[0:04][Music] was given a very special gift from allah because of how

[0:22]humble he was he had the ability to speak to allah just

[0:26]like allah created a unique voice for each one of us a

[0:30]voice for the birds a voice for the rivers a voice for

[0:34]the leaves and so on allah created a voice that spoke to

[0:38]his prophet one day allah told prophet muhammad the next time you

[0:44]come to speak to me bring along someone who is inferior to

[0:47]you prophet musa alaihissalam went in search of such a person but

[0:53]failed to find one he felt that every person he met was

[0:57]better than him he did not think he was better than anyone

[1:01]prophet musa alayhis salaam then considered to include animals in his search

[1:07]he looked around until his eyes fell upon a sick dog he

[1:12]decided to take it along with him he tied a rope around

[1:16]the dog's neck and began pulling it after a short distance he

[1:20]regretted his action and set the dog free he returned empty-handed to

[1:26]have his conversation with allah why did you not bring someone along

[1:32]with you as i requested came the voice from allah prophet musa

[1:35]alaihissalam answered o lord i failed to find anyone who could be

[1:42]less of importance to me the reply came from allah by my

[1:45]might and glory had you brought someone regarding him to be less

[1:50]of importance to yourself i would have surely erased your name from

[1:54]the list of prophets you see when you humble yourself for the

[1:59]sake of allah when you find the beauty of life in serving

[2:04]other people when you're more concerned with the needs of others than

[2:09]your own needs when the thirst of your own brother stops you

[2:12]from quenching your own thirst allah will raise your status in this

[2:17]world and the hereafter just like abu fadl abbas [Music] of all

[2:30]the stories from karbala one story hits close to home the story

[2:35]about a brother and sister who cared for one another like the

[2:39]moon carried the stars as imam ali alaihis salaam was on his

[2:44]deathbed and his children were all around him he had one last

[6:24]he stopped and noticed that he had been surrounded by the enemies

[6:28]from every side he continued to make his way as the enemies

[6:33]attacked him he fought through them with all his effort while protecting

[6:39]the waterskin on his side some enemies feared his courage and began

[6:44]fleeing away but one enemy had approached from the back this man

[6:50]came and cut off the right arm of abbas luckily he was

[6:56]still able to protect the water from falling by allah even if

[7:00]you cut off my right hand i will continue to defend my

[7:06]religion and the truthful imam hussain grandson of the beloved prophet muhammad

[7:11]a few moments later another enemy went from behind a tree and

[7:16]struck the left arm of abbas and cut it after that an

[7:23]arrow hit his eye he was left standing there not knowing what

[7:27]he should do as the blood from his eye that he had

[7:30]been struck covered his other eye abalfa did not have any arms

[7:36]and was bleeding and suffering but all he could think about was

[7:39]fulfilling his promise and bringing back water for imam hussain and the

[7:44]children he tried to hold the water skin with his teeth to

[7:49]take it back to the camp when an enemy then aimed his

[7:54]spear and struck the waterskin the water came falling out as if

[8:00]striking the arms and the water skin of abbas was not enough

[8:06]an enemy then struck abal on the head and he fell to

[8:12]the ground abbas fell to the ground and yelled out peace be

[8:16]upon you o abba abdullah imam hussein heard his brother calling and

[8:24]ran towards the battlefield as he was approaching he saw an arm

[8:29]in one area and another near it he saw the flag thrown

[8:34]on the ground far away from the arms and body imam hussain

[8:39]got closer and was able to smell that this was al abbas

[8:42]because his body was unrecognizable al abbas did not want his brother

[8:48]knowing that he had been struck he was shy from his brother

[8:54]and sister that he was not able to fulfill both their promises

[8:57]he was not able to see but he felt someone coming near

[9:02]it is me my dear abbas it is me hussain who has

[9:07]struck your head who has struck your arms and your body my

[9:11]dear brother answer me let me take you back to our tents

[9:15]o abbas keep me here o brother keep me here o hussain

[9:58]as he made his way back to the camp he saw that

[10:03]sayada zainab was awaiting her two brothers at the door of the

[10:09]tent and sukena the daughter of imam hussain was also waiting for

[10:12]the water from her uncle oh my father where is my uncle

[10:18]abbas may allah reward you for your patience for your uncle abbas

[10:24]has been murdered my dear uncle abbas what have they done to

[10:37]abbas come back my dear brother come back we don't want the

[10:43]water anymore come back my dear zainab come do not let the

[10:59]been broken we have certainly lost everything when we lost my beloved

[11:05]brother abbas the connection between a brother and a sister could never

[11:10]be lost especially a connection like zainab and abbas amidst all the

[11:16]sorrow and heartache sayada zainab was patient she knew that allah could

[11:22]see everything that they were going through she knew that her brother

[11:25]hussain stood up for the truth and that abbas would have been

[11:30]her guardian regardless that night it was as if said zainab turned

[11:35]toward her father's grave in najaf and told him i promise you

[11:43]o father if it weren't for the tears of abba abdullah abbas

[11:48]would have been near me now you
