[0:11]all right on this day I would like to congratulate you on
[0:18]the birth of Imam we ask Allah to illuminate our hearts and
[0:29]Minds with the wisdom and to grant us states in the Holy
[0:42]Quran verse 7.
[0:46]Bismillah foreign [Music] um there is a beautiful tradition attributed in the
[1:24]tafsir of this verse 7.
[1:30]was asked about this verse the Imam stated that there was a
[1:39]man by the name of Abdullah he came to the prophet salallahu
[1:48]alaihi when he was in Mecca and he told him o Muhammad
[1:52]you claim that you're a messenger God has chosen you to be
[2:00]his messenger that's not appropriate how is that even possible you eat
[2:06]like we eat you walk in the markets like we walk what's
[2:12]special about you they had in their minds those pagans that a
[2:19]messenger who comes from Allah must have Supernatural Powers must not even
[2:26]be a human being should be an angel some sort of mystical
[2:30]magical being how do you eat like we eat so we're not
[2:35]going to accept that you're a prophet the prophet salallahu alaihi said
[2:43]oh Allah you hear what they say and you give them the
[2:49]response so Allah sent down this verse verse 7 of Surat al-furtan
[2:53]rasool why is it that this messenger why does he eat food
[3:02]and he walks like we walk in the markets if God really
[3:11]has chosen him he should send an angel with him that we
[3:15]can see you should be with him warning the people but we
[3:20]don't see any Angels around you so we will reject you the
[3:23]Quran is describing their stubbornness but there is an important lesson that
[3:32]we draw from this verse has chosen our leaders whom we follow
[3:40]to be human beings why Allah could send an angel to lead
[3:43]us everyone can see that angel why does God insist on choosing
[3:51]human leaders to lead us like the prophets and the imams there
[3:55]is one very important reason why Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala wants our
[3:58]leaders to be humans Allah wants you to follow a leader who
[4:05]has human emotions who suffers like you suffer suffer who goes hungry
[4:14]like you go hungry who has these human experiences who feels your
[4:19]pain who feels your suffering this is much more impactful than you
[4:24]following an angel who does not have the capacity to experience these
[4:29]human States I mean imagine an angel comes to you and the
[4:35]angel is giving you advice let's say you're at the University for
[4:38]some of the brothers and the angel tells you look when you
[4:43]see that lady when you see that girl you lower your gaze
[4:48]resist resist against your desires you could come back and say to
[4:52]the angel and say Habibi Angel what do you know about what
[4:54]I'm going through what do you know about resisting temptation do you
[5:00]know what happens to me do you know what happens to me
[5:06]in terms of my biology my physiology my psychology when I'm attracted
[5:10]to the opposite gender what do you know about that so please
[5:12]don't give me advice or imagine if you're addicted to that Haram
[5:18]music and you have the addiction and the urge to constantly listen
[5:20]to it and the angel tells you don't listen to it that's
[5:25]not good for you you'll tell the angel what do you know
[5:27]about what I'm attracted to do you know what happens to my
[5:31]body when I hear that music that I'm addicted to Allah wants
[5:35]you to follow a human leader who shares with you your pain
[5:42]and suffering that's much more effective Allah wants that human connection so
[5:47]you can emulate that later you can follow that leader when the
[5:51]prophet salallahu alaihi tells you to resist against your desires he also
[5:56]has desires when the prophet says fast even if you're hungry and
[6:00]thirsty he goes through hunger and thirst when the prophet says sacrifice
[6:03]he's the first to sacrifice that's why Allah wants us to follow
[6:08]human leaders prophets and imams and their representatives because that's much more
[6:13]effective than having angels lead us who don't have the capacity to
[6:20]experience what we experience this was the objection of those pagans but
[6:25]Allah described them as being stubborn as rejecting the truth I've given
[6:30]you the best leaders follow them you don't need an angel in
[6:34]fact in another verse 9 Allah States even if I'd like to
[6:45]accept your request and make the prophet amalek an angel I'd still
[6:50]make him a human I'd still put him in human form because
[6:54]that's much more effective in leading you now this brings us to
