um in Arabic the

[11:09]Earth is called what al-art if you have a small piece of

[11:16]land what do you call that you also call it art so

[11:20]although it's a small piece of land say for example it's uh

[11:25]you know um its sizes let's say one meter squared right or

[11:32]one kilometer squared whatever when you have a small piece of land

[11:37]you call it although the whole planet is also called the Abode

[11:46]of peace is one about it's one heaven but it consists of

[11:53]many levels and at the same time at its very spacious so

[11:58]it has lots of parts it can be divided into lots of

[12:06]Parts hence that Jannah does not contain only one Gordon one Jannah

[12:13]rather it contains Jinan Gordon's janat Gordons so it says the inhabitants

[12:30]of Heaven to do what to beautify and decorate all of Heaven

[12:58]says I don't know let me send you the next part of

[13:08]the tradition foreign s to be shaken something that shakes or awakens

[14:02]other things so that wind Allah commanded it to be what blown

[14:12]in heaven and so was blown in heaven and it carried with

[14:28]it various types of fragrance various types of perfume and fragrance and

[14:46]he commanded ilhur to do what to recite the two chapters and

[14:52]Yasin and so they began reciting those two chapters in a loud

[14:59]voice Muhammad foreign the tradition does not mention who is that someone

[15:24]is it himself is it is it doesn't mention but it says

[15:32]someone made a call all right saying that surely today is the

[15:41]day of Fatima and Ali is banquet why is there a banquet

[15:47]because they're going to get married because Allah chose to Mary Ali

[15:57]and Fatima to each other thus he says foreign bear in mind

[16:19]that one of the most one of the recommended Deeds is to

[16:24]have a a banquet when there is a wedding and we will

[16:29]get to that inshallah when we read other Traditions regarding the uh

[16:34]the wedding of inside of Fatima meaning their wedding on Earth Salaam

[16:40]up until now we're mentioning events that happened in the world of

[16:46]the angels in heaven by law then Allah sent a white cloud

[17:09]in heaven he sent it to do what and that white cloud

[17:19]began pouring a precious stones on the people on the inhabitants of

[17:24]Heaven began pouring pearls and Ruby and zabergent so it began pouring

[17:43]precious stones on the people of Heaven does this remind you of

[17:47]anything yes it reminds us of what people do in our current

[17:52]world when there's a wedding and you have for example the groom

[17:56]and the bride there you know going home and you see people

[18:00]throwing for example maybe candy or certain types of food in in

[18:10]some In some cultures they throw certain types of food nothing that

[18:14]you know Makes Your Clothes dirty but they they throw certain foods

[18:20]or candy on the people or on the bride and the groom

[18:26]and so he says Jannah and he commanded the servants in heaven

[18:40]to collect these precious stone precious stones bear in mind that just

[18:52]as there are in heaven they're also what servants the servants in

[18:59]and Quran commanded one of the Angels whose name was rahil to

[19:14]perform a sermon and so he delivered a sermon that was so

[19:22]unique the inhabitants of the sky had not heard a sermon similar

[19:26]to it they had not heard a sermon similar to that sermon

[19:30]some foreign then Allah made a call saying all my angels o

[19:49]inhabitants of my heaven Bless The Marriage of Fatima daughter of Muhammad

[19:56]and Ali son of Abit which could possibly mean perform a Dua

[20:03]and say Ya Allah bless their marriage make their marriage a blessed

[20:07]marriage indeed there was no marriage in in the history of of

[20:14]mankind more blessed than that marriage the marriage of Ali and Fatima

[20:21]from that marriage came 11 imams the first being Ali the first

[20:29]of the eleven being al-hasan bin Ali and the last being Sharif

[20:34]from that marriage foreign and plenty of other awliya and Noble Scholars

[21:03]such as Sharif and also Noble and Pious mind foreign for I

[21:35]have married the lady I love most to the man I love

[21:43]most after Muhammad so Allah's two favorite Creations after Muhammad decreed that

[21:54]he will marry them to each other foreign addresses of course Imam

[22:15]Ali is the one who asked the prophet right he asked him

[22:19]what happened ya rasulullah and so that he told him so and

[22:24]so now the prophet tells the Imam Abshire Abshire Glad Tidings Glad

[22:35]Tidings Fatima Allah give me just one second sorry so he tells

[23:03]him he tells him that I've married you to my daughter Fatima

[23:24]Salaam just as Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala married you to Fatima Salaam