[7:02]a very important discussion today with all these scientific advancements that we
[7:10]are witnessing one amazing dimension of modern science is artificial intelligence and
[7:17]day after day we are witnessing how artificial intelligence is being developed
[7:25]in order to generate mind-boggling results many of you are probably familiar
[7:34]with the recent AI platform which was created by open AI called
[7:39]chat GPT how many of you have used it raise your hands
[7:43]if you've used chat GPT okay most of you are probably familiar
[7:47]with it and you've used it yourself now this is bringing amazing
[7:50]capabilities to us today let's say in July you'd like to go
[7:55]on a vacation and you have a five thousand dollar budget you
[7:59]can speak to these AI platforms and tell them I have a
[8:04]budget of five thousand dollars I'd like to go on a one
[8:06]week vacation in July and these are the types of hotels I
[8:11]like only four star hotels and these are the activities that I
[8:14]like I like snorkeling and zip lining you know what that bot
[8:19]will do for you it will search millions and millions of possibilities
[8:24]and it will suggest to you take this route go with these
[8:29]Airlines go five days to the Caribbean six days to Mexico and
[8:32]this will fit with your budget and these are the activities that
[8:37]you can do it's truly mind-boggling what this platform is able to
[8:45]deliver and our society is transitioning and moving towards a phase where
[8:52]we are becoming almost fully dependent on these Bots next few years
[8:58]I anticipate that there will be less and less human interaction and
[9:03]instead we will replace that with Bots with AI platforms to do
[9:08]our work to interact with and to even have a friend yes
[9:15]today there are some people they're befriending these Bots they chat with
[9:18]them for hours and hours and they like their responses we are
[9:23]replacing the human being with modern technology and this is coming in
[9:30]various areas so let's have a discussion on what we need to
[9:33]be aware of what are the challenges of such a modern lifestyle
[9:39]and why is it that we need that human interaction today today
[9:44]there are some people who say in the near future I Don't
[9:46]Need a Doctor anymore I don't need a surgeon anymore I can
[9:50]go and have this bot diagnose me with whatever illness I have
[9:54]with whatever condition I have and robots will operate on me yeah
[9:59]this is probably going to be a reality I don't need advice
[10:03]from my parents anymore why do I need Mom and Dad when
[10:05]I can just go to Google and get advice about anything that
[10:09]I want or I can just consult chat GPT and it will
[10:11]tell me what I need to do in fact why do I
[10:15]need even do I why do I even need a teacher you
[10:18]want to learn English literature literature go to Jack gbt it will
[10:24]tell you about Shakespeare and poetry and summarize for you any novel
[10:27]that you want why do I even need to see a scientist
[10:33]or learn science the hard way when I can have a shortcut
[10:36]like that and in fact even more than that some are saying
[10:41]I don't even need a merger or scholar in the future take
[10:44]all these books the Hadith books the filter books the osul books
[10:49]feed them into this AI platform give it to chat GPT and
[10:54]it will give me the fatwa simple done I don't need to
[10:58]follow anyone yes for some people they are actually thinking about these
[11:02]scenarios and for them this is going to be a reality so
[11:06]what is our perspective on that and why is it that we
[11:14]definitely need that human interaction and we still need to follow human
[11:20]experts let's examine the area of parenting very quickly as a first
[11:24]step then we'll transition into the other areas one of the challenges
[11:28]that some parents have today with their children who are getting married
[11:31]or their children who are growing up whether Millennials Generation Z is
[11:36]that they no longer take advice from us recently I heard a
[11:41]mother she was very frustrated she went to visit her son and
[11:46]her daughter-in-law they had a child the child was crying all night
[11:51]the mother came and she told them I know what's wrong with
[11:56]the child I I raised several children sometimes it's simple you know
[11:59]you just have to carry the child in a diff in a
[12:02]in a certain way rub their back and have them relieve themselves
[12:05]the son said no Mom no don't get involved I Googled it
[12:10]up already I went on Google I know what I need to
[12:12]do with my child Habibi let me help I have some experience
[12:15]no Mom please me and my wife we figured it out you
[12:20]have this attitude where the younger generation are reluctant to take advice
[12:25]from the older generation and they say I have better ways I
[12:30]can go to Google go to Bing chat GPT whatever it is
[12:34]and I can get advice from them now there are several concerns
[12:38]with this my dear brothers and sisters and I want the younger
[12:42]generation to especially be aware of these concerns number one do not
[12:46]dismiss the experience of your parents nothing can replace your parent your
[12:52]parent who raised you with love with compassion they have a lot
[12:57]of experience don't think that you can get all the details that
[12:59]you need to run your life from the internet from a Google
[13:04]search from a Bing search from a conversation with chat GPT that's
[13:09]not going to happen humans have experience that AI artificial intelligence cannot
[13:15]give you at least not yet you need that advice from your
[13:21]parents you need that experience from your parents there are some things
[13:25]your parents can detect that no machine can detect subhanallah Sometimes some
[13:30]others have you seen that just from the way the baby is
[13:33]breathing or crying they have an idea of what's wrong with the
[13:37]baby you think chat GPT can replace that think twice that's not
[13:42]something that can be replaced that's valuable experience over there yes I
[13:50]do encourage the youngsters to consult trusted websites to increase their knowledge
[13:56]to add to their experience not everything our parents did was the
[14:01]best way obviously we can improve it and parents need to know
[14:05]that that your way isn't the only way there are other ways
[14:07]you have to be flexible as well but we cannot dismiss the
[14:14]experience of the previous generation they have very valuable experience that we
[14:18]must take in our lives secondly even if you want to disagree
[14:22]with your parents let's say your parents are doing something the wrong
[14:27]way and you've got a better way of doing it fine but
[14:29]at least be respectful in disagreeing with them today with the younger
[14:37]generation what really is disturbing and troubling is that we don't have
[14:42]an ethical way of disagreeing with with our parents no value no
[14:46]respect for Mom and Dad you're wrong that's it out the door
[14:49]Masala bye that's wrong even if you need to just to disagree
[14:56]with your parents at least do so in a respectful way tell
[15:01]your parents I really value your advice thank you so much I
[15:05]will look into it may Allah prolong your lives inshallah you'll always
[15:08]be there for me thank you so much kiss your mother's hand
[15:10]kiss your father's hand thank them and if you really think they're
[15:16]wrong fine don't take their advice but do so in a respectful
[15:22]way this is something that is missing more and more from our
[15:27]younger generation even now when we proceed to other fields you cannot
[15:31]go on Google on being on these platforms and diagnose what illness
[15:36]you have and get the treatment you still have to go to
[15:42]a doctor a Doctor Who's qualified who has a lot of experience
[15:46]that cannot be replaced by a simple AI platform yes you can
[15:53]use these platforms to build your knowledge to better understand how treatment
[15:59]works that is acceptable for you to replace your doctor no that's
[16:04]not the correct way of using technology but some people are taking
[16:09]that path today the younger generation financial advisors I don't need them
[16:15]I can just go to the Internet and get financial advice doctors
[16:18]maybe if it's an emergency I'll need them I'll have to go
[16:23]but for the most part I can take care of myself this
[16:24]can actually be very dangerous in fact in fact my dear brothers
[16:32]and sisters these AI platforms are already telling us of their dangers
[16:37]open AI admitted that the advice that chat GPT can give you
[16:40]can be dangerous can be misleading there are a number of concerns
[16:46]with these platforms we have to be aware of these concerns the
[16:50]first concern is the bias that exists in those platforms who is
[16:54]feeding them the data who's feeding them these big corporations what's their
[17:01]agenda there are a lot of biases don't think that the advice
[17:04]you're going to get from a platform like chatpt is going to
[17:12]be completely you know objective no it gives you great advice I