[23:34]in the sky or in the world of the Angels from over

[23:42]his throne he says here we need to remember that Allah is

[23:52]not physical and so he because he is not physical and he

[23:57]is not limited not bound to time or space that means a

[24:03]lot Allah does not physically sit on a throne but remember we've

[24:08]said this many times there is something called the throne there is

[24:12]a creation Allah created and he calls it the throne it is

[24:19]meaning the throne that's attributed linked to Allah now when the Hadith

[24:25]says from over his throne what we can understand is that the

[24:34]command came from there so the command was brought down from Over

[24:44]the throne of God azawajal although Allah himself although Allah azzawajal is

[24:48]not confined to any time or space this is similar to how

[24:57]the Islamic commands were brought down on rasulullah from where from the

[25:04]sky chose to uh bring down Islam from the sky to the

[25:15]Earth with his commands so he may bestow those commands on Allah

[25:24]so he tells them foreign meaning just as Allah in the world

[25:42]of the angels I may review to her in this world in

[25:50]the world of the human beings and the jinns I am pleased

[25:56]that both of you receive what Allah chose for you both whatever

[26:11]Allah was pleased to give you both he tells him that you

[26:21]um you can go to your wife right meaning you have you

[26:28]are married from now from now you are married to Fatima Salaam

[26:42]and so you can be with Fatima tazara then he tells him

[27:02]Ali you believe which means he tells him it suffices you it

[27:14]is enough for you that I am pleased with your marriage that

[27:21]I am pleased with your marriage as in you don't need anyone

[27:27]else's approval you don't need anyone else's pleasure why does the prophet

[27:33]says possibly because there were people who were not pleased with the

[27:40]marriage of Ali and Fatima Ali Hima salaam hence if you read

[27:46]the Traditions about their marriage and what happens after the wedding you

[27:51]find that certain women were speaking negatively about Imam Ali Ali is

[27:59]such that they made Fatima cry rasulullah enters upon her and sees

[28:06]her crying after she gets married to Imam Ali Ali him why

[28:10]Imam Ali never made Cry unless he made her cry out of

[28:18]Happiness right the women the jealous women the envious woman they would

[28:23]they they talked about Imam Ali in a negative way trying to

[28:30]put down Emirates telling Fatima that rasulullah married you to a poor

[28:35]man someone who's poor yes subhanallah subhanallah you hear these words today

[28:44]right you hear them these words were said about you to someone

[28:49]who's poor someone who does not have money and so not everyone

[28:56]was pleased with that marriage the prophet tells you don't need anyone

[29:04]else's approval or pleasure it's enough that rasulullah is pleased because Allah