[17:15]do not deny that but at the same time you have to
[17:20]be careful that not all the data that was fed into it
[17:24]was objective data there are biases out there these big corporations they
[17:30]may have an agenda that's one thing to consider one concern the
[17:35]second concern is that when we reduce human interaction our mental health
[17:42]goes down that's why this younger generation is the unhappiest generation in
[17:48]recent history according to a study done in the United States just
[17:51]a few months ago there was a very important study even the
[17:55]New York Times highlighted it that the younger generation today in America
[18:00]is the unhappiest generation in American history why money we've got more
[18:06]money science we've got more science technology gadgets we've got more than
[18:13]ever before but there is less human interaction we're spending more and
[18:18]more time online on social media on these platforms with less human
[18:22]interaction there comes a consequence and that is your mental health suffers
[18:26]your mental health pays the price there's more depression there's more anxiety
[18:34]there are more psychological disorders so when we become too dependent on
[18:40]artificial intelligence to run our lives we have to be aware of
[18:45]the consequences sometimes you just need that human element to connect to
[18:51]at the end of the day chat GPT is not a human
[18:52]who has emotions even if it speaks like one it's trained to
[18:58]mimic human speech but it's not a human being who has sympathy
[19:01]or empathy and knows what you can go through it's helpful it's
[19:07]a powerful tool we must take advantage of it but it cannot
[19:10]replace genuine human beings in your life this is also another very
[19:16]important concern the third concern is that Reliance on such platforms is
[19:24]reducing our productivity why should I go the hard way and learn
[19:28]how to to how to for instance Master data programming when I
[19:33]can just go to these platforms and tell them hey summarize it
[19:38]for me here here's a code problem can you fix this for
[19:42]me can you come up with this code for this software I
[19:45]don't need the long way this is reducing our productivity and that's
[19:50]not healthy we still need to be experts yes experts use platforms
[19:57]like that to help them but don't think you'll ever become an
[20:01]expert just by speaking to an AI platform that's not going to
[20:07]happen there's a huge difference between an expert who uses that platform
[20:11]to enhance what they know and to solve their problems and me
[20:14]who's a Layman and I don't know anything about that for instance
[20:17]my younger brother you know he is an expert in coding and
[20:24]software now he uses chat GPT to come up with codes to
[20:28]help him with data and programming and and he can't live without
[20:34]it right now it's so helpful to him but not me I
[20:35]don't know anything about data and programming and codes and software development
[20:42]you think me resorting to a platform like that is going to
[20:46]make me an expert that's not going to happen you still need
[20:52]to consult an expert human experts they have experience how to be
[20:59]successful how to fix problems you cannot say I can do away
[21:04]with them that's very dangerous now interestingly let's move to the third
[21:11]part of our discussion can these platforms replace Scholars at Maharaja as
[21:16]some people say bring thousands of books feed them into chat GPT
[21:23]and it will give you the fatwas the best fatwas right better
[21:26]than any merger who can look at all that data and remember
[21:33]it has powerful analysis why can we not do that I will
[21:36]share with you some concerns here and some recommendations going back to
[21:41]the verse in Surat al-furqan when you follow a scholar when you
[21:46]follow a merger do you think you're just following laws and rulings
[21:51]just you're following a fatwa no you're not just following you're following
[21:58]a human being who has piety who has takwa who should be
[22:04]humble who has opposed his desires for decades who is a spiritual
[22:10]being there fatwa has wait you think some chat GPT you know
[22:18]issuing fatwas for you that is going to have spiritual weight for
[22:22]you it's not going to have spiritual weight for you because imagine
[22:26]is a leader whom you emulate you're inspired by their legacy that's
[22:31]not something that AI can ever give you you cannot replace that
[22:37]imagine if you receive a letter from and he tells you donate
[22:44]to the poor x amount how much weight does that have how
[22:48]much weight does that have now imagine if chat GPT gives you
[22:55]the same instruction go and donate this much to the poor you
[22:58]think you'd really care you don't have that spiritual weight to artificial
[23:04]intelligence so we're trying to think that you can replace Scholars and
[23:08]you can replace even these programs and these majalis some people say
[23:14]yeah you know I can just tell chat GPT to give me
[23:16]a you know lecture on taqwa from the Islamic perspective it can
[23:22]by the way I myself I tried it it can summarize to
[23:24]you versus in the Quran chapters in the Quran it could do
[23:29]wonderful things and I'd like to share something with you it's really
[23:32]really interesting I can't not share it so I was experimenting with
[23:37]it recently and I asked it to compose a short poem using
[23:42]the style of Shakespeare about Imam Hussain and this is what I
[23:49]said to it can you write a short poem using Shakespeare's style
[23:53]about Imam Hussain look it's very interesting I'd like to read to
[23:58]you the poem oh how the tragedy of karbara did unfold A
[24:04]Tale Of Love sacrifice and bravery Untold in Imam Hussein we see
[24:14]a soul so true his courage and conviction a shining hue once
[24:19]more unto the bridge dear friends cried he as he led his
[24:26]followers to battle with bravery his heart a fire burning bright for
[24:30]justice and Truth he fought with all his might this is not
[24:37]a human talking this is entirely composed by chat GPT it does
[24:41]wonders no one denies that but does it have that spiritual weight
[24:45]to lead people absolutely not Allah wants you to follow human beings
[24:52]who have positive energy who resist temptation and desire who know how
[24:57]to sacrifice and they teach you about sacrifice Allah wants you to
[25:01]follow them recently I met a student in Negev he had recently
[25:07]moved to the city of Negev to study there I asked him
[25:12]what brought you to janjev do you come from a family of
[25:15]Scholars he comes from another country he said no none of my
[25:19]family are Scholars I told him then what attracted you to najif
[25:23]he said I'll tell you one incident moved me one day I
[25:29]went to visit a scholar in Lebanon a very Pious scholar and
[25:34]I don't really have a relationship with olama and Scholars I went
[25:38]to visit him when I entered into the room he took my
[25:43]shoes and he put them on the shoe rack he took my
[25:48]shoes he put them on the shoe rack he said that moment
[25:54]changed my life if this scholar with all his knowledge he so
[25:58]humble like that to carry my shoes and put it in a
[26:02]shoe rack he must be on the path of Truth he says
[26:06]he inspired me and now I'm the student in the city of
[26:07]najaf he's becoming a scholar can chat GPT do that for you
[26:14]brothers and sisters you need people who are positive who are good
[26:19]in your life and that's one reason why we need these majadis
[26:23]my dear brothers and sisters yes maybe these platforms can give you
[26:29]a nice a paragraph about piety about taqwa about the Quran but
[26:32]it's not going to have the same weight that's why he told
[26:37]his companions he said to his followers do you gather do you
[26:44]discuss our teachings he said yes we do the Imam says I
[26:48]swear by Allah I love those majalis they bring your hearts together
[26:54]they're good for your mental health you're struggling with depression anxiety have
[26:58]yourself surrounded with good people you need that human interaction you need
[27:05]a leader who can sacrifice who can feel your pain that is
[27:10]one reason why we need to follow a scholar yes Scholars should
[27:16]the houses and seminaries they should use these platforms to enhance their
[27:21]knowledge definitely and inshallah this will be a reality but for me
[27:24]to say I'm going to take AI as my merger Google is
[27:28]going to be my merger chat GPT is going to be my
[27:29]major no you need that human element who has that spiritual way
[27:35]to guide you to lead you it's not replaceable that's absolutely not
[27:41]replaceable in our lives having human beings who sacrifice who Inspire us
[27:48]that's why Allah has created our leaders as human beings simply when
[27:56]you see their sacrifice it truly inspires you why do we love
[28:00]the a little bait so much some of the companions of the
[28:04]prophet salallahu alaihi one day a man goes to visit look at
[28:11]this human touch look at these human experiences no AI can give