[29:10]is pleased Allah is pleased let me send you the next part

[29:38]of the tradition Al of Allah have I reached such a high

[30:02]position such that I am mentioned amongst the inhabitants of Heaven does

[30:08]Imam Ali know the answer to that question of course he knows

[30:12]but he asks so we may know he asks so those envious

[30:22]Muslims or so-called Muslims may know during his time so he tells

[30:31]them that have I reached a high status to the point that

[30:36]I mentioned in front of the uh I mentioned amongst the inhabitants

[30:41]of heaven and such that Allah married me too in the world

[30:54]of the Angels meaning he you know he he made a declaration

[30:58]in front of the Angels telling them Allah foreign a particular slave

[31:24]of his he will honor him with what no eye has seen

[31:27]no ear has heard and no mind has imagined meaning he will

[31:33]honor him through the blessings of Heaven this was a short a

[31:40]concise answer of course your status is high enough to be mentioned

[31:55]in front of the inhabitants of Heaven in fact his status is

[32:03]the highest status after Allah if you remember we um narrated once

[32:15]also being in this class or the Quran class I forgot right

[32:20]now the narration about the lights and how the angels originated from

[32:30]what from the light of Amir al-mumini his light was used by

[32:35]Allah to make the angels let me send you I believe this

[32:52]is the last part of the tradition yes this is the last

[32:56]part foreign thank you for the blessing that you've bestowed upon me

[33:19]foreign and you want to participate in the supplication as well you

[33:38]say what you say I mean meaning yeah Allah answer his supplication

[33:47]this is the last part of this tradition but it's a very

[33:53]very important part and most likely if not in this month the

[33:58]month of Shaban in the near future inshallah we're going to focus

[34:04]on the substance of this part of the traditional um that when

[34:25]I came to the messenger of Allah and I sought Fatima's hand

[34:32]alaihissalam from him he asked me what can you give me as

[34:41]in what can you give Fatima as her dowry so here Allah

[34:50]to give a dowry to asaida Zara by doing that rasulullah is

[35:00]teaching us that having a dowry in marriages correct it's fine there's

[35:08]nothing wrong in it but now how expensive should the tower be

[35:13]that is the question how expensive should the Dowry be if we

[35:21]read the narrations not one or two narrations many narrations you find

[35:29]that they tell us the cheap dowry is the good Dowry I

[35:36]repeat the cheap dowry the one that's not too expensive is the

[35:41]good one the expensive Dowry is the bad dowry avoid that now

[35:49]in the outer world you see something else but right now we're

[35:54]talking what what is so the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam he asks

[36:02]the Imam that what can you give us as a dowry meaning

[36:15]I can only give you I only have three things I only

[36:22]have three things my camel my horse and my uh my armor

[36:31]or Shield now in another narration he mentions instead of the horse

[36:40]he mentions his sword the sword so he tells him the prophet

[36:46]tells him it doesn't ask for the horse you need it you

[36:55]cannot let go of it because you're gonna need it to fight

[36:59]to fight in the path of Allah as you defend rasulullah and

[37:02]defend Islam as you defend the truth ya Ali and as for

[37:11]your camel you also need it to transport and carry your wife

[37:17]and or your family okay [Music] ask for your camel you needed

[37:32]to transport your wife or your family members and to carry them

[37:38]on it ask for The Shield or the armor that will be

[37:43]your diary Allah has Mary Jude of Fatima Salaam and has accepted

[37:54]The Shield or the armor tibidi the Dowry for that marriage now

[38:02]the question remains how expensive was The Shield or the or the

[38:07]the armor and so the Imam says so I at that point

[38:19]I left the Gathering I separated from rasulallah and The Shield or

[38:26]the armor was on my left shoulder have to ilas and I

[38:35]went to the market and I sold that Shield or armor for

[38:43]400 silver coins so he sold it for 400 silver coins and

[38:58]they these coins were you know of a special type of a

[39:04]specific type of coin hence he says now other Traditions indicate that

[39:16]the Dowry of Ali and Fatima Salaam was 500 silver coins 500

[39:22]silver coins but in all cases whether it was 400 silver coins

[39:33]or 500 silver coins it does not make a major difference why

[39:38]because the value of uh 400 or 500 silver coins is not

[39:46]an expensive or a high value on the contrary it's a low

[39:56]value the Mahar the Dowry of was was based on what the

[39:59]narration state was was a cheap dowry and that's something good that's

[40:05]something good it's not something bad it's not something that puts Imam

[40:09]Ali or say to Zara down because they're teaching us a lesson

[40:13]marriage and Islam should be easy in order to facilitate marital Affairs

[40:21]or marital issues the EXP the the Dowry should not be expensive

[40:26]having expensive dowries or putting a condition on the Muslim man that

[40:34]if you want to marry our daughters you have to pay expensive

[40:37]Diaries that's something bad it's something that will make marriage more complicated

[40:43]more difficult and the more difficult marriage becomes the easier it will

[40:51]be for our youth or our men and women to fall into

[40:58]unlawful Deeds so it's a serious issue want to give us that

[41:06]lesson rasulullah wants to give us that lesson the cheap diary is

[41:09]a good dowry the expensive one is not a good Dowry it's

[41:14]not a blessed story the question is what is the value today

[41:18]of 400 or 500 silver coins the value is approximately give or

[41:26]take of course a thousand dollars that's it approximately a thousand dollars

[41:33]not more each dirham as said equates approximately three grams of silver

[41:44]and you know that the value of silver and gold differ from

[41:49]time to time so you can easily um multiply three three grams

[41:58]by 500.

[41:58]or 400 based on this tradition and then convert that amount to

[42:07]dollars for example US Dollars Canadian dollars Australian dollars Etc and you'll

[42:17]see the approximate value of Maharaj Zahara the Dowry of an hour

[42:22]era inshallah in the next classes will continue with the fabulous Traditions

[42:28]about their blessed marriage