[28:15]you that he went to visit Abu dhar Abu dhar is now
[28:20]the host he told him I am busy probably making some preparations
[28:24]and Arrangements go see which camel that I have look at my
[28:30]camels over there choose the best camel and bring so we can
[28:35]prepare it and make a nice meal for you yes they'd eat
[28:39]camel meat back then it was common he went and he chose
[28:44]the worst camel the skinniest one the thinnest one he came and
[28:47]he said I've chosen this camel Abu there looked at it he
[28:53]told him you've betrayed me I asked you to bring the best
[28:58]of my camels so I can offer it to you and your
[29:01]family you bring the worst one what did he say he justified
[29:07]it he said I remembered the day of your need maybe one
[29:14]day you'll need that best camel which has more meat I remember
[29:18]that day so I want to keep the good one for you
[29:22]the character I remember the day of your need Abu dhar told
[29:28]him the day of my need is the day when they put
[29:33]me in my grave that's when I need these Good Deeds don't
[29:37]deny me that good deed you're concerned about my day of need
[29:42]my day of need is what I'm put in my grave haven't
[29:44]you heard Allah States you shall never achieve righteousness until you give
[29:56]from that which you love honestly can any artificial intelligence platform give
[30:02]you such a lesson in life can give you such moral ethical
[30:11]and spiritual guidance that's impossible we should not be naive to think
[30:15]that this is going to impact us the way spirituality impacts us
[30:21]here on another occasion that shows you the empathy of alibate and
[30:25]why Allah has chosen them as our role models and why we
[30:28]need these human beings to lead us a man came to the
[30:34]prophet sallallahu alaihi he said Allah I am hungry I need something
[30:37]to eat the prophet asked his wives is there anything in our
[30:43]house to offer they told them there's nothing in the house that
[30:48]we can offer this was the state of the homes of the
[30:50]Prophet imagine nothing nothing not a loaf of bread on that day
[30:55]that they could give so the prophet looked at his companions and
[30:59]he said who amongst you can give this man something to eat
[31:04]Imam I will share with him something he took him to his
[31:14]house and he said to Lady Fatima do you have any food
[31:17]to give to this man she told him I only have some
[31:23]food for Hassan and Hussein it's okay they're sleeping now let's give
[31:30]that food to this man are you able to do something like
[31:34]that you've only got some food that you've kept for your children
[31:39]do you have the power the altruism the selflessness to give it
[31:48]to a man who's poor and who's almost starving can you no
[31:52]my kids are hungry you're hungry my kids are hungry Imam Ali
[31:58]salaam takes that food he gives it to the Man and listen
[32:03]to what he does now if the man would know that they
[32:06]gave all their food he wouldn't be comfortable how is he going
[32:09]to eat when he knows he took their food they wanted him
[32:13]to eat with peace with comfort so they turn off the lights
[32:19]they turn off the light the candle the lamp and they go
[32:26]to the other corner of the room and they start to pretend
[32:32]like they're chewing food they pretend like they're eating so that man
[32:38]doesn't feel bad so he can eat with Comfort he thought they
[32:41]were also having their dinner eating something can you replace that with
[32:47]anything out there in the universe my dear brothers and sisters the
[32:53]biggest gift Allah has given you is to surround yourself with good
[32:55]people if you have a friend who inspires you who's compassionate who's
[33:00]humble who makes you remember Allah who brings you closer to your
[33:04]parents closer to your education that friend is more valuable than any
[33:09]gold diamond out there in the universe you need these human figures
[33:15]in your life don't think you can ever replace them so yes
[33:19]my dear brothers and sisters This Modern artificial intelligence is fascinating and
[33:25]we must use it for development but it's a tool it should
[33:28]not become the center of our lives where we replace it with
[33:34]genuine human interaction and remember with all these advancements remember one thing
[33:41]always know the greatness of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala who gave you
[33:48]this human mind who gave you this brain today there is no
[33:51]super computer on the face of the planet that can mimic the
[33:54]brain and the thought processes that happen in the brain scientists try
[34:00]to do that they couldn't they took one cubic millimeter of a
[34:04]thin slice of the brain of a mouse that's the size of
[34:12]a you know grain of sand it's that small one cubic millimeter
[34:15]it's the size of a grain of sand and they analyzed it
[34:21]to see what's in it and to see if they can transfer
[34:22]that data to a hard drive to a computer they found one
[34:29]hundred thousand neurons in that dot can you imagine one hundred thousand
[34:35]neurons with one billion connections between those neurons one billion connections now
[34:43]you the human brain you know how many neurons you have on
[34:46]average you have a hundred billion neurons now when you add all
[34:49]those connections it's a number you can't even write imagine how many
[34:55]connections there are between those neurons this is the work of Allah
[34:58]people who say give me proof I want to see Allah Habibi
[35:02]just look at your brain and Allah this brain what you recreate
[35:04]it from most of your brain is made of what made of
[35:09]what water most of your brain is water can you believe that
[35:12]this brain has this capacity and Allah has created it from water
[35:16]don't you see the Miracle on the creation of Allah and subhanallah
[35:23]there is a beautiful Hadith that states in Allah Allah has made
[35:30]water has given water the capacity to carry his Deen and his
[35:37]knowledge and there's a verse in the Holy Quran that States before
[35:42]the creation of this you know Earth and universe the Throne of
[35:47]Allah was on water look at your own brain it's made up
[35:50]of water mainly and you can have all this knowledge all these
[35:55]connections isn't this an indication of the creation of Allah this simple
[36:01]water that Allah created us from that brings you closer to Allah
[36:07]as we get more advanced just remember the Lord who gave you
[36:12]that brain who's creating all these advancements don't ever lose sight of
[36:19]that but truly having those leaders in our lives is inspirational it's
[36:24]what keeps us on the right path and it's what gives us
[36:27]hope in this Dunya today tonight we will celebrate the birth of
[36:32]element one day and I will conclude with this amen comes he
[36:39]knocks at the door but he was embarrassed he was shy he
[36:43]was hungry he was poor the Imam alaihi salaam opened the door
[36:48]what do you want he phrased what he wanted in the form
[36:57]of a of a poem he told him I don't have anything
[37:03]to give to sell I don't own anything for me to get
[37:07]any money any coins from it's enough for you just to look
[37:17]at me if you look at me you'll know in what miserable
[37:19]State I am so I have nothing to sell nothing to give
[37:24]Allah except for some face water that I've kept for myself an
[37:35]Arabic face water means dignity means your dignity I only have some
[37:40]dignity that's left in me I've not sold it yet I've kept
[37:47]it yet and I have found you to be the mushtari I
[37:54]have found you to be a person who will buy my dignity
[38:00]so yes I'm spending my dignity by asking because when you ask
[38:05]someone you humiliate yourself that's the reality of life when you need
[38:08]you when you're in need and you ask someone it's a type
[38:11]of humiliation he says I only have this dignity that I've kept
[38:15]but I'll sell it for you it's okay because you are the
[38:20]grandson of rasulullah responded to him told him wait for a moment
[38:29]he told one of his aides in the house go into the
[38:33]box where I have some money and bring whatever you find in
[38:39]it whatever you find in it Imam Ali salaam brings that money
[38:41]and he gives it to this man and it was a decent
[38:46]amount of money and when the Imam gave him that money you
[38:48]know what he told him he composed these lines of poetry so
[38:54]beautiful in Arabic he told them you rushed us you came unexpected
[39:06]unannounced if you had given us more time we would have given
[39:11]you even more take this 12 000 coins he told him take
[39:25]this I know it's little and imagine we don't have a transaction
[39:29]you never sold your dignity and I never bought your dignity the
[39:35]man began to cry the Imam Ali salaam told him why are
[39:41]you crying do you want more he said no I'm crying how
[39:44]will the dust eat these hands when you're in your grave such
[39:48]generous hands how will the dust eat them these are our role
[39:55]models Bismillah [Music] foreign everybody [Music] um all right foreign
